BURNING WITCHES Vocalist LAURA GULDEMOND Shares Performance Of Christmas Classic "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (Video)

Burning Witches vocalist Laura Guldemond has shared a video performance of the Christmnas classic, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". Check it out below.

For more videos and excluisve material go to Guldemond's official Patreon page here.

Burning Witches unleashed their fifth studio album, The Dark Tower, on May 5 via Napalm Records. On fifteen energetic tracks, Burning Witches ring the bells for a midnight mass in smoky-warm bars. “World On Fire” first gets the listener’s pulse pumping due to the rising tension of flashy guitar work, before melodic six-string solos unite with unbeatable guitar onslaughts and sophisticated drum attacks - underlining conjuring vocal lines that call out for an evening zombie dance! Restless and intense, the fierce women of Burning Witches shred their instruments on The Dark Tower like no other, but with the soft mid-tempo track “Tomorrow”, the witches settle down to gather their strength for just a moment. Bittersweet melodies float up to the sky like weightless feathers, carrying a message of five confident women. Ready again to gradually increase the tempo, “Heart Of Ice” and “Arrow Of Time” ensnare with extravagant guitar tapping and heroic vocals by Laura, while “The Lost Souls” merges devilish staccato and legato riffs, creating an ominous atmosphere amid the bewitching screams of the five Swiss enchantresses. With their new studio album, Burning Witches not only bring back the glory days of heavy metal, but push it beyond - trapping the soul of each listener with energetic performances on The Dark Tower.

JACK RUSSELL And TRACII GUNS Release 'Tell Me Why' Single From Collaborative Album 'Medusa'

RUSSELL / GUNS has released the lyric video for "Tell Me Why", the second single from the band's upcoming studio album, "Medusa", due out on January 12, 2024 via Frontiers Music Srl.

RUSSELL / GUNS marks the beginning of a fresh artistic partnership between two legendary figures of Los Angeles hard rock: Jack Russell and Tracii Guns, accompanied by Johnny Martin, Shane Fitzgibbon and Alexandro Del Vecchio.

Commenting on the partnership, Guns said: "Jack is one of the greatest rock voices of our generation. It's a total honor to play guitar on this record."

For Russell, this project represents a long-awaited return to recording and new music, coming seven years after the release of "He Saw It Comin'" with JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE. Instead of dwelling on the past and attempting to recreate the storied origins of the multi-platinum hard rock entity, Jack is excited to be moving forward and collaborating with none other than Guns, an artist experiencing a creative resurgence of his own.

On "Medusa", Jack and Tracii have discovered a common thread in a collection of songs that draw from the bluesy power and heavy energy of their most celebrated material and roots, yet infused with a fresh, energetic drive and modern metallic production.

About the album, Jack had this to say: "It was so great making a record with Tracii! Initially, I had my reservations about making this record, but in the end it kicks ass. I'll play with Tracii anytime!"

"Medusa" is an album that showcases inspired artistic integrity and commitment to rock'n'roll from two extraordinary rock stars of the '80s and '90s.

"Medusa" track listing:

01. Next In Line
02. Tell Me Why
03. Coming Down
04. Where I Belong
05. For You
06. Give Me The Night
07. Living A Lie
08. In And Out Of Love
09. Medusa
10. Back Into Your Arms Again
11. I Want You

In 1984, Russell burst on to the scene as the frontman for GREAT WHITE, a prominent presence in the Los Angeles music scene. The band's self-titled debut, along with platinum-selling albums like 1987's "Once Bitten..." and 1989's "...Twice Shy", sold over eight million copies worldwide. Their rock legacy continued into the 21st century, and in 2011, Russell went on to form JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE.

Guns is a legend in his own right. He founded L.A. GUNS in 1983, which later merged with another group called HOLLYWOOD ROSE, laying the foundation for one of the true giants of rock: GUNS N' ROSES. After departing the band and reuniting with former GIRL lead vocalist Phil Lewis to reform L.A. GUNS, he signed with Vertigo Records and released 14 studio albums with the band. He also ventured into various side projects, including CONTRABAND (with Michael Schenker and others),SUNBOMB (with Michael Sweet of STRYPER),and more recently BLACKBIRD ANGELS with Todd Kerns (of SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS).

