LED ZEPPELIN's 'Celebration Day' To Stream On YouTube For Limited Time

LED ZEPPELIN has partnered with YouTube for a special streaming event of "Celebration Day". Recorded live at London's O2 Arena on December 10, 2007, the film captures a two-hour-plus tour de force of the band's signature blues-infused rock 'n' roll that instantly became part of the legend of LED ZEPPELIN. Founding members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, to perform 16 songs from their celebrated catalog, including landmark tracks "Whole Lotta Love", "Rock And Roll", "Kashmir" and "Stairway To Heaven".

"Celebration Day" will be streamed in its entirely for three days only on the official LED ZEPPELIN YouTube channel, premiering this Saturday, May 30, at 8 p.m. GMT / 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PST.

The film of "Celebration Day" saw a worldwide theatrical release by Omniverse Vision on 1,500 screens in over 40 territories in October 2012.

LED ZEPPELIN met with the press in September 2012 in London to launch "Celebration Day". Page told the press that he was thrilled with Jason Bonham's performance filling in for John Bonham, saying, "Jason was absolutely monumental. From the very first rehearsal right through to the O2." Plant added: "It was appropriate and it was wonderful and also his vigor was so fantastic too. He drove us, y'know? It was peculiar and strange at times, but at the same time it was very rewarding for all of us."

When asked why it took five years for the 2007 reunion concert to see the light of day, Jones joked: "Five years is like five minutes in ZEPPELIN time."

After the the O2 Arena concert, Page and Jones were looking for a way to keep working and tried out several singers, including AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler and ALTER BRIDGE's Myles Kennedy.

The option for a three-quarter ZEPPELIN reunion ended when Jones accepted an offer to form THEM CROOKED VULTURES with Dave Grohl and Josh Homme. Page later said: "I guess that was a pretty definitive statement."

Page said "the LED ZEPPELIN question" is never far from people's lips, joking, "People ask me nearly every day about a possible reunion. The answer is 'no.' It's been [more than a decade] since the O2. There's always a possibility that they can exhume me and put me onstage in a coffin and play a tape."

Watch IRON MAIDEN's BRUCE DICKINSON Sing A Cappella Versions Of 'Wasting Love' And 'Revelations' In Paris

Fan-filmed video footage of Bruce Dickinson ending his spoken-word show at La Trianon in Paris, France on February 14 (Valentine's Day) by belting out a cappella versions of the IRON MAIDEN songs "Wasting Love" and "Revelations" can be seen below.

Back in 2018, the IRON MAIDEN singer spoke to the New Zealand TV show "The Project" about his speaking tour, which features the rocker sharing stories from his autobiography, "What Does This Button Do?",

"The show I do, basically, it's a one-man show," he said. "And it morphed out of being initially promo for the book. The publisher said, 'We're gonna rent a little theater and you just do some readings,' and I thought, 'Well, that's kind of dull, really.' So, years ago, when I was an undergraduate in college, my then-girlfriend persuaded me to go and see a one-man show by a guy called Quentin Crisp. So I had to be dragged along: 'Oh, who is this guy?' Anyway, it was absolutely brilliant. And one of the things he did in the second half was he took cue cards from the audience who wrote questions down, and he basically came and did almost like an improv thing where he answered the questions. So I thought that would be nice to do. So I sort of constructed this show, as it were, and just winged it. And it was so good, they asked me back to do the Edinburgh [International Book] Festival. And then the next thing after that was I've ended up doing a bunch of them in Scandinavia, and I'm now doing Israel and Greece and more shows in Scandinavia and everything else. So, all of a sudden, I've got myself this little extra gig."

"What Does This Button Do?", landed at No. 10 on the New York Times "Hardcover Nonfiction" best sellers list. It was released in the U.S. in October 2017 via Dey Street Books (formerly It Books), an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.

"What Does This Button Do?" is Dickinson's third book. He has previously published two satirical novels, "The Adventures Of Lord Iffy Boatrace" about the English upper classes and "The Missionary Position" about televangelism.

Dickinson joined IRON MAIDEN in 1981, replacing Paul Di'Anno, and made his recording debut with the band on the 1982 album "The Number Of The Beast". He quit the band in 1993, pursuing several solo projects, and rejoined in 1999.

