The official music video for the song "Divided" from DAN REED NETWORK can be seen below. The track istaken from the band's new album, "Fight Another Day", which will be released on June 3 via Frontiers Music Srl. "Fight Another Day" marks the return of one of the most infectious and gifted bands to come out in the melodic rock world in the second part of the '80s. The new album was recorded primarily in the hometown of members of DAN REED NETWORK, Portland, Oregon, while most of the writing process took place in Dan Reed's private studio in Prague in the Czech Republic, where Reed currently resides with his family. Demos were sent back and forth between Derek Shulman (A&R for Frontiers), Brion James, Melvin Brannon Jr. and Rob Daiker, making notes and refining the songs over great distances via the Internet. This process was not unlike the way DAN REED NETWORK composed songs back in the late '80s and early '90s as Dan Reed used to demo out songs on his Akai 12-track machine and bring the songs into rehearsals where the band members would then arrange and flesh out the band's classic "funk rock" sound. After the tracking was completed, keyboardist Rob Daiker went to work editing and mixing each track alongside Shulman and Reed, sending mixes back and forth, making notes and shaping and moulding the album to best represent what DAN REED NETWORK sounds like currently, while paying respect to what brought the band to the world's attention back in the late '80s. "I thought it would be a great experiment and interesting challenge to revisit what endeared the band to so many back in the day and deliver a rock record with funk and soul elements, strong melodies, but this time around incorporate even edgier lyrics while not losing sight that this release needed to be uplifting, infectious, and most of all, powerful when performed live," says Dan Reed.
"The title 'Fight Another Day' represents the fact that after 25 years we were able to gravitate back to the passion we discovered playing together all those years ago, and battle once more!" The band looks forward to the world's response to this new labor of love, and this testament to the bonds of friendship and musical chemistry. Worlwide touring over the next twelve months will support the album release. An EPK (Electronic Press Kit) for the album is available below.

The official video for the song "Lost And Alone" from Lancaster, Pennsylvania's FROM ASHES TO NEW can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's debut album, "Day One", which was released on February 26 via Better Noise Records.
Regarding how FROM ASHES TO NEW came up with its band mate, co-vocalist and melodic linchpin Chris Musser told Hardrock Haven: "The name FROM ASHES TO NEW came from a song lyric that Matt [Brandyberry, vocals] and I had from a previous band that never really went anywhere. But it kind of symbolizes the fact that all of our other metal bands burnt out over the years, and we all pulled together to make this new combination or cross breed of different genres, this metal rock cocktail. That's where it kind of came from, but what it has come to mean to me now is that this life is full of people place situations that eventually no longer suit you and you have to be conscious of when your being held you back, and be aware of when to move on. I like to try to not burn bridges in the process, but some situations you've got to make sure you don't relive those mistakes so sometimes you got to burn the bridge to start anew."
FROM ASHES TO NEW will take part in the "We're All In This Together" tour alongside HELLYEAH, ESCAPE THE FATE and NEW YEARS DAY beginning May 2 in Baltimore, Maryland. Tickets are on sale now with a special incentive for rock fans: each ticket bought will come with a free eight-track tour sampler featuring unreleased and released tracks from each band on the bill. FROM ASHES TO NEW will be handing over the exclusive song "Who's Laughing Now", not featured on "Day One", and, of course, fan favorite "Through It All".
Psychopunch have released a video for their track “On A Night Like This (Hell Yeah)”, featured on their latest studio album, Sweet Baby Octane, released last year.
The new video was created by by Beastwood Films, filmed by Dirk Behlau at Das Bett, Frankfurt & MTC, Cologne during March 2016.

Southern California’s Nails will release You Will Never Be One Of Us on June 17th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Today, on the eve of their Choosing Death Fest appearance, the band reveal album details and the music video for the title track. The new video, directed by Jimmy Hubbard, can be found below.
