SEBASTIAN BACH - Released From Custody, Pays Fine, Issues Statement
 The latest update in former SKID ROW vocalist SEBASTIAN BACH's run-in with the law comes courtesy of Kevin Connor from The Toronto Sun:
Sebastian Bach was in a Toronto court room Tuesday for trashing Filmores strip club back in 2004 after staff refused to give him the naked pictures on display of his wife taken when she was a dancer in 1988.
"I met my wife in 1984 and we have been together ever since," Bach said outside court after the charges against him were dropped and he agreed to pay a $250 fine. "When she was a teenager she did some topless pictures for the club. In 2004 I was walking by the club and went in and they had her picture up like she was a dancer there that night."
He was arrested in a Peterborough bar Monday and charged with mischief, assault and possession of marijuana.
The bar has already sold the surveillance video inside and outside the bar to TMZ, which has posted it on its website.
Bach was in Peterborough — where he was raised — dealing with the estate of his father who recently passed away.
"It is no fun doing that. Packing up your father's life and putting it in a truck. It is so final," Bach said. "I tried to drown my sorrows and things just got out of hand."
Howard Adams, president of Filmores says he was shocked to learn that Bach was in the country.
"I didn't think he was allowed in," Adams said. "He owes me a lot of money."
When Bach couldn't get at the picture of his wife which was behind Plexiglas, he threw an ashtray through a $12,000 etched glass picture with the Filmores logo behind the bar.
"Most guys who marry one of the girls are just happy to get her out of a strip club and don't mind the pictures. The more he drank the more he wanted that picture," said Adams, who still has the picture. "You may see that poster on eBay."
Adams still has the video of Bach smashing the etched glass picture and says he is going to phone TMZ to see if they want to buy it.

I DECLARE WAR Announces New Vocalist
 Seattle, Washington-based deathcore act I DECLARE WAR has announced the addition of vocalist Jamie Hanks to the group's ranks. Hanks had been filling in on lead vocals for the band since July. The musicians quickly realized how perfectly Jamie fit with I DECLARE WAR and extended him the invitation to become the official vocalist this fall.
Prior to joining I DECLARE WAR, Jamie Hanks spent five years as the vocalist of death metal band THOSE WHO LIE BENEATH. During those years, the two bands crossed paths, playing shows together and quickly becoming friends.
"It's great being with the I DECLARE WAR guys," Hanks said. "I get to really belt out with this new project."
"We are very fortunate and extremely lucky to have Jamie join the band. He's an absolute perfect fit for us, both on and off stage. The past couple of tours with him have been nothing but fun," agrees guitarist Evan Hughes. "He's got an unbelievable voice, great stage presence, and he really cares about what he does. SLASH Says His Wife Suggested FERGIE Tie Him Up In New Video
 Slash has explained how his wife suggested BLACK EYED PEAS singer Fergie tie him up and straddle him in the video for his new single "Beautiful Dangerous".
In a video interview with NME.com, which you can watch at this location, the guitarist hailed Fergie as "the best female rock singer I've heard in the last 15 years."
Speaking of the video for the song, Slash said: "My wife had told her, 'You should tie him up and do all this stuff'. So she took my wife's word, and the next thing you know I'm tied to the bed."
He added: "It was an interesting time, but it was a lot of fun. She's really great to hang out with... I could think of worse things I could be doing that being tied down and straddled by Fergie."
According to The Pulse of Radio, Slash stated in a recent interview that the "Beautiful Dangerous" video is apparently too steamy for wide public release and will have to be edited. Slash was quoted as saying, "It's very controversial. I thought it was okay but apparently there's a lot of suggestiveness and we're having a rethink." The clip stars Fergie as a crazed fan who stalks Slash and ends up tying him to a bed, kissing him and teasing him with a knife, all while dressed in leather lingerie. Slash said that the sexy BLACK EYED PEAS singer came up with the concept for the video herself.
Fergie sings the track on Slash's debut solo album, which also features guest vocals from artists like Kid Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Cornell and others.
The ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist will hit the road as opening act for OZZY OSBOURNE early next year, beginning on January 16 in Omaha.
Slash is also regrouping with VELVET REVOLVER this fall as that band resumes its search for a lead vocalist. The band's first concert DVD, "Live In Houston", comes out November 16.

