HOAXED Release “The Knowing” Music Video

Hoaxed unveil their captivating and catchy debut full-length, Two Shadows, officially out in two weeks on October 28. Today, Hoaxed share the third and final single “The Knowing”.

Hoaxed comment: "It's human nature to be curious about the path your life will take and how you can influence it. This song cautions around digging into practices you don't understand. 'The Knowing' music video was a unique undertaking. We always edit our music videos ourselves, but we took it a step further this time: creation of 'The Knowing' music video was, start to finish, just the two of us."

Comprised of vocalist / guitarist Kat Keo and drummer Kim Coffel, Hoaxed's superlative blend of styles - heavy melodic rock with captivating hooks, gothic undertones, undeniable metal, and tinges of Americana - pave the way for a singular expression that’s entirely their own.

Two Shadows is out October 28 on LP/CD/CS/Digital. Physical pre-orders are available via Relapse.com. Digital downloads/streaming/pre-save here.

Two Shadows is as unique as it is memorable and catchy. The record thrusts, retreats, and beguiles across its melody-powered and hook-driven expanse, with earworms “The Call,” “Guilty Ones,” and “The Knowing” serving as the album’s crucial lighthouses.

HAMMERHEDD Reveals "Tunnel" Music Video, Prepares For Tour With IN FLAMES

Fraternal thrash metal trio Hammerhedd are back with their first new track since the release of their 2021 debut album, Grand Currents. The Kansas City-based band has issued the music video for "Tunnel", which can be seen below.

Speaking about the influence on their latest single, the Ismert brothers share: “We wrote this song about a year ago while listening to The Police nonstop. There’s Stewart Copeland-influenced drums, a few Andy Summers-type chord shapes, and a Sting-style bass riff in the midsection. Aside from that, we (as usual) took heavy influence from Tool, Meshuggah, Mastodon, etc. - the gods of the newer generation of metal, as well as the classics; Rush, Zeppelin, Floyd, etc. We like to think we put these influences together in a way that sounds new, fresh, and uniquely Hammerhedd."

Hammerhedd is very excited to play "Tunnel" on their upcoming shows with In Flames! The band will join forces with the Swedish metal juggernauts starting October 17 in St. Petersberg, Florida. A complete list of dates are as listed.

October
17 - St. Petersburg, FL - Jannus Live
18 - Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Culture Room
20 - Richmond, VA - The National

22 - Cleveland, OH - Temple Live
24 - Niagara Falls, NY - The Rapids Theatre
26 - Hampton Beach, NH - Wally's
27 - Poughkeepsie, NY - The Chance Theater

CADAVERIA Unveil "The Sky That Screams Above Us" Video

Italian horror metal veterans Cadaveria share their latest video for "The Sky That Screams Above Us". The dark and atmospheric new hymn is taken from the band's sixth full-length record Emptiness, out now via Time To Kill Records.

The simplicity of the shots, taken in the studio during the recording of the song, and the particularity of the vertical format (suitable for smartphones) come together in the new video. Another example of the synthesis of contrasts of which the band is master.

“The Sky That Screams Above Us” is the eleventh track from “Emptiness", an album graphically based on black and white dualism and musically characterised by the continuous chase of clean and growl vocals, by thrash metal outbursts and doom metal cadences, by black metal and classic metal riffing.

The album cover art was created by Roberto Toderico (Asphyx, Arch Enemy, Dark Funeral). Emptiness can be streamed here, and purchased in black / white double vinyl, CD, and cassette formats at this location.

Tracklisting:

“The Great Journey”
“Shamanic Path”
“Emptiness”
“The Woman Who Fell To Earth”
“Divination”
“Matryoshcada”
“Silver Rain”
“The Cure”
“Life After”
“La Casa dell’ Anima”
“The Sky That Screams Above Us”
“Return” (Deine Lakaien cover) (vinyl bonus track)

Watch: TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS And SIMON WRIGHT Perform RONNIE JAMES DIO And JUDAS PRIEST Classics At METAL GODS Tour Kickoff

METAL GODS, described as the ultimate ode to JUDAS PRIEST and DIO featuring Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, KK'S PRIEST) and Simon Wright (AC/DC, DIO),kicked off its Australian tour last night (Friday, October 14) in Brisbane. The METAL GODS band also features the talents of James Morley, former bassist with THE ANGELS, and Joel McDonald, known for his work with ROSE TATTOO and various members of KISS.

