Norwegian high-octane metallers, Fight The Fight, performed inside Bullhead City Circus at the 2019 edition of Germany's Wacken Open Air festival. Watch professionally-filmed footage of the band performing the songs "Perfect Combination", "My Emperor" and "The Edge" below:
Fight The Fight recently dropped their single and music video, "Pacemaker", via Metal Blade Records (North America) and Indie Recordings (worldwide excluding North America).
Europe is in quarantine, and so was one of the members of Fight The Fight. After he got out, the band decided to go out on the empty streets of Oslo to do a video for their song.
With uplifting drum-beats and bouncy groove, "Pacemaker" directly takes action. The song's inner drive won't stop being fun, while the catchy chorus makes sure you'll never forget the lyrics of this song. Fight The Fight's incredible musicality shines through in an instrumental part, followed by an overwhelming guitar solo, which gets round-up by the song's chorus, and a stompy breakdown. Along with great guitar melodies, a decent harmonic background, and Lars Vegas' unique-sounding voice, this one directly goes into your favorite-song-playlist.
“Pacemaker” is the second single off their upcoming sophomore album titled Deliverance, due for release September 18.
Lord Of The Lost's new classical ensemble album, Swan Songs III, proclaims its mission statement almost immediately. A surprising piano intro and Chris Harms' dark and distinctive voice quickly gives way to "A Splintered Mind”, subsequently unfolding with the rich sounds of a full ensemble. The second single is lyrically driven by a torn apart and desperate protagonist in search of recognition and love. This theme is showcased in the songwriting, instrumentalization and general atmosphere of the song, which has been released today in conjunction with an official music video.
The video, shot at the Friedrich Ebert Halle in Lord Of The Lost's hometown Hamburg and directed by Chris Harms, showcases the recurring mood that can be expected on Swan Songs III, while introducing the entire ensemble.
Lord Of The Lost on the new single and video: "It was very important to us that one of the core songs of Swan Songs III gets a video that introduces our entire 14-piece ensemble, because our acoustic excursion, initially planned as a small adventure, has already grown to this size. When we shot the video, the restrictions of the current pandemic had just been decided, so we just managed to shoot this video with our wonderful ensemble. A few days later this would not have been possible anymore. So we hope that this song will bring a little warmth to your heart, in this complicated time."
Lord Of The Lost returns with their newest offering in their classic ensemble album series: Swan Songs III, the long-awaited successor to Swan Songs II, will be released via Napalm Records on August 7, 2020.
Deeply emotional storytelling melding with beautiful harmonies and Chris Harms’ palpitation-inducing deep vocals make Swan Songs III absolutely exceptional. The first single, “A One Ton Heart”, presents itself as a powerful ballad that makes the listener dive away with heavenly piano parts, underlined by delicate acoustic guitars and soft drum rhythms that take the listener onto a musical journey. Watch the absolutely outstanding and surprisingly historical video – featuring hand saws, classical string instruments and the beauty of violence – below:
Lord Of The Lost on the new single and video: “Since the founding of Lord Of The Lost, we have been wanting to shoot a video like this one. Unfortunately, none of our songs have ever fit to such a video. That hasn’t really changed with ‘A One Ton Heart’, but we didn’t want to wait any longer. So the video - in its non-existent statement - and our absurd looks have absolutely nothing to do with the song. Fortunately, the song didn’t care about that at all. And we have fulfilled another dream.”
The standard version of Swan Songs III consists of new songs, all recorded with The Lord Of The Lost-Ensemble, and brand new versions of a hand-picked selection of Lord Of The Lost classics, including the standout 18-minute-long song “Letters To Home”.
For all dark metal connoisseurs, Swan Songs III comes with a high quality deluxe box, including the instrumental Swan Symphonies III-versions of all songs and previously unreleased demo versions of eight new songs. As a special bonus, there is a full live set, recorded at their 10th anniversary show in 2019 in their hometown of Hamburg. More than five hours of Lord Of The Lost in all facets on seven CDs.