Dickinson, who turned 61 last August, has several other interests beyond music. He is a licensed commercial pilot and owns an aviation company. He has also done some acting and brewed beer.

Watch IRON MAIDEN's BRUCE DICKINSON Sing A Cappella Version Of 'Flight Of Icarus' In Barcelona

Fan-filmed video footage of Bruce Dickinson ending his spoken-word show in Barcelona, Spain on December 1 by belting out an a cappella version of "Flight Of Icarus", a song from IRON MAIDEN's fourth album, 1983's "Piece Of Mind", can be seen below.

Back in 2018, the IRON MAIDEN singer spoke to the New Zealand TV show "The Project" about his speaking tour, which features the rocker sharing stories from his autobiography, "What Does This Button Do?",

EXODUS And OVERKILL Members Join Forces For Quarantine Cover Of MEGADETH's 'Wake Up Dead'

OVERKILL/SHADOWS FALL drummer Jason Bittner has teamed up with EXODUS singer Steve "Zetro" Souza, EXODUS bassist Jack Gibson and ANGOR/ex-SHADOWS FALL guitarist Felipe Roa to record a quarantine cover version of MEGADETH's "Wake Up Dead", with each musician separated in his own home.

Bittner uploaded a video of the performance to his YouTube channel, writing in an accompanying message: "Just a bunch of metalheads jamming a cover for fun under quarantine..."

In a recent interview with Metal Pilgrim, Bittner spoke about what the touring circuit might look like post-pandemic.

"I don't think it's gonna stay the same," he said. "I'll be quite honest with you: I just don't think that we're just gonna go like this and be back to regular life in a couple of months. It's just not gonna work like that. I think that people are gonna be apprehensive, people are gonna be standoffish. I know people are gonna wanna get out too. Trust me — I'm just as guilty as everybody else. I'm going nuts being here [at home]. I love my wife, I love being here with her and the cats, but one trip to the store a week? That's not enough for me. I know I can go out of my house and be in my yard and stuff, but when you don't have that daily routine anymore, it turns into same stuff different day, basically.

"I really don't think the music business is gonna bounce back anytime soon," he added. "It's gonna be a year, I think, before you're even seeing bands that are going on full-fledged tours. I hope I'm wrong — I really do. And I think if anything, I think as far as my situation, OVERKILL, we're very lucky that this is coming at the heels of a tour cycle and not at the beginning of a tour cycle. It's worse for bands like TESTAMENT who just released a record and you're forced to stay at home. But who knows?

"Long story short, I think it's gonna affect the music industry and the whole entertainment industry — not just music; movies, all that. I think the whole entertainment industry is gonna be affected by it."

CHARLIE BENANTE And JOHN BUSH Reunite To Perform Quarantine Version Of ANTHRAX's 'Packaged Rebellion' (Video)

To celebrate the 27th anniversary of ANTHRAX's "Sound Of White Noise" album, drummer Charlie Benante and singer John Bush reunited — virtually — to record a quarantine version of the song "Packaged Rebellion".

Benante uploaded the video to his YouTube channel and included the following message: "An intimate version from the Sound of white noise album with my Friend- Happy Anniversary . If you like the song , please just enjoy it for what it is and nothing else"

A little over a year ago, Bush and Benante reconnected on stage at a METAL ALLEGIANCE concert in San Francisco, California to play the ANTHRAX songs "Only" and "Room For One More".

Bush fronted ANTHRAX between 1992 and 2005 but was sidelined when the band reunited with Joey Belladonna for a 20th-anniversary tour. When that collapsed, and relationships disintegrated with next frontman Dan Nelson, Bush returned for a time before Belladonna took the job back in 2010.

In a 2018 interview with 69 Faces Of Rock, Bush revealed that he hadn't spoken to Benante since John declined to re-record Nelson's vocals on the band's "Worship Music" album when he was asked to. He explained: "I didn't participate in [the songwriting process for the album], and I always had on previous records… I even said, 'Okay, if you pay me this amount of money, I'll do it.' And I gave some crazy figure, because I wasn't doing it out of the love of my soul, I was doing it for another reason. So I was, like, 'Then you've gotta pay me for it.' And that's when Benante got all livid on me and freaked out, and we still haven't spoken since then."

