A Killer's Confession, the band led by former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis have released a brand new song "Light To Darkness" via Wake Up! Music Rocks (a division of Wake Up! Music). This is the second song to be released this year and is from the band's highly anticipated third album coming out later this year.
The first single "Remember" was released on January 27 and the song is currently charting on both the Mediabase and Billboard Active Rock charts. The video has already surpassed 1/2 million views on YouTube.
Stream "A Light To Darkness" here and watch the video below.
Formed in 2016 in Cleveland, OH, A Killer's Confession (AKC) is led by vocalist Waylon Reavis and consists of Morgan Bauer (drums), JP Cross (bass), and Tommy Church (guitar).
The debut album from AKC Unbroken was released in May 2017 via EMP Group, the label founded by Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson. The first single, "A Killer's Confession", featured Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch. After the contract term ended with EMP Group, the band self-released their next three singles ("Angel On The Outside," "I Wish," and "Reanimated") all to critical and commercial acclaim, racking up over 2 million cumulative streams on Spotify.
In 2019, Pepper Gomez, the founder and CEO of Chicago and Miami based Wake Up! Music Group signed A Killer’s Confession. The band’s sophomore album The Indifference Of Good Men was produced by Sahaj Ticotin (vocalist for Ra) in Los Angeles, CA. It included the single "Numb,” along with the previously released singles "I Wish,” “Reanimated,” and "Angel On The Outside.” The band is managed by Jeromy Jerome for FM Music Management.
LAMB OF GOD has released the official video for " Resurrection Man (Live)" from the "Live In Richmond, VA" DVD, which is part of the "Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version)", out now via Epic Records. The clip was filmed in the band's native Richmond, Virginia, for a September 2020 livestream.
"'Resurrection Man' has been a fun song to watch the fan reaction to and a fun one to play live for the first time," says guitarist Mark Morton. "We wrote the music for that song quickly and spontaneously in pretty much an afternoon in our jam room. Willie freestyled the opening riff and we built from there. Sometimes it's cool to just let stuff flow without overthinking things to death. I feel like 'Resurrection Man' is a great example of that."
"Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version)" features the critically acclaimed 2020 release with two bonus tracks and a live version of the album, along with a DVD featuring the first of LAMB OF GOD's two ultra-successful livestream events from the fall.
In addition to performing "Lamb Of God" in its entirety, the performance features an encore of four songs including "Ruin", "Contractor", "512" and the debut live performance of "The Death Of Us", a new song the band wrote and recorded in quarantine for the "Bill & Ted Face The Music" movie and soundtrack. The DVD also includes a new director's cut with bonus material. Digital copies will contain only Disc 1 and Disc 2. A separate vinyl edition of "Live From Richmond, VA" will also be available.
The first single from "Lamb Of God (Deluxe Version)", "Ghost Shaped People", has already received a response equal to the fervent reception the original release received last June, holding at No. 1 on the Metal Contraband metal radio chart for four weeks in a row.
"Lamb Of God", the quintet's first new album in five years, was met with universal acclaim upon release — not only among major rock journalists, but with all strata of metal fans around the world. But critics, media and the industry aside, perhaps the most telling statistic is the year-end U.S. Metal Radio chart, where the new album dominated at No. 1 by a massive margin (over 2,000 more spins than the album at No. 2). "Lamb Of God" spent nine weeks in the No. 1 spot and never left the top 10 since debuting on the chart in February. Metal Radio is the lifeblood of the U.S. metal world, largely staffed by college students and regional tastemakers, playing the music that they know their local metal fans want to hear.

June 18 will see UK metallers Neonfly release their hotly anticipated album The Future, Tonight, via Germany's up and coming metal institution, Noble Demon.
Neonfly, formed in 2008 as the brainchild of guitarist and composer Frederick Thunder, took the heavy music scene by storm, releasing two highly acclaimed full-length records and an unforgettable debut EP to date. The four-piece have played countless tours with acts such as Sonata Arctica, Dragonforce, Epica and Alice Cooper to name just a few, and appeared at a raft of prestigious festivals notably Download, Bloodstock and Masters Of Rock.
On their upcoming third album, Neonfly shows no signs of slowing down: The Future, Tonight not only features 10 modern rock anthems, heavy yet catchy allied with hard-hitting riffs, big metal grooves and decidedly socially conscious lyrics, but also signposts a new musical direction and a new creative era for the band, as guitarist Frederick Thunder states: "We’ve evolved a lot since our last album, and it was extremely important for us to move forward both musically and artistically, and to create something unique and contemporary that would define Neonfly’s sound and stand out from everything else out there."
