JUDAS PRIEST: Video Footage Of Toronto ConcertRJK Studios has uploaded video footage of JUDAS PRIEST's November 12 performance at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Check out the clips below.
JUDAS PRIEST singer Rob Halford recently told the Q104 radio station in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada about the band's plans to record the follow-up album to 2014's "Redeemer Of Souls": "Well, you know, in rock and roll, you've gotta kind of strike while the iron is hot, and that iron has been burning hot for decades for PRIEST now. It doesn't show any sign of cooling off, I can tell you that. The cool thing about where we're at right now is, of course, having Richie [Faulkner, new PRIEST guitarist] with us and having gone through that first writing experience together [on 'Redeemer Of Souls']. We were so motivated to keep writing as we were going along, but our label had a time schedule for us to keep, so we had to put the brakes on and start recording the songs that we'd written. And with that in mind, we're raring to go again, and I'm sure there'll be another PRIEST record in the not-too-distant metal future."
Asked whether he feels that "the clock is ticking" on JUDAS PRIEST's recording and touring career, Rob said: "Yeah, the clock is ticking, [but] we’re trying to hold it back. [Laughs] But it's great, man. I've gotta tell you, this band is having the time of its life, and we're very excited to be back out on the road after a short break from our last show, in Wacken in Germany at the big heavy metal festival there in front of eighty thousand heavy metal maniacs. So we're still bringing the fire and the metal with us wherever we go."
"Redeemer Of Souls" was released in July 2014. The follow-up to 2008's double-disc concept album "Nostradamus" was billed as a return to JUDAS PRIEST's heavy-metal roots.
"Redeemer Of Souls" sold around 32,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 6 on The Billboard 200 chart.

SUPERSUCKERS To Release Country Album In JanuaryThe mighty Supersuckers are known as a band that play dirty, straight and honest rock n' roll. Eddie Spaghetti is singing one hymn after the other in his very own, supercool way, supported by guitar player Marty Chandler and drummer Captain Von Streicher. This time the band is coming up with - surprise, surprise - a Country album! There's no doubt that this album will take the hearts of the Supersuckers fans by storm and we're pretty sure that some new people can be added to the fan base at the end of the day.
The Supersuckers were joined by such kindred spirits as outlaw singer-songwriter Hayes Carll, who’s featured on the rollicking hard-luck tale “This Life...With You” and acclaimed alt-country songstress Lydia Loveless, who adds her distinctive voice to the bittersweet “I Can’t Cry”. Also lending their talents are Asleep At The Wheel fiddler Jason Roberts, Butthole Surfers member Jeff Pinkus, noted neo-honky-tonker Jesse Dayton and Willie Nelson’s longtime harmonica sidekick Mickey Raphael.
The new album is called Holdin' The Bag and will be released via Steamhammer / SPV January 29, 2016 within Europe. Two physical formats are available: a digipak CD (containing one EU nonus song), and a limted vinyl version - 500 only on colored (orange) 180gr. vinyl, printed innersleeves, one vinyl only bonus track and the CD version in a paper sleeve. Find the detailed tracklistings below.

Eddie Spaghetti on the new album: “If you don’t like Holdin’ The Bag, then you really don’t like the Supersuckers,” Eddie says. “I really feel like this and Get The Hell are the best records we’ve ever made. I feel like, after 25 years, we’re finally getting the hang of this. We’re still that hungry little band that pictures itself being much bigger than it really is.”
Fans will most likely know about the fact that Eddie is fighting cancer after the diagnosis of stage-3 throat cancer - so a word on this too:
Eddie: “It’s really humbling, and it’s great to know that so many people care,” Supersuckers leader Eddie Spaghetti says of the band’s fans, who have stepped up in droves to lend support following the front man’s recent diagnosis of stage-3 throat cancer. The indefatigable singer/bassist/songwriter’s illness — which coincides with release of the Supersuckers’ bracing new album Holdin’ The Bag — has forced the band to cancel a planned European tour and put their touring activities on temporary hold, while Eddie undergoes surgery, radiation treatment and rehab. Meanwhile, the Eddie Spaghetti Cancer Fight Fund has already raised more than $57,000 to help pay for his treatment, thanks to the kindness and generosity of the group’s fans.