Swan Songs III will be available in multiple formats, including a high-class Earbook, a box set and a 2LP Gatefold Vinyl. The album is a gift to all music fans and marks the next highlight in Lord Of The Lost's musical career. Preorders available here.
Lord Of The Lost on the album: "The Swan Songs project started as a musical infidelity, continued in a beloved carry-on and became like a second musical DNA. Meanwhile, we feel at home in our second musical facet, as well as in our classifying Lord Of The Lost sound / shell. Swan Songs III has a musical depth that even surprises ourselves with a certain distance to its finishing. It is by no means the last part of a trilogy, but so far our personal highlight of Lord Of The Lost’s classical-career.”

What happens when you're in quarantine? You watch a LOT of movies!
That's when Chris Laney realized how many fantastic soundtracks there are out there. After an online with Allan Sørensen they decided to contact some friends to ask them to join in for some quarantine fun.
The last song of the first season of At The Movies is "The NeverEnding Story", composed by Giorgio Moroder with lyrics by Keith Forsey, and performed by Christopher "Limahl" Hamill for the 1984 film of the same name.
BraveWords is premiering the new single from Black Swamp Water, “Showdown”. The single is from the band’s upcoming third album, which will be issued through Mighty Music. Produced by Tue Madsen, the video was directed by Crow Valentine.
Black Swamp Water is old school hard rock and heavy metal with obvious references to the bands like Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne and Corrosion Of Conformity and with a howdy to the southern rock scene.
Black Swamp Water features Kim Langkjær Jensen, former drummer of death metal bands Dawn of Demise, Illdisposed and Koldborn. Other than Kim, the band consists of singer Bjørn Bølling Nyholm, bass player Jeppe Birch Friis, and the two guitarists Jan Geert and Martin Lykke Hansen.

Electric Mob, the newest up-and-coming hard rock sensation signed to Frontiers Music Srl., will release their debut album, Discharge, tomorrow (Friday, June 12).
A message from the band: "We know everybody is excited about the release of Discharge, but we couldn't forget to mention that we missed for one day the same release date as one hell of an album - Slave To The Grind by Skid Row. Here’s Renan and Ben Hur doing a humble acoustic version of the outstanding 'Quicksand Jesus'."
A mixture of powerful vocals, mean guitar riffs, and heavy groove with influences from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, the band is prepared to put Brazil back on the rock ‘n roll map. Their debut album, Discharge, is slated for release on June 12. Pre-order/save the album here.
Formed in Curitiba, Brazil by Renan Zonta (vocals), Ben Hur Auwarter (guitar), Yuri Elero (bass), and André Leister (drums), Electric Mob caught the attention of Frontiers with their tremendous hard rock songs that show the influence of contemporary hard rock giants while also showing a knowledge of the hard rock pillars of the '70s and '80s. Electric Mob is comprised of four young, hungry and extremely talented musicians, with the rock 'n roll attitude to deliver their explosive performances. Like a sonic punch to the face, their songs bring a heavy sound with a distinct groove. Think Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses mixed with Audioslave with a bluesy touch on top, and you are getting close to the band's sound.
The band says that, "there isn’t anything like being able to contribute to the world of hard rock music and we are sure that we couldn’t be in a better place to do it than here with Frontiers. Doing what you love most is the greatest feeling ever and when heavy, mean, and dirty rock n roll is what you love, well…that’s the dream! We are really looking forward to releasing our debut album. All you rockers out there can expect something like a flying dropkick with both feet right in your chest! And for those who don’t know us yet, watch out, because we are coming!"
Vocalist Renan Zonta is no stranger to rock fans in Brazil. He is one of the most acclaimed participants of all-time on the TV show The Voice Brazil, with more than 3 million views on YouTube for his various videos. His vocal abilities are simply stunning and this debut album will easily put him in the range of the new “vocal giants” and labelmates like Dino Jelusick of Animal Drive, Nathan James of Inglorious, and Ronnie Romero of The Ferrymen.
