THE PROFESSIONALS' music video for the song "Rewind" can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's new album, "What In The World", which will be released on October 27 via Automaton Records.
Thirty-five years later, the band formed from the ashes of the SEX PISTOLS by Paul Cook and Steve Jones is back.
Revitalized, re-energized and reinvigorated, THE PROFESSIONALS' new disc bristles with conviction and finds the band on electrifying form, delivering some of the most ballsy, honest and downright brilliant songs of their career.
"We're not breaking any musical boundaries — we're doing what we do best. From the heart with energy and integrity," said the band.
Paul Cook and Paul Myers were reunited on stage touring with Vic Godard's SUBWAY SECT. There the idea sprang to revisit THE PROFESSIONALS. New frontman and guitar player Tom Spencer was invited to come to rehearsals, to sing and play guitar while Steve Jones was being lured back to the U.K. to join. As it became obvious Steve wouldn't be heading over, and with rehearsals feeling better and better, the new lineup was born.
THE PROFESSIONALS are also joined by a stellar cast of guest guitar players, including Jones (who plays on three tracks). Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES), Mick Jones (THE CLASH), Phil Collen (DEF LEPPARD), Marco Pirroni (ADAM & THE ANTS), Chris McCormack (3 COLOURS RED) and Billy Duffy (THE CULT) also join the party.
"In the studio, we put the songs down as a three-piece, but what was needed was a second guitarist's mind, to come from another angle," THE PROFESSIONALS said. "Cookie dusted off his punk rock address book and made a few calls. All the guests added their own unique magic."
This energetic album features ten finely crafted songs, full of rock 'n' roll attitude — including a tribute to Lemmy and David Bowie, "Going, Going, Gone" — before closing with the Darwinian pop at world leaders, "Monkeys".
All the basic tracks were put down at Zak Starkey's studio, just outside London, and were finished at Tower Studios in Pershore. The guests recorded in various studios, both in the U.K. and the U.S.
"What In The World" was produced by Dave Draper with Paul Cook and Tom Spencer there to co-produce. The album is an aural treat, with no calculated image or reliance on nostalgia.
To celebrate the release of "What In The World", THE PROFESSIONALS will play a special headline show at London's Garage on October 28.
"We've been adding a new track or two to live shows but can't wait to try some of the other new songs," THE PROFESSIONALS said. "We're buzzing about the album, and can't wait to spread the buzz. Of course there'll be old stuff played too. We don't cover PISTOLS stuff (apart from 'Silly Thing') but as the gig's forty years to the day from 'Nevermind The Bollocks' was released, we might just add a cover or two!"

CINDERELLA frontman Tom Keifer has released the official music video for the title track of his critically acclaimed solo debut album, "The Way Life Goes". The clip, which was directed by Vicente Cordero, can be seen below.
"The Way Life Goes - Deluxe Edition", an expanded compilation of "The Way Life Goes", chock full of bonus content and special artwork, is finally set for release October 20 via Cleopatra Records. The package will include the original album that has been remastered by Richard Dodd (KINGS OF LEON, JASON ALDEAN, LADY ANTEBELLUM). It also has two brand new studio tracks recorded in Nashville by three-time Grammy Award winner Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton) with Keifer and his bandmates (Tony Higbee, Billy Mercer, Paul Simmons, Paul Taylor, Savannah Keifer and Kendra Chantelle). Fans will finally get to hear the long-awaited studio recording of THE BEATLES' "With A Little Help From My Friends", which Keifer performs at all of his concerts, plus a powerful new take on the CINDERELLA classic "Nobody's Fool", newly recorded as a duet with Lzzy Hale of HALESTORM. "The reason that I picked up guitar, the reason that I sing the way I do was all because of that guy," said Hale of Keifer's influence on her at a young age. The two first performed "Nobody's Fool" live together in Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 2013.
