Filmed as part of David Lynch's inaugural Festival Of Disruption, one of Los Angeles's most anticipated cultural events, this concert took place at the Ace Hotel Theatre in October 2016, raising funds for the David Lynch Foundation.
Performing with SENSATIONAL SPACE SHIFTERS since 2012, Robert Plant continues to shift the musical goalposts, blurring the lines between rock, blues, folk and world music and finding new life in exotic beats and African rhythms.

"We grew up listening to 'Immigrant Song' as it was always a classic favorite of our mom and we’ve have wanted to cover it for a long time," says the twins. "Soul On Fire", the new video from veteran Japanese metallers LOUDNESS, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's new album, "Rise To Glory", which is being released today (Friday, January 26) via earMUSIC (world excluding Japan). The follow-up to 2014's "The Sun Will Rise Again" is "packed with aggression, melody and positive vibes," according to a press release.
LOUDNESS vocalist Minoru Niihara says: "The album cheers you up, makes you feel fresh."
From the rock maelstrom of "Massive Tornado" to the young burning passion of "Soul On Fire", the life-glorifying "I'm Still Alive" and the declaration of metal warfare of "Rise To Glory", all the songs are fitting for the age of turmoil.
The guitar wizardry of Akira Takasaki, hailed around the world as one of the true guitar gods, is featured throughout the album. He says: "I played lots of guitars, more than any other albums this century. There was soul in the sounds." In addition to guitar solos on each song, there is amazing playing on the instrumental track, leaning towards the progressive side of the band.
Along with the hurtling speed tunes such as "Massive Tornado", "No Limit" and "Rise To Glory", the variety of songwriting takes the listener to an amazing journey. "Rain" has the melancholic mood, "Until I See The Light" focuses on the melodic side of the band, and "Let's All Rock" has a heated call-and-response with the audience to recreate their live performance.

LOUDNESS has released twenty-seven studio albums, six of them in the U.S. The band's lineup has changed multiple times since 1981, with the current incarnation consisting of three original members — lead singer Minoru Niihara, guitarist Akira Takasaki and bassist Masayoshi Yamashita — along with drummer Masayuki Suzuki, who joined the group in 2009.
Original LOUDNESS drummer Munetaka Higuchi died in 2008 after a year-long battle with liver cancer.
LOUDNESS released a special 30th-anniversary edition of its classic "Thunder In The East" album in Japan in November 2015 in several different versions, featuring demo recordings, bonus DVDs with live footage from their 1985 U.S. tour, a documentary about the making of the LP and other things.

