Now completely remastered with previously unreleased bonus tracks, including the highly sought-after "Concrete Cancer" demo, expanded artwork, never-before-seen photos and extended liner notes from frontman Scott "Wino" Weinrich, this is the definitive edition of THE OBSESSED's self-titled debut, a true piece of doom history!

Direct support will be provided by COBALT and IRON TONGUE on select dates. The band has also announced additional U.S. winter tour dates with CLUTCH and DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT.

THE OBSESSED's first studio album in over twenty years, "Sacred", was released on April 7 via Relapse Records.

The first in a series of webisodes featuring footage from the making of EVANESCENCE's next album, "Synthesis", can be seen below.

In the first episode of "Inside Synthesis", we get introduced to the new disc from EVANESCENCE and gain some insight into the process.

"Synthesis" is due on November 10. The effort features full orchestration in a completely synthetic world of beats and sounds, with help from arranger and composer David Campbell. "Synthesis" will contain two new EVANESCENCE songs in addition to fan favorites re-recorded with a live orchestra and electronica. The album includes guest performance by famed violinist Lindsey Stirling on "Hi-Lo", one of the two new tracks on the album.

EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee described the inspiration behind the other new song, "Imperfection": "For me, this is the most important song on the album. I struggled with the lyrics for a long time because there was a lifetime of work to live up to and I wasn't sure what to say or how to be good enough. When it finally started pouring out of me, it was undeniable. I had no choice. It's for all the people we've lost, all the people who we could lose, to suicide and depression. I'm singing from the perspective of the person left behind, the person in the waiting room. It's a plea to fight for your life, to stay. Don't give in to the fear — I have to tell myself that every day. Nobody is perfect. We are all imperfect, and it's precisely those imperfections that make us who we are, and we have to embrace them because there's so much beauty in those differences. Life is worth fighting for. You are worth fighting for."

The "Synthesis Live" tour will launch on October 14 on the West Coast. Like the album, "Synthesis Live" will feature a reimagining of some of EVANESCENCE's best-loved songs with the spotlight on full orchestra, electronics combined with the band and Lee's virtuoso piano and voice.

"This is a total passion project for me. There are so many layers in our music, underneath the huge drums and guitars," explained Lee. "I've always wanted to shine a light on some of the gorgeous David Campbell arrangements and programming elements in our songs, and that idea snowballed into completely re-doing them with full orchestra, not just strings, elaborate programming and experimentation.

"This will be our first time touring with orchestra and I'm so excited to perform this way — really focus on the vocals, and the emotion and the story we've built over the years. I'm also really excited about the new material on the album. Besides the two new songs, there are some really beautiful instrumental in-between moments. The whole thing flows like a big, dynamic soundtrack."

Lee told Graspop.be about "Synthesis": "It's different in a way that it's still coming from the roots of what EVANESCENCE was conceived to be,. It's really a beautiful project. A lot of our old songs are getting a whole new life in a way where we're getting to experience the focus being this beautiful, full orchestra. It's also a lot of electronic, cool elements — parts that have always been part of our music. It hasn't been full orchestra before — it's just been mainly strings — but just taking it to very beautiful, classical and epic and groovy place. Oh, it feels so good. There's some new stuff on it too, but it's mostly old stuff [reimagined]."

Lee also talked in more detail about the making of "Synthesis", explaining: "As far as the conception, basically, you work in demo land first and just create the arrangements of songs. I went through all the master sessions of, say, 'Bring Me To Life', and [I would] pull out all the stuff and listen to it and then chop it up and decide, 'Oh, maybe this part needs to be longer. Maybe this part at the beginning will be just strings and piano.' Just figure out what you're gonna do and build a map. And working with David Campbell, who has done all the string arrangements for EVANESCENCE for all three albums now doing full orchestra, just going back and forth with him and our producer Will and then each other, just throwing ideas in a Dropbox and basically just playing tennis back and forth for months. We finally recorded the orchestra. It sounds just gorgeous. I can't wait to finish the thing."

"Midnight Madness", the new video from international metal superstars DRAGONFORCE, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's latest album, "Reaching Into Infinity", which was released on May 19 via earMUSIC on CD, LP and a special-edition CD and DVD. The follow-up to 2014's "Maximum Overload" marks the band's third full-length studio release with singer Marc Hudson, who joined the group in 2011 following the departure of original frontman ZP Theart (now in SKID ROW).

