Norwegian Balkan metallers Trollfest are going to release their new Album Helluva on February 24th via NoiseArt Records. The Trolls once more bring their mix of extreme metal and Balkan influences to a new level with an added brass section, combined with more Kaos.
Trollfest has presented Steel Sarah, the princess of perfume, the feminine fighter, the gentle gladiator! She is the tank on an enormous adventure led by another troll-dude, who shall be introduced later! She climbs caves and slays snakes with maximum feminine ferocity. Eat your heart out, Arnold Braunschweiger.
Trollfest states:
"We wanted a vintage look for this video, so we borrowed the time-machine from you-know-who and traveled back to 1987 to do this the right way. Some of you may not know this, but Manskow had his own talkshow for a couple of years back then. The whole deal was filmed live, no playback of lipsyncing at all (obviously), mastered it a great VHS-studio and threw it in the time-machine! Unfortunately we lost our way, ended up in the middle ages, forgot the tape somewhere around Camelot, but it was actually discovered last week by some geologists looking for geological stuff! Lucky break! So, here it is, guys! The first video from our upcoming album Helluva, out February 24th, 2017!"

Seattle-based heavy metal icons QUEENSRŸCHE have released a music video for their song "Bulletproof". The track is taken from the band's latest album, "Condition Hüman", which debuted at No. 27 on The Billboard 200 chart, having shifted 14,000 equivalent album units in the week ending October 8, 2015.
Speaking about the influence and subject matter for the clip, QUEENSRŸCHE vocalist Todd La Torre said: "'Bulletproof' is a journey through a relationship gone bad. However painful the relationship is, you still find a way to persevere.
"We elected to present the song in a live setting as a sharp contrast to the videos we've done for the 'Condition Hüman' album to help bring this chapter to a close and start the next journey."
The band plans to enter the studio in January to write and record the follow-up to "Condition Hüman" for a late 2017 release.
In a recent interview with the "Moshpit" show, La Torre stated about what it has been like writing and recording with QUEENSRŸCHE since he took over as lead vocalist in 2012: "It's been a wonderful experience. We're touring constantly throughout the year, and so we're like a family. We're great friends. The writing experience happens on the road, it happens when we go home…we all have our unique writing experiences with each other. I'll write something with just Parker [Lundgren, guitar] or I'll write something with just Michael [Wilton, guitar], or Michael and Eddie [Jackson, bass] will work on something, or Scott [Rockenfield, drums] will work on something on his own and throw it over to me. There's a lot of different configurations in how the writing goes, but it's a lot of fun. It's a great experience."
QUEENSRŸCHE recently embarked on a month-long headlining tour of the United States. Support on the trek came from ARMORED SAINT and MIDNIGHT ETERNAL.
Global Music Award-winning Nomadic Mongolian folk metal group, Tengger Cavalry, just released a brand new EP, entitled kAAn. Today, the band showcases the EP's socially-conscious themes by revealing the new music video for the title track, "kAAn", which puts oppression of nomadic cultures under the spotlight.
Much like our country's own Native American community, who are suffering from governmental and corporate oppression (i.e. Standing Rock), nomadic Mongolians have found their culture threatened by surrounding forces for generations. As brothers in nomadic culture, Tengger Cavalry penned "kAAn" as a beacon of support.
Watch the "kAAn" music video below, and read additional commentary from Tengger Cavalry frontman Nature Ganganbaigal regarding the band's cultural background and details behind the track and video at Huffington Post.
Ganganbaigal comments, "This century is the century of machine and industry. Nomadic culture is falling apart everywhere around the world. Grasslands and plains are being exploited and it is becoming more acceptable to step into the sacred land of others and get what we need in the moment. We all saw what happened at Standing Rock. As distantly related brothers of Native Americans (proven genetically), Tengger Cavalry, an international alliance of Mongols, Central Asians and Northern Asians, felt the need to give our public support to them. This video is about the brotherhood of nomadic people. It doesn't matter what ethnicity you are - if you have a nomadic heart and you love nature and sky, you are one of us, and we will support you!"
