Watch LIMP BIZKIT Perform At Mohegan Sun Arena During 'Still Sucks Tour'

Fan-filmed video of LIMP BIZKIT's May 7 performance at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania can be seen below.

LIMP BIZKIT's month-long "Still Sucks Tour" kicked off late last month. The AEG Presents trek launched in the band's former home state of Florida and includes a stop in New York City at Madison Square Garden (May 13) as well as cross-country shows in Baltimore (May 15) and Las Vegas (May 28) before concluding with a Los Angeles-area date (Ontario on May 31). LIMP BIZKIT is being supported by SCOWL, WARGASM UK, $NOT, DYING WISH and YUNG GRAVY for various shows.

Later this year, LIMP BIZKIT will follow the U.S. shows with a European run of dates.

"Dad Vibes" arrived weeks after LIMP BIZKIT canceled all of its previously announced live appearances for 2021, explaining in a statement that it was doing so "out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans."

LIMP BIZKIT was scheduled to appear at several festivals last summer and fall, including Aftershock, Blue Ridge, Rebel Rock and Rocklahoma.

A few days after the summer 2021 shows were called off, LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fre Durst told Billboard about the decision: "In short, the system is still very flawed. Even if the performers, crews, staff, and promoters do their best to ensure safety on and behind the stage, that doesn't ensure the safety of the audience as a whole. We are all in this together, and we all — individually and as a whole — have to make our best efforts to be as responsible and proactive as possible moving forward to combat and stop spreading COVID."

Durst also denied that there was a specific incident that prompted him and his bandmates to pull the plug on the trek, saying it was "just perception."

Durst made headlines last July when he debuted his new look at the band's concert at Metro in Chicago, with the frontman now sporting wavy salt-and-pepper locks accompanied by a horseshoe-style mustache.

Last month, LIMP BIZKIT released the official music video for the song "Dad Vibes". The clip features cameos by STEEL PANTHER's Michael Starr and Stix Zadinia.

"Dad Vibes", which was originally premiered during the band's concert at Lollapalooza last July, appears on LIMP BIZKIT's latest album, "Limp Bizkit Still Sucks".

Prior to the arrival of "Limp Bizkit Still Sucks", LIMP BIZKIT had not released a new studio LP since 2011's "Gold Cobra", although the band has spent a lot of time writing and recording music over the past decade.

Watch: DANZIG Performs Entire 'DANZIG II: Lucifuge' Album In Ontario, California

DANZIG performed its entire 1990 album "Danzig II: Lucifuge" during its concert last night (Saturday, May 7) at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Fan-filmed video of the show can be seen below.

DANZIG's current U.S. tour, featuring support from CRADLE OF FILTH and CROBOT, launched May 5 in Reno, Nevada and will end on May 19 in Austin, Texas.

Nearly a decade after first floating the possibility of no longer hitting the road, Glenn Danzig recently hinted that this tour might be his last. "I don't think I'm going to tour anymore," he told Revolver magazine in a new interview. "I'm just going to fly out to a show here or there. I'll maybe be down to do some one-offs. But I just don't see myself getting on a tour bus anymore … Yeah. I think I'm done."

Danzig also stated that he is in no rush to make a new collection of original music. DANZIG's latest album, "Black Laden Crown", came out in May 2017 via Evilive Records/Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

"I write songs here and there," he said. "Lately, I seem to be writing more soundtrack stuff. I don't know that I'm ever going to do another album again. I might do an EP or I might just record some songs and put them out for free on the Internet. We'll see. It could be that right now I'm just not interested, and then a month from now I'll be in the studio. It depends. I've got to be excited about working in order to go do it. And right now I'm not that excited."

Glenn went on to say that there are "a bunch of different" reasons he is feeling less inspired to make new music. "I've been doing it so long, I've written so many songs — trying to get excited about it and bringing something new or something cool, it takes a little longer now," he said. "The other thing is that people are stealing music left and right. Nobody really buys music anymore. I still go in a real studio to record so I'm not some kid in my living room doing my record."

