TRENT REZNOR No Longer Working On 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'
According to The Pulse Of Radio, NINE INCH NAILS mainman Trent Reznor is no longer involved as either an actor or composer with the upcoming film "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", despite announcing earlier this month that he would both write the score and play a small role in the movie. Reznor posted a new update on the official NIN message board, writing, "As it turns out, I WON'T be working on (acting or scoring) 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' after all. There's no juicy story here, it's just that when the news mysteriously leaked out about my involvement I hadn't made up my mind completely, because various aspects of the project were changing. I felt the need to say something earlier this week because my inbox was filling up with speculation, and at that moment I thought I would be doing it. Confused yet? Apparently I am."
Reznor added, "Bottom line, I wish them the best with the film and I'm sure it will still be great."
He also mentioned the long-in-development HBO mini-series based on the 2007 NIN album "Year Zero", saying, "I forgot to mention we're still fully engaged with the 'Year Zero' mini-series, writing away."
Reznor and collaborator Atticus Ross won an Oscar last month for the score to the 2010 film "The Social Network". They're currently working on the music for "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", due out in December.