Comments vocalist/guitarist Todd Jones: "“You Will Never Be One Of Us” is the title track and also the opening track from our new album. I can't deal with trying to write some clever, witty, or whatever type of descriptive garbage filled with barbs about how our band is awesome and other bands suck (which is absolute peasant bullshit), so I'll cut to the chase. This is to date, our favourite song. It's a song which represents almost every side of Nails. When it comes time to announce a record, it's really difficult for us to pick the first song to let the world hear because any Nails record to date is more about the LP as a whole and not 1 song really represents the full LP, but I can say with no hesitation, this song represents this LP and we're confident that we should be releasing this song first. “You Will Never Be One Of Us” is about about the pain and the pride that goes into being involved in hardcore/punk/metal unconditionally...being a lifer. It's a knife to the throat of the people who come and liter their bullshit and impose on everyone for their own selfish agenda. It's for everyone who dedicates themselves to their craft...their music...their passion...whatever the fuck it is, and seeing someone come along and attach themselves to what you do/love and abuse it, with no regard or respect for it. This song is not for Nails, but for all of US.
"As far as the video goes, we needed something that represented us and wasn't fake. The world really doesn't need another 'band playing in a warehouse' music video, but again, without being condescending with some passively aggressive description and putting other videos down, we believe this video not only stands out as far as quality and expression, but represents us in the best possible way that a music video could. It conveys the emotions that you might experience from us if you come to one of our shows. This video shows what we are, doing what we do in this band. No pretense, no overblown image, no bullshit, no gimmicks, no artificial/cheap attention grab. This video IS Nails. Fucking period.
"We hope you guys dig this shit. We worked really hard on everything with the LP. Wrest did the artwork which is undoubtedly the best representation Nails has had so far for an album cover, the video you're seeing/hearing...everything. This record represents Nails more so than any of our other records. You Will Never Be One Of Us is the epitome of Nails to date. It is our apex (up to this point). We know if you're already a fan of the band that you'll love this record. If you've never heard of us before, we appreciate you checking this shit out. 'OUR PAIN IS NOT YOUR PAIN, OUR PRIDE IS NOT YOUR PRIDE - YOU WILL NEVER BE ONE OF US'. Much love and respect."
You Will Never Be One Of Us was recorded, mixed and produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge, High On Fire). Artwork was created by WHTHD. "Mechanisms Of Omniscience", the new video from the Massachusetts-based extreme metal outfit ABNORMALITY, can be seen below. The clip was directed and produced by Jim Foster of Red13media.com.
"Mechanisms Of Omniscience" is the title track of ABNORMALITY's sophomore album, which will be released on April 29 via Metal Blade.
Formed in 2005, ABNORMALITY drew its members from the ranks of units such as TERATISM, FORCED ASPHYXIATION, GORATORY and SEXCREMENT, and they have worked patiently and persistently to build up a grassroots following, maintaining their integrity while steadily expanding beyond their local scene. In 2010, they dropped their debut EP, "The Collective Calm In Mortal Oblivion", which immediately drew attention in the underground, followed by the crushing and critically acclaimed full-length, "Contaminating The Hive Mind" (2012), cementing their status as one of the heaviest and most dynamic bands in the genre. Now, with their upcoming sophomore effort, "Mechanisms Of Omniscience" — produced once again by Peter Rutcho, and featuring artwork by vocalist Mallika Sundaramurthy — the quintet have never been more serious about getting their message out there, as well as ensuring legions of the moshing masses incur whiplash.

ABNORMALITY will join SOULFLY, SUFFOCATION, BATTLECROSS and LODY KONG on a USA trek that kicks off April 22 in San Antonio, Texas.
British guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite, MGT for short, has signed with Hanover record imprint SPV and is scheduled to release his first solo album, "Volumes", at the end of June. The lead single, "Knowing Me Knowing You", a cover version of the ABBA classic featuring guest vocalist Ville Valo of HIM, will be available from April 15, mixed by Tim Palmer and mastered by Maor Appelbaum.
The official video for "Knowing Me Knowing You" can be seen below.
Speaking about the cover, Mark Thwaite said: "The single sleeve and their video had a wintery feel to it, so when we decided to shoot a video for our version, both myself and Ville Valo agreed we should try and capture some of the feel of the ABBA version and have a winter vibe to our video as well.
"We shot my footage up in the snow covered mountains and Ville's close-ups in front of a fire place that is secret place in Helsinki. We're pleased with it and director Ville Jurrikkala did a fantastic job!"
