LORNA SHORE Drops Music Video For 'Welcome Back, O' Sleeping Dreamer'

LORNA SHORE Drops Music Video For 'Welcome Back, O' Sleeping Dreamer'

Hot off its North American trek supporting MASTODON and GOJIRA, LORNA SHORE is now giving fans a new video for "Welcome Back, O' Sleeping Dreamer", the opening track from 2022's "Pain Remains" album. The clip, which was directed and edited by Eric Richter and produced by Paul Henon of Midvessel, can be seen below.

LORNA SHORE guitarist Adam De Micco comments: "'Welcome Back O' Sleeping Dreamer' is a song that we feel deserves as much of the light as any other song on 'Pain Remains'. It was a pivotal song in the writing process — it was the song to get the momentum going for the rest of the record. It was the song that we had the most enjoyment writing and I think to this day is probably one of our favorite songs on the record. It's as dark as it is light and it's as intense while not being overbearing. It has become the closest thing to balance as far as our songs are concerned. It is also a song that encapsulates a lot of who we are as a band while being unique from the rest of the songs on 'Pain Remains'.

"Working with Eric was something that we have been wanting to do for some time now," Adam continued. "He has always been someone we would reference or were inspired by so it only made sense to do a video with him. It was also a unique experience for us this time because we were in the trenches with him making decisions on everything regarding the video. As an artist you want to see your vision come to light and working with Eric this way, we were able to bring that vision forward."

LORNA SHORE will return to Europe this November/December for a headlining tour, featuring RIVERS OF NIHIL, INGESTED and DISTANT as support.

Pushing beyond preconception and musical boundaries, "Pain Remains" has been named "one of the best symphonic metal and deathcore albums" (Metal Injection),earned "album of the year" accolades upon its release (Loudwire),and it continues to take the music world by storm in 2023, with no signs of slowing down.

LORNA SHORE recruited singer Will Ramos (MONUMENT OF A MEMORY, ex-A WAKE IN PROVIDENCE) in 2021 following the departure of the band's previous vocalist, CJ McCreery.

LORNA SHORE drummer Austin Archey told Cleveland Scene that he and his bandmates were aware of Ramos's skills because A WAKE IN PROVIDENCE had played some shows with LORNA SHORE.

"We just knew he was this dude who looks super young," Archey said of Ramos. "But when we lost our old vocalist, I reached out to him. I didn’t know if he’d be interested. He was all in. Seven years into a career, it’s hard to find someone with that dedication. He was very prepared. I think he prepared his whole life for this. His first long tour with us was a two-week stretch. He hadn't done anything like that. It was remarkable to see him step up from the ashes and become bigger than all of us."

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's IVAN MOODY Opens Up About 'Personal' Inspiration For 'Judgment Day' Music Video

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's IVAN MOODY Opens Up About 'Personal' Inspiration For 'Judgment Day' Music Video

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH frontman Ivan Moody has opened up about the "personal" inspiration for the official music video for "Judgment Day", a song off the band's latest album, 2022's "AfterLife".

The Nick Peterson-directed clip, which stars Moody as a vigilante comic book hero who takes down a ring of human traffickers, features a story and video concept by Moody and animation by Tristan Zammit and Rodrigo Silveira.

Earlier today (Wednesday, September 27),Moody took to his social media to share a link to the "Judgment Day" video, and he included the following message: "As you've all seen, we have a new music video out for our song Judgement Day. Even though it's not our next 'single', it was important to us to spend the time and put in our best efforts to make this video. It was ESPECIALLY personal to me. See, I'm the only guy in the band who Has children. So, the topic carries a voluminous amount of weight. This video was also a form of therapy for me, in a way. Facing the issue head-on.

