Video Premiere: FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's 'Inside Out'

"Inside Out", the new music video from FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's eighth album, "F8", due on February 28 via Better Noise Music.

Fans who pre-order the album digitally will receive an instant download of "Inside Out" along with two other new tracks before the release on February 28.

The album will be available in the following formats: CD, digital download, mastered for iTunes download, double gatefold vinyl and picture disc vinyl. The band also curated special "F8" merchandise bundles of albums with exclusive t-shirts, hoodies and more available for pre-order now as well.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH guitarist Zoltan Bathory said: "We had an extremely successful, yet tumultuous couple of years as a band. We didn't just weather the storm but came out on the other side better than ever. It was a focused sober group recording, our most important album to date and without a question it shows. This album represents rebirth, progression, transcendence both personally and musically." Vocalist Ivan Moody added: "This record to me is 'absolution' — everything I've done in my life has led up to this moment."

"F8" track listing:

01. F8

02. Inside Out

03. Full Circle

04. Living The Dream

05. A Little Bit Off

06. Bottom Of The Top

07. To Be Alone

08. Mother May I (Tic Toc)

09. Darkness Settles In

10. This Is War

11. Leave It All Behind

12. Scar Tissue

13. Brighter Side Of Grey

14. Making Monsters (bonus)

15. Death Punch Therapy (bonus)

16. Inside Out (radio edit) (bonus)

Moody spoke about "Inside Out" with Metal Hammer magazine last month, saying: "It's about alcoholism. It's about my family leaving. It's about my bandmates. It's about looking at myself in the fucking face and saying, 'Dude, you're going to have to do this because nobody else is coming.'"

He said about the record in general: "This album has not been fucking easy to make. There was always somebody fucking quitting. Somebody wants to fire another guy, somebody's unhappy with someone's lifestyle. These things happen on a daily basis."

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's new disc was once again helmed by Kevin Churko, the Canadian record producer/engineer and songwriter who currently lives in Las Vegas, where he works out of his private studio, The Hideout Recording Studio.

Bathory recently said that the band's new LP could be its best yet. He said: "We have a little pie that we belong to in the musical spectrum, and within that, the grooves — there are these big, nasty grooves that feel just heavier and grimier, and that's kind of what's happening. The energy of what's in the band now is affecting this process."

The drums on the disc were laid down by Charlie "The Engine" Engen, who made his live debut with the group during its fall 2018 tour with BREAKING BENJAMIN. He stepped in for original drummer Jeremy Spencer, who left the band in December 2018 due to a back injury.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH recently announced the dates for a new spring North American tour. The trek kicks off on April 8 in Sunrise, Florida, winding down on May 20 in St. Paul, Minnesota. PAPA ROACH, I PREVAIL and ICE NINE KILLS will join FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH on the upcoming road trip.

BRUCE DICKINSON Would Love To Perform IRON MAIDEN Songs With An Orchestra

According to Eonmusic, Bruce Dickinson has revealed that he has been in discussions about bringing IRON MAIDEN's epic "Empire Of The Clouds" to the live stage along with other MAIDEN classics, in an orchestral setting. Dickinson, a huge fan of DEEP PURPLE, whose Jon Lord recorded the "Concerto For Group And Orchestra" in 1969, made the revelation during the question-and-answer portion of his spoken-word event in Dublin, Ireland on Friday night (December 13).

The idea, Bruce revealed, sprang from a conversation he had had while taking part in the 50th-anniversary concert celebration of "Concerto For Group And Orchestra" in late November at the Palais Montcalm in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

The show, which saw Bruce perform PURPLE classic "When A Blind Man Cries", also featured Lord's longtime friend and musical collaborator Paul Mann.

Said Bruce: "I did talk to the conductor Paul Mann, and we just very tentatively said, 'Wouldn't it be great if we could do something that might involve some MAIDEN songs, but only MAIDEN songs that are really appropriate for doing [with] an orchestra?' 'Empire Of The Clouds' is one of them. So yeah, you never know.”

When asked whether MAIDEN would ever perform "Empire Of The Clouds" at one of the band's concerts, the singer answered emphatically, "No."

Dickinson previously shot down the idea of MAIDEN including "Empire Of The Clouds" in its setlist during a 2015 interview with Noisey. He said at the time: "I don't think we'll play 'Empire'. You need strings, you need cellos, you need horns, you need all this stuff to play it properly, and it's such a dominating song. In the format of a regular IRON MAIDEN thunderous stage show, it would be altogether too dominant, I think, so we're definitely not going to be playing it."

Dickinson is not the only member of IRON MAIDEN to have expressed an interest in performing the band's songs with an orchestra. Back in 2015, drummer Nicko McBrain told the 98.7 The Gater radio station that he would love to see MAIDEN's music reinterpreted in an orchestral setting.

"I'd like to see us do like what Jon Lord did years and years back with the London [Symphony Orchestra], when he played the [Royal] Albert Hall, is do IRON MAIDEN songs with an orchestra," Nicko said. "I'd love [to do it], because there's a lot of stuff there. 'Alexander The Great' is a track that everybody's been moaning [that] it's been never played live. I'd like to do things like that. Everything that we haven't covered I'd like to see us do an orchestral version of. Perhaps that will happen one day. I think ['Empire Of The Clouds'] will probably be performed somewhere along the line, whether it's in an IRON MAIDEN formula, or whether it'll be Bruce doing something with that song with someone else, perhaps. But I don't think we can really see play that one live, 'cause there's so much going on. Michael Kenney [who has been playing keyboards on MAIDEN's records and world tours] does a lot of the fill-ins on songs where we've had… There's something probably on 'The Red And The Black', if we do that live, Michael would do that, or if we did something which has got some orchestration on it, which you can do with a keyboard, Michael Kenney would do it. But this you can't do; you can't do that. Plus there's a lot of percussion instruments on there as well and whatnot, so it really wouldn't be something… And it's 18 minutes long. I mean, you could do two songs in there [instead of 'Empire Of The Clouds'], couldn't you?"