DRAGONFORCE guitarist Herman Li says: "Many fans have asked us over the years what's it like working in the studio on an album. The music video from the latest song to be released from the 'Reaching Into Infinity' album, 'Midnight Madness', has the perfect vibe to take the fans behind the scene and see what we get up to!"

The bulk of the recording sessions for "Reaching Into Infinity" took place at Fascination Street studios in Örebro, Sweden with producer Jens Bogren, who has previously worked with OPETH, THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT, AMON AMARTH, KATATONIA, SOILWORK and SYMPHONY X, to name a few. The band also laid down tracks while touring their "Killer Elite" best-of album, utilizing Lamerluser Studios in London, U.K.; Dark Lane Studios in Witney, U.K.; as well as the band's own Evil1 Studios in Charleville-Mézières, France and Shredforce One Studios in California.

"We were flying out, playing a festival, then back into the studio, then back out again," explained DRAGONFORCE bassist Frédéric Leclercq, who also handled the majority of songwriting on this album. "It was very intense and very tiring. I obviously played bass but also a lot of rhythm guitar, electric and acoustic, and lost my temper a few times. I think we all did at some point, because we wanted to deliver nothing but the best." For their seventh studio album, DRAGONFORCE have opened up their sound like never before, capturing the fierce, forlorn and fun with both menace and melody. "I think we have proven that playing fast was something we were good at, so this time I wanted to bring even more diversity into our music," Frédéric continued. "It's great to challenge ourselves instead of staying in a comfort zone, and I really wanted to experiment with Marc's vocals. I think people are going to be surprised at his brutality."

"Reaching Into Infinity" is DRAGONFORCE's first album to feature Gee Anzalone, the Italian drummer who has laid down an insanely impressive performance to provide the perfect backbone to the DRAGONFORCE sound, which, of course, still boasts the bands trademark crazy-fast solos, courtesy of guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman.

"The title of the album explains pretty much what we are trying to do with our music," Frédéric concluded. "Today's world is really crazy — there is fear of the future, uncertainty. But the power of music is infinite, and it can give strength and hope to people."

Shut Up & Rock On conducted an interview with QUEENSRŸCHE singer Todd La Torre prior to the band's August 5 performance at the Clearfield County Fair in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. You can now listen to the chat below.

Asked about the progress of the songwriting sessions for QUEENSRŸCHE's next studio album, Todd said: "We're just kind of finishing up the songs that are there. And due to some scheduling issues, we had to push recording back from… Originally, we were gonna start in September, but it'll be October now. So not far off. After this, we've got shows all month, fly dates all month in August, and then some stuff in September. And then October we'll start doing pre-productiong and recording. We still have some shows throughout the year, but just kind of tidying up what's there now, the music."

Regarding the musical direction of the follow-up to 2015's "Condition Hüman" album, Todd said: "It's still a little early, because a lot changes in pre-production. So you say, 'Okay, well, let's take this out and change this and swap that,' and you come up with new ideas. I think it'll be a little more uptempo than the last one — probably some more faster-paced songs. Kind of eclectic, but hopefully once it's all done, it'll have a more uniform sound."

La Torre also talked about the status of his debut solo album, which he has been slowly putting together for the past few years with his "lifelong friend" Craig Blackwell. "That is still in the works," he said. "A lot more material has developed [in recent months]. It's kind of hard because QUEENSRŸCHE, that takes all my time."

Todd said that his solo project will "be pretty heavy. In fact, [Craig] just sent me some other stuff the other day that has some elements of black metal," he added. "It's just gonna be probably just a very power-groove thrash metal album."

He added: "QUEENSRŸCHE is very special and very unique. This is definitely much heavier. I would say along the lines of… if I had to categorize it, somewhere between FIGHT and PANTERA — like, the riffs — and maybe a little bit of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, but with my vocal stylings."

According to Todd, his solo record will provide him with an opportunity to explore other vocal styles that he hasn't been able to utilize in QUEENSRŸCHE.

"I'm gonna have a mixture," he said. "Some stuff is very deep gutturals, some of it will be a lot more of the raspy, scratchy side of my voice. Some clean melodic stuff too, but overall, it'll be just very aggressive, I think — very aggressive."

Helming QUEENSRŸCHE's next record once again will be Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who previously worked on "Condition Hüman".