Electric Mob is one of rock’s most exciting and promising newcomers in years and Frontiers could not be prouder to be releasing their debut album on an unsuspecting public.

It's a creative vision made solely by Arrival Of Autumn from us to you and we are stoked to share it with everyone with the help of the fine folks at Nuclear Blast!"
Harbinger was produced and mixed by Jason Suecof and mastered by Alan Douches. Order the album both physically and digitally here.

Dragged Under and Mascot Records / Mascot Label Group have aligned with one another announcing plans to release a deluxe version of the band’s current release, The World Is In Your Way, later this year. The band’s repertoire is exploding at streaming platforms across the globe via an organic groundswell that has taken on a life of its own. To date, cumulative streams have exceeded four million plays.
The band features front man Tony Cappocchi, who has spent the last few years managing and marketing content creators and musicians alike, and has developed a passion and conviction to be transparent about what he believes is right. His lyrics paint a colorful picture of where he stands on mental health issues, government overreach, individual freedom, personal responsibilities and self-accountability. On guitar is Ryan Bruce, or as most know him “Fluff.” A content wizard for practically his whole adult life, Ryan has been creating music, and growing his recording studio gear tutorial videos, with views in the millions. On bass and backing vocals is Hans Hessburg, who has studied music theory and makes his living doing solo performances locally, while also offering music lessons on a variety of instruments (alongside vocals). Rounding out the rhythm section is drummer Kalen Anderson, who’s first tour ever was with Dragged Under when the band toured as support for The Used in January, 2020.
On the signing, guitarist Ryan Bruce shares, “Dragged Under joining Mascot is both a privilege and an honor. We feel that Mascot Records genuinely understands the band’s music and message, and we could not be more excited to work with such an incredible group of people globally! It would be an understatement to say I am grateful for the band to join the family. Their track record with bands like 10 Years, Gojira and Volbeat really sets them apart, so for me to now call the label home with my own band is a dream come true!”
Frontman Tony Cappocchi adds, “We are excited and honored to say that we have joined the Mascot Label Group family. We had a lot of options for this signing, but we saw what Mascot has been able to do with their bands and the level of attention they get from the label team, which is what ultimately made our decision and we couldn’t be more excited. We believe Mascot will be a partner that can support taking this from being a hobby to a career. At the end of the day the goal is to be able to play for our fans as often as possible.”
Mascot Label Group President / North America Ron Burman states, “We’re so excited about signing Dragged Under. The band embodies punk rock spirit, lifestyle and energy, fused with metal core sonics along with great hooky choruses. I love their DIY ethos, and their live show is off the hook! It’s rare to encounter an artist whose efforts on a purely independent level have yielded this vast connection to a global audience. We could not be more optimistic about the potential for the band’s future.”
Today, the band and their new label partner present a video for the song “Chelsea”, which can be viewed below. Recently the band launched a mixing composition for this song specifically via Rate My Mix, which also lives on Warren Huet’s YouTube channel, which received over 6,000 submissions. The astonishing engagement by the audience yielded more audio files than the domain had received for any given competition prior. See here for more details.
The band is pushing to be a voice for the fed up. The people who want to live and let live, the ones who have had enough of people telling them what to think, who to be and what they should believe. They want to make it known that they’re not here to make you like them. There is a passion for change in our world, and Dragged Under aim to lead us in to the era of self-discovery, introspection and following our own paths wherever they lead. From the musical epicenter of Seattle, and across The World, Dragged Under is casting a footprint that we rarely see emerge so instantaneously.
Today, Finland's Korpiklaani are pleased to release another version of "Beer Beer". This time it is "Shai Shai" featuring Nytt Land's Natalya Pahlenko singing in Siberian, continuing Korpiklaani's concept of singing in different languages and cultural influences for "Beer Beer".