To follow up these words with actions, today Neonfly unleash a brand new video clip for the album title track. With a guest appearance by none other than legendary Björn Strid of the mighty Soilwork, who has nothing but praise for the band: "I really enjoyed recording vocals for this song. Great players with tons of hooks and melancholic melodies. The song has some pretty unexpected turns as well and is just as epic as it rocks."
Watch the video for "The Future, Tonight" below.
"In the video we wanted to show this metaphorically by having the 4 band members blindfolded and tied to chairs in front of an interrogator who is abusing them psychologically and threatening them with physical violence" the band explains and continues: The interrogator represents mental health and depression issues, while the band members struggling and trying to stand up to him, represent the inner struggle that people have against those demons. In the video, we wanted to include this as part of a wider narrative, shot cinematically like a short movie. Towards the end of the video, there is a plot twist, as we see the interrogator blindfolded sitting on a chair on his own, and replaying the previous sequence entirely on his own, implying that he’d been the one sitting alone all this time struggling with his inner demons."
Furthermore Frederick Thunder adds: “‘The Future, Tonight’ is one of my favourite tracks on the album. I think it really showcases where we are at today. The song is a perfect example of that, and we are truly honoured to have Björn “Speed” Strid -an artist that I deeply respect and admire- as a guest singer on the track. It’s also a testament to our commitment to keep moving forward and finding new and exciting forms of artistic expression."
The Future, Tonight was produced by Grammy award nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Motörhead), with keyboards and orchestra arranged by Miro Rodenberg (Avantasia, Kamelot).
The Future, Tonight is available for pre-order here. Pre-save the new single to the library of your preferred streaming service or add it to your favorite playlist here.

On May 21, Vulture will release their new album, Dealin' Death, via Metal Blade Records. For a first preview of the record, a video for the new single, "Malicious Souls" (filmed and edited by Adrian Guzce), can be viewed below.
When it comes to contemporary thrash, there are few bands that can stand toe-to-toe with Germany's Vulture. Establishing their status with 2016's Victim To The Blade EP and 2017's The Guillotine, then cementing their reputation with 2019's Ghastly Waves And Battered Graves, they now return with the mighty Dealin' Death, one of the most ruthless records the genre has seen.
"Take all our key elements - fierce riffing, halftone-shifts, aggressive vocals, huge toms, changing dynamics, horror-synths and classical twin guitar harmonies and cast it in a mould, then you have 'Dealin' Death'," says guitarist Stefan Castevet. "The result sounds a little 'back to the EP-ish' to my ears, yet it contains new approaches that we've never included in our sound so far, like choirs with harmonies."
When it was time for the band to head into the studio, the recording process was handled by two separate collaborators: the album recorded at Monkey Moon Studios in Dortmund by Alexander Stöcker, the guitarist of Stallion, while the production was once more handled by Marco Brinkmann at Hellforge Studio.
"This cooperation turned out great!" enthuses vocalist Leo Steeler. "Alex's way of recording and the whole studio atmosphere was pretty motivating and inspiring for all of us. Marco, on the other hand, knows exactly how we should sound and already became literally the sixth member of the band."
Working twelve-hour days for ten days straight was pretty grueling, their daily schedule "get up, track, sleep", but the effort paid off. "I think 'Dealin' Death' is the best we've ever sounded. The mix itself is absolutely flawless to my ears," says Castevet. "It's way more direct and less reverb-soaked than its predecessor. It was very important for us this time, to take advice from Marco and make all key elements audible for the listener. The vocals sound piercing, the bass is present, delivering warmth throughout the whole mix, and the guitars have the best sound we've ever had, and the same goes for drums. It's very natural and dynamic, but straight to the point."
And now with everything done, the band are eager to get it out there. "We can't wait to get feedback for it, hopefully people will admire it as much as we do! Once the pandemic is over, we also can't wait to play shows and even tour again."
Dealin' Death can be pre-ordered here in the following formats:

Frozen Soul live up to their name as the sound of death metal at its most cold and classic. Their new album Crypt Of Ice is out now via Century Media.
The band have premiered the NSFW video for album track, "Arctic Stranglehold". Watch below.
