"Expiration Date", the new video from Los Angeles industrial metallers FEAR FACTORY, can be seen below. The clip was filmed with director Tommy Jones, who has previously worked with KATAKLYSM, SOILWORK, LAMB OF GOD, CARCASS and TESTAMENT, among others.
"Expiration Date" is taken from FEAR FACTORY's latest album, "Genexus", which was released on August 7, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The follow-up to 2012's "The Industrialist" was co-produced by longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber, along with guitarist Dino Cazares and vocalist Burton C. Bell and mixed by Andy Sneap (ARCH ENEMY, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, MACHINE HEAD). Artwork was once again handled by Anthony Clarkson. Drums on "Genexus" were performed by Mike Heller (MALIGNANCY).
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bell stated about "Expiration Date": "I'm a big fan of melodic rock bands like U2 and even SISTERS OF MERCY and I've always integrated that influence into our music. It's funny because back when we first started, people heard this crazy death metal with screaming and then these clean vocals and they went, 'What the fuck is this?' They hated it. Then later, kids who were too young to know us in 2000 heard us and thought we were ripping off KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, so you can't win. With 'Genexus', we didn't want to do away with the melodic vocals, so we approached every song in a new way and used a combination of growls, melodic screams and clean singing. For 'Expiration Date', the music just didn't call for death metal vocals at all."
FEAR FACTORY last month embarked on a U.S. headlining tour on which it is performing its classic second album, "Demanufacture", in its entirety. A list of all the tour dates can be found at FearFactory.com

San Francisco-based rockers Black Cobra have released a new music video for “Eye Among The Blind”, a track from their Imperium Simulacra album, released on February 26th, 2016.
The new video was directed by Zev Deans, produced by Jay King, and stars Bradley Bailey as Sisyphus/Panoptes, Catrin Lloyd-Bollard as Tyro and Hugo Hoppe as Passion. Watch below:
"The Fighter", the new video from IN THIS MOMENT, can be seen below. The clip was directed by Jeremy Saffer and IN THIS MOMENT frontwoman Maria Brink. The song is taken from the band's fifth album, "Black Widow", which came out in November 2014.
Said Brink about the video: "I'm really excited for everyone to see 'The Fighter' music video. I decided to do a stripped down, intimate video to go with the nature and the meaning of the song. I wanted to show everybody a more vulnerable side of myself and take out all the bells and whistles."
She continued: "This song is about rising to our fullest power and overcoming tragedy. I hope everybody enjoys it and special thanks to Jeremy Saffer for collaborating with me on this."
IN THIS MOMENT recently spent time at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada with producer Kevin Churko (FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, HELLYEAH, PAPA ROACH, DISTURBED) working on the follow-up to "Black Widow", tentatively due later in the year.
Drummer Tom Hane announced his departure from IN THIS MOMENT last month, explaining in a statement that he had "struggled to be truly happy creatively."
IN THIS MOMENT will be the special guest on this summer's ROB ZOMBIE and KORN co-headlining amphitheater tour, dubbed "Return Of The Dreads". The trek will kick off in July and will visit 25 North American cities, including Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Seattle, Las Vegas and more.
IN THIS MOMENT signed with Atlantic Records in 2013 after completing its contract with Century Media Records.
On May 27th, Brighton five-piece Architects UK will release their new album, All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us, via Epitaph. Watch the video for the track “Gone With The Wind” below.
Recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden All Our Gods… is the heaviest and darkest work to which – frontman Sam Carter, bassist Ali Dean, guitarists Adam Christianson and Tom Searle, and the latter’s twin brother drummer, Dan Searle have ever put their name to, both on and below its surface. It is an album that challenges and progresses a genre long thought to have stagnated, and embraces its inspirations at a time when many rock and metal bands seek to hide them in search of mainstream acceptance. It is also born from considered minds filled not by thoughts of being the biggest band in the world, but of making a difference. Architects UK are, for that reason, a band like few others; they are five young men who stand for something, and who possess an intelligence, awareness and spirit that inform the very fiber of their band. The quintet all practice a vegan lifestyle, tour with a consciousness about their footprint on the world, and who devote time and energies to environmental causes.
The worldwide anger and disillusion encapsulated in All Our Gods... wrestles with contemplations of death, god and faith in search of some semblance of hope for a world increasingly consumed by fear, anger and confusion. This album is Architects UK's statement of intent to the world, it is time to stand up, take notice and be counted.