The upcoming disc will be QUEENSRŸCHE's third to feature La Torre who joined the group in 2012.

"Condition Hüman" debuted at No. 27 on The Billboard 200 chart, having shifted 14,000 equivalent album units in the week ending October 8, 2015.

KAMELOT's Casey Grillo made his live debut with with QUEENSRŸCHE on April 1 at Sycuan Casino in El Cajon, California. He is filling in for regular QUEENSRŸCHE drummer Scott Rockenfield, who is taking time off from the band's touring activities to spend time with his newborn son, appropriately named Rockson.

All Pigs Must Die has shared the punishing new track "Blood Wet Teeth," the second single from their upcoming album Hostage Animal, due out through Southern Lord October 27th.

The band offers, "Hostage Animal is the most dynamic but efficient of our albums. The idea was to get to a wider spectrum without meandering along the way. We enjoy playing together and making music that is as heavy as possible. Getting that feeling like you're about to break apart when you are making violent music is something we chase after any time we are putting together new material."

Four years since the release of their last full-length, All Pigs Must Die have return with Hostage Animal, a 10-song album that distills aggressive music to its purest tenets. The album will be available on October 27th via Southern Lord.

The band, now a 5-piece with the addition of Brian Izzi (Trap Them) on guitar, is comprised of some of the most well-seasoned musicians on the eastern seaboard - Kevin Baker (The Hope Conspiracy), Ben Koller (Converge), Matt Woods, and Adam Wentworth (both of Bloodhorse).

Hostage Animal is their most dynamic collection of work thus far and the album’s first single, “A Caustic Vision”, is an aural representation of the record as a whole; concise, intense, aggressive and carrying a bleak world view. Listen to “A Caustic Vision” below.

APMD unleashed their first full length in 2011 with God Is War, and the 30-minute rip was a nod to primeval disdain and anger. Exploring facets of human conflict one track at a time, God Is War introduced the world to a whole new spectrum of rage. In 2013, APMD upped the ante with Nothing Violates This Nature. Honing their craft with more speed and filth, APMD pushed their sound closer to the edge of the cliff.

Now, in 2017, the band is gearing up for the release of Hostage Animal which, like its predecessors, was recorded at Kurt Ballou’s GodCity Studio. But that is where the similarities end; Hostage Animal ushers in 10 new songs that pulverize, gnash, and whirl with the band’s most punishing delivery yet.

Hostage Animal showcases that All Pigs Must Die are far more than the sum of their parts, and their fusion of crust punk, hard core and metal is more ferocious than ever before.

Australian thrash / grind metallers King Parrot have revealed the new music video directed by Dan Farmer of Farmwalker Films. The song "Piss Wreck" appears on the band's new album, "Ugly Produce", set to be released this Friday (September 22nd) via Agonia Records in Europe (Housecore Records in North America andRocket/EVP in Australia).

This latest instalment from King Parrot exceeds the wildest expectations for an acerbic and unapologetic slab of thrash metal. Fierce lyrics, spiked with grindcore intensity, and dusted with shades of hardcore-infested punk attitude, the album sets the bar higher than its predecessor, Dead Set, from 2015.

Ugly Produce offers ten tracks of distinctively punishing and powerful anthems, veined deeply in the extreme underground sound. After recording the previous album in the US, 2017 saw the band head back home to where it all began - recording their third full-length album with Blood Duster's Jason PC, at the enigmatic Goatsound Studios. The mastering was done by Brad Boatwright at Audiosiege Studio (Sleep, High On Fire, Nails) in the US, while the cover artwork was created by Boyd Synnott and Simon Robins for GraphOrlock.

Nancy Wilson, one of the founding members of the legendary Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame group Heart, has teamed up with former Prince’s New Power Generation band member and R&B singer Liv Warfield to form the soulful, rock super group, Roadcase Royale.

The band will release their debut album, First Things First, on September 22nd via Loud & Proud Records. The album was produced by fellow Roadcase Royale band member Dan Rothchild (Heart) along with the band. The album track, “The Dragon”, is available for streaming below, courtesy of Billboard, who reveal that the song started life as Wilson's open letter to the late Alice In Chains frontman Layne Staley while he was in the throes of addiction. And in the wake of this year's suicides by Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington, the message behind the album's heaviest track is even stronger. Read more at Billboard.com.

