The video for "Neverend" was directed by Sofia Costa and Elena Andres Costa of Costa Sister Productions. Vocalist Andrew Hunt states, “”Neverend” is a song about being in a dark place but reaching for the light. Proudly proclaiming that they 'bring the soul from the coal', Buffalo Summer bristle with the warm, rich old-school tones of groups such as Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Jack White and Deep Purple, and their reputation as one of the most electric new live rock bands in Europe has seen them share gigs with the likes of Duff McKagan, Ugly Kid Joe, Soundgarden and Black Sabbath.

Four years on from the release of their Anomalia album, Norwegian prog/black metal band, Khonsu, are set to release their new album, The Xun Protectorate, on November 18th.
The band have released a video for “Visions Of Nehaya”, to be included on the new album. The clip was directed by S. Gronbech and Christian Falch, and produced by Gammaglimt Video Productions.
In regards to the new album, the band states: “Hundreds of hours of work, resulting in 10 new experimental, progressive, and industrial tracks. And it sounds incredible!”
The album will feature guest appearances from members of Keep Of Kalessin and Manes. Check out the trailer below and stay tuned for updates.
The self-titled debut album from Swedish AOR band, Cruzh, is out today, August 26th. A video for the album cut “Aim For The Head” can be found below.
Cruzh was put together after the demise of Swedish glam rockers TrashQueen, in which both Anton Joensson and Dennis Butabi Borg played. They shared a love for melodic rock and AOR and joined forces with Tony Andersson, who previously worked as a studio musician on the never released TrashQueen record.
It all started in March 2013 when Cruzh was announced online. The only things shown to the public were an image of the silhouette of the three band members, the debut song "In A Blink Of An Eye”, information that the band was Swedish, and the text "Get ready for the Cruzh". The song quickly spread on the internet and both Swedish and international websites and radio stations played it and speculated about the identities of the band members. In May came the sequel "Stay", which continued in the same melodic rock spirit. Meanwhile, the band spread various clues on social media regarding their whereabouts. In the fall of 2013 Cruzh had reached a point where they chose to “unmask” and take it all to the next level and reach out to the masses together with the release of the Hard To Get EP, the first of two very successful self-produced demos. Hard To Get and its successor, the darker Aim For The Head got great reviews worldwide.
By late spring of 2015, just when Cruzh was about to release a new EP, they were approached by Frontiers Music Srl who wanted to sign the band, so Cruzh started the recording process by the end of summer 2015. The result is truly an awesome debut, in the spirit of Def Leppard, Danger Danger, H.E.A.T, Winger, Firehouse and Bryan Adams.
“We all share the love for Melodic Rock,” says bassist Dennis Butabi Borg, “but in the meantime we all have very different musical background and inspirations. This shows in our songs”. “When we started out, almost immediately I felt this synergy in the band,” adds Tony Andersson, “and despite our musical backgrounds and differences, we all head in the same direction.” “When a piece of music is coming to me and I am developing someone else’s work, I am filled with some sort of emotion that I want to convey,” concludes guitarist Anton Joensson, “it’s easy to do this in a natural way with Cruzh because I could not feel more at home with our band and the music we create. This is also true with Tony and Dennis. This is who we are!”

ANTHRAX has released the official video for "Monster At The End", a song from the band's latest album, "For All Kings".
The original concept was to have four still photographers placed strategically on a Florida set while the five members of ANTHRAX performed song "Monster At The End" live. Each photographer would hold down his camera's shutter button continuously for the near-four minute-long song, capturing a steady stream of hundreds of still images.
"Hey, it might have been a great idea," laughed video director Jack Bennett, "but holding down the shutter button on a still camera for that long a time? All we would have ended up with were four jammed cameras!"
Shooting the entire video with Super Sharp HD video still cameras, Bennett wanted an animated, staccato-feel to the flow of the individual images. "Video shutter speeds are faster and more reliable than anything we could have done manually, and we wanted as big a pool of still images to choose from as we could get."