METAL GODS is performing all the hits from Ronnie James Dio's catalog with BLACK SABBATH and RAINBOW, as well as Dio's solo classics such as "Holy Diver" and "Rainbow In The Dark".

This past May, Owens told the "Everblack" podcast about the METAL GODS tour: "It's not a normal tour for me. I'd like to come there and play a solo tour as well. But these kinds of shows are fun. I love singing Dio. It's gonna have not my typical type of set with PRIEST, but it'll have a couple of my-era PRIEST songs in it. James has set this whole thing up, and it's really gonna be a good time.

"Dio stuff, I love singing it, but it tears me down, man," Tim admitted. "It's not my regular stuff. Even though I sound like it's right in my wheelhouse when I sing it, it's not.

"It's a great setlist we've put together — RAINBOW, SABBATH, DIO, PRIEST," Owens added. "It's gonna be a really good show."

Remaining tour dates:

Oct. 15 - Bridgeway Live - Adelaide, SA
Oct. 16 - The Corner Hotel - Melbourne, VIC
Oct. 21 - Manning Bar - Sydney, NSW
Oct. 22 - Badlands - Perth, WA

Owens joined PRIEST in 1996 after being discovered when the band's drummer, Scott Travis, was given a videotape of him performing with the PRIEST cover act BRITISH STEEL. JUDAS PRIEST at the time was seeking a replacement for Rob Halford. The Ohio-based singer created two studio albums with the British heavy metal legends — 1997's "Jugulator" and 2001's "Demolition" — before the band reunited with Halford.

In 2019, Owens told Ultimate Guitar that he believes his era of JUDAS PRIEST is largely overlooked. "Yeah, I think it definitely deserves more [attention]," he said. "I mean, they don't do anything. [Laughs] It's kind of amazing that they just totally erased it that they won't play... I mean, 'Burn In Hell' [off 'Jugulator'], the crowd would like to hear 'Burn In Hell'.

"They don't have to give me a tribute or anything, but it would be nice to play a song from... You know, that was a pretty big thing; I did two studio records, two live records, and a DVD, starting from '96 to 2004," he continued. "So it's kind of crazy that it's just been erased and they won't even play a song from it live, because it is JUDAS PRIEST."

Wright, most recently a member of DIO DISCIPLES and also known for his work in DIO, RHINO BUCKET and UFO, lasted in AC/DC for six years. Wright, a then-unknown drummer whose first credits included Manchester, England metal outfit A II Z, joined AC/DC in time for the touring cycle for "Flick Of The Switch" and played with the Australian rockers throughout the '80s before leaving to join DIO in 1989.

Four years ago, Wright told the WSOU 89.5 FM radio station that Dio played a "massive" role in his career. "When I joined [DIO] in 1990, it was a little. short [run]," he explained. "[I] was only about three years with him when I first joined. And then I rejoined again in '98. And I ended up moving into his house. There were a few people staying there as well. I went through a horrible divorce — blah blah blah — and I was gonna quit. I said, 'I'm going back to England. I've had enough of all this. I'll stop playing drums.' So he said, 'No, don't do that. Just come over and just hang at my place and stuff, and get your head together.' And I ended up staying there for about 14 years. [Laughs] So he was quite a big part of my life. We got to know each other. We kind of bonded a bit more. We did a lot of work on the house together — not doing music, but just building things and stuff. And I looked after him a lot when he got really, really sick at home."

Wright went on to say that Ronnie's death 12 years ago was "a massive loss to me and to a lot of people. He was such a clever, smart, funny, funny guy. And what a singer and what a songwriter — you know, amazing."

Asked what it was like living with Ronnie for such a long period, Simon said: "It was good at the house. He had a studio downstairs and stuff. And when the writing process started for the albums, that was always great. He had some incredible ideas. To actually be there and see that process happening was something I'll never forget. It's amazing stuff."

Ronnie passed away of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010 at the age of 67.

Watch: ACCEPT Performs Without Singer MARK TORNILLO In Toronto

German/American heavy metal legends ACCEPT performed without lead singer Mark Tornillo last night (Sunday, October 16) at The Phoenix in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The 68-year-old Tornillo, who joined ACCEPT in 2009, was reportedly forced to sit out the gig because he was having vocal issues and could have risked losing his voice had he gone ahead with the performance.

ACCEPT played an hour-long set in Toronto, with bassist Martin Motnik and drummer Christopher Williams handling some of the vocal parts. Fan-filmed video can be seen below.

