ANTIMATTER: End-Of-Year Video Blog

Mick Moss of ANTIMATTER, the U.K. project whose recording/touring lineup has included current and former members of ANATHEMA, has posted a new five-minute video blog which includes footage of the recording sessions for the band's forthcoming fifth album, "Wide Awake In The Concrete Asylum". A concept album about the (sometimes sadistic) roles people force themselves to play whilst born and trapped in an urban environment, the CD will feature the following track listing:

* Firewalking
* Paranova
* Fear Of A Unique Identity
* Here Come The Men
* Respite
* Uniformed & Black
* Monochrome
* Wide Awake
* The Parade
* A Place In The Sun

Back in August 2011, Moss stated about the upcoming ANTIMATTER effort, "My original plan was to release this album on my own label, Music In Stone, in November 2011, but upon hearing the promise of these completed demos this album has far surpassed my expectations. I have now decided that 'Wide Awake In The Concrete Asylum' needs the full attention of a seasoned record label, someone with the ability to work this album to its full potential, and I will be searching for that label over the coming months. Therefore the projected release date of November 2011 has now been wiped clean giving way to the more realistic aim of early-mid 2012."

Moss has also announced plans to release another ANTIMATTE R album in 2013, entitled "The Judas Table".