In post-production, Bennett went through the footage frame by frame and hand-picked the still images he wanted to animate — hundreds of them. Rather than print the video at 24 frames per second, he animated movement of the band members using the still images, creating a jagged, crude motion. "We didn't want fluidity, we wanted the video to have more of a comic book feel to it, like flipbook animation."
This also allowed Bennett to hang on the band members' individual movements to accentuate the power of their playing, such as the strength in Charlie Benante's drum hits, or Scott Ian's strumming or Frank Bello's rhythm.
And then the real fun began.
Bennett and his crew went one step further, taking a cue from the legendary Walt Disney animators of the 1920s and 1930s, who used the technique of rotoscoping, the art of painstakingly hand-painting individual cels to embellish a primary image.
Employing the fundamentals of rotoscope, Bennett has peppered the video with monsters, tattoos that come alive, explosions, popping eyeballs, speech bubbles, morphed images, and nods to the influence of "Creepshow". There's even a frame or two of The Skull King, the evil character from ANTHRAX's "Blood Eagle Wings" music video that Bennett also directed. Actor Justin Michael Terry, who played The Skull King, is The Runner in "Monster At The End".
"We used a lot of stop-motion effects as well as other special and visual effects in the same way as was done in the original 'Exorcist' film," Bennett added. "We even added a little bit of grain, some dust and some scratches just to give it that analog feel."
As the music video unfolds, the frame rate increases, giving the band members more and more fluid movements until the final chorus when the video is full-on 24-frames per second. "You could watch this video one frame at a time," Bennett added, "and probably not find everything we did."
"The 'Monster At The End' video takes us back to our love of comics and horror," said Benante. "We've always loved the 'Creepshow' movies and wanted something like that for this video. Jack is easy to work with, all we did was perform the song, he did the real work with the editing and achieving the look that we wanted."
Bennett wraps the video with one more surprise, an unexpected ending that goes to show that in the end, there's a little bit of the monster in all of us.
The "Monster At The End" vinyl single, which came out last month, is backed by the track "Vice Of The People", which was previously released as a bonus song on the Japanese version of "For All Kings". The single is available in four different colors: Lilac, silver, black and gold (Nuclear Blast mailorder exclusive).
"For All Kings" sold 34,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart.
ANTHRAX will join forces with SLAYER and DEATH ANGEL this fall for a seven-week North American tour. The dates start in Cleveland on September 9 and will hit both major and secondary markets across the continent.
Lordi release the first single and video "Hug You Hardcore" from their upcoming album "Monstereophonic (Theaterror Vs. Demonarchy), out on September 16th! The clip is for registered Youtube users 18+ only.
Relapse Records will release Arizona's death metal newcomers Gatecreeper’s debut full-length, Sonoran Depravation, on October 7th on CD/LP/digital formats. The album was recorded at Homewrecker Studios in Tucson, Arizona by Ryan Bram and mixed by Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studios. A video for the album track “Desperation” is streaming below.
"We chose a robbery-gone-wrong scenario, focusing on the bloody aftermath and suspenseful get-away rather than the initial violenc," elaborates the band of the clip, "The performance footage was filmed with a single camera in hopes of capturing the energy and intensity of our live shows to match the main character's desperation as he tries to escape the horror he has created. In the end, the worlds collide leaving the viewer questioning what was real and what was a hallucination."
Formed in mid-2013 based on their mutual love for bands like Dismember, Entombed, Bolt Thrower and Obituary, Gatecreeper play monstrous, low-end, old-school death metal for a new generation.
Gatecreeper commented on signing with Replase and their new album: "We are very excited to be working with Relapse, a label that we have all been following for many years. It is a dream come true to release our first full-length on such a legendary and trustworthy label."
The official video for "Radio", a brand new song from STRYPER frontman Michael Sweet, can be seen below. The track is taken from Sweet's seventh solo album, "One Sided War", which will be released on August 26 via Rat Pak Records. Backing Michael on the record are WHITESNAKE guitarist Joel Hoekstra, EVANESCENCE drummer Will Hunt, bassist John O'Boyle and East Coast shred-master Ethan Brosh.