Acknowledging that "Black Laden Crown" seemed to be well received by his fans, Glenn said: "It came in Top 20 in Billboard, the first time since 'Danzig 4'. I don't know that it means that much anymore these days, because no one's buying, but it's kind of cool. People really liked 'Deth Red Sabaoth' [2010] and people really like 'Black Laden Crown'. So maybe I'll do an EP or something."

Danzig released a collection of Elvis Presley covers, "Danzig Sings Elvis", in April 2020 and has been focusing on making films, including last year's "Death Rider In The House Of Vampires" and his feature film directorial debut, "Verotika".

Glenn has been talking about the end of his touring career since at least 2015. At that time, he told Cleveland Scene: "I love being on stage and that's the great part of touring. I'll always do that. It's the bouncing around on a bus. That's the part I hate."

He continued: "I'm a workaholic. When you're on the road, you don't have all your stuff with you and you can't work.

"A long time ago, I stopped touring and my manager asked if I would tour if they let me fly home once in a while. We did a few West Coast tours and it worked. We tried it on a national level and it kind of works, so that's why we started doing shows again.

"If I retired, I would find other things to do. I just keep doing what I do."

Danzig added: "At some point, I'll stop touring. That's for sure."

Last month, Glenn told the 96.7 KCAL-FM radio program "Wired In The Empire" that he is currently working on four different movie scripts, including sequels to "Death Rider In The House Of Vampires" and "Verotika".

When it debuted at the Cinepocalypse festival in Chicago in 2019, "Verotika" was compared by some reviewers to Tommy Wiseau's "The Room", the so-bad-it's-amazing drama which is considered one of the worst movies ever made.

DANZIG was formed in 1987 after Glenn's involvement with horror-punks the MISFITS and gothic hard rockers SAMHAIN.

MEGADETH's KIKO LOUREIRO Shares Video From Final Rehearsal For 2022 Leg Of 'The Metal Tour Of The Year'

MEGADETH guitarist Kiko Loureiro has shared behind-the-scenes video from the final rehearsal for the 2022 leg of the band's "The Metal Tour Of The Year" with LAMB OF GOD, TRIVIUM and IN FLAMES. Check out the 11-minute clip below.

Featured songs:

00:00 - Intro
00:44 - Starting Rehearsal
01:23 - Dystopia
03:38 - Kiko Loureiro Guitar Academy
04:13 - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?
04:42 - Take No Prisoners - Rust In Peace
10:22 - Final

The 49-year-old Brazilian musician, who lives in Finland with his wife and kids, and his MEGADETH bandmates kicked off the 2022 leg of "The Metal Tour Of The Year" on April 9 at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Last month, MEGADETH bassist James LoMenzo discussed the band's setlist for the 2022 leg of "The Metal Tour Of The Year" during a bassist roundtable video chat with Knotfest's Ryan J. Downey. "You have to take into account that Dave's [Mustaine, MEGADETH frontman] been through a lot with his voice, so a lot of the songs that we pick are predicated on [the fact] that he is healing correctly," the bassist said at the time, referencing Mustaine's recent battle with throat cancer. "So that's part of it as well. But it's a long road ahead. We're always swapping in songs. We've got a whole pile — they're all sitting, waiting to be let loose. That's the great thing about being in this band, is that there's just an inexhaustible catalog.

"I don't know how to say this delicately, so I'll just say it. The truth of the matter is when you go to see a lot of your favorite bands — let's be the fan guy; okay, let's go to see our favorite band… I remember when JUDAS PRIEST was doing all of 'Nostradamus'," he continued. "It was a good record, but it wasn't 'Hell Bent For Leather'. And I've gotta say that people wanna hear the songs that they love. Why wouldn't you play them for 'em?

"So that's the problem with a band like MEGADETH," James added. "And there are bands, as we move along — all bands, as you move along, you start just getting this giant catalog. And how do you get enough in there to give the core fans what they really want as opposed to the esoterics? You try and throw a thing here and there, but you've gotta keep the hits, man."