"The subject of this video hits home to many and should be above ALL politics," he continued. "Any decent human being should be disgusted by the abhorrent fact of, in our times, in the 21st century, human trafficking, child trafficking and slavery, exists. In fact, there are more slaves in the world today than at any other point in history. This became particularly poignant and personal when I gave my daughter her first smartphone. I thought about all the safety measures, the possibilities, and the responsibilities that come with giving a young child a phone, especially with internet access. Well, It turned out that it wasn't the Internet I couldn't prep-for... It was the psychological effect of the amber alerts. And when she kept receiving alerts about abducted children, runaways, Ect... Well, let's just say she was deeply affected by it and become so critical in her thinking/paranoid, she became concerned about going to school, going out to eat, movies, And how could I blame her...? So, there is my dilemma. I can't downplay the danger, because it's important FOR HER SAFETY to be informed and know the truth. But how do I explain such an ugly truth without scaring her and introducing even MORE anxiety into her life? As I said, In the 21st century this problem should not exist, yet It is a societal issue on a global scale."

Moody added: "I'm not the superhero my daughter thinks I am, I'm not a soldier, a secret agent, or knight in shining-armor, So, unless I plan-on becoming a vigilante, I can't directly fight-this. What I can do however, is to use my platform, my music, and my megaphone and shine a spotlight on this atrocity. I can add my voice to those who are already shouting. I have faith that eventually, Judgment Day will come to those who deserve it. #theend".

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's follow-up to 2020's "F8", "AfterLife" was once again recorded at the Hideout Recording Studio, the Las Vegas, Nevada facility owned and operated by Kevin Churko, the Canadian record producer/engineer and songwriter who has worked on all of FIVE FINGER's albums beginning with the band's sophomore release, 2009's "War Is The Answer".

"AfterLife" is FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's first album with its latest addition, renowned British virtuoso Andy James, who replaced Jason Hook in 2020. James was previously featured on "Broken World", a song that was included on the second installment of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's greatest-hits collection, "A Decade Of Destruction – Volume 2", which came out in the fall of 2020.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH played its first show as the support act for METALLICA on the "M72" tour on August 6 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH was originally supposed to support METALLICA on several European shows this past spring — including April 29 at the Johan Cruijf Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands; on May 17 at Stade De France in Paris, France; and on May 28 at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany — but ended up canceling the dates in order to allow Moody to fully recover from his recent hernia surgery.

As you've all seen, we have a new music video out for our song titled: "Judgement Day”. Even though it’s not our next "...

Hear Newly Remastered 'Crossing Over' From VAN HALEN's 'The Collection II'

Hear Newly Remastered 'Crossing Over' From VAN HALEN's 'The Collection II'

VAN HALEN will release a new boxed set this fall spotlighting the iconic band's second incarnation, with singer Sammy Hagar, guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, and bassist Michael Anthony. The upcoming set includes newly remastered versions of four multi-platinum studio albums, along with a selection of rarities recorded between 1989 and 2004.

"The Collection II" will be available on October 6 on five LPs for $124.98 and five CDs for $49.98. All the music in the set was mastered directly from the original master tapes, a process overseen by the band's longtime engineer, Donn Landee.

A newly remastered version of the song "Crossing Over", taken from "The Collection II", can be streamed below. "Crossing Over" was originally released as the B-side to "Balance"'s "Can't Stop Loving You", as well as a bonus track on the Japanese CD version.

The new set is the long-awaited sequel to "The Collection", a compilation released in 2015 that focused on the six studio albums recorded by the band's original lineup, which featured singer David Lee Roth. "The Collection II" picks up where its predecessor left off and covers the four consecutive No. 1 albums released during the Hagar era: "5150" (1986),"OU812" (1988),"For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" (1991) and "Balance" (1995).

The journey begins with "5150", VAN HALEN's seventh studio album and the band's first to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200. Certified platinum six times in the U.S., the record treated fans to hits like "Dreams", "Love Walks In" and "Why Can't This Be Love", which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group returned two years later with "OU812", a quadruple-platinum smash that delivered four Billboard Hot 100 hits, including "Finish What Ya Started" and "When It's Love".

The accolades continued with "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge", which earned VAN HALEN its first Grammy Award for "Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock Album". Debuting at No. 1 and staying there for three weeks, the album achieved triple-platinum certification. The record produced an incredible seven singles, including hits like "Poundcake", "Top Of The World" and "Right Now".

