To coincide with today’s album release date, Danish progressive black metal enigma, (0), has just released their newest single, “Sortfugl”, accompanied by a music video inspired by overcoming isolation. The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the music scene and artists around the world, so (0) was inspired to send a message to all who are united by the same circumstances with their new video.
Heavy riffs and dark shimmering melodies pull the listener straight into the signature (0) atmosphere. Brightened by sanguine interludes, dark growls paired with infernal drumming lead into exhilarating spheres. The third single integrates itself perfectly in (0)’s newly released first full length album SkamHan, shivering between oppression and nothingness.
The band states: “The album SkamHan is for us the natural sequel to the (0) EP which came out almost 3 years ago. We have been looking forward to releasing the album and although it does happen in circumstances we could never have imagined in any way, we are happy to share the music with you. We do so in the humble awareness that the world faces a huge challenge and that large parts of humanity are exposed to conditions that we unfortunately do not know the final consequences of. But one of the things that binds us together is music. SkamHan deals with issues such as depression, desperation, isolation, separation and shame. Occasionally one has to dig into the darkness and accept that life is also dark. Enjoy the darkness! With many greetings and hope for all good."
SkamHan is available in the following formats:
- CD Digipak
- Gatefold Black Vinyl
- Digital Album

As most of the globe adjusts to the new reality of life under self-quarantine in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, a number of artists have taken the show online to share some musical joy during these trying times. One of the latest acts to look for a new, temporary way to bond with fans until a return to normal is the Maryland outfit CLUTCH, which livestreamed another three-song set from its rehearsal space on Thursday (April 23).
The 16-minute video, consisting of the tracks "Noble Savage", "The Face" and "Earth Rocker", can be seen below.

6:20 The Face
11:15 Earth Rocker
Frontman Neil Fallon confirmed to Sonic Perspectives that CLUTCH has commenced the songwriting process for the follow-up to 2018's "Book Of Bad Decisions" album.
CLUTCH recently released "Monsters, Machines, And Mythological Beasts", a themed digital-only compilation of songs from the band's vast catalog. The various tracks were taken from "Robot Hive/Exodus", "Book Of Bad Decisions", "Pitchfork & Lost Needles", "Earth Rocker", "Strange Cousins From The West", "Live At The 9:30", "Psychic Warfare" and "Jam Room". CLUTCH also issued several songs as part of the "Weathermaker Vault Series", including a reworked version of "Spacegrass", renditions of the Willie Dixon 1950s classic "Evil" (later recorded by CACTUS), ZZ TOP's "Precious And Grace" and CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL's "Fortunate Son", as well as a new version of "Electric Worry".
"Book Of Bad Decisions" came out in September 2018. The record sold 26,000 copies in America during its first week of availability, giving the group its third consecutive Top 20 album on the Billboard 200.
"Book Of Bad Decisions" was recorded at Sputnik Sound studio in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Vance Powell.
German heavy metal legends Scorpions continue to roll out the retro footage, this time of "Can't Get Enough" from the Lovedrive album, live at Tokyo’s Sun Plaza Hall in 1979.
Scorpions will be taking over the Las Vegas Strip later this year with their exclusive headlining residency show. Promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, Scorpions “Sin City Nights” kicks off Saturday, July 4 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Scorpions will be joined by special guests Queensrÿche.
“We are very excited to come back to Vegas in July 2020 for a nine show residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Zappos Theater,” said Klaus Meine. “We’re looking very much forward to share some wild ‘Sin City Nights’ with all of you on the famous Strip … Let’s get ready for the Sting!!!!”
Legendary rock band BLUE ÖYSTER CULT has recorded a "lockdown" version of its classic song "Godzilla".
The special performance of the track — which originally appeared on 1977's "Spectres" album — was recorded from each member's respective home and shared by BLUE ÖYSTER CULT on the band's official YouTube channel.
In a statement accompanying the release of the song, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT wrote: "So while 'ON TOUR FOREVER' is temporarily on hold we took a short break from working on our next album to record this from everyone's home studio. Hope we can get back on the road and see you all soon. Meanwhile, stay safe & ENJOY!"
Last year, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT signed with Frontiers Music Srl for the release of the band's next studio album.