THREE DAYS GRACE, the internationally acclaimed and multi-platinum certified Canadian band with over a billion streams on Spotify, will release its new album, "Outsider", on March 9 via RCA. "Outsider" is the sixth full-length album from the band, and is the group's first since 2015's "Human".
"To me, 'Outsider' represents the journey to find your place," says bass player Brad Walst. "The world feels crazy at times. We try to get away from that every once in a while. We do our own thing, and we're comfortable doing it. We have always looked forward — and not backwards. That's an ongoing theme."
This morning, THREE DAYS GRACE debuts the music video for "The Mountain". Taped at a UFC octagon, the music video for "Outsider"'s first single was directed by Sean Cartwright, and features a cameo by UFC fighter Misha Cirkunov.
Forging a new path forward is exactly what the musicians did in the fall of 2016. Instead of congregating in a downtown Toronto rehearsal space, the band which consists of Matt Walst (lead vocals), Barry Stock (lead guitar), Brad Walst (bass) and Neil Sanderson (drums, percussion, keyboards, programming), initially wrote in a converted garage behind Brad's house located two hours from the city.
"This is all about taking a step back from life's madness without destroying yourself, cutting everyone off, or going crazy," says Neil. "You get a break and find the space to create." Eventually, the band retreated to Neil's 90-acre farm to further hone ideas, and often sat around bonfires with acoustic guitars, tapping into the wild spirit surrounding them. As the songs took shape, the band headed to the Ontario's remote Jukasa Studios, and called upon longtime friends and collaborators including producers Gavin Brown and Howard Benso, engineer Mike Plotnikoff and Chris Lord-Alge on mixing duties, for an album that speaks directly to their army of fans from around the globe. "That production team hasn't happened since 'One-X'," adds Neil. "We were lucky to get this group together. It made sense because we were in a similar headspace."
As much as it upholds tradition, "Outsider" represents progression for THREE DAYS GRACE. Marking his second offering as part of the band, Matt showed "a new level of confidence and brought a ton of ideas," according to his brother Brad. Meanwhile, Neil expanded the signature electronic palette, integrating analog synths and standout programming with the help of Rhys Fulber (FEAR FACTORY, FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY). He casually nodded to electronic influences as diverse as NINE INCH NAILS, WHITE ZOMBIE, BRING ME THE HORIZON, Lana Del Rey, and a surprising cult classic, the movie "Lost Boys". First single "The Mountain" evinces that evolution. Those cinematic sonic flourishes augment arena-ready riffs before summiting towards a seismic refrain, "I'm still surviving, keep climbing, keep climbing the mountain."
Given this undeniable unpredictability, "Outsider" feels right at home alongside a catalog of fan favorites from THREE DAYS GRACE. Since 2003, the band has staked a spot amongst the hard rock vanguard, breaking records, toppling charts, moving millions of units worldwide, and making history by holding the all-time record for "most #1 singles at Active Rock Radio ever" with 13. In 2015, "Human" marked the group's second straight #1 slot on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart as well as their fourth consecutive debut in Top 20 of the Top 200. Atlanta’s finest, Whores., have released a new music video for their track "Mental Illness As A Mating Ritual" today from their latest LP, Gold. Directed by Shane Harrington, this is the second music video we've seen from the trio.
The band is also announcing a new batch of dates in April co-headlining with Helms Alee with Bummer supporting. "We are so excited to announce our upcoming spring West Coast Tour with our friends in Helms Alee and Bummer!," says Whores. frontman Christian Lembach. Whores. released Gold. on October 28th, 2016 via Entertainment One (eOne), the first for their new label home. Gold. is available overseas via SPV. The debut LP was recorded at Parhelion Studios with producer Ryan Boesch (Helmet, Fu Manchu, Melvins).
Gold. is the follow up to the highly buzzed about EP Clean (2013), which was widely cheered by critics. Also recorded by Boesch, the record sold out within a month, prompting the band to quickly release the second pressing. Clean is now on its sixth pressing.

Richie Kotzen has released the official music video for a new song called "The Damned". The clip, which was shot at Paramount Ranch by director Vicente Cordero, can be seen below.
"Now that I'm off the road, I've been writing and recording quite a bit," Kotzen told Guitar Player. "This time around, the main difference is that I'm using my live band [bassist Dylan Wilson and drummer Mike Bennett] in the studio. We have been a live band for about seven years now, but we really have not done much studio recording together. Rather than wait until all the music is recorded and release an album, I decided to release a series of singles. Maybe it will lead to a full album, maybe not."
Kotzen's latest solo album, "Salting Earth", was released in April 2017 via his own custom label, Headroom-Inc.
Last year, Richie told "The Classic Metal Show" that THE WINERY DOGS, his power trio with drummer Mike Portnoy (DREAM THEATER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, ADRENALINE MOB) and legendary bassist Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG, TALAS, DAVID LEE ROTH) was still a going concern. "By no means is it dead — none of us ever said that," he explained. "I know what I said was that the DOGS are sleeping right now. I'm working on my thing, which I've always done — I'm back to doing what I've done my whole life and I'll continue to do that. But at some point, I can easily see us reconnecting and making another record.
"I don't really know where the notion came, 'Oh, the band's over' and all that sort of thing," he continued. "But, like I said, I keep all doors open. I know that Billy [recorded] another MR. BIG record and Mike's always doing something cool and interesting. So once I get done with my album cycle and those guys get done doing what they're doing, I'm sure we'll meet up again and talk about the future of the band."

