Today he releases "Revenge Medley" from the show, which can be viewed below. A message states: "Here's the first three songs of the Revenge Medley prepared for Set 2 on the KKX. It includes 'Carr Jam' then 'Paralyzed' into 'I Just Wanna'. Zach Throne sings 'Paralyzed' with a growl, and Todd Kerns is featured on 'I Just Wanna'. Revenge was a powerful CD and all the songs are a great testament to the quality of music KISS was creating in the early '90's. My band loves to perform these great songs!"







Kulick and his band have performed on the last three KISS Kruises: KKXIII, KKIX, and KKX. His band plays songs from the '80s and '90s that aren't usually performed by KISS. Voodoo Moonshine, a “bluesy groove rock band”, currently from Florida/Georgia was formed in Memphis, TN in 2003 by lead guitarist, Jeff Losawyer. The debut album, Decade of Decay, was released in March 2005, and was well received throughout Europe. A tour was booked, including shows in England, Ireland, and Scotland. Due to the album’s success they were voted “Number One Band” seven times in England, and six times in Japan. In mid 2005, Voodoo Moonshine was introduced in Dublin, Ireland and quickly became one of the top three requested bands there.


Their debut received rave reviews in many music publications. 2006 saw the band’s popularity continue to rise, and rock radio around the world stood up and took notice. Voodoo Moonshine could be heard in Portugal, Greece, Canada and of course, at home in America. Many times during the year, the band’s songs charted ahead of some of rock's so-called heavy hitters, like Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Guns N Roses and the Scorpions. The album Decade of Decay continued to do extremely well deep into 2007, more than two full years after its release. As the year wound down, the band took some much needed, and well deserved, time off. This eventually led to guitarist Jeff Losawyer's work on a solo album. Jeff continued to write music during this time, and never gave up his passion to play.




Fast forward, and suddenly 12 years had passed. Interestingly enough, he heard Pedro Espada singing in a YouTube video and really liked what he heard. He took a chance and reached out to Pedro to see if he would be interested in singing some of his songs. Initially he didn’t receive a very warm response. As a matter of fact, he was mostly ignored, but he knew he had found the right man for the job, so he was persistent. His persistence paid off and Jeff was invited to Daytona Beach Bike Week 2018 to jam with Pedro and his bandmates of Rockit Fly. Needless to say, things went well with Pedro, former Nova Rex member Eddie Cruise and Hector Acevedo, merging together to bring back Voodoo Moonshine.


There is a lot of talk for what the future has in store for Voodoo Moonshine. Stay tuned...

Slamming brutal death metallers Analepsy are premiering a music video for new track "Fractured Continuum", taken from upcoming album Quiescence.


The vinyl version of Quiescence will be issued on May 27 via Agonia Records. The album will be released on CD, MC and digital formats on April 15 via Miasma Records and Vomit Your Shirt. Pre-orders can be placed now at this location.


Quiescence continues the space motif from Analepsy’s previous releases, but from a different perspective. There are no living creatures, only the deserted cosmos awaiting its own demise. The album features guest appearances from Ricky Myers (Suffocation, Disgorge), Angel Ochoa (Cephalotripsy, Disgorge, Abominable Putridity, Condemned) and Wilson Ng (Facelift Deformation, Vermicular Incubation).




The band commented: "We are delighted to present our most recent work: Quiescence! This has been a tight process, and despite all the changes the band went through, everything worked like clockwork. The essence of our music lives on!"


The recordings of Quiescence took three months (August - October, 2021), entailing the skills of guitarist/co-founder Marco Martins, guitarist/vocalist Calin Paraschiv (ex-Pestilence), bassist João Jacinto and ex-drummer Tiago Correia. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Miguel Tereso at Demigod Recordings studio in Caxarias, Portugal. The cover artwork was created by Pedro Sena - Lordigan.

Analepsy's sound can be described as a crossover between old-school brutal death metal and modern melodic elements. The correct pronunciation of the name of the band is "uh-nuh-leh-psy" [ʌnʌlepsy], and it was chosen due to its (now obsolete) meaning: recovery of strength after an illness.

Heavy progressive/fusion band OHM has signed with M-Theory Audio. The power trio — whose lineup in 2022 consists of guitarist Chris Poland (ex-MEGADETH), bassist Robertino "Pag" Pagliari (Uli Jon Roth, Frank Gambale) and new drummer Carlos Cruz (WARBRINGER, MACHINE HEAD, POWER TRIP) — will enter the studio this summer to record its as-yet-untitled new album. In the meantime, the band have unveiled a visualizer video for "Exit Stage Left", their first new studio recording since 2012.