KIRK HAMMETT Admits METALLICA Thought About Firing LARS ULRICHOn November 4, METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett was interviewed on the "Quinn & Cantara" morning show on Albany's classic rock radio station PYX 106. You can now listen to the chat using the widget below. A couple of excerpts follow (transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET).
On the progress of the recording sessions for METALLICA's follow-up to 2008's "Death Magnetic":
Kirk: "You know, I can't really put any sort of markers on how far we are along. All I can tell you, man, is we're working on it. And sometimes it goes quickly, sometimes it doesn't. Right now, I'm waiting to go in and throw down some guitars. As it stands right now, we're trudging away at it. Most likely it will come out next year — in a perfect world, if we can keep to our schedule. And we'll see. That's all I can really say."
On whether it really takes four years to make an album, from beginning to end:
Kirk: "No. The reason why it's taking us so long is 'cause we have all these other things on our schedule. I mean, we made a movie, we did an album with Lou Reed, we're doing all these other small, little tours. What it really is, our schedule is so full that it's affecting our [writing and recording] schedule. I mean, if our schedule was empty and all we had to do was concentrate on writing and recording an album, we could probably do it in a year or a year and a half. But other things are on the schedule. And, you know, we all have families, life gets in the way, blah blah blah. But I think if we were totally focused and we had nothing [else to do], I think we could get an album out in about a year and a half."
On whether there is any truth to the rumors that METALLICA needs to make albums and stay on the road in order to generate revenue to cover some of the money-losing investments — such as the "Through The Never" movie and the Orion Music + More festival — from the past couple of years:
Kirk: "Well, we're gonna make an album regardless of anything like that. 'Cause, as musicians and as artists, we feel the need to, you know, go out there and make albums. Having said that, we need to play a certain number of shows every year just to keep the METALLICA machine rolling. And that, as well, kind of interferes with our schedule. If we were the richest men on earth, we'd still probably wanna be artists about it and make albums… And, you know, to a certain extent, you are right: these projects take money, there's a cost attached to them, and that's another reason to keep it all going, 'cause we want the METALLICA machine to run as smoothly and as efficiently as possible. And if that means we have to play, you know, 15-20 gigs a year, so be it."
On whether there is any truth to rumors that METALLICA planned to fire drummer Lars Ulrich back in the mid-'80s:
Kirk: "You know, that was just an old thing, you know. I think at one point or another, we were pissed off at Lars, around maybe 1985 or something. We were unhappy and we might have grumbled something to someone. And then that person might have picked up on it and made it something a lot bigger than it actually was… To be completely honest, [Lars] has a lot of drive, and that's a part of the reason why I love the man. His drive and his motivation is just so intense, you know."
The story of METALLICA's alleged dissatisfaction with Ulrich gained credence back in 2009 when former METALLICA guitarist and current MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that he was told by Ian that on the last METALLICA tour Cliff Burton was on before the bassist died, METALLICA was planning on kicking Ulrich out at the trek's end. Mustaine said, "That's what Scott told me. He said that when METALLICA got home, that James, Cliff and Kirk were going to fire Lars."
For his part, Ian never denied telling Mustaine about METALLICA's alleged plans to replace Ulrich and has gone on to recount the story in his autobiography, "I'm The Man: The Story Of That Guy From Anthrax", which was released in October 2014 via Da Capo Press.
Speaking to Sid Black of the 94.3 KILO radio station in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ian says about the incident: "A lot of people have been asking me about this, and that story's actually been out there for a long time.
"I'm not outing this; that would never be my intention. My book's not like an exposé; it's not that kind of a book.
"But yeah, the story was that they had made a plan that they were gonna make a change and get a new drummer. We were all kind of blown away by that, because it was the four of them. It was just, like, 'Wow! Really?' And they were, like, 'Yeah. When we finish this tour, we're gonna find a new drummer.'
"What could I do? Just as a guy who was friends with all of them, you feel, 'That's a bummer for Lars. That sucks.' And at the same time, you hope that your friends can continue on and do what they wanna do with themselves.
"Obviously, history turned out differently for METALLICA and they went on to become, arguably, one of the biggest bands on the planet. So I'm just glad it all… obviously it all worked out for my friends. [It was a] horrible tragedy that Cliff was killed in that bus accident."
Despite the fact that Hetfield, Hammett and Burton appeared determined to get a new drummer, Ian says that "I honestly think it wouldn't have happened. 'Cause, believe me, I've thought about it quite a bit over the years. I honestly think that the tour would have finished and I think cooler heads would have prevailed, maybe, and I don't think the change would have taken place. That's what I believe."
Speaking to Classic Rock magazine back in 2009, Mustaine was asked if he regretted breaking the story about METALLICA's alleged proposed sacking of Lars Ulrich. "No," Mustaine replied. "It was something Scott told me. I was trying to help him promote his autobiography. I love Scott and would never do anything to hurt him — never. But it's what he told me and I know other people who've heard it, too."
He continued: "With all the things that are out there on the Net, I know that Scott's having a bad time. People are starting to say, 'We believe Dave and Scott's a liar. He lied about the thing with Dan [Nelson, the singer who controversially parted company with ANTHRAX].' That's the last thing I wanted. I love Scott. I wish I could just make this thing go away. But I didn't say it, he did." 42