Architects UK will be playing the European summer tour circuit this summer, with plans to tour the US later this year. Pre-orders for All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us are available here.

The debut album from Shiraz Lane, entitled For Crying Out Loud, will be released on April 15th. The band have released a music video for the album’s title track - watch below:
Formed in 2011, Shiraz Lane is a young, energetic, ambitious, authentic hard rock group from Vantaa, Finland. Although wearing inspiration from big masters like Aerosmith, Skid Row and Guns N' Roses on their sleeves, the band has a sound and style all their own. Members of some of the biggest bands in Scandinavia - The 69 Eyes, Amorphis, Children Of Bodom, Lordi and Sonic Syndicate among others - have all described Shiraz Lane as being one of the most entertaining bands they have ever seen in the underground music scene, bringing something new to the table in terms of both music and live performance! Notwithstanding their young age (the band members are all in their 20s), the guys are already veterans of the underground circuit in their homeland and have developed a reputation for being uncompromising, loud and genuine.
"We started working on our debut album in mid-August 2015 after receiving confirmation about details and deadlines from Frontiers Music Srl”, says Miki Kalske. "We were actually extremely busy at the time since we did an extensive Finnish tour in September, so the Shiraz factory was working pretty much around the clock. In retrospect it was good to have a tight agenda, since the songs came out very naturally and with a steady pace. After we felt confident enough with the songs, we joined forces with our producer Ben Varon and analyzed them meticulously, re-arranged parts, rehearsed, re-rehearsed etc. Before hitting the studio to lay down the final tracks."
On the final result, For Crying Out Loud, the band shows they have learned all the tricks in the book and they're now ready to take on the world.
"The album is not conceptual, but it is definitely a tight knitted package so that every song has its own natural place in the running order”, continues Kalske. "All in all the record turned out to be an ass-kicking hard rock gem with a large scope of different emotions and feelings included. Variety would be a good key word to describe the album throughout, although bowing down to our own sound and style. An important notion would be to listen to the lyrics and message we are trying to send to the listeners out there - we don't wan't to preach, but if our music can act as an eye-opener on some level and send positive vibrations out to the world during these darker times, I would say we have done something right!"
Shiraz Lane debuted with a two song single release, "Out There Somewhere" and "Money Talks" in October 2014. The band expanded upon those two tracks to release a five track EP, Be The Slave Or Be The Change in the spring of 2015. It was extremely well received by both the public and the press in Scandinavia and the single ''Mental Slavery'' could even be described as an underground hit. Following the EP release, the band has put out four music videos, played the biggest Finnish summer festivals and also performed in places like Toronto, Canada, Finland Fest in Tokyo Japan and Wacken Open Air in Germany. In the autumn of 2015, Shiraz Lane did an extensive national tour supporting fellow countrymen Santa Cruz. Although music is not a matter of competition, it should be mentioned the band won the Hard Rock Rising 2014 and Wacken Metal Battle 2015. The hype culminated with an international record deal with Frontiers Music Srl, which was signed and sealed in September.
"We have grown to fill the boots of the endangered Dinosaurus of Rock and continue the legacy of authentic, rocking and meaningful music" concludes Miki Kalske. "We are thrilled to let you guys experience a full-length insight in our musical minds and assure that this is going to be the best possible news for the fans out there after a heartsick and grieving turn of the year. Heads up and play this record loud and proud - we certainly will!"

Swiss avant-garde extreme metal titans, Schammasch, have released a new track, "Maelstrom”, from their upcoming triple-album, Triangle, which is set for worldwide release on April 29th via Prosthetic Records. Watch the new video for "Maelstrom" below.
Marking the third album in their discography, Schammasch's newest epic, Triangle encompasses 100 minutes in its entirety, with three distinct 33-minute movements differing in atmosphere and style and each representing the three stages of the album's strong concept – Part I: The Process Of Dying, Part II: Metaflesh and Part III: The Supernal Clear Light Of The Void.
This unique concept is visually represented through a series of four inventive photographs packaged as a bold triple-gatefold, limited-edition 3LP set and a 3CD set with imagery realized by acclaimed photographer Ester Segarra (Watain, Behemoth) and graphic designer Valnoir (Alcest, The Black Dahlia Murder). Rarely is such a grand musical and aesthetic feat accomplished within the bounds of extreme metal.