Valo is not the only guest musician on "Volumes", which has turned into a veritable all-star recording. Other appearances include Wayne Hussey of Mark's previous band THE MISSION, Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls of THE WONDER STUFF, Ricky Warwick (BLACK STAR RIDERS, THIN LIZZY), Raymond Watts (PIG, KMFDM), Saffron (REPUBLICA), Julianne Regan (ALL ABOUT EVE), Ashton Nyte (THE AWAKENING), Carlo Van Putten (DEAD GUITARS) and goth legend Andi Sex Gang.
Originally from Birmingham, England, MGT appeared on over 20 albums. He worked with THE MISSION, Peter Murphy (BAUHAUS), Tricky, Gary Numan, Ricky Warwick, Al Jourgensen (MINISTRY), P.J. Harvey, Roger Daltrey (THE WHO), members of the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, Alanis Morissette, WARRIOR SOUL as well as Tommy Victor and PRONG, to name a few.
On the occasion of his joint concert with Ricky Warwick at London's Kentish Town Forum, Mark Gemini Thwaite, Silke Yli-Sirniö (Tough Enough Promotion) and Gero Herrde (A&R, SPV) met to sign the contracts. They later voiced their evident joy about the recently sealed collaboration.
Mark Gemini Thwaite: "Having been a member of THE MISSION for many years, I have a longstanding relationship with Gero Herrde and SPV, a great independent label who have released several of our albums and live DVDs over the years. Now that I am finally releasing a solo album, I feel at home releasing the record through my friends at SPV!"
Silke Yli-Sirniö, management Tough Enough Promotion: "When Mark first sent me the tracks last autumn, I was immediately enchanted! No doubt that I wanted to be part of this project after being asked so kindly. A big THANK YOU actually goes to Ville Valo of HIM who first brought my attention to MGT. I am happy that at least some people are still making music like this in 2016 — and that people like Gero Herrde of SPV still believe in this kind of music!"
Gero Herrde, A&R at SPV: "Mark and I have known each other for many years; we never really lost sight of each other since our work with THE MISSION. With such a brilliant musician, it was only a question of time before he started working on his own solo album, recruiting the crème de la crème of independent rock vocalists for his project. Now the album is here at last and I'm proud to have the opportunity to release it on SPV!"
The official video for "Fun Done", the first new recording in two decades from Welsh "ragga metal" cult favorites DUB WAR, can be seen below. The song, which was produced by former NOVOCAINE member and AUTOMATIC producer Richard Jackson, is being released as a double A-side seven-inch single for Record Store Day and is limited to just 500 copies.
"It's been amazing to write with my old mates in DUB WAR again," said DUB WAR's 48-year-old singer Benji Webbe. "I have missed the punk rock cheap sweetie fun element! It feels like I'm cheating on my wife [SKINDRED] wth my old girlfriend [DUB WAR] and it's fun. Shhhh, don't tell 'em!"
"Fun Done", the first in a series of twelve planned recordings from DUB WAR, is being released on the newly created Saint Ringland Records and is backed by "Fun Dubby Dozy".
"We're not going to release an album — we are going to release twelve singles," Benji told Wales Online. "We are going to take as long it takes to get the twelve done. We'll be recording over the next two or three years. And every time we do a show, which will be not that often, we will get a single pressed up. Then after twelve shows, we'll have an album's worth and we will put it on a CD."
"Fun Done" can be ordered from the DUB WAR webstore.
Richard Z. Kruspe (RAMMSTEIN, EMIGRATE) has contributed guest vocals to "Move It", the latest single from Tomoyasu Hotei, the Japanese guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer who is best known internationally for his "Kill Bill" theme "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity". Echoing the upbeat industrial vibe of the song and shot in Berlin, the accompanying video is dynamic and starkly atmospheric with intense performances from both Hotei and Richard. Hotei comments on the video: "I wanted to make it simple, because Richard has a very strong character, and I think we have different characters. First, we wanted to try to do a story, but now it's more like a focus on two characters on the same screen." Richard explained his inspiration for the lyrics to Metal Hammer: "I listened to it and the first image I had was this Bond character in my mind. I was seeing a guy going through streets and pushing everything away. I thought, 'Oh, that's interesting, let's try that'. And we pretty much recorded the vocals in one or two days." "Move It" was released as two-track single, featuring a "Hounds" remix of the song, done by Olly Burden, known for collaborating with THE PRODIGY on their most recent album. "Move It" is taken from Hotei's debut U.K. album "Strangers", which was released last year through Spinefarm and is a wide-ranging body of work with a dramatic sonic palette demonstrating Hotei's diversity as a songwriter and virtuoso guitarist. Other album guests include Iggy Pop, who lent his vocals to the high-energy rock stomper "How The Cookie Crumbles", BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's Matt Tuck on the cinematic "Kill To Love You" plus southern soulstress Shea Seger on the pulsating electro-blues boogie "Texas Groove". Heralded by Time Out as "iconic", and a genuine superstar in his native Japan where he has sold more than 40 million records, Hotei is sought-after as a collaborator both in the studio and on stage. Having previously joined forces with artists such as David Bowie, Andy Mackay (ROXY MUSIC), INXS, BLONDIE and Joni Mitchell, he also performed with THE ROLLING STONES on their 50th-anniversary tour. Hotei has just finished a European tour and is currently on a major tour of Japan.
