MEANS END Signs With ROGUE RECORDS

Swedish metallers MEANS END have inked a publishing and distribution deal with Rogue Records. The band's latest album, "The Didact", will be reissued on September 17 both in digital format and as a physical CD.

The official video for the song "Nox Aurumque" off "The Didact" can be seen below.

Commented Dean Martinetti, owner of Rogue Records: "When I was approached by Robert [Luciani, vocals] of MEANS END, I almost fell off my chair. I'm a big fan and I love what MEANS END is doing in the metal world, so to have a chance to work with them is a top honor for me.

"Rogue will be working VERY hard for MEANS END, as we do with all our bands, and we can't wait to see what comes of the pairing."

MEANS END had this to say about the new relationship with Rogue: "Of all the reputable companies we've approached, Rogue is the only one not afraid to stick their chin out. They bet on up-and-coming bands, invent modern and clever distribution and marketing strategies, work with alternative media channels like videogame publishers, and lots of other things that the aging plus-size labels simply can't match. More importantly though, our strategic partnership with Rogue will result in more and better music than ever before. We're looking forward to drawing on all of Rogue's creative talent."

MEANS END is currently in the studio writing material for its next album, tentatively due in the fall of 2014.

"The new release will be clocking in at a scale crushing 150 minutes of music. It will be more intelligent, powerful, complex, and epic than the last record," states Luciani.
