With members of Alestorm, Heaven Shall Burn and Lifeforce Records' very own When Our Time Comes, All But One have a brand new message to deliver. Their powerhouse debut album tastefully fuses the worlds of pop and metal music, combining accomplished melody with masterful guitar and fearsome breakdowns.
All But One was born as a passion project of Alestorm guitarist Máté Bodor. After catching the attention of an elite group of likeminded musicians, what began as a side project evolved into what will undoubtably become a formidable force in the rock music industry.
All But One are a product of professionalism, uncompromising passion and an unstoppable hunger to succeed.
Belgium’s Evil Invaders will release their new album, Feed Me Violence, worldwide on September 29th via Napalm Records. The band have released a video for the new song, “Mental Penitentiary”, available for streaming below.
Vocalist/guitarist Joe commented on the track: “One of the faster songs on the record and definitely one of the coolest tracks we've written so far! Pretty intense lyrics, which are definitely worth checking out! The mid tempo part in the middle gives a nice contrast with the fast shit that's happening before and after. Making this video was compulsive endless lunacy! Fortunately only the camera guy got injured...”
Feed Me Violence will be available as regular jewel case edition, a 1LP gatefold edition, and digitally. Pre-order will be available shortly.

California death metal merchants, Carnifex, have released a live video for "Dark Heart Ceremony”, from last year's Slow Death ahead of Warped Tour. The band will spend the entire summer performing as part of the annual festival and this clip demonstrates the type of live fury with which the band takes the stage. It is certainly a taste of what's to come this summer. You've been warned.
"The stage is where everything about our music comes to life," said vocalist Scott Ian Lewis about the clip. "The love, the hate, the pain, everything is on display. This video captures those moments both on stage and in the crowd and so much more."
The footage in this live clip was shot by Enlighten, a creative studio, at The Glasshouse in Pomona, California.
The band’s live itinerary can be found at this location.
Southern California progressive blackened death metal outfit WITCH CASKET has released the video for "Hatred Index", the title track of its upcoming album. The clip was filmed in Los Angeles with director Matt Eskew. WITCH CASKET lead vocalist Drogoth said: "We wanted to do something fairly simple for our first video with footage of the band performing. This is to give people a look into how the band presents itself and what to expect when seeing the band performing in a live setting. The next video that's currently in production will be a much more cinematic endeavor."
"Hatred Index" is the second song to be made available by WITCH CASKET, following the release of a lyric video for the track "That Damn Devil" earlier this year. The "Hatred Index" album will be released in late 2017.
WITCH CASKET was formed in 2013 when ex-SOTHIS guitarist Colin "Nylock" Cameron and guitarist Neal Tiemann started working on writing songs together in Nylock's Los Angeles studio. Once a majority of the songs had been written, ex-SOTHIS vocalist Adam "Drogoth" McCarthy was brought on to handle writing lyrics and recording vocals.
Originally formed simply as a studio project, all musical instrumentation was composed and executed by both Nylock and Tiemann. The album in its entirety was also produced; engineered, and mixed by Nylock himself in both his personal Hollywood studio and Los Angeles-based Unfriendly Studios where he is the lead engineer and co-founder, along with Metal Sanaz. The album was completed with this lineup. However, towards the end of the recording process, Tiemann departed the project to focus on writing for and touring with established SoCal metal band DEVILDRIVER. As completion of the "Hatred Index" album approached, live rehearsals were started with the addition of ex-SOTHIS guitarist Robert "Scathe" Enriquez and drummer Kaspars Lucey-Grinbergs.
