WOLF Launches Branded Absinthe

Swedish metal titans WOLF have launched their own Wolf label absinthe. The Scandinavian four-piece are longtime patrons of absinthe (indeed it is their favourite tipple on the road) and even wrote a song (see video below) dedicated to the infamous drink on their most recent album, "Legions Of Bastards", so it was only a matter of time before they got their claws into their own Wolf label absinthe.

This, alongside their ferocious Wolf's Blood hot sauce (666 on the Scoville scale, naturally), deserves a special place in your metal hearts!

The Wolf Absinthe is manufactured by Sankta Annas Bränneri AB, Sweden, and can be ordered from www.absinthes.com.

WOLF in 2011 parted ways with guitarist Johannes "Axeman" Losbäck and replaced him with Simon Johansson (ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA, BIBLEBLACK, MEMORY GARDEN). Simon previously played with WOLF in 2009 when they supported W.A.S.P. for four shows.

WOLF's sixth album, "Legions Of Bastards", was released in April 2011 via Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2009's "Ravenous" was produced by Pelle Saether at Studio Underground in Vasterås, Sweden. The cover artwork was once again created by Thomas Holm (the man who was responsible for the legendary MERCYFUL FATE "Melissa" and "Don't Break The Oath" covers).