Ritchie Blackmore’s RAINBOW Vocalist RONNIE ROMERO - “These Last Days Have Been Crazy For Me And For Everyone That Surrounds Me”Guitar legend Ritchie Blackmore will be back to the stages of rock in 2016. Two shows in Germany were recently confirmed, taking place at the Monsters Of Rock Festival 2016 on June 18th and Loreley, Freilichtbühneon on June 17th. A UK date has also been confirmed. It will take place on Saturday, June 25th 2016 at Genting Arena in Birmingham, England.
Blackmore also revealed his band lineup for these exclusive shows, which will include singer Ronnie Romero, keyboardist Jens Johansson (Stratovarius), drummer David Keith (Blackmore’s Night) and bassist Bob Nouveau.
In a new interview with Rafabasa.com, vocalist Ronnie Romero discusses the upcoming dates and more. An excerpt follows:
Q: When was the first time you realized that you had a chance to sing with Rainbow? When and how were the first contacts with Ritchie and his management?
A: “That’s true, these last days have been crazy for me and for everyone that surrounds me. I don't know from how long they had me on their list, but they contacted me some months ago, at the beginning of summer, to tell me about a chance for an audition. I deeply remember that “first day” and that first “hello”, doing your daily activities and receiveing an email from Ritchie Blackmore himself is quite hard to assimilate, after a few days days, even weeks.” (laughs)
Q: Why do you think that Ritchie chose you as his new singer? Ritchie himself revealed last September that he had a vocalist who was a cross between Ronnie James Dio and Freddie Mercury. Of course he was talking about you.
A: “You should ask him probably, I just think about how lucky I feel, not just to get the gig, but how the hell they found me! Having so many good singers worldwide. From the first contact I just tried to give my best to get it, I always believed in myself and with the support of my family and close friends, even more. About his words I just can be thankful, he put the bar quite high with his description (laughs). But I'm also glad with his confidence on me to this huge task.”

Blackmore recently spoke with Billboard.com about these special shows:
“I’m now 70, so I just felt like playing some rock ‘n’ roll for a few days. We’re going to do four or five dates of just playing the old rock stuff, Purple stuff and Rainbow. I’m doing it for the fans, for nostalgia, and the singer I found is very exciting; he’s a cross between Dio meets Freddie Mercury. So this will mean exposing a new singer to the masses, and I’m sure he’ll become pretty famous because of his voice.”
Former Rainbow vocalist Graham Bonnet has posted the following statement via his Facebook page:
“I've decided to make a public statement in reference to Ritchie Blackmore’s return to rock so that nothing I say can be taken out of context.
“I read a piece a few days ago that twisted my words a bit and I want to be clear… no one is happier than I about Ritchie’s return to rock. I’m excited to see the band he has chosen as he has introduced so many amazing musician’s to the world and I am sure that this will be no different. To this day, I thank Ritchie for giving me a career in an area of music that I might otherwise have missed. To be clear, I would be thrilled to play with Ritchie again but in all honesty, if there were ever to be a Rainbow reunion, the vocalist position would belong to Ronnie James Dio. Unfortunately, Ronnie left us all too soon and that is no longer possible.
“I share in Ritchie’s excitement introducing a new band as I also have a new project with a great group of musician’s (Conrad, Beth-Ami and Mark) that share in my vision for new music as well as my past catalog that includes Rainbow, MSG, Alcatraz and my solo material. We have tours in the UK, Australia/New Zealand and other points in Europe from January through August of 2016. In addition, my band will be releasing an album of new material as well as a bonus disk of re-recordings at the beginning of the year. I hope each and everyone of you can make it to one of our shows. I look forward to seeing all of my friends!
“I promise to keep it in my pants!”

