YÜTH FOREVER Streaming New Single “Growing Pains”Illinois-based downtempo/groove metallers, Yüth Forever, have announced the release of their sophomore effort, Skeleton Youth Forever, on June 3rd via Prosthetic Records. A new single, “Growin Pains”, is streaming below.
Featuring 13 songs of groove-laden, dark electronic, angst-filled mood metal, Skeleton Youth Forever is a collection of jarring contrasts between sullen, somber honesty and energetic, emotional aggression. The album is an experience that embodies what it is to live and grow - introspective, intense and honest from start to finish, Skeleton Youth Forever is an album for the Youth, by the Yüth.
Skeleton Youth Forever will mark the bands sophomore effort, following 2015's debut Freudian Slip, and was produced by longtime friend, Sam Bottner (Barrier).
Vocalist Devin MacGillivary commented, "We chose him [Bottner] because he produced 10 Code and Extortion and he absolutely KILLED it on both of those. Also, because he's one of our best friends, and it only felt right (for nostalgic purposes) to go with someone we were so close with and who had already spent so much of his time helping us further our band.”
MacGillivary also gave insight on what listeners can expect from the new material, “I think this is a good combination of our previous releases sprinkled with a lot of new innovation in terms of what we did with the songs. There are a lot of weird or funky parts that I wrote because I was really into disco music at the time. To me, a lot of the record just makes me want to dance.”
Get a taste of Skeleton Youth Forever and take a listen to the stream of the albums debut single "People Pleaser" in the below lyric video. Grab a digital pre-order of Yüth Forever's new album via Bandcamp and you'll receive an instant download of "People Pleaser". You can also pre-order a copy on CD here.

GLENN DANZIG Thinks MISFITS Reunion Shows Will Be 'Incredible'Glenn Danzig spoke to Rolling Stone about his reunion with MISFITS bassist Jerry Only and guitarist Doyle for an appearance at this year's Riot Fest, which will take place in Denver and Chicago this fall.
"I don't think people should question it too much," Danzig said. "It may have never happened, but it is going to happen for at least two shows. We'll see how it goes. It may lead to some other work, but who knows how it's going to turn out? I mean, I don't think it's going to be a disaster; I think it's going to be incredible."
According to Only, the reunion came about after a meeting he had with Danzig in January. The pair had gotten together with the MISFITS management in order to discuss the rights to the band's name and merchandising with a view towards avoiding any further litigation between the parties.
"Without saying stuff I'm not allowed to say, it became a mediation and evolved from there," Danzig said. "We put a lot of stuff behind us and resolved certain longstanding issues. It wasn't an overnight thing."
Asked if he and Only had always been friends, despite the legal battles, Danzig said: "No, we haven't been friends. In the beginning we were friends but certain things happened that made it not a friendship. We're putting that in the past."
Regarding what fans can expect to see at the upcoming MISFITS shows, Danzig said: "I'm just going to do what I normally do, which is to go out there and try and have a great time myself and make sure everybody has a fantastic fucking time. I want them to be so blown away they don't know what the fuck just hit them."
The MISFITS reunion, billed as "The Original Misfits," will take place over two shows in September. The first concert is scheduled for September 2-4 at Denver's Riot Fest And Rodeo, while the second will happen at Riot Fest And Carnival, set for September 16-18 in Chicago.
The original MISFITS band broke up in 1983, and bassist Jerry Only brought forth a new version of the MISFITS in 1995. Various members have come and gone, but Only, along with BLACK FLAG's Dez Cadena, has kept some form of the MISFITS in the recording studio and on the road for most of the last two decades.
After the original MISFITS disbanded, vocalist Glenn Danzig went on to form SAMHAIN and then the eponymous DANZIG. Several albums of reissued and previously unreleased material were issued after the group's dissolution, and their music became influential to punk rock, heavy metal, and alternative rock music of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Former ELUVEITIE Guitarist IVO HENZI Comments On Departure - "I Am Disappointed And Frustrated, But I Also Know This To Be The Only Possible Solution"Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie recently checked in with some sad news, revealing the band has splintered following the firing of drummer Merlin Sutter. They have posted an official statement explaining the situation, which can be found here. Guitarist Ivo Henzi has posted an official statement regarding his departure, which can be read below:
"With a heavy heart I have to announce my departure from Eluveitie. This is not an easy decision; for over a decade, Eluveitie has been at the very centre of my life. I am grateful for the opportunities provided to me over the years, opportunities to play many countless shows and to bring joy to fans from across the world with the music of Eluveitie. I have grown as a musician and as a songwriter and I am proud of having contributed many a song, and of playing a crucial role in shaping Eluveitie's sound today.
Unfortunately, certain conditions and dissent with other band members require me to conclude that both on a professional and a personal level I no longer can, or want to, continue with Eluveitie. Recent events have made it impossible for me to reconcile a future with Eluveitie with my conscience.
I have not anticipated these developments, therefore this step is sudden. Yet it is also final, and well thought-out. I am disappointed and frustrated, but I also know this to be the best, and only, possible solution. Especially after all these hard working years, investing full time on live shows, recording in the studio and pushing the spirit of Eluveitie's music in all conscience to the next step.
Music will remain my passion and my purpose in life; this will not change. I am motivated and I look positively towards my musical future. I am, in fact, already working on new music (along with Anna and Merlin).
I remain eternally grateful for the longstanding support of you, the fans, because without you I would have never gone as far as I have!" 6