French rockers Deadline have released a video for “Fire Inside”, taken from their debut full-length album of the same name, released on Bad Reputation Records. The video was directed and produced by the band.

Tasmanian death metal has never been in finer form and Infernal Outcry is making all the right moves . Now, after the release of their EP Mass Extinction Requiem I, they present the video clip for single 'Eclipsed".
An epic 5 minute short film, the clip shows a man's struggle with time and humanity's reckless destruction of the Earth via it's nonchalance and ignorance. A man literally out of time. A foreboding message about the over-population of the Earth and the reluctance to care for the Planet which sustains us... but for how long?
The twisting and turning narrative becomes the focus of the clip, with Hobart's hills and valleys serving as an amazingly picturesque backdrop. Jimmy Harmsworth of Harmless Pictures was at the helm of the project and created the bleak, grey world of Future Australian outback, wracked with desolation, over-population and managed also to show the brutality of the band's live persona that punctuates the film clip’s final 2 minutes.
For the uninitiated, Infernal Outcry is a technical and progressive extreme metal band based in Hobart, Tasmania. Punishing drums, maliciously methodical guitars, and deathly screams all play their part in luring the listener into a diverse musical landscape of weighty, multi-textured, and brooding compositions. Drawing such on influences as Dream Theater and Meshuggah, Infernal Outcry’s unique twist of contemporary progressive death metal is a fusion of complex rhythms and sinister melodies teeming with intensity.
Infernal Outcry’s debut, Mass Extinction Requiem I, produced by legend of the Australian Metal scene, Joe Haley (Psycroptic), was released on March 18th, thanks to a grant from Tasmanian Regional Arts Fund.
High-energy Miami noise rock quartet, Wrong, have released an official video for the track “Mucilage”, from their self-titled debut full-length, out on April 29th via Relapse Records. Find the video below.
After steamrolling onto the scene in 2014 with their promising debut EP and unrelenting live show (and featuring former members of Torche and Kylesa amongst their ranks), Wrong play Helmet / Unsane inspired heavy noise rock for a new millennium. The band signed with Relapse Records in the summer of 2015, after they made waves on their first North American tour with now-labelmates Torche and Nothing.
After spending the rest of 2015 on tour with Black Tusk and House of Lightning, Wrong put the finishing touches on their debut full-length at PineCrust studios in Gainesville, FL. Pre-order the album at this location.
Norway's THE WRETCHED END will release its new album, "In These Woods, From These Mountains", on April 22 via Indie Recordings.
It has been nearly four years since new sounds have emerged from the fiery studio alliance of former EMPEROR/ZYKLON guitarist Samoth, MINDGRINDER/WINDIR guitarist/vocalist Cosmo, and DARK FUNERAL drummer Nils "Dominator" Fjellstrom.
Boasting a darker foundation than its predecessors, "In These Woods, From These Mountains" was recorded by the band themselves and mixed with producer Marius Strand in Norway. Mastered at Fascination Street in Sweden, it is without doubt the strongest and most varied of the extreme metal band's growing sonic portfolio.
During the creation process of the album, Samoth and Cosmo made a conscious decision to strive for a more organic and spontaneous sound. Samoth notes: "We went into this recording with a do-it-yourself attitude. We recorded everything ourselves in different locations and setups. We really wanted to capture our raw energy. It really was a principle focus for us."
