German death metallers, Deserted Fear, have launched a video for the new song “Face Our Destiny”, off their upcoming album Dead Shores Rising.
The band comments: “With “Face Our Destiny” we are proud to introduce you the first song of our upcoming album Dead Shores Rising. The video production was rather exhausting for us again. However, it was a great experience to work with a wolfhound and to shoot under the surveillance of tough Thuringian steel workers, while gaining a deeper insight of their hard work. The video’s intention should be clear, as we wanted to create a contrast of nature and industry, to give people something to think about. Unfortunately it isn’t everywhere as green as here in Thuringia. We didn‘t want to miss out on action and blood as well, but we don’t want to give away too much. Just have a look yourself. Enjoy!“
Dead Shores Rising will be released through Century Media Records on January 27th and will be available as Special Edition Digipak, Ltd. Edition Gatefold LP and as digital album. The Digipak includes a patch and two bonus tracks of which one features guest vocals of Tomas “Tompa” Lindberg (At The Gates) and the vinyl comes with LP booklet and poster.

BEASTO BLANCO, the band fronted by long time ALICE COOPER bassist Chuck Garric, will release its self-titled, full-length second album on November 25 via Rat Pak Records. "Beasto Blanco" is the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed 2013 release "Live Fast, Die Loud" (Rat Pak Records), which was endorsed by the likes of movie actor Johnny Depp, IRON MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain, producer Bob Ezrin, and many more. The latest effort, which was produced by Ryan Greene (ALICE COOPER, LITA FORD, MR. BIG), features 11 new tracks and an amped-up cover version of Alice's hit song "Feed My Frankenstein" that also features Alice's daughter and BEASTO bandmate Calico Cooper.
The official video for the new single from "Beasto Blanco", a song called "Grind", can be seen below.
Influenced by bands such as WHITE ZOMBIE and MOTÖRHEAD, BEASTO BLANCO's all new 12-song, sophomore effort is a potent mix of heavy riffs, driving bass and melodic choruses.
"I'm very proud of this release," says Chuck Garric. "This new album showcases the bands evolution as songwriters and our unity as a musical force." Calico adds: "This record is like a baseball bat to the chest that you want more and more of." The track listing for "Beasto Blanco" is: 01. Buried Angels02. Grind03. They return home to the U.S for another run of headline dates that will conclude with performances on the 2017 Monsters Of Rock cruise in February.
"Dim Days Of Dolor", the new Owe Lingvall-directed video from Norwegian symphonic metallers SIRENIA, can be seen below. The song is the title track of the band's new album, which is being released today (Friday, November 11) via Napalm Records. The "Dim Days Of Dolor" artwork was once again created by Gyula Havancsák from Hjules Illustration And Design. The CD was mixed at Hansen Studios in Denmark.
SIRENIA recently parted ways with their Spanish singer Ailyn Giménez García for "personal reasons." She has since been replaced by Emmanuelle Zoldan.
Commented the band: "Our cooperation [with Emmanuelle] goes back 13 years to the recordings of our second album 'An Elixir For Existence'. She has been a part of the choir on all our albums since then. She also did some lead vocals for the band on our EP 'Sirenian Shores', on our cover version of Leonard Cohen's song 'First We Take Manhattan'. And from now on she will also take the role as full time lead singer for SIRENIA.
"Emmanuelle is musically educated at Aix en Provence and Marseille Conservatories (4 years) and specialized at C.N.I.P.A.L Professional school of opera (2 years) She also made a career singing at various operas in France for many years and have collaborated with several bands and projects.
"Emmanuelle can handle lots of different musical styles and various techniques in addition to classical and opera, and this has had a big influence on our new album."