OZZY And JACK OSBOURNE's 'World Detour' Reality Show To Premiere On HISTORY In JulyOzzy Osbourne and his son Jack are starring in a new a new show produced by the History channel called "Ozzy & Jack's World Detour".
In this new ten-episode hour-long non-scripted series, the self-proclaimed history nerds hit the road in a father-son journey they've waited years to take. There will be no roadies, no tour buses and no boundaries. Just a bucket list of iconic and historically significant spots that includes Mt. Rushmore, Stonehenge, The Alamo, Roswell, The Jamestown Settlement and Sun Studios and a hit list of some fascinating sights and people that they've read about. From a Cold War-era Missile Silo to Bletchley Park; from gold miner Rattlesnake Randy's stream of dreams to vintage tank collector Allan Cors's private museum of working war machines, Ozzy and Jack get their eyes and hands on history.
The series is produced for History by T-Group Productions with Osbourne Media. Jenny Daly, Jack Osbourne, R. Greg Johnston, Peter Glowski and Rob Lobl serve as executive producers. Matt Ginsburg is the executive producer for History.
Ozzy in November returned to San Antonio, Texas as part of the History channel program — to apologize for urinating on the Alamo Cenotaph in 1982. He was also spotted around Roswell, New Mexico, where he and Jack visited the International UFO Museum, and they traveled to Cuba, where they spent almost a week.
Ozzy admitted to The Pulse Of Radio that doing the History channel show will help him fill in some blanks in his own knowledge of history: "Anything past World War II, I'm clueless," he said. "I'm kind of up on World War II 'cause I was born a couple of years after. So I know quite a lot about World War II and Hitler and the Nazis and all that. But anything from before or after I don't know anything about. So we're going to Mount Rushmore, we're going to the abandoned silos where you guys, America used to have their Minutemen missiles and all that. It's quite educational for me, actually."
On the music front, Ozzy recently completed the first North American leg of BLACK SABBATH's farewell tour, dubbed "The End".

PAUL STANLEY To NIKKI SIXX: 'Get Off Your Self-Inflated Pedestal'Paul Stanley has rushed to the defense of his KISS bandmate Gene Simmons after Nikki Sixx slammed Gene over the KISS bassist's statement that the death of Prince, allegedly from a drug overdose, was "pathetic."
Last week, Simmons received backlash from friends, family and fans after insinuating that Prince died from a drug overdose. The MÖTLEY CRÜE and SIXX:A.M. bassist also ripped Simmons on Twitter, saying his "recent heartless and uneducated remarks about Prince's death shows why he's not my hero anymore or anybody's." Sixx elaborated on his criticism of Simmons on his nationally syndicated radio show "Sixx Sense". He said: "I think that [Gene] is [an] overrated, lucky guy that dresses like a clown. [He] wrote some good songs, [but] hasn't in a long time, and loves to brag about himself."
Last night, Stanley took to his Facebook page to address Sixx's comments. He wrote: "Jesus Christ, Nikki Sixx! Would you please shut up, find another way to be in the news and get off your self-inflated pedestal?
"Regardless of some things Gene Simmons has said that I may take issue with, his influence on musicians (you included) is undeniable and will continue. More importantly, his work, generosity and monetary contributions to numerous causes and charities for those less fortunate makes your ongoing rant, in the scheme of things, the unimportant but annoying squeak it truly is.
"Move on."
Stanley's remarks prompted a quick response from Sixx, who wrote on Facebook: "Looks like good old Paul doesn't like that someone called out his buddy Gene again...I will give him a standing ovation for calling out Gene himself publicly and then trying to hold my feet to the same fire, but you can't save him. If the press wants to run with a story, they got legs and we all know they need fresh content. I have to admit calling the next KISS album 'Move On' would be a clever idea though...Love to the Starchild."
He added: "We all give to charities and support our troops etc because that the right thing to do with our success.Telling a depressed kid to kill themselves etc etc etc etc is not... So don't confuse issues."
After Simmons's original comments about Prince were first published, Stanley denounced his bandmate's "cold, clueless" statement on Twitter, saying that he was "embarrassed" by Simmons's remarks and offering his apologies.
Simmons last week took to Twitter to clarify his remarks about Prince. He explained: "I apologize — I have a long history of getting very angry at what drugs do to the families/friends of the addicts. I get angry at drug users because of my experience being around them coming up in the rock scene." 5