Natalya states: "Harsh Siberian beer named Shai Shai with the taste of Taiga and salty steppes. It's time to awaken your inner Shaman!"
Korpiklaani adds: "Nytt Land are a Shamanic Folk Duo that we meet when they supported us the first time we played in Omsk. It was on those rare performances when all of us came out to watch them, it was that powerful. We soon became friends, with both Jonne and Tuomas having contributed on different tracks on their new album. Their version, "Shai Shai" is one of our favorites as it is pure shamanic folk from Siberia. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do."
For this song, Nytt Land used several instruments like Jouhikko, flute, big frame drum and percussion instruments - as well as traditional Siberian throatsinging.
In the meantime, Korpikaa finished the album recordings for the new masterpiece of the folk metal superstars and just started the mixing process. Stay tuned for news!
Frontiers Music Srl will release Always The Villain, the debut album from Michael Grant & The Assassins, on July 10. Pre-order the album here, and watch an acoustic performance of "Anthem Of Us" below:
Michael Grant & The Assassins play a diverse and exciting brand of hard rock music incorporating elements from alternative rock and metal, while exploring different textures, genres, and influences. Band mastermind Michael Grant (who plays all instruments on the album) creates a sound that is intense, heavily melodic, and anthemic.
Of the making of the album, Grant says, "It took well over a year to record Always The Villain. There was such a massive learning curve in the actual recording process for me to be able to deliver. I had to write, arrange, record, produce everything as well as play all of the instruments myself. I believe recording this way truly helped in bringing to fruition my full musical vision and signature sound. I couldn’t be more happy with the end results and I really loved recording this way."
In the works since 2018, Always The Villain is a labor of love for this established talent. Prior to The Assassins, Grant was the creative driving force behind Endeverafter, a Sacramento based alternative/hard rock band signed to Epic Records in the early ‘00s. Handling vocals, lead guitars, and songwriting, Grant released two albums with the band before disbanding them in 2012. Grant then served as touring guitarist for LA Guns for five years and also recorded one album with the band. Prince, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Guns 'N Roses, David Bowie, Tom Petty, and In Flames are all influences on Grant and informed the sound of Always The Villain. Grant is now focused full-time on The Assassins, who have already played shows in the US, including a performance on the Monsters of Rock Cruise 2019. The band plans to get out and play shows again, once we’ve all returned to a sense of normalcy, of course.
Keep your ears open for one of the most fresh and inspired new acts you will hear in hard rock music this year.

German power metallers RAGE have parted ways with guitarist Marcos Rodriguez and have replaced him with two new six-stringers: Stefan Weber (ex-AXXIS) and Jean Bormann (ANGELIC, RAGE & RUINS). Alongside vocalist/bassist Peavy Wagner, drummer Vassilios "Lucky" Maniatopoulos continues to be part of the group's permanent lineup.
Says Peavy: "We've wanted for some time for RAGE to be a quartet again, with two guitarists the way we operated back in the days of 'Black In Mind' and 'End Of All Days'. After Marcos had returned to Tenerife and consequently was no longer available, I used this opportunity to enlist two young guitarists."
The new RAGE lineup can be seen and heard for the first time in the "The Price Of War 2.0" video, a new version of the song from "Black In Mind", which is being released today.
Says Peavy: "As you can tell from the clip, Stefan and Jean complement each other perfectly. They're both young and bring a lot of fresh energy to the band.
"We consciously chose this number for the video because we also wanted to revitalize the sound of the 'Black In Mind' era. The track was cut practically live for the clip, with only a few overdubs added. RAGE will sound as heavy and punchy as we do on that song."
The fact that RAGE is already busy working on new material proves just how well the new lineup has jelled on a musical as well as a personal level.
Says Peavy: "We're not in a position to do any shows for obvious reasons at the moment, but the guys are bursting with energy. We're using that momentum to work on new ideas that will probably be ready for release next year."