LoMenzo joined MEGADETH in 2006 and appeared on two of the group's studio albums, 2007's "United Abominations" and 2009's "Endgame". He was fired from the band in 2010 and replaced with returning original MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson.

In addition to MEGADETH, LoMenzo has played with Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde and WHITE LION. For the past nine years, LoMenzo has been performing with iconic rocker John Fogerty.

LoMenzo played his first show with MEGADETH in nearly 12 years last August in Austin, Texas. The concert took place three months following Ellefson's dismissal from MEGADETH after sexually tinged messages and explicit video footage involving him were posted on Twitter.

Ellefson was in MEGADETH from the group's inception in 1983 to 2002, and again from 2010 until his latest exit.

See Video Recap Of MEGADETH's Visit To USS Lexington

Professor Reggie Almeida of the Gracie Barra Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Spring Hill, Tennessee, who has been traveling with MEGADETH on "The Metal Tour Of The Year", accompanied guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine and bassist James LoMenzo when they paid a visit to the USS Lexington Museum ahead of MEGADETH's April 14 concert at American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. You can watch part one of Almeida's video recap of the visit below.

Mustaine and LoMenzo got a tour of the Blue Ghost, the longest-serving Essex-class aircraft carrier of World War II. The ship was decommissioned in 1991 and converted to a museum in 1992.

USS Lexington thanked the musicians for their visit, writing in a social media post: "It's always a pleasure welcoming exceptional guests aboard the USS Lexington Museum! Thank you MEGADETH for visiting, we hope you enjoyed your tour! Rock on!"

During World War II, the carrier participated in nearly every major operation in the Pacific Theater and spent a total of 21 months in combat. The ship's planes destroyed 372 enemy aircraft in the air, and 475 more on the ground. The ship sank or destroyed 300,000 tons of enemy cargo and damaged an additional 600,000 tons. The ship's guns shot down 15 planes and assisted in downing five more, according to the museum's site.

From the very first day of operation as a naval aviation museum, the USS Lexington has remained totally self-sufficient, never having received funds from local, state or federal government agencies. The Museum has relied solely on revenues generated from grants, donations, admissions, ship's store sales, special events, and the youth overnight program. These revenues have covered all expenses not only to operate and maintain the ship but also to fund all capital improvements as well.

MEGADETH is currently on the road in North America with LAMB OF GOD as part of what is being called "The Metal Tour Of The Year". Also appearing on the bill are TRIVIUM and IN FLAMES.

American Bank Center is an entertainment complex with a capacity of 10,000 that hosts numerous conventions, trade shows, exhibitions, live performances, and sporting events for the Corpus Christi IceRays.

It’s always a pleasure welcoming exceptional guests aboard the USS Lexington Museum! Thank you Megadeth for visiting, we hope you enjoyed your tour! Rock on 🤘😎

Watch ACE FREHLEY Perform In Everett, Washington

Fan-filmed video of Ace Frehley's April 29 performance at The Historic Everett Theatre in Everett, Washington can be seen below.

Last November, Ace said that he had collaborated with his longtime friend Peppy Castro on "some heavy songs."

Peppy reportedly taught Frehley how to play guitar and previously collaborated with KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons as a songwriter and performed on Frehley's and KISS frontman Paul Stanley's solo records.

In December 2020, Frehley told Talking Metal Live that he would start recording his next all-original album in 2021. The record will be the follow-up to "Spaceman", which was released in October 2018 via eOne. At the time, he said that had "been writing all along. Plus, I have tracks that I've already recorded that I have to revisit and decide whether they have a chance to make it on my new studio record — [if they] have to be rewritten or [they're] just good the way they are," he explained. "And I've got people sending me song ideas constantly… So, little by little, it's an ongoing process, and it evolves as it goes."

Earlier in 2020, Frehley told Canada's iHeart Radio that he had "only written about three songs" for his next LP, and he added they were "not finished." He said: "Now that I'm [living] on the East Coast [after moving to New Jersey from Southern California], my engineer only lives an hour from me, Alex Salzman, who worked with me extensively on this last record, and he played a lot of bass guitar as well, So it's gonna be even easier, 'Origins Vol. 3' and the next [original] record."