DIABOLIC Parts Ways With Bassist/Vocalist, Seeks Replacement
 Tampa, Florida's DIABOLIC has parted ways with bassist/vocalist Paul Ouellette due to what the rest of the group alleges was "his drunken and unprofessional behavior" when he "walk[ed] offstage mid-song during the band's performance [on] Friday, November 12 at the 'Goregrowler's Ball IV' in San Antonio, Texas. . . For DIABOLIC's frontman to behave in this way is inexcusable and after several warnings, we have no choice; Paul has been removed permanently from the lineup, and is no longer a member of DIABOLIC. DIABOLIC continued to play our next several songs and finished our set without vocals, and we would like to thank all of our friends and fans who stayed to show your support during and after our set! Many of you have said how much you enjoyed our set even without vocals, and that you respect us for finishing our set in spite of what happened. For that we say THANK YOU!! CIRCLE II CIRCLE Band Inspires ROCKSTAR SUPERSTAR PROJECT
 A blog written by Super Star explains why the Circle II Circle has inspired him and his brother to continue forth with the ROCKSTAR SUPERSTAR PROJECT.
"In my blogs, I often convey how hope and courage are necessary tools to combating substance abuse for both teens and adults. Because of my own personal struggles, this subject matter comes easy for me. It’s fun and just the thought of knowing that I still hold out hope for so many things makes it that much easier for me to stay enthusiastic about them. Hope burns deep within me and is what inspires me to continue.
I went to see a heavy metal concert featuring a band called Circle II Circle recently. It wasn’t just me going to see a metal band though, it was much more than that. It was a chance for me to see an idol of mine in action. In my eyes, a legend. His name is Zak Stevens. If the name sounds familiar is because it should. He used to sing for a heavy metal band called SAVATAGE, now known as the hugely successful TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA.
Zak is a classically trained vocalist. My twin brother and I Rock Star have followed him during the length of his career. He has never been one to put on a less than stellar performance. This is true for both his studio recordings and his live performances. When my brother and I set out to recruit vocalists for our Rockstar Superstar Project Serenity CD, Zak was on top of the list of the people we wanted at approach. | 0 | |

WITCHBREED Parts Ways With Singer, Seeks Replacement
 WITCHBREED, the Portuguese metal band formed by bassist Ares (ex-MOONSPELL, DEEPSKIN) and guitarist Dikk (ex-DEEPSKIN), has parted ways with singer Ruby Roque (who is also a member of Sweden's THE PROJECT HATE).
Commented Roque: "As some of you might know, I left WITCHBREED due to my health that doesn't allow me to jump or bang my head until the other half of 2011. It wasn't fair for me to delay WITCHBREED's work so, they are now looking for a new singer. I am not leaving THE PROJECT HATE. I am with them as they are with me. As you know, THE PROJECT HATE don't tour, so it doesn’t affect my life with them and even if they did tour, after May, I will be ready to rock the stages again! So be prepared because Ruby and THE PROJECT HATE are forever! So in the first half of 2011 the album of THE PROJECT HATE will be out and you can still hear me make some serious damage!!"
The remaining members of WITCHBREED have released the following statement regarding Ruby's departure from the band:
"We are sorry to announce that due a very risky pregnancy Ruby was medical advised to stop all music activities that include physical effort of any kind; obviously that health comes first and we made the decision to put a break on WITCHBREED. Ruby let us knew about her serious health issues sometime ago when she was diagnosed with tumor/cancer which by the time was not prohibitive of any music activity. So we all carried on hoping everything would work fine for her. Unfortunately, now with her early pregnancy being at risk, she informed us that she really needed a healing break from music. For the rest of us (Ares, Dikk, Filipe and Hollow) the four guys behind the music of WITCHBREED, this is not a easy decision but it's probably the best and most human (!) decision we could make at this point, we wish Ruby all the best for her health and upcoming child. Having said that, we were eager to play all the live dates we had booked for the upcoming year as well as the most immediate gigs, including the show next Friday at the Hard Club in Oporto. We had high expectations for this show, being the first time we would play in Oporto for an apparent growing crowd and everything was ready for a very special night. The recordings for our sophomore would be next, the second WITCHBREED album is half way finished and will have to be put on hold a well.
"As for the future, this is not meant to be a 'Ba(n)d Ending' statement of any kind. The four of us (Ares, Dikk, Filipe and Hollow) are already working on new material and are now looking for a vocalist (male or female) to complete this new cycle. So anyone interested in fronting an heavy, dark and mystic unit please get in touch!! We are ready to go in studio and blast on recordings and live shows, we are interested in hearing from devoted artists with an ambitious spirit who feel have something to say through lyrics and stage presence."