The name of the band, Roadcase Royale came to the group during a backstage meeting they had last year.  Wilson said, “When I came up with the name Roadcase Royale it was an interesting symbol to me since the big heavy-duty road cases that our amps drums and guitars travel in are much like the musicians they accompany on the road. Strong and regal looking yet all scuffed up and dented, covered in funny stickers that tell the story of a crazy traveling circus.”

In addition to Wilson (guitar) and Warfield (vocals), Roadcase Royale features Ryan Waters (lead guitarist) along with Heart members Chris Joyner (keys), Dan Rothchild (bass), and Ben Smith (drums). The sextet made their live debut March 25th, 2017 at the 5th Annual Rock Against MS Benefit Concert in Los Angeles.

Belgian dark rock outfit Diablo Blvd will release their new album, Zero Hour, in North America via Nuclear Blast/Metalville this Friday, September 22nd. In the new video below, the band perform their new single, “Summer Has Gone” live on Belgian national TV at the popular late-night talk show, Van Gils & Gasten.

Zero Hour is a dark eleven-track groove monster with haunting melodies, huge guitar riffs, driving bass and pounding drums. Taking their inspiration from both classic metal acts like Type O Negative, Metallica and Black Sabbath and eighties new wave bands like Killing Joke, Sisters Of Mercy and Gang Of Four - Diablo Blvd craft a unique sound ideally suited for these dark times.

Alex Agnew had to say on the announcement, "I once heard somebody say that in troubling times like these, there can never be enough bands using their music and lyrics as a platform to object and to protest. It’s safe to say that Zero Hour is our contribution to that statement and although I realize there’s too much beyond our control, it would be an even bigger crime not to speak about it.”

Agnew continues, “The idea behind the album title is that the protective shell we live in can no longer hide what is really going on. The world outside is catching up to us. Just like on the album cover (see below) where a beautiful sculpture is burning on the inside, we have to realize that what we once knew is no longer there. It’s just a matter of time before we will experience some kind of ‘reset’ whatever that may be. Both ‘Animal’ and ‘Sing From The Gallows’ deal with subjects of politics, classical religions and newer versions of mass manipulation and how it messes up our everyday lives. These 2 tracks formed the blueprint of what Zero Hour is all about and that’s exactly why we decided to release these videos at the same time. SMASHING PUMPKINS frontman Billy Corgan today announced "Pillbox", a silent film set to music from his forthcoming Rick Rubin-produced solo album "Ogilala", due out October 13 via BMG. Corgan today also shared the film's official trailer which can be seen below.

"I thought it was a different approach to listening to an album, to watch it in essence with a related, albeit non-linear, silent movie. Art is art. And together the two pieces create a work unto itself," shared Corgan on the film's connection to his new album.

Inspired by a hero's journey, "Pillbox" was written by Corgan, and directed by Corgan alongside longtime collaborator Linda Strawberry. The film is a Strawberry-Blank Assassin production and stars: Harry Holmes, Rai Quartley, Anna Steers, Kalpana Pot, Hardeep Manak, Los Angela, Paul Seroka, Amelya Hensley and Ike Catcher.

Corgan announced "Ogilala" last month and shared its striking first track, "Aeronaut". Recorded at Shangri La studios in Malibu, "Ogilala" presents Corgan's distinctive vocals and melodies across a sparse, but rich palette of acoustic guitar, piano, and strings.

"Ogilala" will be available digitally as well as physically on CD and 180-gram gatefold vinyl. A limited-edition opaque blue vinyl will be available directly from Corgan's webstore and a limited-edition pink vinyl will be available at select indie retailers. Next month, Corgan will embark on a solo acoustic North American tour that kicks off on October 14 in Brooklyn, New York and wraps up on November 12 in Los Angeles with a four-night stint at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. These intimate performances will see Corgan perform songs from "Ogilala", as well as a second set which will span works from his earliest days through his years as the frontman of the SMASHING PUMPKINS and beyond.

Conceived and recorded in the winter and spring of 2016, "Scaling Up" encompasses all the influences and genres in which the Swedish musician has been involved in since the start of his career. Besides the obvious resemblances to EUROPE's classic sound, Kee also gives a nod to his past in EASY ACTION. Speaking of EUROPE (particularly the "Prisoners In Paradise" era), Kee took two officially unreleased songs, "Wild Child" and "Don't Know How To Love No More", and rearranged and re-recorded them from scratch. LACUNA COIL's month-long September tour with EPICA marks the Italian band's first U.S. tour dates in over a year, as they continue to support their latest album, 2016's "Delirium". Joining LACUNA COIL and EPICA on "The Ultimate Principle" tour are INSOMNIUM and ELANTRIS.