With a history spanning almost five decades, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT has a long history of success. They've sold more than 24 million records worldwide, including seven million in the United States alone. Songs like "Burnin' For You", "Godzilla", "Astronomy" and "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" are true classics and staples of the classic rock genre. Often cited as a major influence by some of the biggest names in hard rock and heavy metal (including IRON MAIDEN and METALLICA), BLUE ÖYSTER CULT's sound has evolved through the decades, touching hard rock, heavy metal, progressive, and psychedelic rock. BLUE ÖYSTER CULT is sometimes referred to as "the thinking man's heavy metal band," due to its often cryptic lyrics, literate songwriting, and links to famous authors.
The intense creative vision of BÖC's original core duo of vocalist/lead guitarist Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser and vocalist/rhythm guitarist Eric Bloom are complemented by Richie Castellano on guitar and keyboards, and the longtime rhythm section of bass guitarist Danny Miranda, and drummer Jules Radino.
EVANESCENCE will release its first album of new original music in nine years, "The Bitter Truth" (BMG), over the course of this year, beginning with the first song and video, "Wasted On You".
The video for "Wasted On You", which will premiere later today, was shot by each band member — lead singer-songwriter and pianist Amy Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist Troy McLawhorn, and guitarist Jen Majura — on their iPhones while currently in isolation. Building on the piercing intensity for which the band is known, the intimately shot video (directed by P.R. Brown in collaboration with the band) breaks through the emotional stillness and numbness of the current time to reflect the internal highs and lows that each of us cycles through now, on a daily basis.
Perfectly encapsulating the current moods of disconnection from the world, lack of control, and purposelessness felt by so many, the video finds the band members alone at their homes and with their families, biding time and trying to create in a world and for an audience that seems smaller than ever. Paired with Amy Lee's stunning vocals and the band's signature pure-rock sound, the song's central refrain is shockingly timely and universal:
I don't need drugs
I'm already six feet low
Wasted on you
Waiting for a miracle
I can't move on
Feels like we're frozen in time
I'm wasted on you
Just pass me the Bitter Truth
As Amy explains: "We were recording this music right up until we couldn't go into the studio anymore, and finished it remotely through file sharing and phone calls. Tweaking mixes, adding background vocals, creating the video and album art all from home has been like water in the desert for me, my light in a dark time. We are still writing and have a lot more work to do on this album, but this time we wanted to release the songs individually, as we create, to live more in the moment with our fans and our music.
"'Wasted On You' wasn't the song we were planning to release first, but when the whole world went into indefinite lockdown and everything changed, so did the feeling and meaning of what we wanted to say right now. I didn't write these lyrics about what we're all now going through, but somehow that's exactly what they are.
"The whole video was shot by the band and our families on our iPhones, in isolation in our homes many miles apart, then edited together by Paul Brown. We can't be together to make a video right now, but we took that and used it to tell the story of our real lives in this moment, and to show that although we are apart, we are all still connected.
"As far as business is concerned, this is considered a terrible time to release. But we believe that people need music now more than ever. We do, and we're not going to wait to share it because who knows what tomorrow brings. Who knows if it even comes? This is who we really are and we're calling out across the world for a connection.
"One thing that has come from this crazy time is it's stripped away the illusion of control — from all of us. Proof that we really don't have any when it comes down to it. A big new theme in the new music so far is disillusionment. Growing up and realizing life can be so hard, nobody's gonna come rescue you, and fairy tales aren't real — BUT, standing up and saying I'll take the truth rather than live in denial. Rising up, through the ashes of death and pain and everything just rising up even though it hurts and taking it to move forward. No more lies. The bitter truth is all that impossibly hard stuff. And I'm taking it. Choosing to live.”
Director P.R. Brown adds: "It's a time where nothing makes sense and we are all forced to see a reality we don't want to believe exists. It was clear that we all collectively needed to create something, we needed to say something.
"After we started looking at the footage it was clear that the band members were each going through similar things. I started building an edit and seeing those scenarios play out over and over again and linked them together to tell their stories.
"The band inspired me and is helping me through all of the madness around us through their vulnerability and creative grace. The hope is that it helps others get through it as well and see that there is a light at the end, even if it's dark outside.”
