Los Angeles-based group, Silos, has dropped the new single “Gaslight” feat. The Haunt via Judge & Jury Records.
The song is inspired from experiences very close to band’s mastermind Ray Garrison, and emphasizes the importance of friends helping you see your current situation from an outside perspective, saving you from an unhealthy relationship.
Watch the video for "Gaslight" below.
“Based on true events, 'Gaslight' is inspired by someone who wanted to make you question your own reality to get what they wanted. If it wasn’t for a friend seeing through the situation from an outside perspective, I’d have fully given in. Ana from The Haunt had the perfect style to blend in and really captured the female perspective for the story. I started with the vocal hook then we sat down and wrote the music around that - It was a really cool reverse-engineering process of making a song!” - Ray Garrison of Silos
Silos was formed in 2022 by former DJ, producer and singer-songwriter Garrison. The band released its debut EP earlier this year, Insatiable which featured fan-favored singles “If I Fall,” “Mind Eraser” and title track “Insatiable.” A remix version of the EP, Insatiable Remixes Vol. 001, shortly followed with mixes from Garrison and Blvck Crowz. While based out of LA, the members of Silos hail from all over the world - bassist Philip Strange Nielsen (ex-Crazy Town) from Denmark, guitarist Nick Dromin from Ukraine, and drummer David Rehmann and guitarist Ramón Blanco Ariza hail from Spain; both formerly played as touring members for Grandson.
The Haunt is an American rock band from South Florida. The band consists of siblings, Anastasia Grace Haunt (lead vocals), and Maximillion Haunt (vocals, guitar and production), alongside Nat Smallish on bass guitar (formerly Beach Day). The band first gained recognition after the success of their debut EP, The Haunt EP, in 2018 and subsequent tours with rock band, Palaye Royale.
“Gaslight” was performed by Silos, The Haunt, Judge & Jury. Written by Raymond Garrison, Kevin Hissink, Nick Dromin, David Rehmann, Philip Nielsen, Ramòn Blanco Ariza. Produced by Ray Garrison, Howard Benson, Neil Sanderson, and Mike Plotnikoff. Mixing Engineer: Joe Rickard. Engineered by Mike Plotnikoff. Assistant Engineer: Brandt Sier. Edited by Paul DeCarli, Alex Krotz. Mastering Engineer: Niels Nielsen.

Modern punk and hardcore pioneers COMEBACK KID have shared their exhilarating new song and video "Disruption". The track serves as the second single, following "Trouble In The Winner's Circle" from the band's upcoming "Trouble" EP, set for release March 15 through SharpTone Records.
On "Disruption", the band has created a punk anthem with frenetic drums, punchy vocals, and explosive lyrics. The track is primed to incite circle pits and sing-a-longs in a live setting, and the accompanying video fittingly showcases imagery from COMEBACK KID's recent European tour.
Diving further into the song's lyrics, vocalist Andrew Neufeld states: "'Disruption' serves as our call to arms type song. It's about just getting through the next day, or the next step because it could all come crashing down at any given moment."
Produced and recorded by the band and John Paul Peters at Private Ear Recording in their hometown of Winnipeg during 2023, the "Trouble" EP is a testament to COMEBACK KID's unwavering commitment to pushing forward on their own terms. The band set out to create an almost palette cleanser from past material, leaning more upbeat, but still carrying the hard-hitting aggression they're known for. With mixing and mastering from Will Putney, you can hear the layers and depth of sound the band carved out in every track on the release. The four songs are a sonic blast, as bright melodies cross waves with thrashy riffs and riled-up vocals.
Originating in Winnipeg, Canada and first gaining recognition with their 2002 demo and the acclaimed "Turn It Around" in 2003, COMEBACK KID has consistently balanced a DIY ethos and dependability with a humanitarian approach, breaking down hardcore boundaries and elevating the genre to a global stage. Career-defining album "Wake The Dead" launched the band to new heights in 2005, and 2007 found Neufeld taking over vocal duties on the band's third full-length, "Broadcasting". Giving hardcore notoriety across the world, COMEBACK KID released four albums between 2011 and 2022, the latest being the highly praised "Heavy Steps" (Nuclear Blast). With the upcoming release of their "Trouble" EP and a packed touring schedule, 2024 is set to be another standout year for the five-piece.
COMEBACK KID is Andrew Neufeld (vocals),Jeremy Hiebert (guitar),Stu Ross (guitar),Loren Legare (drums) and Chase Brenneman (bass).