In 1993, the band released its first live album, "Live: Right Here, Right Now", before returning in 1995 with "Balance", its final studio album with Hagar. The album was another commercial triumph, debuting at No. 1, selling more than three million copies, and earning a Grammy nomination for "The Seventh Seal".

"The Collection II" concludes with "Studio Rarities 1989-2004", an exclusive compilation that assembles eight gems from the Hagar era for the first time. Among these rarities is "Crossing Over", the B-side to "Balance"'s "Can't Stop Lovin' You" and the band's only non-album B-side.

The compilation boasts other exceptional highlights, including the band's cover of LITTLE FEAT's "A Apolitical Blues" and the instrumental "Baluchitherium", which were originally left off the vinyl versions of "OU812" and "Balance", respectively. Additionally, the set features two songs the band contributed to the "Twister" soundtrack — "Humans Being" and the Grammy-nominated "Respect The Wind".

Rounding out the set are "It's About Time", "Up For Breakfast" and "Learning To See", which were recorded during the band's temporary reunion with Hagar in 2004. All three debuted that year on VAN HALEN's second greatest-hits collection, "The Best Of Both Worlds".

EVANESCENCE Announces Deluxe Reissue Of 'Fallen' For 20th Anniversary

EVANESCENCE Announces Deluxe Reissue Of 'Fallen' For 20th Anniversary

In 2003, when the rock charts were dominated by predominantly male nü-metal and post-grunge acts, a young female-fronted band from Arkansas stood out from the crowd, offering something entirely new. They were EVANESCENCE — and with their debut album, "Fallen", they transformed the rock landscape. Led by frontwoman Amy Lee, EVANESCENCE's cinematic blend of metal and symphonic, piano-driven melodies captured a generation, while "Fallen" set the band on a path to global superstardom, earning them multiple Grammy Awards, and becoming one of the highest-selling albums of all time.

Now, two decades later, Craft Recordings celebrates EVANESCENCE's enduring debut with a series of collectible reissues. Available on 2-LP, 2-CD, and digital formats — as well as a Super Deluxe Edition collector's box set — "Fallen (20th Anniversary Edition)" will offer newly remastered audio, including the album's global chart-topping singles "My Immortal", "Going Under", "Everybody's Fool" and the Grammy-winning smash hit "Bring Me To Life". The expanded set also includes a trove of bonus material — ten tracks in all — comprising previously unreleased demos and live recordings plus a selection of rare B-sides. Alongside reimagined artwork, all physical formats will include previously unseen photos from the era, plus a handwritten foreword by Lee, who oversaw all aspects of the reissue.

"Fallen (20th Anniversary Edition)" is available for pre-order today, while fans can stream a previously-unreleased 2002 demo of "Bring Me To Life" or watch the lyric video in addition to the remastered album version of the hit song. 2-LP, 2-CD, and digital formats will be released on November 17. The classic black 2-LP set is available wide, with limited color pressings also available from select retailers including Blue Smoke (via Target),White and Purple Marble (via Barnes & Noble),Pink and Black Marble (via Indie Retail),and a unique Black & Silver blend (via Evanescence.com).

Also available exclusively via Evanescence.com is the Super Deluxe Box Set, arriving in February 2024. Housed in a collectible shadow box-style package (inspired by Lee's songwriting journal cover art),this very limited edition includes all of the above-mentioned music as part of a 2-LP set (featuring the Black & Silver blend vinyl) plus a bonus cassette of previously unreleased demos and voice notes (see track listing below) which is exclusive to this box set. Adding additional insight into the album is an expansive book that features new track-by-track notes from Lee, while a zoetropic turntable slipmat, featuring EVANESCENCE's classic "e" logo, plus a set of rare photo prints and enamel pin set round out the collection.

Released in the spring of 2003, "Fallen" resonated deeply with fans, selling more than 141,000 copies in its first week and peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, where it spent an astonishing 43 weeks in the Top 10. Within a month, "Fallen" was certified platinum by the RIAA, while it was a Top 10 hit in more than ten countries, reaching No. 1 in the U.K., Canada, Australia and across Europe. Much of the album's initial success can be attributed to its stratospheric singles, including "Bring Me To Life", which broke the Top 10 in more than 15 countries and topped Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 and Alternative Airplay charts. "My Immortal" was a Top 10 hit in over ten countries, including the U.S., U.K., and Australia.