VLTIMAS Feat. Former MORBID ANGEL Frontman DAVID VINCENT, Ex-MAYHEM Guitarist, CRYPTOPSY Drummer: 'Epic' Album Announced

VLTIMAS (pronounced 'uhl-tuh-mas'),the multinational quinet featuring Norwegian guitarist Rune "Blasphemer" Eriksen (ex-MAYHEM, AURA NOIR),American vocalist David Vincent (ex-MORBID ANGEL) and Canadian drummer Flo Mounier (CRYPTOPSY),will release its second album, "Epic", on March 15, 2024 via Season Of Mist.

The official music video for the LP's lead single, "Miserere", can be seen below.

"Miserere" isn't just another offering at the altar of madness. "I spread my misery, biblically evolved", Vincent sings in a baritone that's so monstrous it could summon an army of the dead. The drums speed ahead mercilessly, mowing down all onlookers under a barrage of surgical blast beats, as riffs hail from all directions with enough firepower to shatter bulletproof glass.

"The world throws us all trials and tribulations constantly," says VLTIMAS. "We use this angst as a weapon in our art to score the apocalypse".

"Epic" track listing:

01. Volens Discordant (1:02)
02. Epic (4:35)
03. Miserere (3:51)
04. Exercitus Irae (4:01)
05. Mephisto Manifesto (05:05)
06. Scorcher (03:21)
07. Invictus (5:30)
08. Nature's Fangs (3:52)
09. Spoils Of War (5:54)

Total runtime: 37:16

Rounded out by Dutch bassist Ype TVS (ex-DODECAHEDRON) and Portuguese guitarist João Duarte (CORPUS CHRISTII),VLTIMAS fortified its signature with wicked invention, as applauded by Decibel magazine, BangerTV, Louder and many others, on their debut, "Something Wicked Marches In" (2019).

"We wrote every bit of 'Epic' together at my ranch in Dime Box, Texas," offers Vincent. "The writing sessions were as organic as they could be. There were times when, at the end of the night, Rune would take his guitar and play something ridiculous. Flo would play something even more ridiculous on top of it. I'd say to the guys, 'I need to capture this.' So, the magic [of VLTIMAS] is being in the same room together, discussing, playing, and recording music and everything else we're doing together. We have unbelievable camaraderie."

While the members of VLTIMAS are not atavists, their preferred creative methods are time-tested and battle-hardened. Technology has its place, but the group thrive when they're together, not separated by the world. Eriksen, renowned as a riff innovator, is more effective when he's got a highly capable sideman like Vincent or Mounier, whose drumming in CRYPTOPSY and his celebrated instructional "Extreme Metal Drumming 101" DVD has proven to be a no-limits player, by his side. Whether it's the moody, angular attack of "Miserere", the wicked groove of "Mephisto Manifesto" or the dark fury of "Nature's Fangs", the chemistry and enterprise of VLTIMAS is undeniable.

"The main goal [of VLTIMAS] is to be real," Eriksen reveals. "To channel the very moment, to let true inspiration out. I don't believe I ever set myself a goal on what an album should or needs to sound like before I or we write it because that means I have to compromise during the process. For 'Epic', we focused on more direct songs, trimming the fat, as opposed to 'Something Wicked Marches In', which had a progressive and 'playful' flair."

VLTIMAS was a profane concept — a constellation of riffs against a modest frame — when formed by Eriksen in 2015. After departing MAYHEM in 2008 and putting his gothic doom outfit AVA INFERI to rest in 2013, the Norwegian's fingers still itched with infernal fury. VLTIMAS was his vent, and when Mounier and Vincent joined, he finally had the cadre of professionals to make it a reality. Together, they devised complementary schemes and themes rooted in rightness. In a world gone mad, VLTIMAS had a vision. On "Something Wicked Marches In", they commanded attention with metaphors about the apocalypse, the ancient goddess Lilith, and truth. Lyrically, "Epic" spears into the very nucleus of strength through Vincent's brio of double entendre and clever wordsmithing. The songs are designed to be heard, read, and interpreted — there are no shortcuts.