Says Poland: "OHM is ecstatic to announce our signing with M-Theory Audio! It's been a very long time since the release of our last album and with the passing of our previous drummers, David Eagle and Nick Menza, I'm truly grateful to share our new sound alongside bassist, Robert 'Pag' Pagliari and drummer Carlos Cruz. We're excited for all to hear the new dynamics of our instrumental/fusion, especially the heavier elements brought in by Menza and continued by Cruz! Thank you to everyone involved for having us enter a new year with a new label team and to all who continue to support OHM!"

Poland and Pagliari first crossed paths in 1977, when they formed Los Angeles-based rock band THE NEW YORKERS with Gar and Stu Samuelson. Poland and Gar Samuelson were then recruited by MEGADETH, where they played on the band's first two records, "Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good!" and "Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?" Poland departed MEGADETH shortly after the release of the second album, and would go on to play bass for the CIRCLE JERKS and release his 1990 solo record, "Return To Metalopolis". Poland — with his brother, drummer Mark Poland — soon co-founded the progressive-metal trio DAMN THE MACHINE, which released one self-titled album on A&M Records in 1993.

Chris Poland and bassist Pagliari reunited in 1997, forming OHM. Poland and Pagliari took the early sound of OHM into a direction that was more influenced by progressive/fusion and jazz, and throughout four albums and dozens of live performances over the next fifteen years were augmented on drums by a variety of multi-talented musicians, including acclaimed jazz drummer Koko Bernejo, Kofi Baker (EXTREME CREAM, Uli Jon Roth, Vinnie Moore), Joel Taylor (Herb Alpert, Al Di Meola, Allan Holdsworth), Frank Briggs (Cirque Du Soleil, FIVE FOR FIGHTING), and David Eagle (Tina Turner, OINGO BOINGO, Gary Hoey).

OHM was joined on the drum kit by another MEGADETH alumnus, Nick Menza, in 2015, after the passing of Eagle. The next year of live performances and jam sessions saw the musical chemistry between Poland, Pagliari and Menza evolve into a heavier metallic direction while retaining the progressive/fusion roots that OHM had established with its blueprint. This lineup began to firmly establish its groove, before a heart attack during a live performance with OHM on May 21, 2016 at the Baked Potato in Studio City, California tragically claimed the life of Nick Menza at the age of 51.

The musical direction that Poland and Pagliari had been pursuing with OHM since the addition of Menza continues on in 2022. Carlos Cruz joined the band in 2018, bringing with him an expansive heavy metal drumming resume bolstered by hundreds of live performances with bands such as WARBRINGER, HEXEN, EXMORTUS and POWER TRIP. Early live performances from this new iteration of OHM have seen the band continuing to infuse their progressive/fusion blueprint with more overtly metallic chops, while remaining a spectacular display of precision musicianship.

DEF LEPPARD's new single will reportedly receive its world premiere this coming Thursday, March 17 on BBC Radio 2's "Zoe Ball Breakfast Show". The track is expected to appear on the band's next studio album, which is titled "Diamond Star Halos", according to a tweet from the DEF LEPPARD fan forum Def Leppard Rock Brigade. A new web site, www.diamondstarhalos.com, has been launched, featuring a countdown clock that is scheduled to hit zero at 5 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 17. There are also icons of five members of DEF LEPPARD as psychics. By clicking on each individual icon, fans can hear the respective musician "predict the future."

Last June, DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott confirmed to Cleveland.com that he and his bandmates have been trading ideas virtually during the pandemic and are "ahead of the game" with respect to the new LP's progress. A month earlier, Joe told Download festival host Kylie Olsson that "there's a lot of work to be done" before the completion of the new DEF LEPPARD album. "But we have not let the year go to waste," he said.

Addressing the fact that it had been more than six years since DEF LEPPARD last released album, 2015's self-titled effort, Joe told Download: "The industry being what it is, we're all aware of the fact that there's an element of the media that can't let go of the fact that records aren't that important anymore. And I know that's a sad thing to say, but it's a fact of life. Touring is massively important — way more than it was when you went out promoting records when they were important. Especially for legacy bands or whatever you wanna call 'em. Listen, I went to see THE ROLLING STONES in 1989 in case one of them died. That's 1989. They haven't had a death since the 1960s.

"I'm aware of the fact that when you've got a history — whether it be THE EAGLES or FLEETWOOD MAC or any of the bands from the '80s, like us and [IRON] MAIDEN and whoever else, we've got this legacy audience as well that wanna see us continue the journey, if you like," he continued. "And that's become way more important.