SCOTT WEILAND Is Open To Reunion With STONE TEMPLE PILOTS: 'It Could Be Cool In The Future'Ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS singer Scott Weiland says that he is open to a reunion with his former bandmates, but says that he would like to "give it a little bit of time" before returns to his previous group.
STP dismissed Weiland in February 2013, claiming that his solo activities and erratic behavior were detrimental to the band.
The group later sued Weiland, with the singer firing off a countersuit and claiming that they could not use the band name without his involvement.
In the meantime, STP hired LINKIN PARK frontman Chester Bennington as their new vocalist, releasing an EP called "High Rise" in October 2013. The band has since parted ways with Bennington and is currently seeking a new singer.
Asked by Louisville's 93.1 The Fox Rocks radio station if he would be willing to go back to STONE TEMPLE PILOTS if they called him and asked him to rejoin the band, Weiland responded (hear audio below): "I think it would be beneficial to wait a little while, give it a little bit of time to let some air kind of breathe between all of us before that happens. Like, you know, a year or something like that."
Pressed about why things didn't work out between him and the other members of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS during their last reunion, Weiland said: "Part of it was the recording process [for 2010's 'Stone Temple Pilots' album]. Don Was was slated to produce the album, and he was there producing the album, and Robert [DeLeo] and Dean [DeLeo] wanted to produce the album with just the band. And I didn't think that was a good idea, 'cause I thought it was too many cooks in the kitchen. And it was a difference of vision. And it kind of started off things on the wrong foot, then it kind of spillt over into the touring. And we just kind of had a different sort of vision. But I don't know… I think that it could be cool in the future." 2

PAPA ROACH Will 'Probably' Start Writing Next Album In FebruaryMetal Wani's editor in chief Owais "Vitek" Nabi recently conducted an interview with PAPA ROACH guitarist Jerry Horton in Hannover, Germany. You can now listen to the chat in the YouTube clip below.
Asked if PAPA ROACH will continue to incorporate electronics into its sound on the band's next album, Jerry said: "I don't know if we'll necessary keep as much of the electronics. I think we'll do it where it's appropriate. But the mindset behind it has been just kind of having overdubs not be guitars, so that it's kind of a distinct instrument."
He continued: "We have talked about possibly simplifying stuff for the next album — just making the sound as huge as possible… [I mean 'huge' in terms of] heaviness, maybe some, maybe just not having so many layers, so that the individual instruments… [Making the sound more] simplified."
Jerry also talked about the progress of the songwriting sessions for PAPA ROACH's follow-up to this year's "F.E.A.R." (Face Everything And Rise). He said: "[We have started writing] a little bit — just little riffs here and there." As for a possible beginning date for the recording process, Jerry said: "I don't know about actual recording, but we'll probably start writing in February."
"F.E.A.R." was recorded in Las Vegas, taking PAPA ROACH out of their Sacramento, California home base for the first time since 2006. PAPA ROACH worked with the father-and-son producing team of Kevin and Kane Churko on the effort. 1

I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN Detained In MalaysiaAccording to Sky News, Australian metalcore band I Killed The Prom Queen are in a Malaysian immigration lock-up after being detained for performing at the weekend without a permit.
Immigration Department Director General Mustafa Ibrahim said he hoped to quickly deport the five-member group, which was in the country as part of a Southeast Asian tour.
“Members of the band from Australia were arrested for performing without a valid permit,” Mustafa said on Monday. I want to release them as soon as possible and send them back home. I do not want the news of their arrest to go viral.”
Guitarist Jona Weinhofen tweeted on Sunday that the band had been detained late the night before by immigration officials, some of whom asked for their autographs.
“Weirdest part is some of the immigration officers asked us to autograph stuff one is wearing a prom queen shirt. Still locking us up tho,” he tweeted.