PAUL STANLEY To NIKKI SIXX - "Get Off Your Self Inflated Pedestal""Jesus Christ Nikki Sixx! Would you please shut up, find another way to be in the news and get off your self inflated pedestal," says KISS vocalist and guitarist Paul Stanley on his official Facebook page.
Move on."
Stanley is referring to the very public war of words that has erupted since fellow KISS bandmate Gene Simmons commented on the passing of highly respected musician Prince.
“Bowie was the most tragic of all because it was real sickness,” KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons tells Newsweek in a new interview where he discusses recently deceased musicians David Bowie - who died at 69 in January - and Prince, just 57 at the time of his death in April.
“All the other ones were a choice.” Even Prince? “His drugs killed him. What do you think, he died from, a cold?”
Simmons continues: “I think Prince was heads, hands and feet above all the rest of them. I thought he left (Michael) Jackson in the dust. Prince was way beyond that. But how pathetic that he killed himself. Don’t kid yourself, that’s what he did. Slowly, I’ll grant you... but that’s what drugs and alcohol is: a slow death.”
Former Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx weighed in on Simmons' comments on a recent installment of his syndicated radio show, Sixx Sense. Check out the audio.
Simmons' comments pissed off a legion of fans, including KISS co-founder Paul Stanley, who posted the following message on Twitter:
Embarrassed by cold clueless statements re Prince's death. Without all the facts better to say nothing. My apologies https://t.co/Arb5XQ4o7l
— Paul Stanley (@PaulStanleyLive) 10 May 2016
Simmons posted an apology online since the interview was published. It appears in its entirety below.

MOTÖRHEAD - Pro-Shot Video Of Final Show In SpainOn July 17, 2015, Motörhead performed what would be their last show in Spain. The legendary trio of Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell, and Mikkey Dee played at Resurrection Fest in Viveiro. Festival organizers have just released professionally filmed video of the band's complete 13-song set, with the sound described as "ambiance audio."
Motörhead at Resurrection Fest in Viveiro, Spain 2015 setlist:
"We Are Motörhead"
"Damage Case"
"Stay Clean"
"Metropolis"
"Over The Top" (followed by guitar solo)
"The Chase Is Better Than The Catch"
"Rock It"
"Lost Woman Blues"
"Doctor Rock" (with drum solo)
"Just 'Cos You Got The Power"
"Going To Brazil"
"Ace Of Spades"
"Overkill"
On November 20th and 21st 2015, at the Zenith in Munich, Germany, UDR Records made the decision to record - what happened to be the very last live Motörhead shows ever recorded - and Motörhead proceeded to deliver two storming sold out shows. Where there had once been almost too-fast breakneck pace, there was measured yet still thunderous rock’n’roll served up only as they could. Band leader Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister passed away just over a month later on December 28th, 2015 - four days after his 70th birthday - in Los Angeles from an extremely aggressive cancer. Titled Clean Your Clock, the live album will be released on May 27th.
Check out video of the Bad Magic song “When The Sky Comes Looking For You” below:
Clean Your Clock will be available in the following formats:
* Coloured Double Vinyl in Gatefold with Pop-up Art
* Standalone Audio CD
* DVD of the show with audio CD
* BluRay of the show with audio CD
* Boxset which contains the Coloured Double Vinyl in Gatefold with Pop-Up Art (incl. Download Card), DVD of the show with audio CD in Mini-Gatefold with Pop-Up Art, Blu-ray of the show and the Motörhead Metal Pin
* A limited edition boxset will be available through the UDR shop and will contain the Motörhead Pin in Silver or Gold
They were the Kings of the Road. They lived on it. They loved it and the fans loved them!
Never was the spirit of Motörhead more alive than when they were on tour, shake, rattle and rolling audiences to within an inch of their lives thanks to that indomitable cocktail of power, purpose and head-crunching volume. In fact, after four decades of bone-pulverizing duty, Motörhead were still enjoying sold-out gigs worldwide.