SHEL, the folk/pop band composed of four sisters from Fort Collins, Colorado, has released the official video for their haunting cover of METALLICA's "Enter Sandman". The clip premiered on Nerdist, which wrote that SHEL has "created the platonic ideal of one of the metal group's classic numbers. Paring the song down to softly delivered vocals and spare acoustic instrumentation, the version of the track is as disconcerting as it is beautiful... The audio-visual subtlety of this track makes for an extremely unique cover that hits a totally different chord of terror than the original."
While recording "Enter Sandman", SHEL lead vocalist Eva Holbrook was concerned about how to tackle it. "When recording 'Enter Sandman', I said a prayer to the god’s of rock that I wouldn’t be struck dead, or mysteriously electrocuted in the studio for whispering the lyrics to a METALLICA song, or for not including an electric guitar in the arrangement," she told Nerdist. "I've survived to say that I am truly blown away by the poetry of the song." SHEL's version of "Enter Sandman" will be featured on the the Nashville-based band's second full-length album, "Just Crazy Enough", which will be released on May 13. Produced by Dave Stewart (best known for his work with the EURYTHMICS), the album features the captivating harmonies and intriguing rhythms that are emblematic of SHEL's inventive songwriting. The four sisters of SHEL have amassed a loyal fanbase due to a defiantly DIY approach marked by tireless touring and genre-twisting music that wears its heart on its sleeve. Raised on an abandoned trailer park that the family restored and turned into a farm, they had an unconventional and imaginative upbringing in the foothills of Fort Collins, Colorado. Each found an instrument to master early on, studying classical music while composing and arranging with Sarah on violin, Hannah on piano, Eva on mandolin, and Liza on drums, djembe and beatboxing. Using their first initials, the band created an acronym — SHEL. Sarah, Hannah, Eva, and Liza Holbrook like to say they are "four sisters, traveling the world, tellin' tales, and sharing a dream." The band released their 2012 self-titled debut to great acclaim, and were embraced by MTV, USA Today, American Songwriter, and many more.
"Enter Sandman" was featured as the opening track and lead single from METALLICA's eponymous 1991 album. The song was produced by Bob Rock, and the music was written by Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich, and James Hetfield. Vocalist and guitarist Hetfield wrote the lyrics, which deal with the simplest concept of a child's nightmares.
The "Enter Sandman" single was certified gold in the United States for sales in excess of 500,000 copies. Acclaimed by critics, the song is featured on all of METALLICA's live albums and DVDs released after 1991 and has been played live at award ceremonies and benefit concerts. It is considered to be METALLICA's signature song to the general public.
METALLICA's self-titled "black album" has sold more than 16 million copies in the U.S., according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
2Cellos, music's most thrilling and progressive instrumental duo, have released a new music video for "Whole Lotta Love". The new track combines Led Zeppelin's classic song with Beethoven's 5th Symphony.
Of making the video, Luka says, "It was a lot of fun – we wanted to incorporate two different time periods to showcase that our music is timeless and for everyone! It was a dynamic filming situation since we had to clone ourselves from two cellists to four cellists – talk about being in two places at once!
2Cellos new album Celloverse (Portrait/Sony Music Masterworks) is available now. Self-produced by Sulic and Hauser, Celloverse showcases 2Cellos' unique ability to reinvent current and classic rock/pop songs, starting with "The Trooper Overture," a metal-meets-classical mash up of Iron Maiden's hit and Rossini's "William Tell Overture." The album includes their take on AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" (video has 57 million views!), the hit pop song "Wake Me Up" by Avicii, "I Will Wait" by Mumford & Sons and Michael Jackson's "They Don't Care About Us." Rounding out Celloverse is the Paul McCartney classic "Live And Let Die," with special guest Lang Lang and the title track, an original song penned and arranged by 2Cellos.
"Forever", the new video from the Dutch female-fronted band NEMESEA — famous for combining rock with electronica to stir up a dark and strangely addictive brew — can be seen below. The song is taken from the band group's fourth album, "Uprise", which will be released on April 29 via Napalm Records.
According to a press release, "Uprise" "offers intense and soulful alternative rock complete with a subtle breath of goth and loudly demands the attention the band undoubtedly deserves. 'Uprise' is a gem that reveals its many-splendored colors more and more each time you press play!
