IMPELLITTERI Guitarist Checks In From The Studio - "I Am Thrilled By The Writing, Performance And Contribution Of Each Band Member For Our New Record"
"I am thrilled by the writing, performance, and contribution of each Impellitteri band member for our new upcoming record, Time Machine. Rob Rock's vocals so far are mesmerizing. He is right in line with guys like Bruce Dickinson, Ronnie James Dio, and even Axl Rose. Bassist James Pullie is playing like a mad Geezer Butler and Steve Harris, and our new drummer Jon Dette is insane; I guess it helps that Jon had plenty of warmup for this new record when he recently toured as Slayer and Anthrax's drummer.
These guys are definitely bringing their A-game to this new Impellitteri music. I am also pushing myself as a guitarist, musician and artist so that we can deliver the best music possible to anyone who will listen to us. Looking forward to Time Machine in 2015 and on!"
Impellitteri previously issued the following message:
"As we are in the mid-point of recording the new Impellitteri record, Time Machine, I am excited for our fans and friends around the world to hear this new music! At the same time I, like all artists, have fear of how we will be received. Will the critics try to discredit our style of music saying we play too many notes, sing too high, play too fast, are too metal, not metal enough, dated, or too polished with our big production? Will the media cover us, and will what's left of the music industry help us share this music with the masses?
Either way, Impellitteri are making a KILLER new record because we love playing our style of music, sharing it with anyone who will listen to us, and challenging ourselves to make a record that everyone will want to listen to many times over! Time Machine to be released in 2015!"
