GOTTHARD: New Songs 'BANG!' And 'C'Est La Vie' Previewed
 Short previews of the new songs "BANG!" and "C'Est La Vie" from veteran Swiss rockers GOTTHARD are available below. Both tracks are taken from the band's new album, "BANG!", which will be released on April 7 through PIAS. GOTTHARD has been at home touring the globe for over 20 years throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia on the back of 14 studio and live albums. They have collected multiple gold and platinum awards on the way, selling almost three million records and appearing at the biggest, most important festivals on the map of rock. The dynamic boogie groove of the "BANG!" title track is also new ground for the band, reflecting their unbridled energy and pure confidence. Also worthy of mention is a duet with the unknown (so far) American vocalist Melody Tibbits on a ballad entitled "Maybe". As is the blues excursion the band takes in "Spread Your Wings". The final "Thank You" is a veritable epic complete with orchestra and goosebumps, flowing against radio friendly convention to a length of more than ten minutes. Written as a tribute to the departed mother of guitarist Leo Leoni, it serves as a homage to mothers everywhere.
The first single from the new album is "Feel What I Feel", a perfect demonstration of the group's talent for combining melodic vocals with strong guitar hooks. These songs are set against a background of classic GOTTHARD rock tunes like "Get Up 'N' Move On", "Jump The Gun" and "My Belief", which traditionally grace every album by the Swiss combo. All told, "BANG!" presents a compelling mix that is sure to take its rightful place in the proud legend of GOTTHARD.
Recorded and produced by Charlie Bauerfeind and GOTTHARD's own Leo Leoni at Yellow House Studios in Lugano in the Swiss canton of Tessin, "BANG!" was then mixed at the Dutch Wisseloord Studios (Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner) by Ronald Prent, who has managed to keep the GOTTHARD sound but transport them into 2014. No wonder, after all Prent has worked in the studio with bands such as the SCORPIONS, 3 DOORS DOWN, DEF LEPPARD and WITHIN TEMPTATION.
Apart from a standard jewel case, the album will be available in digipack version, with two bonus tracks and also on vinyl.

GOTTHARD's last album, "Firebirth", entered the chart Switzerland at position No. 1 — the 14th time that a GOTTHARD CD has topped the Swiss chart in the group's career so far. In addition, the album landed at No. 9 on the German Media Control chart.
"Firebirth" was released in June 2012 via Nuclear Blast/Warner Music. The CD was produced at the band's own Yellow House Studios in Lugano, Switzerland, with guitarist/songwriter Leo Leoni and Paul Lani (who has previously worked with GOTTHARD on several of their earlier albums, including "G-Spot" and "Homerun") at the helm.
"Firebirth" marked GOTTHARD's first release with singer Nic Maeder, who was born in Lausanne, Switzerland, lived in Melbourne, Australia and grew up between Switzerland and "Down Under."
GOTTHARD's previous vocalist, Steve Lee, was killed on October 5, 2010 in what has been described as a freak road accident in Nevada.

LAMB OF GOD recently entered into a worldwide distribution deal with Specticast (LED ZEPPELIN's "Celebration Day", Paul McCartney's "Rock Show") for its Don Argott-directed ("Last Days Here", "Art Of The Steal", "School Of Rock") feature film "As The Palaces Burn". Filming for the movie began in 2012 and concluded in March of 2013. "As The Palaces Burn", which should not be confused with the making-of documentary packaged with the recent re-release of the 2003 LAMB OF GOD album of the same name, was conceived to be a documentary focused on the power of music and its impact on cultures around the world and its ability to bring together people of all nationalities regardless of religious or political differences. After a worldwide casting call, filming took place in Colombia, Venezuela, Israel, India, and the United States. As filming reached its conclusion, the documentary was forced to take a major turn when the band's lead singer, Randy Blythe, was arrested in the Czech Republic and charged with the murder of a fan in June 2012. Granted unique access to Blythe's saga, Argott's filming covered Blythe's 38-day imprisonment in Prague, his release and the band's return to live performances, and finally Blythe's trial for murder in Prague in February 2013. | 0 | |