At the 2004 Grammy Awards, EVANESCENCE received five nominations, including "Album Of The Year", "Best Rock Album", "Best Hard Rock Performance" for "Bring Me To Life", and "Best New Artist", taking home the latter two. The following year, "My Immortal" received a nod for "Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals".

Today, "Fallen" holds steady as the sixth best-selling album of the 21st century (ranking just behind Lady Gaga's "The Fame" and ahead of COLDPLAY's "A Rush Of Blood To The Head") and remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, with more than 17 million copies sold worldwide. In 2022, "Fallen" received a rare diamond certification from the RIAA, which recognizes 10 million units in U.S. album sales. As a testament to the album's enduring appeal, the video for "Bring Me To Life" surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube, making it one of the most-watched rock videos of all time while "My Immortal" follows close behind.

The 20th-anniversary edition of "Fallen" builds upon the original album, adding additional context through rare B-sides ("Breathe No More", "Farther Away" and "Missing") and six previously unreleased selections. Among them are live renditions of "Bring Me To Life" (including a 2020 acoustic re-imagining),as well as "My Immortal" and "Going Under", while fans will enjoy a newly-unearthed string version of "My Immortal" and a 2002 demo of "Bring Me To Life".

"20 years later, this album has never meant more," writes Lee in her foreword. "'Fallen' has been the soundtrack to first loves, epic heartbreak, self-realization, wedding days, last goodbyes, friendships, and countless other moments in so many lives… not to mention my own. I am forever humbled and grateful to be a part of it."

To date, EVANESCENCE has released a total of five studio albums, including the multi-platinum "The Open Door" (2004) and "Evanescence" (2011),both of which topped the Billboard 200. In 2021, the band thrilled fans with their first album of new material in a decade, "The Bitter Truth". Featuring a lineup of Amy Lee (vocals, keyboards),Tim McCord (guitar/bass),Will Hunt (drums),Troy McLawhorn (guitars/backing vocals),and Emma Anzai (bass, backing vocals),EVANESCENCE continues to maintain an active tour schedule which has seen the band traveling the globe and staging some of the most successful shows of its career. This fall, they will embark on an extensive run of sold-out shows in Latin America, including Allianz Parque, a soccer stadium in Sāo Paulo, Brazil, slated to be the biggest headline show of EVANESCENCE's career.

THE ROLLING STONES Share 'Sweet Sounds Of Heaven' Single Featuring LADY GAGA And STEVIE WONDER

THE ROLLING STONES Share 'Sweet Sounds Of Heaven' Single Featuring LADY GAGA And STEVIE WONDER

THE ROLLING STONES have released the second single, "Sweet Sounds Of Heaven", from their upcoming album "Hackney Diamonds", due on October 20. The track features a bravura vocal performance by Lady Gaga, alongside Stevie Wonder on Fender Rhodes, Moog and piano.

A gospel-infused STONES epic in the lineage of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "Shine A Light", "Sweet Sounds Of Heaven" came about in a spontaneous fashion. STONES frontman Mick Jagger was at his home in London one sunny afternoon, the leaves were rustling as the wind blew through the trees around outside, and he started playing a chord pattern of C, F and B Flat on his piano.

The track was recorded at Henson Recording Studios, Los Angeles; Metropolis Studios, London; Sanctuary Studios, Nassau, Bahamas and written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. During sessions in Los Angeles, THE ROLLING STONES invited Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga to work on "Heaven".

Both Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder have previously performed with THE ROLLING STONES. Lady Gaga joined THE STONES onstage as part of the "50 & Counting" tour in 2012. Their performance of "Gimme Shelter" was eventually released on "GRRR Live" album. Stevie Wonder toured with THE STONES on their American tour in 1972 regularly performing a medley of "Satisfaction" and "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" together.

"Hackney Diamonds" album opener, the recently released single "Angry", is followed by a further 11 tracks. Late drummer Charlie Watts features on two tracks, "Mess It Up" and "Live By The Sword". "Live By The Sword" additionally features bass from former STONES bassist Bill Wyman. "Bite My Head Off" has bass from Paul McCartney, and "Get Close" and "Live By The Sword" feature piano from Elton John.