"When we finished that [2015] album, we never really thought about making another record until we just felt the timing was right," Elliott explained. "And we always just fall into place. We're constantly writing songs, so when it comes to piecing songs together, it's not like they're all absolutely brand spanking new, just written, hot-off-the-press stuff. Some of them are ideas that have been percolating for a year or two with a piece missing. And you wait and you wait and you wait, and then you have this epiphany, or one of the other guys goes, 'Why didn't you ask? I've got a bit that would fit in there perfect.' So there's been a lot of that going on. But that's a constant; that's nothing to do with coronavirus. We've been doing it since the 'Def Leppard' album came out, and we will continue to do it, whether we release an album or not. We've got songs in our heads."

DEF LEPPARD's "The Stadium Tour" with MÖTLEY CRÜE, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS was originally scheduled to take place in the summer of 2020 but ended up being pushed back to 2021, and then to 2022, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Guitarist Scott Sargeant explains, "It all started with the Covid lockdown videos - I was seeing my peers doing cover songs of other bands. So about a year or so ago, I thought of doing the same thing with friends that I've made during my years of touring... but I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of COVERING a song, I wanted to WRITE a song that would pay tribute to a particular band, but have it be my interpretation of the influence that band had on me during my impressionable years. And in this case it was Celtic Frost. So I got a hold of Jorgen and told him about the idea and we wrote the song via the wonder of the internet. (He's in Sweden and I'm in Texas). Once the song was written, I called my other long time friends Will, Danny and Juan to see if they would be interested in recording it...And they all really dug the Celtic Frost vibe, song and idea...so here we are."

DISTURBED's David Draiman and AVENGED SEVENFOLD's M. Shadows have publicly criticized Florida's so-called "Don't Say Gay" bill.

The bill, titled "Parental Rights In Education", has been dubbed by critics the "Don't Say Gay" bill because it seeks to ban discussion of gender and sexuality issues with younger students.

On Thursday (March 20), Draiman, who recently announced plans to relocate to Miami from Honolulu, took to his Twitter to share a Miami Herald article about protests that have erupted in Florida after the passage of the controversial bill in the state legislature, and he included the following message: " This is fucking ridiculous. #GAYGAYGAYGAYGAYGAYGAY".

Earlier today, M. Shadows weighed in on Draiman's tweet, writing: "As a parent of a 7 and 9 year old they have asked about sex and used the word 'gay' in derogatory fashion. Kids are aware at this age so I feel the quicker we explain and show empathy for all people the better… including in school. (I read the full bill.)"

The "Parental Rights In Education" bill passed in the Florida Senate with a 22-17 vote on Tuesday, March 8.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis defended the bill, which also includes measures that would give parents better access to their kids' education and health records.

"Clearly right now, we see a lot of focus on the transgenderism, telling kids that they may be able to pick genders and all that. I don't think parents want that for these young kids," DeSantis said.

If DeSantis signs the bill into law, school teachers and staff will be prohibited from having classroom instruction about sexual orientation or gender identity with students. Parents will also have an option to sue a school district if the policy is violated.

KORN drummer Ray Luzier spoke to Sakis Fragos of Greece's Rock Hard magazine about the current status of the band's bassist, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu. Fieldy announced last June that he would sit out KORN's recent tour in order to "heal" after "falling back" on some of his "bad habits."

Ray said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "Bands are like marriages, especially a band of brothers that's been together as long as KORN has been. There's a lot of things you deal with. You're dealing with your personal family things you have at home, with loved ones getting sick and elderly people. Everybody has the same problems in that effect. But when you get people together as long as KORN has, you're gonna see lifetimes of problems and different things that occur within the band.

"As far as getting along with each other, we're all a bunch of brothers; everybody really likes each other's company," he continued. "I know a lot of my friends that are in very big bands right now that they can't be in the same room together; they can't stand each other's presence. They have separate buses. We're not like that. We're always hanging out in one dressing room sometimes and joking and laughing, but when the personal issues start interfering with the band, that's when it's time to address those situations and say, 'Hey, let's figure out how to deal with this so we can come back as a collective unit and make it better and stronger than everything else.'

"[Fieldy] reached that point where he was just going through a lot of personal things, and it's affecting everything," Luzier added. "We love him. He's our brother. We care immensely about him and miss him not being there. That [summer/fall 2021] tour was very weird, not having him out there. As great as [KORN's current touring bassist Roberto] 'Ra' Díaz [SUICIDAL TENDENCIES] is at playing bass, Fieldy is a huge part of KORN's sound and personality. So we just wish him the best, and time will tell what's gonna happen and everything."