POISONBLACK Part Ways With Guitarist
 After four years and two albums, Finland's POISONBLACK - featuring former SENTENCED frontman Ville Laihiala - have announce that guitarist Janne Markus is no longer in the band.
According to a band statement, "his goals and ambitions couldn't have come true in Poisonblack and we totally understand and respect that. His creativity needs a different setting than Poisonblack can and ever will provide. This is the one and only time we`re going to explain the reasons behind his departure, so do not bother asking. We thank him for the music, the unforgettable moments we all shared together on - and offstage and wish him the best for the future."

BLEEDING THROUGH To Release New Album Next Year
 EspyRock recently conducted an interview with bassist Ryan Wombacher of the Californian metalcore group BLEEDING THROUGH. A couple of excerpts from the chat follow below.
EspyRock: You also mentioned people being more in your pockets now, is this something that you face or since you moved to Rise Records and with Roadrunner [in the U.K.], is it a lot easier now to avoid this situation?
Ryan: Yeah, it is a lot easier with them. I think the whole hands-in-your-pockets thing is now when bands get signed, the younger bands, as they have no choice but to sign a 360 deal where labels have their hands in their pockets even deeper because they take ten or fifteen percent of everything, including what you make on tour. BLEEDING THROUGH will never, and has never, signed a 360 deal and we won't, you can't pull that shit with a band who has been around as long as us. This band has been touring for twelve years, the members in the band, some of them, have been touring for fifteen years so we will never sign to a 360 deal. I think that is the way that it has changed for record labels. They don't make money off the records anymore, or not as much as they used to, so now they have to find ways to make money somewhere else. These bands who are new and want to get signed, if that's the only option for them and they don't know if it's good or bad just kind of get suckered into it. Well they don't get suckered into because it's the only choice they have, it's unfortunate.
EspyRock: For younger bands who do want to get into the industry but maybe skip the downfalls of such a deal, and I suppose for bands even like BLEEDING THROUGH here, do you think the Internet is sort of helping to make it easier and also cheaper for things such as promotion, advertising and also the sales of music?
Ryan: I think that's my favorite question people ask, because it's such a double-edged... it's the sharpest double-edged sword that is out there for music right now. The Internet has done amazing amazing things for advertising, networking and getting your name out there. I mean, all you have to do is sit at your desk, you can be in your pajamas eating a banana and you can post something on the internet and someone around the world in Africa will see it in seconds as opposed to the Nineties. In the Nineties when hardcore was getting started, fanzines, the only way you knew a tour was coming through is if it came in a fanzine. You could show up at that show and you didn't know that the tour got cancelled a month ago but it said in the fanzine that it was booked and if the club didn't send out a notice saying something was cancelled, you wouldn't know. I think on the opposite side of the Internet, I think it has also killed music as opposed to helping it grow because of how simple it is. A lot of people take things for granted and people have things at their fingertips at all times. I think because they take it for granted, that's kind of killed the whole magical side of it, so it's definitely a double-edged sword.
EspyRock: What [are your] future plans in 2011?
Ryan: 2011 is going to have a new record.
EspyRock: So have you already started to push forward with the album?
Ryan: We're going to start writing when we come home. We're going to take a little bit of a break as soon as this tour is over so we can get our families back in order and spend some time with them, then start writing and then start working on the process of building tours. 2011 is going to be very strategic tour-wise, there won't be as many but the ones that are will be bigger, a bit more intense and more thought out. Like, this is who we want on the tour and if they are not going to do the tour, then we just won't fill the spot. If we want five bands to do the tour and only three can do it, then it's going to be a three-band tour. That's what we want to do, it's more strategic.
EspyRock: So if writing is planned when you get home, can we expect an end of 2011 release or maybe earlier?
Ryan: Maybe mid-year; safe to say towards the end but not at the end, maybe like eight months or something like that. Best thing about it is we're going to do it whenever we want to do it. There is no deadline right now, we don't have any dates set, we don't have the studio, we're going to do the record ourselves. So we will literally go in and record it and it will be probably be done before we sign a contract.
EspyRock: So you're not still signed to Rise or Roadrunner for a future release?
Ryan: It is a possibility. We haven't talked about that, but we haven't got that far. We will write the record, finish it, it will be done and then all we need to do is get a postage note and put a due date on it but it will be done. The only thing we will be waiting for is time for the press, time for the release date and time for advertising.