"I remember the first time seeing Lzzy perform live at the House of Blues show in Atlantic City and being absolutely floored by the power of her voice and performance," Keifer says. "She's an amazing artist and has been a great inspiration to me as well." There will also be a bonus DVD with music videos, tour clips, and "The Way Life's Goin'", a 30-minute documentary produced by Tammy Vega (Keifer's longtime official photographer) about the creation of the bonus tracks, exclusive interviews with the band filmed during the new recording sessions, and live footage. "The Way Life Goes - Deluxe Edition" will be wrapped in an all new six-panel digipak designed by artist David Calcano (creator of the Fantoons comic strip series) with 20 pages of one-of-a-kind unique illustrations depicting each song. As Keifer explains: "Everything from the new artwork, documentary, videos and bonus tracks contained in the deluxe edition is a sum of all the amazingly talented people who came into our world as a result of the initial release. The two bonus tracks were specifically chosen and recorded as we felt them both to be special collaborations that came about while touring for 'The Way Life Goes'." New band members Jarred Pope (drums) and Kory Myers (keyboards/vocals) join Keifer's solo band in 2017. Writing has begun for a follow-up to "The Way Life Goes", with recording slated for fall 2018. "The Flood's The Fault Of The Rain", the new video from L.A. GUNS, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's latest album, "The Missing Peace", which was released on October 13 via the Italian record label Frontiers Music Srl. The disc's cover artwork was created by the Las Vegas portrait painter Kahla and can be seen below.
As the revival of the classic '80s hard rock and heavy metal scene continues unabated here in the 21st century, one reunion has been at the top of the wishlists of many a fan for a long time: the songwriting combination of Tracii Guns and Philip Lewis under the L.A. GUNS banner. What once seemed like a distant memory with no hope of returning has now come around and fans are about to be rewarded for keeping their fingers crossed and their hopes up. "The Missing Peace" track listing:
01. It's All The Same To Me02. Speed03. A Drop Of Bleach04. Sticky Fingers05. Christine06. Baby Gotta Fever07. Kill It Or Die08. Don't Bring A Knife To A Gunfight09. The Flood's The Fault Of The Rain10. The Devil Made Me Do It11. The Missing Peace12. Gave It All Away "'The Missing Peace' is truly an album by definition," said Guns. "It's a collection of music that I have been working on for about twelve years with various styles of rock music. From blues to classical influences, these are all hard-hitting songs. I am very proud of all of the contributions to this album by other members and writers. L.A. GUNS fans are in for a treat."
The last time Lewis and Guns joined forces was back in 2000 with legendary producer Andy Johns for the making of what would become "Waking The Dead". Speaking with Express & Star, Tracii said: "With Phil and I in particular, we have a certain chemistry that's undeniable. And, you know, when you're at your loneliest, you wanna go home, right? So, we both felt like it was time to go home and be comfortable with that undeniable relationship that we have musically. I mean, right away, the first time we got back together and played, you know, it's so obvious, you can't deny it. At some point in your life, you can't deny what's real." Regarding the sound of the new L.A. GUNS material, Tracii said: "Phil's vocal style and his way of writing kind of offsets that balance of the heavy music, that's something that's possibly more mainstream or identifiable, so there's a lot of, you know, kind of typical sleazy L.A. GUNS, high-energy riff rock. There's a little bit of sloppy New Orleans, kind of sweaty, kind of bluesier stuff too. It's a big record." L.A. GUNS' present lineup is rounded out by Shane Fitzgibbon on drums and Johnny Martin on bass with Michael Grant on guitar as a touring member. On the topic of the decision to use the L.A. GUNS moniker for the new album, Guns told LA Weekly: "When you put Phil and I together, that's the sound of L.A. GUNS. There's no way around that. As much as I love certain other [former] members of the band, it's hard to say what their contribution to the overall sound of the band was — but Phil Lewis and Tracii Guns, the band's gotta be L.A. GUNS. It can't be anything else." Back in December, Phil announced that he was leaving the L.A. GUNS version that included drummer Steve Riley. L.A. GUNS 2017 is:

Finnish symphonic metallers AMBERIAN DAWN have released a music video for the song "I'm The One". The track is taken from the band's eighth album, "Darkness Of Eternity", which will be released on November 10 via Napalm Records.
AMBERIAN DAWN keyboardist and mastermind Tuomas Seppälä comments: "'I'm The One' was one of the latest compositions for new album. After writing a couple of softer songs in fall 2016, I got a new 'heavy wave' and probably three latest songs I wrote were quite heavy. The song is very hectic and pushes forward like a train. There's no solo part on this song (a solo would have been quite obvious call). Instead of that, I wrote an instrumental part and an extra vocal part. Last vocal part's melody and chord pattern supporting it consists of just one really long phrase... this kind of long phrasing was typical in many classical compositions. I still haven't got rid of my roots in classical music."
Singer Päivi "Capri" Virkkunen explains the story: "'I'm The One'. This is a story about very charismatic and socially intelligent people who speak with the finest words to make other people do what they want in their quest for their own pleasure. They do not care about the consequences or how to violate the feelings of others. They only think of themselves. Unfortunately, the pressure in the group is generally enormous and all its members are behind the strongest individual hoping to be 'the chosen one.'"