SIRENIA mastermind and guitarist Morten Veland previously stated about "Dim Days Of Dolor": "We are very excited about this album. It feels like we really have been able to achieve what we set out to achieve with this one. The production and sound have never been better, and the vocals are in a different league.
"We feel that every song on the album has its own unique expression and personality. So you really haven't heard 'Dim Days Of Dolor' until you checked out every song on the album. But 'The 12th Hour', for sure, will give an impression of SIRENIA's new sound. The album is also full of nice details that you will discover one by one the more you listen to it.
"Personally, I love listening to this album with a high-quality headset, it gives a great listening experience. Also works great to play on a huge stereo and crank up the volume, just to really feel the great power of the mix.
"My favorite SIRENIA album without doubt. Might sound like a cliché saying that, but this is the first time I ever say it, and I have some albums under my belt at this point."
Ailyn released a statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET in which she said that her exit from SIRENIA was not her decision. Ailyn (born: Pilar Giménez García) joined SIRENIA in 2008 as the replacement for Monika Pedersen, who left the group a year earlier after only one album due to "musical differences."
Ailyn was best known as a former contestant on the Spanish version of "The X Factor", the biggest television talent competition in Europe.
She appeared on four studio albums with SIRENIA: 2009's "The 13th Floor", 2011's "The Enigma Of Life", 2013's "Perils Of The Deep Blue" and 2015's "The Seventh Life Path".
Hanging Garden’s new EP, Hereafter, is now available on CD digipak and digital via Lifeforce Records. A music video for the title track can be found below.
The fourth album of the Finns - Blackout/Whiteout – was released a year ago. Since then, the band engaged in reflecting its own musical progression in order to find new approaches for further development. In doing so, Hanging Garden are well-supported by prominent vocalists such as Mikko Kotamäki (Swallow The Sun), Alexander Högbom (October Tide, Centinex, Volturyon), and Victor Wegeborn (The Moth Gatherer).
With changing the context and adding guest singers, the atmospheric sound of the Finns further gains in importance and emotional impression. Dark and light moments – it is both in there. Hereafter runs through Hanging Garden's career, but also gives an idea of what the future of this open-minded and adventurous band will sound like.
Tracklisting:

“Hereafter”

Hard rock all-stars, Klee Project, have released a video for the acoustic version of their song “If You Want”. The song is featured on the band’s debut album, The Long Way, out now via Memorial Records.

CHEVELLE's video for the song "Door To Door Cannibals" can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's latest album, "The North Corridor", which came out in July.
CHEVELLE drummer Sam Loeffler tells Bloody Disgusting: "Pete, Dean and I wanted to do a sort of 'nightmare/horror'-type video for 'Door To Door Cannibals', so we spent some time brainstorming and kicked around the idea of a mental/experimental hospital we find ourselves in and can't wake up from. We thought it could be killer if we added some messed up elements that would make Pete freak out and question reality on his way looking for an escape, including a few open doorways with questionable events going on inside. I think we achieved a grittiness that created a sense of urgency but still left us with a little bit of creepy tongue-in-cheek style that some horror films are known for."
"The North Corridor" was released via Sony Music. The CD was helmed by Joe Barresi, the American record engineer and producer who has previously worked with bands such as KYUSS, MELVINS, TOOL and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.
CHEVELLE bassist Dean Bernardini told Fuse about "The North Corridor": "We have to play the singles that people know, and we always try to pepper in new stuff and stuff we like to play, which is usually heavier. I think this record was designed in a way to be more aggressive and more fun to play onstage, and that's just going off the reactions we see from our perspective. You can tell when a crowd is into what you're doing — I think that drove the darkness of this record. It was, like, let's play more stuff that we love playing onstage!"
Pink Floyd’s seminal work “Echoes” was created by the band in a conscious desire to use a freeform jamming approach to composing new material. Accordingly they ended up with more than 20 pieces of music, of which this is one. All the pieces were originally called “Nothing”, and the collation therefore “Nothing”, Parts 1-24, followed by “Son Of Nothing” and “Return Of The Son of Nothing”; before Roger Waters’ lyrics were added and the final work dubbed “Echoes”.
Watch a video for “Nothing” Part 14 below:

Pink Floyd’s “Grantchester Meadows” (taken from The Early Years 1965 – 1972) is a Roger Waters song, originally performed solo on the Ummagumma album, that celebrates the English countryside, as in other compositions such as “Time”. This special group performance, taped for the BBC, with acoustic guitars and vocals from Roger Waters and David Gilmour, plus additional piano from Richard Wright and taped songbirds, successfully evokes a summer’s day in Grantchester, a small village close to Cambridge, England.
Grantchester’s famous former residents include the Edwardian poet Rupert Brooke, who moved there and subsequently wrote a poem of homesickness entitled The Old Vicarage, Grantchester.
Creative Director: Aubrey Powell, Hipgnosis. 2016 footage directed and edited by Nick Edwards. Performance footage director: John Coney for KQED, San Francisco 1970. Audio recorded for BBC Radio, 12 May 1969.

