DESIRE THE FIRE Working On Debut EP With FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, HELLYEAH Engineer Shawn McGhee
After taking a personal interest in the band, producer Shawn McGhee recorded the EP with Desire The Fire at the legendary Las Vegas recording studio, The Hideout. “Shawn was our essential missing ingredient,” says lead vocalist Cody Elliott. “We came into the studio as a band of brothers with these songs, we have determination to make our voice known to the world. Shawn has made us all tighter as a band, we look forward to growing as musicians and as members of this family.”
D.T.F.’s live show is no joke either! Brutal sounds mixed with tremendous theatrics has become the recipe fans are flocking to see. “The reason everyone comes to our show is to see what we will do next,” says Elliott. “Everything we do is spontaneous and in the moment. We NEVER plan out our performances and that’s what makes us real.”
Hundreds of fans are packing into clubs just to get a glimpse of the next big thing in rock and metal. D.T.F. is finally giving radio its balls back with their gang-like mentality and high energy songs. Appealing to the masses, they’ve also cultivated quite the following with their theatrical performances. Desire The Fire is, without a doubt, the total package.