QUEEN's BRIAN MAY Says U.K. Election Result Is 'A Wake-Up Call For Us'

QUEEN guitarist Brian May has weighed in on Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Conservative Party's resounding victory in the United Kingdom's general elections on Thursday, saying that he believes that "this election result is a wake-up call for us."

Johnson has repeatedly said that the Conservatives reclaiming their majority in Parliament will "get Brexit done" by quickly passing the prime minister's Brexit deal and moving to negotiate a free-trade agreement with the EU by the end of 2020.

Earlier today, May took to his Instagram to post a picture of Johnson and included the following message:

"Who is this man ? What does it all mean ?

"Yes - I see many of your comments - and it's obvious there are hundreds of thousands of us who are sad that our close ties with Europe are now certain to be broken.

"Many of us will continue to see BREXIT as a tragic mistake. But I believe that this election result is a wake-up call for us.

"Whether or not we like Boris Johnson, or his party, or the process that has given him this victory, matters very little. The people of this country have now spoken in a very decisive way. We have in effect a new prime minister, now elected by the people as well as his party, no longer insecure, perched precariously on the edge of a cliff.

"Boris Johnson's massive majority in Parliament will give him the power to do more or less whatever he wants in the coming 5 years. Whether or not we are impressed by his record to date, he now has the opportunity to make a new start from a position of stability and strength. The decent thing for US to do now is give him the benefit of the doubt. The gracious thing to do is congratulate him and pray that he will become the honest, truthful, courageous, compassionate statesman that we all want him to be. We, as animal campaigners will be knocking on his door from tomorrow onwards, seeking better deals for Britain's non-human animals, with the sincere hope and belief that he will listen. We already have a very decent ally in many areas in Michael Gove, who has defied being typecast as an insensitive Tory, to make more improvements to animal welfare than any Minister of the Environment in living memory.

"I'm personally disgusted with the way the MEDIA behaved in this election period - the filth that the Mail and the Sun and the Telegraph spewed out day after day, the poisonous smears and character assassinations that even the BBC promulgated, in my opinion, should justify a complete reform of Press rules. But it was noticeable that Mr Johnson, unlike Mr Trump across the water, didn't get personally involved in the slander.

"We wish Boris a decent chance to rebuild Britain. Like it or not, we now have the chance to unite and support him in making the best of what has been decided."

Last year, May called Brexit the "stupidest thing we've ever tried to do," explaining that he and fellow Brits "do things a lot better when we co-operate with other people.

"I don't like all this separatist stuff and this sort of illusion that we can all stand on our own," he said. "To me, the future lies in co-operation… Great things happen from interactions, in my opinion."

May had previously criticized then-prime minister Theresa May over Brexit, saying "it was wrong from the start to ask the British to vote on Brexit, most of whom had no idea [about the consequences]."

JUDAS PRIEST’s ROB HALFORD On Reuniting With K.K. Downing - “I’m Not Going To Answer That Question, It’s Like A Little Stick Of Dynamite”

Legendary Judas Priest singer Rob Halford spoke with “Metal” Tim from BraveWords about his holiday album Celestial and many other topics including new Priest music, their Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame nomination, the status of former guitarist K.K. Downing, Glenn Tipton’s current health and the possibilities of more solo work and even resurrecting Fight. When asked if he is willing to stretch out and do another Christmas record, why don’t we hear Resurrection Part 2?

"You know, anything’s on the table for me,” Halford reveals. “Bands are like a kaleidoscope as far as where you go or what you do, when you might get back together again, I don’t know. I’ve been noodling some ideas again for some more Fight music.”

I remind Halford that where we first met was at Fight press junket held in Phoenix, Arizona for the debut, 1993’s War Of Words.

"Oh my God, yeah,” he recalls. “And those two albums, particularly War Of Words, it’s still quite a potent record that record. My curiosity as a musician has never diminished, you know. I always feel there is something more to try and do. The clock’s ticking - I’m older but there’s still plenty of time to get things done or looked at.”

BraveWords: We must talk about the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame because they continue to play catch-up with many heavy bands that have been eligible for years. What’s your feeling on that?

Halford: "I’m thrilled to see the list this year, because as is usually the case it’s full of very very important, vital musicians. Sadly the list has some people on it who are no longer with us but that’s the importance and relevance of the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame - to bring really strong focus to incredibly talented people who have left indelible music within the great umbrella of rock n’ roll. It’s an honour to be nominated a second time. Personally, I want to see Motörhead get in, I want to see Soundgarden get in, I want to see Priest get in. I have some of my friends on there and they are so deserving. Fingers crossed we get in for 2020 because it’s the 50th anniversary of Priest so if we got in then that would be a dream come true.”

BraveWords: How’s Glenn (Tipton) doing?

Halford: "He’s doing great. We stay in touch by email. He’s drifting away in the studio. He can still play the guitar - he can still put the riffs down. I’ll be seeing him when I get back over at Christmastime, and I’ll be making plans for some very initial kind of steps into the next Priest record, whatever that night be, whenever that might be.”

BraveWords: And if Priest enters the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame, do you think K.K. will be in attendance?

Halford: "I’m not going to answer that question, Tim. It’s like a little stick of dynamite.”

Watch for BraveWords’ full feature with the Metal God next week!

Celestial (Legacy Recordings) is available to order on Rob’s artist store - with exclusive merchandise and a limited, autographed metallic-gold color version of the vinyl. Visit the Rob Halford store here.