"Everything we're doing and messaging is about strength and honor," says Vincent. "These are the fundamentals that I incorporate into my life, which I believe in. I want to share with others, hoping they'll incorporate strength and honor into their lives. I wouldn't say I like spelling lyrics out. I use a lot of double meanings on purpose because I want to inspire the listener to think. I'm not a short attention span guy, and I don't appreciate it. 'Epic' is holistic and meant to be experienced that way."

"Epic" was recorded by producer Jaime Gomez Arellano (PARADISE LOST, GRAVE MIASMA) with engineer Jonathan Mazzeo (first fragment, sickening) at Arda Recorders in Porto, Portugal. VLTIMAS tracked the album throughout May 2023. Arellano also handled the mix and master. Like everything the band does, the main goal was to be honest. The maxim of no sample replacement or re-amping — "Epic" was captured on outboard gear — was adhered to and enjoyed by the team. The result is a sonic expression that sounds like nothing else. From the crushing title track to the epic musicality of closer "Spoils Of War", "Epic" is an absolute beast.

"Stress, long walks, too much alcohol, yet very focused once in the recording mode," Eriksen says of the sessions. "We booked a month, but somehow, that flew by instantly. We worked up until the very end. I even added a few solos at my local Soundscape Studio in Almada, Portugal. Art unfolds, and once you think you are done, there's always another idea popping up."

VLTIMAS brought Italian artist Daniele Valeriani (MAYHEM, UNANIMATED) to visualize "Epic". The aesthetic, as illuminated by music and message, was iconic boldness. The three-eagle head crest with three different crowns, accompanied by transfigured symbols of the Passion and the "impossible triangle," projects effortlessly. In "Epic", the group will dominate. There's no escape from "Miserere", "Mephisto Manifesto", "Scorcher" and "Invictus". Together, they thrust, by resolve and inventiveness, VLTIMAS into the uppermost echelons of extreme metal.

"['Epic' is] old meets contemporary, a symbiosis of all the great things we love about extreme metal," offers Eriksen. "All combined into one album."

"I want to be as emotional and honest [with VLTIMAS]," Vincent adds. "I want to tell stories; I want to have the themes that appeal to me; I want to have some messaging that someone can take away, in this case, strength. 'Epic' is strength."

VLTIMAS is:

David Vincent - Vocals
Rune Blasphemer Eriksen - Guitars
Flo Mounier - Drums
Ype TVS - Bass
João Duarte - Guitars

THE RODS Debut "Play It Loud" Music Video

Following their 2019 album, Brotherhood Of Metal, January 19 sees heavy metal icons, The Rods, release their new studio offering, Rattle The Cage. The album will be available as CD Digipak, Ltd. Vinyl LP and Digital formats via Massacre Records. Pre-order here.

Today, The Rods share a music video for the new single, "Play It Loud". Watch below:

The Rods are a storied heavy metal band that rocked their way through the ‘80s with a powerful, raw energy that had fans and critics alike calling them “The American Motörhead.” Once the go-to opening act for some of the biggest metal bands in the world, The Rods toured throughout the ‘80s with the likes of Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, and Iron Maiden, among others. Along with contemporaries like Anvil and Raven, The Rods are an integral part of what is commonly recognized today as Heavy Metal’s “golden age,” and emerged during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

Heavy, dark, deep, insightful, and maybe even a bit more inciteful than ever before: Rattle The Cage is The Rods at their incendiary best! Lyrically, they’ve taken a cue from David "Rock" Feinstein’s cousin, Ronnie James Dio, providing the listener with a similar sense of hope and resiliency in the face of an ever-changing world. Musically, the band is tighter than ever! Founding members David "Rock" Feinstein and Carl Canedy are joined by new bassist Freddy Villano (Quiet Riot, Widowmaker), and the results are simply sublime: The songs are rhythmically tighter, yet more musically unbound, the grooves heavier, and the melodies more dynamic.