"The guitars and Manda Ophuis's outstanding vocals continue to be the driving force behind NEMESEA. "The alternative rock trio has several surefire hits up its sleeve, and it's impossible to not be enthralled by the all-encompassing balance between driving rock and soothing ballads."
"Uprise" track listing: 01. Hear Me02. Twilight03. Forever04. Let It Burn05. Time To Make It06. Can't Believe It07. Light Up The Sky08. Get Out09. Bones10. Hold On11. The Way I Feel (bonus track)12. Broken (bonus track)13. If You Could (bonus track)14. No More (bonus track)

THE GENTLE STORM, the collaboration between AYREON mastermind Arjen Lucassen and former THE GATHERING singer Anneke Van Giersbergen, released its debut album, "The Diary", last year to much critical acclaim. Since then, Anneke and her specially selected band — which does not include Lucassen — have been busy touring the album and this year they will play some select shows, including South America in April and a final show in Amsterdam. To celebrate, the band has launched a live video of the track "Brightest Light", filmed in Zoetermeer. Check it out below.
Lucassen and Van Giersbergen originally crossed paths in 1998 for AYREON's breakthrough third album, "Into The Electric Castle". Ten years later they teamed up again for AYREON's seventh album, "01011001", both having established themselves as world-renowned heavy metal/rock artists in the decade between releases. Although their respective musical styles went in vastly different directions during that time, Arjen and Anneke retained a common ground that ultimately led to the creation of THE GENTLE STORM.
THE GENTLE STORM's double album is an epic production of AYREON proportions, divided into two parts as a full-on metal assault (CD1) and lighter folk arrangements (CD2). It also heralds Anneke's return to the realms of heavy guitars and soaring vocals reminiscent of THE GATHERING's breakthrough album "Mandylion".
Regarding the formation of THE GENTLE STORM, Anneke told Metal Talk: "From the start in my own solo career, I was ready to do something more heavy and I did that with Arjen and THE GENTLE STORM. I was also ready to do something more heavy live after a period of doing a lot of different things; I felt a need to do something more heavy. You know, heavy is a simple word for it, but I hope you know what I mean.
“From the beginning, I knew that Arjen wasn't going to tour with me with the full electric band, so I immediately thought I want to make an Anneke show with the emphasis on THE GENTLE STORM songs but to also do some GATHERING songs, some Devin Townsend songs, some of my own songs. So from the beginning it was going to be a heavy Anneke show, but it's called Anneke presents THE GENTLE STORM, of course. Again I'm having a band name, which is a bit confusing sometimes to people, but I do treat it as a solo effort."
Asked about the possibility of a second THE GENTLE STORM album, Anneke said: "We have some ideas for a new album, but we also knew that I want to make a new solo album first and [Arjen is] writing for a new album of his own. I don't know if it's going to be an AYREON album or a solo album or whatever. So there will be one or two other albums in between, but I suppose we gave this a band name so it's a thing we can continue. We have some ideas for a follow-up either with the same people from the story or what happened next or whatever, so we can do lots of things in the future with THE GENTLE STORM."
Former BLACK SABBATH frontman Tony Martin makes a guest appearance on "So Much More", the new single from VIOLET JANINE, the project led by Swedish singer Janine Nyman.
A video for the song has just been released and can be viewed below.
"So Much More" will be made available as a digital single on April 21. The song is one of nine tracks that will appear on VIOLET JANINE's debut album, "Between Red And Blue", due later in the year.
BLACK SABBATH released six albums with Tony Martin on vocals: "The Eternal Idol" (1987), "Headless Cross" (1989), "Tyr" (1990), "Cross Purposes" (1994), "Cross Purposes Live" (1995) and "Forbidden" (1995).
Martin's last solo album, "Scream", was released in November 2005 via MTM Music. The CD featured legendary drummer Cozy Powell (BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE) on the track "Raising Hell" as well as songwriting contributions by another SABBATH member, Geoff Nicholls.
Belgium's gore-mongers ABORTED will release their ninth full-length album, "Retrogore", on April 22 via Century Media. The CD's highly detailed artwork was masterfully crafted by Christopher Lovell.
The official video for the "Retrogore" song "Divine Impediment" can be seen below.