Bottom Seeker is a collection of 10 tracks where the band explores various influences and sounds from other genres, fused into a consolidated metalcore style. Similarly, the lyrics of each song tell the story of a different person facing their own difficulties and problems. All these characters have something in common: they are social outcasts struggling to find their place in society. From the homeless individuals regretting their life choices to a man battling his inner demons to keep on living.
Lord Of The Lost have unveiled an official music video for their song, “The Future Of A Past Life”, featuring Marcus Bischoff from German metalcore legends Heaven Shall Burn. The video features Bischoff performing alongside Lord Of The Lost, and closes the highly successful and eventful Blood & Glitter era with a bang. The contrast between the Heaven Shall Burn singer's growls and Chris Harms' clean vocals runs through the song and is impressively staged in the high-quality performance video.
Last weekend, Lord Of The Lost performed on the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise in the US, and this autumn, they will return to the US and Canada for their first tour there in over a decade. Until then, the band will keep busy with a packed summer of festivals and their fast-selling “15 Years of Lord Of The Lost” European tour, starting in Nuremberg next month.

Dutch metal sensation Beyond God recently signed a deal with Wormholedeath for their latest album, The Great Divide, which was released on December 8th, 2023.
They have released an official live video for "Cronos", the first track on the The Great Divide. Check it out below.
Since the release of their debut album, A Moment Of Black, in 2016, they embarked on a triumphant international tour, amassing an ever-growing global fan base. Their evolution continued with the release of Dying To Feel Alive in 2017, featuring aggressive riffs and a dynamic rhythm section, all while retaining their signature dark orchestral atmosphere and melodic vocal lines. A special acoustic album in 2019 reflected on their musical journey thus far. Now, they stand on the precipice of their third full-length metal album, promising an even more profound symphonic metal experience.
The Great Divide is an odyssey through the human psyche, a musical voyage that delves into the intricacies of time, love, memory, and existence. Each track intertwines with the next, creating a tapestry of themes that range from the captivating tales of Greek mythology in "Cronos" to the heart-wrenching aftermath of lost love in "After Love Ends."
Musically, The Great Divide embraces the darker, weightier realms of metal with fierce guitar riffs, thundering drums, and ethereal orchestral arrangements. Yet, it's Meryl Foreman's entrancing vocals that breathe life into these songs, evoking profound emotions in every note.
From the thought-provoking "The Great Divide" and "Coronation" addressing contemporary sociopolitical issues, to the deeply personal "A Siren's Cry" and "Aphantasia", exploring the depths of love, loss, and the human psyche, this album is a symphonic masterpiece. Beyond God offers a fresh take on the genre, revealing their formidable musical prowess and their power to convey compelling narratives.
Tracklist:

Although STONE TEMPLE PILOTS frontman Scott Weiland sang on the first ART OF ANARCHY album, 2015's self-titled effort, he never performed live with the group and distanced himself from the project before his death from an overdose of drugs and alcohol in December 2015 while on the road.
In July 2015, Vice Inc., whose chief executive officer and principal executive officer are Jon and Vince Votta, sued Weiland, alleging that he refused to help promote ART OF ANARCHY's debut LP and take part in music videos after agreeing to write and perform the lyrics for 10 songs for the disc. According to The Blast, Vice said that it paid Weiland $230,000 upfront for his work.
In March 2017, ART OF ANARCHY issued its sophomore album, "The Madness", featuring Scott Stapp on vocals. Less than a year later, the founders of ART OF ANARCHY sued Stapp for allegedly refusing to tour with the band and participate in promotional photo and video shoots and publicity events. That $1.2-million lawsuit was filed in New York State Supreme Court by Vice, which claimed to have paid the CREED singer $200,000 for services to be rendered, which he allegedly asked to be treated as a loan, for tax purposes.
According to Jon and Vince Votta, Stapp only performed at 18 concerts with ART OF ANARCHY in 2017 and was unwilling to appear at a scheduled video shoot in October 2017 on the deck of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on the Hudson River in Manhattan.
Stapp's failure to live up to his contract led to the cancelation of the group's recording contract at the end of October 2017, the complaint alleged.
Brazilian heavy act Hammathaz has released a music video for their new single “Dear Death”. The track was produced by Thiago Bianchi with mixing and mastering by Adair Daufembach.
The song addresses the “fear of knowing death,” written almost like a direct letter by expressing fears and sensations about death. With an aggressive sound that progresses to melodies and constructions never before explored by Hammathaz, “Dear Death” shows yet another different “face” of the band.