Make sure to catch Tengger Cavalry at one of their only local shows this winter at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, NY this Friday, December 16th at 8 PM. The band will be joined by Tungsten, Entropy and Goblin Hovel.
The official video for the song "Satan Is Real" from German thrash titans KREATOR can be seen below. The clip was once again filmed with renowned video production company Grupa13, which has previously worked with AMON AMARTH, BEHEMOTH and ELUVEITIE. The track is taken from the band's upcoming album, "Gods Of Violence", which will be released on January 27, 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Commented KREATOR frontman Mille Petrozza: "Hordes! Here is the second video of the demon trilogy we have come up with with the great people from Grupa13. Enjoy our new single 'Satan Is Real'!"
The cover artwork for "Gods Of Violence" was created by renowned artist Jan Meininghaus, who also made the limited-edition artwork for KREATOR's last album, 2012's "Phantom Antichrist", and has lent his talents to bands like BOLT THROWER, ACCEPT and OVERKILL in the past.
The exclusive North American cover was created by renowned artist Marcelo Vasco, who has previously worked with SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY and HATEBREED.
The track listing is as follows: 01. Apocalypticon02. World War Now03. Satan Is Real04. Totalitarian Terror05. Gods Of Violence06. Army Of Storms07. Hail To The Hordes08. Lion With Eagle Wings09. Fallen Brother10. Side By Side11. Death Becomes My Light
Regarding the "Gods Of Violence" title track, Petrozza said: "'Gods Of Violence' was the first song I wrote for this album and it stuck to me as the title track. It contains everything KREATOR is known for and it will blow your minds. Promise!" He added about the album artwork: "The cover of is a perfect reflection of my lyrical vision. I think this is Jan Meininghaus's best work so far."
KREATOR will tour Europe in support of the new CD beginning in early February. Petrozza and his crew will be accompanied by a varied as well as iconic billing. Brazilian-American extreme metal pioneers SEPULTURA are direct support to the headliners, followed by visionary Swedish melodic death metallers SOILWORK and Belgium's finest death/grind outfit ABORTED.
Speaking about the five-year gap between 2012's "Phantom Antichrist" album and the upcoming "Gods Of Violence", Mille told Metal Wani: "It didn't seem that long, to be honest, because we have been touring so much. And I think in order to come up with something relevant and something exciting, it's definitely important to take some time off, and hat's what we did. After the extensive touring cycle for 'Phantom Antichrist', we just took almost… not two years off — we played a couple of festivals — but, basically, we didn't do much in '15 and until now [in] '16; those two years were free of any long touring. And so, yeah, being able to do this was a luxury, but was also necessary in order to come up with something great."
Mille also talked about the songwriting process for "Gods Of Violence", explaining: "We just wanted to write new songs that are just, 'Wow!' I think that's basically what we had in mind. One thing that we were all conscious about was that we needed to come up with an album that blows everyone away. So whatever it takes, we do. That's the only conscious decision that we made — to come up with something exciting; that's the key."
Regarding KREATOR's decision to return to Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden to record "Gods Of Violence" with producer Jens Bogren (OPETH, AMON AMARTH, KATATONIA), Mille said: "It was fantastic. We had a great time. We knew the location, we knew the studio, and it was really cool. And it was summertime this time, so it was a lot easier, really. It was nice."
KREATOR will headline next year's edition of the annual Decibel Magazine Tour. Support on the trek will come from Florida death metal legends OBITUARY, old-school Ohio brutalizers MIDNIGHT and celebrated progressive death prodigies HORRENDOUS (with regional openers in select markets to be announced next year).
The official video for the song "Kylie" from former KYUSS frontman John Garcia can be seen below. The track is taken from his new studio album, "The Coyote Who Spoke In Tongues", which will be released on January 27 via Napalm Records.
Normally you would expect some heavy guitars, pounding drums and fuzzy tunes from Mr. Garcia. But not this time, as his new effort is something extremely special and presents him stronger and more emotional then he has ever been.
