The KMET group presented a new song "Snow Maiden", based on the play- a spring fairy tale by Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky.
Russian folk tale, gleaned by Ostrovsky from the second volume of the "Poetic Views of the Slavs on Nature" (1867) by the Russian collector of folklore, researcher of the spiritual culture of the Slavic peoples, historian and literary critic A.N. Afanasyev, is the basis of the plot.
The composition uses a small musical allusion-an interpretation of the final chorus from the opera "The Snow Maiden" by the Russian composer N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
The cover design uses the painting "Snow Maiden" by the Russian painter V.M. Vasnetsov.
This song was recorded together with the vocalist of the group "SHRIKE" Margarita.
