BLOODY HAMMERS Launch Official Music Video For “Bloodletting On The Kiss”

Bloody Hammers have released a video for “Bloodletting On The Kiss”, the lead track from their new album, Lovely Sort Of Death, out on August 5th via Napalm Records.

"This album is certainly the darkest album I've ever recorded", states Bloody Hammers mastermind Anders Manga, who stays on the dark path to the nether world and opens the seven gates with Lovely Sort Of Death.

“The Reaper Comes” video:

Strictly Limited 1LP Gatefold & Bonus CD - 200 worldwide

Anders Manga on Lovely Sort Of Death: "We live high on a mountain with a steep treacherous driveway so when any snowfall happens, we're stuck for days. Luckily, as a result of all the isolation, my songwriting mood ended up much more on the darker side than previous records. The songs are heavy, but not always heavy. I wanted to create more atmosphere than before. It's a stylistically varied record, which I'm very proud of. I used the Moog more on this album, which blends well with the heavy guitar fuzz tones. It's definitely my favourite album so far in every way."

Bloody Hammers are a duo who hail from the mountains of Transylvania County, NC. The project and first self-titled release was originally formed as a studio only project with vocalist/songwriter, Anders Manga producing and recording all instruments. Soon Anders decided to take the project from the studio to a real band by recruiting his wife Devallia to play keyboards and other local musicians for live shows.

In late 2013 Anders was approached by one of Europe's largest rock and metal labels, Napalm Records. In 2014 Napalm released Bloody Hammers' third official album titled Under Satan's Sun. Through the snowy winter of 2015, Anders began writing again, but this time took a much darker and atmospheric direction. For the first time he added thick Moog sounds along with his normal fuzzed-out guitar, with more atmospheric keys provided by Devallia. They emerged from the winter with Lovely Sort Of Death, their darkest album yet.

BRING ME THE HORIZON Releases 'Avalanche' Video

BRING ME THE HORIZON's video for the song "Avalanche" can be seen below.

"This is the first time we've worked on filming and editing the whole project," says Tom Sykes, brother of BRING ME THE HORIZON frontman Oli Sykes, who worked on the video with the band. "Having creative control over every aspect from start to finish was great. It was a lot of work, but extremely rewarding! We enjoyed working on it together so much that we've decided to start a collaborative company called Fun Blood so we can work on projects together in the future."

Oli Sykes said in a recent interview with BBC Radio One that the band's recent shift toward a more commercial sound isn't a case of "selling out" because the group was always headed in that direction. Sykes explained: "We always wanted to be the catchiest, heaviest band. It wasn’t intentional to become an A-list radio band. It was just the music we like. We like pop music. We like catchy songs. But we also like heavy songs. None of it feels forced — none of it feels like we’re selling out. It’s real, and it’s good."

Sykes told The Pulse Of Radio that BRING ME THE HORIZON's musical progression goes hand in hand with their growth as people. "It's got to be true to where we are at," he said. "I think some bands at this age, when you get into fifth album and stuff as well, are still trying to sing about the same things and stuff to make the kids happy that used to listen to them. But if it's not true to what you are, it's not where you're at in life, it's gonna look transparent. I think that's why we've managed to carry on as a band, because we've always evolved and we've always made music that we still really, really love. It's not music that we used to love."

Sykes added that the band's evolution hasn't cost them any fans, saying: "That's why people from the scene still respect us, and new people are getting into it — it doesn't feel like something we’re doing for any other reason than because we love it."

"Avalanche" is taken from BRING ME THE HORIZON's fifth album, "That's The Spirit", which debuted last September at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The lead single from the set, "Throne", topped the Active Rock radio chart in November.

The band will be touring Europe for the rest of the summer.