GODSMACK's SULLY ERNA Slams 'Motherf**kers In ISIS': 'I'm Tired Of This S**t'During GODSMACK's November 14 concert in Las Vegas, the band's frontman, Sully Erna, dedicated the song "Serenity" to the victims of Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris, France. While introducting the track, he said: "It doesn't matter if they're in another country, we're all human beings, and these motherfuckers in ISIS, I've gotta tell you… I hope at some point they can wipe out that shit and make it a fucking parking lot. I'm tired of this shit."
He continued: "So we're not gonna stop the show and ask you guys to kind of be quiet for a minute. We're just gonna do a song that I think kind of represents a moment like this. This is gonna be our version of a prayer. So, for whatever it's worth, you don't have to do a whole lot on here; maybe you can sing along with us. But whatever you do, just send out some really positive energy, because I am certain that a lot of people lost their children that night, a lot of people lost their parents that night. And so, it's our job as human beings to just kind of send out some good energy their way, you know what I mean?! That's what we do. We're all good people. So, Tony [Rombola, guitar], let's play a song and let's call this our prayer for the evening, okay?"
GODSMACK last month released a new song called "Inside Yourself" as a free download at the band's official web site. Erna said about the track: "This is a song about equality for all! Understanding that no one is worthless or any lesser than the next person. We are all equally important as human beings and should be treated that way. And for those of you who feel the need to cut others down to make yourself look superior, you seriously need to take a good look 'inside yourself.'"
GODSMACK has just completed its touring cycle for its latest album, 2014's "1000hp".
Asked about a timetable for its seventh studio album, Erna told Gibson.com, "The band is writing, and I think we'll probably start really getting together to arrange everything and start recording by early next year — maybe spring." 14

EUROPE To Celebrate 30th Anniversary Of 'The Final Countdown'Vocalist Joey Tempest of Swedish hard rockers EUROPE has revealed to Eamon O'Neill of GigsAndFestivals.com that the band is planning to celebrate the three-decade milestone of 1986's "The Final Countdown" in a suitably epic way.
"There'll be a few shows regarding the anniversary of the 'The Final Countdown' [in 2016]," the singer told the site.
"We're putting together a few shows at the end of the year as a celebration," he continued. "We don't want to overdo it, but it will be something [special]."
Released in 1986, "The Final Countdown" turned EUROPE into global superstars, selling over three million copies and producing five hit singles including "Rock The Night" and "Carrie". However, it was the album's title track that propelled the record into the stratosphere, turning the group into household names, and topping the charts in over twenty-five countries.
Back in 2012, Tempest admitted to Classic Rock that he and his badmates have thought about dropping all of their older material from their live set to concentrate solely on songs from the last five studio albums since their reunion in 2003.
"We have seriously talked about it," Tempest told Classic Rock, "and yes, it would include leaving out 'The Final Countdown'. But right now, we don't feel it's the right thing to do. Fans come along to shows expecting to hear certain old favorites, and they wouldn't be happy if we did this. But it is something we could certainly do in the future."
"The Final Countdown" was the first single released from EUROPE's third studio album in 1986. The band's most recognizable and popular song, it peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 18 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The single was certified gold in the United Kingdom in 1986.
EUROPE's latest album, "War Of Kings", was released in March via UDR Music.

