"Valley Of Tears", the new video from veteran British metallers TANK, can be seen below. The clip was filmed in the desert hills just outside the town of Mojacar in Southern Spain and the production was handled by MGV Productions.
TANK guitarist Cliff Evans comments: "We didn't want to make the usual low-budget, derelict warehouse-style video that so many bands seem to go for these days, so in order to do the song justice, we decided to find a more interesting location. We contacted Dale Webb at MGV, and he found the ideal backdrop that provided the essential vibe that goes so well with the song. Unusually for this part of Spain, the weather was stormy and overcast but that added a great atmosphere to the performance. The video really captures the raw energy but also the laid-back side of the band. We like nothing better than playing our own brand of rock 'n' roll and drinking beer together!"
Adds TANK guitarist Mick Tucker: "We're so pleased with the amazing response that we've had for our 'Valley Of Tears' album which was released at the end of last year. We wanted to portray the songs visually, so we decided to invest in making a couple of top-quality videos for our fans to enjoy and share the experience of what we're doing. We only had one day to film everything we needed, so it was hard work but we had plenty of cold Estrella beer close to hand to keep us going." Joining Tucker and Evans on "Valley Of Tears" are former DRAGONFORCE and current SKID ROW frontman ZP Theart, who has been a member of TANK's touring lineup for the past three years. Also featured are new recruits Bobby Schottkowski, formerly of SODOM, on drums, and current BLIND GUARDIAN member Barend Courbois on bass.
Regarding the recording process, Evans stated: "Bobby recorded the drum tracks in Germany with his producer, Waldemar Sorychta, whose previous work includes albums for LACUNA COIL, TIAMAT and SODOM, to name but a few. The drums are the backbone of the album and they seriously kick ass! Barend laid down the bass guitar in Holland a couple of days before heading out on a sold-out world tour with German metal legends BLIND GUARDIAN. The guitars were recorded in London under the guidance of producer Phil Kinman who is the master at capturing the sound of a Les Paul through a Marshall amp. No frills. Just awesome power! The album was mastered by Ade Emsley, who undertook the task of remastering the entire IRON MAIDEN catalogue for 24-bit iTunes release."
He added: "The title comes from the famous tank battle during the 1973 Yom Kippur War where one side was massively outnumbered but fought on regardless and against all odds secured a heroic victory.
"We feel that our style of metal is slowly disappearing and now we must also fight against the odds to keep it alive.
"We hope 'Valley Of Tears' will inspire other bands and fans alike to never forget what real metal is all about."
The official video for "Caught Up In The Gears Of Application", the new album from former PANTERA and current DOWN frontman Philip Anselmo's SUPERJOINT RITUAL project — now known simply as SUPERJOINT for legal reasons — can be seen below. The clip was captured at various locations in Louisiana, including the historic district of Old Kenner, the Blue Nile in New Orleans, and the Housecore compound. The clip was directed by Kate Richardson courtesy of Housecore Records, and shot and edited by Mike Holderbeast with production by Carolyn Babauta.
Says Anselmo cryptically: "The video is supposed to be as ridiculously abstract as the song itself. But regardless, it makes its ridiculous point(s) dreadfully well."
"Caught Up In The Gears Of Application" was released on November 11 via Anselmo's Housecore record label. The disc was recorded at Philip's New Orleans-area studio, Nodferatu's Lair and was produced by Anselmo and Stephen Berrigan. The effort was mastered by Scott Hull (AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, PIG DESTROYER) at Visceral Sounds.
SUPERJOINT's current lineup includes guitarists Kevin Bond (CHRIST INVERSION, ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER) and Jimmy Bower (DOWN, EYEHATEGOD), drummer José Manuel Gonzalez (WARBEAST, PHILIP H. ANSELMO & THE ILLEGALS) and bassist Stephen Taylor (PHILIP H. ANSELMO & THE ILLEGALS, WOVEN HAND, 16 HORSE POWER).
"The minute we started writing, I knew this record would be brutal," reflects Bower.