"The Bitter Truth" takes its foundation in the epic, signature sound that has earned EVANESCENCE two Grammy awards and more than 23 million album sales worldwide beginning with their landmark debut "Fallen", and blends it with the thought-provoking lyrics, musical sophistication, and heavy themes that Amy Lee has become known for. Producer Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH, DEFTONES) has been tracking with the band in Nashville since late January. In a break from the past, the band will be rolling out a series of songs from the album incrementally, culminating in the release of the full album. Later this year, the band plans to tour through Europe on the rescheduled co-headline tour with WITHIN TEMPTATION originally scheduled for this month. Conditions permitting, the band will also continue to perform shows in other parts of the world as well.
THE ROLLING STONES have released a brand-new song called "Living In A Ghost Town". The track is the group's first original composition since "Doom and Gloom" and "One More Shot" were made available on THE ROLLING STONES' 2012 compilation album "GRRR!"
Singer Mick Jagger said the band was "recording some new material before the lockdown and there was one song we thought would resonate through the times that we're living in right now. We've worked on it in isolation. And here it is."
Guitarist Keith Richards said: "We cut this track well over a year ago in L.A. for a new album, an ongoing thing, and then shit hit the fan. Mick and I decided this one really needed to go to work right now and so here you have it."
In a new interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, Jagger said the song "was written about being in a place which was full of life but is now bereft of life, so to speak… I was just jamming on the guitar and wrote it really quickly in like 10 minutes… Keith Richards and I both had the idea that we should release it. But I said, 'Well I've got to rewrite it.' Some of it is not going to work and some of it was a bit weird and a bit too dark. So I slightly rewrote it. I didn't have to rewrite very much, to be honest. It's very much how I originally did it."
THE ROLLING STONES released an album of blues covers, "Blue & Lonesome", in 2016, and another hits compilation, "Honk", in 2019. The band's last album of original material was 2005's "A Bigger Bang".
"I don't just want it to be a good album; I want it to be great," Jagger said. "I'm very hard on myself. If I write something or if I write something with Keith Richards or whatever, it's going to be great. It can't just be good."
Jagger also addressed the postponement of THE ROLLING STONES' 2020 stadium tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is sweeping the globe.
"We don't know when the next tour outside's going to be," Jagger told Lowe. "You would imagine that playing outside would be more healthy than playing inside, one would imagine, but you don't know. And people are saying, 'Well are you going to be playing in a stadium that’s 40,000 people? You're going to have 20,000 people in there,' for instance. But this is all in the realm of conjecture."
THE OFFSPRING has jumped on the "Tiger King" bandwagon by recording a cover version of THE CLINTON JOHNSON BAND's "Here Kitty Kitty", a song made popular by Joe Schreibvogel — better known as Joe Exotic, the "Tiger King" — through the Netflix docuseries.
The official music video accompanying the California rockers' rendition sees singer Dexter Holland and guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman abiding by social distancing regulations while sporting facial masks. They are accompanied on drums by someone wearing a tiger costume while a couple of "feline" friends keep things light for the band's fans.
Speaking of THE OFFSPRING's decision to cover the song, the group said: "Hey, Guys! Like many of you, we are going a little stir crazy these days and we wanted to do something fun to put a smile on our faces, and hopefully on some of yours too. This song, Here Kitty Kitty, was originally by THE CLINTON JOHNSON BAND, and *not* by anyone in that recent documentary we all got caught up in.
"THE OFFSPRING wives were group texting recently, and while they all agreed that they truly love their husbands, there are times when they’ve absolutely felt like feeding us to the tigers. In that spirit, we hope you enjoy this random song & video."
THE OFFSPRING recently completed work on its long-awaited tenth album. The follow-up to 2012's "Days Go By" was once again produced by Bob Rock, who also worked on the band's last two LPs.
We are going a little stir crazy these days & wanted to do something fun to put a smile on our faces & hopefully on some of yours too. The BBC has brought together some of the biggest and most respected artists from the U.K. and around the world for the most ambitious "Live Lounge" in its history, in support of the global effort to stay safe and stay home during the coronavirus crisis.
Released today (Thursday, April 23), the "Stay Home Live Lounge" sees some of the music industry's biggest stars — including FOO FIGHTERS' Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins, as well as members of BIFFY CLYRO and ROYAL BLOOD — collaborating on a cover of FOO FIGHTERS' "Times Like These" to raise money for charities, with the accompanying video receiving its world exclusive premiere during BBC One's "The Big Night In".
