SARAH JEZEBEL DEVA Completes Recording Solo Album, Films New Video
British vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva — who has toured and/or recorded with CRADLE OF FILTH, THERION, MORTIIS and ANGTORIA — is scheduled to begin mixing her solo album, "A Sign of Sublime", sometime in October. The drums on the CD were laid down by Max Blunos, formerly of the U.K. death metal outfit TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED. Other guest musicians that appear on the album include Martin Powell (CRADLE OF FILTH, ANATHEMA, MY DYING BRIDE) and Dave Pybus (CRADLE OF FILTH).
A video for the CD's title track has just been filmed and will be featured on the limited-edition digipack version of "A Sign of Sublime". "The aim is to have a censored AND uncensored version," says Sarah. "There is nothing too bad [about the uncensored version], but, of course, it's all about the visual content that wouldn't be suitable for younger kids as it's about the power of suggestion."