K.K. DOWNING Would 'Absolutely' Perform With JUDAS PRIEST At ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME Induction

Ex-JUDAS PRIEST guitarist K.K. Downing says he is looking forward to putting on a "great performance" when he and his former bandmates reunite at a Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony.

Having been eligible for induction since 1999, JUDAS PRIEST was on the ballot for last year's class of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, but was ultimately left out of the inductee list.

This past October, it was announced that JUDAS PRIEST is among the nominees for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's class of 2020. The top vote-getters will be announced in January and inducted May 2, 2020 at a ceremony at Cleveland's Public Hall.

Speaking to the Rockin' Metal Revival, Downing said that there is a very good chance that he will perform with his former bandmates again if PRIEST gets the nod.

"Oh, I think absolutely," he said (hear audio below). "I mean, why wouldn't you, really? It's a special thing. We're all of an age now. These opportunities only come once in a lifetime. And it seemingly takes a lifetime to get into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. I've always said, there's no such thing as a young legend, right? [Laughs] So, while we're still here, it would be great to receive that accolade and put on a great performance and put that one to bed."

To be eligible for this year's ballot, each nominee's first single or album had to be released in 1994 or earlier.

A voter pool of more than 1,000 artists, historians, journalists and members of the music industry will select the new class. Fans will also have a chance to take part in the process by voting at RockHall.com or an interactive kiosk at the museum in Cleveland.

Current members Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Glenn Tipton and Scott Travis would be inducted along with Downing, Les Binks and late drummer Dave Holland.

Halford told Billboard in 2017 that he was not opposed to the idea of reuniting with Downing at the Rock Hall induction ceremony if they were to ever receive the honor. "Everything's on the table for anyone that's been associated with PRIEST in and out of the band," the singer said.

Downing recently said that he reached out to JUDAS PRIEST about taking part in the band's upcoming 50th-anniversary tour but that their response was that they were not interested in including him in the celebrations.

KEITH NELSON Doesn't Regret Leaving BUCKCHERRY: 'I Have No Hard Feelings'

Former BUCKCHERRY guitarist Keith Nelson says that he has no regrets about his exit from the band.

Nelson's departure from BUCKCHERRY was announced in May 2017. At the time, no reason was given for his split with the group. He was replaced by Kevin Roentgen, who had previously played with AMERICAN PEARL and SOUL.

During an appearance on this past Thursday's (December 12) episode of "Trunk Nation: L.A. Invasion" on SiriusXM, Nelson was asked if he is still at peace with his decision to leave BUCKCHERRY. He responded: "All good. I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be."

Pressed about whether the "main reason" he left BUCKCHERRY was "the grind of it," Keith said: "Uhm, no. I never actually spoke of my reasons, 'cause it wasn't just one."

Asked if there is anything he would like to say about his departure from BUCHCKERRY now, Nelson said: "I'm really focused on moving forward and what I'm doing now. I'm really proud of what I did. We achieved a lot — way more than we thought we could — and I have no hard feelings. I'm just moving forward."

Asked if he regrets the decision to leave BUCKCHERRY, Keith said: "No. I'm good with it."

In a recent interview with the "Appetite For Distortion" podcast, BUCKCHERRY singer Josh Todd stated about the circumstances that led to the departures of Nelson and drummer Xavier Muriel: "It got really weird, the last three years before the split. It just wasn't a band anymore. We weren't aligned; we weren't all focused on the same things; we didn't all want the same things. Everything happens for a reason, and it's been nothing but great things for all of us. I can't speak for Keith or Xavier, but I just hope that they are really happy in their lives. That's all I care about, really, because at the end of the day, that's all you want for people. I can't harbor resentment or anger towards anybody. At the time, there was a lot of stuff that rubbed me the wrong way, but since then, I've really worked through it a lot, and now, looking back, it just needed to happen. Now, everything's really amazing. With every lineup change in BUCKCHERRY's history, it's always gotten better, so I had that to kind of reflect on when all this was going down, so I was just optimistic about the whole thing."

This past March, Todd said that he had yet to rekindle his friendship with Nelson, despite the vocalist's attempt to bury the hatchet. "I can tell you this. I really gave him an opportunity to set himself up for that, and he didn't take that opportunity," Todd told "Rock Talk With Mitch Lafon". "I can only personally tell you that I've done a lot of work on the subject and I can say this that I hope he's happy, and that's it. And I hope everybody who's had any kind of issue with [BUCKCHERRY] and had to leave is happy, 'cause that's all that matters at the end of the day. I don't hate him and I don't hate anybody."

BUCKCHERRY's latest album, "Warpaint", was released in March.

Earlier in the year, the band recruited Francis Ruiz as its new drummer. He joined the group as the replacement for Sean Winchester, who exited BUCKCHERRY after laying down the drum tracks on "Warpaint".

Winchester hooked up with BUCKCHERRY in 2017 following the departure of Muriel.

BRING ME THE HORIZON Frontman Calls DONALD TRUMP 'The Ugliest Human' The World Has Ever Seen

BRING ME THE HORIZON singer Oli Sykes has slammed Donald Trump as "the ugliest human this world has ever seen" after the U.S. president again publicly mocked teen climate crisis activist Greta Thunberg.

Trump tweeted Thursday it was "ridiculous" Time magazine named Thunberg its "Person Of The Year," saying that the 16-year-old Swede who has been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome has "anger management" issues.

"So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!" Trump wrote, responding to a tweet congratulating Thunberg on being named "Person Of The Year."

In response to Trump's words, Oli tweeted simply: "U r the ugliest human this world has eva seen."