"Sticking to our true hardcore roots and signature SUPERJOINT sound, we accomplished a record that needed to happen in today's underground. It's pissed off!
"After being on hiatus for eleven-plus years, the chance at a new SUPERJOINT record wasn't something we took lightly.
"With newcomers Steven and Joey, we were psyched and eager to get in the Lair and start writing and after two tours with the new lineup, we were able to hit the writing hard! Didn't take long to accomplish, and we stood and smirked at the playback of what would be the new SUPERJOINT record.
"With songs like 'Receiving No Answer To The Knock' and 'Sociopathic Herd Delusion', we had everything to smirk about!
"This record brings our viscous style of hardcore back to life.
"Pissed off with everything to prove, SUPERJOINT is back!"
Adds Anselmo: "The overall theme [of the album] means many things, or no things, but there is an underlying message regardless, about how modern technology — computers and all that comes with them, mainly — has affected our lives. As a musician, it has affected my life both negatively (music being stolen) and positively (being in touch with fellow musicians around the world and staying visible). But when looking at the broader spectrum, computer-land has given everyday people a platform in which to bellow like carnival barkers about anything and everything, humdrum or political, whether qualified or not, some with good intentions, some with disingenuous intentions, and some with ideas that lay somewhere in the middle, creating a mishmash of results."
"Caught Up In The Gears Of Application" track listing:
01. Today And Tomorrow02. Burning The Blanket03. Ruin You04. Caught Up In The Gears Of The Application05. Sociopathic Herd Delusion06. Circling The Drain07. Clickbait08. Asshole09. Mutts Bite Too10. Rigging The Fight11. Receiving No Answer To The Knock
Anselmo told Decibel magazine that SUPERJOINT was forced to drop the "RITUAL" from its name was "because there's a bloodsucking leech out there who took advantage of a situation. But we're all at fault as well for signing a document that basically has a zero sunset clause, meaning that this person is privy to a cut of any money a 'SUPERJOINT RITUAL' would make. Hence getting rid of the 'RITUAL,' coming back as SUPERJOINT, and cutting out that cancer."
Cain's Offering have released a video for “The Best Of Times”, a track from their sophomore studio album, Stormcrow, released in 2015. The new clip can be found below.
Cain's Offering is the brainchild of Finnish guitarist/songwriter Jani Liimatainen (founding member of one of Finland's biggest music exports Sonata Arctica). Drawing its musical influence from both the classic hard rock scene, the fast-paced European power metal and a very modern heavy metal sound, Cain's Offering is, just as expected, another perfect example of today's living and breathing Finnish music scene.

“I Will Build You A Rome”
“Too Tired To Run”

The Sign, the new band surrounding vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ossy Pfeiffer, guitarist/vocalist Anca Graterol (Rosy Vista) and former MSG/The Sweet guitarist Steve Mann, have signed with Steamhammer/SPV. The group also includes Lars Lehmann, renowned as a studio bassist with British rock legend UFO and member of ex-Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth’s band, as well as percussionist Momme Boe and drummer Kristof Hinz, who has just finished the drum takes for the new Eloy album.
The arrival of The Sign’s debut album has been announced for April 2017 and the first download single, “A Line To Cross”, will be out at the beginning of December. Another track is scheduled for release next February. Fans can look forward to an album featuring that timeless kind of classic rock that’s currently so successful worldwide.
“For us as musicians who have close ties with this city, the Hanover label Steamhammer/SPV was of course our number one choice,” admits Ossy Pfeiffer. “We’ve known Olly Hahn and the label for more than twenty years and value their expertise and reliability. In addition, this collaboration guarantees direct communication and quick decisions, the way that Steve has been used to with MSG/The Sweet and Lars with UFO and Uli Jon Roth. Our cooperation feels really good.”
Olly Hahn, in charge of A&R at Steamhammer, is delighted about his latest signing: “Ossy Pfeiffer and the The Sign musicians have made all the right decisions from the very start. There’s an very trustful relationship between the band and Steamhammer on which we can build a successful cooperation.”