TANK Releases 'Make A Little Time' Video

"Make A Little Time", the new video from veteran British metallers TANK, can be seen below. The clip was filmed in the desert hills just outside the town of Mojacar in Southern Spain and the production was handled by MGV Productions. TANK guitarist Cliff Evans comments: "We didn't want to make the usual low-budget, derelict warehouse-style video that so many bands seem to go for these days, so in order to do the song justice, we decided to find a more interesting location. We contacted Dale Webb at MGV, and he found the ideal backdrop that provided the essential vibe that goes so well with the song. Unusually for this part of Spain, the weather was stormy and overcast but that added a great atmosphere to the performance. The video really captures the raw energy but also the laid-back side of the band. We like nothing better than playing our own brand of rock 'n' roll and drinking beer together!" Adds TANK guitarist Mick Tucker: "We're so pleased with the amazing response that we've had for our 'Valley Of Tears' album which was released at the end of last year. We wanted to portray the songs visually, so we decided to invest in making a couple of top-quality videos for our fans to enjoy and share the experience of what we're doing. We only had one day to film everything we needed, so it was hard work but we had plenty of cold Estrella beer close to hand to keep us going." A second video filmed for the title track of the album, "Valley Of Tears", is scheduled for release later this summer.

Joining Tucker and Evans on "Valley Of Tears" are former DRAGONFORCE frontman ZP Theart, who has been a member of TANK's touring lineup for the past three years. Also featured are new recruits Bobby Schottkowski, formerly of SODOM, on drums, and current BLIND GUARDIAN member Barend Courbois on bass.

Regarding the recording process, Evans stated: "Bobby recorded the drum tracks in Germany with his producer, Waldemar Sorychta, whose previous work includes albums for LACUNA COIL, TIAMAT and SODOM, to name but a few. The drums are the backbone of the album and they seriously kick ass! Barend laid down the bass guitar in Holland a couple of days before heading out on a sold-out world tour with German metal legends BLIND GUARDIAN. The guitars were recorded in London under the guidance of producer Phil Kinman who is the master at capturing the sound of a Les Paul through a Marshall amp. No frills. Just awesome power! The album was mastered by Ade Emsley, who undertook the task of remastering the entire IRON MAIDEN catalogue for 24-bit iTunes release."

He added: "The title comes from the famous tank battle during the 1973 Yom Kippur War where one side was massively outnumbered but fought on regardless and against all odds secured a heroic victory.

"We feel that our style of metal is slowly disappearing and now we must also fight against the odds to keep it alive.

"We hope 'Valley Of Tears' will inspire other bands and fans alike to never forget what real metal is all about."

DENNER/SHERMANN Feat. MERCYFUL FATE Guitarists: 'Son Of Satan' Video Released

MERCYFUL FATE guitar lengends Michael Denner and Hank Shermann will release their new DENNER / SHERMANN full-length album, "Masters Of Evil", on June 24 via Metal Blade Records.

The music video for the album track "Son Of Satan" can be seen below. Swedish director Owe Lingwall shot the clip entirely at studio 1646 in Umeå in Northern Sweden.

"We chose this song to be the first video because musically, it is a song that really captures the entire essence of what this band is becoming," Denner comments. "The lyrics are also very vivid, and it fills your imagination with dark, sinister images and visions that Swedish director Owe captured perfectly."

"Shooting this video was a great time, and I felt that all of us being together there, bonding as a band during the filming process, was important and something I will always remember," adds vocalist Sean Peck.

The album cover was painted by Swedish artist Thomas Holm, who also created the "Satan's Tomb" artwork, and who is very well known amongst fans for his standout pieces over the past three decades! The mixing was once again handled by Arnold Lindberg at Sound Industry Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mastering was done once again by Maor Appelbaum in Los Angeles, California. The vintage sound on the new record harkens one back to the days of two-inch tape machines, long nights in dark studios, and huge consoles glowing under dim incandescent light.

"Masters Of Evil" contains eight new Denner / Shermann tracks that continue right where the EP left off. Building upon the musical foundation of the "Satan's Tomb" EP, these songs cover the entire gamut of heavy metal nuances and take the listener down a mysterious path where tales of dark, supernatural fantasies are told, transporting you to places that can only be found in the most vivid, blood curdling nightmares.

"Masters Of Evil" is fully loaded to satisfy the old fans with just what they would expect — and also injected with menacing, sinister, new surprises that could only come from the sonic DNA of Michael Denner and Hank Shermann.

