UNDEAD Change Name To UNDEAD PROPHECIES; “Voices Within” Video Streaming

UNDEAD Change Name To UNDEAD PROPHECIES; “Voices Within” Video Streaming

Back from the dead under the Undead monicker, the band have changed their name to avoid confusion with a music group from the living world and baptized themselves in blood - Undead Prophecies.

Undead Prophecies was founded by five individuals back from the dead with a similar musical vision who decided to gather reviving forces in order to honour authentic old school death metal as initially mastered by bands like Possessed, Morbid Angel, Celtic Frost, Master , Obituary, Death, etc. The latter being like one of the main godfathers to the genre, Undead Prophecies has particularly taken its root in Death’s majestic, slashing riffs, hammering tempos and those unique dominating guttural vocals .

Doing way more than paying tribute to their legends, Undead Prophecies have come up with quality songwriting, churning out very catchy arrangements and convincing material.

The band’s new "Voices Within" video is streaming below. The track is featured on the band’s False Prophecies album, out now.

False Prophecies tracklisting:

"Unborn"
"False Prophecies"
"Voices Within"
"Praise The Absurd"
"Castrate Humanity"
"Descending Souls"
"Unbound To Eternity"
"Emerging From The Depth"

ODIN'S COURT Set March Release Date For Deathanity (R3); “Manifest Destiny” Track Streaming

ODIN'S COURT Set March Release Date For Deathanity (R3); “Manifest Destiny” Track Streaming

US-based progressive rock and metal band, Odin's Court, has announced the re-release of their 2008 album, Deathanity (R3), for March 1st. Deathanity (R3) is a “reboot” of the original ProgRock Records album, consisting of a remix (original recording), new recordings (e.g., vocals), and a remaster.

Band leader Matt Brookins commented on the decision to revisit Deathanity: “This was an important album to the band - we worked hard independently, and then shopped it to labels. It was picked up by ProgRock Records (2008), and to date remains our best selling and most popular release. While we were, and still are, proud of what we did, there are some factors that made us want to revisit and improve the quality of the album… mainly, the addition of Dimetrius LaFavors (lead vocals), but also my improvements as an engineer and producer. Additionally, the concept of the album is becoming increasingly important in today’s world, so hopefully we will reach even more ears with this re-release. Stylistically, this album is heavy, progressive, and artsy.”

Check out the first single “Manifest Destiny” from Deathanity (R3) below:

Odin's Court lineup:

Matt Brookins - Guitarist, Keyboardist, Vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist
Rick Pierpont - Guitarist and Backing Vocalist
Dimetrius LaFavors - Vocalist
Gary Raub - Drummer, Percussionist, and Backing Vocalist
Jason Pierpont - Bassist

FRAMESHIFT Mastermind HENNING PAULY Posts Joyo Mjolnir Amp Head Demo Video Featuring Unreleased Song "Old Friends, New Enemies"

FRAMESHIFT Mastermind HENNING PAULY Posts Joyo Mjolnir Amp Head Demo Video Featuring Unreleased Song "Old Friends, New Enemies"

Frameshift mastermind, producer and guitar teacher Henning Pauly attended Musikmesse 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany back in April 2015 where he presented the new Mjolnir amp head from Joyo. He has checked in with the following update:

"It took a while, but I finally got around to producing a track with the Joyo Mjolnir. In this track I am only using the drive channel... that song doesn't need anything else. The song is from the unreleased third Frameshift album, the song is called 'Old Friends, New Enemies'."

Pauly spoke exclusively with BraveWords earlier this year and let us in on his Joyo endeavour:

"Here's the deal... we've developed a lunchbox amp - metal - pretty much similar to the Engl Ironball or Mesa Boogie Mini Rectifier, but obviously cheaper and more flexible in some ways. I know metal guitar players, so I convinced the company (Joyo) to not name this thing Thunder but instead name it Mjolnir because it kinda looks like the head of Thor's hammer. So, I went further. I had them send me two empty ones and actually turned them into hammers for the Musikmesse. We'll have two there, one being wielded by a two meter tall monster named Joachim, who will be dressed as Thor. The other one will be 'hammered' into a 4x12 behind him."

BLACK STONE CHERRY Stream New Song "The Way Of The Future"

BLACK STONE CHERRY Stream New Song "The Way Of The Future"

"The Way Of The Future" is the first song to be released from Black Stone Cherry's fifth studio album, Kentucky, which will hit stores on April 1st, 2016 via Mascot Label Group.