The cinematic metal band DARK SARAH will release its new album, "The Puzzle", on November 18 in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings.
The official video for "The Puzzle" song"Dance With The Dragon", featuring a guest appearance by JP Leppäluoto (CHARON, NORTHERN KINGS), can be seen below.
DARK SARAH is a music project by Finnish metal band AMBERIAN DAWN's former vocalist Heidi Parviainen. During the years with AMBERIAN DAWN, she released four studio albums and did several European tours. After parting ways with AMBERIAN DAWN in late 2012, she started to build up her solo career and formed DARK SARAH.
The debut album, titled "Behind The Black Veil", was released in May 2015 and led you through the psychological adventure of Sarah, who was hovering between her two personalities and changed to her evil side persona, Dark Sarah.
"The Puzzle" is a concept album and it continues the story from "Behind The Black Veil". "The Puzzle" tells a story of Dark Sarah who has been send to an island where the banished souls live. To get off the island, she needs to solve the puzzle and find three keys.
DARK SARAH's music combines metal, film music and theatrical elements.
On "The Puzzle" album, Dark Sarah's thoughts are best depicted in the dialogues (duets) with the guests:
01. Breath02. Island In The Mist03. Little Men04. Ash Grove05. For The Birds06. Deep And Deeper07. Dance With The Dragon (feat. JP Leppäluoto)08. Cliffhanger09. Aquarium (feat. Charlotte Wessels)10. Rain (feat. Manuela Kraller)
Dayshell released their Spinefarm debut, Nexus, in October. The band is now premiering the video for "Low Light”, which can be seen below.
"This song is not the norm for Dayshell," said frontman Shayley Bourget. "'Low Light' takes a different approach with the meaning. Basically, it's a fantasy between a guy and a girl. The guy always had a thing for this particular girl, but knew she was a wild cat. But when they both finally let their guards down, things get serious in the bedroom and basically... Well, just read the lyrics for yourself. As far as the music video concept goes? We just wanted a classic performance video. No cheesy story plot. Just us Dayshell boys rocking out in style."
The band are set to embark on a late fall tour with Spoken and 3 Pill Morning, which kicks off November 26th and runs through December 18th.
Tour dates:

Canadian melodic death metal band, Decadawn, have releassed an official video for the song “Take You There”, featured on their 2014 album, Solitary Confinement. The new clip can be found below.
Decadawn is a “newer” band giving a go at the traditional Gothenburg sound. They possess many trademarks of the popular ’90s melodeath sound reminiscent of At The Gates and early-era In Flames with a touch of Children Of Bodom (minus the keyboards). However, the thing that separates Decadawn from the rest of the melodeath pack is the cleaner, melodic, power metal vocals they incorporate throughout each of the ten tracks on Solitary Confinement.
After releasing a demo in 2001, it took 13 years to finally release the band’s full-length debut, Solitary Confinement. The album was mixed at Studio Fredman (Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy), and At The Gates singer Tomas Lindberg makes a guest appearance on the track “Solitary Confinement”.
Solitary Confinement tracklisting:
“Disappear”
“It All Ends Today”
“Take You There”
“Everblack”
“Solitary Confinement”
“Falling Down”
“Even The Devil Hates You”
“Until Dawn”
“Hypochrist”
“The Running Man”
Raw Cut Media has directed the video for the song "Halothane Glow" from Montreal extreme metallers CRYPTOPSY. Check it out below. The song is taken from the band's latest EP, "The Book Of Suffering Tome 1", which was released in October 2015.
"The Book Of Suffering Tome 1" was produced by Chris Donaldson at The Grid studio in Montreal, mixed by Jason Suecof at Audiohammer Studio and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.
It had been three years since CRYPTOPSY's last release and many fans had expressed their eagerness to hear new material. This time, rather than a full album, CRYPTOPSY chose to release a series of EPs titled "The Book Of Suffering". This new approach allows CRYPTOPSY to put out new music more often while remaining true to their standards of quality.