The "Stay Home Live Lounge" was recorded and filmed by artists from their own homes, and produced by Grammy- and Ivor Novello award-winning producer Fraser T. Smith. Smith is renowned for his work with Stormzy, Adele, Dave and many more, and counts seven U.K. No. 1 singles and 18 No. 1 albums among his achievements.
The "Stay Home Live Lounge" was broadcast for the first time across Radio 1, Radio 2, 1Xtra, 6Music and Asian Network on Thursday, as well as on demand on BBC Sounds. The accompanying video will be broadcast during "The Big Night In" on BBC One that evening and will be available to watch later on Radio 1's iPlayer and YouTube channels.
The BBC has also released the song as a single, with U.K. net profits to be combined with any funds raised by "The Big Night In". These funds will be split equally between BBC Children In Need and Comic Relief to provide essential support to vulnerable people of all ages and backgrounds across the U.K. who will be significantly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. International net profits will go towards the WHO's COVID-19-Solidarity Response Fund.
BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" has long been an unmissable destination for artists, providing a globally recognised platform for intimate live performances and striking creativity. The format allows music fans to see and hear their favorite artists perform stripped-back renditions of their biggest tracks, as well as exclusive covers.
Dua Lipa says: "I am so proud that we've been able to come together to record this track and I can't wait for everyone to hear it. Thinking of everyone around the world at this difficult time. Love you all."
Ellie Goulding says: "I'm honored to join such a great line up for the 'Times Like These: BBC Radio 1 Stay Home Live Lounge' special. More so than ever it's important to remember the valuable role we each have to play in bringing hope, courage and strength to one another. I hope that this track brings comfort at such a difficult time.”
Fraser T Smith says: "It's humbling to have been asked to produce this amazing single, taking the FOO FIGHTERS' classic 'Times Like These' with the Radio 1 'Live Lounge' team and the incredible collective of artists who have come together to record whilst in isolation. Our vision was to create a stay at home version using phones, pots, pans and acoustic guitars that would honor the brilliance and honesty of the artists and song, rather than the trickery of an expensive recording studio. We tried to make this single in a totally different way artistically, relevant to today. The lyrics particularly resonate with us all at this challenging time, and I sincerely hope that money raised can help the plight of the unified battle against COVID-19 around the world."
Clara Amfo says: "The 'Live Lounge' is so beloved by Radio 1's listeners and I'm so pleased that it's used in a way to lift people's moods and raise money for those impacted by COVID-19. Music is a gift and we're so grateful to FOO FIGHTERS for this song and to all the artists for their involvement and interpretations. Download to help, sing along and stay safe."
Chris Price, head of music for Radio 1, says: "Thank you to Fraser T Smith, FOO FIGHTERS and every single artist who threw their energies into this extraordinary collaboration. 'Times Like These: BBC Radio 1 Stay Home Live Lounge' sends a simple message to the world — that the power of music and human creativity can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles to build a sense of community, togetherness and determination, even when we are forced apart."
All net profits from sales or downloads of the single within the U.K. will be donated to two charities. 50% of donations will be paid to Comic Relief which is the trading name of Charity Projects (registered charity in England and Wales, charity number 326568 and in Scotland, charity number SC039730) and 50% of donations will be paid to BBC Children In Need (registered charity in England and Wales, charity number 802052 and in Scotland, charity number SC039557). The Big Night In Appeal is a joint initiative between Comic Relief and BBC Children In Need.
Charlie Benante (ANTHRAX), Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT) and Roberto "Ra" Diaz (SUICIDAL TENDENCIES) have shared their version of another classic RUSH song, "Freewill", recorded with each member separated in their own homes.
Benante uploaded a video of the performance to his YouTube channel, writing in an accompanying message: "Dear friends: Once again, the three of us (Alex , Ra and myself) were completely knocked out by the responses to our latest video. As if your appreciation of the music wasn't enough, it's been humbling to hear from so many of you who've let us know how much this has been helping during this difficult period of quarantine and isolation. This brings us to the following conclusion: 'We can't stop now, can we?'
