XANDRIA Releases Lyric Video For 'We Are Murderers (We All)' Feat. SOILWORK's BJÖRN 'SPEED' STRID
The lyric video for the song "We Are Murderers (We All)" from German/Dutch symphonic metallers XANDRIA can be seen below. The track, which features a guest appearance by Björn Strid (SOILWORK), is taken from the band's new album, "Theater Of Dimensions", which will be released on January 27, 2017 via Napalm Records.
Commented the band: "After the release of 'Sacrificium', we embarked on our longest tour so far. Over 150 shows that took us around the globe. Through so many different countries and diverse cultures. Through so many different, yet inspiring dimensions. We brought back plenty of memories, sometimes just bits and pieces, but those stuck to our heads. And it made us see who we are and where we wanted to take our music. Made us fearless. "Theater Of Dimensions" is described in a press release as "a hyper-emotional affair — and a very heavy one too, naturally. High-class guest vocals can be heard by mighty Henning Basse (FIREWIND), Zaher Zorgati (MYRATH), Björn Strid (SOILWORK) and Ross Thompson (VAN CANTO). There is a soundtrack-like, orchestral finesse inherent to the compositions, echoed by pounding groove and sophisticated shredding. Folklore and ballad chime in ('Forsaken Love'), heavy thrash rears its ugly head ('We Are Murderers (We All)'), and overall there is no doubt: XANDRIA are not only fearless, they are at their most entertaining and thrilling!"

XANDRIA released an EP, "Fire & Ashes", in July 2015. The effort contained three brand new songs — "Voyage Of The Fallen", "Unembraced" and "In Remembrance" — as well as re-recordings of two all-time favorites of the band's fans, "Ravenheart" (originally recorded for the album "Ravenheart" in 2004) and "Now & Forever" ("India", 2005). Cover versions of SONATA ARCTICA's "Don't Say A Word" and Meat Loaf's "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" were also be included on the EP.
XANDRIA's sixth album, "Sacrificium", was released in May 2014 via Napalm Records.
XANDRIA in 2013 parted ways with their singer of three years, Manuela Kraller, and replaced her with Dutch vocalist Dianne Van Giersbergen, who also fronts the progressive metal outfit EX LIBRIS.
Dianne Van Giersbergen made her live debut with XANDRIA at the end of November 2013 on a Spanish tour.

Забота о Земле - дело,конечно, хорошее, но, в музыкальном отношении куда всё делось? Который по счёту релиз уже ни о чём. Ползли бы они лучше на коленях с поклоном к своей бывшей вокалистке, может хоть она их оживит, тем более, похоже, ни чем не занята.
Пожалуй, соглашусь с blacksnake. При всей моей любви к старому творчеству Ксандрии, это уже прошедший этап. Их первая вокалистка была хороша... в то время. Но сейчас у нее, похоже, кризис - она выглядит и звучит не очень хорошо. Сольников нет, только унылые демки, а значит, человек совершенно не развивается и ничего не делает для дальнейшей карьеры в музыке. Ксандрия уже переросла ее в творческом плане. Тем более, предыдущий полноформатник с Дианой был очень хорош.
Что касается материала.... Песня не понравилась - у Дианы прекрасное лирическое сопрано, но здесь манера пения очень эстрадная и совершенно не подходит ей по тесситуре. Слишком низко и, поэтому, не слышно ее красивого тембра. Это очень опечалило.
По стилистике... Слишком уж напоминает последние работы Эпики. Если предыдущий альбом был выдержан в более "раннем" духе голландцев - что прекрасно вязалось с голосом Дианы, то сейчас идет явное наследование позднего их творчества. Здесь это не особо уместно. Как-то так.