Said Sweet: "I wrote the song 'Radio' based on my history in country music and on what seems to be a surge of rock stars trying to become country stars.
"I'm a metalhead at heart and always will be, but I've had the opportunity to write with some of the best writers in Nashville (Blair Daly, Bruce Wallace, Luke Laird) and I've learned how talented these guys are and how serious they take their job.
"Just as metal is a lifestyle, country is as well and you have to live it, not just wake up one morning and decide you're gonna be a country star and have the respect of the country world.
"I grew up with country music, played on my dad's country songs (he co-wrote a #1 country song in 1976 called 'I Don't Want To Have To Marry You') and I know and respect the country music world.
"This song and video is having a little fun with all the guys that think they can just throw on a cowboy hat, some cowboy boots, move to Nashville and become country stars. It's just not that simple and that's just not reality. The same would apply to country stars trying to become metalheads. Kind of funny when you think about it.
"Country music, just like rock, is a lifestyle rich with history and authenticity and each genre should be treated with great respect. You can’t fake it. You can try, but the fans will see right through it."
"One Sided War" showcases a full plate of hard rock and classic metal riffs that Michael Sweet has come to be known for throughout his illustrious musical career.
The album, which was recorded at Spirithouse Recording Studios in Northampton, Massachusetts, is available for pre-order at this location.
"Musically, it's my heaviest solo album," Sweet said. "It's not thrash metal but there are definitely some songs on there that will pop out at you. There are some songs that have a bit of the IRON MAIDEN / DIO feel to them, as well as some songs that have a little bit of a VAN HALEN influence to them. It's a very guitar-oriented, hard rock/metal album with lots of melodies and hooks." The fast and furious opener "Bizarre" ignites the album's pace with its lightning fast riffage, soaring vocals and blazing guitar solos. Tracks like "Can't Take This Life", "One Sided War", "Golden Age", "I Am" and "Comfort Zone" keep the metal fires ablaze, while songs like "Radio", "One Way" and "You Make Me Wanna" bring the hard rock vibe to the forefront.
"One Sided War" features only one ballad, "Who Am I?", a heartfelt, passionate song that reminds us of the softer side of Michael's talents. Closing out the disc is a bonus track; it's a different version of the song "Can't Take This Life", a duet between Michael and 16-year-old up-and-coming female vocalist Moriah Formica.
An EPK that talks about the CD and contains samples of "Bizarre" and "Radio" is available below.

On August 26, California rockers TESLA will release "Mechanical Resonance Live!", a live recording of their classic album, celebrating the original multi-platinum record's 30th birthday in style. With a few surprises up their sleeve, including the single "Save That Goodness" written and produced by Phil Collen of DEF LEPPARD, the effort will be made available via Tesla Electric Company Recordings/Mailboat. The record is being released in conjunction with TESLA's summer tour opening up for DEF LEPPARD, where they will perform in front of over half a million fans.
You can now watch the video for "Save That Goodness" below. Said TESLA guitarist Frank Hannon: "Our new video for 'Save That Goodness' captures the essence of the song. It's a feel-good message with a hint of spirituality.
"TESLA the band is having a great time with our new friend and vocalist Debbi Blackwell, while performing with our old friend Phil Collen. The location glues it all together in a turn of the century classic chapel that conveys an old time feeling of gospel, while the band has fun playing new rock and roll and blending the two."