"After 'Satan's Tomb', we continued aggressively writing and recording ideas, except for the short break we took to do all the press for the release of the debut. We are very excited with the outcome, and the full-length album is ready to be unleashed this summer," says Shermann.

Vocalist Sean Peck comments: "This record really has it all, I think. Working with Hank and Michael and the guys creating this record was the ultimate metal thrill ride for me! I can't wait to hear the fan reaction to this sinister sonic salvo of savagery!"

Denner adds: "This new record really shows how the five of us have grown as a band and bonded as songwriters. It contains the kind of compositions I believe our fans would expect from us. I think this release will serve as kind of a tribute to our incredible fans worldwide, as we recognize and acknowledge their die-hard loyalty over the years."

With the upcoming DENNER / SHERMANN release comes live touring. Ever since the first announcement that this guitar duo was reforming, many show requests have been received from all over the world. Now with a full complement of original songs to draw from, look for the group to bring those to a city near you very soon.

"Masters Of Evil" track listing:

01. Angel's Blood02. Son of Satan03. The Wolf Feeds At Night04. Pentagram And The Cross05. Masters Of Evil06. Servants Of Dagon07. Escape From Hell08. The Baroness

MINDSCAR Release “When The Soul Dies” Music Video

Technical death metal juggernauts, Mindscar, have released a video for "When the Soul Dies", a new track taken from their forthcoming album, What's Beyond The Light. Watch the clip below, and stay tuned for new album details, coming soon.

Mindscar is a three-piece metal band from Orlando, Florida originally formed by Richie Brown (vocals/guitar) and Mike Radford (drums) in 1998. In 2001, the band made a powerful impact throughout the Central Florida region performing numerous gigs, self-released demos/EPs, a television performance, international airplay and publicity. In 2002, Matt Heafy (Trivium) joined the band on guitar and backup vocals. After internal issues due to the age of its band members, Mindscar was unable to tour and the band disbanded for almost 10 years.

In 2012, Richie Brown and Mike Radford reunited in the studio to record “Thornz Ov Ill Lechery” and “Blind Masses”. The two tracks led to performing and touring opportunities. Richie decided to resurrect the band in March 2013 and the first live performance in over a decade took place alongside Massacre in Tampa, Florida at the legendary Brass Mug. Soon after Mindscar embarked on their first tour supporting Vader and Vital Remains on the Back To The Black US Tour 2013.

In 2014, Mindscar began tracking their debut full-length album titled Kill The King. After embarking on the Southern Scorcher US Tour 2014 with Infinite Earths, Richie asked Terran Fernandez(Infinite Earths bassist) to join Mindscar. Terran has since become an essential part of the band. Matt Heafy contributed clean vocals for a few songs and a guitar solo for a song called “Asmodeus” that was premiered in September of 2014.

Mindscar independently released “Kill The King” on January 8th, 2015 followed by a sold out hometown show with Andrew W.K., a headline show in Puerto Rico and a US tour with Ulcer. After returning home from this tour, Mike Radford left the band for personal reasons and passed the torch to long time friend and drum extraordinaire Robbie Young (Nailshitter/Double Veteran). Shortly after Robbie joined the band, Mindscar completed their most successful tour to date: Golden Gods of Death US Tour 2015.

In February 2016, Mindscar recorded their sophomore full-length album titled What’s Beyond The Light with Rob Caldwell (Six Feet Under/Cannabis Corpse/Iron Reagan). The album also features a guest speech from US Senate candidate Augustus Invictus. The cover artwork is a large painting made entirely of vocalist/guitarist Richie Brown’s blood and semen. What’s Beyond The Light will be released this August.

Mindscar is:

Richie Brown - Main Vocals, Guitar
Robbie Young - Drums, Vocals
Terran Fernandez - Bass, Vocals

ONI Unleashes New Music Video For "Eternal Recurrence”; Ironshore Album Coming This Fall

Solidifying their position as a band to watch in 2016, rising progressive metal band Oni saw their breakout moment earlier this year with the release of their blistering new track, "Eternal Recurrence". Showcasing the band's ability to meld chaotic progressive time signatures with blazing solos and heavy grooves (with the unique inclusion of "xylo-synth"), "Eternal Recurrence" soars as the band's first of several planned singles cut from their upcoming full-length album, Ironshore, scheduled to hit stores this fall.

