Sweden's UNFAIR FATE Presents "Sealed In Darkness"; Visualizer Video

Swedish thrash/death metal rising force, Unfair Fate, is thrilled to present the visualizer video for the track, "Sealed In Darkness". The song is a standout piece from the album, Into the Abyss, which is now available worldwide through Wormholedeath.

"Sealed In Darkness" encapsulates the intense and raw energy that Unfair Fate is known for, taking listeners on a sonic journey through the depths of darkness and despair. The track delves into the profound sense of being lost and trapped in a dark and abstract reality, where the inner urges and longing for release are palpable. It serves as an honest portrayal of surrendering to the darkness while simultaneously expressing a plea for the grip of fear to be released, ultimately yearning for an end to the suffering.

The band's latest album features a variety of fast and aggressive tracks, as well as slower, heavier ones. The lyrics touch on themes of substance addiction, nuclear war, and letting loose the darkness within oneself. Fans of thrash and death metal are sure to find something to love on Into The Abyss.

X-EMPIRE Release Music Video For "Let It Die" (Acoustic) Feat. MUTINY WITHIN Singer CHRIS CLANCY

Brazilian band, X-Empire, have launched their brand new music video for "Let It Die" (Acoustic), featuring a guest appearance by British singer Chris Clancy from the American band, Mutiny Within. Watch below.

The quintet currently formed by Michel Villares (vocals/production), André Marques and Ricky Franco (guitars), Émerson Soares (bass) and André Luis (drums) once again prove that there are no boundaries within contemporary metal, and those who do not try new challenges tend to dangerously stagnate in the molds of how music is consumed today.

The original electric version of "Let It Die" was previously released on the praised 2017 album "Grief", also with the participation of Chris Clancy, but in this new version the band brought more commercial arrangements, synthesizers, approach and accents created by the current guitar duo André Marques and Ricky Franco.

"Let It Die (Acoustic)" is the second song taken from "Revised & Acoustic", the upcoming EP that the band intends to release soon containing only new versions and acoustic arrangements for songs from throughout their career. The first single from this work was "Paralyzed (Acoustic)", released late last year.

After that, the group will dedicate themselves to another EP, totally electric and unreleased, already titled "Catharsis", and expected to be released later this year.

NINE LEFT DEAD Release New Single "Blaming Us"; Audio

With 400,000+ streams worldwide, Nine Left Dead returns with “Blaming Us”, the second single off their forthcoming EP, Love After Death. A gripping tale about picking up the pieces of a broken heart and trying to move forward. This stripped down rock ballad was recorded in Nashville, TN at East Iris Studios (formerly the House of Blues Studio) with multi-platinum producer Malcolm Springer (Collective Soul, Matchbox 20).

"'Blaming Us' is a love ballad story about a broken relationship after pouring everything into each other and still feeling like you failed. It's a beautifully dark story and this version of the song is stripped down to piano and strings," says the band.

Stream the track here, and below:

Nine Left Dead recently made the trip to Nashville, Tennessee to record their Love After Death EP with multi-platinum producer Malcolm Springer at East Iris Studios. The full EP will be available July 21.

Nine Left Dead is a rock band formed in the small town of Amber, Oklahoma that began as a coping mechanism for lead singer Travis Jones through his battle of leukemia. Writing music about the stories of life, love, loss, and all the beautifully tragic and romantic pieces became his escape.

After pairing up with like minded musician and friend Steven Jones, the duo put together a band that thrived in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. They went on to win a battle of the bands that would put them on a path to work with multi platinum artist Cody Hanson of Hinder with whom they recorded their first major album with over 400,000 plus streams , The Wrong Things.

This led to them playing with bands such as Hinder, Pop Evil, Papa Roach, Halestorm, Seether, Three Days Grace, Puddle of Mudd, Candlebox, Scotty Austin and more.

The group has since added guitarist, vocalist, and additional songwriter Brad Scott and then Tyler Medley joined the band to play bass.

TRACHEOTOMY Ink Deal With 1126 Records; Band Shares "Compulsory Bloodshed" Music Video

1126 Records is happy to welcome Florida's Tracheotomy to the roster.

Leading the charge on a new wave of deathcore revival, Tracheotomy mix the brutality and production of early Suicide Silence and The Red Chord, the violent live nature of modern hardcore acts like Jesus Piece, and the technicality of Necrophagist. To celebrate their new partnership, Tracheotomy have released a blistering new single, "Compulsory Bloodshed". Watch the video below.

Vocalist Simon Mariante offers, "With 'Compulsory Bloodshed' being our first song released under 1126 Records, we decided to create a new aesthetic, keeping the best parts from our Dissimulation EP and our single, 'Mask Of Sanity'."

He continues, "''Compulsory Bloodshed' is faster than what we usually write, but also short and sweet. This is our first time incorporating more technical guitars in our music, so we’re super hyped to see how that gets received. We hope y’all enjoy the song! Thanks for the support."