"This Is The Moment", the new video from Sweden's KRYPTONITE, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's self-titled debut album, which will be released on August 4 via Frontiers Music Srl. Sometimes musicians are put together who only know each other from afar via their respective recordings, but something clicks and triggers a magical moment. That's exactly what happened when Jakob Samuel from THE POODLES met up with producer Alessandro Del Vecchio on the heels of a concept created by Frontiers president Serafino Perugino. Together, they set off to work on a new band that could offer lyrical concepts that are deep and intelligent with music that operates within the genres they excel in. And most importantly, has a great energy and impact. Samuel, Del Vecchio and Perugino handpicked each musician to be part of their vision for a strong lineup of young and hungry Swedish musicians that would be ready to go out there and kick some ass. Pontus Egberg, formerly of THE POODLES and now the bass player for KING DIAMOND and TREAT, was the first one to enter the picture, followed shortly thereafter by Robban Back of MUSTASCH (and ex-ECLIPSE). The choice of guitar player fell to the young and immensely gifted Mike Palace. Mike showed his huge talents as a writer and performer on his band Palace's debut album and on several songs he has already written for the label. The recording and writing sessions flowed freely and the songs came naturally. This band will truly set a standard for what fans perceive as melodic hard rock in today's climate. It is classic, but modern at the same time, groovy and cool.
Steven Wilson has released a video for the track “Song Of I”, featured on his upcoming fifth album, To The Bone. The clip, featuring Sophie Hunger, is available for streaming below.
To The Bone is a gloriously dynamic modernist pop record as imagined by the UK's biggest underground artist. The album releases on August 18th. Pre-orders are live at this location.
Fusing driving futurist rock and spectral electronics to elegiac hyper-space ambience and dizzying, squalling guitars, To The Bone is Steven Wilson's hat-tip to the hugely ambitious progressive pop records of his youth (think Peter Gabriel's So, Talk Talk's Colour Of Spring, Tears For Fears' Seeds Of Love).
Lyrically, the album's 11 tracks veer from the paranoid chaos of the post-truth era and the creeping self-loathing of the technology age to steely fly-on-the-wall observations of the everyday lives of religious fundamentalists with a welcome shot or two of wide-eyed escapism. Sonically and melodically stunning, To The Bone is a high definition snapshot of the disconcerting times we live in.
The follow up to 2015’s Hand. Cannot. Erase., To The Bone is Steven Wilson’s first album since signing with Caroline International (Iggy Pop, Underworld, Thurston Moore, Glass Animals).
Formerly the founder and mainstay of outsider rock band Porcupine Tree, Steven released his first record under his own name, Insurgentes, in 2008. He has been resolutely independent throughout a three-decade career that’s made him the most successful British artist you've never heard of.

The new animated video for the song "Black Rose" from Danish/American rock 'n' rollers VOLBEAT can be seen below. The clip was produced and directed by Toon53 Productions.
"Black Rose" is taken from VOLBEAT's sixth full-length album, "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie", which was released in June 2016 via Republic Records.
VOLBEAT guitarist Rob Caggiano told TeamRock about "Black Rose": "This song features Danko Jones and he's a good friend of the band; we love what he does and he loves what VOLBEAT do. We took him on tour on the last album cycle and it was great. He's such a cool dude, and he's a huge music nerd like we are. He's awesome. So we were working on this song 'Black Rose', and Michael [Poulsen, VOLBEAT frontman] was singing the verse part, and he was, like, 'Maybe Danko Jones could sing on this one. It sounds like something that he would do.' And it totally does! We could almost hear it before it even happened. When we approached him about doing it, he was totally psyched, and he completely nailed it."
Poulsen explained the story behind the "Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie" album title. He said: "When I write, I'm pretty much locked into this bubble. And sometimes when I come out, I have no idea where I've been or where I got the idea from. And going back to where I came up with the title, I really don't remember. I think it popped up when I was writing the song called 'Seal The Deal' and things just popped up improvising, and I said, 'Well…that sounds pretty good.' And I pretty much used that title on every song somehow, because you can analyze the title in many different directions. So I think I came up with the title when I was writing the song 'Seal The Deal'."
Asked how VOLBEAT deals with the fact that fans sometimes worry that each new album from the band is going to be softer than the previous one, Michael told Studio Brussel: "We don't. [Laughs] We do what we do, and we love what we're doing. And we're just progressing as a band. Sometimes people think the next record is too heavy or too soft. It depends on which ears are listening to it. We don't care too much about it. We are VOLBEAT and we found our signature sound and style on the first record. And there's a lot of new songs that could be on the first record, but then again, we're also progressing as a band, so maybe some of the songs are a little bit more soft, but there will always be metal influences and… We don't care too much about it. We just like to write songs and be on the road. We would never like to be on the road if we didn't care about what we were doing. So who knows? Maybe the next record will be an extreme metal album. It really depends on where you are when you sit down and write. So we don't think too much about it."