Over the course of their thirty-year career, which started in 1986, the iconic Sacramento melodic hard rock quintet — Frank Hannon [guitar], Brian Wheat [bass], Jeff Keith [lead vocals], Troy Luccketta [drums], and Dave Rude [guitar] — has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and played to sold-out crowds across the globe. The 21st century has become something of a renaissance for TESLA. Most recently, 2014's "Simplicity" bowed at #14 on The Billboard 200. The group ignited ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in addition to scorching stages at festivals such as Rocklahoma, Graspop Metal Meeting and Sweden Rock Festival as well as the cruise Monsters Of Rock. As they prepare to cut their ninth full-length album with Phil Collen in the producer's chair, TESLA takes another monumental leap forward as they glance back on "Mechanical Resonance Live!" Roadrunner Records group KING 810 has released the second gripping track from their forthcoming album, "La Petite Mort Or A Conversation With God". "Alpha & Omega", which made its world premiere today on Sirius XM's Liquid Metal, is available now along with an official music video, which can be seen below. The clip was conceptualized and directed entirely by KING 810 frontman David Gunn and was filmed in an abandoned church located in Detroit, Michigan. "La Petite Mort Or A Conversation With God", KING 810's follow-up to their provocative and acclaimed debut LP, "Memoirs Of A Murderer", is set to arrive on September 16.
Produced by Josh Schroeder, Justyn Pilbrow and KING 810 and recorded in Bay City, Michigan, "La Petite Mort Or A Conversation With God" finds KING 810 taking listeners deep into the dark heart of Flint. Far from a retread of their acclaimed debut, "La Petite Mort" — translating to "The Little Death" — is an inspired, holistic body of work that marks a profound evolutionary leap for the restless and driven souls of KING 810. The title itself is a reference to the duel themes of the records: the real-life violence and despair of Flint that builds the basis of Gunn's narrative and secondly, the steady desensitization and terminal closing down of the human spirit experienced when confronted with those real-life conditions. Entwined around that conceptual core is an omnipresent haze of dark sexuality and desperation that provides "La Petite Mort" with some of its most unnerving moments. "La Petite Mort" kicks down the door and delivers grim realities with powerful album stand outs like the ferocious "Alpha & Omega" and powerful title track, "La Petite Mort". As the album takes listeners on a journey to enlightenment via Gunn's self-reflection, it continually builds upon a diverse musical palette showcasing dark ambient electronica ("Wolves Run Together"), street-level poetry ("War Time" featuring Trick Trick) and grand string arrangements ("Black Swan"). For KING 810, the little deaths of "La Petite Mort" bring a transcendental empowerment which takes hold throughout the album's stark narrative. Earlier this year KING 810 took action as a pillar of the Flint community with the release of new music taking aim at the water crisis devastating their hometown. The band released two new tracks: "We Gotta Help Ourselves", a poignant track supported by a partnership with local Flint outlet Savage Village who created a unique T-shirt design, and "Crow's Feet", which was featured on "Not Safe To Drink: Music For Flint Water Crisis Relief", a charity compilation. All proceeds from both the T-shirt design and compilation will be donated to The Community Foundation Of Greater Flint's Flint Child Health & Development Fund.

OF MICE & MEN has premiered "Real", the stunning companion video to the band's recently released single. Check it out below.
"Real" is taken from OF MICE & MEN's much-anticipated new album, "Cold World", set for a September 9 release on Rise Records. The band began giving fans a sneak preview of the album with the release of first track/video "Pain", the video for which has already racked up more than 2.1 million YouTube views. Next came the audio for "Real", which premiered on SiriusXM's Octane.
Fans can get "Pain" and "Real" as instant downloads by pre-ordering the album.
Directed by Max Moore, the "Real" video is dedicated to the memory of 14-year-old Cassy Colunga, who recently passed away after battling brain cancer. The band first met with Cassy through the Living The Dream Foundation and upon hearing that her condition worsened, arranged for a visit while recording the album. They spent the day with Cassy and her family, brought her to the studio for a preview of the record (she was the first person outside of the band, producer and engineer to hear the album) and recorded her handclaps for "The Lie", an epic "Cold World" track that finds Carlile venting his frustrations about the medical system and "calling out the one percent for not taking care of the people they should be," he explains. "Now Cassy's name and the sound of her clapping hands are on the record," says Carlile. "It's something that captures that moment and that relationship forever. When we think about everything we went through to make this record, that's something that we'll never forget."