LACUNA COIL will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of its debut by playing a very special show, dubbed "Nothing Stands In Our Way", on January 19, 2018 at London, England's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.

LACUNA COIL's Andrea Ferro recently told the Impact metal channel that the band's fans will have to wait at least a couple of years for the follow-up to "Delirium". "Next year's gonna be twenty years of LACUNA COIL, so first we're preparing some surprises for next year, and then after that maybe we'll start working on a new record," he said. "So I don't think there will be a new record at least until 2019."

EPICA's new EP, "The Solace System", was released on September 1 via Nuclear Blast.

With their latest masterpiece, EPICA set new standards. 2016's "The Holographic Principle" is the most epochal, multi-layered, courageous and successful record of the band, reaching Top 10 chart position entries in the German, Dutch and Swiss album charts. Accordingly, all the tracks written for the album process are high quality, but not all songs have been put on the album. "This is only based on the fact that the record should not exceed seventy-six minutes," explained guitarist/vocalist Mark Jansen. Since the band didn't like the idea of a double CD, they finally decided to release an EP with six brand-new numbers, which were created during the creative phase of "The Holographic Principle".

"The Solace System" was recorded, mixed and mastered by Joost van den Broek and Jacob Hansen.

A previously unheard live recording of METALLICA performing its classic song "For Whom The Bell Tolls" can be streamed below. The track was recorded at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on August 3, 1986 and is taken from the upcoming reissue of METALLICA's seminal third album, "Master Of Puppets".

The concert, which was part of METALLICA's U.S. tour as the support act for OZZY OSBOURNE, saw the James Hetfield-fronted band playing with John Marshall on rhythm guitar, as James had broken his arm earlier that summer.

The LP has been remastered for the most advanced sound quality and will be available in various digital and physical configurations. "Master Of Puppets" was released on February 24, 1986 and was the first album METALLICA recorded after signing a major label deal with Elektra Records.

The set only reached No. 29 on the Billboard album chart but has sold over six million copies in the U.S. since.

It is the last record to feature bassist Cliff Burton, who was killed later that year in a tour bus crash.

Several songs from the album are still staples of METALLICA's live set, including "Battery", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" and the title track.

Many fans consider it METALLICA's finest album, a fact that the band acknowledged by playing it in its entirety on a European tour in 2006.

"Metallica: Back To The Front", the definitive story of "Master Of Puppets" and the tour that followed its release, hit bookstores and online sellers last September. A very special Collector's Edition of the book was made available two weeks earlier through Metallica.com and MoonriseMedia.net.

"That album, it's interesting, because from the moment it was released, it never went away," METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett said last year while promoting the book. "It still has not and there are no signs of it going away at all."

"It was still rebellious," METALLICA frontman James Hetfield said. "Back then, it was still the four of us in a van out to conquer the world."

"I really feel that a lot of the music on 'Master Of Puppets', we pulled it out of a deep place," Hammett added. "A lot of it, it's just so emotional, from the music to the lyrics to the guitar solos to even the arrangements. It's so dramatic."

Marilyn Manson's new song "Kill4me" can be streamed below. The track is taken from his new album, "Heaven Upside Down", which will be released on October 6. On the disc, he reunites with producer and film composer Tyler Bates following an epic collaboration on Manson's critically acclaimed 2015 release, "The Pale Emperor". Manson told Loudwire about"Kill4me": "'Would you kill for me? / I love you enough so I'll ask you again / Would you kill for me? / You won't be kissing me unless you kill for me.' It’s a great conversation that came to be.

"I don't like songs that ask questions," he continued. "Some might say 'Would you kill for me?' is a question. It's more of a veiled threat than a question. It's an ultimatum, I think. I don't like songs to generally ask questions because it seems not as certain as I feel that I am. I like to tell people this is how I feel, and I might want them to ask questions from it, but I'm not gonna ask the question. It's like a letter, like someone's gonna respond to it."

Manson performed four new songs during his recently completed European tour.

Manson revealed in a September 2016 interview that his new album would be "the last thing people would expect after hearing 'The Pale Emperor'." He explained: "Coming from the people who I've played it to, it's a combination of 'Antichrist Superstar' and 'Mechanical Animals' in feeling."