During the same chat, Bush said that the only member of ANTHRAX that he was still in contact with was guitarist Scott Ian. "I see Scott on occasion," he said. "So I have a relationship with Scott, because I see him more often, but I have not talked to Charlie or Frankie [Bello, bass] — I haven't spoken to them since, literally, that time. And, you know, it's weird and kind of probably sucks, but they haven't made an effort to call me, and I haven't made an effort to call them either, I guess. There was some weird stuff that happened when Charlie's mom passed away. I actually did reach out to him, but maybe I had the wrong number or something. I don't know… And so he was, I guess, bent out of shape about that. But… I did actually do it — I really did; I wouldn't lie about that. Obviously, when it [comes] to personal, all the other stuff is meaningless. But, you know, whatever… It is what it is. And there's no reason for me to be okay with Scott and not okay with those [other] guys, 'cause I had a relationship that was the same with all of them. It wasn't like me and Scott were closer and those guys weren't. We were all close at one point."

Bush temporarily rejoined ANTHRAX for a number of shows in late 2009 and early 2010 but stepped aside in May 2010 in order to make room for the return of Belladonna. Belladonna was the lead singer of ANTHRAX from 1984 to 1992, and was considered part of the band's classic lineup (alongside Dan Spitz, Scott Ian, Frank Bello and Charlie Benante), which reunited and toured during 2005 and 2006.

Although Belladonna did perform the Bush-era song "Only" live with ANTHRAX on a couple of occasions, the track has since been dropped from the band's set. "We've got enough songs [that were originally recorded with me on vocals]," Joey explained in a 2016 interview. "We've got enough material; I don't need to go back. I'd just as soon leave that alone. I mean, once in a while I get people complaining, and then after a while, it got really old too. I hate that whole thing, 'cause we're not even the same… We happened to be in the same band, but it's a completely different thing."

PANTERA Texas Video Tour: Childhood Home, DIMEBAG's House And Final Resting Place

Scott On Tape recently uploaded a 32-minute travel video featuring visits to several important PANTERA-related sites in the Dallas, Texas area, including the graves of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and his brother Vinnie Paul Abbott, their childhood home, and Dimebag's house, where his legendary studio was located. Check it out below.

Dimebag, one of the most beloved and respected musicians in hard rock, was shot onstage during a DAMAGEPLAN concert on December 8, 2004 at the Alrosa Villa club in Columbus, Ohio by a 25-year-old ex-Marine named Nathan Gale. Gale murdered a total of four people and wounded three others before being killed himself by police officer James D. Niggemeyer, who arrived on the scene minutes after Gale began his rampage.

Dimebag and Vinnie formed PANTERA in the mid-eighties in Texas. The band recorded four independent albums before their 1990 major label debut, "Cowboys From Hell", introduced a heavier sound and made them a favorite with metal fans. 1994's "Far Beyond Driven" debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 without benefit of a commercial hit single.

The group splintered in 2002 following the departure of volatile lead singer Philip Anselmo. Dime and Vinnie, as they were known to their fans, regrouped with DAMAGEPLAN, releasing the band's debut album, "New Found Power", in February of 2004. The group was touring in support of the record at the time of the shootings.

Dimebag's death was a devastating blow to the close-knit hard rock and metal community. He was known to his fellow musicians for his hospitality, friendship and partying spirit, and was a legend among fans and peers for his powerful, innovative and unmistakable playing style.

Vinnie Paul died in June 2018 at the age of 54 in his sleep at his home in Las Vegas. The official cause of death was dilated cardiomyopathy, an enlarged heart, as well as severe coronary artery disease. He was buried next to his brother and their mother, Carolyn, at Moore Memorial Gardens cemetery in Arlington, Texas.

CROSSON Release "Rest In Peace" Music Video

Aussie theatrical rockers, Crosson, show their sentimental side with the release of their new video, "Rest In Peace". Find the clip below.

"Rest In Peace" is the third video from the band's new album, Rock N Roll Love Affair, which continues to receive rave reviews around the globe since its release.