Mixed and mastered by Chris Collier, Rattle The Cage benefits from his masterful, modern touch, with the kind of sound that will simultaneously appeal to core fans as well as new generations of listeners! The Rods epitomize the term power-trio, and the word “power” has never been more evident in their music than it is now. 2024 will mark The Rods' 45th anniversary, in support, they will be playing many special dates and performances to commemorate 45 years together. With such an impressive history firmly notched in their collective belt, The Rods are still firing on all cylinders, and as eager as ever to crank it up, louder than loud!

Rattle The Cage tracklisting:

"Now And Forever"
"Wolves At The Door"
"Cry Out Loud"
"Rattle The Cage"
"Can’t Slow Down"
"Metal Highways"
"Hell Or High Water"
"Play It Loud"
"Shockwave"

MARTY FRIEDMAN Teams Up With Argentina's DANIEL DEVITA On Rock Opera "Paradoja"; Music Video Streaming

At the beginning of October, while singing the popular "aguante, aguante!" for fans in Argentina, Marty Friedman announced through a video on social media that he recorded the guitars for the next release by Argentinian singer and rapper, Daniel Devita.

Those who don't know Devita might assume that it is a song with electronic sounds, adorned with 6-string arrangements, but the Argentinian has a solid band and his rap verses mix very well with hard rock, heavy metal and even furious thrash.

"Paradoja" is about the sci-fi, psychedelia and introspection that will make each listener feel identified in a particular way. Stream the single here., and watch the music video below:

BLACK ABSINTHE Reveals “Call Of The Void” From New Album, On Earth Or In Hell

Toronto based trio Black Absinthe has unveiled their next single, "Call Of The Void", taken from their upcoming album On Earth Or In Hell, set to be released on March 27, 2024. Showcasing their distinctive blend of thrash and NWOBHM, "Call Of The Void" follows Black Absinthe's debut offering and album title track, "On Earth Or In Hell".

The band comments: "A thought, urging us to swerve into oncoming traffic or jump from the balcony ledge are contemplations of the mind found in reality. The French have a phrase for it, 'L’appel du vide'. But where are these intrusive thoughts coming from? Is this instinct misread as temptation on our journey to survive? Or a defensive mechanism towards danger."

"This song has been crafted from the insanity of our live sets and now, 'Call Of The Void' can be heard with immense power and production that brings the listener towards, and back down a razor's edge. We channeled Slayer, Testament, and the swirling descent of Anthrax's 'Madhouse' when diving into the musical bridge of demonic harmonies, thick lead solo, and chest pounding stops that are carried throughout the song. The lyrics decipher the mystery of a severed instinct, no logic can explain. This track is meant to be explored at a high volume.”

THE ROLLING STONES have release the music video for "Mess It Up". The clip stars British actor Nicholas Hoult who last week was confirmed by DC Studios CEO James Gunn to play Lex Luthor in the forthcoming "Superman: Legacy" movie. The video was shot in the U.S. by Grammy Award-winning director Calmatic (Kendrick Lamar, Anderson Paak)

"Mess It Up" is taken from THE ROLLING STONES' latest album, "Hackney Diamonds", which is currently on course to become the U.K. Christmas No. 1 LP following the release of the 2CD live edition of the album featuring the band's October 2023 show at Racket, New York.

Next spring and summer, THE ROLLING STONES are going back on the road with a brand-new tour performing in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Fans can expect to experience Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood play their most popular hits ranging from "Start Me Up", "Gimme Shelter", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Satisfaction" and more, as well as fan favorite deep cuts and music from "Hackney Diamonds".

The "Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds" sponsored by AARP is set to kick off April 28, 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, with stops in Las Vegas, Glendale, East Rutherford, Seattle, Foxboro, Orlando, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Denver, Chicago, Vancouver, Los Angeles and Santa Clara. THE STONES will also make a stop at next year's New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival for a special performance on May 2.