Today marks the release of the band's new music video for "Eternal Recurrence". Directed by Abraham Roofeh and filmed in vocalist Jake Oni's home locale of the Cayman Islands, the video depicts a man running from a mysterious masked assailant - but is this assailant really a stranger? Watch the video below.

Oni frontman Jake Oni states, "It was a pleasure filming the video in the Cayman Islands. It's very convenient working from home, although the performance was brutal at times. When the guys and myself were done filming, we couldn't even walk the next day! After headbanging for what felt like an eternity, there was nothing better than laying on the ground!

“When we first saw the treatment for the video, it was hard to imagine how it would turn out, however it exceeded all of our expectations. The sunny island felt more dystopian than anything else and our director captured the meaning of the song and the look of the band perfectly. Overall, it was a blast to work on and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!"

Formed in 2014, Oni mastermind Jake Oni's initial vision for the band was "to be the band he never got to see". One that was deeply rooted in progressive metal but that had a feel all of its own, one that would rise above a genre that continues to churn out new groups with a similar sound. Oni's sound comfortably situates them among the genre's heavy hitters, demonstrating spastic technicality and fast-paced verses like Protest The Hero and Arsis, with melodic progressive hooks echoing Between The Buried in Me. But while those artists are still positioned on one end of the metal spectrum, Oni digs even deeper with resonating groove-oriented guitars and mathematic rhythm patterns resembling artists like Lamb Of God and Gojira.

The band's upcoming new album, Ironshore, is packed full of contrasts and contradictions, grace and violence, and with the band disinterested in churning out endless soundalikes, each has a distinct character of its own - or more accurately characters of its own, since they refuse to limit themselves to a single mood or tone.

With Jake Oni handling vocal duties, Martin Andres and Brandon White on guitar, Chase Bryant on bass and Joe Greulich on drums, they are also perhaps the first metal band to feature a xylo-synth player, in the form of Johnny D, which adds an interesting and intriguing dynamic.

Stay tuned for much more coming from Oni in anticipation of their upcoming album release this fall.

Video Premiere: ROB ZOMBIE's 'Medication For The Melancholy'

Rob Zombie's video for the song "Medication For The Melancholy" can be seen below. The track is taken from his latest album, "The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser", which debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200, having shifted 41,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 5. It's the sixth solo Top 10 album for Zombie.

"The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser" was released on April 29 via UMe/T-Boy Records.

Regarding his decision to keep the new album and songs short, Rob told Rolling Stone magazine: "Whenever I go through records that I love and I listen to over and over and over, I go, 'Man, this record's short. That's why I loved it so much.' It's, like, thirty minutes, so I've listened to it nine thousand times, whereas you have other records where you go, 'Yeah, I know that record's great, but it's, like, seventy-five minutes long, or the tracks are, like, six minutes long.' Like, I'd go back and look at BEATLES records and go, like, 'These songs are like a minute-and-a-half long. They don't feel a minute-and-a-half long.' Even when… Later, on 'Magical Mystery Tour', I used to think, 'Oh, well, these songs are much longer.' But they're not really; they're still short songs, but they seem epic. I love long songs, but if you're gonna write a song that long, it's better be 'Freebird' or 'Stairway To Heaven' or something. It'd better be worth my time."

"The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser" was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris and features Zombie alongside guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D and drummer Ginger Fish.

BENEA REACH - “Woodland” Music Video From Rage: Midsummer’s Eve Horror Film Streaming

An old pagan holiday, Midsummer's Eve, is just around the corner and here is Benea Reach's music video for their “Woodland” single. The single starred as the ending credit song for American horror feature, Rage: Midsummer's Eve, set in the Finnish Arctic Circle during the Midsummer's festival.