"Song On Fire", the new video from NICKELBACK, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's ninth album, "Feed The Machine", which will be released on Friday, June 16 via BMG.
NICKELBACK leader Chad Kroeger told Music Choice about "Feed The Machine": "This album is definitely heavier, as a whole, than a lot of our previous records. We've gone back to some pretty crunchy roots, and we're happy about that. I mean, we're always stretching off in different directions and trying different things, but we definitely went with more of an aggressive sound on this record."
"Feed The Machine" track listing:
01. Feed The Machine02. Coin For The Ferryman03. Song On Fire04. Must Be Nice05. After The Rain06. For The River07. Home08. The Betrayal (Act III)09. Silent Majority10. Every Time We're Together11. The Betrayal (Act I)
Set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic future where machines have imprisoned humans (think "The Matrix" and "The Terminator"), the video for the "Feed The Machine" title track sees Kroeger and his bandmates depicted as freedom-fighting revolutionaries who free the enslaved humans from their machine captors.
NICKELBACK is set to hit the road this summer on the colossal headlining "Feed The Machine" tour. Produced exclusively by Live Nation, the "Feed The Machine" trek will begin on June 23 in Noblesville, Indiana, with 44 dates across North America including stops in Detroit, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, and more. DAUGHTRY will join NICKELBACK as their special guest for all of the U.S. dates, as well as Toronto and Montreal, while SHAMAN'S HARVEST will be seen on all dates. Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame icons CHEAP TRICK will be special guests for the western Canadian leg of the tour.
In June 2015, NICKELBACK canceled the majority of its tour dates in support of the band's eighth album, "No Fixed Address", so that Kroeger could recover from surgery to remove a cyst on his vocal cords.
"No Fixed Address" debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 album chart in November 2014.
Maryland-based rockers LIONIZE will release their new full-length studio album, "Nuclear Soul", on September 8 in digital, CD and LP formats. The video for the first single, "Blindness To Danger", can be seen below.
"Nuclear Soul" follows the band's widely praised 2014 album, "Jetpack Soundtrack", and continues their ever-maturing sound. It's emotionally driven and steeped in introspection, with subjects ranging from the end of times to heart break within the industry. Recorded locally in Maryland, production has been handled by CLUTCH's Jean-Paul Gaster with J. Robbins and LIONIZE.
About the song's meaning, LIONIZE bassist Hank Upton explains: "So much of our career as a band has been following our instincts and running headlong into the unknown with no regard for how insane a tour/show/song idea might be. I feel like that passion and willingness to take a risk has gotten us very far. Naturally, though, you're walking a tightrope. Same goes for your personal life with romance or substances, etc. Passion and heart will take you everywhere but where's the line? I was trying to investigate that feeling."
The video for "Blindness To Danger" toes that exact line, pinning LIONIZE's Nate Bergman against pro-wrestler The Almighty Sheik. Shot entirely on an Apple iPhone 7 with the Moment Wide and Tele lenses, video director Miguel "M.i.G." Martinez chose this intimate format to show his young students that they don't need expensive equipment to create a music video/film. "Nuclear Soul" track listing

Leading up to the album release, LIONIZE — consisting of Chris Brooks (keyboards), Hank Upton (bass), Chase Lapp (drums) and Nate Bergman (guitar) — will tour this summer throughout the U.S. and U.K.
"Light" is the first track off Helfir’s sophomore album, The Human Defeat. It’s presented with an intimate video directed and edited by photographer Antonio Leo (who realized the artwork for the album’s 20-page booklet) with the collaboration of Shotalive group.
The Human Defeat will be released on June 30th via My Kingdom Music. You'll hear something really direct, decadent and obscure. Pre-order the album at this location, or digitally via iTunes.

Available for streaming below is the music video for “Break The Chains”, the first single from Damn Freaks, featuring Tygers Of Pan Tang singer Jack Meile.
Jack Meile says, “”Break The Chains” was one of the first song I listened to form the album and it reminded me of the early '80 US metal. I was, and still am, a huge fan of Dokken and Van Halen and I was definitely inspired by that when doing the vocals for this track.”