The album was once again mixed by legendary U.S producer Duane Baron (Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Poison), mastered by US mastering legend Dave Donnelly (Aerosmith, KISS, Whitesnake) , and engineered by Aussie veteran Russell Pilling (The Vines, Hoodoo Gurus)

Rock ‘N Roll Love Affair punches you in the face from the opening chords and erupts with ten infectiously catchy, highly addictive rock tunes. The only cure to get these songs out of your head will need to be medically prescribed.

The album also includes electrifying performances by some of Australia’s leading rock / metal musicians, including Stu Marshall (Death Dealer) and Dario Bortolin (Baby Animals).

Tracklisting:

"Everyone's A Star"
"Givin' Up Living Giving Up"
"Rest In Peace"
"We All Need An Enemy"
"Weak At The Knees (For A Hot Brunette)"
"Rock 'N Roll Love Affair"
"Possessed"
"You're The Reason"
"Merry Go Round"
"Back on The Attack"

METALLICA has posted another video as part of its new concert series, "#MetallicaMondays", where the band is streaming a complete live show for fans on the group's YouTube channel and on Facebook every week. The latest concert to be shared was recorded on March 20, 2014 at at the Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru. The concert footage was directed by Marcia Kaspustin.

The setlist was as follows:

01. Battery

02. Master Of Puppets

03. Welcome Home (Sanitarium)

04. Disposable Heroes

05. The Unforgiven

06. Lords Of Summer

07. …And Justice For All

08. The Four Horsemen

09. Whiplash

10. Orion

11. One

13. Fight Fire With Fire

14. Fade To Black

15. Enter Sandman

Encore:

16. Creeping Death

17. Hit The Lights

18. Seek And Destroy

The band said in a statement, "While we're all doing our part and staying home, we find ourselves missing live music, so how about we dive back into a few of our favorite shows at a socially responsible distance?"

METALLICA has been largely out of the public eye since last fall when the band canceled an Australian tour and announced that frontman James Hetfield was returning to rehab for the first time since 2002 to battle his addictions.

Hetfield made his first major public appearance since entering rehab on January 30, when an exhibit featuring 10 of his classic custom cars opened at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

In March, METALLICA announced that its South American tour, which was originally planned for April, has been postponed until December. In addition, the band's appearances at four Danny Wimmer Presents-produced festivals in May and September have been canceled: Epicenter in Charlotte, Welcome To Rockville in Daytona, Sonic Temple in Columbus and Louder Than Life in Louisville.

Guitarist Kirk Hammett told The Pulse Of Radio not long ago that METALLICA has to be in better than average shape to play its music live. "There's a physicality to our music that we cannot ignore, so we just kind of have to keep ourselves in a certain sort of physical sort of state where that we can't let ourselves get to a point where we can't play these songs," he said. "That's just not allowed. When we write this music, we have to make sure that we can play it and play it when we need to play it."

Watch Pro-Shot Video Of GUNS N' ROSES' October 2019 Concert In Salt Lake City

GUNS N' ROSES has released professionally filmed video footage of the band's October 29, 2019 concert in Salt Lake City, Utah. The clip, which can be seen below, is part of the new GN'R web series dubbed "Not In This Lifetime Selects" featuring highlights from nearly four-year "Not In This Lifetime" tour.

"Not In This Lifetime" tour, which began four years ago, recently became the No. 3 highest-grossing tour in the history of Billboard Boxscore.

Launched in April 2016, "Not in This Lifetime" featured classic-lineup members Slash, Duff McKagan and singer Axl Rose backed by guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and second keyboardist Melissa Reese.

GUNS kicked off its long-rumored and long-awaited reunion tour with a club show in Hollywood and appearances in Las Vegas and at California's Coachella festival.

As previously reported, GUNS N' ROSES' previously announced summer 2020 North American stadium tour has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic which is sweeping the globe. The nearly two-month-long trek was scheduled to kick off on July 4 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and run through August 26 on Missoula, Montana.

The band is now reportedly working on a new studio album — the first under the GUNS banner since 2008's "Chinese Democracy" and the first to feature Rose, Slash and McKagan since 1993.

Watch WITHIN TEMPTATION's Music Video For New Single 'Entertain You'

"Entertain You", the new video from Dutch symphonic metallers WITHIN TEMPTATION, can be seen below.