Recorded and mixed by Steve Feldman and Robbie Waldman, mastered by Gene "The Machine" Grimaldi at Oasis Mastering in California, "The Coyote Who Spoke In Tongues" offers an emotional acoustic ride through Garcia's solo work as well as songs by KYUSS in new arrangements like you have never heard before!
Garcia comments: "This record is one of the most important of my career, difficult and challenging to do, but worth every minute of sweat!"
With longtime desert and touring fellas Ehren Groban on the acoustic guitar, Greg Saenz on percussions and bassist Mike Pygmie, "The Coyote Who Spoke In Tongues" will be a must-have for every fan of the desert rock and KYUSS era, and will come with artwork by Jared Conner.
"The Coyote Who Spoke In Tongues" track listing:
01. Kylie02. Green Machine03. Give Me 250ml04. The Hollingsworth Session05. Space Cadet06. Gardenia07. El Rodeo08. Argleben II09. Court Order
Greek melodic power metal masters FIREWIND, the group led by guitar wizard and OZZY OSBOURNE band member Gus G., will release their eighth studio album, "Immortals", on January 20, 2017 via the band's longtime label partner Century Media Records in Europe.
The official video for the song "Ode To Leonidas", taken from "Immortals", can be seen below. The clip was recently shot with the iCode team (KAMELOT, DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT, MOONSORROW) in Serbia.
Gus stated about the song and the video: "As many of you have found out by now, our new album 'Immortals' is a concept and focusing on the battles of Thermopylae and Salamis. The song 'Ode To Leonidas' is obviously about the legendary warrior King of Sparta and his heroic battle with his 300 brave men against the massive Persian army invaders. "For the production of the clip, we traveled to Belgrade, Serbia and filmed with iCode team (same team that directed my solo video 'The Quest' and so many other great bands) and we're really amazed by the end result. It's truly epic! We hope you will enjoy too. Heavy metal fans — unite!"
"Immortals" marks the first time FIREWIND used an outside co-producer, having worked with Dennis Ward (UNISONIC, PINK CREAM 69), who not only engineered, mixed and mastered the album, but also co-wrote it together with Gus G.
Gus G. said: "'Immortals' [is] the first concept album FIREWIND has ever made.
"Since we're from Greece, we thought it would be a cool idea to make a concept of Greek history and heritage. So on this album we focused on the legendary battles of Thermopylae and Salamis during the second Persian invasion of Greece in 480 B.C.
"The artwork was once again created by our longtime collaborator, Gustavo Sazes, and we feel it reflects the vibe we tried to capture on this album — epic, powerful, glorious, everlasting."
"Immortals" track listing:
01. Hands Of Time02. We Defy03. Ode To Leonidas04. Back On The Throne05. Live And Die By The Sword06. Wars Of Ages07. Lady Of 1000 Sorrows08. Immortals09. Warriors And Saints10. Rise From The Ashes
In addition to the standard jewel case CD and digital download formats, "Immortals" will be released as LP on 180-gram vinyl with a poster as well as the entire album on CD as bonus. Additionally, there will also be a limited-edition mediabook CD with expanded booklet, a bonus track and three stickers.
In order to support the release of "Immortals", FIREWIND is set to hit the road across Europe.
"Immortals" marks FIREWIND's first release with singer Henning Basse (METALIUM, SONS OF SEASONS), who previously toured with the band on various continents in 2007 and was most recently the singer in Gus's solo touring group.
Said FIREWIND in a statement: "Since [2014], [Henning] started playing some shows with Gus G.'s solo band and he delivered amazing performances, stunning the crowds all over Europe! Henning is an amazing frontman and a personality that totally fits with what FIREWIND is all about."
FIREWIND celebrated its 10th anniversary by releasing a live album in June 2013 via Century Media Records in Europe. Titled "Apotheosis - Live 2012", the CD contained 17 songs recorded at special anniversary shows in Greece as well as all over Europe during the band's "Few Against Many" tour in 2012. It marked FIREWIND's final release with singer Apollo Papathanasio, who decided to leave the group at the end of 2012.