Thunberg, who delivered an address at the U.N. climate conference on Wednesday in Madrid, appeared to brush off Trump's attack, changing her Twitter profile to read: "A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend."

Thunberg has gained international media attention in recent months for her outspoken activism on climate change, including delivering an impassioned speech to the United Nations Climate Action Summit calling out world leaders for not responding to the climate crisis with more urgency.

President Trump, who has repeatedly voiced skepticism about climate change, shared video of Thunberg's speech on Twitter, and above it wrote, sarcastically, that "she seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"

In her speech to the U.N., Thunberg said: "This is all wrong. I shouldn't be up here. I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean.

"Yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. And yet, I'm one of the lucky ones.

"People are suffering. People are dying and dying ecosystems are collapsing.

"We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth.

"How dare you continue to look away and come here saying that you're doing enough when the politics and solutions needed are still nowhere in sight," she said. "You say you hear us and that you understand the urgency, but no matter how sad and angry I am, I do not want to believe that. Because if you really understood the situation and still kept on failing to act then you would be evil, and that I refuse to believe."

IRONFLAME To Release Blood Red Victory In February; First Single Streaming

U.S. heavy metal warriors Ironflame will release its third full-length album, Blood Red Victory, February 7 on Divebomb Records (CD) and Metalworld Switzerland (vinyl and cassette).

A lyric video for the album's first single, "Seekers Of The Blade," is available below.

Recorded, performed, mixed, and mastered by D'Cagna (with guitar leads by Lukas and Scott) at Sacred Sound in Martins Ferry, OH from December 2018 through February 2019, Blood Red Victory finds Ironflame once again brandishing their trademark approach to soaring, triumphant heavy metal hymns. Regarding its subject matter, D'Cagna states, "There is a recurring theme of victory in the lyrics for this album. Some songs have an air of chest-out confidence; others are about overcoming adversaries or even adversity itself. Most have been written from a 'we/us' perspective, which makes the listener feel like, 'We're in this together.'"

Clocking in at 10 tracks in just over 50 minutes, Blood Red Victory is sure to be a heavy metal favorite in 2020. As with past efforts from Ironflame, the disc will be a must-have for diehard fanatics of heavy metal's true legacy.

GLENN DANZIG's Vampire Spaghetti Western Completes Filming: 'It's Pretty Crazy,' He Says

Glenn Danzig has completed filming his next movie. It is the follow-up to his "Verotika" feature film directorial debut, which received its premiere in June.

Glenn spoke about his new project during a question-and-answer session for the Philadelphia screening of "Verotika" on Friday (December 13) at the Philadelphia Film Center.

Danzig said (see video below): "We just finished my vampire spaghetti western. It's much different [from 'Verotika'], of course, because there's no comic book to follow. So we had pretty free rein in the movie… All the characters have like a traditional vampire name and a traditional western name… A lot of guest cameos in it — some friends of mine came in and did some cameos in the movie. It's, again, based on the European cinema."

He continued: "A spaghetti western is, basically… The Italians loved American westerns so much, they started doing their own westerns. And they got Clint Eastwood and Henry Fonda and a bunch of other actors — Charles Bronson — to come over and do these wild Italian westerns. And we eventually started calling them spaghetti westerns. In mine, everybody's a vampire. So you don't have to wait around to see the vampire — everybody's a vampire. You don't have to wait around to see blood — you're gonna see lots of blood… It's pretty crazy."

Glenn also confirmed that he has an acting role in his new movie. "It's such a small part," he said. "But it was a lot of fun. I get to get all bloody, which I love being bloody — it's part of what I do."

Glenn previously spoke about his upcoming movie during a question-and-answer session six months ago at at the Cinepocalypse festival in Chicago. He said: "The soundtrack has been done for two years and, of course, it sounds almost exactly like an Ennio Morricone soundtrack."

When it debuted at the Cinepocalypse festival in Chicago, "Verotika" was compared by some reviewers to Tommy Wiseau's "The Room", the so-bad-it's-amazing drama which is considered one of the worst movies ever made.

"If you do something you love, it's difficult," Danzig said at Cinepocalypse. "On a movie set, there are tons of problems that happen that you would never foresee. So, you have to hit the ground running… Right from the start, it was very clear we're not making a Hollywood movie. A lot of my influences and the different films I like, especially European films, you can see them in here, and, lighting, colors, it's much different from a movie you will see nowadays."

"Verotika" stars Alice Haig, Ashley Wisdom, Kayden Kross, Natalia Borowsky, Rachel Alig, Scotch Hopkins and Sean Kanan. The film also features a cameo appearance from Caroline Williams of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" fame.

NIRVANA's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' Video Set To Hit 1 Billion Views On YouTube

The countdown begins as NIRVANA's video for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is about to hit one billion views on YouTube. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" opened NIRVANA's breakthrough release "Nevermind" (Geffen/UMe) which hit No. 1 around the world, selling more than 30 million copies worldwide. The single made its radio debut on August 27, 1991 and the accompanying video showed the band playing background music for a truly spirited high-school cheerleading squad.

"Nevermind" would come to be much more than one of the most successful and influential albums of all time. It returned rock 'n' roll integrity and passion to the top of the charts and continues to be a singular inspiration to fans and musicians alike over the last three decades — and generations to come. It has been credited over the years with helping to kill off hair metal.

Charles R. Cross, the author of "Heavier Than Heaven", a biography of NIRVANA frontman Kurt Cobain, told Today.com about the mega-success of "Nevermind": "It's an incredible album. It would have been a hit whenever it was released. But at the same time, the timing was right for there to be a superstar act like NIRVANA. It came right at the end of the death knell of hair metal and the world was screaming for rock music that would be meaningful again. And the timing for a new generation wanting a voice was also ideal. It just so happened that everything came together at the exact right moment when rock needed a revolution."