"Dead Icons" opens the album with fervent drumming and the signature buzz of Samoth's celebrated six-strings. Harrowing vocals cater to the songs blasting and calculated cadence. Old friend Attila Csihar (MAYHEM, TORMENTOR) lends hand on "Old Norwegian Soul" while LEPROUS vocalist/keyboardist Einar Solberg and RED HARVEST's LRZ contribute on the band's unexpected adaptation of Bel Canto's "Dewy Fields" for the album's epic closer.
Due to Samoth's extensive involvement with the assemblage of EMPEROR's 20th-aniversary headliner shows for their pivotal album "In The Nightside Eclipse", the recording process of "In These Woods, From These Mountains" has been a longer journey than originally intended.
"It's great to finally have this album ready for release," says Samoth. "It took us some years for various reasons; different things in our every day and professional lives that took a lot of focus on our parts. We never felt any great pressure. Looking back, I think the whole process affected the album in a positive way. I personally feel I've almost come full circle with this new album, bringing more elements rooted in the darkness of black metal."

"In These Woods, From These Mountains" features design work by Norwegian artists Trine Paulsen and Kim Sølve (ULVER, ARCTURUS, ENSLAVED). The album will be available on CD, LP, and digital formats.
"In The Age Of The Consecrated Vampire We All Get High", the new video from Rob Zombie, can be seen below. The song is taken from his new upcoming album, "The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser", which will be released on April 29 via UMe/T-Boy Records. The CD was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris and features Zombie alongside guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D and drummer Ginger Fish.
Zombie told RollingStone.com about the new clip: "I always loved the way Elvis looked on his comeback special standing in front of a giant 'ELVIS' sign. So I figured, let's do that, but instead of my name, it will say 'GET HIGH.' It's a simple message for everyone."

Rob Zombie spoke to Louder Noise about why he has held back the release of his new album even though the record was completed months ago. Zombie said: "What I wanna do is I wanna do a very large visual component to go with the record — shoot thirteen videos, or shoot a movie go with it. And because of [Zombie's upcoming sixth live-action feature film, a horror thriller called] '31', I couldn't get to that yet."
Zombie told Loudwire that the follow-up to 2013's "Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor" was recorded over the course of a year, with the band working for a few weeks, taking a break for a few months, then coming back. He said, "We were living with it for a long time, and it really — I think it made the record so much better."
He continued: "I love it. I mean, I really like the record. The last record was my favorite record in a long time. 'Cause I had kind of hit a low with making records. It just kind of got boring; I hated being in the studio, and I kind of got reinspired on the last record. And this sort of follows up on it. So I think that, much like '31'… You just have those things in your career where you're, like, they all can't be the best one. With records, sometimes you have those moments where you can tell, 'This one's special.' And that's how it feels."
Italian metallers, Ibridoma have renewed their partnership with SG Records. The band’s fourth album, entitled December, will be released on May 6th (in digital download on May 4th). The album has two special guests, Paul Di' Anno and Blaze Bayley. Album cover artwork was created by Gustavo Sazes (Arch Enemy, Kamelot).
The band comment on the album concept: "After consuming all the resources of the earth, after polluted the soil, the air and the sea, after killed each animal, cut every tree, will remain only desolation and silence... Before arriving in hell, we'll realize that we should stop and reflect on the meaning of all this violence, and finally try to change our behavior! How would the world be without the man? ...December.”
December is yet another evolution of Ibridoma's sound, and while awaiting for the album release Ibridoma give us a taste of what is to come, with the new video "Chemtrails", watch it below.

Canada’s Cauldron have released an official video for their track “Burning At Both Ends, featured on the group’s new release, In Ruin (The End Records). The live performance footage was shot at The Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, California on February 3rd.
Says frontman Jason Decay, "This song is too relevant in the sense that it's about going too hard for too long and facing the ultimate crash and burn. These were fun times and we hope you enjoy!"
Following the band's horrific Valentine's Day tour van accident outside of Dallas, Texas, the members of Cauldron have received an outpouring of support from fans.
The band, as part of their North American tour with Enforcer, Warbringer and Exmortus, were en route to New Orleans, LA for their next show when their van hit debris from a previous accident on the roadway causing the vehicle to roll over several times before coming to rest on its roof.