The band comments on the new video: "'Catacombs' describes the attempt to escape a psychological dead end. Imprinting, education and religion are the possible causes of this dark aberration, so the lyrics of this tune are quite gloomy and kinda fit into the present time where a lot of people have to deal with depression, fear or mental problems. Musically, 'Catacombs' is a classical Accuser thrash anthem with taughtly riffs, a chorus you can scream your lungs out to and some really intense solos."
Accuser has been in a constant songwriting mode all over the past year. Combined with the energy and spontaneity from several live shows, the songs came together very quickly. Together with long time producer Martin Buchwalter, they put together the record in the summer of 2017 at well known Gernhart Studio (Destruction, Tankard and many more).
For the band, The Mastery is some kind of missing link between the technical virtuosity of an album like Who Dominates Who and the more basic, heavy approach of Repent. The Mastery contains all of the elements that define the Accuser sound: heavy, chunky thrash riffs, aggressive vocals with a touch of melody - in addition to the high class guitar solos by youngster Dennis Rybakowski. When it comes to the lyrical side of their songs, Accuser still raises their voices to denounce social grievances.

The 'War You Started' music video is different from my others. It's the first music video I have shot with my touring band. We had so much fun during the video shoot. We actually made the video in Atlanta right between our US and UK/Eruopean tours. The music video was directed and edited by guitarist Gogi Randhawa. It was cool to have a band member direct and be in the video at the same time. "The Story Of My Life", the new video from JOSH TODD & THE CONFLICT, the band featuring singer Josh Todd and guitarist Stevie Dacanay (a.k.a. Stevie D.) of BUCKCHERRY, can be seen below. The clip was shot in Los Angeles by director Billy Jayne. The song is taken from JOSH TODD & THE CONFLICT's debut album, "Year Of The Tiger", which was released last September via Century Media.
"Year Of The Tiger" was co-produced by Dacanay and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS drummer Eric Kretz.
Regarding the motivation to start this new project, Josh said: "I have a lot of story telling in me and I always wanted to start another band. Something more reckless and off-the-beaten rock path.
"A lot of changes had taken place in BUCKCHERRY and I didn't want to go another year without making new music.

"A Gift For The Obsessed" is THE ABSENCE's first full-length since 2010's acclaimed "Enemy Unbound" (Metal Blade Records), and is the first to feature their current lineup. Led by founding members Stewart and Jeramie Kling (drums) along with longtime bass player Mike Leon (SOULFLY, HAVOK, ARSIS), the group now features the high-flying guitar work of Joey Concepcion (JASTA, ARMAGEDDON) and Taylor Nordberg (SOILWORK, RIBSPREADER), who made their debut on the band's independently released digital single "Septic Testament" in 2016.
"Septic Testament" is one of 10 tracks on the band's new album, the LP edition of which will feature red/black haze colored vinyl, a heavyweight 24-pt. jacket, a color lyric sheet and a download card. The record also includes a cover of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES' "You Can't Bring Me Down" that features guest vocals by Björn "Speed" Strid (SOILWORK, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA).
"A Gift for The Obsessed" was mixed by David Castillo at Sweden's Ghost Ward Studio (KATATONIA, OPETH) and mastered by Thomas "Plec" Johansson at The Panic Room (WATAIN, SCAR SYMMETRY), while the cover was created by Russian artist Stray Child.
On the new album and the making of the music video, Leon said: "The album turned out even more killer than we could have expected. The video shoot for 'A Gift For The Obsessed' was a blast as well. We shot it at Bay Stage Live here in Tampa, where Taylor and I work, with Jeramie's wife Deidra Kling handling most of the camera duties, and we had Tommy Jones (SLAYER, DEATH ANGEL) supply his editing wizardry!"