"'Arctic Stranglehold' is our favorite song off of Crypt Of Ice," the band says. "We started out doing just a visual, non-performance video for it, but in the end, we thought that it deserved a lot more to really show the song. We went back to the drawing board with Tanner McCardle and our good friend Dave Gonzalez with Metal Dave Media and decided to shoot some DIY scenes ourselves to add into what Tanner had already done! All the performance scenes and death scenes were shot in our jam space, then Tanner filmed some additional footage to add to that."
The band finishes, "After we got all of the new additions finished, Tanner reworked the original visuals that he filmed and edited it together with all the new footage. 'Arctic Stranglehold' came to life, or death!! We put a lot of hard work into this video and are stoked for everyone to see it! COLD SCHOOL DEATH METAL FOREVER."

Florida-based melodic death metal quartet, The Absence, have unveiled a music video for their new song, “Choirs Of Sickness”. The clip can be viewed below, and the song itself is available now for streaming and download at all digital music outlets.
“Choirs Of Sickness” is the first single from The Absence’s upcoming album, Coffinized, which will be released June 25 by M-Theory Audio. CD and limited-edition vinyl variants can be pre-ordered here.
Says vocalist Jamie Stewart, “Haven’t we all been Coffinized since last year? Cooped-up, masked, distanced, trapped within a formless bubble, longing for a collective exhale. We lost loved ones; we lost time, work, sanity... in a way, we lost ourselves. In regard to most bands' craft, we lost an integral portion of the thing that charges our collective batteries: SHOWS. We lost our abilities to release and to connect with all of our friends and family. We miss the spark; we miss the conversations; and most of all, we miss each and every one of you.
“This record is a void-bending combustion chamber of creativity,” he continues. “Every single song bears a torch of deprivation, darkness and triumph. In the end, we do actually win. One second, you feel creative and accomplished, validated and whole. The next, you seem empty and worthless, and feel the claustrophobia of being forced into an unwilling casket. ‘Coffinized’ collects in detail the hysterical scratches and screams found on the inside of this casket’s lid – the kind of gashes made by four beings who are very much alive and giving their all to be heard from a forced burial.”
Coffinized is The Absence's follow-up to their 2018 comeback record, A Gift For The Obsessed. That album was the band's first in eight years, as well as their first for new label home M-Theory Audio. The time period between that album's release and the COVID outbreak saw the band stay busy by taking their new songs to the road, touring alongside acts such as Deicide, Origin, Jungle Rot, Exmortus, and Hatchet. Band members also stayed busy with other outside endeavours, with drummer Jeramie Kling manning the kit for Venom Inc., bassist Mike Leon gigging with Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy, and guitarist Taylor Nordberg playing with Massacre. Those three band members took the experiences from those touring gigs and reconvened in the studio with Stewart who has also been busy with his other project, Hot Graves, to put together the 11 tracks of pummeling death metal that compose Coffinized.
Coffinized was produced and engineered by Kling and Nordberg and mixed by Kling. The album was mastered by Jonas Kjellgren (Immortal, Overkill, Scar Symmetry) at Sweden’s Black Lounge Studios.
Korpiklaani have released an accordion playthrough video for "Huolettomat", a track from the band's new album, Jylhä. Watch Sami Perttula rip through the track below.
Sami comments on "Huolettomat": "'Huolettomat' is the product of a long process and I recorded the first ideas of this song a couple of years ago. My idea was to make a stereotypical Korpiklaani folk metal song and pick up the juiciest parts that touched me the most when I myself got introduced to the genre: energy, a good sense of melody and an uplifting rhythm. Once again the whole song went trough my bandmates' filters and it wouldn’t exist in such a cool form as it does on the album now if it wasn't for them. Big thanks to them again for putting a lot of effort into this song!
'Huolettomat' can be translated as 'the careless' and again the lyrics are by Tuomas Keskimäki. In the story, the carefree secretly party on an island, run laughing to the bailiff, and continue partying like it was their last day. 'Today is today, tomorrow is uncertain'. In one review the song has been described as 'Hakuna Matata' by Korpiklaani instead of the Lion King movie soundtrack, and I kind of like that description.
Special thanks for the video go to media student Aleksander Grönvall who represents the younger generation of producers in Finland. With his motivation, professionalism and effort we got a chance to serve this video to you, so enjoy!"
Symphonic metal outfit, Upon Wings, has debuted the music video for their new song, "Eternal Way", feat. Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear, Gamma Ray) and Max Georgiev, lead touring guitarist for Falling In Reverse. Watch below, and stream/download the single here.
The idea to have Scheepers guest on the track came about as Upon Wings was wrapping up recording sessions for "Eternal Way".