Last week, YouTube unveiled its list of the top music videos of every decade from the 1980s to the 2010s. GUNS N' ROSES ended up topping the list for the '80s and '90s, thanks to "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "November Rain", respectively, both of which have garnered more than 1 billion views. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was the second most-watched video of the '90s. Elsewhere, LINKIN PARK's "Numb" was the second most-viewed video of the 2000s, having racked up more than 1 billion views.

KISS's 'End Of The Road' Is POLLSTAR's Highest-Grossing North American Hard Rock/Metal Tour Of 2019

According to the music industry trade publication Pollstar, METALLICA was the top-grossing hard rock/metal band in the world during the period of November 22, 2018 to November 20, 2019. During that 12-month period, the group sold $179 million worth of concert tickets for its 48 reported shows around the globe.

The world's second-highest-grossing hard rock/metal artist during that period was BON JOVI, who sold $134 million worth of tickets worldwide for its 31 reported performances. Next on the list was KISS, who were the highest grossing hard rock/metal band in North America during the reporting period. SONS OF SILVER Featuring Past / Present Members Of PEARL JAM, CANDLEBOX, SKILLET Release Behind-The-Scenes Video For "Read 'Em Their Rights" Single

The holidays are coming early for Sons Of Silver (SOS) fans, as the alt rockers release an exclusive “behind-the-scenes” video for their latest single, “Read ‘Em Their Rights”. Featuring explosive live performance shots from their 2019 tour as well as rare studio footage of the band recording their forthcoming album, the riveting video takes viewers inside the life of one of the industry’s hardest working bands.

SOS (formerly Pete RG) spent the spring on the road and the rest of the year in their studio working on new material for 2020. According to frontman Peter Argyropoulos, the goal of the video was, “to give fans a teaser look at the band’s world”, and showcase the hands-on, do-it-yourself approach that they use in every aspect of their careers. Argyropoulos said that even most of the footage for the video was shot by the band on their phones and later edited by Anthony Fernandez.

“With the ‘Read Em Their Rights” video, we wanted to show what a typical day is like for us,” said Argyropoulos. “All of our writing and recording is done together in our studio. We are entirely self-produced and engineered from A to Z with no outside producers or engineers. As people will see, we like to keep it all in our little family.”

This hands-on, self-reliant attitude is what has propelled the quintet to success and stems from their years of experience creating and playing music. In addition to Argyropoulos, who was the lead singer and songwriter for popular indie band Last December, SOS features an esteemed all-star lineup. Drummer Dave Krusen (original Pearl Jam Drummer, HOF Inductee) and bassist Adam Kury also perform with multi-platinum rock band Candlebox, guitarist Kevin Halaand (formerly of Skillet) is a world-renowned session musician, and keyboardist Brina Kabler is an acclaimed engineer and producer who also helps oversee 4L Entertainment, the imprint indie-rock label and recording studio that she and Argyropoulos own and operate.

Ex-GUNS N' ROSES Drummer STEVEN ADLER Says 'It Was Really Awesome' To Play With SLASH, DUFF MCKAGAN And AXL ROSE Again

Steven Adler says that "it was really awesome" that he got to perform with GUNS N' ROSES on the band's reunion tour.

Although the drummer wasn't included in the lineup that launched the "Not In This Lifetime" trek in 2016, Adler rejoined GUNS N' ROSES at several shows on the tour, including three stops on the U.S. leg and one gig in Buenos Aires, Argentina, playing drums on "Out Ta Get Me" and "My Michelle".

During an appearance on this past Thursday's (December 12) episode of "Trunk Nation: L.A. Invasion" on SiriusXM, Adler said that he is grateful he got to share the stage again with his former bandmates.

"Like Freddie Mercury said, 'One year of love is better than a lifetime alone,'" he said. "And I had five great years. And they let me go up and play a few shows, a couple of songs, and it was really awesome. Just to be on stage with Slash and Duff [McKagan] and Axl [Rose] again. It's not exactly what I wanted, but, like Freddie said, 'One year of love is better than a lifetime alone.'"

In February 2017, Adler revealed to podcaster Mitch Lafon that he was originally supposed to appear at more than just a handful of shows on the GUNS N' ROSES reunion trek. He claimed that he expected to play all the "Appetite For Destruction" material during the entire tour, only to be told he was out after he hurt his back during rehearsals.

Speculation was rampant that Adler would participate in at least a portion of the reunion tour ever since GUNS made it official in January 2016. The regular GUNS drummer for several years has been Frank Ferrer, who is also part of the current lineup.

Steven has spent the last few months playing sporadic shows with ADLER'S APPETITE, also featuring Ariel Kamin, the singer of Argentinian GN'R tribute band SON OF A GUN, plus guitarists Michael Thomas and Alistair James, and bassist Tanya O Callaghan.

GUNS N' ROSES was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April 2012. Adler, Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum attended the ceremony, while Rose and former guitarist Izzy Stradlin stayed home.

MÖTLEY CRÜE, DEF LEPPARD, POISON, JOAN JETT Is 'Fastest Sellout In Miller Park History'

Tickets went on sale Friday morning (December 13) at 10 a.m. for "The Stadium Tour" featuring MÖTLEY CRÜE and DEF LEPPARD, with POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS, and the show scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin quickly became the fastest sellout in the venue's history. (According to Fox Sports, Miller Park’s capacity is 42,000.)

Produced by Live Nation and FPC Live, the concert is part of a 22-stop stadium tour visiting the country's most iconic stadiums.

"We're pleased to welcome 'The Stadium Tour' to Miller Park," said Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger in a news release. "This promises to be an unforgettable show headlined by four of the most successful bands in rock."