"Hackney Diamonds" track listing:

01. Angry
02. Get Close
03. Depending On You
04. Bite My Head Off
05. Whole Wide World
06. Dreamy Skies
07. Mess It Up
08. Live By The Sword
09. Driving Me Too Hard
10. Tell Me Straight
11. Sweet Sounds Of Heaven
12. Rolling Stone Blues

The 12-track album, was recorded in various locations around the world, including Henson Recording Studios, Los Angeles; Metropolis Studios, London; Sanctuary Studios, Nassau, Bahamas; Electric Lady Studios, New York; and The Hit Factory/Germano Studios, also in New York.

Earlier this month, THE STONES launched the album at a globally livestreamed event from Hackney Empire in East London. The livestream was followed by the premiere of the video for "Angry" starring Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney ("The White Lotus", "Euphoria", "The Handmaid's Tale"),which to date has had over 17 million views.

"Hackney Diamonds" is THE STONES' first studio set of new material since 2005's "A Bigger Bang". Since then, THE STONES have continued to smash box office records for fun on a series of global sellout tours and released 2016's Grammy Award-winning "Blue & Lonesome", which featured their brilliant versions of many of the blues tracks that helped shape their sound, and topped album charts around the world. Last year, they thrilled European audiences totaling nearly a quarter of a million on the anniversary "Sixty" tour.

"Hackney Diamonds" marks THE ROLLING STONES' first collaboration with New York-born producer and musician Andrew Watt, who was named "Producer Of The Year" at the 2021 Grammy Awards and has worked with Post Malone, Iggy Pop and Elton John.

The "Angry" music video was directed by Francois Rousselet, whose credits include work with Nike, Diesel, Pharrell Williams, and on THE STONES' "Ride 'Em On Down", from "Blue & Lonesome".

The bespoke artwork for "Hackney Diamonds" is by digital animator Paulina Almira.

"Hackney Diamonds" will be released across a number of formats including a special limited RS No. 9 Carnaby Red vinyl, available exclusively to pre-order direct from the flagship store. An exclusive "Hackney Diamonds" merch line is also available from the London store.

THE ROLLING STONES' upcoming LP will be the first since Watts died in 2021.

THE ROLLING STONES released a new track, "Living In A Ghost Town", in 2020.

In 2016, the band released "Blue & Lonesome", a covers collection paying tribute to old-school blues.

Two years ago, Richards told the Los Angeles Times the pandemic delayed work on the new album, while Jagger added, "We have a lot of tracks done, so when the tour's finished, we'll assess where we are with that and continue."

MIKKEY DEE Will Never Try To Put MOTÖRHEAD 'As A Band Out There Again' With 'Some Other Idiot' Taking LEMMY's Place

MIKKEY DEE Will Never Try To Put MOTÖRHEAD 'As A Band Out There Again' With 'Some Other Idiot' Taking LEMMY's Place

In a new interview with Finland's Chaoszine, former MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee reflected on the band's final tour, which concluded on December 11, 2015, just two weeks before the passing of late MOTÖRHEAD frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister. Mikkey said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "[Lemmy] was very excited. He loved doing this stuff. And I do remember that we were having a pretty tough time. Lemmy was sick. He was tired. And we could not get him off the road. Both me and Phil [Campbell, MOTÖRHEAD guitarist] said, 'Look, let's break.' … Let's go back to [Lemmy's hometown of Los Angeles], rest, eat and we pick up the European tour again. But he said, 'No, no, no, no, no. We've gotta play.' 'Okay.' So me and Phil were talking, and we said, 'Instead of argue with Lemmy, trying to get him off the road, let's just help him instead.' And I remember, the shows, we had to adjust a lot of stuff, but I think we and he did fantastic. I mean, the last show was 11th of December in Berlin, and then a couple of weeks later, the man is gone. So, trust me, me and Phil put in 150 percent and Lemmy must have put in 300 percent to get through the set."