Bands like IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, SLAYER and also we in ANNIHILATOR have great records and we have our share of not-so-good records. Different times, different places, you know. Maybe we were lucky with 'Feast' and maybe we were inspired. A lot of it comes from that my partner in ANNIHILATOR, singer/guitarist Dave Padden, said that we should take a break for three years from writing music and focus on other things. We did a lot of touring, I worked in my studio, give guitar clinics for Gibson and Epiphone and we played the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, all these cool things. The break breathed a lot of new life in the ANNIHILATOR music and that's probably where a lot of the inspiration came from."

Touring for over a span of seven years since age sixteen, first with late WARRANT singer Jani Lane and in more recent years with LIZZY BORDEN, Dario Lorina released his first solo recording, entitled simply "Dario Lorina", on September 10, 2013 via Shrapnel Records.
Growing up listening to guitarists such as Randy Rhoads, Paul Gilbert, George Lynch and Eddie Van Halen, Dario's music harkens back to the glory days of high-caliber shred guitar, the genre of which Shrapnel Records was a founding force.
Dario Lorina's debut solo CD reveals a guitarist brimming with extreme musical ability. This guitarist brings more diverse influences into play than the average neo-classical riff monger. While technically proficient like all of the label's guitar instrumentalists, Dario's CD isn't just about shredding. It's an American guitar instrumental album having more in common with riffs reminiscent of Paul Gilbert, George Lynch and Eddie Van Halen than the European influence of guitarists such as Yngwie Malmsteen.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY: Fan-Filmed Footage Of Entire HAMMERFEST Performance
 Fan-filmed video footage of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's entire performance at this year's Hammerfest, which was held March 13-16 at Hafan y Mor Holiday Park, Caernarfonshire and Merionethshire, Wales, can be seen below.
CORROSION OF CONFORMITY recently spent time in the studio recording the follow-up to the well-received self-titled record issued via Candlelight Records in late February 2012, the reissue of their "Eye For An Eye" debut, and the released Scion A/V EP "Megalodon". The forthcoming CD, untitled at this time, will again feature the trio of vocalist/bassist Mike Dean, guitarist Woodroe Weatherman, and drummer Reed Mullin.
The initial work on the new album found the band not long out of the recording studio, having recently completed their "Megalodon" EP. The special EP was included free to all customers to the band's official webstore. Dean said: "The EP was written, recorded, and released in two months' time. It really challenged us in a good way."
Formed in Raleigh in 1982, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY quickly transformed heavy music. Politically charged and socially aware, the band has influenced countless others and today remains humble about their accomplishments. TNT Featuring TONY HARNELL: Pro-Shot Footage Of NRK Performance
 On February 25, Norwegian/American hard rockers TNT performed at the studios of Norway's public television network NRK as a part of a series showcasing Norwegian musicians. Check out footage of the performance at NRK.no.
TNT played its first official reunion show with singer Tony Harnell on January 17 at Gregers Live in Hamar, Norway.
Harnell confirmed his reunion with TNT in October 2013, explaining in a statement: "After much discussion and lots of soul searching, I'm happy to officially announce that I'll be back behind the microphone with TNT.
"I'm very proud of all we accomplished over the years and proud to have written and recorded all those great songs with my brother from another mother, Ronni Le Tekrø.
"Sometimes it's just time to give the fans what they're asking for.
"2014 is the 25th anniversary of the successful 'Intuition' album and we thought it would be a good time to get out and relaunch this little machine for you guys!
"Can't wait to see you all on tour!"
In August 2013, TNT parted ways with its frontman of the past seven years, British vocalist Tony Mills (ex-SHY). He explained in a statement: "Maybe we did 500 shows or something like that, but not many out of Norway.
"It has been the most prolific live period in my career, and when I felt the stagnancy and the lack of desire to grow and develop any further, I knew my time was done with the band.
"I don't think it's sensible to expect new art from the band after thirty years, just a lot of re-living the past and reconstructions of old albums and performances.
"None of us are getting any younger, but I have a great desire to not stop creativity in my life. I hate wasting days and singing songs from the past to satisfy old fans.
"Nostalgia wasn't doing it for me.
"We were never close as friends or anything like that, so there is no great loss, and I have no doubt they will reform the original lineup and just do the whole thing all over again. I wish them good luck on that. I have other releases to come that excite me much more than that."
Harnell rejoined TNT on stage for their 30th-anniversary concert on June 2, 2012 at the Clarion Hotel in Trondheim, Norway. The group performed a special setlist while accompanied by the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra (Trondheim Symfoniorkester). Also making a special appearance with the band was TNT's original singer, Dag Ingebrigtsen.
After leaving TNT in 2006, Harnell was replaced by Mills, who has since appeared on three studio albums from the band: 2007's "The New Territory", 2008's"Atlantis" and 2010's "A Farewell To Arms".
Harnell's final release as a member of TNT was the "Live in Madrid" DVD, which came out in September 2006 via MTM Music. The set, which was filmed on April 1, 2006 in Madrid, Spain, was accompanied by an 82-minute audio CD plus booklet liner notes from Harnell about his work with the group as well as an additional tour documentary by Darren Paltrowitz.