While band members Jason Decay, Myles Deck and tour manager Henry Yuan escaped relatively unscathed with only cuts and bruises, guitarist Ian Chains suffered multiple fractured vertebrae in his back and neck, a fractured sternum, and a fractured hip bone. He is currently recovering after spending a week in a Dallas hospital.
Due to the crash and Chains’ injuries, Cauldron were forced to cancel all remaining dates of their North American tour including a headlining show at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, NY.
Thankfully, due to some quick thinking, the show at Saint Vitus Bar was realigned as a benefit event and featured sets from Natur and Tower. All proceeds from the door and sales of leftover tour merch - as well as exclusive benefit merch going straight to Ian's recovery fund.
The band have now launched an official donation site where by simply purchasing an item off basementmetal.com you are helping the band. For those looking to donate without making a purchase, there is an option on the site to send the band an amount of your choosing.
Says the band, "We would like to thank all of the people that have expressed their thoughts and support. The last couple of weeks have been tough, but it just goes to show how amazing our fans are. THANK YOU so much to everyone who came out and supported our cause, especially Natur, Tower & Saint Vitus Bar - you're all the best and we really appreciate it! Hope to see you all again at Lee's Palace in Toronto on April 8th (we have a very special line-up announcement coming soon)! Cheers and all the best!"
To support Cauldron in getting back on their feet, The End Records has created an exclusive merch bundle on The Omega Order dedicated to Ian Chains, with all proceeds going directly to the band.
German progressive metallers Long Distance Calling will release their new album, Trips, on April 29th via Inside Out Records. A music video for the album’s lead track “Getaway”, can be found below.
German hard rock veterans SCORPIONS will release the "tour edition" of their latest album, "Return To Forever", on April 22 via Century Media. The set comes opulently stacked with two brand-new live DVDs and is bound to make fans' hearts leap for joy. Apart from the standard album's twelve tracks, the CD contains all seven bonus tracks, which to date, have only been released on special editions of the album. The live DVDs are even more expansive, offering generous bonus material.
Included are two complete concerts from last year: The open-air gig at the French Hellfest festival, where they headlined in June, and their show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York featuring an impressive guest performance on "No One Like You" by twelve-year-old guitarist Brandon Niederauer.
A live version of "We Built This House", captured during SCORPIONS' September 12, 2015, stop at Barclays Center, can be seen below.
The brand-new fifteen-minute video documentary "On The Road In America" by Dennis Dirksen gets to the heart of the matter that the SCORPIONS are able to consistently attract new generations of fans, who are delighted by their songs, sound and shows. Shot during the current world tour in California and Las Vegas, it gives a voice to fans spanning from teenagers to rock 'n' roll veterans. The film impressively shows how popular the SCORPIONS are in the U.S., and it's touching to see fans burst into tears while taking photos with the musicians. One highlight is the story of the Ukrainian woman who at the time used "Wind Of Change" as an impetus to emigrate to the U.S., and has been a dedicated follower of the band ever since. After all, the SCORPIONS have not only left their mark on history but continue to influence their fans' biographies.
In an extensive track-by-track interview, Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs offer a sneak peek into the band's musical universe with anecdotes about the origin and meaning of the songs on "Return To Forever". The SCORPIONS manage to blend new songs like "Going Out With A Bang", "We Built This House" and "Rock 'N' Roll Band" seamlessly with their fulminant repertoire of rock classics from "Big City Nights" and "Blackout" to "Still Loving You" and "Rock You Like A Hurricane". This might also be the open secret allowing the SCORPIONS to continuously approach their live shows with so much freshness, passion and conviction. The SCORPIONS have been going full throttle for more than fifty years now, with their best-selling albums dominating the charts for over 500 weeks in Germany alone, and countless chart successes abroad, as well as thousands of unforgettable concerts in cities like Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Moscow, New York, Los Angeles, Paris or Berlin.
The "Return To Forever" tour edition will be available as a CD + 2DVD digipack and as a download.
Legendary hard rock vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) recently traveled to Vikos Gorge in northern Greece to film a video for the song "Edge Of Tomorrow" from his SUNSTORM project with director Menelaos Sykovelis. The track is the title cut of SUNSTORM's fourth album, which will be released on May 13 via Frontiers Music Srl.
You can now watch the "Edge Of Tomorrow" video below.