Last month, KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch told Spotlight Report that Fieldy was "just taking a little time to be with his family. He is a great dad," Welch said. "He has so many kids. He has adult kids, teenagers and young kids. He is just taking time, and we are giving him the time. We want everyone to be healthy and happy.

"I guess we will go and tour this record," Head continued, referencing KORN's recently released album "Requiem". "I don't know a lot more other than that. We love him very much and we hope to communicate with him during the year at some stage, to see where everyone is at."

Welch previously addressed Fieldy's position in KORN during a November 2021 interview with U.K.'s Kerrang! magazine. At the time, he stated: "The best thing to do is stay at home, be with your family, and start processing. He's got to find that healing. I still struggle with it. I had a few slip-ups with my 'bad habits' three to four years ago, so I understand it, but I dealt with it by hitting it head-on and stopping it from becoming a problem. I'm not concerned because I know he's going to be okay."

KORN singer Jonathan Davis expressed a more worried outlook on Fieldy's predicament, saying: "I love him; he's my brother. But I watched somebody I care about die and I'm not going to fucking do that again. I refuse to. I will feel guilt for the rest of my fucking life because of that. I tried my hardest but perhaps if I'd been a little bit tougher there'd have been a different outcome. I pray that he can figure it out and get better and come back and be a huge part of this band again."

Despite the fact that he didn't join his KORN bandmates on their recent tour, Fieldy did play on "Requiem".

Earlier in November, KORN guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer told "Loudwire Nights" host Toni Gonzalez about Fieldy: "Right now he's just taking some time to kinda figure out what makes him happy and figure out his happiness and what he wants to do with his life, I guess is the best way to put it. And make sure his mental health is at its best, because if your mental health isn't good, or you're not clear, you're gonna make bad choices.

"I make an example," he continued. "I had my own challenges through the years, and once you get clarity, your life becomes a lot easier to manage. We're just giving him time to, like, no pressure, just figure out what you want to do because we can still work and we can still go out and tour. But we miss him. We love the guy, and we want him to just be healthy."

Regarding how KORN ended up recruiting Díaz to fill in for Fieldy, Welch told 97.9 GRD: "Well, there's COVID and everything, so when we started talking about it, it was a thing where we wanted to be careful still and whatnot. 'Cause it was a couple, a few months ago or whatever. So we just started brainstorming and hitting up friends and whatnot. We need the slap — we need the slap bass, we need the finger playing, we need someone, 'cause Fieldy is unique — very unique. So it just kind of happened that way, man, where Ra, he was open because SUICIDAL is not going out until next year. I think Mike Muir has a back surgery or something this year. So it just worked out, man. He came down, we jammed. He's a really humble guy, and just very talented. He can play anything — from jazz to slap to anything. He played all the songs with, like, three mistakes out of 10 songs or something — little mistakes. I mean, not even mistakes — it was just, like, 'I thought I heard it that way.' They weren't even mistakes. So we were, like, 'Okay. You got it down.'"

Nine months ago, Fieldy broke the news of his absence from KORN's summer trek, writing in a social media update: "To all KORN fans worldwide. The past 6 years I've been dealing with some personal issues that at times have caused me to fall back on some of my bad habits and has caused some tension with the people around me. It's been suggested to me to take some time off to heal. I'm going to respect what was asked of me and take that time. Unfortunately you will not see me on stage with my band. I will be working towards getting the bad habits out of my system. In the meantime I will be staying creative to keep my mind & soul in a good place.

"I'm thankful for all of your support, patience & understanding as we all have something that we deal with.

"Jonathan, Munky, Ray and Head, I love you and I don't want to bring any tension or bad vibes to the circle."

A short time later, KORN's official social media shared Fieldy's statement, along with the following message: "We love and support our brother, Fieldy. Health and family always comes first."

Back in 2017, METALLICA bassist Robert Trujillo's then-12-year-old son Tye Trujillo filled in on bass for KORN's South American tour after Fieldy was unable to make the shows due to "unforeseen circumstances."

Fieldy's 2009 memoir, "Got The Life: My Journey Of Addiction, Faith, Recovery And Korn", detailed his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction during KORN's early years and how he became a born-again Christian to help get his life together and get sober.

Fieldy's STILLWELL side project released its third album, "Supernatural Miracle", in September 2020.