The band will appear across the US throughout June and July, supporting Through The Eyes Of The Dead and Warforged, in addition to a handful of headlining dates.

BLACK MAGIC SIX To Release Black Cloud Descending Album In September; Title Track Music Video Streaming

The title of Black Magic Six’s upcoming album, Black Cloud Descending, really sums up the mood and thoughts of its creators during the album making process. It tells stories of constant escaping, accepting defeat, destinies of outcasts, failures, and drunks. Tales of the wiser, exaggerated lies, vague rumours, fuzzy states of mind and suspicious circumstances - even the thought in the back of your head about the possibility of redemption while standing on the edge of the cliff right before falling in; it’s all there.

Second single from the upcoming fifth album is the title track, "Black Cloud Descending". The name of the song was taken from a comment the Asheton brothers’ sister Katy said, when guitarist James Williamson joined The Stooges. Other than that, the new single has nothing to do with this.

The short movie written by the band and director Juho Karhu tells a story about the bad times ahead and how to prepare for overcoming them - no matter how much effort and resources it may take. It’s a story about friendship and that it’s the journey that matters, not the destination. Check out the video below.

Black Cloud Descending is out on September 1 on vinyl, CD and digital platforms. The album was produced, recorded, and mixed by Mitro Kylliäinen at Kung Fu Audio along with BM6 during 2022-2023. Original art used for the album cover was made by Greger Grönholm.

Tracklisting:

"Black Goat"
"Evil Eye Powder"
"Blood Of Babylon"
"Werewolf Of Istanbul"
"Aileen"
"Black Cloud Descending"
"Full House Blues"
"Forsaken Land"
"Landback Pond"
"I Am Drunk"

"Black Cloud Descending" video:

The band will play selected live shows to celebrate the new album in Finland, Germany, Denmark, and Spain.

Watch Pro-Shot Video Of MACHINE HEAD's Performance At Belgium's GRASPOP METAL MEETING

Professionally filmed video of MACHINE HEAD's June 16 performance at the Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium can be seen below.

Featured songs:

01. Aesthetics Of Hate
02. Old
03. My Hands Are Empty

For the Graspop Metal Meeting performance, MACHINE HEAD was rejoined by Polish guitarist Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka (DECAPITATED). Vogg missed MACHINE HEAD's appearance at the Milwaukee Metal Fest last month and was replaced by HAVOK's Reece Alan Scruggs. Scruggs previously played with MACHINE HEAD on the "Electric Happy Hour (Live)" fall 2022 tour. Reece was filling in for Vogg (DECAPITATED),who was unable to make the fall 2022 trek due to his touring commitments with his longtime band DECAPITATED.

In April, MACHINE HEAD canceled its previously announced spring 2023 U.S. tour "due to work visa issues," explaining that "half the band, as well as a handful of key crew members, reside outside of the U.S."

The 18-date "The Electric Happy Hour (Live)" trek was scheduled to kick off on May 15 in Ventura, California and make its way to Des Moines, Fort Wayne, and Detroit before ending in Los Angeles on June 9.

MACHINE HEAD has been touring in support of its latest album, "Of Kingdom And Crown", which came out last August. The follow-up to 2018's "Catharsis" includes the three songs that were featured on the 2021 "Arrows In Words From The Sky" single: "Become The Firestorm", "Rotten" and "Arrows In Words From The Sky". Much of the new MACHINE HEAD album was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with engineer/producer Zack Ohren.

In November 2020, MACHINE HEAD released a single, "My Hands Are Empty", via Nuclear Blast. The song marked the first musical collaboration between Flynn and original "Burn My Eyes" guitarist Logan Mader in 24 years.

"My Hands Are Empty" was just one in a line of singles to be released by MACHINE HEAD, which issued "Do Or Die" in October 2019, "Circle The Drain" in February 2020, and the two-song digital single "Civil Unrest", consisting of "Stop The Bleeding" and "Bulletproof", in June 2020. "Stop The Bleeding" featured guest vocals from KILLSWITCH ENGAGE frontman Jesse Leach, and was written and recorded just days after the murders of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery.

TURBOKILL Debut Music Video For New Single "Time To Wake"

German heavy metal band, Turbokill, have released a video for their new single, "Time To Wake", featured on the band's forthcoming debut album, Vice World. Watch below:

In an enlightened world, it must be allowed to ask how the musical succession to metal legends like Judas Priest or Iron Maiden is to be realized. Or is the change of guards already under way? Following in the footsteps of the metal giants of our era will by no means be an easy feat. Still, it must be done, and we need suitable candidates with a vision who align themselves with the long history of this music genre while taking their compositions and playing style into the future.

Turbokill, the new formation of former Alpha Tiger vocalist Stephan Dietrich, could be such a candidate in the making. The German band comes with an exceptionally set of skills to drive forward a heavy metal style that is traditional yet modern. Is it too bold a thesis then, to name them as a contender? Hardly, especially since the 12 songs making up the group’s first album Vice World  beg to differ. The message comes across loud and clear: The future of the classic heavy metal has already begun.