"I like songs based on a strong riff,” adds Damn Freaks guitarist Marco Torri. “Songs like “Ain't Talking About Love”… it's pure energy, it's like a steaming train rolling at full speed on the trails... for me that's what a hard rock song should be all about!"
"Break The Chains" is the first single from the upcoming debut album Damn Freaks, released worldwide via Mighty Music on August 11th on CD and digital. The album was recorded in their home town Florence in Tuscany, Italy, and mixed and mastered by Harry Hess from Harem Scarem fame.
Damn Freaks are:
Matteo Panichi - drums
Marco Torri - electric and acoustic guitars
Iacopo “Jack” Meille - lead and backing vocals
Claudio Rogai - bass
Wayward Sons’ debut album, Ghosts Of Yet To Come, will be released on September 15th. The band is set to release four videos to support single releases. The videos together will make one short film. You can see the first video, for debut single “Until The End”, below.
Wayward Sons is a UK guitar act made up of Toby Jepson (vocals, guitar), Sam Wood (guitar), Nic Wastell (bass), Dave Kemp (keys) and Phil Martini (drums). They have an impressive resume of groups they have previously worked with - Little Angels, Gun, Spear Of Destiny, Treason Kings and Chrome Molly to name a few - which is reassuring in terms of the band as players, but doesn’t really hint at their sound. Wayward Sons sound nothing like the sum of their parts. The music is hard rock but mixed with a vitality and energy - both musically and lyrically.
Ghosts Of Yet To Come is a hugely accomplished debut album - as might be expected. From the staccato riffing of “Give It Away” to the melodic intro of first single “Until The End”, from the hard rock of “Ghosts” to 4/4 rock of “Don’t Wanna Go”, the album sounds familiar yet of its own. Toby Jepson had the basis of songs written when the band formed. Together they then took these rough song ideas and forged their own sound. Lyrically the album sees Jepson treading a far more personal line than some of his previous output.
“I feel I have unfinished business, stories still left to tell, points to make, noise to create, all of the above... besides, it wasn't a choice, more of a need. My intention is very simple. I want to write about what makes me tick; about what I believe in. Hopefully you will believe in it too. It will be warts and all,” says Jepson.
The album was produced by Wayward Sons (Toby Jepson’s previous credits as a songwriter and producer include the likes of Katie Melua, The Virgin Marys, The Answer and Toseland) and Chris D’Adda (Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds).
Wayward Sons have a series of dates through 2017, with more to follow.

German progressive power metal pioneers BLIND GUARDIAN will release a new concert album titled "Live Beyond The Spheres" on July 7 as a 3-CD and 4-LP box via Nuclear Blast. The set will include material recorded at various shows during the band's European tour in 2015. It will contain old classics, new tracks as well as songs that were very rarely performed during BLIND GUARDIAN's live shows.
BLIND GUARDIAN guitarist André Olbrich reveals why the time is right to release "Live Beyond The Spheres": "There's several different reasons why it's about time to release a live album. We've had a new rhythm section in the band — Frederik and Bahrend — for a couple of years now. Our interaction improved a lot by their joining and our songs developed a better groove and became more dynamic. The appearance of digital amp profilers and digital recording techniques also made it possible to create a fairly similar sonic image in different venues and to fulfil our image of what a perfect live album should be. Last but not least, we released three studio albums since our previous live album, and we didn't have any live recordings from our relatively current studio material. By compiling a three-disc package, we were able to create a very extensive and varied set list to reflect our thirty-year career with an optimal performances.
"We compiled one 'show' out of the best tracks from more than forty live performances, recorded during our European tour in 2015. That's how we pinned down the most beautiful and atmospheric moments on this medium," he adds.
The official video for the song "Prophecies", taken from "Live Beyond The Spheres", can be seen below. BLIND GUARDIAN vocalist Hansi Kürsch speaks about the difficulties to create such an ambitious album: "In general, I would say that we've had a really good run on this tour and that nearly every show was perfect. But at the end of the day, after every bandmember has checked each and every song and concert of those 30 shows again and again. There were only like two or three versions of each song being suitable to be used for an album. We then had to decide between those last remaining versions, which would have been the most impressive one. This was a nearly endless task!"