Tornillo joined ACCEPT as the replacement for the band's original lead singer, Udo Dirkscheider. He can be heard on ACCEPT's last five studio albums, "Blood Of The Nations" (2010),"Stalingrad" (2012),"Blind Rage" (2014),"The Rise Of Chaos" (2017) and "Too Mean To Die" (2021).

ACCEPT's North American tour, featuring support from NARCOTIC WASTELAND, kicked off on September 29 in Nashville, Tennessee and is scheduled to conclude on October 29 in Columbus, Ohio.

In a 2018 interview with Metal Shock Finland, Tornillo stated about what it was like to first join ACCEPT: "It was frightening. When we first announced what was going to happen, there was really not many people on board with it. Online, there was a lot of naysayers, a lot of badmouthing. It was very disheartening. We all sat down and said, 'Look, we have to make an amazing record, or else we're gonna die here. This is going to be a swansong. We have to make an amazing record.' And that's what we did. We spent a lot of time writing 'Blood Of The Nations' and a lot of time recording it, and I think in retrospect, it paid off. If that album wasn't what it was, we wouldn't be here."

Asked about fans who have yet to "accept" him, Mark said: "Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I'm a purist too with certain things. I get it. But I think we've moved on. We're almost a different band at this point. We really are a different band at this point. We still pay tribute to the old ACCEPT by playing the old songs — I mean, we have the two people that wrote most of the songs, [so] we have to. That's always going to be part of ACCEPT's history. You can't change it. All we can change is the future. But everyone's entitled to their opinion, and I get it. I wish them all well, and I wish Udo well, and his band, you know. No hard feelings on my part, that's for sure."

Asked about ACCEPT's overall approach since he came into the group, Tornillo told "That Jamieson Show": "Basically, [we went] back to what we did in the '80s — what everybody did back in the day. The whole thing was, when I joined the band, Wolf [Hoffmann, guitar] did not want the band to rest on its laurels and only go out and play the classics. He wanted a real band. So we've been album-tour, album-tour — like it always was."

Mark also talked about his musical personal chemistry with Hoffmann, who is the sole remaining member from ACCEPT's classic lineup.

"It's grown quite a bit, actually," he said. "We've got a great mutual respect for each other and for our talents. This album ['Too Mean To Die'] was a total collaboration. This is the first ACCEPT album without Peter, so that was a big gap to fill. But everybody stepped up. Our [new] bass player Martin Motnik contributed quite a bit to this album."

“Accept Mark Tornillo does not perform in Toronto which appears to be due to vocal issues or sickness” (more to...

THESE WICKED RIVERS Issue Psychedelic New Video "Testify"

Derby's hard rocking sons These Wicked Rivers have released a new version of fan-favourite bluesy-rock anthem "Testify", available via all streaming platforms as well as on physical CD at shows. The track is accompanied by a brand new video featuring live footage from the band's hugely successful festival season which includes stand out performances at Steelhouse and Stonedead festivals.

First recorded back in 2015, the band have since upped the ante in every dimension, adding new members, new instruments and bigger, better production for the 2022 release.

Singer John Hartwell explains: "We originally recorded the song for our EP II but we never really felt that our early recordings fully captured our live sound. Since Rich joined the band he has added harmonica, organ and vocal harmonies which have brought the song to the next level, so we wanted to bring the recorded version up to date and make it sound more like 'us.' It's quite a naughty song about a sexual connection that makes the experience feel almost like a religious awakening - it always goes down really well at shows."

Guitarist Arran Day continues: "We really feel that the songs have grown such much over the past two years, as have we as a band. By re-recording 'Testify' it is us planting our hippie flag in the ground; this is who we are now and we want you all to be part of the journey."

The release follows a busy summer for These Wicked Rivers, which saw them in the studio working on the follow-up to their debut album Eden, and touring all over The UK building a rapidly growing "family" of devoted followers.

With new music currently being road-tested at live shows, be sure to catch the band at one of the following dates this Autumn:

October
18 - Portsmouth, England – Wedgewood Rooms
19 - Bath, England – Komedia
20 - Swansea, Wales – Patti Pavilion

26 - Gloucester, England – Guildhall
27 - Tunbridge Wells, England – The Forum
28 - Horsham, England – Rec Rooms

Watch: Ex-MEGADETH Members ELLEFSON, YOUNG And POLAND Bring 'KINGS OF THRASH' Tour To Las Vegas

Former MEGADETH members David Ellefson (bass) and Jeff Young (guitar) played the third show of the KINGS OF THRASH "The MEGA Years" tour last night (Friday, October 14) at The Space in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were joined at the concert for several songs by another former MEGADETH member, Chris Poland (guitar). Fan-filmed can be seen below (courtesy of YouTube user Timothy Rusling).