Frehley's latest release was "Origins Vol. 2", the sequel to his 2016 collection of cover songs that inspired the former KISS guitarist.

"Origins Vol. 2" featured cover versions of THE BEATLES' "I'm Down", DEEP PURPLE's "Space Truckin'", LED ZEPPELIN's "Good Times Bad Times", THE ROLLING STONES' "Jumpin' Jack Flash", THE KINKS' "Lola" and THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE's "Manic Depression", among others. A cover of the 1975 KISS tune "She" also appeared as a bonus track. Guests on the set included CHEAP TRICK's Robin Zander, Lita Ford and former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons co-wrote two tracks on "Spaceman", "Without You I'm Nothing" and "Your Wish Is My Command", the latter of which also features Simmons's bass playing.

Enjoyed watching Ace Frehley (formerly of KISS) perform his classics at the Historic Everett Theater. Hung out after the...

THE TROOPS OF DOOM Feat. Ex-SEPULTURA Guitarist JAIRO 'TORMENTOR' GUEDZ: 'Dethroned Messiah' Music Video

THE TROOPS OF DOOM, the new Brazilian band featuring former SEPULTURA guitarist Jairo "Tormentor" Guedz, has released the official music video for the song "Dethroned Messiah". The track is taken from THE TROOPS OF DOOM's debut album, titled "Antichrist Reborn", which arrived last month via Alma Mater Records, the Portuguese powerhouse label run by MOONSPELL's Fernando Ribeiro. It is digitally available via Blood Blast distribution.

THE TROOPS OF DOOM also includes acclaimed graphic artist Marcelo Vasco on guitar, Alex Kafer (ex-NECROMANCER, EXPLICIT HATE, ENTERRO) on vocals/bass and Alexandre Oliveira (SOUTHERN BLACKLIST) on drums. The band's goal is to revisit the essence of 1980s-style death metal, exploring a more primitive sound that takes listeners back to that era, while remaining fresh and genuine.

"Antichrist Reborn" is the follow-up to THE TROOPS OF DOOM's critically acclaimed EPs "The Rise Of Heresy" (2020) and "The Absence Of Light" (2021),which have been lauded by both the international music press and fans alike.

Says Guedz: "We are very happy that we are finally about to release our debut full-length album. We already have it composed basically since 2020 but due to the pandemic, we ended up deciding to postpone its release. Now with most people vaccinated and restrictions easing, we expect 2022 to be a good year for the return of shows and touring. Fingers crossed! We're confident about it and can't wait to hit the road. The suggestive title of the album 'Antichrist Reborn' has a strong connection with the song 'Antichrist', from my time at SEPULTURA back in the days, and of course, because our sound, that's a rescue of that death metal aura from the '80s."

Ribeiro states: "I have been a fan of Brazilian extreme music, namely death metal since the late '80s. It shaped me as a musician and as a metalhead as much or maybe even more than the classic extreme metal bands from Europe and the U.S. 'Antichrist Reborn' holds the key to open the gates and unleash those demons upon us in 2022! It's just the brilliant missing link between that past and the glorious TROOPS OF DOOM future. My head is in the clouds and I am totally psyched to have this top of the chain band in my label. You won't believe how hellishly strong is this record. TROOPS OF DOOM will claim the title of best death metal album of the year!"

"Antichrist Reborn" was mixed by Swedish producer Peter Tägtgren at the iconic The Abyss Studio and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren at Blacklounge Studio, Sweden. Featuring very special guest musicians such as João Gordo (RATOS DE PORÃO) and Alex Camargo and Moyses Kolesne (KRISIUN),THE TROOPS OF DOOM unleash true old-school death metal in its purest form; dirty, primitive, and brutally powerful as it should be. The cover art was painted by Sergio "AlJarrinha" Oliveira, the artist behind SEPULTURA's "Bestial Devastation" original artwork.