Tickets are still available for resale on web sites including Ticketmaster and StubHub.

Several of the shows on "The Stadium Tour" continue to take over the best-selling events, according to Ticket Club sales data.

"The Stadium Tour" kicks off July 7 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium and winds down on September 5 at Los Angeles's SoFi Stadium.

The trek marks CRÜE's first live dates since wrapping its 2014/2015 "farewell" tour. The band toured with POISON back in 2011 and DEF LEPPARD teamed up with POISON for a string of road dates in 2017 — but the upcoming jaunt marks the first time all four acts have hit the road together for an extended tour.

CRÜE fans who shelled out for the band's last tour were led to believe that the group would never return after playing its final show on December 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The band touted the signing of a pre-tour "cessation of touring" agreement as cementing the fact it truly was the end of CRÜE's life on the road.

WEAPONS OF ANEW Release New EP, Announce METAL ALLEGIANCE Show

New Jersey-based melodic metallists, Weapons Of Anew, have released a new mini-album in time for the holiday season, with the 2019 Tour Special EP available now.

Recorded live on July 30, 2019 from the Palace Theatre in Greensburg, PA, the five-track release features vocalist Ray West supplying gut-wrenching, pitch-perfect vocal acrobatics worthy of any top 10 singer list, Freddy Ordine's tasty shreds that are guaranteed to melt any metal fan's face right off, and drummer Chris Manfre and bassist Stephan Reno Cutrupi sounding so tight that you never really "hear" the rhythm section - as much as you feel it in your chest. Additionally, these live performances were mixed by famed rock producer, engineer, mixer Mike Ferretti (Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, Warren Haynes).

“The response we have gotten from fans to our live show has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Ordine. “So as a special ‘thank you’ to those who have attended our shows and supported us from the very beginning, we have assembled this special EP, which serves as the perfect preview of what to expect from WOA in concert, and also, including the first time the band has ever released an acoustic-based track, with an ‘unplugged’ rendition of ‘Moment’.”

Also, WOA will be opening for Metal Allegiance on January 16, at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. “We are really looking forward to sharing the stage again with Metal Allegiance,” adds West. “We have played with them before and had a blast...and we picked up many new fans in the process!”

The band has already honed their live show, opening for the likes of Alter Bridge, Tesla, and Metal Allegiance, and will be performing standouts from their latest album, The Collision Of Love And Hate, including the single, “Killshot,” for which a hard-hitting (literally!) video was filmed (see below).

Currently prepping for a new release coming in 2020, again with producer Mike Ferretti, Weapons Of Anew serve up this holiday platter of acoustic and live performances. All the songs on the EP are from their debut album, The Collision Of Love And Hate, which was released in 2017. Give it a listen, and get ready for WOA in 2020!.

The Weapons Of Anew 2019 Tour Special EP tracklisting:

"Killshot" (Live)
"Sundown" (Live)
"Speed" (Live)
"Moment" (Live)
"Moment" (Special Acoustic)

MIDNIGHT Launch Visualizer For New Single "Rising Scum"; NYC Listening Party Announced

On January 24, Midnight will release their new album, Rebirth By Blasphemy, via Metal Blade Records. "Rebirth By Blasphemy is a rebirth," states Midnight's sole driving force, Athenar. "It's a change in life and it's a rebirth of doing whatever the fuck you want and seeing what happens after that. It's about saying yes, taking opportunities, taking a fucking chance."

These sentiments are backed up by the notorious - and prolific - underground band's trademark blend of speed metal, black metal and punk rock, sounding both fuller and more raucous than ever before.

For a preview of Rebirth By Blasphemy, the new single, "Rising Scum" is available for streaming below.

Pre-order the album in the following formats here:

- jewelcase-CD
- digipak-CD (EU exclusive)
- cassette
- black vinyl (US exclusive - limited to 750 copies)
- oxblood vinyl (US exclusive - limited to 1000 copies)
- oxblood / grey split vinyl w/ black splatter (US exclusive - limited to 500 copies)
- blood red / white melt vinyl (US exclusive - limited to 500 copies)
- 180g black vinyl (EU exclusive)

- red / blue marbled vinyl (EU exclusive - limited to 1000 copies)
- red / black marbled vinyl (EU exclusive - limited to 666 copies)
- bloody skin vinyl (EU exclusive - limited to 400 copies)
- German flag vinyl (HRR exclusive - limited to 200 copies)
- jizz spinner vinyl (EU webshop exclusive - limited to 200 copies)

Dating back to the band's inception in 2002, vocalist/guitarist/bassist/drummer Athenar has always known exactly what he wanted Midnight to be, and over the course of countless demos, EPs, compilations, splits and three full-lengths he has stayed true to his roots. There is no denying that, like its predecessors, Rebirth By Blasphemy is a ruthlessly catchy collection, every song, vicious as they are, wielding the kind of hooks that sink deep and don't let go.

Handling every instrument himself and being quite unfussy when it comes to production typically means that the recording process is a straightforward one for Midnight, and this time was no different. Staying in his home town of Cleveland, he opted to record at Mercenary Studios with the assistance of Noah Buchanan, laying the drums down in a day, the guitars in a little more than that, bass in a few hours, and then tracking the vocals to two or three songs a day. "I think there's really no production value on the album, it's really just get in there, press record and see what happens. Maybe you can tell that the sessions went pretty quickly when you listen to it. There are so-called mistakes, of course, but I wouldn't have it any other way." He also wouldn't have it any other way when it comes to touring this latest collection hard, with a lot of dates with a variety of bands already locked down. "It's the rebirth, it's saying fuck it and getting out there and doing what you're supposed to do, and we're supposed to play music. If people want to damage their ears by listening to it, that's welcomed."