Frontman/guitarist Chris Robertson comments, "We are beyond excited to bring 'Kentucky' to you! Since the release of our debut, we have wanted to go back to the studio where it all began and it finally happened! The original studio owner/engineer, all of the great equipment and Black Stone Cherry have been reunited for what I feel has been the most unique album we've ever made. We took it back to where it started and something magical happened! These new songs are the heart and soul of who we were in 2006 and who we've become. There is something very special about these songs and I cannot wait for y'all to feel them!"

Guitarist Ben Wells elaborates, "This album is by far the heaviest, most aggressive album we've ever made. We went in focused, but not overly prepared. We wanted to leave room for creativity to grow in the studio and man did it happen! Lyrically we went to places that we think people will relate to, because it's all stuff that we have lived, or are living. This is the first album we've been able to fully self-produce and the result is an album jam-packed with 'in your face' riffs, huge drums, and bass that will shake your teeth."

Kentucky tracklisting:

“The Way Of The Future”
“In Our Dreams”
“Shakin' My Cage”
“Soul Machine”
“Long Ride”
“War”
“Hangman”
“Cheaper To Drink Alone”
“Rescue Me”
“Feelin' Fuzzy”
“Darkest Secret”
“Born To Die”
“The Rambler”
“I Am The Lion” (Bonus Track)
“Evil” (Bonus Track)

BraveWords scribe Aaron Small recently interviewed Black Stone Cherry guitarist Ben Wells about his band's forthcoming album Kentucky; an excerpt follows: “We wrote all the way up until recording; on the road and at home. Some songs we revisited, the first single that’s going to come out next year is a song that we wrote actually in 2010. Basically, the songs are 90% done once we get in the studio. We like to keep that 10% just to be creative and make up stuff as you go along.” To read the interview in its entirety, click here.

'A Christmas Cheers' From IRON MAIDEN (Video)

"A Christmas Cheers", an animated Christmas card created by artist Val Andrade for British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN as a gift to their fans celebrating an incredible 2015, is available below.

IRON MAIDEN's latest album, "The Book Of Souls", debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200, having shifted 75,000 equivalent album units in the week ending September 10. That equaled MAIDEN's highest rank ever, first achieved with 2010's "The Final Frontier".

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

In terms of pure album sales, "The Book Of Souls" landed at No. 3 on the Top Album Sales chart with first-week sales of 74,000 copies. This marks MAIDEN's best sales week since Nielsen Music started tracking sales in 1991.

"The Book Of Souls" is the sixth consecutive IRON MAIDEN studio album to show debut week sales growth. The band's 1998's "Virtual XI" set opened with 10,000 units, up from the 6,000 of 1995's "X Factor", and was followed by 2000's "Brave New World" (38,000), 2003's "Dance Of Death" (40,000), 2006's "A Matter Of Life And Death" (56,000) and the aforementioned "The Final Frontier" (63,000).

Released globally on September 4 through Parlophone Records (Sanctuary Copyrights/BMG in the U.S.), "The Book Of Souls" was recorded in Paris, France with producer Kevin "Caveman" Shirley in late 2014, with the finishing touches added earlier this year.

"The Book Of Souls" includes "Empire Of The Clouds", an 18-minute track penned by IRON MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson, who was recently given the all-clear after being diagnosed with a tumor on his tongue late last year.

The band announced in May that touring plans to support the album wouldn't happen until 2016 to allow Dickinson time to fully recuperate after his successful cancer treatment.

OMNIHILITY - Dominion Of Misery Due In February

OMNIHILITY - Dominion Of Misery Due In February

Hailing from the Willamette "Valley Of Death" amongst the woods of Eugene, Oregon, technical death metal outfit Omnihility returns with their third offering of audio carnage entitled Dominion Of Misery, scheduled for release on February 26th via Unique Leader Records.

The follow-up to 2014's Deathscapes Of The Subconscious, Dominion Of Misery was again captured at Castle Ultimate with famed producer Zack Ohren (Animosity, Suffocation, All Shall Perish) who continues to lead the charge by pushing the recorded boundaries in extreme music. Dominion Of Misery includes the maniacal artwork of Mark Cooper (Rings Of Saturn, Deeds Of Flesh, Master) who brings the entire package alive with his twisted Lovecraftian-meets-Giger inspired visuals.