KINGS OF THRASH, which also includes drummer Fred Aching as well as guitarist/vocalist Chaz Leon, performed MEGADETH's classic albums "Killing Is My Business… And Business Is Good!" and "So Far, So Good… So What!" in their entirety. Fan-filmed video is available below.

In a recent interview with Thomas S. Orwat, Jr. of the Rock Interview Series, Young was asked if he, Ellefson and Poland have gotten any reaction to the tour — either in the form of a blessing or an angry rebuke — from MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine. Jeff responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "We're really not concerned. I don't pay attention. I haven't really paid attention or followed MEGADETH since, I think, I heard the 'Rust In Peace' album a couple of times, and then what you might hear on the radio or in the press.

"For us, this isn't about any spite or retaliation; it's a celebration of the music that we were all a part of, that we helped create," he explained. "And it's fun for us to do this.

"People said, 'You should do this.' And we said, 'Hey, yeah, you're right. We should do this.' It's a win-win — it's a win for us, and it's a win for [Mustaine], because any performance royalties, anything… If we did include live tracks, he would make money off that. It's promoting albums that hopefully fans will go back and buy, which is putting money right in his pocket. Especially 'Killing Is My Business', I think a lot of people are gonna go back and wanna rediscover that album after this tour.

"For us, it's all about positivity," Young added. "We're all in this moment — we're living in the moment, and we're not looking beyond. We're not reading any of the comments on Blabbermouth or any of the stuff. Because we know what our intent is, and intent is everything. And our intent's positive. We like playing together. We know we're crafting original music. We're not relying on this; we don't need to ride the coattails of this. This is just something that the fans wanted, and you wanna give fans what they want."

Asked if he thinks MEGADETH deserves to be in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, Jeff said: "Well, that's funny. I got a letter from Dave Mustaine a few years ago. There's an episode on my 'Music Without Boundaries' [podcast] archives called 'I Got A Letter', and I read the letter. And I tell all the stories. So if people wanna hear all the gory details, they can go find that back episode. He was thinking they were gonna get [inducted into the Rock Hall] a couple of years [ago]. Maybe they will. He wanted me to be there. And as great as it would be to be there, I don't think I would wanna share that same energetic space with such an individual."

Circling back to the KINGS OF THRASH shows, Jeff said: "The cool thing is that Ellefson and Poland and me get to go do this thing without the toxicity in the room. I mean, who could have dreamed that it would have panned out this way? It's just one of those things that we just can't say no to it, it's so cool to do. And it sounds so good. Every time we leave rehearsal, we're just giddy… We didn't have that musicality back then, so to be able to have the luxury and the opportunity to play these songs these years later when we've had all this growth as musicians and as people, it's the coolest thing ever. I can't believe this is even happening. I'm kissing the ground every day. Chris and me together with our sounds on the same side of the stage, they complement each other so well."

Ellefson, Young, Poland, Leon and Aching commenced rehearsals last month in Los Angeles.

In a recent interview with Yes! You CAN Play Guitar!, Ellefson stated about how KINGS OF THRASH came together: "[Jeff] and I got along well. We roomed together a lot, 'cause back on the 'So Far, So Good… So What!' tour, band and crew was always shacking up, sharing rooms together. So he and I had spent a lot of time together. I did a lot of guitar playing with him; I learned a lot of stuff from him, which was fun. So now to connect with him all these years later… We connected through the [making of the upcoming] Nick Menza movie [about the late MEGADETH drummer], quite honestly. And I'd stayed in touched with him. We even jammed together once at a Ronnie Montrose tribute thing at NAMM a few years ago. So we've not been completely estranged from each other."

According to Ellefson, the idea for KINGS OF THRASH materialized after he and Young reunited on stage on May 10 at Ultimate Jam Night, the long-running community-oriented show in residency at the famed Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California, as part of a special tribute to the so-called "Big Four" of 1980s thrash metal — METALLICA, MEGADETH, SLAYER and ANTHRAX. The event marked the first time David and Jeff had played MEGADETH songs together on stage since the U.K.'s Monsters Of Rock festival on August 20, 1988. "That spawned, basically, the KINGS OF THRASH," he said. "It was, like, 'Wow! That was frickin' cool, and that was a lot of fun.'"

