ORPHANED LAND, one of Israel’s most successful musical exports and “Global Metal Band of the Year 2014” Metal Hammer Award Winner, have issued, via their Official Facebook Page, their recap for 2014:
2014 was an amazing year for Orphaned Land.
Starting with our 2nd time playing on 70000tons of metal and ending it with already 120 shows promoting our latest album “All Is one” while exploring for the first time many new countries like Australia, China, Japan, Georgia, Cyprus and Finland (Orphaned Land already played in 44 countries already!)
Another great event this year was the honor to get the Global Metal award by Metal Hammer Magazine.
Many other things made 2014 so special – we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our album ‘Sahara’ as well as the 10th anniversary of the album Mabool with special shows and a tour.
It seems that 2015 will be full of more shows as well as it is time to start writing some new material!