"The Book Of Suffering Tome 1" track listing:
01. Detritus (The One They Kept) 02. The Knife, The Head And What Remains 03. Halothane Glow 04. Framed By Blood
CRYPTOPSY stated: "We are extremely proud of the new material; it is some of the most brutal, dark and technical music we have ever created."
"Trust No One", the new video from California metallers DEVILDRIVER, can be seen below. The clip was filmed during the band's appearance at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest in Devore, California at the end of September.
"DEVILDRIVER is a California band and we were honored to be part of the return of Ozzfest in California, where it all began," said DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara. "I'm thankful to Sharon and Ozzy and everyone in the Osbourne camp that DEVILDRIVER was allowed to shoot a live video that day! The sun was blazing hot on a clear afternoon and the crowd went insane as soon as we took the stage. The pit was giant for us and it was killer to see such a massive crowd participating in the madness! Thanks to all who shared the memory and came out to support. Keep it heavy!"
"Trust No One" is the title track of DEVILDRIVER's seventh studio album, which was released on May 13 via Napalm Records. The follow-up to 2013's "Winter Kills" was once again produced by Mark Lewis (ARSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, DEICIDE, SIX FEET UNDER) with assistance from Jason Suecof (AUGUST BURNS RED, DEICIDE, DEATH ANGEL). The new CD marks the group's first release since the departures of guitarist Jeff Kendrick and drummer John Boecklin and addition of axeman Neal Tiemann and former CHIMAIRA sticksman Austin D'Amond.
"Trust No One" entered The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 43 with first-week sales of just over 12,000 units — nearly all from pure album sales. The set follows the No. 32-peaking "Winter Kills", which was released in August 2013 and opened with 11,000 copies.
Fafara recently told Full Metal Jackie about the "Trust No One" album title: "I raised my children with a huge sticker on the refrigerator for a long time saying 'Question Authority.' And 'Trust No One' is basically along [those] lines. I don't think that 'Question Authority' would have worked for a title. But you've gotta really watch people, and you've gotta watch 'em before you bring 'em into your circle, and after you do bring them into your circle, then you've gotta watch 'em even closer. And as they exit, you'll realize that a lot of the times you bring in people, and as they exit, they are not, or were not, what they said they were the whole time they were in your life."
He continued: "I'm a very private person and my circle is very small. I have had some monumental fallouts over the years with some people, both personal and in business. And, basically, because you come to a realization where positivity is more important than anything in your life. And if someone is bringing you negativity, bringing you down, not having a good time with you or around whatever you are doing, you know, it's time to vacate the situation. 'Cause I am a glass-half-full guy; I'm always pretty positive, and I'm always willing to have a really good time. So, in the last couple years, that's been what's going on with me. I've been, 'Look, are you positive in my life? Okay, cool. Come around more. If you are not, I may lose your phone number.'"
Rob Zombie's video for the song "Get Your Boots On! That's The End Of Rock And Roll!" can be seen below. The track is taken from his latest album, "The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser", which debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200, having shifted 41,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 5. It's the sixth solo Top 10 album for Zombie.
"The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser" was released on April 29 via UMe/T-Boy Records.
Regarding his decision to keep the new album and songs short, Rob told Rolling Stone magazine: "Whenever I go through records that I love and I listen to over and over and over, I go, 'Man, this record's short. That's why I loved it so much.' It's, like, thirty minutes, so I've listened to it nine thousand times, whereas you have other records where you go, 'Yeah, I know that record's great, but it's, like, seventy-five minutes long, or the tracks are, like, six minutes long.' Like, I'd go back and look at BEATLES records and go, like, 'These songs are like a minute-and-a-half long. They don't feel a minute-and-a-half long.' Even when… Later, on 'Magical Mystery Tour', I used to think, 'Oh, well, these songs are much longer.' But they're not really; they're still short songs, but they seem epic. I love long songs, but if you're gonna write a song that long, it's better be 'Freebird' or 'Stairway To Heaven' or something. It'd better be worth my time."