For the "Real" video, the band worked with The Marfan Foundation, Living The Dream Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and asked fans to submit video footage of themselves holding signs that answered the question, "What makes you feel real?"
In an interview with Rolling Stone in which he discusses his daily battle with Marfan syndrome, Carlile also talked about the making of the video. "We shot it in Portland, Oregon, during a day off from tour," he said. "We asked fans to submit footage holding up poster boards that explain what makes them feel real. The images that pop up mention everything from music to foster care to activism to the Marfan community to St. Jude's hospital. We even had some fans in the studio while we were recording, just to include them more in the process."
After wrapping up the remaining dates on their summer arena tour with MARILYN MANSON and SLIPKNOT, OF MICE & MEN will celebrate the release of "Cold World" with a string of special album release shows in Los Angeles, New York, Cincinnati and New Orleans. Those performances will see the band performing "Cold World" live in its entirety for the first time ever. The shows will take place between the band's scheduled performances at a number of major festivals in the U.S. Tickets are available and bundled with a copy of "Cold World". OF MICE & MEN's headlining U.K. tour comes next, kicking off September 30 in Birmingham.
TYKETTO's music video for the song "Reach" can be seen below. The song is the title track of the band's new album, which will be released on October 14 via Frontiers Music Srl.
After five years of relentless touring that included playing on some of the most prestigious stages on the planet, TYKETTO took their revitalized energy in to the studio in the spring of 2016. The sessions took place at the legendary Rockfield Studios (QUEEN, RUSH, OASIS) in Wales. Musically, the band is truly at the top of their game, with their muscular brand of melodic rock delivered with the finest arrangements and awesome performances.
Lead vocalist Danny Vaughn comments: "Although we only had planned on recording ten songs for 'Reach', we were so pleased with everything, we decided to keep all twelve songs on the record.
"We unanimously decided on 'Reach' as the title of the album as it defines who this band is in 2016.
"We have a new energy, some incredible new members, and a fresh outlook toward the future.
"All of us have pushed each other beyond our limits to make what we feel is a pinnacle record in our catalog."
Adds drummer and founding member Michael Clayton Arbeeny: "Many bands who have been out as long as we have feel they need to fit into a preconceived notion of what their fans expect to hear.
"Following in the footsteps of icons such as QUEEN, LED ZEPPELIN and Prince, we have decided to expand our musical boundaries and introduce our friends around the world to TYKETTO 2016.
"Rest assured that all the songs on 'Reach' still carry the trademark melodies and choruses our fans have grown to love over the decades.
"The band is feeling stronger and performing better than ever and we can’t wait to share this music with the world."
In addition to Vaughn and Arbeeny, the 2016 lineup of TYKETTO includes Chris Green (guitar and vocals), Ged Rylands (keyboards and vocals) and Chris Childs (bass).

Professionally filmed video footage of METALLICA performing its new song "Hardwired" live for the first time Saturday night (August 20) during the band's headlining concert at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota can be seen below.
"Hardwired" is taken from METALLICA's tenth studio album, "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct", which will be released on November 18 via Blackened Recordings. The long-awaited follow-up to 2008's "Death Magnetic" consists of two discs, containing a dozen songs and nearly 80 minutes of music.
METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich told Fox 9 that the band played "Hardwired" "all in the same room" for the first time this past Monday, August 15 in preparation for the Minneapolis concert. He said: "This is as fresh off the assembly line as rock and roll gets."
The drummer talked to Rolling Stone about the creation of "Hardwired". He said: "That's actually the last song we wrote for the record. We started this album by throwing different ideas around. The shape of it, as a collection of songs, didn't come into focus until we were deep into it. At that point, the songs were getting tighter, shorter and leaner."
He continued: "A couple of months ago, we were sitting there taking stock of the record and thought maybe we should write one more fast, little crazy song, and that became 'Hardwired'. It just kind of happened. I think James [Hetfield, METALLICA frontman] and I wrote and recorded it in less than a week, which, for us, is basically a nanosecond."