PAUL STANLEY's War With ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME Rages On
 According to The Pulse Of Radio, the battle rages on between Paul Stanley and the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame who have finally decided to induct KISS' founding members and classic lineup, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss in its 2014 class. Stanley posited an open message on KissOnline.com to counter Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Foundation CEO Joel Peresman's explanation to Billboard, as to why the Rock Hall is inducting KISS' classic ‘70s lineup — and only that lineup.
Peresman explained that the decision making process is decided by the Rock Hall's nominating committee "as well as an adjunct group of scholars and historians… This isn't chemistry or physics; it's not an exact science. Sometimes there's an entire body of work up until (the artists) are inducted, other times it's a specific period of time that established the band as who they are. With KISS, there wasn't one person here who didn't agree that the reason KISS was nominated and is being inducted was because of what was established in the '70s with Ace, with Peter, with Paul and Gene. That's what put them on that map."
Peresman touched upon why current members, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, are not eligible for induction: "(KISS) is a unique situation where you have artists who wear makeup as part of what the band's about. (Singer and Thayer) are fine musicians who… basically have the same makeup and are the same characters that Ace and Peter started. It's not like they created these other characters with different makeup and playing different songs. They took the persona of characters that were created by Ace and Peter."
Paul Stanley's response to Peresman's statement as posted on KissOnline.com:
"The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame continues to attempt to restore its questionable credibility and glimpses behind the facade with nonsense and half truths.
"The truth is Joel Peresman and the rest of the decision makers refused to consider the induction of ANY former KISS members and specifically the late Eric Carr and Bruce Kulick who were both in the band through multi-platinum albums and worldwide tours and DIDN'T wear makeup.
"There is no getting around the reality that the Hall Of Fame's favoritism and preferential treatment towards artists they like goes as far as ASKING the GRATEFUL DEAD how many members THEY wanted the hall to induct and following their directive while also including a songwriter who was never in the actual band.
"Let's just accept the truth as it is and move on."
Paul Stanley told The Pulse Of Radio that for the April 10 induction ceremonies in Brooklyn, the Rock Hall was unbending in its decision to ignore the other members of KISS that joined following Peter Criss and Ace Frehley's respective departures.
"Bringing up the idea of inducting other members other than the original four, which is a very valid argument considering that there are people that played on multi-platinum albums and played for millions of people and were very important to the continuation of this band," he said. "The fact that when this was brought up, it was shut down as a non-starter. I don't appreciate that as somebody who is a self-appointed expert."