"Darkness Of Eternity" track listing:
01. I'm The One02. Sky Is Falling03. Dragonflies04. Maybe05. Golden Coins06. Luna My Darling07. Abyss08. Ghostwoman09. Breathe Again10. Symphony Nr. 1, Part 2 - Darkness Of Eternity11. Anyone (bonus track)
Seppälä says: "'Darkness Of Eternity' is one of the most emotional AMBERIAN DAWN albums so far. It's got some really bombastic songs in mood of dark and symphonic melodic metal and in contrast to that also some really poppy songs too.
"For me, it's really hard to stick in one genre only and I constantly want to compose different kinds of songs!"
Tuomas adds: "The song 'Symphony Nr.1, Part 1 - The Witchcraft' told the story on the last record, 'Innuendo', before the time of 'Magic Forest'. The little girl is a healer and village elders buried her alive in a coffin. The track 'Symphony Nr.1, Part 2 - Darkness Of Eternity' on our upcoming record 'Darkness Of Eternity' tells the story of the girl lying in the coffin trying to get out. Darkness is asking her to dance the waltz of eternity. The story will continue in Part 3 and we will tell you how she became the Magic Forest's evil witch!" Regarding the "Darkness Of Eternity" recording process, Tuomas says: "We did a lot of production at legendary Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland: drum recordings, mixing by Mikko Karmila and mastering by Mika Jussila. We also used a live string section on orchestral parts and that added nice color on the sound.
"It's easy for me to say that this album is without any doubt the best sounding AMBERIAN DAWN album ever! It's a kind of monument for me and it introduces the many sides of me as composer.
"I still feel very lucky that I've got Capri [Päivi Virkkunen] on this band because she's probably the only singer capable singing all of those different styles with superior sound and feeling."
AMBERIAN DAWN released a compilation album of songs that originally appeared on their first four albums — "Circus Black" (2012), "End Of Eden" (2010), "The Clouds Of Northland Thunder" (2009) and "River Of Tuoni" (2008) — to showcase Virkkunen after the departure of Heidi Parviainen. "Re-Evolution" was made available on June 14, 2013 in Finland, distributed by Suomen Musiikki.
ARCH ENEMY's music video for the song "The Race" can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's new album, "Will To Power", which was released on September 8 via Century Media. Co-produced by guitarist Michael Amott and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, the disc was mixed and mastered by longtime collaborator and friend Jens Bogren (OPETH, AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR). The album's cover artwork was designed by Alex Reisfar.
Amott commented: "This was actually the last song written for the 'Will To Power' album.
"Listening through all the material we had up to that point, we agreed that the album needed one more song that would be a relentless and fast-paced counterpoint to some of the more epic compositions we already had. We sent Alissa [White-Gluz] the music and she came up with a thought-provoking set of lyrics with an intense vocal arrangement that complemented the music perfectly.
"We've been having a blast playing this song on the current tour and we had our video director Patric Ullaeus come out to capture the mayhem at our recent show in Helsinki, Finland... Enjoy 'The Race'!"
"Will To Power" marks the second ARCH ENEMY album since the departure of longtime singer Angela Gossow and addition of White-Gluz. It will also be the first ARCH ENEMY disc to feature former NEVERMORE guitarist Jeff Loomis, who joined the band in late 2014.

CKY (Chad I Ginsburg, Jess Margera and Matt Deis) have debuted a new music video for their single "Head For a Breakdown”. Directed by The Costa Sisters, this is the third music video we've seen from the band off their latest LP. The video was shot in and around London, UK during the band's near sell out run earlier this year.
“We were lucky enough to get a day off to explore one of the best cities on earth with our friends," says the band. "The extremely talented Costa sisters, Elena & Sofia were behind the camera. We decided to crash the Queen's Garden Party and film our video in front of the gates of Buckingham Palace.
"This was all impromptu footage mixed with the absolutely mental crowds at our sold-out nights in London. This is our tribute and thank-you to the diehard Bloody Alliance and all the new fans and friends we made in the UK this time around. Can’t wait to see you again soon. Cheers!”
The band will set out on a lengthy tour serving as main support for HIM on their Farewell Tour this fall. CKY will also play headline dates leading up to and throughout that run, full dates can be seen below.

Through The Eyes Of The Dead have debuted a new music video for their single, "Hate The Living". Directed by veteran video director Michael Compitello, this is the first music video TTEOTD has released from their new LP.
“We are stoked to have teamed up with our good friends at MyGoodEye for the video of our first single," says guitarist Justin Longshore. "We really think the video captures the energy and vibe that you would expect from a TTEOTD live show. All footage was taken from our recent northeast trek in support of the new record. Horns up!”