"Ralf Scheepers has such a grand voice and was a delight to work with, so it was truly a pleasure and honor to have him on this Upon Wings song," frontwoman Anne Autumn said. "Max Georgiev's guitar solo adds an incredible touch, as well."
Kevin Jardine of Slaves On Dope produced, mixed, and performed additional guitars on the album's title track, and Peter Tzaferis of the band performed drums. Grammy Award-winning producer Glenn Brown mastered the song.
Anne Erickson (Upon Wings) is a classically-trained vocalist who was inspired to start a band after hearing the operatic vocals of Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson and Judas Priest's Rob Halford.
Late Megadeth drummer Nick Menza's official Menza Nation YouTube channel has uploaded video of Megadeth performing "Sweating Bullets" at the Hammersmith Apollo in 1992. The song is taken from the Countdown To Extinction album, released in 1992 and featuring the classic lineup of Dave Mustaine (vocals, guitars), David Ellefson (bass) Marty Friedman (guitars) and Nick Menza (drums).
Screaming Butterfly Entertainment recently revealed the cover artwork for This Was My Life - The Story of Nick Menza. The uncensored documentary film that will focus on Nick's life and musical career.
The cover photo for the film was shot by Los Angeles music photographer Alex Solca and designed by Brazilian artwork designer Alcides Burn of Burn Artworks and can be viewed below.
"This Was My Life" will be the first ever film to memorialize Menza's legacy and celebrate his life exactly how it was, described as "an unflinching exploration into the life of one of the most successful thrash-metal drummers of all time, authorized by the Menza family. From his childhood all the way through to the end of his life including a true blow-by-blow account of the repeated failed attempts of the classic Rust In Peace lineup."
"This Was My Life" will feature rare and never-before-seen photos and video footage from Nick's archived VHS tape collection, personally filmed by Menza himself from 1988 through 1991. Included will be exclusive un-realsed audio recordings and content showcasing Nick working at the studio, personal home movies, casual time and party time with his fellow band members, as well as other well-known artists of the era that Nick toured with. The film will also include new interviews with those who knew Nick and were touched by his life.
Menza's longtime personal manager Robert Bolger said: "I am very excited to be working with Screaming Butterfly Entertainment on Nick's official documentary. There's a lot of published misinformation out there about Nick that isn't true and I am very happy to bring the truth forth. Nick loved his fans and always said without the fans none this would be possible. I really think Nick's fans will enjoy this journey through his life."
Executive producer Holly Mollohan from Screaming Butterfly Entertainment added: "As both a filmmaker, and fellow metalhead who deeply values the metal community, I am honored and excited to go on this journey alongside all of you."
Photographer Alex Solca said: "I am so glad Screaming Butterfly have chosen to use that photo, because Nick was really into it and worked hard to get that perfect pose."

Menza's official autobiography, Megalife: The Autobiography Of Nick Menza by J. Marshall Craig, was released in December 2018 via Post Hill Press.
Late in the evening on May 21, 2016, Nick collapsed after suffering a heart attack during a concert with Chris Poland and Robertino "Pag" Pagliari in their band OHM: at The Baked Potato in Studio City, California and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner said Menza died of hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Nick rightfully earned his place as one of heavy metal's fiercest drummers during Megadeth's 10-year commercial peak. The highlight of his career, Nick said, was playing Rock In Rio before more than 100,000 people. The lowest point was being fired by Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine while he was still in a hospital bed after surgery to remove what doctors feared was a cancerous growth.
Montreal, QC's Sanguine Glacialis have a new music video for the track “Kraken” in support of their 2018 album Hadopelagic. The band experiments with a vast array of musical styles such as jazz, classical, folkloric music, and Latin music while keeping a very strong melodic death metal accent.
Today, the band is asking fans to come dance La Valse des condamnés! with the premiere of the video for “Kraken” via BraveWords:
Sanguine Glacialis explains the song in their own words:
“This is the third and last single from our album Hadopelagic. It’s actually the first song that was written when we finished the recording of our first album Dancing With A Hanged Man, and because of that, you can clearly hear the influences of the first album and former line-up. It’s a song that we all liked, so we decided to keep it and adapt it to our new line-up. The lyrics talk about a man who goes to sea, knowing well that a monster awaits him, and despite the warnings of the people around him, unfortunately never comes back. The music video is centered on this story, showing a ghost ship wandering the seas, reliving the passengers’ deaths in the hands of the Kraken, forever.”