MODERN DAY ESCAPE Breaks Up, Forgets To Tell Drummer
 Los Angeles’ MODERN DAY ESCAPE announced through their Facebook page that they were breaking up; however the band did not inform drummer Sandra Alvarenga as she found out about it through the social media site.
The band’s breakup post reads:
“Dear beloved fans and friends alike,
Since 2006 MDE has written four killer rock albums, met some great people, played some amazing venues, traveled different countries, shared the stage with some amazing bands and had some of the most diehard fans a band could ask for, we cannot be thankful enough for all the memories and good times.
But all good things must come to a PAUSE.
We regret to inform our fans we will be taking an official hiatus from the music industry as the group Modern Day Escape until further notice.
Sometimes "Life can be a bitch."

COLLAPSE Announce New Vocalist; Free Track Download Available
 London, England-based death metal mob COLLAPSE have confirmed former INCOMA frontman Harry Watson as their new vocalist, following the departure of singer Duncan Wilkinson in 2013.
"I'm stoked to have been offered the opportunity to front Collapse. Craig Daws (SACRED MOTHER TONGUE) encouraged me to go for the auditions and knowing the high standard other singers would be bringing to the table, I wasn't sure I'd get the job. Finland’s LOATH Announce Debut Album Total Peace
 LOATH is a relatively fresh band from Finland. The band was founded early 2013 and they entered to record their debut album Total Peace at Drunkhouse Studios in the fall. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by K. Lehtinen. Loath's music can be described like crust with a twist of grindcore and doom.
The group consists of drummer L, bassist M, vocalist/guitarist E and vocalist/guitarist V.
Total Peace will be released March 21st worldwide by the Finnish record label Inverse Records.

TOTO To Release 35th Anniversary Tour - Live In Poland 2CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, And Deluxe Edition; 'Hold The Line' Video Streaming
 Long-running US rock legends TOTO and Eagle Rock Entertainment have announced an April 29th release date for the band's 35th Anniversary Tour - Live In Poland. The title will be available in configurations that include 2CD, DVD, Blu-ray, and a deluxe edition featuring all formats with a 60-page book.
Filmed on June 25, 2013 in Lodz, Poland, the offering captures the band in the midst of a standing-room-only European tour. The two-hour plus performance features Toto's hit stocked repertoire alongside other favorites.
The 35th Anniversary Tour - Live In Poland release captures Toto's European tour that hit 29 cities staging successful concerts Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Toto World Tour 2013 featured Luke, David Paich, Steve Porcaro on keyboards, and singer Joseph Williams, who sang the hits 'Pamela' and 'Stop Loving You' on the worldwide platinum release The Seventh One (1988). Williams is also featured on the platinum certified Fahrenheit (1986), Toto XX (1998), the track 'Bottom of Your Soul' on Falling In Between (2006), and the multi-platinum release Past to Present 1977-1990 issued in 1990.

Toto has revealed plans for 2014 that deliver what fans have been waiting years for. The band will record a new studio album planned for release in 2015, their first since Falling In Between (2006). Keyboardist and founding member David Paich recently shared, "The repertoire is coming together so naturally it is as though we never took a break from creating as Toto in the studio. For the fans who have been waiting patiently and continually showing the band support and love over the last decade or so, this one's for you. This April, they return to Japan for a seven show headlining sold-out arena tour that takes them through Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai and Sopporo. In August and September, Toto will hit the road as co-headliners with MICHAEL MCDONALD, for their most comprehensive North American tour in years.

FOSCOR Release Entire Back Catalogue Digitally; Free Download Available For The First Month
 Dark metallers FOSCOR have today released their entire back catalogue, which includes the band's first three full-length albums - 2004's Entrance To The Shadows' Village, 2007's The Smile Of The Sad Ones and 2009's Groans To The Guilty. Each album includes lyrics and information. All three albums are released digitally, and will be available for free download for the first month. They can be found at this location.