The band's new LP, Disomus, is out now via Entertainment One Music (eOne) / Good Fight Music.
Disomus is the long anticipated follow up to their last LP, Skepsis released in 2010. Disomus marks the second consecutive album with vocalist Danny Rodriguez and drummer Michael Ranne (a first in the group’s impressive history) together with longtime bassist Jake Ososkie and founding guitarist and songwriting engine Justin Longshore. Disomus doubles as the studio introduction of new guitarist Steven Funderburk (also of Wretched, Lillake) and the return of original vocalist Anthony Gunnells and his successor, Nate Johnson, via strong guest appearances, bringing Through The Eyes Of The Dead full circle.
“Disomus” is the medical term describing an abnormal fetus with two bodies but one head. The album’s subject matter includes the tale of a man buried alive by a cult (“Obitual”), a dark magician’s creation of a malignant entity via sacrificial killing (“Haruspex”), underworld spirits doomed to roam the earth (“Dismal”), the Styx River of Greek myth (“Vortices In The Stygian Maelstrom”), the themes of the Alien/Prometheus film franchise (“Teras”, alternately named for an abnormal fetus with two heads and one body), and the real life tragedy and horror discovered by Rodriguez, a Chicago police officer, when called upon to check on the well being of an elderly person who lived alone (“Till Solace, She’ll Haunt”).

Having already stormed the UK album chart at #6 with Heavy Fire in February and played a sold out European tour, the UK autumn shows will be another highpoint in a triumphant 2017 for Black Star Riders. With over 220 live dates under their belt, and with this forthcoming UK run about to kick off, the band wanted to thank fans for coming out to make their shows. Calling for fans to submit photos of them meeting the guys on the road, around 150 photos were picked from over 600 that were submitted to create a special fan video. Watch the results, below.
Frontman Ricky Warwick commented on the devotion of BSR fans: “To all our dedicated, loyal and magnificent following, thank you for making the Black Star Riders roll and enabling us to rock ...Here’s to ya!!”
The tour opens at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall on Wednesday, November 8th November and calls in at Edinburgh, Warrington, Hull, Middlesbrough, Sheffield, Leicester and Cambridge before wrapping up at Portsmouth Pyramids on Sunday, November 19th November.
“There's nothing more exciting than playing live”, says Ricky. “Black Star Riders are absolutely thrilled to get back out in the U.K. A wonderful way to round out a great year!”
The Duke of Spook, Wednesday 13, has revealed a new video for “Cadaverous”, a track from his current Condolences album. The clip plays up Wednesday's schlocky horror reputation in their best horror B-movie style, as he and his band finish up a US tour and get ready for a European tour later this month.
"'Cadaverous' is the most fun and campy video that we have made so far," states Wednesday. "We really had fun with this one, and it's a throwback to all my favorites like The Munsters and The Addams Family. I hope our fans enjoy this as much as we did making it."
Melodic metal band, Within Silence, will release their new album, Return From The Shadows, on October 27th in Europe and North America via Ulterium Records. A music video for the song “Children Of Light” is available for streaming below.
Return From The Shadows is a perfect follow-up to the debut album, Gallery Of Life, and feels like a more mature and focused album. The impressive songwriting and melodies are still there, and together with heavy riffs, symphonic arrangements and epic parts the result is a really strong album.
The album was mixed and mastered by Roland Grapow (Masterplan, ex-Helloween) and the artwork was created by Jan Yrlund (Delain, Apocalyptica, Korpiklaani). Return From The Shadows is a perfect album for fans of bands like Theocracy, Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius.

"We Own The Night", the new video from HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's fifth full-length album, "V" (Five), which will be released on October 27.
HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD's Johnny 3 Tears told Loudwire about the track: "That is very specific. One night, after the studio, we were out getting drunk, I'll be honest. And we went down to Hollywood Boulevard and which, to be honest with you, I don't do very often anymore. I used to live down there, pretty much, but all the bars are different now. Anyway, we were doing it. We were walking around and we really wanted to write a song about the nocturnal qualities of the city.
"It's weird, because you can be in one spot and it's a different world than that twelve hours later, it's completely different. You've got everything going on, there's the bank and there's the supermarket and everyone's doing their normal thing, and then twelve hours later, instead of selling food, they're selling crack and all these other things. It was a take on the nocturnal aspects of our lives and we thought it would be cool to tell that story.