STONE SOUR's Cover Version Of BAD BRAINS' 'Sailin' On' Available For StreamingSTONE SOUR's next covers EP, "Straight Outta Burbank", will be released this month as part of Record Store Day's annual Black Friday bonanza. The effort will include cover versions of songs by BAD BRAINS, THE ROLLING STONES, SLAYER, MÖTLEY CRÜE and IRON MAIDEN. Making a guest appearance on STONE SOUR's rendition of THE ROLLING STONES classic "Gimme Shelter" is HALESTORM singer Lzzy Hale.
STONE SOUR guitarist Josh Rand told Rolling Stone: "To stay true to the original recordings of these songs, we tried to recreate the sounds and tones that the original artist used. This was both fun and challenging, but the end result was worth all the hard work everyone put into achieving it."
Added STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor: "I love 'Straight Outta Burbank', because it's a little bit further out there than 'Meanwhile in Burbank…' This one hits a few different corners: [it's] got BAD BRAINS on one end and the STONES on the other … and the crazy thing is it all works. I think that's a reflection of us as a band. We do what we want, style-wise, and it works. I hope people enjoy the spirit, music and fun that went into this."
"Straight Outta Burbank" track listing:
01. Sailin' On (BAD BRAINS cover)02. Running Free (IRON MAIDEN cover)03. Gimme Shelter (THE ROLLING STONES cover) (feat. Lzzy Hale)04. Too Fast For Love (MÖTLEY CRÜE cover)05. Seasons In The Abyss (SLAYER cover)
The "Sailin' On" cover can be streamed below.
Now in its eighth year, Record Store Day is an annual day-long celebration of record store culture taking place on the third Saturday in April, with an annual Black Friday event occurring the day after Thanksgiving. This year, RSD has named Dave Grohl as Record Store Day Ambassador 2015.
Look for 5,000 copies of "Straight Outta Burbank" arriving on vinyl on November 27.
For more information, visit www.recordstoreday.com.
During a September 15 appearance on the Des Moines, Iowa radio station Lazer 103.3, STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor stated about "Straight Outta Burbank": "It's done, it's mixed. We've got the album artwork all together. And it's awesome. It's really, really, really good."
He continued: "We're actually more into this one than we are [STONE SOUR's first covers EP, 'Meanwhile In Burbank…']. And that's nothing against the first one; the first one's super solid. This one, man, is so diverse, but it all feels really, really good. We're really stoked about it. We're doing everything from THE STONES to SLAYER. Like, it is on. It is so on, it's not even funny."
In a recent interview, Taylor said that the band's third covers EP — titled "No Sleep 'Till Burbank" — will also feature five songs, and will include new versions of tracks from the following artists: VAN HALEN, VIOLENT FEMMES, BUZZCOCKS, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and AC/DC.
Released this past April as a Record Store Day exclusive , "Meanwhile In Burbank…" contained songs originally done by BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST, METALLICA, KISS and ALICE IN CHAINS.
Asked why STONE SOUR decided to release three separate EPs of covers, Taylor said: "This is something we've been talking about for years. And we decided, instead of putting it all on one, and trying to make that work, we were, like, 'Let's have fun with it.' It was kind of the same spirit of why we wanted to do 'em in the first place — is 'cause we wanted to have fun, just to kind of take the edge off, take the pressure off and just go in and have fun and kind of show the world what got us into making music in the first place. So we broke it up into three. That way, we could kind of play with the artwork, make it fun for the fans, and just have a good time with it. 'Cause we're making our nut on covers. But at the same time, when you do something like that, you wanna represent to the best of your ability. And by spacing it out and letting the fans get into five at a time, nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It just felt like by doing it that way, people would have time to digest each five before the next one comes on."
Regarding the "Burbank" tie-in in the titles of the three EPs, Taylor explained: "[Burbank, California is] where [STONE SOUR drummer] Roy [Mayorga] lives, and we did all the music in his home studio. So I was just, like, 'Dude, the title's gotta be, 'Meanwhile In Burbank…' And then it just became, like, 'How can we play on that?' 'No Sleep 'Till Burbank'… 'Straight Outta Burbank'… It was just hilarious. At one point, I wanted us to dress like a black metal band in his front yard and play volleyball. Because there's this giant palm tree in the front, and there's always sun and people walking their kids, or whatever, and we're dressed like MAYHEM. And we didn't have time, 'cause [STONE SOUR bassist Johny] Chow is out with CAVALERA [CONSPIRACY], and Roy's been doing some stuff. So we just didn't have that time where we were all in the same state. But I was, like, 'We've gotta remember that one, 'cause that could be rad.'"
On its last North American tour, STONE SOUR played a different cover every night, including songs that made the EP such as METALLICA's "Creeping Death", KISS's "Love Gun" and JUDAS PRIEST's "Heading Out To The Highway".
Taylor is currently on tour with his other band, SLIPKNOT.
Guitarist Christian Martucci joined STONE SOUR in late 2013 as the replacement for Jim Root, who was fired from the group after deciding he wanted to sit out the band's last tour in order to start work on the next album from SLIPKNOT, of which he is also a member. 1

In these interviews they talk about the background history and the creative process of the respective albums.