Rebirth By Blasphemy tracklisting:

"Fucking Speed And Darkness"
"Rebirth By Blasphemy"
"Escape The Grave"
"Devil's Excrement"
"Rising Scum"
"Warning From The Reaper"
"Cursed Possessions"

Italy's BLASPHEMER To Release The Sixth Hour Album In January; "The Deposition" Music Video Streaming

Candlelight Records has announced the worldwide signing of Italian extreme metal stalwarts, Blasphemer. The group's third album, The Sixth Hour, will be released worldwide on January 24. Pre-order here, and watch a video for the song "The Deposition" below.

"The unholy crusaders have found their vexil: the phoenix. Blasphemer's third opus will see the light under the Candlelight Records banner," the band says.

The Sixth Hour showcases 12 songs of pure blackened-death metal, mastered at the famous studio Hertz in Poland, known for its work with Behemoth, Decapitated, and Vader. Fundamentally a concept album,The Sixth Hour's main theme is the way of the cross - the last day of Jesus Christ and the path that led him from the Gethsemane to Golgotha. The aim of the album is to depict Jesus as merely human, trying to transpose into music the agony he felt on the last day.

Blasphemer emerged from the underground in 1998, when they were founded in Italy by Simone Brigo (also of Beheasded). They have since toured Europe and US countless times, playing many festivals and shows all over the world. The band released On the Inexistence Of God in 2008 and the Devouring Deception EP in 2010 - both through the renowned US-based label Comatose Music.

In 2013, the band became quiescent, eventually coming back to the scene with the release of sophomore album Ritual Theophagy (Comatose Music, 2016), featuring Darren Cesca (Deeds Of Flesh, Arsis, Goratory) on drums. 2017 was the year of rebirth for Blasphemer: a new lineup and a different sound that incorporated more black metal influences. In June, a promo song was released, "Jesus Is Stripped Of His Garments" and was eventually issued in early 2019 on a split with Neocaesar, featuring former members of early Sinister.

Tracklisting:

"Let Him Be Crucified"
"Hail King Of The Jews"!
"The Stumbling Block"
"Stabat Mater"
"Blessed Are The Wombs That Neve"
"Lord Of Lies"
"Via Dolorosa"
"The Robe Of Mockery"
" I.N.R.I."
"The Sixth Hour"
"The Deposition"

MORTIIS Debuts New Music Video For "A Dark Horizon"; US Tour Announced

Mortiis has just dropped a new video for the song “A Dark Horizon”, which is taken from his forthcoming Spirit Of Rebellion release. The bleak-looking video was directed by Finish director Ari Savonen who Mortiis also teamed up with for the “Visions Of An Ancient Future” video. Watch both clips below.

Says Mortiis: “For the 'A Dark Horizon' video I decided to team up again with director Ari Savonen in order to create a similar dark and mysterious mood we previously captured with the 'Visions Of an Ancient Future' video. That first video symbolized the re-awakening of Mortiis (Era I) which is continued by the new video so to speak.

"Shooting conditions were intense, I had just come off a flight from Poland where I played a couple of shows and went straight to the set in Finland where winter had clearly arrived. Since we were shooting in an abandoned old factory and my new outfit basically consists of pieces of latex on my upper body, spending hours filming in a chilly factory environment basically meant I was freezing my butt off pacing around half-naked trying not do die.

"The things I do in the name of art…”

Mortiis is set to release “Spirit Of Rebellion”, a re-interpreted expansion and continuation of the 1994 Era I classic “Ånden som Gjorde Opprør” on January 24 via Omnipresence Productions / Dead Seed Productions.

He comments: "I had to fend off a lot of demons to get to this point. They’ll be back, they always come back, but at least my vision is no longer clouded...When I was working on re-interpreting my old music for the Cold Meat Industry Festival in Stockholm almost two years ago, I had no idea that I´d eventually create an (almost) new record, nor that sections of it would be used for my first 2 Dungeon Synth videos since 1996. But here we are.”

“Spirit Of Rebellion” will be released on CD, vinyl and in digital format. Pre-order via the following links:

KNASTERBART Debut Official Music Video For "Herzchen im Schnee"

German folk rock collective, Knasterbart, have released a video for "Herzchen im Schnee", featured on their Napalm Records debut, Perlen vor die Säue, out now. Watch below:

Knasterbart  have steered clear of all things golden and glamorous and chosen the hard life of a bunch of partying hicks instead: These seven dudes keep finding the stars in the gutter and have done so since 2012, churning out truly unique folk rock full of lewd humor, naughty daydreams and a healthy dose of self-mockery courtesy of musicians of Versengold and Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen.

Perlen vor die Säue is a smorgasbord of catchy and tongue-in-cheek songs full of outlaw party flavor ("Ringelpiez am Kiez"), tear-jerking moments ("Bambis Mama") and a peculiar love/hate relationship with Christmas ("Herzchen im Schnee"). This is a hefty, rough-and-ready album for all future piglets and those who already know how to grunt!

SERIOUS BLACK - Suite 226 Album Details Revealed

German/American power metallers, Serious Black, will release their fourth studio album, Suite 226, on January 31 via AFM Records. You can pre-order the album on digipak CD and limited coloured vinyl here.

Unlike Mirrorworld and Magic, which are much more hard rock, Suite 226 features more driving guitars, catchy hooks and finest riffing. After Magic, which is a concept album about the story of mysterious Mr. Nightmist, a witch and a lot of magic, this time Suite 226 also tells a complete narrative of a mentally confused man who is torn between his own dreamworld, reality and evil. In real life the protagonist has been held captive for many years in this dismal, cold padded cell number 226, the inhuman condition of the rotten psychiatry have driven him to total distraction. In his imagination he is the mighty king who lives in his feudal castle, surrounded by courtesans, good food and wine, commands an invincible army. Staggering between illusion and reality, he continues to be drawn into the maelstrom of madness, his life becomes a ride through purgatory, accompanied by demons, anxiety attacks and paranoia.