The debut album, Vice World, will be released on October 25 via SPV/Steamhammer on CD digipak, vinyl LP, download and stream. Pre-order here.

Tracklisting:

"The Grand Delusion"
"Vice World"
"War Thunder"
"Pulse Of The Swarm"
"Global Monkey Show"
"Sail With Pirates"
"Turbokill"
"Kill The Lie"
"Don't Deal With The Devil"
"Track N' Spy"
"End Of Days"
"Fortress Of The Universe"

"End Of Days":

Stephan Dietrich (vocals)

BRAD Feat. STONE GOSSARD, REGAN HAGAR Release New Single And Music Video "Hey Now What’s The Problem?"

Loosegroove Records recording artists, Seattle-based band, Brad, today release their new song and video, “Hey Now What’s The Problem?”, from the upcoming LP,  In The Moment That You’re Born, out July 28.

Brad’s new single shows off the members’ rock-n-roll roots unleashing distorted power chords from guitarist Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam), driving drums and bass guitar from Regan Hagar (Brad, Satchel, Malfunkshun) and Keith Lowe, and, as always, passionate vocals from the late singer Shawn Smith.

The video, directed by creator, drummer and Loosegroove co-founder, Brad’s Regan Hagar, mashes together footage from older Brad performances with imagery from horror films and iconic pop culture movies and television.

“Hey Now What’s The Problem?” is released on the heels of the band’s first single and video in over a decade, “In The Moment That You’re Born”. That song was released on the 30-year anniversary of Brad's acclaimed debut album Shame released on April 27, 1993 on Epic Records.

Shame featured original music that stood as a counterpoint to the music that was coming out of Seattle during that time featuring Shawn Smith’s haunting vocal ability intertwined with the musicianship of the band.

To further mark the anniversary of that landmark LP, pre-orders have begun for limited-edition vinyl reissues of the music. The vinyl will be available in various packaging configurations and released on July 28. Pre-order here.

The LP, In The Moment That You're Born features 10 new self-produced recordings with vocals by Shawn Smith in recording sessions prior to his 2019 passing. The tracks include a new version of “Stars N’ You”; written by the late Seattle musician Andrew Wood (Mother Love Bone, Malfunkshun). The song was originally recorded for the 1986 “Deep Six” compilation by Malfunkshun, and also featured Brad drummer/Loosegroove co-founder Regan Hagar.

In The Moment That You're Born was recorded and mixed by Floyd Reitsma at Studio Litho in Seattle (except for the title track, which was mixed by Josh Evans).

The artwork was created by Hagar and includes photos taken by famed Seattle photographer Lance Mercer.

Swedish Rockers SARAYASIGN To Release The Lion's Road Album In August; "Everdying Night" Music Video Streaming

Swedish rockers, Sarayasign, have announced the upcoming release of their sophomore studio album, The Lion's Road, on August 11. The first single and video from the album, “Everdying Night”, are out today. Watch the clip below, and pre-order/save The Lion's Road here.

"The new album will take the listener on a new journey for sure,” explains drummer/keyboardist/guitarist Jesper Lindbergh. “There will be places, familiarity and sounds and melodies that you'll recognize, but this time around, we've really found our own DNA as a band and most of the things you'll hear are played out in uncharted territory and with an evolved hunger. Welcome to the darker chapter two, The Lion's Road.”

Sarayasign is a cinematic melodic hard rock band, headquartered in Örebro, Sweden. With guitar driven roots from the late ’70s and the cinematic experience of the 21st Century, layered with strings and storytelling driven, melody-focused songs with an edge, the listener will be in for a treat.

Formed in late 2020, with their debut album, Throne Of Gold, released in May 2022, Sarayasign is a concept driven, cinematic, melodic hard rock band that aims for the same experience often felt through films, for they believe that music can propel a narrative and take the listener into unexplored dreamlike and emotional territory. Through the lens and the voice of the storyteller depicted in their lyrics and the atmospheric music and soundscapes of their world called Saraya, created by drummer/keyboardist/guitarist Jesper Lindbergh, Sarayasign wants you to close your eyes and enjoy the journey they will take you on.

The Lion's Road is the band’s sophomore release, the first for the Frontiers Music s.r.l. label. The songs, or shall we say stories, on the upcoming album are directly connected to and a continuation of the initial eight stories told on Throne Of Gold. Transcending time and space, like a lost treasure in the Swedish melodic hard rock scene, with some of the most outstanding musical visionaries and craftsmen the scene has to offer comes a beautifully crafted trajectory that reaches beyond traditional melodic hard rock. Introducing cinematic soundscapes and with the mesmerizing stories that take place in the land of Saraya, Sarayasign brings something new and fresh to the table.

With stellar guitar riffs and haunting melodies and arrangements from childhood dreams merged with Sarayasign’s own twist of cinematic hard rock, the band is able to offer something new that still has strong liaison with the classic sounds.