David went on to say that he started thinking about a way to perform some of MEGADETH's classic material last year. "This idea had come to me — and it came to me last fall," he explained. "I was at an autograph show on the East Coast, and people were bringing me 'Killing Is My Business' records left and right. And it just reminded me, this record needs to be played; it needs to be performed. Same as 'So Far, So Good… So What!' To me, those are kind of these two really special records that — they never went unnoticed, but they didn't get the big fanfare like 'Peace Sells' and 'Rust In Peace' and all this stuff. So, to me, I made it my mission. I was, like, 'You know what? Let's unearth these things and let's bring these up on the stage and play them.'

"[Jeff] told me, he said, after MEGADETH, I think he said he intentionally forgot how to play MEGADETH songs; he just wanted to move on," Ellefson continued. "'Cause when you come into the band, it is a deep dive and it is a heavy compression. You really have to live that music in and out, day in, day out, all the time in order to really grasp what it is. And he did that. And then when the gig ended for him, he moved on.

"He has been doing a ton of heavy lifting on [the KINGS OF THRASH]. He is really working with our singer Chaz, the drummer Fred to get through this stuff. Even he and Chris Poland are working on this thing."

David clarified that the intention behind KINGS OF THRASH is not to stick it to his former bandmates.

"This is a celebration, not a retaliation," he explained. "This is a good moment. This is a happy moment, to celebrate these songs and these tracks and these records. So we go at it with just fun… It's, like, 'Wow. Wouldn't it be fun if we went out and played these records?' And we're doing it. So it's meant to be this celebration and bringing people together. And honestly, that was kind of always my role in MEGADETH. Dave [Mustaine, MEGADETH leader] always called me 'The Ambassador', and I was always that guy, and I am that guy. So it's, like, let me just continue that role in our community and have one of good will."

Asked if there are plans for KINGS OF THRASH to play more shows after the already announced dates in October, Ellefson said: "I think so. That was the whole thing — let's pop four of these up, see if anybody cares. And it seems like everybody… The phone's blowing up — people are calling, the promoters are calling, and people wanna see it. It's interesting. It's cool. This is a deep dive into a very particular period of the band's history and catalog that may not get performed elsewhere. So it's, like, 'Hey, we'll do it.' And we're qualified. Certainly our resume and our pedigree and our history with the group — it's legitimate. And I've gotta say — it's fun, man. I think it's fun."

As for KINGS OF THRASH's approach to performing material that was originally written and recorded more than three decades ago, Ellefson said: "I've gotta say, man, 'Killing Is My Business', there is a lot of deep stuff on that record, but because of the tempos and because of the speed, a lot of that kind of gets a bit glossed over, because the production of the record wasn't super great, because we didn't have a lot of money to do it at the time. Now live, going into it, there are some rhythmic figures and some grooves that I think are coming out in a live setting that are so hip. There's this almost funk, kind of R&B vibe to some of the rhythms that are so cool.

"When we wrote those songs, especially 'The Skull Beneath The Skin' and even 'Looking Down The Cross', these songs were written very slow; the original tempos were [much slower]," he revealed. "So they were really cool. So one of the things we're focusing on is bringing out the sleazy, slinky, greasy groove that's in there — because it really is in there. And I think our drummer Fred is helping a lot with that. I think people are gonna really enjoy what they're gonna hear."

Remaining KINGS OF THRASH tour date:

Oct. 15 - West Hollywood, CA - Whisky A Go Go

The Whisky A Go Go concert came four months after Ellefson and Young reunited in Los Angeles for interviews to be included in the upcoming feature-length documentary "This Was My Life: The Story Of Nick Menza". Ellefson has signed on as a co-producer of the film, and also will provide narration to guide the viewer through the exploration of the late MEGADETH drummer's life.

In June, Ellefson told The Neurotic Guitarist that he and Young "have been working on a couple of new songs."

Ellefson was fired from MEGADETH nearly a year and a half ago after sexually tinged messages and explicit video footage involving the bassist were posted on Twitter.

David was in MEGADETH from the band's inception in 1983 to 2002, and again from 2010 until his latest exit.

In 2004, Ellefson filed an $18.5-million lawsuit against Dave Mustaine, alleging the MEGADETH leader shortchanged him on profits and backed out of a deal to turn Megadeth Inc. over to him when the band broke up in 2002. The lawsuit was eventually dismissed and Ellefson rejoined MEGADETH in 2010.

