EAGLES – One Of These Nights Deluxe Edition Available In May

zoom
The Eagles’ 1975 studio album, One Of These Nights, was a milestone album for the band, earning them their first Grammy® Award and becoming the first of four consecutive #1 albums. Rhino will release a Deluxe Edition of the album on May 1, in advance of the band’s headlining performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and upcoming stadium dates as part of The Long Goodbye, Act III.

One Of These Nights (Deluxe Edition) will be available as a 3CD/Blu-ray set featuring a new mix of the original album, an unreleased, 16-song 1975 concert at Anaheim Stadium, and new Dolby Atmos and high-res stereo mixes. A 3LP version, released the same day, will include the new album mix and the full concert recording. The lacquers were cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.

Pre-order here.

Produced by Don Henley, the CD and vinyl editions include a new mix of the album by Rob Jacobs. Originally produced by Bill Szymczyk and recorded at Criteria Studios in Miami and the Record Plant in Los Angeles, One Of These Nights achieved quadruple Platinum certification and the single “Lyin’ Eyes” won the Grammy® Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

The unreleased live recording captures the Eagles’ performance at the Sunshine Festival in Anaheim on September 28, 1975. Recorded at the end of the tour for One Of These Nights, the show features Henley, Glenn Frey, Randy Meisner, Bernie Leadon, and Don Felder. Their set blends songs from that album (“Lyin’ Eyes,” “Take It To The Limit”) with hits from the group’s first three albums: “Take It Easy,” “Witchy Woman,” “Already Gone,” and “The Best Of My Love.” The show also finds the Eagles in a significant transition period, as it marks Leadon’s final performance with the band while Joe Walsh, who would become an official member months later, joins the group for the encore, performing his song “Rocky Mountain Way.” The penultimate song is a rousing cover of Chuck Berry’s “Carol,” a live staple of the band at the time, marking the first time a recording of the song has ever been included on an Eagles album.

As a preview of the live set, “Carol” is available today for streaming and download. Stream here, and listen below.

The Blu-ray that accompanies the CD set presents the album and the live performance in Dolby Atmos and high-resolution stereo. One Of These Nights (Deluxe Edition) and the Atmos mix of the original album will also be available digitally.

In January 2026, the Eagles became the first band to earn Quadruple Diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of more than 40 million units (40x Platinum) of Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, which remains the best-selling album of all time in the U.S. Additionally, the band’s legendary album, Hotel California, has been re-certified 28x Platinum by the RIAA, scoring the third best-selling album of all time. Before it was certified multi-Diamond, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 was the first album ever to be certified Platinum by the RIAA.

The band’s legacy continues onstage as the Eagles—Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey—are poised to set the record for longest-running Sphere residency as shows continue on Friday, March 20. Since opening on September 20, 2024, Eagles – Live In Concert At Sphere has drawn more than 700,000 fans across 52 sold-out performances, offering a one-of-a-kind immersive concert experience that provides the ultimate connection to the band’s legendary catalog. Following the Sphere dates, the band will launch The Long Goodbye, Act III, with stadium dates in Atlanta, Nashville, and Arlington.

In the fall of 1971, the Eagles formed, pioneered, and personified a uniquely American musical style, blending country, folk, R&B, rock, and pop sensibilities, and would go on to become one of the most creatively and commercially successful bands of all time. In today’s faddish, fractured rock landscape, the Eagles retain an appeal that transcends both generation and genre, cementing the band’s role as enduring musical icons. The Eagles have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scored six #1 albums and topped the singles chart five times. They earned six GRAMMY® Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016.