"Hackney Diamonds" is THE STONES' first studio set of new material since 2005's "A Bigger Bang". Since then, THE STONES have continued to smash box office records on a series of global sell-out tours and released 2016's Grammy Award-winning "Blue & Lonesome", which featured their brilliant versions of many of the blues tracks that helped shape their sound, and topped album charts around the world. Last year, they thrilled European audiences totaling nearly a quarter of a million on the anniversary "Sixty" tour. THE ROLLING STONES have sold over 250 million albums worldwide.

In October, THE ROLLING STONES achieved a significant milestone by claiming their 14th Number 1 album in the United Kingdom with "Hackney Diamonds", outperforming all other albums in the Top 5 in terms of sales.

In its first week, "Hackney Diamonds" amassed an impressive 72,200 chart units, making it the third highest-selling album of 2023 so far.

With 11 different studio albums reaching the top spot, THE ROLLING STONES have now tied with THE BEATLES, Robbie Williams and Bruce Springsteen, all of whom also have 11 studio albums that reached Number 1 on the U.K.'s Official Albums Chart.

Additionally, "Hackney Diamonds" claimed the top position on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, marking the album with the highest number of copies sold in the vinyl format the week of its release, and making it the biggest week for vinyl sales of any album this year.

The 12-track album, was recorded in various locations around the world, including Henson Recording Studios, Los Angeles; Metropolis Studios, London; Sanctuary Studios, Nassau, Bahamas; Electric Lady Studios, New York; and The Hit Factory/Germano Studios, also in New York.

"Hackney Diamonds" album opener, the aforementioned "Angry", is followed by a further 11 tracks. Late drummer Charlie Watts features on two tracks, "Mess It Up" and "Live By The Sword". "Live By The Sword" additionally features bass from former STONES bassist Bill Wyman. "Bite My Head Off" has bass from Paul McCartney, and "Get Close" and "Live By The Sword" feature piano from Elton John.

In September, THE STONES launched the album at a globally livestreamed event from Hackney Empire in East London. The livestream was followed by the premiere of the video for "Angry" starring Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney ("The White Lotus", "Euphoria", "The Handmaid's Tale"),which to date has had over 22 million views.

"Hackney Diamonds" marks THE ROLLING STONES' first collaboration with New York-born producer and musician Andrew Watt, who was named "Producer Of The Year" at the 2021 Grammy Awards and has worked with Post Malone, Iggy Pop and Elton John.

The bespoke artwork for "Hackney Diamonds" is by digital animator Paulina Almira.

THE ROLLING STONES' new LP is the first since Watts died in 2021.

THE ROLLING STONES released a new track, "Living In A Ghost Town", in 2020.

In 2016, the band released "Blue & Lonesome", a covers collection paying tribute to old-school blues.

Now, with the upcoming release of "Screaming Steel", James Durbin is poised to deliver another sonic assault. If you're a fan of the classic sounds of JUDAS PRIEST, early DIO, '80s BLACK SABBATH and timeless U.S. heavy metal, brace yourself for an intense musical experience. "Screaming Steel" promises to resonate with heavy metal enthusiasts, drawing inspiration from the genre's rich heritage while maintaining a contemporary edge.

Following the success of his label debut "The Beast Awakens", which was released on February 12, 2021, Durbin has solidified his place as a force to be reckoned with in the heavy metal scene. "The Beast Awakens" showcased pure, unadulterated, headbanging heavy metal, drawing influences from classic '80s heavy metal while forging a path uniquely his own. The album received acclaim from fans of the genre and marked a triumphant return for DURBIN.

James Durbin's journey into the music industry gained widespread attention during his appearance on Season 10 of "American Idol", where he fearlessly championed heavy metal. On the finale, he shared the stage with legendary metal icons JUDAS PRIEST for unforgettable renditions of "Livin' After Midnight" and "Breaking The Law".

Throughout his career, Durbin has collaborated with an impressive array of musicians, including Stevie Wonder, Don Was, Zakk Wylde, Sheryl Crow, Tom Jones, Mick Mars of MÖTLEY CRÜE, Bob Babbitt of THE FUNK BROTHERS and STEEL PANTHER, among others.

Fans of heavy metal revivalists and classic heavy metal aficionados alike are in for a treat as Durbin continues to unleash his metal prowess upon the world.