After delivering two seriously drenched and critically acclaimed albums in the form of "Global Flatline" (2012) and "The Necrotic Manifesto" (2014), ABORTED have returned to not only deliver another album jam-packed with ferociously ripping brutal death metal but also surpass all expectations with what could be considered their most mature and diverse album to date.
Don't fear though, the berserker drums of Ken, the virtuoso guitar skills of Mendel and his new partner Ian, JB's jackhammer bass as well as the possessed growls, shrieks and squeals of commander-in-chief Caluwé are all still prevalent, but this time, ABORTED have added a good portion of epically-crushing atmosphere throughout the twelve tracks found within "Retrogore".
ABORTED recently released a five-track EP titled "Termination Redux" to celebrate the bands 20th year of existence as well as to offer fans a foretaste of what to expect on "Retrogore". ABORTED is:
Sven De Caluwé: GurglorothMendel Bij De Leij: Flesh Upon The Razor WireJB van der Wal: Nocturnal PulseKen Bedene: Hymen Blaster
"Dolce Vita", the new video from Finnish gothic metallers THE 69 EYES, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's eleventh album, "Universal Monsters", whicih will be released on April 22 via Nuclear Blast. The CD was recorded with producer Johnny Lee Michaels at his Helsinki-based Bat Cave Studios.
Commented THE 69 EYES vocalist Jyrki: "I've already had a short review of the album from a journalist who said it sounds exactly like it was recorded after our latest album together with producer Johnny Lee Michaels, which was 'Paris Kills' (2002). But those years between cannot be heard. We sound as fresh as ever, and the music takes itself and us into undiscovered paths and soundscapes. How the album grew into what it has become has surprised us and you can really hear the creativity blooming there. And still it sounds like nobody else but THE 69 EYES. And like always, the best backing vocalists can be found from the closest bars in Helsinki! This time the local latest hard rock heroes SANTA CRUZ were recruited for the backing vocal sessions."
"Universal Monsters" track listing:
01. Dolce Vita02. Jet Fighter Plane03. Blackbird Pie04. Lady Darkness05. Stiv & Johnny06. Never07. Miss Pastis08. Jerusalem09. Shallow Graves10. Rock 'N' Roll Junkie11. Blue
The video for the first single from "Universal Monsters", a song called "Jet Fighter Plane", was directed by Ville Juurikkala, who has previously worked with NIGHTWISH, AMORPHIS and MICHAEL MONROE. Juurikkala also created the "Universal Monsters" cover artwork, which portrays THE 69 EYES members in movie monster lighting, showing them as classic and timeless creatures.
Said Jyrki: "As I first heard the instrumental demo of the song, it immediately sounded for me like a song from the early '80s new wave/post punk days. You know, like when the music was heavily inspired by David Bowie's dark visions, the Cold War, the threat of nuclear war and '1984' kind of the future. So I wrote such lyrics from the past — and all of a sudden, the history started to repeat itself and the Cold War winds started to blow again! It was very strange — all of a sudden THE 69 EYES have a song which is very 'today' and even political, longing back the days of peace. We also wanted the video to be artistic and visually capturing the vibe and theme of the song. There is hope but also darkness, violence and innocence. And it’s only goth 'n' roll."
BARONESS, the Savannah, Georgia metal band which kicks off a five-week North American tour later this month, has released a video for the song "Shock Me".
Filmed in rural Pennsylvania, the clip — which was directed by Don Tyler and John Baizley, with art direction by Karen Jerzyk — brings to life a number of elements from the incredible artwork BARONESS albums are known for. BARONESS has also named the openers for the highly anticipated tour with YOUTH CODE on all non-festival U.S. dates, MUTOID MAN opening shows in Eastern Canada and HEIRESS handling dates in Western Canada.
The tour, which includes stops at the Sasquatch, Project Pabst and Shaky Knees festivals, kicks off on April 29 at the Royale in Boston before wrapping up at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on June 3. The band has also been confirmed for Psycho Las Vegas on August 28.
BARONESS recently wrapped up an extensive European tour, which was hailed as "defiant, dominant and full of heart" (Prog) and a "devilishly complex take on power rock 'n' roll" (London In Stereo).
BARONESS is continuing to tour in support of its fourth album, "Purple", which was released in December through Abraxan Hymns.