Tracklisting:

"Morte Aeterna"
"Psychotic Annihilation"
"Immaculate Deception"
"Dementia Praedox"
"Dead Eden"
"Within Shadows"
"Reflections In Blood"
"Parasitic Existence"
"Necrotic. Consumption. Obsession"
"Dominion Of Misery"

Omnihility -- named for the absolute belief in nothingness -- manifests intense, brutal and technical death metal. A nod to the old-school past combined with the immense speed and accuracy of death metal present, all while subconsciously channeling energy from arcane sources to destroy the minds of the multitude, with the band's third release and second for extreme metal powerhouse Unique Leader Records, Omnihility ups the stakes with sheer technical prowess.

Dominion Of Misery pre-orders can be placed now at this location.

KHAZADDUM Streaming In Dwarven Halls EP In Full; “Thorin Oakenshield” Video Posted

KHAZADDUM Streaming In Dwarven Halls EP In Full; “Thorin Oakenshield” Video Posted

J.R. Tolkien-inspired death metallers, Khazaddum, have released the In Dwarven Halls EP. A full stream can be found below, as well as a video for the EP cut, "Thorin Oakenshield”.

Established in Milwaukee, WI in 2014, the band's goal was to create music that captured the epic feel and scope of storytelling comprising the immense Tolkien mythology. Drawing influences from death metal greats such as Nile, Morbid Angel, and Behemoth, Khazaddum carries on the tradition of both a technical and melodic approach in their music.

Featuring guitarist Alex Rausa (ex-Devolving Messiah), drummer Pete Kissane (Burial Ritual), vocalist Luka Djordjevic (ex-Promethean Parallax, ex-Carnal Befoulment), and bassist Tony Cannizzaro (ex-Splattered Cadavre, ex-Demented Tourment), Khazaddum absolutely shine on the EP's three stellar tracks. The In Dwarven Halls EP was recorded at Bell City Sound by Chris Wisco (ex- Jungle Rot) in late 2014. Originally started as a recording project, Khazaddum finally decided to become a full time live band in 2015 and released this beast of an EP.

Order the EP here.

Tracklisting:

“The Grey Thus Commands”
“Durin's Bane”

THY ART IS MURDER Parts Ways With Singer CJ MCMAHON

THY ART IS MURDER Parts Ways With Singer CJ MCMAHON

Australia's incendiary extreme musical export THY ART IS MURDER has parted ways with singer CJ McMahon.

Commented the remaining members of the band: "After much conjecture and ambiguity on his behalf, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce today that CJ is no longer a part of THY ART IS MURDER.

"We have worked so hard from day one to make this band what it is now and develop the reputation that we have and he had been there with us every step of the way.

"We like to think that even if someone doesn't like our music that they can at least respect our work ethic.

"This band has taken us to places we never thought we would see and to share stages with many bands we never thought we would get to play with or meet, let alone call friends. It is unfortunate that with our best year to date and our biggest paved out before us that he has decided to leave.

"All this being said, touring as hard as we do does take its toll on you physically, but, more importantly, mentally and emotionally.

"We are an underground metal band and have been so fortunate over the last two years to carve out a small income thanks to so many dedicated and generous fans around the world. For some people, it comes to a turning point in their life where that income is no longer enough for their personal goals, and that point has come for CJ.

"We would like to wish him all our best as he leaves the band and moves onward to start a family and new life with his loving fiancée.

"The four of us are continuing forward into 2016 for some of the biggest and best tours of our lives. We won't be slowing down or missing any shows. We head back out next month with PARKWAY DRIVE and ARCHITECTS throughout Europe and the U.K. and will be taking one of our favorite vocalists with us, Nick Arthur from MOLOTOV SOLUTION.

"THY ART is what we have done with all of our adult lives and we have put absolutely everything we have into the band and the friendship between the four of us. That friendship and drive to create extreme music is what has kept us together through thick and thin. Unfortunately, not everyone can share this fire."

THY ART IS MURDER's third album, "Holy War", entered the official Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) chart at position No. 7 — the highest-ever position for an Australian extreme metal act. The Sydney-based band has generated controversy for the strong anti-religious stance of the title track's video, as well as the album cover which features references to a suicide bomber.