We spent half our live building this legacy of songs and contact with an audience, and we can still be out there and doing it. And it's wonderful that we have Adam, because without Adam… You need an extraordinary figurehead, and we do have it in Adam. So it's a gift from God. I call him a gift from God."
Added Lambert: "And these guys play their butts off. I mean, it's pretty incredible. You're listening to riffs and fills and stuff that feel like the originals. It feels like the recordings. I get up on stage and I'm, like, 'It's like the record. It's amazing!' It's unbelievable. Their skill and their talent is undeniable."
QUEEN drummer Roger Taylor added: "I didn't even think we'd ever get to this age. You don't think about it. I'm still kind of 35 inside."
Continued May: "Like Roger, I'm surprised that we're still doing it now. I didn't think I would be around. I'm getting close to 70 now. It's quite something to be running around on a stage with [Adam], who is a young boy full of youthful energy and stuff. But I love it. I'm thrilled that we can still do this. How amazing! And it still makes people happy."
Lambert, May and Taylor first shared the stage during "American Idol" in May 2009 for a performance of "We Are The Champions". They teamed up again in 2011 at the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast, Ireland for an electrifying eight-minute finale of "The Show Must Go On", "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" and in the summer of 2012, Lambert performed a series of shows with QUEEN across Europe as well as dates in Russia, Ukraine and Poland. They also performed three sold-out gigs at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
After completing QUEEN's European tour in January 2015, May described Lambert as the only singer the band had found capable of filling Freddie Mercury's shoes. "Adam is the first person we've encountered who can do all the QUEEN catalogue without blinking," said May.
Lambert, for his part, downplayed the Mercury comparisons, saying: "There's never going to be another, and I'm not replacing him. That's not what I'm doing. I'm trying to keep the memory alive, and remind people how amazing he was, without imitating him. I'm trying to share with the audience how much he inspired me."
Lambert released his third studio album, "The Original High", last June through Warner Bros. 6

JERRY ONLY Talks GLENN DANZIG's Return To MISFITS: 'We Were Never Not Friends'MISFITS bassist Jerry Only spoke to Rolling Stone about the band's reunion with vocalist Glenn Danzig and guitarist Doyle for an appearance at this year's Riot Fest, which will take place in Denver and Chicago this fall.
"We were never not friends," Only said. "We were just adversaries. Larry Bird might not have liked Michael Jordan on the court, but when they go out to a bar they're cool."
According to Only, the reunion came about after a meeting he had with Danzig in January. The pair had gotten together with the MISFITS management in order to discuss the rights to the band's name and merchandising with a view towards avoiding any further litigation between the parties. "We went in there wanting to cut each other's throats," Only said. "It was turning into another court battle and it turned into a reunion. We walked out the door knowing we were going to play together. It's a very cool thing."
Jerry, who had said in 2014 that he would consider reuniting MISFITS' original lineup on condition that Danzig left all "that dark, that real black stuff" "at home" and focused on being a "positive influence" to MISFITS' fans, was full of praise for Glenn in the Rolling Stone interview. He said: "The man has vision. Where we go from here, let's make sure we get along first. 'Cause we're doing well both on our own. If we do it and it don't work, fuck it — we did it, man. But that's not the case… I think we're going to get out there and back it up. And we're going to be the best band ever. That's my guess. It's going to be fun."
Only also talked about a possible setlist for the upcoming shows, explaining: "I wouldn't have done it unless I thought Glenn was really about it. I said, 'Look, I know every song, so you pick the songs and you pick the set. That way you got the best shot of giving your best show.' And we sat down and that happened pretty quick. We went through all the songs. We got 'Halloween', 'Die Die My Darling', no doubt, 'Last Caress', boom boom boom. We picked out the songs and we came up with about 30 songs. We're still messing around with the order."