"Hardwired...To Self-Destruct" was produced by Greg Fidelman with Hetfield and Ulrich. The band recorded the disc at its own studio and is still putting the finishing touches on the LP.
According to Ulrich, METALLICA wrote most of the songs for "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct" in the fall of 2014 and the spring of 2015. The band's initial goal with the new record was "to continue where we left off," the drummer said. "Since 'Death Magnetic', we've been on a roll: We did the Lou Reed stuff, a Ronnie Dio-RAINBOW medley, a DEEP PURPLE cover and obviously the ['Through The Never'] movie took two years. Greg Fidelman has been working with us full time since then. We haven't had time to sit down and asses what we're doing. So it wasn't until farther into the process that we took stock of what we were doing and asked what we were trying to say with the album. That's when things came more into shape and became more coherent. But we didn't work with a mission statement."
Asked about his previous comment that the songs on "Hardwired" would sound "less frenetic" than those on "Death Magnetic", Ulrich explained: "Most of the songs are simpler. We introduce a mood and we stick to it, rather than songs we've done where one riff happens and we go over here and then over there and becomes a journey through all these different soundscapes. The songs are more linear. And by 'less frenetic,' I mean there are certainly less starts and stops in the songs. It cruises along a little bit more than the last record."
"Hardwired...To Self-Destruct" will be issued on double CD, vinyl and digital download. A deluxe version will feature a bonus disc containing the riffs that formed the origins of the album along with "The Lords Of Summer", which the band debuted on tour a couple of years ago.
KORN's Ryan Valdez-directed video for the song "Insane" can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's upcoming album, "The Serenity Of Suffering", which will be released on October 21. The follow-up to 2013's "The Paradigm Shift" was helmed by Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, who has previously worked with FOO FIGHTERS, DEFTONES, MASTODON and RUSH, among others. The CD features a guest appearance by SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor on the song "A Different World".
"The Serenity Of Suffering" marks the band's return to Roadrunner, which previously released 2010's "Korn III - Remember Who You Are" and 2011's "The Path Of Totality".

The official video for the song "Rotting In Vain", which stars actor Tommy Flanagan ("Sons Of Anarchy", "Gladiator"), can be seen below. The clip, which taps into the dark underbelly of a bizarre world, was lensed by famed rock video director Dean Karr.
The cover art for "The Serenity Of Suffering" was created by acclaimed artist Ron English. It depicts a teenage KORN fan at a dystopian acid-nightmare funfair who is clutching a disembowelled and skeletal version of the doll who adorned 1999's "Issues". KORN frontman Jonathan Davis told Rolling Stone about the track: "'Rotting In Vain' was written about being in that black place, being in situations that I don't like in life — be it relationships, or feeling when you're stuck and you're just being abused or you don't like where you're at, and you just sit there and rot. It takes you years and years to figure out how to claw your way out. That's where 'Rotting In Vain' came from. I'm just sitting there, fucking dying and letting it happen for years and years and not helping myself to get out of that place. That's the vibe that inspired the song."
"The Serenity Of Suffering" marks the second KORN album since the return of guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, who said, "This is a record to me that the intensity of KORN is back, and the live energy. Raw energy is there."
KORN's co-headlining tour with ROB ZOMBIE, "Return Of The Dreads", kicked off on July 19 in Englewood, Colorado. That trek winds down on September 3 in Bristow, Virginia.
KORN will also hit the road this fall with co-headliners BREAKING BENJAMIN for the "Nocturnal Underground Tour", which will kick off on September 24 in Fargo, North Dakota and run through late October.
Zakk Wylde (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, OZZY OSBOURNE) has released an all-new video for the track "Sleeping Dogs", featuring a guest appearance on vocals by SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor. The song is featured on Zakk's "Book Of Shadows II" album, which was released in April via Entertainment One Music (eOne Music).