"Holy War" was released in Australia via UNFD and in other parts of the world through Nuclear Blast. Produced and mixed by Will Putney (SUICIDE SILENCE, EXHUMED, THE ACACIA STRAIN), the CD was made available in various formats: digital; limited digipak + bonus track; assorted color vinyl; exclusive mail-order picture disc.

Recorded during the summer of 2015, it took members Mikael Sehlin (vocals), David Szücs (guitar), Anders Nyström (guitar), Michel Bärzén (bass), and Amit Mohla (drums) just three months to finish the eleven track opus with Kristoffer Folin (Plan Three) handling mixing duties at Purple Skull Media and again mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson (Scar Symmetry, Watain) at Panic Room in Sweden.

Degradead tracklisting:

"Afterlife"
"Victimize"
"A New Dawn"
"Morphosis"
"The Blinding Crusade"
"Say Your Last Goodbye"
"The Extinction"
"Dark Veil"
"Neglected"
"Grand Eternity"
"Killing Game"

After several busy years, topped by a phenomenal Wacken 2014, where the band played their biggest show ever in support of the album The Monster Within (2013), the members decided to focus on different things for a while.

It was during this time that Mikael Sehlin would become the singer of Engel, bassist Michel Bärzén would join Sonic Syndicate as a secondary band. This left founding member David Szücs feeling the need to leave the band, which he formed fifteen years prior, for good.

At a show in 2015 with Epica, in their hometown Stockholm, members of Degradead united once again and chose to keep on going and to record their fifth studio album during the summer of 2015 with or without David.

When David arrived at the venue to play the last gig with Degradead, they told him about their plans and he was asked to re-join the band and not to give up what he once started. This was the needed spirit; going back to their roots, working as a friendly unit again, and having fun playing the music they love. This night they entered the stage of Göta Källare as a solid band – having fun and kicking ass again!

Six weeks later the band entered the studio having only a handful of tracks ready. Anders, Mikael and David were constantly working on songwriting during this period, while Amit focused on the drum arrangements and Michel was looking into design and artwork ideas already.

Says David, “It´s been a lot of work, but it gave us the spirit and feeling back. All of us working closely together has reminded us why we started together fifteen years ago and why Degradead still means the world to us.”

"Our fifth and self titled album is our heaviest and darkest so far, we have developed our music in a more technical and progressive direction, if you like death, black, thrash, progressive, melodic metal, this is an album for you!"

To date, the band has toured throughout Europe supporting thrash/speed metal stalwarts Overkill and Sacred Reich, completed several international tours including stops in Russia and India, and more recently performed at Waken Open Air in 2014.

ASPHYX To Return To Studio In January

ASPHYX To Return To Studio In January

Dutch doom/death metal veterans ASPHYX will return to the studio in January to "finish composing and arranging the final pieces" for their follow-up to 2012's "Deathhammer". The forthcoming CD will mark the recording debut of the band's new drummer, Stefan Hüskes, who replaced Bob Bagchus in early 2014.

Says ASPHYX vocalist Martin Van Drunen: "2016 will definitely see another brutal ASPHYX album in our own particular style."

ASPHYX recently completed a South American tour, the band's first run of dates on the continent in more than twenty years.

A video recap of the tour can be seen below.

"Deathhammer" entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 67. The CD was released in February 2012 via Century Media Records.

Recorded at The Mörser Studio as well as at Harrow Studio with ASPHYX's longtime engineer Harry Wijering, "Deathhammer" was mixed and mastered in Sweden by Dan Swanö, who previously worked with the band on "Death…The Brutal Way" and "Live Death Doom" releases.

JASON BONHAM Believes LED ZEPPELIN

JASON BONHAM Believes LED ZEPPELIN 'Will Play Together Again'

Jason Bonham says that he thinks the surviving members of LED ZEPPELIN will play together again.

Bonham was able to live out all of his LED ZEPPELIN fantasies when he performed as part of the band on December 10, 2007 at London's O2 Arena.

Jason, who's currently on tour with his critically acclaimed LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE production, tells Michael Christopher of Vanyaland: "In my heart of hearts… I do believe we will play together again. It remains to be seen if it will be in public or privately, but I do think we will play again."