With over a decade in the music scene, Foscor recently announced that the band's natural musical progression and development has led to a change in style away from the traditional 90s black metal mixed with other classical and modern extreme styles, for which they became know. Breaking free from the restrictions the genre places on bands has enabled Foscor to expand their sound to include shades of doom and dark rock, majestic interludes and a healthy flirtation with prog.
Frontman Fiar is quick to point out though that fans will still recognise the distinctive Foscor style, which the band have not rejected, but have made better, and which will be very much in evidence in the band's newly completed fourth full-length album Those Horrors Wither.
Currently in search of a label for Those Horrors Wither, Foscor has chosen a somewhat unusual direction with the guest appearances on the album. Instead of the expected vocals or instrumental solos, the notable guests have written and performed connecting passages between the tracks.

Dutch Thrashers NECKBREAK NATION Prepare To Release Debut Full-Length; New Song Streaming
 With the release of their 2011 EP Warchitects, and appearances all over Benelux, young Dutch thrashers NECKBREAK NATION quickly rose to prominence in their region. This caught the attention of Dutch-based booking agency TMR Music Promotions, who soon signed the band.
Now, Neckbreak Nation is back with a vengeance in a new lineup consisting of drummer Ivo (also of IZEGRIM), guitarists Jelle and Pascal, bassist Angus and vocalist Sander - a solid pack of friends who have known each other for a long time.
The making of the debut album, Stroke Of The Devil's Hour, has been quite the ride. “We truly went places, tried different people and got the most out of it even though the budget was limited”, drummer Ivo states.
Pre-recordings started in their own studio, while the recording sessions took place in the Dutch Delta Beats Studio. Mix was done by Pascal Altena who also produced the EP and is well known in the Dutch scene, while the band took a totally different approach with the master, and went to Ivo Statinski - a former DJ and hip hop producer.
Ivo explains: “He has top of the line (analog) mastering equipment and he has an amazing ear for details. Even though the choice was unconventional, his master stood out next to a few others. It was clear for us to work with someone outside the box since he heard certain aspects in our music others wouldn’t, mainly because of his musical background.”
Neckbreak Nation has with Stroke Of The Devil’s Hour created an album that hits as a blunt force. The band has concocted a lethal brew of groove-ridden, melody-based and highly technical modern thrash that leaves the listener in want for more.

Norway's ZENO MORF Reveal Kingdom Of Ice Album Details
 Norway's ZENO MORF will release their new album, Kingdom Of Ice, on March 28th via Pure Steel Publishing.
Once again, the four guys founded in 1987 have twelve flawless, authentic heavy metal songs and no convinced headbanger will be disappointed. Backing choirs (the opener 'Hammer Squad'), straight drumming with tons of double bass, clean played twin guitar leads and a basic production are one of the great strengths of this band. Catchy, pounding riffs in the best ACCEPT-style with IRON MAIDEN-influenced solo parts and with rough shouts hit on melodic vocals are attributes of Zeno Morph.

Italy’s HADDAH Signs With Beyond Productions; Debut Album Out At The End Of The Month
 Beyond Productions has announced the signing of HADDAH. The Italian melodic death metal act will release their first full-length album, Through The Gates Of Evangelia, at the end of March.
The album has been produced, mixed and mastered by Marco Gandolfi (BOBBY KIMBALL, CARMINE APPICE, KEN HENSLEY, BERNIE MARSDEN) at the Mofo Studio in Piacenza.