Serious Black takes the listener on a musically journey between heaven and hell, Suite 226 is the perfect soundtrack for this trip to the place of damnation. Ruthless riffs meets catchy melodies, driven by a manic rhythm section, Urban Breed´s top-rated unleashed vocals add the necessary amount of insanity. After listening to this dervish of an album one may ask oneself what is actually fiction, what is reality. And who knows, after that you may also hear these soft voices in your head. Don't say nobody warned you.

Tracklisting:

"Let it Go"
"When The Stars Right"

"O Holy Night" marks Upon Wings' second holiday single. Last year, the band released an acoustic version of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel / God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," which can be heard below.

"We were so thankful for the great response from last year's Christmas song, so we decided to create another," Erickson said. "These Christmas songs mark the first acoustic songs UPON WINGS has ever released, so they show a different side of the band."

"This year, we put a new spin on the traditional Christmas song, 'O Holy Night,' with a unique arrangement," she added. "We're once again releasing it as a free download through Christmas as a 'thank you' to fans for their support."

Upon Wingls' new rock single will arrive in January 2020. The band's upcoming EP promises some major guests.

Alan Parsons' music career started at 19 when he earned one of his his first credits as assistant engineer on The Beatles' Abbey Road, an album recorded in the legendary London studios of the same name. He soon become a well respected studio engineer, working for Paul McCartney, The Hollies, and many others. He is particularly renowned for his work as recording engineer on the Pink Floyd masterpiece, The Dark Side Of The Moon. This classic album was recorded in 1972 and Parsons experimented with many of the most advanced recording techniques of the time. As a producer, he enjoyed many successes with Pilot, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, John Miles, and Al Stewart, including the masterwork, Year Of The Cat.

In 1975, Alan Parsons formed The Alan Parsons Project along with principal songwriter (and occasional singer) Eric Woolfson. The Project consisted of a group of studio musicians and vocalists, often involving the members of three bands Alan produced: Pilot (Ian Bairnson, Stuart Tosh and David Paton), Cockney Rebel’s Stuart Elliott on drums, and (on the first album) American progressive pop/rock band, Ambrosia.

The Alan Parsons Project released ten acclaimed studio albums, but never performed live during the heyday of the albums, even after several US and European Top 20 hits. The Project made its final album at the end of the 80’s with the album Gaudi. Since then, Alan has released a number of recordings under his own name using several musicians that also appeared on the “Project" releases.

As well as receiving gold and platinum awards from countless countries, Parsons has received eleven Grammy Award nominations for his engineering and production work. In 2007, he was nominated for Best Surround Sound Album for his studio album, A Valid Path.

In 1994, Alan Parsons started touring regularly as The Alan Parsons Live Project and has released a number of live releases in audio and video. His live concerts continue to this day, to audiences worldwide.

MASSACRE Announces New Lineup, Begins Work On Fourth Album

Veteran Florida death metal band MASSACRE has joined forces with a new management team, Extreme Management Group, and has begun work on a new full-length album, to be released in 2020. The group has also welcomed new drummer Jeramie Kling (VENOM INC., THE ABSENCE, GOREGÄNG) and guitarist Taylor Nordberg (THE ABSENCE, GOREGÄNG).

MASSACRE's forthcoming album will be the first to feature original bassist Michael Borders, as well as the band's first recording in 23 years to feature original vocalist Kam Lee (ex-DEATH, ex-MANTAS).

Lee stated about returning to the band and the new lineup: "I understand for some fans that it's hard to not be a bit jaded about a band with such an ugly history, but that is all finally about to change. I'm now in a place in the band where I'm in position to do what is right by the band's namesake and legendary status quo. Plus, having both Jeramie and Taylor join is the best thing for the band. These members bring a sensibility and professional mindset that the band was lacking before and so urgently needed. Their talents and skill set is a refreshing and positively right direction for the band. I'm excited and looking forward to what MASSACRE will be doing next, and only hope the fans are just as excited."

MASSACRE has begun recording its fourth studio album at Kling/Nordberg's own Smoke & Mirrors Productions in Spring Hill, Florida.

A teaser video featuring a demo of a new song, titled "Cycle Of The Curse", can be seen below.

Of the new music's sound, Borders had this to say: "We're really stoked that Taylor and Jeramie decided to come on board. I really think it's a good mix of new blood into our sound. While there will be no doubt when you hear the new material you're listening to MASSACRE, fans will know these recent changes were for the better. We're giving these guys free rein to be themselves, do their thing, not clone sounds and styles of past members."

MASSACRE's new lineup will make its debut in the beginning of 2020 on a short run in Germany. January 17-19, alongside UNLEASHED, ENTRAILS and more.

MASSACRE parted ways with guitarist Rick Rozz and drummer Mike Mazzonetto in September. At the time, Lee and Borders blamed the split on "contract infringement violations," "poor performance, incompetence, and lack of professionalism."

MASSACRE's latest album, 2014's "Back From Beyond", featured Rozz and Mazzonetto alongside bassist Terry Butler and vocalist Ed Webb.

In early 2017, Butler — who is now playing bass for OBITUARY — told Metal Wani that Rozz and Mazzonetto "destroyed" MASSACRE with their "behind-the-scenes backtalking and backstabbing." He went on to make it clear that Rozz and Lee's then-collaboration could not be called MASSACRE. He said: "They can do all they want and write all the songs in the world they want, but it's not gonna be called MASSACRE."