Dee, who has played a few shows in the Nordic countries in recent months performing the MOTÖRHEAD material under the "Mikkey Dee With Friends" banner, was also once again asked if he and Campbell would ever go out and perform MOTÖRHEAD music together, with someone else stepping in to play Lemmy's parts. He responded: "Well, you never know. I mean, me and Phil wrote great music. But he's fully involved with his boys [in their band PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS]. And I'm fully involved with SCORPIONS. We're touring a lot. Not right now, obviously, but we're on the road all the time with the SCORPS. So I don't say no; there's always possibilities. But, of course, as I explained in, I think a podcast, I said, and some people misunderstood this, or actually, they didn't — actually the press wrote the wrong things. I said, 'We will never, ever get back together and replace Lemmy. That's impossible.' I said, 'But doing little constellations, doing some tribute stuff, that's great.' That's very, very different. And I think they said something, 'Mikkey will never play MOTÖRHEAD again.' That was the main headline on Blabbermouth. I said that's not what I said at all. [Editor's note: Contrary to Mikkey's assertion, the actual headline for the February 2023 BLABBERMOUTH.NET story that he is referring to was 'MIKKEY DEE: 'We Will Never Tour' Under MOTÖRHEAD Name Again'.] Of course I will play MOTÖRHEAD. But I will never be a part of trying to put MOTÖRHEAD as a band out there again with some other fucking idiot supposed to take Lemmy's place. So that's all I said. But to do this ['Mikkey Dee With Friends' thing], [it's] fantastic. And, of course, we'd like to plan something bigger than this in the future, hopefully."

Lemmy died on December 28, 2015 at the age of 70 shortly after learning he had been diagnosed with cancer.

MOTÖRHEAD had to cancel a number of shows in 2015 because of Lemmy's poor health, although the band did manage to complete the aforementioned European tour a couple of weeks before his death.

In June 2020, it was announced that Lemmy would get the biopic treatment. The upcoming film, "Lemmy", will be directed by Greg Olliver, who previously helmed the 2010 documentary of the same name, "Lemmy".

A custom-made urn containing Lemmy's ashes is on permanent display in a columbarium at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood, California.

TOMORROW'S OUTLOOK Share Music Video For "Wait For The Sun" From Upcoming Black Waves Album

TOMORROW'S OUTLOOK Share Music Video For "Wait For The Sun" From Upcoming Black Waves Album

Tomorrow's Outlook are set to release their new album, Black Waves, later this year via their own record label, Sörvik Rock Music.

The 10-track follow-up to 2018's A Voice Unheard is mixed and mastered by Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Masters Of Ceremony) and includes the first single, "Wait For The Sun", the official music video for which can be seen below.

The concept behind the video: After her execution by decapitation, the soul of the murderess Anna awakens aboard Draugen’s boat confused and with no memory of her ill deeds. Draugen is a mythical creature from northern Norwegian tradition, the spirit of a drowned fisherman come to warn of death – or cause it. Eternally they sail in perpetual night, always waiting for the sun. He takes her to the place of her execution where for a brief moment she finds hope in the beginning light of morning, only to have that hope torn away as the memories come flooding back. She returns to the boat to remain in the darkness of the spirit realm forever.

Owe Lingvall (Dreamday Media) and Konstantin Smirnov (Frogtown) were in charge of capturing the atmosphere of the video single. The storyline was shot at Gressholman by Andreas Ursin Hellebust. All concepts by Tomorrow's Outlook.

Black Waves is a concept album based on real events from the coastal region surrounding the Gressholman peninsula, stretching from 1748 to the early 1900s. We hear the deeply shocking story of a brutal double murder which shook a small community, and also about a once vital and important trading post which met its ultimate end in a fire centuries later. The stories are mostly told through the eyes of the people involved, whose stories are guided by the superstitions, fears, and beliefs native to the northern part of Norway.

Rado Javor, who created previous works for the band, including 2018's "A Voice Unheard", provided the record’s magnificent artwork.

Tomorrow's Outlook is based in northern Norway and is one of the most hardworking and aspiring bands in their region. The band uses the term Arctic heavy metal to describe its music, which is heavily influenced by their homeland both in its somewhat gloomy sound and lyrical themes.