RAGE's latest album, "Wings Of Rage", was released in January through Steamhammer/SPV as CD digipak, 2LP gatefold version, limited box set, shirt bundle, download and stream.

U.D.O., the German metal band led by former ACCEPT frontman Udo Dirkschneider, has released a new music video for the song "One Heart One Soul" from the group's latest album "Steelfactory". Due to the coronavirus lockdown, each member of U.D.O. recorded his parts in his own home studio.
In a message accompanying the video, U.D.O. said: "All of us are very aware of the Crazy Shit going on in the USA, & the Demonstrations going on there & in many other Countries Worldwide. We as a Band & also as individuals stand against ANY form of Racism & Bigotry, regardless of whether it is due to the Colour of someone’s skin, their Nationality, their Ethnicity, or their Religion. So we want to say, with One Voice, THIS HAS TO STOP. We are all people living together on one small, fragile Planet, and it is time for ALL of us to treat each other equally & with respect. Black Lives Matter, ALL lives matter, & we dedicate this Video to the fight for equality. ONE HEART ONE SOUL, that is what the World Needs."
U.D.O. has collaborated with Das Musikkorps der Bundeswehr, the military band of the German federal armed forces, on an album called "We Are One", to be released on July 17 via AFM Records/Soulfood Music. The LP contains 15 new songs that were developed and arranged by U.D.O. together with Lieutenant Colonel Christoph Scheibling. Two other former ACCEPT members, Stefan Kaufmann and Peter Baltes, were part of the songwriting too, as well as the German Armed Forces composers Guido Rennert and Alexander Reuber. The title "We Are One" has been the driving force for everyone involved.
"Steelfactory" was released in August 2018 via AFM.
In October 2018, U.D.O. announced the addition of Dee Dammers on guitar and Tilen Hudrap on bass.
U.D.O.'s current lineup is rounded out by Udo's son and drummer Sven Dirkschneider and guitarist Andrey Smirnov.
Here is a brand-new Video, "One Heart One Soul" from our latest Album “Steelfactory”. Due to the Lockdown, we each recorded our parts in our own Home Studios.
All of us are very aware of the Crazy Shit going on in the USA, & the Demonstrations going on there & in many other Countries Worldwide.

Today, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of "Permanent Waves", Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees RUSH have premiered their new official conceptual music video for "The Spirit Of Radio". The animated video captures the magic, spirit and growth of the FM radio format with a nostalgic nod to the pioneering DJs broadcasting music into homes around the world. The video also pays homage to RUSH drummer and soul brother Neil Peart whose music and lyrics continue to capture the hearts and imaginations of the fans.
"The Spirit Of Radio" is the first single off RUSH's 1980 album "Permanent Waves", which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. and No. 3 in Canada. It is RUSH's seventh studio album and signaled a new direction for the Canadian band as it entered a new decade. "The Spirit Of Radio" marked the band's successful step from the more lengthy and thematic writing style they were known for and it has become one of their most cherished songs among fans. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 51 in the U.S., No 22 in Canada, the Top 20 on the U.K. Singles chart and was named one of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's "500 Songs That Shaped Rock And Roll."
UMe/Mercury/Anthem label group recently released a new, imagination-capturing expanded edition of all the magic music that comprises "Permanent Waves". "Permanent Waves - 40th Anniversary" is available to fans in four distinct configurations, including the (1) Super Deluxe Edition, (2) two-CD Deluxe Edition, (3) three-LP Deluxe Edition, and (4) Deluxe Digital Edition.
RUSH — bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Geddy Lee, guitarist/vocalist Alex Lifeson, and drummer/lyricist Neil Peart — maintains a large and uniquely passionate worldwide fanbase that acknowledges and respects the band's singular, bold, and perpetually exploratory songcraft that combines sterling musicianship, complex compositions, and distinctive lyrical flair. RUSH has sold more than 25 million albums in the U.S. alone, with worldwide sales estimated at 45 million (and counting), and has been awarded 24 gold, 14 platinum, and three multi-platinum album distinctions. RUSH has received seven Grammy nominations, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame in 1994 and the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2013.