Regarding what made the now-legendary 2007 concert so perfect, Bonham said: "What made the O2 so perfect was the preparation. Every other time, we really just got together in an afternoon and gone over a couple songs and that was it. For the O2, we blocked out rehearsals for six weeks; Monday through Friday four hours a day. A lot of it was talking as well about how we wanted it to be. We did the first three songs, so it was like clockwork, like a first-turn crash in a car race. If we can get past the first turn scot-free, then the rest of the gig will be great. That was very important to all of us to be comfortable on those three songs — and it worked. It really did, and it shows in the show."

Bonham, who received raves for his performance, recalled the thrill of sitting behind the drums for his dad and playing the one-off gig. He said: "I'm my own worst critic of myself, so there are things I would've changed, but as a whole, I was really pleased that I could play that day and have a good gig when it was really necessary. Everything I set out to do, from the tempos to little notations I had, I remember reading a review that said, 'Tempos,' and he ticked every box, everything that I was trying to achieve. So I was grateful that people noticed what I was trying to do, and that really made me feel good. I can't add anything to the greatest drummer in the world, but what I can do is represent him in the best possible way."

He continued: "It's a tough one, 'cause you sat in the greatest drummer in the world's seat, and it's your Dad's seat. There's part of me that was going, 'God, I wish he was here to see this.'And then the other part says, 'But if he was, you wouldn't be playing it.' [Laughs] Somebody said to me the other day, 'If your Dad walked in the room now and you have to play him three songs from that performance to impress him, Which songs would you play him?' It would be 'In My Time Of Dying', 'Nobody's Fault But Mine' and 'Kashmir'. Those three, I'd be happy to sit with him and say, 'What you think Dad? Did I do alright?'"

Swiss All-Girl Heavy Metal Band BURNING WITCHES Releases Another Song

Swiss All-Girl Heavy Metal Band BURNING WITCHES Releases Another Song 'Creator Of Hell'

Swiss all-girl heavy metal outfit BURNING WITCHES has released another song, "Creator Of Hell", via its official YouTube channel. Check it out below.

BURNING WITCHES' new recordings are being produced by DESTRUCTION bassist/vocalist Schmier.

The ladies are currently looking for a label to release their debut album, tentatively due before the end of next year.

Says Schmier: "Those ladies sound original, fresh and heavy! I love the classical heavy metal influence and the [Rob] Halford-inspired vocals! I'll try to help them a bit with all my studio experience, give them confidence in their own sound and performance! It's a fun project. Normally, I have those smelly dudes around me ...haha!"

He continues: "I'm producing with my old buddy V.O. Pulver (POLTERGEIST, GURD, PANZER). We are like a well-oiled machine. He also works with us on the new DESTRUCTION record!

"The BURNING WITCHES will sure get their fans. Their sound, in between classical [JUDAS] PRIEST and U.S. power metal like ICED EARTH, caught my attention right away."

BURNING WITCHES was founded during spring 2015 in Brugg, Switzerland, by guitar player Romana Kalkuhl. It has always been her big dream to perform with a women's heavy metal band on stage. During the music university studies, she already started her first group together with Kevin Schaffer, with whom she has recorded two albums and played several concerts.

In 2015, Romana started to look for talented ladies for the new combo. Jeanine Grob (bass), a longtime friend, became the first official member. At a party at a festival, Romana met Seraina Telli (singer) for the first time. It clicked right away betweens the two girls, on a musical and on a personal level. Seraina brought in many ideas and a lot of experience because of her studies at the Music Academy and her band SURRILIUM. The guitarist and the singer became a great songwriting team right away.

Romana wrote Schmier from DESTRUCTION about her new project, and the ladies brought him onboard as a producer/consultant.

After an intensive search and different auditions, BURNING WITCHES found Lala Frischknecht the perfect drummer for the all-girl metal band. Since summer 2015, the girls have been working hard on new material and in autumn 2015 they recorded the first three songs with Pulver at Little Creek Studio (PANZER, PRO-PAIN, DESTRUCTION).

BILLION DOLLAR BABIES To Release Chemical God Album In February; “The Junkies Ball” Video Posted

BILLION DOLLAR BABIES To Release Chemical God Album In February; “The Junkies Ball” Video Posted

Having a well-earned reputation as one of Sweden’s most entertaining and explosive live acts, hard rockers Billion Dollar Babies are set to release their new studio album, Chemical God, on February 5th via Metalville Records.