WITHIN TEMPTATION singer Sharon Den Adel stated about the song: "There’s always a group of people in society that doesn’t fit in and somehow we always have a need to emphasize that they do not fit in by singling them out, cornering them in all sorts of ways — think of viral videos, fights on the streets, et cetera. These people didn’t ask to be different; they simply are just different. The beauty is that by being different, these people bring so much color to our society, since our society is so uniform. These people are not here for our entertainment, so we can feel good about ourselves. If you don’t realize that, it’s maybe time for bit more self reflection and wonder why you are participating in such behavior."

"Entertain You" is a surprisingly quick follow-up to WITHIN TEMPTATION's seventh studio album, "Resist", which came out in February 2019. Asked in a new interview with Heavy New York if "Entertain You" is a good indication of what fans can expect to hear on WITHIN TEMPTATION's next album, Den Adel said: "Well, we don't know yet, because we have only recorded two songs so far. We have a lot of demos that we still have to work out and to finish. But we wanted to have a few extra songs, and this is one of them, to play at the tour we were supposed to be doing, beside the festivals. But everything is postponed now [due to the coronavirus pandemic], of course. But nevertheless, we decided to release it now because we felt like it's maybe a good time. Everybody is at home and we need something new to look forward to."

"Resist" debuted in several Top 10 charts worldwide and was the first WITHIN TEMPTATION album to ever reach a No. 1 position on the official German chart. And now, just a year later, new material is ready to be shared.

With the release of the new single, WITHIN TEMPTATION has embarked on a new adventure by going independent. In this fast-developing digital society, it is now possible to write new tracks and release them almost immediately to the audience. With this quick follow-up, the band will be able to indulge itself in its creative process with no production or time restraints, and release new music within a heartbeat. This will result in both the band and fans always being on the forefront of newly inspired and fresh music.

"Entertain You" arrived one week after the last show of the "Worlds Collide" tour was supposed to happen. The co-headline tour with American rock band EVANESCENCE was originally planned for April, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has now been postponed to September 2020. The trek, for which an impressive 150,000 tickets were sold in eight countries, will go ahead as planned across venues such as the O2 Arena in London, AccorHotels Arena in Paris, Velodrom in Berlin, and Palais 12 in Brussels.

ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN Performs Acoustic Lockdown Set Featuring Covers And A Brand New Song (Video)

On May 24th, Anneke van Giersbergen (VUUR, ex-The Gathering) performed a short acoustic set at Effenaar in Eindhoven, Netherlands as part of The Isolation Sessions. Her set featured songs from her catalogue, some covers, a brand new song, and a Q&A session.

Setlist:

"Four Years"
"Coming Around Again" (Carly Simon)
"Saturnine"
"My Mother Said"
"I'm Losing You" (new song)
"Wish You Were Here" (Pink Floyd)

Anneke van Giersbergen receives a lot of guest-requests, but she usually doesn’t have sufficient time to devote to recording guest vocals. Now that performing live has come to a halt to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, many musicians are using their homebound time to write and record new songs.

Anneke, too, spends most of her time in her home studio and since she is facing months without income, she got the idea to offer to record guest vocals. To preserve a certain amount of exclusivity, Anneke will choose one song a month as long as she won’t be able to perform live.

Send an MP3 of your demo song to guestvocals@annekevangiersbergen.com and please include the lyrics in a text file. Anything goes: signed bands, amateur songwriters, metal, country, duets, lead vocals, etc. The only conditions are one song per band / songwriter and you should have already written (most of) the vocal melody and lyrics in grammatically correct English or Dutch. Once a month Anneke will handpick her favourite song and record vocals for it.

Check out Anneke's message regarding this venture below.

WHITESNAKE: Music Video For 'Anything You Want' From 'The Rock Album' Collection

WHITESNAKE will bring together some of its hardest-hitting songs of its multi-platinum career on "The Rock Album", a new collection that features revisited, remixed and remastered versions of the group's best rock songs. The album is the first release in the band's "Red, White And Blues" trilogy, a series of fresh, new collections organized by musical themes that will include: "Love Songs" (red), "The Rock Album" (white) and "The Blues Album" (blue).

The official music video for "Anything You Want" from "The Rock Album" can be seen below.