"Here is our follow up: 'Freewill'. 'Freewill' is about thinking for yourself, accepting difficult truths and avoiding superstition, magical thinking and herd mentality (most pertinent during these times). We now have a @rush trilogy. When we 'made a choice' (as the song says) to take on this tune, we had a new challenge on our hands: Our previous two ('YYZ' and 'La Villa Strangiato') are both instrumental and doing this one would require a vocalist who is up to the task (sadly that excludes the three of us). Fortunately, we know just the guy. On vocals, we proudly present Brandon Yeagley @brandoncrobot of @crobotband
"In addition to Neil Peart (the great RUSH drummer and composer of these lyrics, whom we lost in January), this song is dedicated to John Horton Conway, genius mathematician who recently left us due to Covid-19, whose influence extended beyond mathematical circles, including artists (such as musician/producer Brian Eno), software developers, game makers etc and whose achievements include a personal favorite entitled 'Free Will Theorem'.
"Special thanks to @blechugag for assisting with this audio mix and once again, @pieromedone who makes the video magic happen.
"Enjoy!"
Peart died on January 7 in Santa Monica, California after a three-year battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. The iconic RUSH drummer was 67 years old.
Skolnick told "The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show" about Peart's passing: "It just came out of nowhere. I never knew him personally. Those who knew him personally knew for a while [that he was sick], so it wasn't that much of a shock, although, I tell you, how could it not be a shock?
"I had just recently started listening to RUSH more and intensely — more focused on the drums," he continued. "It was strange — I had this extra urge to airdrum. And then this happened.
"I'm just grateful for the music. I'm grateful I got to see them on the 'Clockwork Angels' tour. I had seen them only once before — back in high school. When I saw them, they were just in full form. And you would never know.
"I'm just thankful for the music and for him," Skolnick added. "What an amazing person, lyricist, thinker. A big inspiration. For those of us that don't always fit in, he's a huge inspiration — not just to drummers."
RUSH announced Peart's passing on January 10, setting off shockwaves and an outpouring of grief from fans and musicians all over the world.
RUSH's final show took place at the Forum in Los Angeles on August 1, 2015. Peart indicated at the time that he wanted to retire while he was still able to play well, along with a desire to spend more time at home with his young daughter.
Peart joined RUSH in 1974. He was considered one of the best rock drummers of all time, alongside John Bonham of LED ZEPPELIN; Keith Moon of THE WHO; and Ginger Baker of CREAM. Peart was also RUSH's primary lyricist, drawing inspiration from everything from sci-fi to Ayn Rand.
Jon Bon Jovi performed a new song called "Do What You Can" during last night's (April 22) "Jersey 4 Jersey", a star-studded one-night benefit show on behalf of the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (NJPRF) to fight the medical, social and economic impact of COVID-19 on New Jersey's most vulnerable communities. Check out video of his performance below. Also scheduled to perform during the fundraiser were some of New Jersey's biggest celebrities, including Tony Bennett, Halsey and Bruce Springsteen.
Jon said that he wrote "Do What You Can" "about the situation that we're in," referring to the coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the world.
All online proceeds received from "Jersey 4 Jersey" go directly to the NJPRF and help in the battle against the pandemic's impact on New Jersey.
More than 2.6 million coronavirus cases have been reported worldwide and more than 184,000 deaths so far, putting public health systems and emergency services under immense pressure.
As previously reported, BON JOVI's new album, "Bon Jovi: 2020", which was originally set for a May 15 release, has now been delayed until the fall. The band's U.S. tour in support of the LP, which was scheduled to launch in June, has been canceled.
"Bon Jovi 2020" makes a wry reference to an election year with the title, and album art featuring an American flag in the reflection of a pensive Jon Bon Jovi's sunglasses.
Jon previously said about the album's title: "The meaning behind it — there's the obvious. It's an election year, and I couldn't do any worse. And I also have clear vision. 'This House Is Not For Sale' dealt with a lot of personal matters, and now it's behind us. So, '2020' — of course, it's an election year, but more importantly, it's that I have clear vision going forward."

Ulterium Records presents a new 2020 quarantine studio video for "Collide & Spark", the first Project Aegis charity song from 2013.
"Collide & Spark" is an all-star charity track for sale with 100% of the income going to The Bridge Bunch, an organization dedicated to serving the homeless population of Nashville, TN, in the United States.
The song was composed by Theocracy vocalist and songwriter Matt Smith. It features vocals by Nils K. Rue (Pagan's Mind), Henrik Båth (Darkwater), Elin Redin (End of September) and Smith, as well as a guitar solo by Markus Sigfridsson (Darkwater, Harmony, All Things Fallen).