After 15 years as a studio project, core members and songwriting partners Trond Nicolaisen, Andreas Stenseth and Øystein Kvile Hanssen decided to take it to the next level and form an actual band. They completed the lineup with singer Tony Johannessen (Thunderbolt), drummer Owe Lingvall (Nocturnal Rites) and guitarist Valentino Francavilla (White Skull).

Melodic Death Metallers AEOLIAN To Release New Album In November; "Hominis Obscura" Single Streaming

Mallorca-based melodic death metallers Aeolian will release their newest album, Echoes Of The Future, on November 24 via Black Lion Records.

Echoes Of The Future closes a trilogy that began with The Silent Witness, which explored the greatness and resilience of nature and the danger to which we submit its fragile balance, and the band's second release The Negationist, developed in a present-day in which we refuse to see how the human being has affected and threatened that balance.

On Echoes Of The Future, Aeolian embarks on a journey through the next centuries and puts us in the shoes of our counterparts from a not-so-distant future who will guide us on a journey through the difficulties and great dilemmas of humanity to survive on an increasingly inhospitable planet.

Echoes Of The Future was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound studio.

New BERNIE MARSDEN Album 'Working Man' To Be Released In November

New BERNIE MARSDEN Album 'Working Man' To Be Released In November

A new album from original WHITESNAKE guitarist Bernie Marsden will be released posthumously on November 24 via Conquest Music.

Although Bernie had always worked hard and kept busy, most recently releasing three solo albums since 2021 in "Kings", "Chess" and "Trios" as part of his "Inspirations" series, only a few knew that he had just completed a brand new album.

Earlier in August, Bernie had approved the artwork, sequence and audio masters for "Working Man", an album of Marsden original songs.

The final recording sessions took place in June 2023.

Bernie was fully involved in the mixing, artwork, and planning for the album, and he really wanted the "Working Man" album to come out in late summer, but because of the longer lead time needed to manufacture vinyl, it was scheduled for release in November.

Fran Marsden, Bernie's wife of over 40 years, said: "Bernie was really excited about his new album, 'Working Man', and proud of the tracks featured on it.

"After the last three albums of covers, he was keen for his fans to hear some new, original songs. He loved working on them in the studio during lockdown and he couldn't wait to get the album out into the world.

"Conquest Music was considering delaying the release until 2024 out of respect, but knowing Bernie's eagerness to get the album out there, we want to follow his wishes and release it as planned."

Alan Bambrough, speaking on behalf of Conquest Music, emphasized the label's profound connection with Bernie: "Bernie Marsden was far more than an artist to Conquest Music. He has been a great friend and mentor for many years and was a huge part of our decision to form the label. His 'Kings' album was our first release and we are proud to work with his company, Little House Music, in releasing some of his finest ever work.

"We are heartbroken at Bernie's passing and thought the right and respectful thing to do would be to postpone the release until next year. Fran Marsden convinced us that Bernie would want the 'Working Man' album to come out as planned."

"Working Man" contains 12 brand-new Bernie Marsden-penned tracks produced by Marsden and mixed by Dave Eringa (MANIC STREET PREACHERS, THE WHO).

The limited first pressing of the LP and CD will come with a bonus disc of 10 more new recordings.

"Being Famous" is the first single from the album and reflects Bernie's typically humble thoughts on the ludicrous decadence lavished on rock stars in his day. With a driving rhythm, complemented by bar room keyboards and, of course, Bernie's powerful guitar licks, the song captures that classic early WHITESNAKE feel that remains so loved by the fans.

The single is on digital services now.

"Working Man" will be available initially as a limited-edition 2CD digipak and 2LP set in burgundy vinyl. These limited-edition sets will also include a bonus disc of 10 more new recordings alongside the 12-track "Working Man" album. These bonus tracks include some astonishing reinterpretations of classic WHITESNAKE songs.

The album can be pre-ordered from the special Bernie Marsden shop, where there's a chance to win one of five special lithographic prints hand-signed by Bernie. Each order will also include an exclusive free Collectors' Card.