A trailer in support of the releases can be seen below:
The new fully authorized Scorpions documentary, Forever And A Day, is wrapping up its theatrical run and will come to DVD, Blu-ray, and digital platforms on November 27th (in German with English subtitles). The movie takes a look at the German hard-rock legends' long career, while focusing on the band's Final Sting trek, which initially was intended to be a farewell tour.
As the film shows, during the 2011-2012 tour, the band members were so energized by the response from fans that they decided to scrap their retirement plans. Founding Scorpions guitarist Rudolf Schenker says that if you watch Forever And A Day, you can see the veteran rockers come to the realization that they weren't ready to call it quits.
Schenker explains, "Seeing all these old fans, the new fans coming, everything was sold out, and getting told by the fans what the music means for them, then we more and more”, understood that the time wasn't right for the band to retire.
Among the interesting career highlights covered in the movie is the Scorpions' historic 1991 visit to the Kremlin in Moscow to meet Mikhail Gorbachev. The band presented the then-Soviet president with a gold record for its hit ballad "Wind Of Change”, which celebrated the end of the Cold War.
Describing "Wind Of Change" as "the soundtrack of the most peaceful revolution on Earth," Schenker says The Scorpions' visit with Gorbachev was "something very special" since they were the first, and possibly the only, Western band ever invited to the Kremlin. He adds that The Scorpions are still friendly with Gorbachev, who makes an appearance in Forever And A Day commenting about the group and the impact of "Wind Of Change”.
The Scorpions recently wrapped up the 2015 US leg of its 50th anniversary tour, which also is in support of their latest studio album, Return To Forever. With regard to the band's future, longtime Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs says, "It doesn't look like the end is near. You know, we keep ourselves open now. We tried the farewell tour, and we [called] it afterwards the 'went well' tour."
The Scorpions will finish the year with a series of European dates in November and December, with more to come in February and March of 2016, including a run of shows in their homeland. Jabs says the band also plans to play more US shows in May, and may visit South America and China as well. Check here for the group's confirmed itinerary.

QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT: Official Video Footage Of ROCK IN RIO PerformanceVideo footage of QUEEN and "American Idol" finalist Adam Lambert performing on September 18 at the Rock In Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil can be seen below.
On September 10, QUEEN members Brian May and Roger Taylor, along with Lambert — who has been singing for QUEEN on their tours, filling in for his idol Freddie Mercury — took part in a press conference ahead of their Rock In Rio performance.
Speaking about the similarities and differences between Mercury and Lambert, May said: "Well, there are differences, you know, but I think perhaps the greatest thing about Freddie is his connection with people, with an audience, and Adam has that. And I don't think that's something you can learn; I think it's something which you either perhaps have in you or not. You have to dedicate yourself, and Adam, like Freddie, is dedicated to his art. But without that — whatever that wonderful talent is — I don't think it would happen. When Adam walks onto a stage, it's not Freddie, and it's not him trying to be Freddie, but when Adam walks on and when Freddie walks on, something happens; there's some kind of catalytic action that happens between people, and it's a very rare and special thing. So I would say that's something that Adam and Freddie share, and I know that Freddie would agree with that. I mean, without even speaking about the voice. I mean, the voice… they both had, and have, incredible voices — the kind of voice that you don't find in a billion people. And, of course, the voice is very special, but it's not enough. You have to have the will and the spirit to use that wonderful instrument that you've been given to make that connection."
Lambert, May and Taylor first shared the stage during "American Idol" in May 2009 for a performance of "We Are The Champions". They teamed up again in 2011 at the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast, Ireland for an electrifying eight-minute finale of "The Show Must Go On", "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" and in the summer of 2012, Lambert performed a series of shows with QUEEN across Europe as well as dates in Russia, Ukraine and Poland. They also performed three sold-out gigs at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
After completing QUEEN's most recent European tour in January, May described Lambert as the only singer the band had found capable of filling Mercury's shoes. "Adam is the first person we've encountered who can do all the QUEEN catalogue without blinking," said May. "He is a gift from God."
Lambert, for his part, downplayed the Mercury comparisons, saying: "There's never going to be another, and I'm not replacing him. That's not what I'm doing. I'm trying to keep the memory alive, and remind people how amazing he was, without imitating him. I'm trying to share with the audience how much he inspired me."
Lambert released his third studio album, "The Original High", on June 16 through Warner Bros. 8