Matt says: "After the success of ‘Angel In The Ashes’ and ‘And The Rest Is Mystery', I thought it was too bad we didn't have a similar video for ‘Collide & Spark’ - especially after we saw that several people thought there were only two Project Aegis songs. Then, with everyone being sequestered at home, I thought, ‘Well, why don’t we just do a video now?’ Thankfully Nils, Henrik, Elin and Markus were on board. Enjoy, and please help us spread it around - remember, every cent from the sale of this song goes to feed Nashville's homeless via The Bridge Bunch, and given the recent tornado damage and now the pandemic, they could really use the help. Stay safe out there, and God bless!"
Enterprise Earth guitarist Gabriel Mangold has unveiled stunning acoustic renditions of "Metal Prolapse" from Bay Area deathcore titans Rings Of Saturn and "Erase Me" from Australian metal unit Make Them Suffer. Each track is beautifully captured on film in various locales of New Mexico.
Mangold elaborates, "The Rings Of Saturn video was shot in Taos, New Mexico at Hotel Luna Mystica. It's a vintage trailer hotel and campground that I currently work at and reside with my tiny home trailer. The Make Them Suffer video was filmed in the Carson National Forest in Tres Piedras, New Mexico which is about forty-five minutes northwest of Taos. Northern New Mexico is extensively beautiful and I'm fortunate to be living here once again. Having resided in Taos on two separate occasions, I'm familiar with the area and felt that these locations would be perfect for each video, respectively.
"The Ring's song," he continues, "was a result of being on back to back tours with them and not being able to get the extremely catchy chorus melody from 'Mental Prolapse' out of my head. Make Them Suffer had also just released that killer track and the melodies and lyrics seemed to suit themselves very well for an acoustic rendition. Both of these bands are also my good friends so I'm sure that had something to do with my decisions as well! Both songs also have great melodies which make translating to acoustic quite enjoyable."
Enterprise Earth recently released a video for "Scars Of The Past". The punishing track comes by way of the band's Luciferous full-length, released last spring via Entertainment One (eOne) / Good Fight Music.
Comments the band, "'Scars Of The Past' is reflection. The pain of our past mistakes, haunting with a shadow of fear that the pain animates across the bare walls of the present moment. The meaning it holds is an anthem to recovery. Letting go of the pain and recognizing that the pain we experienced is what made us stronger. It's a part of who we are. This video was taken at a sold-out show in Atlanta, Georgia. It was able to capture what the song and metal as a whole stands for. Letting go of the past and living life to the fullest in the present moment. If we could turn back time, we would do it again."

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has launched the third episode of its "Quarantine Theater 2020" series. Taking inspiration from "Mystery Science Theater 3000", it features frontman Ivan Moody, guitarist Zoltan Bathory and bassist Chris Kael offering commentary on the band's past music videos.
The latest episode in the series focuses on the video for "The Bleeding", which originally appeared on FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's debut album, 2007's "The Way Of The Fist".
New "Quarantine Theater 2020" episodes will follow every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
According to the band, "Quarantine Theater 2020" will consist of "tell-all, behind the scenes, never before told stories of the making and meaning of 5FDP's music videos."
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's latest album, "F8", was released on February 28. The follow-up to 2018's "And Justice For None" caps a turbulent period for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH in which Moody finally got sober after a near-fatal struggle with addiction, while co-founding drummer Jeremy Spencer bowed out of the band due to physical issues.
Much of "F8"'s lyrical content deals with Moody's battle with addiction, its aftermath and his recovery. The singer celebrated two years of sobriety last month.
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's spring tour with PAPA ROACH, I PREVAIL and ICE NINE KILLS has been postponed and rescheduled for the fall. The trek was originally due to run from April 8 to May 20, but will now kick off on September 28 in Sunrise, Florida.
Guitar World has uploaded a new episode of Sick Riffs. The newest episode features Cinderella’s Tom Keifer teaching how to play the simple, but effective riff to the track “Hype”; taken from his new solo band Rise. The riff is entirely played on the low E string. Keifer uses a 2014 Black Gibson Les Paul Custom running through a Yamaha THR10.
Tom Keifer (Cinderella, #keiferband) has released a #EndCovid19 version of "Rise", the title track of his sophomore solo album. The video for the song, created by Joshua Smith, can be seen below.
