WITHIN Y Parts Ways With Drummer

Swedish melodic death metal band WITHIN Y has parted ways with drummer Thim Blom (ex-GARDENIAN).

Commented Blom in a statement: "After several years of pain in my wrists, I've come to the point where I can't perform at the top of my abillity and to do what it takes to play at this level. I don't know what the future holds, but this is it for now.

"There is no hard feelings between me and the guys. I wish them all the best and good luck with WITHIN Y!

"Please come and see me perform with the band for the last two times in Gothenburg/Henriksberg or in Hässleholm this week!

"Take care and thanks for the support throughout the years!!"

WITHIN Y recently uploaded a performance video of the song "Beautiful Violence", recorded in September 2006 when the group opened for NEVERMORE in Gothenburg, Sweden. Watch it at YourTube.