Regarding why he chose Vikos Gorge as the location for his new video, Joe told Epirus Gate (see clip below): "'Edge Of Tomorrow' is basically a lyric about the apocalypse that's happening right now and the geopolitical situation in our world. So I came to Greece, and I came to Vikos canyon, the deepest and longest canyon in the world, the canyon of the Gods. This is where all of civilization started. With the golden eagle that Zeus would use and have on his hand, he flies with us. He represents the freedom that people should have instead of the enslavement which the world has become from the geopolitical powers."
He continued: "When I spoke to the producer and director, Menelaos, who, actually, his name comes from the king of Sparta… He's a visionary and an incredible artist, and he knew that this particular location was where we should do this, where we should show the world what is happening in symbology, in symbolic form.
"So watch this video, set yourself free and know that Vikos canyon, the canyon of the Gods, is here for you. See the spectacular, most amazing place on Earth."
SUNSTORM is Joe Lynn Turner's successful AOR/melodic rock project, something that came about for the first time in 2006 when Frontiers president Serafino Perugino wanted to dig up some unreleased gems that Turner wrote during the late '80s and early '90s.
The very good reviews and acclaim which surrounded the debut self-titled release was the fuel that ignited three more records, until the project was momentarily shelved when Joe started working on the RATED X supergroup with Tony Franklin and Carmine Appice.
After the release of the RATED X album, Joe wanted to go back to the more melodic material of SUNSTORM, but also wanted to retain some of the harder edge which the RATED X album had. So he asked producer and songwriter Alessandro Del Vecchio (HARDLINE, EDGE OF FOREVER) to come up with some new songs in that vein. Del Vecchio joined forces with Simone Mularoni, guitar player of Italian prog metallers DGM. Together they developed songs which were exactly what Joe wanted, so it was a natural process to move forward and record another SUNSTORM album. As usual, other songwriters, such as Soren Kronqvist and Daniel Palmqvist completed the array of individuals involved.
Joe Lynn Turner said: "This new SUNSTORM album is the best of the series! We went harder... stronger... and heavier than ever before without losing the integrity of what the project is about... I call it melodic metal! The songs are very well crafted, the messages are profound, the performances amazing.. and the sound is incredible! All involved can be very proud of such a great music. I urge anyone who loves great music to check out 'Edge Of Tomorrow'; you won't be disappointed!"

"Prayers/Triangles", the new Charles Bergquist-directed video from the California-based rock band DEFTONES, can be seen below. The track is taken from the group's eighth studio album, titled "Gore", which was released on April 8 via Warner Bros. Records. The CD was produced by Matt Hyde and DEFTONES. DEFTONES singer Chino Moreno said that "Prayers/Triangles" was very much in the band's classic style, explaining: "It's just one of those songs that's very 'DEFTONES-esque,' where that dynamic is there as far as that ebb and flow...that dichotomy is what makes us who were are in a way. It's sort of our DNA. So I feel like it's a good representation of where we're at right now and where we've been in the past as well."
"Gore" serves as the follow-up to 2012's "Koi No Yokan", which featured the Top 15 rock radio hit "Tempest".
The new disc features a guest appearance from ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell.
Moreno told U.K.'s Kerrang! magazine about the new album title: "If you look at the title and the artwork, it's about a juxtaposition that, for me, is very beautiful.
"I think DEFTONES have always flirted with dynamic and that yin-and-yang of things that are provocative and things that are beautiful. Where our last two album titles were a lot more optimistic, I think this title is intentionally different. This record is very different.
"I feel like 'Diamond Eyes' and 'Koi No Yokan' were brother-sister records in a lot of ways. They were both recording in the same way. And even though it was a tough few years we went through while making those records, I think it was important to have their optimistic outlook."
Moreno also spoke in more detail about the making of "Gore". He said: "We recorded this record in a different way. I'm not saying we went in with any preconceived ideas as such, but I do think we went in knowing that we wanted to make this record a little different from the last two. And I feel, definitely, like we did that. It's still a DEFTONES record — we didn't really have any new influences that changed that — but it's an expansion of what we were comfortable with. And it's important to get out of your comfort zone sometimes witch the music — just to be excited. It's got a different look. A different shade of color. I'd say some shade of purple. I don't know why, but I think it sits somewhere between pink, red and purple. Sometimes when I hear music, I see color, and when it came time to work on the artwork for this batch of songs, I knew exactly what I wanted."