Formed as the unruly brainchild of lead vocalist Frankie Rich in 2005, Billion Dollar Babies also features Pat Kramer (guitars, vocals) and Max Lander (guitars, vocals). Over the last decade and more than 200 concerts all over Europe, fans have learned to expect nothing less than the best from the band, who have been heavily influenced by big spectacle US rockers such as KISS, W.A.S.P, Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper.

Chemical God was recorded under the guidance of well-known producer Rikard Löfgren (Mustasch, Enforcer, Sister Sin) and is above and beyond everything the band has released before.

The album opens the curtain on a sinister but oh-so-tempting stage set from a dark musical with massive guitar riffs and strong melodies. Basic tracks were recorded by Erik Berglund at BoomTown in Borlänge, Sweden live in the studio to capture as much as possible of the band’s on-stage energy. Vocals, overdubs and mixing were done at Leon Music.

Chemical God tracklisting:

“I Want To See You Burn”
“Everyone’s In Love With A Chemical God”
“The Junkies Ball”
“One ”
“Why Don’t You Put Up A Fight”
“Election Day”
“President Payne”
“When The Light Goes Out”
“The Nightmare Began”
“The Man I Am”
“House Of Dreams”

MYLES KENNEDY Loves Being In Both ALTER BRIDGE And SLASH

MYLES KENNEDY Loves Being In Both ALTER BRIDGE And SLASH's Band

PepsiMTVIndies recently conducted an interview with ALTER BRIDGE and SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS singer Myles Kennedy. You can now listen to the chat in several parts below. A couple of excerpts follow (transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET).

On singing for both ALTER BRIDGE and Slash:

Myles: "Look, when it first happened a few years ago, I was in ALTER BRIDGE and then Slash reached out to me, I had no idea that it was gonna turn into this. I thought it was gonna be like we were gonna tour for a summer, and then everything just kind of took off and started going really well. So, five years later, it's been just non-stop — tour, record with one band and then the same thing with the next. And if I didn't love it so much, I think I'd be totally just beat up at this point. But I love it. I get to stand on stage, I get to create, I get to play with Slash, who's crazy good, and my bandmates in ALTER BRIDGE. I'm a lucky guy, so I'm not complaining. It's all good."

On the differences between the songwriting process in ALTER BRIDGE and SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS:

Myles: "With Slash, the melodies and lyrics in this band are… That's pretty much my deal. Slash will come in with music arrangements, and it's cool — it's like having this really great canvas to get the melody over and then put a story to it with a lyric. With ALTER BRIDGE, Mark [Tremonti, guitar] and I both bring in music and melodies and lyrics, and we kind of… It's more like a puzzle. I was just working on some stuff in my hotel room; he sent me some ideas this morning. So it's like a riff and a chorus or a verse, and then I'll hear it and go, 'Oh, I hear the song continuing this way with this part.' So it's a different process, but because they're so different, it keeps it really exciting for me as a writer. And it's not like the same thing, and it keeps it fresh."

On the name "Myles Kennedy" being a "brand":

Myles: "Yeah, it's funny you should bring that up — the whole brand thing. That's something I started thinking about, about a year ago. I was talking with a friend and she brought that up, about the idea of a brand. 'You have a brand.' And I was, like, 'Wow! That's a new twist on things.' I always just thought of myself as a musican. But I guess that's the world we live in — everybody's kind of got their brand, especially with social media, and you have control over your brand through how you post on Instagram, how you have your voice on Twitter. And it's something that, I admit, I have a lot of work to do — quote-unquote to maintain my brand. 'Cause I'm so focused on the music that I feel like sometimes I let my brand kind of… I don't focus on that. Some people are pros at that. Say what you will about the U.S. Kardashian family, they've done a tremendous amount with their brand, just through social media. I'm not sure what their talent is, but it's all just taking that and utilizing it, and that's something that I'm trying to get better at."

Interview clips (audio):

This is your first time in India. What do you think of the people and the place?

Food is a big part of Indian culture. What did you think of it during your time in India?

How do you manage writing, recording and touring with two successful bands?

How different is it working with ALTER BRIDGE and Slash?

Globally, the name "Myles Kennedy" is now a brand. What's your take on that?

Your first performance in Mumbai was probably the best the city has ever seen. How was your experience and what are you taking back from it?

What do you include in your vocal warm-up routine?

What advice would you give to every vocalist?

Does being a guitarist help with being a better vocalist?

Where do you see music going globally?