He continues: "The songs finally chosen reveal such an energy that poissible smaller mistakes appeared to be totally unimportant for the evaluation. As soon as you have listened to the songs, you will know what I mean. They feel alive."
But the end result is well worth the effort. Hansi sums it up: "There is always something happening at each show, let's call it 'magic,' that is giving us all creeps. We are really satisfied when the people sing with us, have a good time and go back home happy."

"Reload", the new video from PROJECTED, the band featuring SEVENDUST members John Connolly (guitar) and Vince Hornsby (bass) alongside ALTER BRIDGE/CREED drummer Scott Phillips and guitarist/vocalist Eric Friedman (a.k.a. E-Rock; TREMONTI), can be seen below. The clip was produced, directed and edited by Jamie Brown for Smoking Gun Productions.
"Reload" is taken from PROJECTED's sophomore album,"Ignite My Insanity", which will be released on July 21 via Rat Pak Records. The two-disc collection is currently available for pre-order in various configurations at this location.
The follow-up to 2012's "Human", "Ignite My Insanity" features twenty-one all-new tracks from PROJECTED and continues to build upon the sound the band established with its debut. It is an album designed to resonate with fans from the members' original projects and guaranteed to garner new fans along the way. From the melodic piano interlude of the opener "Strike" to the raucous ending of closer "Battlestations", the new album takes the listener on a journey inside the minds of the band. Songs like "Six Feet Below", "Gomorrah", "Inhuman" and "Upside Down" are infectious rockers. The first single, "Reload", is a frenetic composition that showcases the musicianship of these accomplished performers. ALTER BRIDGE/TREMONTI songwriter Mark Tremonti co-wrote "Rectify" and "Call Me The Devil" and SEVENDUST's Morgan Rose co-wrote "Concede" with PROJECTED. On the subject of PROJECTED's new record, Connolly comments: "There are four very strong personalities in this band. Everyone has been in the business doing various things, from ALTER BRIDGE to CREED to SEVENDUST to TREMONTI, and it took all those elements and sounds to make this album what it is!" Phillips adds: "We're all part of other bands that we've put our heart and soul and life into and this was just a chance to extend that into somewhat of a different direction." Friedman comments: "When I think PROJECTED, the first words that come to my mind is a very raw and honest band. Things aren't overthought. It's very organic." Hornsby says: "We've been playing so long together, you know it's kinda like a marriage to a certain degree. It really warms my heart to be able to play with my friends and these great musicians."

VENOM INC., the new band featuring original VENOM members Jeff "Mantas" Dunn (guitar) and Anthony "Abaddon" Bray (drums) alongside ex-VENOM bassist/vocalist Tony "Demolition Man" Dolan, will release its debut album, titled "Avé", on August 11 via Nuclear Blast. The official video for the disc's first single, "Dein Fleisch", can be seen below. VENOM INC. was born during an impromptu live set at 2015's Keep it True festival in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. The onstage reunion was a rousing success amongst VENOM fans and music industry personnel alike, and although it was originally only set up for fun, Dolan began receiving numerous show offers for VENOM INC. from booking agents around the world. What started as a live set to celebrate VENOM's legacy immediately turned into a serious reunion discussion. While unexpected at the outset, the end result of this reunion is an album that true VENOM fans will gladly add to the top of their playlists. Dolan says: "We tried to shape 'Avé' so that it comes at you dark, then it gets bright and heavy and just keeps growing into some kind of monster." "Avé" track listing:
01. Ave Satanas 02. Forged In Hell 03. Metal We Bleed 04. Dein Fleisch 05. Blood Stained 06. Time To Die 07. The Evil Dead 08. Preacher Man 09. War 10. I Kneel To No God 11. Black N Roll Going in to writing "Avé", VENOM INC. realized their live performance was the key to creating an album that would be a metal classic. It was clear that any songs the trio came up with had to have the intensity, the honesty and the aggression that was happening for VENOM INC. in a live situation. Simply put, they needed to translate what they do on stage onto a record. Not once did they look back on the VENOM catalogue and think, "We have to write another 'Black Metal' or another 'Schizo'..." The focus is on VENOM INC. and everything the rejuvenated three-piece do in the here and now. Dolan adds: "Expect 100% pure, honest, solid, hard, dark, thought-provoking metal... like it was, is and forever shall be. Classic old-school, but with the ferocity and energy that we display in our live show. We are proud of this album and our new home at Nuclear Blast, as well as our whole team — management, PR, agents, sponsors and most of all, YOU. Thank you! See you somewhere on this blood-stained Earth!" VENOM INC. will kick off the "Blood Stained Earth" headline tour, featuring support from GOATWHORE, TOXIC HOLOCAUST and THE CONVALESCENCE, on September 1. In addition to the tour, VENOM INC. is set to perform dates in Europe throughout 2017, including stops at MetalDays, Heavy Metal Cauldron and others. The band will perform classic VENOM songs and new tracks.