TORNADO To Record New Album With Peter Tägtgren

IN EXTREMO: Neues Album und Tour
 Im Frühjahr 2008 erschien das letzte Studioalbum von IN EXTREMO: „Sängerkrieg“. Mit dem Longplayer im Gepäck ging die Band auf eine fast einjährige Tournee.
Im Frühjahr 2011 werden IN EXTREMO ein neues Studioalbum veröffentlichen. „Sterneneisen“ heißt die dazugehörige Tournee, die am 7. April 2011 beginnt.

Recorded at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida, the long-awaited follow-up to 2007's "They Rise" is due out in early 2011 via Ibex Moon Records. SUICIDAL ANGELS: \'Bleeding Holocaust\' Video Released
 "Bleeding Holocaust", the new video from Greek thrashers SUICIDAL ANGELS, can be viewed below. The track comes off the band's third album, "Dead Again", which is scheduled for release on November 19 via NoiseArt Records. The winners of the Rock The Nation awards 2009, which was presented by magazines from all over Europe, the quartet has found itself a perfect home as the label is a division of Rock The Nation, which also serves as the band's booking agency.

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY: New Album Title, Track Listing Revealed
 CAVALERA CONSPIRACY — the project featuring former SEPULTURA members Max (guitar, vocals) and Igor Cavalera (drums) — has set "Blunt Force Trauma" as the title of its second album, due in March via Roadrunner Records. The CD was once again tracked with Logan Mader (ex-MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY guitarist), who co-produced the LP with Max. Logan also mixed the follow-up to the band's debut album, "Inflikted", which has sold less than 50,000 copies in the United States since its March 2008 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The brothers Cavalera co-founded SEPULTURA, the Brazilian metal band that redefined and established the genre outside of the U.S. and Europe. After Max exited the band, there was a rift between himself and his brother, one that was eventually repaired through the redemptive power of music. Some time had passed and Max and Igor were unable to resist the musical pull in their magnetic fields and their musical collaboration was renewed. The duo are back for round two with CAVALERA CONSPIRACY.
CAVALERA CONSPIRACY's lineup is filled out by guitarist Marc Rizzo, who plays with Max in SOULFLY, and bassist Johnny Chow.

 Das neue ...AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD Album "Tao of the Dead" erscheint am 4. Februar 2011. Die Erste Single "Summer Of All Dead Souls" ist ab dem 29. November digital erhältlich.
Im Frühjahr 2010 unterschieb die Band mit Richter Scale Records einen weltweiten Vertrag mit Superball Music. Mit dem Vertrag in der Tasche, legten Keely und Reece direkt los - das Ergebnis, ihr neuester Opus TAO OF THE DEAD wird in Deutschland/Österreich/Schweiz ab dem 4. Februar 2011 erhältlich sein. Natürlich wird die Band ihr neues Album auch live vorstellen, was in Deutschland ab Ende März zunächst in Form einiger Headlining-Shows und anschließend in Europa zusammen mit Rival Schools geschehen wird. Genaue Daten werden in Kürze bekannt gegeben. Jetzt wurde die neue Single "Summer Of All Dead Souls" hier zum probehören online gestellt.