The world continues to mourn the loss of Neil Peart, who passed away on January 7, 2020 at age 67 after losing his incredibly brave three-and-a-half-year battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma). The band requests that friends, fans, and media alike respect the family's ongoing need for privacy and peace, and suggest that those who wish to express their condolences can choose a cancer research group or charity of their choice and make a donation in Peart's name.
Former MACHINE HEAD guitarist Phil Demmel has teamed up with TESTAMENT bassist Steve DiGiorgio, MEGADETH drummer Dirk Verbeuren, ANIMAL DRIVE/DIRTY SHIRLEY singer Dino Jelusić and BLEEDING THROUGH keyboardist Marta Demmel to record a "quarantine" cover version of the Ronnie James Dio-era BLACK SABBATH classic "Falling Off The Edge Of The World" as part of Phil's new series "Collab-A-Jam".
Phil uploaded the video to his YouTube channel, writing in an accompanying message: "As the anniversary of Ronnie's passing was getting close, I reached out to Dino Jelusić to see if he'd be into singing on this tune. I saw him sing with TSO a few years back and thought he was awesome, but watching a vid of him cover the BADLANDS song 'The Last Time' blew me the fuck away. A SABBATH/Dio cover needs to [be] nailed. It had to be him. I next hit up my Bay-Area Brother, Steve Di Giorgio to do the Geezer [Butler] parts. We'd known each for about 35 years but never jammed together. I thought he'd be perfect.
"The intro is pretty layered. Steve had suggested we get real strings and brought in Julie Belanger Roy, she then layed down both a viola and violin track. My wife Marta found a keyboard patch that sounds sooooo close to the original and they NAIL it, all the way to the descending slide. I asked Steve about drummers and he mentioned he knew Dirk Verbeuren of SOILWORK/MEGADETH and could reach out. I had just watched Dirk play with Devin Townsend on the 70K Tons cruise and loved watching him play. A world-class drummer.
"Sounds like SDG put this line-up together? He pretty much did. Juan Urteaga got a slamming mix together and Scott Kirkeeng played around with the RotoScope effect you see on the vid.
"So much appreciation and thanks to all the above for the effort. This is done for fun and for the love of music, and this song was done in tribute of a man we ALL admire and carry the torch for. RJD RIP"
EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee and guitarist Troy McLawhorn recently performed a cover version of BANANARAMA's "Cruel Summer" for Germany's MagentaMusik 360. Video footage of their rendition can now be seen below.
EVANESCENCE's long-awaited new album, "The Bitter Truth", will arrive later this year. The disc's first single, "Wasted On You", came out last month and is the first in a series of songs that the band will make available from "The Bitter Truth" incrementally, culminating in the release of the full album.
The video for "Wasted On You" was shot by each band member — Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, McLawhorn and guitarist Jen Majura — on their iPhones while currently in isolation at their homes.
In an interview with Music Week, Lee said that a handful of new EVANESCENCE songs are completed and mixed, and while they're "all different," she added, "I think so far the one thing that ties them together is it's going to a place that's even more raw."
Lee also told Music Week that EVANESCENCE wanted to get "back to rocking" following 2017's "Synthesis", an album that featured orchestral and electronic reworkings of old material plus two new tracks.
She explained: "I don't want to say our new album is stripped back, because it's not — it's big, powerful and luscious. But we haven't done any orchestra parts on any of the new songs, and that's not because we couldn't get together with one because of the pandemic."
METALLICA has posted another video as part of its new concert series, "#MetallicaMondays", where the band is streaming a complete live show for fans on the group's YouTube channel and on Facebook every week. The latest concert to be shared was recorded on June 18, 2019 at at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England. The evening saw the metal icons battling what has been described as "typical Manchester" weather conditions — playing in a relentless downpour that hit the outdoor stadium.