Get ready to rumble! Striker has a new music video, "Sucks To Suck," produced with Top Talent Wrestling Academy and featuring Harlon "The Healer" Abott and Marisa West. The video celebrates the release of the band's new album ULTRAPOWER, produced with Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Tallah, King 810), which is now available.
"Three days of training, four broken backs, and one trash can to the face. We're out here putting in the work in the name of HEAVY METAL!" adds the band.
ULTRAPOWER is the seventh full-length from Striker and follows their Juno Award-winning self-released record Play To Win (2018) unleashed on their label Record Breaking Records.
With the band writing material since 2018, ULTRAPOWER is a collection of Striker tinkering and exploring new avenues. From the album's opening track "Circle of Evil", a Malmsteen-esque metal banger about secret societies and the evil dealings behind closed doors to their previously released single "Best Of The Best Of The Best" serving up some big riffs and hockey arena vocals to "Blood Magic", which might be one of Striker's most progressive songs, taking cues from bands like King Diamond, with its unconventional structure and punctuated guitar solos. From the band delving into their obsession for late 80s AOR and pop rock with "City Calling", an ode to 1987, and bands like Toto and Kenny Loggins with their hook-powered albums. To fans experiencing the band's first attempt at a synth-wave track with "Live to Fight Another Day", this new offering sees Striker making a shredding love letter to the hard-rocking era of guilty pleasures.
The band comments on the album: "Starting with the album cover, we wanted the artwork to represent how we feel as a band right now. We are an engine that is fired up and ready to roll. We’re made of metal and our circuits gleam! The album itself is an amalgamation of 5 years of writing and exploring music. With influences from AOR to Speed Metal, Hardcore to Hair Metal, Steely Dan to Deathcore, you name it, it made its way into the album. In the end with the help of Josh Schroeder’s guiding hand, we melted it all together to present something uniquely Striker. Lyrically we’ve stuck to the Striker tradition of writing montage songs for movies that don’t exist, songs about our spiraling serfdom, and lyrics about the evils that lurk in the shadows."

Heavy metal act, Out Of Darkness, is excited to share the first details about its upcoming album. The new effort will be self-titled and its release date is set for February 23.
Out Of Darkness will feature 11 tracks for over 48 minutes of playing time. The album demonstrates the evolution of the band, showcasing a wide variety of styles and dynamics within the metal realm. While playing homage to bands like Iced Earth, Nevermore and Symphony X, the band also forged its own sound. The lyrical content can at times be personal and dark, though the overall message of the band is intended to be positive and uplifting. The intended audience would range from lovers of classic American progressive/power metal to fans of modern metal. The band has put their influences and growth thoroughly on display in their second release.

Out Of Darkness was formed in 2020 by Brent E. Smedley (former Iced Earth drummer and percussionist) and Eric Barrios, vocals and guitar. They released the debut EP Seize The Day that same year to much critical acclaim and began to grow their following. Playing live shows first in their home state of Florida, then followed up by doing three tours up the East Coast as far as New Jersey and even reaching as far West as Las Vegas. The song "Think Again" reached #23 on The Billboard Rock Indicator chart, #8 on the Foundations Rock Chart Top 10 Greatest Gainers and received substantial airplay on many FM radio stations throughout the United States. The band received over 100,000 views for the "I Surrender" video and has over 16,000 followers on Facebook. This epic metal masterpiece seeks to redefine their sound and broaden the spectrum of true heavy metal. This album features powerfully crafted songs with crushing riffs, catchy vocal melodies, thought provoking lyrics, and powerful rhythms that take the listener on an audio journey through dynamic and colorful musical soundscapes. It is Out Of Darkness's intention to become a legendary metal band like no other.

BEASTÖ BLANCÖ, the band comprised of Chuck Garric (longtime ALICE COOPER bassist) on guitars and vocals, Calico Cooper (Alice's daughter) on vocals, Brother Latham on guitar, Jan LeGrow on bass and Sean Sellers on drums, is back in 2024 with a new single, "Run For Your Life", produced by Chris Harms of LORD OF THE LOST. It's the first taste of their forthcoming new album, "Kinetica", coming later this year via COP International Records, that aspires to capture the visuals, energy, love, sex, sweat, robots, and raw animalistic essence that defines the band.
This adrenaline-fueled track "Run For Your Life" kicks things off with a sonic and lyrical call to face fears and trust bestial instincts. In the accompanying music video, BEASTÖ BLANCÖ charges full force into life amid intergalactic chaos, pursuing their cybernetic "Machine Girl" warrior Queen. The epic hunt unfolds, with the band's sound leading the charge. BEASTÖ BLANCÖ refuses to run, embodying the spirit of the less than perfect, the flawed, and the free.
Calico says: "'Run For Your Life' is a track about stamina. The sheer force of will it takes to dig deep and run from any black holes sucking you in. To not be crushed by the destruction. But to run hard and fast… for your life. You have the power to save yourself. And it's worth it."
BEASTÖ BLANCÖ features the electrifying collaboration of Nashville-based shock rockers Garric and high priestess Cooper, delivering an instant knockout blow. With an explosive sound and captivating visuals, "Run For Your Life" is the perfect balance of raw power and infectious melodies that showcases BEASTÖ BLANCÖ's refreshing authenticity as a beacon of genuine, unapologetic rock 'n' roll.
Adds Christian Petke, founder of COP International Records: "I have been working in the industry for over 30 years and I have never represented a band that is this focused and driven. BEASTÖ BLANCÖ's musicianship and professionalism is just mind-blowing. I am absolutely in love with their sound and energy; here is a band that effortlessly combines deep rock 'n' roll roots with 21st century attitude and technology. The icing on the cake is the fact that they are totally fun to work with."
In addition to the new music, BEASTÖ BLANCÖ has been confirmed for appearances at several European festivals this summer, including Wacken Open Air, Ur Rock and Plague Noir, with more dates coming soon.