Marsden was one of the U.K.'s foremost rock and blues guitarists, famous for his time in professional bands since 1972 and a founding member of one of the biggest rock acts of all time, the mighty WHITESNAKE.

But there was a lot more to this man, from his first band UFO to treading the boards of the National Theatre in London, on stage with Ringo Starr in Monaco, playing the Beacon Theatre in New York with THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND, writing and playing with Joe Bonamassa and MOTÖRHEAD.

His long-term friendships with so many top names in the guitar business, Billy Gibbons, Steve Lukather, Warren Haynes, as well as rejoining the new WHITESNAKE lineup of recent years and a solo career kept him both on the road and in the studio. He became interested in guitars as a teenager watching THE BEATLES, his fascination continued to his final days. Bernie also developed one of the most unique and expansive private guitar collections in the world.

At a rough guesstimate, Marsden's name appears on a hundred albums — maybe more. In addition to a long-running solo career, the Buckinghamshire-born guitarist had been a recording musician since the early 1970s via membership of such groups as WHITESNAKE, UFO, WILD TURKEY, BABE RUTH, PAICE ASHTON & LORD, COZY POWELL'S HAMMER, ALASKA, M3 and many more. Though there's a tendency to pigeonhole him as a blues-rock guitarist, each of Marsden's acts had its own individual flavor.

ELM STREET Debut Music Video For New Single "The Price Of War"

ELM STREET Debut Music Video For New Single "The Price Of War"

Following an ambitious multi-year tour that saw the band bring their heavy metal power to Europe, Canada and the US, the Australian heavy metal band, Elm Street, finally returns with their third studio album, The Great Tribulation. The album will be released as CD Digipak, Ltd. Vinyl LP and Digital formats on October 27 via Massacre Records, the pre-sale is now available, here.

After the four-piece shared a previously-released, first single, "Take The Night", today, Elm Street presents a brand new music video for "The Price Of War". The second single from The Great Tribulation is a thrash / groove metal hybrid, capturing the band looking at the state of conflict overseas and questioning who are the real winners and losers (if there are any in war). The song is propelled by Tomislav Perkovic's lightning-pace double bass for a machine-gun intro before the band locks into a groove, with a melodic and technical middle section showcasing the band's musical dexterity.

The term "The Price Of War" is multi-dimensional, it not only addresses those who profit from the business of war," the band states, "but also highlights the human cost of fighting for someone else's gain."

A soundtrack for troubled times, or a charred mirror reflecting the state of the world today, The Great Tribulation provides commentary on the darker side of life, and pairs it with the band's most ambitious and hard-hitting music to date. While Elm Street's first two albums, Barbed Wire Metal and Knock 'Em Out... With A Metal Fist, have both been revered as modern classics by fans of traditional-flavoured heavy metal, The Great Tribulation seeks to take the template set by the two albums preceding it, and amplifies it by several notches, resulting in the band's most powerful, complex, and heavy performances recorded to date. Everything about The Great Tribulation encapsulates a band at the peak of their powers, Elm Street have left no stone un-turned in expressing their diverse musical palette, resulting in a wide-ranging collection of songs that stand tall individually, but extremely powerful as a collective unit.

Album number three from the thunder from down under may be well received by old fans and new alike and will set a very high benchmark for what to expect in the future. If you are a fan of classic powerhouses like Helloween, Judas Priest, Hammerfall, or Manowar, get ready for the ride of your life!

The Great Tribulation was recorded at Melbourne's legendary Sing Sing Studios, in fact, may be one of the last albums recorded in its current location. Luke Cincotta (Airbourne, The Amity Affliction, Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Northlane) was the master behind the recording desk, and German legend Michael Mainx (Toxpack, Tankard, Destruction) mixed the album. The striking front cover was painted by Andreas Marschall (Kreator, In Flames, Sodom, Blind Guardian), and the album design and additional artwork provided by Dark Prince Graphix.

The Great Tribulation tracklisting:

"Seven Sirens"
"Take The Night"
"The Price Of War"
"If Provoked, Will Strike"
"Behind The Eyes Of Evil"
"The Last Judgement"
"The Darker Side Of Blue"
"A State Of Fear"