The band said in a statement, "While we're all doing our part and staying home, we find ourselves missing live music, so how about we dive back into a few of our favorite shows at a socially responsible distance?"
METALLICA has been largely out of the public eye since last fall when the band canceled an Australian tour and announced that frontman James Hetfield was returning to rehab for the first time since 2002 to battle his addictions.
Hetfield made his first major public appearance since entering rehab on January 30, when an exhibit featuring 10 of his classic custom cars opened at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
In March, METALLICA announced that its South American tour, which was originally planned for April, has been postponed until December. In addition, the band's appearances at four Danny Wimmer Presents-produced festivals in May and September have been canceled: Epicenter in Charlotte, Welcome To Rockville in Daytona, Sonic Temple in Columbus and Louder Than Life in Louisville.
Guitarist Kirk Hammett told The Pulse Of Radio not long ago that METALLICA has to be in better than average shape to play its music live. "There's a physicality to our music that we cannot ignore, so we just kind of have to keep ourselves in a certain sort of physical sort of state where that we can't let ourselves get to a point where we can't play these songs," he said. "That's just not allowed. When we write this music, we have to make sure that we can play it and play it when we need to play it."
Edmonton death metal duo Tales of The Tomb have been a two-man wrecking crew for a while now, but today, the band is happy to share the news that they will commence as a trio with the addition of new bassist Jonnii Guns. In addition to him joining, the band is sharing his bass playthrough for the track 'Sinful Messiah' off of their latest EP “Volume Two: Mendicium” unleashed this past September. Check out the bass playthrough below.
Bassist Jonnii Guns comments:
"I'm excited to start working with the boys in Tales of The Tomb and moving into the next stage of my music career! I’m originally from the UK and moved to Canada nearly three years back. Previously I worked mostly with heavy metal, hardcore, and metalcore bands doing some touring and session work with the likes of The Hero Dies First, Faces of Eve, and years and years ago I helped out a little with L.A. Guns from... well LA! It was an awesome time playing with those bands and I have to say I wouldn’t be the musician I am without all the experiences I had with them! When first listening to Tales of The Tomb, I was unsure about the music having never played this kind of metal in the past, but after being sent the tabs and playing with the music, I really enjoyed it and the challenge of playing something new. Plus, I’m into alien conspiracy stuff, so I was super stoked when I heard all the different content with a darker theme! It makes it far more interesting! I’m really excited to be working with the lads on new material and incorporating my sound into the new EP and content we have planned."
Painting their canvas of extreme music with inspirations of real-life stories of murder, conspiracy, supernatural horror, and terror, Tales Of The Tomb's new EP Volume Two: Mendicium is a vicious bite of grinding blast beats, technical shredding accompanied by venomous guttural lows. Inspired by true events, the duo offer up gore-filled lyrics with a quivering soundscape. The EP was mixed and mastered by Cryptopsy guitarist and head engineer/owner at The Grid Studios Christian Donaldson along with featuring artwork by Tony Midi of Tonymidi Artworks.

Label boss Torsten Ihlenfeld: "Great to work with David again. Reece released an amazing album lately, followed by a great tour and extensive live activities, but looking at what is on the recording machines right now, this was just the beginning of something big to come. We are stoked to the max and can’t wait to bring this masterpiece to life!"

Sepultura is back with another SepulQuarta session; this time with a playthrough of the track “Mindwar”, taken from their 2004 record Roorback.
Andreas Kisser about the idea of the SepulQuarta sessions, earlier:
"SepulQuarta was born out of the necessity to express ourselves in a different way since we’re all facing a new situation. We came with this idea still influenced by the concept of our last album 'Quadra', using geometry, numerology and numbers. Wednesday, which is the fourth day of the week, was chosen for an event."