"The Rock Album" will be available on June 19 on CD ($14.98), and as a double-LP set pressed on 180-gram, white vinyl ($31.98) and is available for pre-order now. The music also will be available through digital and streaming services. The collection features the debut of "Always The Same", a previously unreleased song that was recorded during the 2019 sessions for "Flesh & Blood".

In the album's liner notes, WHITESNAKE founder and lead singer David Coverdale writes: "All the songs have been revisited, remixed and remastered. Some have been musically embellished where my co-producer Michael McIntyre, my new mixer Christopher Collier and I felt it appropriate or necessary to bring out the best in these songs."

"The Rock Album" spans over three decades with songs originally released between 1984 and 2011 on six WHITESNAKE studio albums. One track — "She Give Me" — is taken from Coverdale's 2000 solo album "Into The Light".

The group's music from the 1980s is well represented by "Love Ain't No Stranger" from "Slide It In" (1984) and "Judgement Day" from "Slip Of The Tongue" (1989), as well as "Still Of The Night", "Give Me All Your Love" and the No. 1 smash "Here I Go Again" from WHITESNAKE's 1987 self-titled album, which has been certified mega-platinum.

"Restless Heart" (1997) gets its due on the collection with four songs, including the title track, the official lyric video for which can be seen below. "The Rock Album" also features music from 2008's "Good to Be Bad" ("Best Years" and "Can't You Hear The Wind Blow"), in addition to the title track from 2011's "Forevermore". Other highlights from "The Rock Album" include a remixed version of "All Or Nothing" that features additional guitars pulled from the original multi-track tapes, plus an alternate arrangement of "Tell Me How" from "Forevermore".

Last month, WHITESNAKE released a 35th-anniversary remix of "Slide It In" as a 2LP set on 180-gram transparent red vinyl. WHITESNAKE scored its first platinum-selling album in 1984 with "Slide It In", a release that has sold more than six million copies worldwide thanks to hard-rocking songs like "Love Ain't No Stranger", "Slow An' Easy" and the title track.

HOOKERS & BLOW Feat. GUNS N' ROSES, QUIET RIOT Members: Cover Of THE ROLLING STONES' 'Rocks Off' Out Now

HOOKERS & BLOW, the project formed by longtime GUNS N' ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed and QUIET RIOT guitarist Alex Grossi, has been hitting the studio to record a covers album, due later this year via Golden Robot Records.

Today sees the arrival of the LP's second single, an inspired cover of THE ROLLING STONES classic "Rocks Off". HOOKERS & BLOW delivers the track with all the soul, honesty and depth of the original but in its own fashion, dripping with immaculate musicianship and flawless vocals. Also available is a previously released cover of Eddie Money's "Shakin'".

Says Grossi: "We have actually found the perfect record label in Golden Robot Records — they actually get 'it' as far as what HOOKERS & BLOW is all about, so we are tracking an album of some of our favorite tunes, with some of our favorite people and just having fun with it. We can't wait to share some of what we have planned for this thing."

HOOKERS & BLOW's album is being produced by Alistair James, who recently worked with Joe Perry, Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp on the latest HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES disc.

In 2013, HOOKERS & BLOW hosted two back-to-back residencies at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood and in 2018 celebrated its 15th anniversary with two extensive tours, headlining a 25-city "Holiday Hangover" run, as well as supporting THE DEAD DAISIES on their first headline trek of North America.

Over the past 15 years, HOOKERS & BLOW's touring members have included Todd Kerns (SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS), Chip Z'Nuff (ENUFF Z' NUFF), Mike Dupke (W.A.S.P.), Scott Griffin (L.A. GUNS) and comedian Don Jamieson of VH1's "That Metal Show", among others.

In addition to Reed and Grossi, HOOKERS & BLOW's current lineup includes Johnny Kelly (TYPE O NEGATIVE, DANZIG), Robbie Crane (BLACK STAR RIDERS) and Nadja Reed.

LYNCH MOB - Live Footage From ABC In Concert In 1991 Resurfaces

Lynch Mob has just uploaded footage from their 1991 appearance on the ABC In Concert television show. Check out George Lynch and co. performing "River Of Love" and "All I Want" from their 1990 debut album, Wicked Sensation.