Finnish folk metal band Korpiklaani have released a new music video for the track “A Man With A Plan”, featured on their Noita album, released via Nuclear Blast last year.
The Royal Melbourne Institute Of Technology in Australia spent 13 weeks working on this video clip with producers Aaron McLoughlin and Simon Norton - and the result is a hilarious fully animated video.
Korpiklaani launch a co-headline European tour with Moonsorrow tonight. The two powerhouses of Finnish folk metal join forces once again, with both bands playing extended sets.

Norwegian rockers KVELERTAK will release their third album, "Nattesferd", on May 13 via Roadrunner. The follow-up to 2013's "Meir" was recorded live at Amper Tone Studio in Oslo, Norway (KVELERTAK's first effort to be recorded in the group's homeland) and was produced by the band and mixed/engineered by Nick Terry (LINDSTRM, TURBONEGRO, THE LIBERTINES).
The official video for the CD's first single, "1985" can be seen below. The clip was directed, written and edited by Fredrik S. Hana and was produced by Gunhild Oddsen of GOfilm.
Hana commented on the video, stating: "In my third collaboration with KVELERTAK, I wanted to make a music video where the story and characters took the center stage. The video revolves around a micro-community, a four-man cult, where a deep and twisted friendship lies beneath it all. They don't see themselves as a part of the normal society and decide to honor their differences in a unique fellowship. We follow the character's growing addiction to push limits, and in the end, their incompetence to see any real consequences with their actions. I wanted to get across the fantastic feeling of being a part of something, but also the dangers of not daring to take a stand, to just swim along with the current."
Commented KVELERTAK frontman Erlend Hjelvik: "We are finally getting ready to release our third album, 'Nattesferd', on the world, and however cliché it may sound, I'm not afraid to say that this is our best one yet. It's an exquisite smorgasbord of riffs infused with everything between the best of classic rock and heavy metal. I'm certain it will blow the minds of both old and new fans."
KVELERTAK will embark on a North American tour this month with special guests TORCHE and WILD THRONE. MUTOID MAN will also appear on select dates. The trek kicks off April 12 at Portland, Maine's Port City Music Hall and will see KVELERTAK traversing west through early May.
KVELERTAK's forthcoming third LP has garnered "Most Anticipated" accolades from the press, with Rolling Stone featuring it in the magazine's "25 Most Anticipated Metal Albums Of 2016" round-up. Additionally, Stereogum placed the new LP at #36 on their "101 Most Anticipated Albums Of 2016" while Consequence Of Sound included it in their "20 Most Anticipated Metal Albums Of 2016" preview.
"Meir" topped the official chart in Norway. The CD, which sold 1,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release, was issued on March 26, 2013 via Roadrunner Records. It was produced by CONVERGE's Kurt Ballou and features cover artwork by John Dyer Baizley.
Currently on the road with AUGUST BURNS RED and GOOD TIGER, North Carolina-based progressive rock/cutting-edge metal band BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME has released a new performance video from this tour — "The Ectopic Stroll", filmed at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood, California. The track is taken from BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME's recently released album "Coma Ecliptic".
Following their current co-headlining run with AUGUST BURNS RED, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME will appear at premier festivals across the country, including Carolina Rebellion and Rock On The Range.
"Coma Ecliptic" was, once again, an ambitious concept album for BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. This time, the story followed the wanderings of an unidentified man, stuck in a coma, as he journeys through his past lives. Each song was its own episode in a modern day, sort of "The Twilight Zone"-esque fashion. The unidentified man enters each world and is offered a choice: stay, or move on to the next in search of something better, something more "perfect."
As they kick off a five week-long tour tonight, San Antonio metal heavyweights Darkness Divided have released “Back Breaker,” the second video from their self-titled sophomore album, to be released April 22nd via Victory Records. Pre-orders here.
“Back Breaker’ is the most challenging song to play on the new album,” confesses bassist Joe Mora. “It showcases several of our sounds in that it is fast and high energy, but also melodic and powerful.” Guitarist Sebastian Elizondo claims the track is “Influenced by bands and guitar players that inspired me to pick up my instrument. This song feels like a throwback as well as something new to take in.”
“It really showcases all of us with the guitar solos, bass solos, technical drumming and some of my favorite vocals,” promises vocalist Gerard Mora. “I really feel like this song stands out from anything we've written.”