Manson added: "It wasn't my intent to go backwards. Everything goes in a full circle and it just becomes, without cannibalizing work from the past, the same thing, which is ultimately you. I'm a little over-anxious to release it, so it was done very quickly, but it's by far the most thematic and over-complicated thing that I've done. In a way, it's deceptively delightful to strangers. It's like the old saying that the devil's greatest secret is that people don't believe he exists."

German metal queen Doro Pesch is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of WARLOCK's "Triumph And Agony" album by performing the LP in its entirety at select shows around the globe.

"Triumph And Agony" was WARLOCK's fourth and final album. By the late 1980s, Pesch was the only original member remaining in the group, and under legal threats from former management, decided to carry on under the DORO banner rather than put her career on hold fighting over the WARLOCK name. (Pesch has since won back the right to use the WARLOCK moniker.)

Asked why now was the right time to go out and play the "Triumph And Agony" songs again, Doro said: "Well, because we have our thirtieth anniversary of this big record. It was called 'Triumph And Agony', and it was the biggest record. I think it was one of the best records. And I thought, 'Man, we have to play one time the whole album in its entirety,' and we never did before. And then I called my old guitar player, Tommy Bolan, and he played on the whole record, he played all the solos. And I asked him if he was into that idea, doing a couple of shows with just the 'Triumph And Agony' album and then some encores. And he said, 'Oh, let's do it. I'm ready.'"

In a 2000 interview with Metal Rules, Doro stated about WARLOCK: "I loved that so much and my heart and soul was so much into it. I was totally devastated when it broke up and it broke up not because of the band but because of all the bullshit around it. It was the record companies, the management, everything. The band had no control anymore — everybody else had, and the band did not. It was really tough and there were a lot of problems and I was totally heartbroken about it. But those times were awesome, man, it was awesome! I will always treasure them. I love to think about the great times."

Doro told Get Ready To Rock! that "everything fell into place" for WARLOCK after "Triumph And Agony" was released. "The record company was totally behind it, MTV put our song 'All We Are' on heavy rotation, which was a big plus, I must say, the fans were there and metal was at its peak between 1987 and 1988. Sometimes you do wish for everything to fall into place, but it's very rare that this happens as things need to work like a watch."

Doro's long-awaited follow-up to 2012's "Raise Your Fist" album will arrive in August 2018 and will be the German singer's first release since last year's "Love's Gone To Hell" single.

Doro's last release was a package titled "Strong And Proud - 30 Years Of Rock And Metal", which came out in June 2016 via Nuclear Blast. It contained three decades of Doro — three unforgettable nights — forever captured on three DVDs and two Blu-rays, including a two-hour-plus music movie.

It is now almost forty years to the day since the SEX PISTOLS "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols" was released and to mark this significant anniversary USM/UMC will revisit the out-of-print super deluxe edition of the album, which was originally issued in 2012.

Released in limited numbers at the time, this set is widely considered to be the definitive collection. This new, budget priced smaller-sized edition still boasts 3CDs which include the original studio album with 1977 B-sides, a disc of outtakes and one disc of 1977 live material. Additionally, there is a DVD featuring 1977 footage of the band playing live from the infamous boat party held on the River Thames, London, the Winter Gardens, Penzance in Cornwall and the Happy House, Stockholm, Sweden.

Bringing it all together is a forty-eight-page hardback book with narrative from music journalist Pat Gilbert plus rare photos from Bob Gruen, Barry Plummer, John Tiberi and Dave Wainwright.

Condensing the very essence of 1977, "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols" is the only studio album by the group, released amidst a furore of controversy and outrage, following their being dropped by not one but two record labels, banned from gigging in most parts of the U.K. and swearing live on TV. From its iconic day-glo cover designed by Jamie Reid in collaboration with the SEX PISTOLS to its risqué title which led to an infamous court case which the band won, the album encapsulates a moment in time when the SEX PISTOLS set the world of music on fire.

Former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd and his solo band have canceled their previously announced European tour.

The trek, which was scheduled to run from September 14 through November 6, was called off because of a combination of "a key bandmember" coming down with a virus and "unforeseen key logistical and technical issues," according to a statement released by Rudd's management, Wave 365 Media Limited. "Both Phil Rudd and his band," who were "were fully rehearsed and ready to travel," were "very keen to perform again in Europe and hope this ambition can be fully realized in 2018," the statement adds.