Former MEGADETH / KING DIAMOND Guitarist Glen Drover's METALUSION - 'Caracas' Track Available Digitally
 'Caracas', the new track from METALUSION, the new act featuring former MEGADETH/KING DIAMOND guitarist Glen Drover, is now available digitally via iTunes at this location.
Drover previously stated: "First of all, my band, which has until now been known as the GLEN DROVER BAND, has been talking about the idea of changing the bands name for a while now. The reason for this is that everyone (and beyond) thats involved with this project have submitted material for the recordings along the way, and we all feel its more appropriate to have a more unified name, rather than just myself. I have always looked at this as a band. Not Glen and the side dudes. It was initially a record company push to have my name on the front. Well, I don't work with that company anymore, and its time for a change. We decided to call the band/project Metalusion which is the name of our first album.
The idea to call the band Metalusion has been talked about for a little while, and the more we have thought and talked about it, the more we like it. I originally got the idea from Derek Sherinian of PLANET X. for this who don't know, His first solo album was under his name, and the name of the album was called Planet X. Guess he realized that was also a good name for a band, which is exactly what he ended up doing. Same here, we realized that not only was it a cool name for the first album, but a good band name as well for the future!
The album will be called Between Sea and Sky. This instrumental tune, entitled 'Caracas' was written by Jim Gilmour and myself, and we are all very proud of it! The album is more than half way complete, and we should have a release in summer 2014."

GRAVE DIGGER: 'Return Of The Reaper' Cover Artwork Unveiled
 German power metallers GRAVE DIGGER will release their 1th studio album, "Return Of The Reaper", via Napalm Records on the following dates:

The "Return Of The Reaper" cover artwork (see below) was created by Gyula Havancsák of Hjules Illustration And Design, who has been responsible for all GRAVE DIGGER artwork since 2004's "The Last Supper".
The CD was recorded at Principal Studios (KREATOR, IN EXTREMO, GRAVE DIGGER) in Senden, Germany.
GRAVE DIGGER vocalist Chris Boltendahl recently revealed that "Return Of The Reaper" will be stylistically reminiscent of GRAVE DIGGER's classic albums "Heavy Metal Breakdown" (1984), "Witch Hunter" (1985) and "The Reaper" (1993).
GRAVE DIGGER's last album, "Clash Of The Gods", was released on August 31 , 2012 in Europe and September 4, 2012 in North America via Napalm Records. A six-song mini-CD, "Home At Last", preceded the full-length effort on July 27, 2012 in Europe and August 7, 2012 in North America.
"The Clans Are Still Marching", the latest DVD from GRAVE DIGGER, entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 56 (German chart rules allow music DVDs to enter album charts).

CIRCLE II CIRCLE: 'Diamond Blade' Video Released
 "Diamond Blade", the new video from CIRCLE II CIRCLE, can be seen below. The clip is largely comprised of in-concert footage shot by CIRCLE II CIRCLE fans at shows during the band's 2013 tour of Europe, Brazil, and the USA.

Formed in 2001, CIRCLE II CIRCLE has always reinvented itself throughout the years, constantly maintaining the signature sound that fans around the world love. The turning point for the band came in 2012 with CIRCLE II CIRCLE's monumental performance of the entire SAVATAGE album "The Wake Of Magellan" at the world's largest heavy metal festival, Wacken Open Air in Germany. What followed was a sold-out European club tour. "Seasons Will Fall" is CIRCLE II CIRCLE's strongest album to date from both a musical and production standpoint. KROKUS: 'Hoodoo Woman' Track From 'Long Stick Goes Boom: Live From Da House Of Rust' Streaming
 In the last four decades, Swiss hard rock legends KROKUS have played over 2,000 shows across 5 continents. Every gig, every place and every crowd was different but all showed tremendous enthusiasm towards the band. KROKUS recorded 20 shows for release consideration, eventually deciding on their last sold-out show, recorded in their hometown at the House Of Rust on August 30, 2013. "Long Stick Goes Boom Live: From Da House Of Rust" will be released in North America on April 22 via The End Records.
An ecstatic audience and a killer location, for KROKUS it was a truly memorable moment - it was the night where Krok 'n' Roll came back to town — to Rockcity Solothurn where it all started in 1975.