During a recent interview with MA Entertainment Global, drummer Brian Tichy revealed that Lynch Mob - also featuring ex-Dokken guitarist George Lynch and vocalist Oni Logan - are in the process of re-recording the band's debut album, Wicked Sensation, to celebrate its 30th Anniversary.

Tichy: "I've been playing this year with George Lynch and his Lynch Mob band, and we had tour dates being added pretty consistently. We just started up in February. It's the 30th-anniversary tour of his first record, and we're playing the record in its entirety. And we're doing a re-record of the whole first record, sort of a revisioned, reimagined take on that first record, Wicked Sensation. Which we're doing now — now we're just moving faster on that."

Tichy has been a member of Lynch Mob on-and-off since joining in 2010, leaving and returning between 2012–2013, 2015 and 2020. The current line-up features Lynch, Logan, Tichy and Black Star Riders bassist Robert Crane.

METALLICA: Pro-Shot Footage Of 'The God That Failed' Performance From Madrid

Professionally filmed video footage of METALLICA performing the song "The God That Failed" on May 3 at Valdebebas in Madrid, Spain can be seen below.

METALLICA's "WorldWired" tour has played more than 130 shows across the world since its 2016 kick-off.

Last November, drummer Lars Ulrich told The Mercury News that the trek could last through early 2020.

The San Francisco Bay Area metal giants have been touring in support of their latest album, "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct", which came out in November 2016.

With dates already locked in through the fall, Ulrich was asked if he is tired of touring yet. He replied: "We have the luxury, and we are very fortunate, to be able to set a touring schedule that works really well for us. We kind of set boundaries. We have a two-week rule, so that after two weeks we come home and see our families and kids and get a sense of San Francisco. So, for about a decade, we've had a really good setup in terms of how we balance all of it. It takes longer to play the same amount of dates. But the good news is that our chances for not losing our minds — or for playing all the shows, physically, mentally — are much higher, because we have a pace that we feel is at the right level for us. So, it's good. We still have to go to Australia. We still have to go to Japan. We have a couple of other things planned after Europe."

Pressed about whether there is any chance the tour will reach into 2020, Lars said: "This may just dip into the beginning of 2020."

See TESLA Perform 'Lazy Days' While In Quarantine

While practicing social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sacramento rockers TESLA got together — virtually — to jam out a quarantined version of "Lazy Days" to kick off to their new online series, "Home To Home". Check it out below.

The original recording of "Lazy Days" appeared on TESLA's 1989 album "The Great Radio Controversy".

TESLA has spent most of the last year touring in support of its latest album, "Shock", which was released in March 2019 via UMe. The follow-up to 2014's "Simplicity" was produced by DEF LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen.

TESLA bassist Brian Wheat admitted to SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation" that "Shock" divided the band's fans due to its lighter, pop-like sound, with some blaming its direction on Collen, who co-wrote many of its tracks. The disc was recorded piecemeal while TESLA was on tour with DEF LEPPARD, with some of the tracking taking place in backstage areas and hotel room lobbies.

"Some people hate it, some people love it," Wheat said. "I tell you, after five weeks, six weeks, it's leaning more toward, 'You know, it had to grow on me. I'm actually enjoying it now.' That's the thing, that's why we called it 'Shock'. We knew it was going to shock people. The other thing is, we couldn't just continue to do the same record over and over and over again, so we tried something different. It's cool. The songs go down well live, I see people singing, our fans are in there singing 'Shock', singing 'Taste Like', singing '[Tied To The] Tracks', singing 'Take Me Alive'. It's cool. Look, after so many years, I'm glad we're able to make another record because not the first on everyone's agenda anymore."

Collen previously co-wrote and produced the TESLA song "Save That Goodness", which was released in August 2016 and included on the "Mechanical Resonance Live!" album.

TESLA released "Five Man London Jam" on March 27 on Blu-ray, 2LP vinyl, CD and digital via Ume. The recording celebrates the 30th anniversary of TESLA's landmark "Five Man Acoustical Jam" album.

TESLA's current lineup includes four of the five original members: Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (guitars), Wheat and Troy Luccketta (drums). Guitarist Dave Rude joined in 2006 as the replacement for Tommy Skeoch.