The statement goes on to say that "Phil Rudd remains in good health and circumstances beyond his control have taken place for which we duly apologize for any and all inconvenience caused to all the fans.

"It is our intention to tour Phil Rudd band in May and June 2018 and we would dearly like to reschedule our existing bookings for shows due this period," the statement concludes.

As previously reported, Rudd will release a new solo single, "Sun Goes Down", on September 29. The song was written about a period in Rudd's life when he found himself alone and starting his life again in a new country.

Rudd recently re-signed his long-standing drum sponsorship deal with German drum makers Sonor, signalling his determination to develop and record with his new band and continue what is already a remarkable career. He has also signed a new distribution deal with German company SPV.

Rudd, who has appeared on all but three of AC/DC's 18 studio albums, recently completed his first solo tour in support of his 2014 solo debut, "Head Job". It was the release of that album that led indirectly to Rudd's arrest and subsequent dismissal from AC/DC, with the drummer allegedly so angry at a personal assistant over the way the record was promoted that he threatened to have the man and his daughter killed.

Rudd revealed in August 2016 that he underwent an emergency procedure after suffering a heart attack. He told The New Zealand Herald: "I was just at home walking around and I started [to] feel, well, just funny. You know how you can feel funny? I had a strange pain in my chest. So my housekeeper took me to the hospital, when they hooked me up and did all these tests, turned out I had a big heart attack... my artery was all blocked up, and they said I had to stay in and have an operation."

Rudd's replacement in AC/DC is Chris Slade, who also did a three-year stint with the group from 1990 to 1993.

Rudd played with AC/DC from 1975 until 1983, and then again from 1994 through 2014. He first appeared on the band's second album, 1975's "T.N.T."

In late October, DELAIN will embark on the "Danse Macabre" tour, featuring special guest and frequent collaborator Marco Hietala from NIGHTWISH on all dates. SERENITY and CELLAR DARLING will provide support. DELAIN will follow the "Danse Macabre" tour with a string of dates in South America in late 2017 and a full North American tour with KAMELOT and BATTLE BEAST in the spring of 2018.

MACHINE HEAD drummer Dave McClain rejoined his former SACRED REICH bandmates on stage on Saturday, July 16 at Slim's in San Francisco, California to perform the classic SR song "Independent". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be viewed below.

McClain was a member of SACRED REICH from 1991 to 1995. He played on the "A Question" EP (1991) and the "Independent" (1993) and "Heal" (1996) albums before leaving to join MACHINE HEAD.

Formed in 1986, SACRED REICH is part of the second wave of thrash, along with TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL, DESTRUCTION and DARK ANGEL. Over the years, SACRED REICH has produced a catalog of politically charged aggressive songs that have stood the test of time.

SACRED REICH's last studio album, "Heal", came out in 1996. The band broke up in 2000 and remained inactive until 2006 when they received offers to play European festivals.

Since coming out of retirement more than a decade ago, SACRED REICH has almost exclusively played the European festival circuit every summer. But that changed this year as SACRED REICH is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of its classic album "Ignorance". To commemorate this milestone, the band is bringing its "30 Years Of Ignorance" tour around the world.

"Matriarch", a brand new song from THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, can be streamed below. The track is taken from the band's eighth full-length album, "Nightbringers", which will be released on October 6 via Metal Blade Records.

Rather than meticulously plan things out or stick rigidly to any kind of template, when it comes to writing, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER prefer to let things happen organically. In the hands of guitarist Brian Eschbach — who co-founded the band with frontman Trevor Strnad in 2001 — and new recruit Brandon Ellis (ARSIS, ex-CANNABIS CORPSE), "Nightbringers" is rich with dynamic riffs that are at once fresh and classic THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, resulting in a collection that shifts through many moods and effortlessly incorporates various elements of extreme metal. While Strnad explores a variety of themes and ideas with his lyrics, they are united by the album's title, which embraces a tenet that has been central to THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER's output since the very beginning.

"Death metal and nighttime are synonymous to me," Strnad explains. "We are the rulers of the darkened hours that the Christian good fears. A lot of archaic ideas that are still upheld — such as marriage and monogamy — came from Christianity, whether people want to acknowledge it or not, and to me, death metal has always been bucking that. It's 'being-the-villain music', because we're the enemy of Christianity, the enemy of all that is good and traditional. Death metal is for free thinkers, it's for showing people the path to inner strength and operating on your own will, instead of being told what to do and living in fear, and songs like the title track and 'Kings Of The Nightworld' are about leading a legion of awakened minds into battle."

