RICK WAKEMAN: To Participate In The Vivaldi Metal Project

The organisers of the Vivaldi Metal Project, Alberto Rigoni and Mistheria have announced that legendary keyboard player Rick Wakeman will be taking part in the project:

“Yesterday, Mistheria and Alberto Rigoni met the wizard of keyboards and Rock legend of all times Mr. Rick Wakeman Music (YES) and… we are proud to announce that he has confirmed his participation in the Vivaldi Metal Project! We feel really amazed and deeply honored! Also, Rick has left a video message to all our fans, check it out! Thanks so much Rick, you’re a superb musician and a wonderful person!”

Many famous musicians are involved in the project, such as Mark Boals (FireWind, Yngwie Malmsteen), Mike Lepond (Symphony X), Rob Rock (Impellitteri), Chris Adler (Lamb of God), Tommy Denander (Toto, Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper), Joe Stump (Reign of Terror, Raven Lord), John Macaluso (Ark, LaBrie, Yngwie Malmsteen), Andy Midgley (Power Quest), just to name a few.

Recording will happen this year and the release date of the album is expected for late 2015.

As far as the Vivaldi Metal Project is an independent project, the staff are looking for supporters who can help them in reaching the needed budget for production (recordings, mix, mastering, etc.) and started a fundraising campaign that will end in December 2015.