"The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser" was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris and features Zombie alongside guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D and drummer Ginger Fish.
"Electric Sky", a brand video from New York's VISION OF DISORDER, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's latest album, "Razed To The Ground", which wasreleased in November 2015 via Candlelight Records. Produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, DEMON HUNTER, ROB ZOMBIE), it is the band's second recording for Candlelight.
"This song musically stood out to me when we started writing the record," said VISION OF DISORDER vocalist Tim Williams. "It's got this chaotic, red-lined, Imprint feel right from the jump off. Hearing it come to life in the studio with the vocals was inspiring. Then seeing it become the top pick for a video was just incredible."
Recorded during July and August 2015, "Razed To The Ground" contains ten hearty and provocative new songs from the hardcore luminaries. Williams notes: "We are very excited for our fans to hear this record. We believe it offers everything VOD does well. I am especially excited about the growth of the songs; the brutality, the melody, and the overall sound of the record." Bassist Mike Fleischmann adds: "As a band, VISION OF DISORDER strives to evolve musically with each album. Having Zeuss as producer really allowed us to achieve that goal. 'Razed To The Ground' contains some of this band's finest moments and we are extremely grateful to Candlelight that we have been given the opportunity to demonstrate that we are still at the top of our game." Questioned about the album's first single, "Hours In Chaos", Williams stated, "Upon hearing the first riffs of the song, I knew it was gonna be a monster and needed strong vocals and lyrics to bring it where it needed to be. It is a song to awaken people to what is going on around them; the unrest, the guns, the utter disregard for human life. The world has become a dangerous place. I feel I have illustrated the feelings of anxiety and insecurity that is so prevalent today." Guitarist Mike Kennedy asserted: "This song embodies everything that is VOD. Politically relevant and musically explosive, 'Hours In Chaos' is one of the most raw and powerful tracks VOD has ever written. Lyrically, it is a stark reflection of the state of the world today. The frenetic pace of the song mirrors the chaos we see on the streets. The vilification of the police by media and citizens alike is simply the status quo today. 'Hours' shines a harsh spotlight on these events and the tragedies surrounding them." "Razed To The Ground" came three years after the release of "The Cursed Remain Cursed", the first newly recorded material by the band in over ten years.
"Razed To The Ground" track listing:
01. Heart Of Darkness02. Hours In Chaos03. Electric Sky04. Razed To The Ground05. The Craving06. Cut My Teeth07. Red On The Walls08. Nightcrawler09. Severed Wing10. Amurdica: A Culture Of Violence VISION OF DISORDER is guitarist Mike Kennedy, drummer Brendon Cohen, vocalist Tim Williams and bassist Mike Fleischmann.
STITCHED UP HEART's powerful, new music video for "Catch Me When I Fall" can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's debut full-length offering, "Never Alone", which came out on June 17 via Another Century.
STITCHED UP HEART singer Mixi states: "This video was so much fun! I got to be a princess for a day in a castle. I think every girl dreams of that. Plus, we had a demon that the boys tried to save me from.
"It was interesting watching how all the different scenes come together. For the falling in a crystal ball part, it was shot on green screen while crew members moved my dress with light sabers and blew wind in my face.
"It was challenging for all of us to act our parts, but we had an amazing director and crew. Everyone worked so well together and overall it was a great learning experience for us.
"The story is that I'm mesmerized by a light which is actually my inner demons. I blindly follow it as it tries to trap me and when I finally realize what it is, it's too late. The guys all are searching for me because they see that I'm in trouble. I'm falling into my demon's trap and they're trying to save me, to catch me when I fall. The message of the song is the same, it's a call for help. Knowing that sometimes you need those who care about you to help you through tough times in life. It's really kind of a breakthrough song.
"With 'Finally Free', we had a heavy anthem which grabs your attention right away. 'Monster' was a little more experimental and a bit heavier. 'Catch Me' has a little more mainstream feel to it. We think it will help us reach a larger audience and help us spread the overall message of hope. That when life gets you down, you can get back up whether through sheer will power or with the help of loved ones."