"Antichrist Reborn" track listing:

01. Dethroned Messiah
02. Far From Your God
03. Altar Of Delusion
04. Grief
05. Pray Into The Abyss
06. The Rebellion
07. Deserters From Paradise
08. Apocalypse MMXXII
09. A Queda
10. Preacher's Paradox
11. Necromancer (bonus track)
12. The Usurper (exclusive CD bonus track)

THE TROOPS OF DOOM is:

Jairo "Tormentor" Guedz - Guitar
Alex Kafer - Bass, Vocals
Marcelo Vasco - Guitar
Alexandre Oliveira - Drums

SEPULTURA was formed in 1984 in Belo Horizonte, the capital city of Minas Gerais. Jairo joined the group the following year and played on the band's first two releases, 1985's "Bestial Devastation" EP and their 1986 full-length debut, "Morbid Visions". He also participated in the early songwriting sessions for 1987's "Schizophrenia".

In early 1987, Jairo quit SEPULTURA and was replaced by São Paulo-based guitarist Andreas Kisser.

SUM OF SEVEN - Finnish Progressive Metallers Release New Single / Video "The Enemy"

Finnish progressive metal band Sum Of Seven have released a new music video, "The Enemy", via Inverse Records. Famous Finnish model, dancer and singer Joalin Loukamaa, known from global pop band Now United, is featured in the video.

The band comments: "We wanted to create a video that has a nice balance of story and the band playing. Originally we planned this to be purely the band playing the song but the place we found for the shoot inspired us to add a story element. Joalin Loukamaa did an excellent job in our last video and we asked if she would join the project. Fortunately she said yes and did an amazing job again. We got Saku Suominen from Sakuvisuals to direct and work his magic behind the camera and we had an absolute blast filming this. We feel that the atmosphere of the video and the song complement each other in just the right way and the finished product definitely makes us proud.

The Enemy is a song that starts out fast and aggressive and really carries that momentum from start to finish. It is one of the heaviest songs that we have made so far. When that intro explodes you know that we're going somewhere fast. But at the same time when the vocal melodies kick in they steer the song into a different direction than you might expect, still carrying the aggressive momentum. The lyrics talk about freedom, victory and survival, but they also have connotations to the questionable interpretations of those subjects. The message can be interpreted as positively empowering, but also as a disturbingly delusional illusion."

SABATON Guitarist TOMMY JOHANSSON Performs "Anthem" Written ABBA Founders For Chess Musical (Video)

Sabaton guitarist / Majestica frontman Tommy Johansson has shared his solo performance of "Anthem" from the 1984 musical, Chess. Check it out below.

Johansson: "When I started to sing at the age of 15, the song 'Anthem' from the musical Chess (originally sung by Tommy Körberg) was my first REAL goal. I learned it and performed it at my school when we ended 9th grade in front of the whole school and from that day on this song has been very special to me. Maybe one day I will upload that video - me, 15 years old, singing that song."

Chess is a musical written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus of the pop group ABBA, lyrics by Ulvaeus and Tim Rice, and book by Rice. The story involves a politically driven, Cold War-era chess tournament between two grandmasters, one American and the other Soviet, and their fight over a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other.

A highly successful concept album was released prior to the first theatrical production in order to raise money. In the case of Chess, the concept album was released in the autumn of 1984 while the show opened in London's West End in 1986 where it played for three years.

Johansson previously shared his solo performance of the Simon & Garfunkel classic, "The Sound Of Silence". Check it out below.

Johansson: "This cover of the Disturbed version of 'The Sound of Silence' by Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel is dedicated to my friend Christian Sundberg, who is no longer with us. A great friend, father, brother and son who left us too early."

APOCALYPTICA Perform "House Of Chains" With Vocalist FRANKY PEREZ At Graspop Metal Meeting 2016; Pro-Shot Video Streaming

Finnish cello-rock quartet, Apocalyptica, have released the video below, featuring their performance of "House Of Chains" at Graspop Metal Meeting 2016 featuring vocalist Franky Perez.

Apocalyptica recently partnered up with some of the biggest names in rock music to deliver their new single, “I’ll Get Through It”. The song, written for the band by American award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, features Franky Perez – guest vocalist in Apocalyptica’s 2015 record Shadowmaker – as well as Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath on bass guitar. The track can be found on all digital streaming platforms. Buy/stream here, and watch the official music video below.