HELLYEAH: New Single 'Cross To Bier (Cradle Of Bones)' To Be Made Available For Free Download
 HELLYEAH's new single "Cross To Bier (Cradle Of Bones)" will be given away to fans who sign up via the band's web site at www.hellyeahband.com. This free download will only be available for 48 hours, starting at 9:00 a.m. PST / noon EST on Friday, March 21. The track will be available via iTunes on March 25 — along with the band’s rock radio single "Sangre Por Sangre (Blood For Blood)".
"Cross To Bier (Cradle Of Bones)" and "Sangre Por Sangre (Blood For Blood)" are taken from HELLYEAH's fourth album, "Blood For Blood", which will be released on June 10 via Eleven Seven Music. The CD was helmed by producer Kevin Churko at his The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Churko is the Canadian musician, sound engineer, songwriter and record producer who has previously worked with OZZY OSBOURNE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and IN THIS MOMENT, among other acts.
A press release describes "Blood For Blood" as a "welcome return to form" for the band, adding that it "sounds like a recharged HELLYEAH, taken up many notches."

Black December HELLYEAH recently filmed a video for the song "Sangre Por Sangre (Blood For Blood)" with director Robert Sexton (SOULFLY, DEATH ANGEL, THE DWARVES, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, AMEN, MONDO GENERATOR, GENÖCIDE) in Hollywood, California.
HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott spoke with RockNLive.org about the band's recent dismissal of bassist Bob "Zilla" Kakaha and guitarist Greg Tribbett, the recruitment of bassist Kyle Sanders (former member of BLOODSIMPLE and the brother of MASTODON's Troy Sanders) and the recording of "Blood For Blood". On the lineup change, Abbott said, "We wanted to make sure that we brought somebody in that was a 'bro,' somebody that we felt comfortable with. We didn't wanna go through an audition process and bring a whole bunch of different people in that we had no idea, anything about their character or dynamic or what they were all about. And Kyle… was the first guy that came to our mind." Abbott also revealed that the band will bring in a touring guitarist, hinting, "We haven't announced who that is yet, but I can tell you he's a hell of a guitar player."
Abbott said that HELLYEAH is "gonna be stronger than ever" as a result of the changes, adding, "There's nothing like having some fresh blood out on the road with you."
HELLYEAH will hit the road this spring, starting with several festival slots in April and May.
HELLYEAH was formed in 2006 by NOTHINGFACE guitarist Tom Maxwell and bassist Jerry Montano, MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett, and former PANTERA and DAMAGEPLAN drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott.
Montano left a week after the release of the band's self-titled debut album in 2007 and was replaced by Bob "Zilla" Kakaha, who had played with Abbott in DAMAGEPLAN.
HELLYEAH's other albums include 2009's "Stampede" and 2011's "Band Of Brothers".
MUDVAYNE has not released an album since 2009 while Gray and Tribbett have been working with HELLYEAH.

METSATÖLL - Karjajuht Album Due In May; 'Külmking' Video Streaming
 Estonian folk-metal band METSATÖLL have confirmed a May 27th North American release date for their new album, Karjajuht, via Spinefarm Records. A video for the song 'Külmking' can be seen below.
Metsatöll and Samuel Ruotsalainen produced the album. The tracks were recorded and mixed by Keijo Koppel and Marko Atso at the RoundSound Studios in Tallinn in September and October 2013.

More than just a quintessentially black metal album title, Feeding The Crawling Shadows is a veritable raison d'etre for these modern black metal legends: With faith and devotion, through ritual and necromancy, Sargeist feed the blackest, most Satanic essence at the core of black metal and, in turn, wield its clandestine powers with sorcerous might.
But while predecessor Let the Devil In was indeed hailed far and wide as a masterpiece, the coven of Sargeist is always lurking where no light dwells, brewing potent spells more diabolical than the last, and this solemn commitment is played out across the ten tracks that comprise Feeding The Crawling Shadows.