Midsummer, also known as St John's Day, is centred around the Summer Solstice. European midsummer-related holidays, traditions, and celebrations are pagan and pre-Christian in origin. They are particularly important in Northern Europe - Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania – but are also very strongly observed in Poland, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, parts of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, other parts of Europe, and elsewhere - such as Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, and also in the Southern Hemisphere (mostly in Brazil, Argentina and Australia).

In Wicca culture, practitioners celebrate on the longest day and shortest night of the year which has not had a set date since the retirement of the 13-month Celtic calendar.

Benea Reach was an extreme metalcore/mathcore band from Oslo, Norway. The band was nominated for a Spellemannsprisen Award in the metal category. “Woodland” can be found as an opening track on Benea Reach's last studio album, Possession (Spinefarm Records / Universal Music Group, 2013).

The music video for “Woodland” is directed by Rage: Midsummer's Eve director, Ms. Tii Ricks and produced by her production company La Brea Pictures (USA).

Rage: Midsummer's Eve was released in Scandinavia and also in the US with a limited theatrical release and on VOD on Midsummer's Eve 2015. It will have its worldwide VOD, as well as special edition DVD and Blu-Ray release during 2016. The film stars English actors Michael Vardian, Johnny Sachon and Holly Georgia, as well as Finnish actors Greta Mandelin and Christian Sandstrom (Farewell).

DEF LEPPARD Debuts Video For New Single 'Man Enough'

DEF LEPPARD's Frank Gryner-directed video for the song "Man Enough" can be seen below. The single just cracked the Top 10 on the Classic Rock chart and is the third track off the band's latest, self-titled studio album.

DEF LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen told TeamRock about "Man Enough": "I had this bass riff floating around my head, and I wanted it to have a similar vibe to 'Billy Jean' by Michael Jackson — almost a disco vibe. I didn't know what it was going to be called, then I played it to Joe [Elliott, vocals]; we went to [drummer] Rick Allen's 50th birthday, and he said, 'Shit! I've got a great idea for this song! And it's called 'Are You Man Enough To Be My Girl'. People have said it reminds them of 'Another One Bites The Dust' by QUEEN. It has this dancey appeal. Our song 'All Night' was a bit like that, and 'Excitable' on 'Hysteria'. But I think this is the first time we've really made it work. It just fell into place, and I think that's because we didn’t restrict ourselves. Every song on the album's like that. It was, like, 'Fuck everybody. This album was done for us.' It wasn't a business venture. We really didn't care what anybody thought. We went to town on it; it was a lot of fun."

"Def Leppard" was recorded in early 2015 at Elliott's studio in Dublin, Ireland. The disc marked the group's first new collection of material in seven years and eleventh official studio release. The album debuted in the Top 5 on Billboard's Top 200 chart in the U.S. and went Top 10 in 25 countries, including a #1 in Japan. The band's previous two singles off of their new album, "Let's Go" and "Dangerous", also went to #1 on the Classic Radio chart. DEF LEPPARD's highly anticipated U.S. summer tour kicks off in Boston, Massachusetts at the Xfinity Center on June 22 and wraps up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the U.S. Cellular Center on October 10. The Live Nation-promoted outing will storm through cities across all parts of the U.S. and Canada.

ISLANDER Feat. Ex-AVENGED SEVENFOLD Drummer: 'Bad Guy' Video Released

"Bad Guy", the new video from ISLANDER, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's upcoming album, "Power Under Control", which will be released on August 5 via Victory.

"'Bad Guy' is a song about speaking the truth, telling someone something that they need to hear even though it may not be what that person wants to hear,' explains ISLANDER vocalist Mikey Carvajal. "This song is the response to [previously released] 'Darkness'." Carvajal goes on to note that "The songs on 'Power Under Control' are meant to be listened to together in the same way that a book is to be read. If someone were to skip the chapters in a book, the story may be exciting, but a lot of the meanings would be lost."