KOBRA AND THE LOTUS Vocalist KOBRA PAIGE Releases "Thank You" Single

Classically-trained vocal powerhouse, Kobra Paige, is best known for her time as founder, lead singer and songwriter of double Juno-nominated hard rock outfit Kobra And The Lotus. Over the course of six albums and one EP, the band charted several songs at rock radio and garnered over 46 million streams across various platforms (Spotify, YouTube, etc.). Kobra And The Lotus have played over 800 shows worldwide in 20+ countries and have performed for tens of thousands at some of the world’s biggest music festivals (Rock Am Ring, Hellfest, Download, Wacken and more).

Kobra has released her new solo single, "Thank You". Check it out below.

Kobra's previous single, “Under One Sun”, had its worldwide premiere on AXS TV’s Power Hour. Check out the epic video that depicts the power of nature, healing and the divine feminine below.

Of “Under One Sun,” Kobra Paige commented, “This song is incredibly symbolic for me as it was the very first one ever written for this album. Co-written on an acoustic in Nashville alongside producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Evanescence), the song was formally recorded and produced by Brian Howes (Skillet, Chris Cornell, Mother Mother). Brian played all the various guitar layers and together with engineer Karl Dicaire, we elevated it to the global sound the messaging called for. ‘UOS’ speaks to our resilience and capacity to heal as human beings. It serves as a reminder that we can heal enough to coexist with the things in life that wound us the most. I hope this song and video bring grace into your darkest crevices of pain, grief, traumas and suffering you have endured.”

"Under One Sun" and "Thank You" are featured on Kobra Paige’s forthcoming debut solo album, the title of which has now been revealed; Like No Other is due out April 5. It is produced by Grammy Award winner Brian Howes (Skillet, Linkin Park, Simple Plan). The first single from Like No Other", “Love What I Hate” is chartbound, added to over thirty Active Rock radio stations.

ROBERT FRIPP & TOYAH Celebrate The Christmas Season With "Jingle Bell Rock" (Video)

King Crimson founder Robert Fripp and his wife, Toyah Willcox, have released the video below, along with the following message:

"Merry Christmas from the Sunday Lunch team! This week is a true gem! Enjoy!"

Toyah recently revealed in an interview with eonmusic that a movie of the Sunday Lunch series is in the planning. The weekly event, which sees Toyah and partner Robert Fripp cover songs from across the rock spectrum, started during the lockdown of 2020, and has grown into a "phenomenon," according to the singer.

Toyah made the revelation while speaking to eonmusic's Eamon O'Neill ahead of her performance at Rewind South in Henley-on-Thames in August.

Speaking about how Sunday Lunch has taken off; Toyah said; "Well, the Sunday lunch phenomenon, which is a worldwide phenomenon, it's basically, we picked up on classic rock, and our treatment of rock is; if you can teach Mozart and Beethoven in schools, then why can't you teach classic rock? Because that's what it is now; rock from Led Zeppelin, rock from Black Sabbath; it's classic, it's never going to go away. And it's something that I think, kids would really love learning about. That's not that we're going on the road and being educational, but our show kind of goes on a journey with artists we know, artists who visit us in our homes."

Going on to reveal that a movie about Sunday Lunch is on the way, Toyah said; "We have a documentary crew following us, and we have quite a big production company scripting an idea at the moment. Obviously we won't be in it. It's for actors to play, but that's all in the back kind of pool of what do you call pre-production. All of that's going on."

Asked when the movie might see the light of day, she was however, less committal; "I mean, movies take years, you know, for the even scripts to be accepted, so who knows what will happen?"

Read the interview here.

Finland's WHERE'S MY BIBLE Unleash New Single / Video "Creator Of Abyss"

After a successful South American tour in October, Where’s My Bible have released the awaited second single, "Creator Of Abyss", from their upcoming album. With this release the band show their darkest side so far. In addition to sinister death metal, the band brings elements of black metal to their sound to create this song.

Check out the official video below. The single is available here.