FIREWIND toured in 2013 in support of "Apotheosis - Live 2012", with Kelly Sundown Carpenter (ADAGIO, BEYOND TWILIGHT) handling lead vocals on the trek.

John LaMacchia (guitar) comments: "'Wandering Light' is one of my favourite songs off of the new album so I am very happy it was included in the live, Spaceman Sound Studio sessions. If you are one of the many music enthusiasts looking forward to a huge wave of politically-charged, post-election punk, hardcore and metal, All Hail The Yeti just met your needs. The band leads the charge with their official call for change with the new track "Feed The Pigs" - a self-described "wake up call" for our generation to take action in society. Along with the track, the band reveals a new music video. Check out the video below, and read a brief Q&A with vocalist Connor Garritty at Huffington Post.
"Writing "Feed The Pigs" came very naturally for us; one of the least stressful, yet one of the most important songs we have ever written," Garritty details to Huffington Post. "We have always been very conscious of the world around us, especially the environment. With everything that is going on around us right now, I felt that this song needed to be heard... so inspiration wouldn't be the word - it is more of a wake-up call! Our society needs to clue in to what is going on! Change has to start right now!"
All Hail The Yeti are constantly writing and creating new material. Stay tuned for more coming from the band soon.
Corners Of Sanctuary has followed the recent release of their new holiday single, "That Feeling We Know”, with a music video. The clip was filmed entirely on location at Tuned Up Brewing Company's public taproom in Spring City, Pennsylvania.
Corners of Sanctuary guitarist Mick Michaels states: “It originally started out as a promo shoot for our holiday craft beer but turned into a full blown production. It's a fun, festive video and we had a great time filming it.”
Tuned Up Brewing Company is releasing a signature line of Corners of Sanctuary craft beer flavors and has kicked off the line with a seasonal brew called "Merry Metal Holiday Cheer", which can be seen throughout the video. The video also features brief cameos by two of the company's owners and master brewers, Jeremy Burke and Clint Tichnell.
"It's an awesome video," said Tichnell.
"I think people will love knowing a music video was filmed here on the premises," said Burke. "We've already had new customers to the taproom because they heard about COS filming here," he continued.
"You can't beat that kind of promotion," Tichnell added.
"That Feeling We Know" is also available as a free download until January 1st, exclusively at the band's website.
Following the Holidays, Corners Of Sanctuary will return to the studio to continue work on their new album, The Galloping Hordes, which is slated for release in 2017.
"SOS", the new video from U.S. progressive metal pioneers FATES WARNING, can be seen below. The clip was directed by David Brodsky for MyGoodEye. FATES WARNING vocalist Ray Alder commented as follows: "We are very happy to announce the latest video for the song 'SOS' from our new album, 'Theories Of Flight'! The video was recorded at Carriage House Studios in Stamford, Connecticut, where we have recorded a number of albums over the years. It was great to be back there again! So many memories...We hope you enjoy the video, and we look forward to seeing you on tour soon!"
FATES WARNING will embark on a first European tour for "Theories Of Flight" in January/February 2017. They have also been confirmed to appear at two of Germany's most prestigious open-air festival events next year: Wacken Open Air and Rock Hard.

Frank Aresti contributed a couple solos on the new record, but due to his current work commitments, he is not be able to tour with FATES WARNING. He is being temporarily replaced by Mike Abdow, who is described by Aresti as "a great guitarist and a great guy."

Bloodride released Planet Alcatraz, their third album, through Inverse Records on November 25th.
On this album anger and frustration has risen to new level which can be seen on lyrical themes. Stupidity and selfishness of mankind gets loads of verbal hits this time. Musically these assaults are also very hard, brutal but sometimes even catchy.