Founding ISLANDER member and vocalist Mikey Carvajal was joined by LOVE AND DEATH/KORN wunderkind guitarist J.R. Bareis in 2015, leading the band on a powerful new path. The seeds of this relationship were planted during 2014's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, when word of ISLANDER's explosive performances quickly spread to the tour's headliners AVENGED SEVENFOLD and KORN — who flocked to watch the band almost daily. Bareis, who was then guitar tech for KORN's Brian "Head" Welch, soon found himself in the role as ISLANDER's new guitar player. Shortly thereafter, ISLANDER recruited bassist Zeke Vasquez (ex-FOREVERATLAST), and after a couple revolving seats behind the drum throne, newly exited AVENGED SEVENFOLD skinsman Arin Ilejay became a permanent fixture snapping sticks and cymbals behind the kit.

ISLANDER will immediately hit the road in support of the album, kicking things off at the Chicago Open Air pre-party on July 14. Additional dates will soon be announced.

DEVANATION Launches "Suffering Bay" Music Video

California Bay Area heavy metal group, Devanation, has unveiled a music video for the track "Suffering Bay", taken from the band's debut album, Dominion Of Oblivion. Stream the new video clip, directed by David Ledbetter, below.

Commented Devanation vocalist Jacob Shaw: "'Suffering Bay' is a piece of the concept album story of our debut full-length Dominion of Oblivion. In this 'chapter,' a man, nearing the end of his journey through the Dominion, is confronted by the evil spirit that has assumed the form of his wife. I won't give away any more!"

"Our director David Ledbetter and I worked really hard on this one, making sure that it stayed as close to the story of the album as possible, while also being fun to watch. It's difficult to say, but I think this is my favorite video I've ever been a part of."

With the release of the new video, Devanation is also excited to announce the addition of lead guitarist Francis "Pacey" Abramczyk. "Pacey has been a good friend for years now - we did a tour together a few years back," said Shaw. "When we brought him out to jam with us, it just clicked. I'm really excited about it."

Devanation's Dominion Of Oblivion released in January 2016. The self-produced concept album was recorded last summer with Bob Swanson at Mayhemeness Studios and mixed/mastered by Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz (ex-The Acacia Strain), who also provides guest vocals on the song "Lost".

BUSH Honors World Refugee Day With 'People At War' Video

BUSH has teamed with People.com and the UN Refugee Agency for the premiere of "People At War", a video that honors World Refugee Day and today's #WithRefugees petition. "We made this video to raise awareness about the terrible plight of refugees across the world," says BUSH lead vocalist Gavin Rossdale. "These are people who are forced to flee their homes for fear of violence, persecution and death. Please visit www.unhcr.org/bush and sign the #WithRefugees petition today and stand with us as we ask governments to work together to help." "People At War" was directed by Jesse Davey and produced by Matt Phelan. On World Refugee Day, held every year on June 20, UNHCR commemorates the strength, courage and perseverance of millions of refugees. This year, World Refugee Day is a key moment for everyone to show their support for families forced to flee by signing the petition and asking world leaders to take shared responsibility for finding solutions to the global refugee crisis.

BUSH's latest album, "Man On The Run", was released in October 2014. It followed up BUSH's 2011 comeback effort, "The Sea Of Memories", which was the first all-new BUSH album in a decade.

BUSH recorded "Man On The Run" at Studio 606, the private studio owned by FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl.

Ex-IRON MAIDEN Singer BLAZE BAYLEY Releases Video For 'Calling You Home' Track

The official music video for "Calling You Home", a new song from British heavy metal vocalist Blaze Bayley (IRON MAIDEN, WOLFSBANE), can be seen below. The track is taken from Blaze's eighth solo album, "Infinite Entanglement", which was released on March 1.

In an interview with Jimmy Kay and Alan Dixon from Canada's The Metal Voice, Blaze stated about his new album: "I had this idea to write my own book. I had a story that… kind of coming from the character from 'Tenth Dimension' [Blaze's 2002 album] that I really wanted to do. And we started work on it, and we had too many songs for one album. And I thought, you know what? When I did 'Tenth Dimension', I had to keep that down to a certain amount of time because I was working with a record company; I had deadlines to meet. I thought this time… I think this is a really big story. And so, I started thinking about it like 'Dune' and 'The Lord Of The Rings' and something like that. I thought if I was gonna do exactly what I wanted to do, then I would do it in three albums. Well, I am my record company, so I can do what I want to do. So I'm doing it in three albums. And this is my first studio album — full metal studio album — for four years, and it's part one of a trilogy. And the story is told across the three albums. And so far, it's turned out really, really well. And the first few people now have got their pre-orders delivered, and they're really enjoying it. The feedback I've had is great."