VENOM INC. is not to be confused with the Conrad "Cronos" Lant-fronted version of VENOM, which is continuing to tour and make albums under the VENOM moniker. Joining Cronos in that group are Rage (a.k.a. Stuart Dixon) on guitar and Danté (a.k.a. Danny Needham) on drums.
Dunn, Bray and Dolan released three albums as VENOM between 1989 and 1992 — "Prime Evil" (1989), "Temples Of Ice" (1991) and "The Waste Lands" (1992).
The classic lineup of VENOM — Lant, Dunn and Bray — is often credited with kickstarting the whole black metal movement, but is more accurately seen an early example of extreme metal.
VENOM's second album, 1982's "Black Metal", was a major influence on on the early Norwegian black metal scene.
AVENGED SEVENFOLD has released its cover version of "Malagueña Salerosa" — also known as "La Malagueña" — a well-known son huasteco or huapango song from Mexico, which has been covered more than two hundred times by various recording artists.
The song's lyrics were written about a man telling a woman (from Málaga, Spain) how beautiful she is, and how he would love to be her man, but that he understands her rejecting him for being too poor.
The official video for AVENGED SEVENFOLD's version of "Malagueña Salerosa" can be seen below. The clip was directed by Rafa Alcantara and produced by TWENTYFOURCORE.
"Malagueña Salerosa" is the first new AVENGED SEVENFOLD recording to arrive since the release of the band's seventh album, "The Stage", which was released at the end of October with almost no promotion beforehand.
The surprise release of the disc, which was announced the night it went on sale, earned the lowest sales of an AVENGED album in 11 years. It sold 76,000 copies in its first week, 73,000 of which were physical.
AVENGED SEVENFOLD frontman M. Shadows recently confirmed to Kaytie of the Razor 94.7 radio station that the band will embark on a full North American headlining tour in January and February 2018. The trek, which will be announced after the completion of AVENGED's current stadium run as the support act for METALLICA, was originally "supposed to happen this summer until we got that call from METALLICA, so we decided to put it on hold," the singer explained.
Finnish AOR hopefuls, The Nights, will release their self-titled debut album on August 4th. A video for the album track, “Juliette”, is available for streaming below.
The Nights is a dynamic duo formed by two well known members of the melodic rock scene in Finland. Ilkka Wirtanen handles guitars, production, and songwriting and Sami Hyde is on vocals and handles songwriting duties too.
Both Sami and Ilkka have established careers in music in both Finland and abroad. Sami has been a singer for a variety of acts and projects, including the Tony Mills Band (Shy, TNT) which also included Geoff Nicholls (Black Sabbath) on keyboards and Neil Hibbs (SHY) on guitar. Additionally, he has written songs for many artists, including The Magnificent ("If It Takes All Night", "Lost", and "Drive"). Ilkka Wirtanen is best known for his work as a producer with international acts like glam rockers Reckless Love, for whom he has produced four albums and co-written many of their more well-known songs, including "Hot" and "Night On Fire". He has sat in the producer’s chair for several other rock bands (Baton Rogue Morgue, Hellcity Punks) and has worked as a mixer for international acts (S.E.X. Department).
The band also recently appeared at two exclusive shows supporting Brother Firetribe last April to rave reviews.
With a lineup completed by Jan-Erik Iivari on drums and percussion and Harri Kokkonen on electric, acoustic and fretless bass, The Nights are going to provide the soundtrack to your late summer days.