"Phobophobia", the new video from the Dutch all-female death/black metal band SISTERS OF SUFFOCATION, can be seen below. The clip was filmed at the Wederkomst Church by Kesslr Motion.
Founded in 2014 in Eidhoven, SISTERS OF SUFFOCATION managed very quickly to establish an amazing live reputation and got lots of invitations from venues and smaller festivals. This was noticed by Eindhoven Metal Meeting, who gave them a chance to present themselves for a bigger audience.
It has always been a dream of vocalist Els Prins to start an all-female death metal band, but she didn't seem to be able find the right group of girls to make this dream reality — that is, until she met guitarist Simone van Straten. Sharing a love for extreme music, they recruited drummer Amber de Buijzer and bass player Marjolein van den Nieuwenhuizen and started rehearsing. They released their first single, "Boundaries", in July 2014 and played their first show one month later. In May 2015, Marjolein exited the band and was replaced by Puck Wildschut.
Earlier this year, SISTERS OF SUFFOCATION finally went into the studio in Antwerp to record "Brutal Queen", and the first pressing quickly sold out. Hammerheart Records reissued this EP on digi-CD (September) and on LP (November), with slightly different artwork. SISTERS OF SUFFOCATION are working on their debut album, which is scheduled for release in the second half of 2017.
SISTERS OF SUFFOCATION are:
Vocals - Els PrinsGuitar - Simone van StratenDrums - Amber de BuijzerBass - Puck Wildschut
"Personal Hell", the new video from THE MURDER OF MY SWEET, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's fourth studio album, "Echoes Of The Aftermath", which will be released on January 27, 2017 via Frontiers Music Srl. 2015 saw THE MURDER OF MY SWEET reunite with their original label home, Frontiers, for the release of their concept album "Beth Out of Hell", a magnificent album that was described as "almost Wagnerian in style" (Sonic Cathedral) and favorably compared to such masterpieces as QUEENSRŸCHE's "Operation: Mindcrime" by the U.K.'s Powerplay.
"Echoes Of The Aftermath" musically follows on the heels of the previous record, with a more straight-ahead songwriting approach, but still offering the symphonic and cinematic elements the band is now well-known for. "Echoes Of The Aftermath" showcases a Nordic sound that the members of the band grew up listening to and lyrically takes on issues in tune with our modern day life. Drummer/producer Daniel Flores says: "During the process of writing 'Beth Out Of Hell' with Angelica, I came up with lots of riffs, melodies and music that didn't necessarily fit the concept of the album. The inspiration and creative buzz from those songwriting sessions stayed with us and helped us come up with a new album very quickly. And, of course, the warm reception from fans and media had a helping hand too. I'm personally also really proud of the sonic impact of this record, I've learnt so much during these past years working with Frontiers and I'm so glad I can showcase this in full force on this album. The guys in the band are feeling very creative these days and thanks to the fans we are able to give you our 'Echoes Of The Aftermath'! Singer Angelica Rylin adds: "For me, the writing process for this album became a way to reconnect with my Nordic roots. I've always been a fan of John Bauer (Swedish painter and illustrator) and his portraits of Swedish folklore and fairy tales was a big inspiration for me. And it was a nice break from 'Beth', who had become such a big part of my life for a very long time." "Echoes Of The Aftermath" track listing:

wars have revealed their first official music video since signing to Spinefarm Records. It's for the song "The Art Of Not Knowing" from their forthcoming debut album, We Are Islands, After All, due out January 27th via Spinefarm Records.
"The music video for 'The Art Of Not Knowing' came from a really personal place," says Rob Vicars, wars' frontperson. "There's this empty, unstable feeling you get when you start to question how well you really know yourself- it's the kind of train of thought that can take you to some unnervingly dark places pretty abruptly. This song talks about confronting that issue, the ambivalence, and learning to live beyond it."
He continued, "The shoot itself felt like a real coming together of brilliant people. It's amazing to have a cameo from This Is England's George Newton in there, and our leading girl absolutely nailed every scene. We're unbelievably proud and excited to put this video out."