STITCHED UP HEART is described in a press release as "a band built around the strength that comes from realizing we are the only ones that control our lives, and focused on the hope that reminds us there is always light at the end of the darkest tunnel. It's something heavy and powerful, jarring the album's epic closing track 'I Can't Breathe' from a piano-paced ballad that would do Lady Gaga proud, to a metallic onslaught of drop-tuned guitars that is sure to see the band sharing a stage with the hardest of their hard rock peers. And it is something undeniable, Mixi's voice taking flight amidst anthems of self-awareness that bridge the unrelenting confidence of IN THIS MOMENT's Maria Brink and the soulful transcendence of Adele."
STITCHED UP HEART will perform at The Epiphone Revolver Music Awards, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 13 at Webster Hall in New York City.

Weapons Of Anew, the new band featuring members of HavocHate and Spread Eagle, follow last Friday’s digital release of the track "Killshot" (OK!Good Records) with a brand new video, available today.
Filmed at Hammer Hands Gym and directed by Ron Geffen, the hard-hitting clip follows a contentious boxing match between actors/boxers Amber Skyes and Julian Rodriguez, illustrating the song's theme of the struggle between love and hate, interspersed with band in live action, also inside the ring.
The video is based on a treatment written by frontman Ray West, who also penned the lyrics for the song. "Ray had written a treatment with a girl beating the breaks off a guy," said bassist Stefan 'Reno' Cutrupi. "Once we met Ron and discussed the concept, all of the pieces kind of just fell into place."
The video was a departure for director Geffen, though, who focuses more of his work on pop and EDM artists. "It was a fun time," he said. "I believe the video depicts the emotions and feelings of the band, and how they are able to put those emotions into words."
"Ron is a hard worker that really hustles, so he and I definitely bonded quickly," guitarist Freddy Ordine said. "Amber is actually Ron's girlfriend and she has a hell of a right hook! She was actually punching Julian in the face with the first punch. Ron now knows not to piss her off!"
The shoot was the first time in a ring for the members of Weapons Of Anew, even if they didn't throw any punches themselves. "It actually felt very small," Reno said. I give boxers even more respect than I already did. That feeling of no getting away from your opponent really hit home."
Added West: "It was very comfortable. I love to perform and to be on sets. I even love the endless takes. My fave is singing in double time. It's very humbling."
"Killshot" is available for purchase via iTunes, and Bandcamp.
After whetting fans' appetites with "Killshot”, Weapons Of Anew will soon announce more information on their upcoming debut full-length album.

BraveWords is premiering the music video for “Throne Of The Crow”, a track from progressive metal act Cognition’s second full-length studio album, Procession Of Thoughts, released today (November 11th) independently via iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and Google Play.
The new video was shot and produced by Screaming Butterfly Entertainment, directed by Holly Siders. Watch below:
Procession Of Thoughts reflects an evolved and more mature sound from the West Virginia-based quintet, and follows the band’s 2014 self-titled debut album that put the band on the metal scene's radar as a band to watch.
Featuring vocalist Calvin Wilson, drummer Evan Michael, Joey Welsh on bass, and guitarists Jared Gaminde and Tyler Vincent, the band once again tapped producer Jeff Westlake of Ridgeline Production Studios (Hydrogyn, Tracy G and Craig Goldy of Dio fame, The Godz) who engineered and mixed Procession Of Thoughts.
“The process started in December of 2014 and finished in July of 2016. We sat down and put structure to what these guys brought to the table,” says Westlake. “This is a band in transition. They are learning every day and they have worked hard to be where they are. Development is so key and you rarely get to see it done this way anymore. The members of Cognition are getting the benefit of just that and to watch the growth is very satisfying.”
"As a band, Procession Of Thoughts represents a coming of age and a conscious reminder of what got us playing in the first place,” says guitarist Tyler Vincent. “We approached the writing process focused on delivering a cohesive album for the listener and not just ourselves. We believe our collective spirit is captured in each of the nine tracks and we can't wait for you all to hear it!"