"We've always been on the darker side, subject matter-wise, with music. I suppose that's just the way we are. It was our take on those things. I never liked 'party music,' you know, 'Let's party all night.' I've always looked at the other sides of those things. It's just a take on that activity and where we were at at that point."
Regarding the "V" title, Johnny 3 Tears said: "We're five brothers, and this is our fifth record. Nothing gets to the essence of the music like this number does. Numerology has a lot of power. When we said 'Five', it just made sense. The fact that we could all agree on one word codifies who we are. It also nods back to 'No. 5' from our first album, because it was our fifth song. Moreover, it hints at this secret society of fans supporting us for the past decade. The number is significant, and this is a significant moment for us."
The official video for POWERMAN 5000's new song "Cult Leader" can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's upcoming album, "New Wave", which will be released on October 27 via Pavement Entertainment.
"Cult Leader" pumps up the propaganda with the ultimate theme song for the Follow Me Age. The song also makes a commentary on society's modern vices. Vocalist Spider One says: "We live in a culture of cults. It's not just Charles Manson or Jim Jones anymore. It's Trump, Taylor Swift, Kardashian, Kilo f**king Ren or whatever! It's social media. Subscribe! Like! Follow! Follow! Follow! I'm just throwing my hat into the ring to be your Cult Leader. #drinkthekoolaid"
"New Wave" is POWERMAN 5000's eleventh official release since forming in 1992 and continues the strides and success, from their platinum-selling album "Tonight The Stars Revolt!" to their most recent chart-topping single in 2014, "How To Be A Human".
Regarding the overall sound of the follow-up to 2014's "Builders Of The Future", Spider One said: "We went a bit dirtier on this one. Ripped it up more than the last couple of records. One of the goals was to recreate the noise of the live show. Keep in the chaos."
On the topic of the new album title, Spider said: "New Wave? Are we a new wave band? Well, I would say that we have always had more in common with DEVO than DIO."
POWERMAN 5000's legacy continues to push the boundaries of rock, metal, industrial, rap and punk to create innovative and groundbreaking releases time and time again. Ram comments about Rod: "We are very proud to release our fifth studio album entitled Rod. Having released his latest full-length, Inverted Grasp Of Balance, last year via Metal Blade Records, Monte Pittman is now launching a new video for the album track, "New Blood Keeps Us Alive”, by Travis Colbert.
Monte Pittman comments: "I discovered the Bravo Tip Or Pay app from performing for the Ultimate Jam Night at the Whisky A Go Go. I think it's something that could change every musicians' life. I've been selling tickets to my shows and selling merchandise at shows using their app. They've been coming with me on some shows and brought along Travis Colbert to film content. While in New York, I was sitting around playing my acoustic where we were staying and Travis started filming me. He said, 'We could make a video'. Once I saw what he filmed, we immediately started filming the 'New Blood Keeps Us Alive' video since that's the only track that has acoustic guitar on it. We have been filming for more videos coming out soon also."

We Owe You Nothing, the ninth studio album from Italian black/doom metal overlords Forgotten Tomb, is set to be released on October 27th in Europe and November 10th in North America via Agonia Records. The new track, "Second Chances”, is available now in the form of 360° VR video:
We Owe You Nothing marks the highest point in the band's constant evolution and once more makes it hard to narrow down its sound to some pre-existing labels. Effortlessly blending the eerie, dissonant black metal sound the band is well-known for with muscular sludge/doom riffs and a subtle, nihilistic punk attitude, We Owe You Nothing defines the band's personality more than ever, reaffirming its unique sound.
Forgotten Tomb commented: "Our discography has always been divided by trilogies. We Owe You Nothing closes the third trilogy which started with ...And Don't Deliver Us From Evil followed by Hurt Yourself And The Ones You Love and it's the heaviest among the three albums, with an emphasis on slower/mid tempos and a sludgier approach while retaining also our trademark melodies and dissonant arpeggios, plus some twists which open new doors to the next era of the band. Due to circumstances surrounding it, it's been an extremely painful album to make and therefore it's one of our darkest, while being also filled with raw energy.”
The new album includes six songs for approx. 40 minutes of music. Recording-sessions started in December 2016, with drums being tracked at Big Pine Creekstudio in Italy, but were abruptly interrupted when singer/guitarist Ferdinando "HM"M. was involved in a life-threatening car accident that left him unable to play for months. The recording was resumed and completed in May 2017 at SPVN Studio in Italy, while mix and mastering were done in June 2017 at Planet-Z studio (Hadley, Massachussets, USA) by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Rob Zombie, Six Feet Under, Crowbar, Hatebreed).