Hadopelagic is the second full-length album from Sanguine Glacialis, following 2012’s Dancing With A Hanged Man and 2016’s EP Pitch Black Sight. The beauty of Sanguine Glacialis is that their influences shine through prominently in their music, and each song has its own atmosphere, taking from a unique slice of the musical spectrum.
With this album, the band took a huge step forward and fans have been appreciating its mature sound much more than the previous one. According to the band, everything is better on this release and they are proud of the new direction they have taken. There has been talk of writing another album and getting back to live performances in the not too distant future.
Fans of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Between the Buried and Me, and Diablo Swing Orchestra will likely be interested in the genre-bending sounds of Sanguine Glacialis.
Hadopelagic was released on April 6, 2018 and is available on Bandcamp, Apple Music, Amazon, and Spotify.
The Dust Coda have released the official video for "Demon", the opening track of the band's new album, Mojo Skyline, out now via Earache. Order Mojo Skyline here, and watch the new clip below.
The vivid album cover for Mojo Skylin is extracted from the mind of artist Nick Dwyer, who is best known for his eye-catching designs for Beavertown Brewery's beloved brews such as Neck Oil and Gamma Ray. "I was trying to put across how these guys, who live and breathe destruction, dirt and chaos through their music might also spend their 'down time' inhaling weirdness from other not-so-obvious places," says Nick of the artwork. "They are on some sort of Natural Born Killers-esque trip, making a quick stop to watch a horror movie in the desert as the city disappears behind them. It's a peyote sandwich washed down with whiskey and desert dust."

GARBAGE will release its seventh studio album, "No Gods No Masters", on June 11 via Stunvolume/Infectious Music. The record's debut single, "The Men Who Rule the World", and its accompanying mixed media video — created by Chilean film director, animator and painter Javi Mi Amor — are out today.
"This is our seventh record, the significant numerology of which affected the DNA of its content: the seven virtues, the seven sorrows, and the seven deadly sins," says the band's frontwoman Shirley Manson of the album and its twists and turns from capitalism and lust to loss and grief. "It was our way of trying to make sense of how fucking nuts the world is and the astounding chaos we find ourselves in. It's the record we felt that we had to make at this time."
"The Men Who Rule The World", the opening track of "No Gods No Masters", is a protest song — a searing indictment and call to arms critiquing of the rise of capitalist short-sightedness, racism, sexism and misogyny across the world. It's a clear statement of intent from a band who still believe in the power of dissent, setting the tone for the rest of the record.
Produced by GARBAGE and long-time collaborator Billy Bush, the seeds for "No Gods No Masters" were planted in summer 2018 in the desert in Palm Springs. The quartet — Manson and bandmates Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig — convened at a home belonging to one of Marker's relatives and sketched out the skeleton of the album over two weeks, jamming, experimenting and feeling the songs out. They then took those demos and went their separate ways before connecting in Los Angeles to finish the record.
GARBAGE will unveil a deluxe CD/digital version of "No Gods No Masters" featuring covers of classic tracks by David Bowie, Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen along with rare GARBAGE originals. The deluxe version also features new voices, with appearances from Screaming Females, Brody Dalle, Brian Aubert, John Doe and Exene Cervenka. The album will also be in record stores starting June 12 as part of RSD Drops and will be available in limited edition pink vinyl, featuring alternate cover art.
Since releasing their eponymous debut album in 1995, GARBAGE has blazed a unique sonic trail, garnering critical acclaim and amassing a passel of hits as well as seven Grammy nominations along the way to 17 million albums sold.

DREAM THEATER keyboardist Jordan Rudess has released the official music video for "I Surrender", a track from his latest solo album "A Chapter In Time".
Issued on March 12, "A Chapter In Time" was created as a musical reflection of a most unusual time in our history.
"I had this kind of musical diary that I was keeping during the whole beginning [and] middle of the lockdown, which was me basically going into my studio and working with these kind of trippy piano sounds and programming these ambient colors around the piano," Jordan told "The Guitar Hour" podcast. "And I was doing that a lot. It was really very cathartic for me. It was kind of helping me even just deal with my own feelings and everything like that. So after I got a whole bunch of those together, I thought, 'I should really release this as an album' — kind of like a marker of the time period. It's really just personal, if nothing else."