Swedish progressive melodic death metal band, Despite, have released a video for “Awakening”, a track from their debut album, Synergi, which was released on July 22nd via Eclipse Records. “Awakening” tackles the topic of “poisonous political convictions” on the day after the US presidential election. The video was directed by Joel Nilsson of Maluha Media and filmed in the remote badlands of Vasterlanda, Sweden.
“The poison of choice for the saboteurs of today is conviction, and at the core of every conflict you will find these convictions”, states bassist Anthony Cui. “Whether they’re political or religious, these are the anti-theses of diplomacy and communication among humanity. Far too often, people use their convictions as barriers.”
Vocalist Peter Tuthill adds, “The cogs under the surface of our skin represent the fact that we are all small parts of a big machine – planet earth. Until people with convictions are awakened, civilization will be locked in conflict. It’s time to wake the fuck up!”
Synergi contains thirteen powerful songs of progressive, melodic death metal produced by Oscar Nilsson (Engel) at Crehate Studios. The cover artwork was designed by the band’s singer Peter Tuthill, and it perfectly captures the album’s concept as a whole.
The album is already available via iTunes, Amazon (widget below), and Google Play.

Hard rockers Monster Truck premiere their brand new music video for "For The People”, a politically empowering yet non-partisan track from their recent album, Sittin’ Heavy. Check out the animated companion video for the classic roots rock-inspired song advocating power to the people below.
Of the "For The People" video, Monster Truck lead singer/bassist Jon Harvey commented, "We wanted the video to capture a certain vibe. The song was intended to be a pseudo-protest and very roots rock and the 70s animation seem to speak to that. Besides nothing is cooler than hand-drawn animation. The illustrators and animators executed it perfectly."
The "For The People" video is illustrated by Brett Lamb, Leslie Supnet and Eric Kim and is animated by David Mayzis, Les Solis and Greg Zajac. The director is Kyle Griblin.

Riveting hard rockers The Dead Daisies have lined up the release of their captivating new single “A Song And A Prayer”, for today, November 4th on Spitfire Music / SPV. A short film, reflecting the poignant story behind the lyrics of “A Song And A Prayer”, the new single to be taken from The Dead Daisies’ much acclaimed new album Make Some Noise, which crashed into the album charts worldwide in August is streaming below.
Says John Corabi: “This song turned out to have a special vibe to it, very accessible, which is really cool. But the lyrics are rather dark. In the end it's about hope, it talks about all the troubles we're all going through - and that you have to be hopeful, that you will come out of it. Always look on the positive side, that's the message.”
The Dead Daisies, who were recently special guests on KISS’ entire Freedom To Rock US tour, have just played their first ever USO headline tour for Servicemen and –women in South Korea.
Today, November 4th, they commence performing with KISS on the KISS Kruise in Cozumel, Mexico, until November 9th.
The Dead Daisies, will then fly in to the UK to perform sold out shows starting November 12th.
The Dead Daisies are: Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).
"All Through The Night", the new video from IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC, the Swedish rock band led by THE HELLACOPTERS architect and ENTOMBED drummer Nicke Andersson, can be seen below. The song is the title track of IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC's fifth album, "All Through The Night", which was released on September 23 via Psychout Records. The follow-up to last year's "Honk Machine" was recorded in Andersson's studio The Honk Palace and was mixed by Frans Hagglund (SAMLING, LAST DAYS OF APRIL, THE HIVES).
A single featuring the new track "Read Me Wrong" was released as a 12-inch vinyl on May 13. It included two exclusive tracks, "I Know You Well" and "Just A Little Misunderstanding" (a THE CONTOURS cover).
The limited time period between "Honk Machine" and "All Through The Night" poses the question, and rightly so: how has the band found time and creativity to record yet another album? Nicke's answer is clear: "We play rock 'n' roll music. If it takes four years to make a rock 'n' roll record, then you have most likely over analyzed an art form that is more about gut instinct. It should feel and this record feels good."
According to a press release, IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC proves on "All Through The Night" "that they have raised their game another notch. Sure, they subscribe to the school of 'less-is-more' greats like CHEAP TRICK, THE CLASH, Tom Petty and the RAMONES, but somehow they manage to make this fresh and vital as opposed to retro and overdone. On 'All Through The Night', the band is everything and a little more than what you can ask of a rock album, whether the year is 1967, 1978 or 2016."
In a recent interview with RockYourLife.gr, Nicke stated about the songwriting process for "All Through The Night": "I write songs all the time. Not just for a specific album. The songs on 'All Through The Night' are the ones we decided would make a pretty decent album. Some songs are older and some were written a day before recording them."
He added: "I always write songs the same way: I sit down with a guitar and usually something comes out of it. I never try to write a certain type of song. I can't force it in any direction. You can, however, produce the song in certain ways. That's what we did with the title track, for instance, when we added strings and stuff. I like a lot different types of music and all of that gets filtered through my head, so to speak."
British heavy metallers Tank have released the video for the title track from their most recent album, Valley Of Tears. The digital deluxe release of the album is slated for December 1st.
Tank will be performing at Austria’s Full Metal Mountain Festival 2017. For more info go here.