Young's entire career with MEGADETH was spent recording and touring in support of the band's 1988 platinum-selling album "So Far, So Good...So What!"

Jeff made headlines in December 2009 for accusing Mustaine of, among other things, "dissing, exaggerating and just plain lying on some level about nearly every talented musician that has passed through his dysfunctional little ensemble." He also disputed Mustaine's claim in an interview that Young's drug problem led to MEGADETH's 1988 Australian tour being called off and the group being "banned" from performing in the country.

Poland was a member of MEGADETH from 1984 to 1987, during which time he performed on the band's classic albums "Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!" and "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?" He is also a featured soloist on the group's 2004 album, "The System Has Failed".

Back in 2004, Poland and/or his management and attorney filed a lawsuit against Mustaine regarding the use of the three "Rust In Peace" demos on the album's reissue without Chris's permission. Chris eventually settled for $9,500 and thereby ended a professional relationship with Dave and MEGADETH.

For the past couple of decades, Poland's main musical focus has been the fusion band OHM:, which has released several full-length studio albums to date.

EVERFROST Release “Hacking To The Gate” Video Feat. SHIRO NEKO

Finnish symphonic power metal band Everfrost is sharing their next single "Hacking To The Gate" ft. Shiro Neko from their forthcoming EP of anime cover songs entitled Frostbites, which is due out on November 11 via Rockshots Records.

The band adds about the track:

"Steins; Gate is one of the highest-ranked anime series of all time and its opening song ‘Hacking To The Gate’ has become one of those unskippable OPs beloved by many anime fans. We chose this track for our anime covers-EP Frostbites as a nice surprise and also a chance to explore our capabilities as a band, as the song contains some quite unorthodox stylistic elements. This is an emotional show centered around science fiction, electronics, and most importantly time travel, so the song’s mix of colorful chords, strange sounds, and sci-fi-inspired effects create a thick, melancholic aesthetic that fits the theme perfectly. Our goal was to capture this and revamp it authentically in our powerful style. This definitely made it the most intricate and time-consuming track to put together, such as a piece like this deserves.

“For the vocals on this track, we had the pleasure of working with the insanely talented Shiro Neko, known for her incredible anime vocal covers on YouTube and working with other artists. Her vocal tone and impeccable Japanese pronunciation were essential in delivering this song. One aspect of the Frostbites EP we haven’t talked about much is the larger investment made in production this time around. From the time put into pre-production to the studios we used, up until the mixing and mastering processes, care was taken to bring the Everfrost sound to a whole new level. ‘Hacking To The Gate’ proved to be the song to showcase perhaps the best of all the tracks."

Preorder the EP on CD at the Rockshots Records webshop.

ELEINE Reveals “Ava Of Death – Acoustic” Video; New EP Out Now

Swedish dark symphonic metal outfit Eleine today unveils their long-awaited EP Acoustic In Hell, available now on Atomic Fire Records. The recording comes in advance of the band’s extensive seven-week European tour next, where they will showcase their biggest hits in an acoustic setting. Acoustic In Hell gives you a wonderful impression of the raw, passionate, and rocking nature of the unplugged versions so many fans are about to witness live on stage.

And if you thought that acoustic tracks don't allow for some headbanging, think again as the band's new music video for “Ava Of Death – Acoustic” will prove. Filmed inside the surreal location of an old castle's prison, the Landskrona Citadel, the clip is a very special one in the history of Eleine, as singer Madeleine Liljestam explains, "This is probably the best music video we've produced to date, and it's an acoustic one! We truly feel that no one should miss out on this pretty remarkable music video."

Recorded within only a week in January 2022 in their dear friend Thomas "Plec" Johansson’s The Panic Room Studio in Skara, Sweden, Acoustic In Hell gets elevated by a stellar performance courtesy of Liljestam who recorded all her vocals in just under three hours. More than anything, this shows the determination and the sheer will power with which things are done in camp Eleine. The EP will contain eight Eleine classics in a raw new acoustic gown.

Acoustic In Hell is available on CD, LP (Yellow-Orange-Red Marbled w/ hand-signed insert) and digitally. Find ordering options at this location.

An exclusive vinyl edition of the record (Blue-White-Black Marbled) with hand-signed insert will be sold on Eleine's acoustic tour starting October 20.

Three-time Grammy-nominated hard rock quartet, Nothing More, have released their new album, Spirits, worldwide via Better Noise Music.