Asked why he doesn't appear on the first radio version of "Sleeping Dogs", Corey recently told the WRIF radio station: "It was weird. 'Cause they wanted to go with it as a single, and my record company, my record label, was worried about them going right away, because they didn't want it to clash with one of my songs. It's so stupid, the politics, man. I was, like, 'C'mon! It's a killer tune!' If it wasn't, I wouldn't have done it, especially being friends with Zakk. So it was just one of those things where they kind of had to hold it back. They did a version without me that… it was actually the one that I heard, that Zakk sent to me. He was just, like, 'I want you to sing on that.' I was, like, 'Yeah! Goddamn it!' So, either way, it sounds great. It's such a great song. And it really represents everything about him that you love, especially that tune. It's got that somber, almost like an ALLMAN BROTHERS vibe to it. And plus, he's just shredding like crazy. And he's such a great singer, too, so it was really cool to be on that."
Taylor also talked about his Zakk collaboration in a separate interview with WZOR. He said: "It's something that we've been threatening to do for a long time. [Zakk] and I go way, way back — like 2001 is when we really started to become friends. And over the years, we've both been through some serious stuff, and we've landed on the other side of it, and it's just gotten better and better. So when he hit me up, he was just, like, 'I've got this tune. I think it'd really be great [for you] to be a part of it.' And I was, like, 'Absolutely.' 'Cause I've always wanted to do something with him. I love his guitar playing. I love the fact that he's got one foot in the greasy heavy metal and also another foot in his love for just that southern rock roots. And I'm the way; that's a part of the stuff that I grew up listening to. And it was perfect. That song was so good, and it was something that I'd never really done before, and I was just, like, 'I could really get into that.' And that's why I love doing tunes like that that are so left of what people would expect from me. And, honestly, that's the only reason I do guest spots — if it's different. Plus it was Zakk, and it was just fun."
Zakk's first solo release in 20 years, "Book Of Shadows II" was the follow-up to 1996's "Book Of Shadows", a classic album Wylde released between his work with Ozzy Osbourne that has since become a fan favorite.

Peaceville Records has announced the signing of US blackened noise occultists T.O.M.B. for the release of their impending Fury Nocturnus album, currently set for release on October 21st. A video for the new song “Abysmal Channeling” can be found below.
Through 18 years of existence, T.O.M.B. (Total Occultic Mechanical Blasphemy) has created a multitude of horrific, spell-binding sound structures across thirteen different releases including compilations, splits, EPs and LPs. During that time, the project has devoted itself to developing material with an essence directly derived from areas and elements associated with death, paranormal activity and occult practices.
Formed in 1998, and inspired by projects such as Abruptum, Havohej, Samael, Sunno))) and Wardruna, T.O.M.B. members No-One, B. Zimimay and Samantha Viola – the trio also notable as King Dude-signed act Dreadlords - orchestrated their latest recordings into thirteen hypnotic and malicious tracks, resulting in a ritualistic album outside of the boundaries of contemporary ambient, doom, industrial, noise or traditional black metal music. When creating these field recording soundscapes, certain necromantic instrumentation was used: human and animal bone, cemetery crypt doors, tombstones and coffins, and audio EVP equipment.
Key musicians contributing their craft throughout Fury Nocturnus are legendary drummer Hellhammer of Mayhem, shaman doom guitarist John Litchko of Goreaphobia/Necrotion and the mighty death industrial noise artist Grant Richardson from the project Gnawed, along with famous sound engineer Alan Douches of West Westside studios in New York. Artwork for Fury Nocturnus appears courtesy of Watain’s Erik Danielsson.
T.O.M.B. - “With the release of Fury Nocturnus under the banner of Peaceville Records, T.O.M.B. will now enter a new era in composing nefarious noise frequencies; giving new life to the sonic musical sorcery we choose to conduct. It is a true honor to have T.O.M.B. recognized by a label that for decades has been historical in providing a solid foundation and support-mechanism for their individual artists to flourish, within the realms of extreme music. Peaceville's acknowledgment of T.O.M.B.'s authentic approach and past accomplishments is extremely exciting, and we are completely grateful to be granted the opportunity to be a part of such a professional and prestigious label.”