Regarding his decision to release the LP via Bandcamp, which supports artists and labels through revenue sharing of sales of a band's digital music, vinyl, t-shirt, or any other product listed on the web site, Rudess said: "The music business is just such a difficult place right now. It's so hard to make any money. It's crazy, and it's so sad. So I decided I would release it on Bandcamp so I would stand a chance to pay my expenses and maybe make a few bucks — instead of putting it out on Spotify and iTunes and Amazon, all the streaming services like that."
Rudess has been the full-time keyboardist with DREAM THEATER since the recording of 1999's "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory". Beyond DREAM THEATER, he has released a number of acclaimed solo works and has also blazed a trail in helping to evolve the art and science of keyboard controllers. He created the successful app development company Wizdom Music, which has developed award-winning apps, including MorphWiz, which won the first-ever Billboard award for "Best Music Creation App". Wizdom Music has also built apps for Intel, Microsoft and RIM.
Voodoo Circle have released a lyric video for "Flesh & Bone", the opening track of their new album, Locked & Loaded, released earlier this year via AFM Records. Watch below.
The band features Primal Fear members Alex Beyrodt (guitars, vocals) and Mat Sinner (bass), as well as Davd Readman (vocals) and Markus Kullmann (drums).

Frontiers Music Srl announces the release of the first ever live album and video from Finland's One Desire, One Night Only - Live In Helsinki, on June 11.
Fans of the band who have had the pleasure of seeing them live already know how incredible the band is in that setting, but now fans who haven't yet had the opportunity will get to see for themselves. As a special sneak peek, the band has released a live single and video pulled from the set for "After You're Gone", the explosive single from their last studio album, Midnight Empire. Watch it below.
Pre-order CD/DVD, Blu-ray, and LP versions of the album and pre-save the digital version here.
Back in March 2020, One Desire had hit the road with The Night Flight Orchestra in Europe in support of their then forthcoming second album, Midnight Empire. Of course, anyone who sees 'March 2020' knows that the coronavirus pandemic was strengthening its grip on the globe at that moment in time. The tour was cut short and venues around the globe were being shut down. Unfortunately, upon getting home, the guys realized they had all caught COVID-19, but luckily, after some time, the guys all recovered.
While the Midnight Empire release in May 2020 was as successful as it could be given the complicated circumstances surrounding the album release at that moment in time due to the various territorial lockdowns in Europe, One Desire still had a yearning to show fans how these new songs sounded live. As they, and the rest of the world, adjusted to a new reality in terms of live performances, the idea of a special one-of-a-kind live product came to pass and a live recording was captured on October 3, 2020 in Helsinki, Finland at the On The Rocks Club. With just a minimal audience, as required for live events these days, the band kicked out a selection of their most beloved and acclaimed songs. One Night Only - Live In Helsinki also comes with a bunch of interesting bonus content.

Die Laughing Records present their new signing Slamdinistas! The first single for the label, "Little Troublemaker (Live)", is the killer tune made famous by Ian McLagan of The Faces on his 1979 solo LP. This blistering live version burns hot with Slamdinistas love for all things Faces and Stones - the sparks fly high off this rock ‘n’ roll gem.
Hark back to the glory days of '70s rock ‘n’ roll as Slamdinistas deliver a sound that perfectly blends US and UK influences of the era.
Slamdinistas bring raw, in-your-face, street rock and roll. Their song "Brand New Day" recevied massive radio respect, including regular play on Rodney Bingenheimer’s Sirius XM radio show, Underground Garage. This, and their incendiary live show at a label honcho’s Halloween Birthday Bash brought Slamdinistas to the attention of Die Laughing Records / Golden Robot Records. What next? The prestigious label signed them immediately.
Each band member has made claim to his own piece of music history – as they say, guilty by association!
Vocalist Gabriel Johns is a longtime singer / songwriter, LA club booker, and has worked with his own bands Shelter, and FiDo.
Guitarist / producer Loren Molinare is a Michigan transplant whose band, The Dogs, left a serious mark on the seminal Detroit punk rock scene. He's also played with Little Caesar and Michael Des Barres & The Mistakes.
Guitarist Michael Gavigan has played on and produced recordings by The Blessings.
Bassist Paul Ill has recorded and performed with The Willie Dixon Family Band, Tina Turner and Linda Perry.
Drummer Brian Irving has worked with Chris Spedding, Gilby Clarke, and Glitter Trash.
These fine gents, whose collective roots grip deep in the LA rock scene, realized their studio chemistry worked so well, it's as if the band had several tours behind them. The sound born on those fateful sessions brings you: Slamdinistas!