FATES WARNING Taps Guitarist MIKE ABDOW For Upcoming ShowsU.S. progressive metal pioneers FATES WARNING will release their much-anticipated 12th studio album, "Theories Of Flight", on July 1 via InsideOut Music. The cover artwork for the CD was created by Michigan artist Graceann Warn.
Performed by the FATES WARNING lineup that returned to form with 2013's acclaimed "Darkness In A Different Light" release, "Theories Of Flight" was produced by guitarist Jim Matheos and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (OPETH, SYMPHONY X).
Guitarist Frank Aresti contributed a couple solos on the new record, but due to his current work commitments, he will not be able to tour with FATES WARNING for the foreseeable future. FATES WARNING guitarist and main composer Jim Matheos states; "[Frank] remains part of the extended FATES WARNING family and the door is always open for him to return anytime his schedule permits."
Adds Frank: "I absolutely love 'Theories Of Flight', and I'm proud to be a part of it. I'll continue to do as much as I can, as often as I can, with the band. Meantime, they're in good hands with Mike Abdow, a great guitarist and a great guy. I wish them the best of luck, and look forward to sitting in on a song (or two)."
"Theories Of Flight" track listing:
CD 1
01. From The Rooftops (6:52)02. Seven Stars (5:33)03. SOS (4:34)04. The Light And Shade Of Things (10:14)05. White Flag (5:20)06. Like Stars Our Eyes Have Seen (5:13)07. The Ghosts Of Home (10:31)08. Theories of Flight (4:00)
CD 2 (Acoustic Bonus Disc):
01. Firefly (3:15)02. Seven Stars (4:25)03. Another Perfect Day (3:25)04. Pray Your Gods (TOAD THE WET SPROCKET cover) (3:45) 05. Adela (JOAQUIN RODRIGO cover) (2:25) 06. Rain (URIAH HEEP cover) (4:03)
Matheos had this to say about the title and the artwork for the "Theories Of Flight" album: “The working title for the album was 'The Ghosts Of Home' and the song with that name was first called 'Home Again'. When I started searching for artwork, I came across the piece that's now the cover and it was called 'Theories Of Flight'. In fact, the title you see on the cover is part of the original art, not something we added. There's a loose theme running through a lot of the lyrics, and this developed organically and separately, where Ray [Alder, vocals] and I are often writing about various uprooting, escapes….flights. So I was immediately drawn to that phrase as being a better description of what some of the songs are about."

Former IRON MAIDEN Singer PAUL DI'ANNO Hospitalized; Brazilian Tour CanceledFormer IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di'Anno has reportedly been hospitalized for an undisclosed medical issue and has been forced to cancel his previously announced June 2016 tour of Brazil. According to the tour's promoter, Blog n Roll Produções, Di'Anno is undergoing a series of tests to help ensure an accurate diagnosis and identify an appropriate course of treatment.
Di'Anno has reportedly had several motorcycle accidents over the years, requiring a knee replacement operation on both knees. As a result, Di'Anno was forced to sit down while performing at his recent shows. He told Argentina's CM TV last August: "I think the fans don't give a shit to see me; they just wanna hear me sing. So maybe six months I have to do this before the [knee] operation. I still wanna play, so I sit down and sing."
More than a year ago, Di'Anno spoke in more detail about the condition of his knee which is making it impossible for him to stand up and perform. He said: "I don't wanna swear… [Laughs] but it's fucked. It's actually fucked. Because this has been [going on for] seven years. I should have done this seven years ago. And now all the ligament is gone and all it basically is is bone rubbing against bone. And, oh my God, it's so painful some days, it's unbelievable. And through my mother, I caught osteoporosis [a progressive bone disease in which the bone density reduces over years] as well. When you get to a certain age. And [I can't be] buggered with that. [I'm like], sod this; I can't be dealing with it. So [fixing] the knee will make it a lot better."
Di'Anno added: "I can't take it anymore. And it will be so nice to be pain-free [after] seven years."
Di'Anno recorded two classic albums with IRON MAIDEN before being replaced by Bruce Dickinson. He went on to front a number of other bands, including KILLERS and BATTLEZONE, and released several solo records.
ARCHITECTS OF CHAOZ, the new band featuring Di'Anno alongside members of Paul's longtime German touring backing group THE PHANTOMZ, released its debut album, "The League Of Shadows", in North America last July via Metalville Records. 11