The song was born out of a visit Geezer & Franky paid to their friend Diane, who had already written the track “Not Strong Enough” for Apocalyptica, included in their 2010 record 7th Symphony. “Franky & I were visiting my friend, Diane Warren, at her studio. She played us this song, saying that she thought it would work well with Frankie’s voice. He gave it a try on the spot. We loved it. Franky then suggested sending it to Apocalyptica. They loved it, and the rest is history,” comments Geezer.

Franky Perez shares the same feeling of enthusiasm upon hearing the track for the first time – “I knew this song was special from the moment Diane Warren played it for Geezer and me. So much so, that I framed the lyrics from the session the very next day. They have been hanging on my wall ever since. This song speaks to me lyrically which made for an honest performance. Musically, there is no better collaboration than Geezer and Apocalyptica to do the song the justice it deserves. I feel very fortunate to be a part of it.”

“I’ll Get Through It” marks the first collaboration between Apocalyptica and Franky Perez since he sang on Shadowmaker, which adds to the excitement for the members of Apocalyptica, according to Perttu Kivilaakso: “We are more than thrilled working with our great and talented friend Franky Perez again! It’s been a while since our previous collaborations in Shadowmaker- album and tour, and we are also highly awaiting for getting back on road with him this April all across the States!”

Perttu also adds, about the song – “’I’ll Get Through It’ – is a meaningful and beautiful song by an incredible songwriter Diane Warren, with whom we’ve also had the pleasure of working with before. We can’t wait for you to hear the final result… falling in love again with Franky’s sensual performance, Geezer’s earthshakingly powerful bass, and our wistfully haunting cellos, among the inevitable presence of all the rhythms and groove!”

“We hope you’ll enjoy the track as much as we do! Gonna be a blast performing it also live!”

MASS WORSHIP Release "Orcus Mouth" Guitar Playthrough Video

Mass Worship have released a guitar playthrough video for "Orcus Mouth", from the recently released full-length album, Portal Tombs. Watch below:

Portal Tombs is a terrifying but electrifying exploration of the gloomy depths of human nature: a monolithic manifestation of the musical force that is Mass Worship. The album features guest appearances by Jonas Stålhammar of At The Gates, Mark ‘Barney’ Greenway of Napalm Death, and Jonas Renkse of Katatonia/Bloodbath.

“It’s pretty mind-blowing to have members of such inspirational pioneers on our own album”, says the band.

Drawing inspiration from bands such as At The Gates, Mastodon and Meshuggah, Mass Worship could be likened to many bands, but somehow forge their musical identity into something exceptionally distinctive and transcendent, and with enough confidence and conviction to win over even the most orthodox fans of the genre.

Order your copy of Portal Tombs at this location.

SAINT ASONIA To Release Introvert EP In July; "Above All" Video Streaming

Hard rock juggernaut Saint Asonia, featuring former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok, are back with a new EP. The band will release Introvert on July 1 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band has shared the first single from the seven-track EP in the form of "Above It All". Watch the video, directed by Justin Reich, below.

"'Above It All' is about rising above all the chaos, negativity, judgment and living the life you want to, not the life that is expected of you by others," says Gontier. "The song was written during the first lockdown in Canada after COVID hit. None of us had ever been through anything like this in our lifetimes and no one really knew how we as a society should act and deal with a global pandemic. I really felt it gave people a great opportunity to search inside themselves about how best to deal with these crazy circumstances and choose how they want to live their lives coming out of this."

The EP also features the band's well-received cover of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," which arrived last year.

The quartet - rounded out by Cale Gontier [bass] and Cody Watkins [drums] - have perfected a fusion of gut-punching grooves, intricate fretwork, airtight songwriting, and soaring choruses.

Tracklisting:

"Above It All"
"Better Late Than Never"
"Chew Me Up"
"So What"
"Left Behind"
"Bite The Bullet"
"Blinding Lights"