Blaze also spoke in more detail about the story that is covered on the trilogy. He said: "It's about a man who does not know if he is human. It's his personal journey, and he is on a mission to discover one of the new Kepler planets. You know, Kepler discovered all these new planets. It's set a hundred years in the future, and he's on a spaceship and it's how he deals with the fact that he will be one of the first people ever to live for a thousand years because of advances in technology, and how he deals with that. And the question is: is he human or not? And that's it in a nutshell. And the story expands from there. And we discover a lot of different things — first, his emotions and how he feels, but also why he's there and how he is reacting to the circumstances. And everything is not what it seems. He's been chosen for the mission, and we find out why. And that's part of the overall story. So it's a kind of mystery horror, in a way, set in space, and this is part one of it. So I'm hoping that you'll like the rest as well."

According to Blaze, he intentionally made "Infinite Entanglement" so that fans of his music can listen to the album and enjoy it without having to be familiar with the entire story. He said: "That is how I started with the whole idea. I had to do something that I would enjoy. So I really wanted to do something more in the 'War Of The Worlds' style and in the 'Operation: Mindcrime'. I wanted it so, as a listener, you can enjoy each song without knowing the story. But if you want to look at the sleeve notes, if you want to get deeper in it, then you'll see the connections. You don't have to listen to all the songs to know the connections. And the order of the songs isn't in a way that you have to play it from start to finish either. And you won't really know where all of the songs fit until that third album comes out and it explains to you the whole story and all of the details."

Asked if he already has a timetable in mind for the release of the second and third albums in the trilogy, Blaze said: "We have half of album two, we have half of the songs ready for that, and we have some of the music and one of the songs for album three. So we kind of have the ending and a bit of the middle. So, as we're going along on tour, and I'm writing the rest of the story, then we'll come up with the rest of the songs."

He continued: "What I've enjoyed with this one is having the liberation of not having to connect everything to reality or directly to me, to be able to use somebody else's emotions and somebody else's thoughts, and have more than one set of eyes to look at the world through. That's been really liberating, and I've enjoyed it very much."

The 53-year-old Bayley, who was born in Birmingham, was the original frontman in WOLFSBANE, but left in 1994 to join MAIDEN, with whom he recorded two studio albums — 1995's "The X Factor" 1998's and "Virtual XI" — before Bruce Dickinson returned to the group.

Bayley released a career-spanning double-disc collection, "Soundtracks Of My Life", on October 31, 2013.

BITERS Premier “The City Ain’t The Same” Music Video

Biters have released a music video for their new single, "The City Ain't The Same". Watch the video below.

Frontman Tuk Smith comments: "Somewhere between the homeless people begging for change in front of million dollar condos and the rush of the post-modern ironic subculture movement lies the inspiration for this track   I've seen a lot of people come and go but I still play rock 'n' roll. Sometimes, even in my own city, I feel like a stranger in a strange land."

Filmed with director Video Rahim - who has worked with Biters on a number of music videos before, including the recent grindhouse-themed video for "1975" - the video for "The City Ain't The Same" offers a visual throwback to classic rock TV variety shows, showcasing the band's electrifying live energy.

"For the video I wanted to recapture the vibe of performances I saw on shows like The Old Grey Whistle Test," adds Tuk, "Like Marc Bolan playing on stage with guest musicians and it was just like a party.”

"The City Ain't The Same" was originally included as a bonus track on the iTunes version of the band's new album, Electric Blood, with the updated version of the single due to release on all major platforms next Friday, June 24th.

Tour dates (with Buckcherry):

June
21 - Panama City, FL - Club La Vela
23 - Orlando, FL - Plaza Live
24 - Tampa, FL - Jannus Live
25 - Pompano Beach, FL - Pompano Beach Amphitheater