JAMES HETFIELD Performs Acoustic Version Of METALLICA's 'Motorbreath' At At 'Acoustic-4-A-Cure' ConcertMETALLICA frontman James Hetfield and ex-VAN HALEN singer Sammy Hagar held their Acoustic-4-A-Cure concert on Sunday night (May 15) at The Fillmore in San Francisco. The event saw Hetfield perform an acoustic version of "Motorbreath", a song that first appeared on METALLICA's 1983 album "Kill 'Em All", as well as METALLICA's "The Unforgiven" and a cover of the Screamin' Jay Hawkins classic "I Put a Spell on You".
The third annual "Acoustic-4-A-Cure" concert benefiting the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital also featured appearances by Joe Satriani, Melissa Etheridge, John Mayer, TRAIN frontman Pat Monahan, Vic Johnson and Kris Kristofferson.
Lucky attendees who were able to snag a VIP ticket, for 500 bucks, got the chance to meet the artists and scored a gift bag, among other perks.
"Acoustic-4-A-Cure" was created by Bay Area rock legends Hagar and Hetfield, whose vision was to raise needed funds and awareness for the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF by bringing together some of their legendary friends and throwing a must-see concert for fans. In past years, artists including Billie Joe Armstrong, Jerry Cantrell, Pat Monahan, Linda Perry, Chad Smith, Adam Sandler, Joe Satriani, Nancy Wilson, and more have joined Hagar and Hetfield to rock the sold-out benefit concerts.
"If you write a check, it's fine, but you don't feel anything. I prefer to donate my time," Hagar told SF Gate. "You go there, and you play music, and your fans pay to see you. You take the money, and you give it to this thing. There's no silent auction. We're not going to show you pictures of babies dying. We're not going to have doctors up there giving you these big long speeches that bum you out. It's a fucking concert. Just come and enjoy the show." Rolling Stone said Acoustic-4-A-Cure "delivered on its promise of once-in-a-lifetime musical moments, duets, jams and surprise guests" and The San Francisco Chronicle stated, "from the moment the doors opened at the venue... more than anything else it felt like a great big party among friends." 4

DECEPTIONIST Stream New Song "Quest For Identity"Initializing Irreversible Process is the new album from Rome, Italy's Deceptionist. Set for release via Unique Leader Records on June 17th, Initializing Irreversible Process was captured with Giuseppe Orlando at Outersound Studios, and finds the devout death metal collective pushing their talents and ingenuity forward in both speed and technicality while simultaneously remaining loyal to root elements: groove, brutality and catchiness. Their use of sampling blends seamlessly with harsh guitar riffs, the lyrical content dealing with the relationship between humans and machines in a not-too-distant future world where men and women will live only to serve artificial masters.
In advance of next month's release of Initializing Irreversible Process, Deceptionist is currently streaming first single "Quest For Identity", via the YouTube clip below.
Initializing Irreversible Process features the talents of bassist Stefano Franceschini and guest vocalist Enrico H. Di Lorenzo on "Through The Veil", both members of labelmates Hideous Divinity as well as the striking covering renderings of Pär Olofsson (Abysmal Dawn, Cult Of Luna, Deeds Of Flesh, Exodus).
Tracklisting:
“It’s Just Begun”

“When Humans Began To Be Machines”

Female-Fronted Thrashers X-TINXION To Release From The Ashes Of Eden Album In June; “Severed From Heaven” Promo Video StreamingJune 10th marks the birth of X-Tinxion’s first full-length album, entitled From The Ashes Of Eden, showing the band's full potential.
The main story of the album revolves around the transcendence of humanity. It deals with the human tendency to destruct while searching to better itself, particularly the tracks “Amalgamation” and “In Progress”, the first and last track on the album. It shows the dark side of the human psyche, of its religions and science. It is about inner conflict and the fear of death. However, this pessimistic view on mankind is alleviated by a sense of humor that also shows the touching naivety of the human race. Like a deity looking over its flock, the lyrics try to show the listener what happens after the loss of innocence. And it gives us new hope to see the loss of innocence as an opportunity to learn and rise From The Ashes Of Eden.
Tracklisting:
“Amalgamation”
“Survivors Of Hell”
“Severed From Heaven”
“Genetic Sickness”
“Uniformity”
“Eden”
“Narrow Path”
“Civilised”
“Destruct & Reanimate”
“The Divine”
“In Progress”
“Severed From Heaven” video:
The release will be supported by an album release show on June 12th at the Bibelot in Dordrecht. X-Tinxion will also perform a number of shows this year, stay tuned for updates.