This fall, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER will embark on a North American tour in support of "Nightbringers". The trek will run from October 6 through November 11 with a stop at this year's edition of Ozzfest Meets Knotfest on November 5. Support will be provided by SUFFOCATION, DECREPIT BIRTH, NECROT, WORMWITCH and EXHUMED on select dates.

Warrel Dane, the legendary vocalist of SANCTUARY and NEVERMORE, will return with his second solo album, currently created under the guidance of renowned producer Roy "Z" Ramirez (Bruce Dickinson, HALFORD, HELLOWEEN, Sebastian Bach) in 2018. "Shadow Work" is the follow-up to the acclaimed "Praises To The War Machine" (2008) and stylistically strays away from its predecessor, which leaned towards a goth-tinged, less metallic rock sound. First rough mixes already reveal that "Shadow Work" will offer darker, heavier, more complex songs, occasionally flirting with extreme metal by incorporating such elements as blast beats and combining this with Dane's unique, dramatic trademark vocals. As with the previous Dane solo tours, including the fifteenth-anniversary tour celebrating NEVERMORE's classic "Dead Heart In A Dead World", the lineup for the record will consist of Johnny Moraes (guitars), Thiago Oliveira (guitars), Fabio Carito (bass) and Marcus Dotta (drums), who all have been playing with the Dane since 2014. "Shadow Work" will be recorded during autumn 2017 and is expected to be released in the first half of 2018 via Century Media worldwide.

On June 22, 2017, NAPALM DEATH made history by being the first-ever grindcore band to play at the world-famous Glastonbury festival, and now you can relive the momentous occasion.

One of the most powerful performances to ever take place at U.K.'s Glastonbury, NAPALM DEATH's set was truly a spectacle to behold, completely flooring the massive crowd which had gathered — whether they were into grindcore or not.

NAPALM DEATH frontman Mark "Barney" Greenway said following the performance: "It's a paradox, because whilst we don't deliberately set out to shock people, needless to say, the music's extremely sonically violent, but actually what underpins it is peace, tolerance, equality, non-violence — but we still get a perverse kick out of wrecking people's heads."

Video and audio production company Infinite Ear was on hand at the festival to capture the magic, and has now released the full NAPALM DEATH Glastonbury set for you to watch again and again.

NAPALM DEATH's performance on the Truth Stage was part of the Earache Records-curated punk and metal event held in Glastonbury's Shangri-La area, which also included the Earache Express — a recycled London Underground tube carriage designed to provide a place for like-minded souls to congregate, as well as for those who just wanted to experience a different side of music than is typically offered at the festival. Also appearing as part of the lineup were EXTREME NOISE TERROR, Singaporean grindcore trio WORMROT, former CRASS frontman Steve Ignorant, punk legends DEAD KENNEDYS and more.

UK based black metal band Dawn Ray'd have officially signed to Prosthetic Records. The politically-charged three-piece from Liverpool will release their first full length album, The Unlawful Assembly, on digipack compact disc on November 24th, with the digital release hitting all platforms on October 27th. Pre-order the CD now at this location. The LP will be out on October 2nd via Feast of Tentacles in the UK and EU and Halo Of Flies in North America.

The Unlawful Assembly further sharpens Dawn Ray'd's precise malevolent attack of melody and blasts, delving deeper and reaching beyond the depths explored in their 2015 debut EP, A Thorn, A Blight.

Recorded by Tom Dring at Vagrant Studios, The Unlawful Assembly is divided into two parts: The Wild Service and The Wild Magic; it is equal parts malice and spite; ethereality and exultation.

Dawn Ray'd are using the platform to express their political views and beliefs, which simply stated, are rooted in anarchism. The album as a whole can be dissected and examined on many levels however with the lyrical themes being as complex as the music.

The band have already made their presence known in the US through a recent summer tour with Michgan-based atmospheric black metal group Dakhma. They've done countless DIY shows throughout Europe and have played the Paranoya Fest in Germany, No Sanctuary in Croatia and Fluff Fest in Czech Republic.

The Unlawful Assembly is a multi-pronged attack, but with one consistent message: inaction is not an option.