Vocalist Jussi Matilainen comments: "'Creator Of Abyss' is a song that deviates thematically from the upcoming album's main theme. Of course, it still delves into the intricacies of the human mind, but the mood of the song strongly takes you to darker places.

The story is about a very serious disease that ravages a person and eventually takes its victim with it. It is a story about how this kind of illness not only exhausts the sick person, but also eats away at his loved ones mentally and even physically - how mental well-being is corrupted and suffering increases. In this song, we wanted to create this disease as a physical entity that only causes destruction around it and eats in abundance endlessly.

'Creator Of Abyss' is one of the darkest songs we've ever released and therefore fits perfectly with that story. It has been our intention for some time to write a song about such a topic and as soon as this song was composed, we knew that the two fit together seamlessly.

As before, I immediately got a certain vision of the music video and its story when I first heard the song. Over the years, we have formed such a perfect and tight-knit group that we were able to capture the vision and the story perfectly in the music video. This might even be the best music video in the history of Where's My Bible."

Starting their new era in 2022 by releasing concept EP, Circle, Where’s My Bible will continue with a distinctive sound that introduces new melodic elements - ancient instruments and Scandinavian mythology. With this sound they will continue thriving forward to the year 2024 and releasing their new album at the start of the year.

The new album will tell stories about the human mind through metaphors and tales from Scandinavian mythology, as the album’s first single, "Fenrir", also did. In addition to these stories and compositions, the band will present more amazing music videos that bring the tales of the songs to life.

A List Media Entertainment and Magnolia Pictures Home Entertainment recently announced their partnership to distribute the evocative new music documentary, Yoshiki: Under The Sky on digital on demand in North America following the success of the global theatrical release of Yoshiki's directorial debut, which has been released in over 130 cinemas in Japan, Europe, and the United States to date. The documentary feature will stream on a major platform in early 2024.

Yoshiki: Under The Sky gathers an extraordinary collection of international artists for an emotional journey through the pain of losing loved ones and uniting globally through the healing power of music. Shot in Germany, Beijing, Tokyo, and LA, the film features interviews and performances from The Chainsmokers (USA), St. Vincent (USA), Scorpions (Germany), Sarah Brightman (UK), Nicole Scherzinger (USA), HYDE (Japan), SUGIZO (Japan), SixTONES (Japan), Jane Zhang (China), and Lindsey Stirling (USA), as it crosses international borders and celebrates an array of diverse voices coming together at a time of universal upheaval.

The film is produced by Emmy Award winner Sid Ganis (Iron Man, Akeelah and the Bee, The Making of Raiders of the Lost Ark), Emmy Award winner Mark Ritchie (Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, The Big Steppers Tour: Live from Paris), along with consulting producer Stephen Kijak (WE ARE X, Stones in Exile, Scott Walker: 30 Century Man) and directed by Yoshiki – composer, drummer, pianist, and leader of rock bands X Japan and The Last Rockstars. The project is the artist’s first feature film as director and was conceived during the pandemic when musicians could not connect with their fans.

Watch the performance of "Closer" with The Chainsmokers below:

Yoshiki was recently profiled in TIME magazine and in September 2023 became the first Japanese artist in almost 100 years to be honored with a handprint and footprint ceremony at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood since the tradition began in 1927. Amongst Yoshiki’s long list of accolades in music, fashion, and film, he has composed a concerto for the Emperor of Japan; was the first Japanese man on the cover of Vogue Japan; was chosen to be the first living person to have a Hello Kitty doll named after him, called 'Yoshikitty', and has received international recognition for his continued philanthropic efforts.

In October 2023, Yoshiki headlined a sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City, after dazzling audiences and receiving standing ovations at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Tokyo Garden Theater, and Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. This marks the first time a Japanese artist has headlined all of these historic venues.

Check out the official trailer for Yoshiki: Under The Sky below.

Yoshiki comments: "Magnolia Pictures has been a fantastic distribution partner, and I am thrilled that more people will now have the opportunity to experience this celebration of music featuring so many talented artists from across the globe. The message of this film is that, as humans, we are all here to support each other, not hate each other. I would like people to watch this film to realize why we’re here. We are supposed to spread our love."
