ROB ZOMBIE Releases First Teaser Trailer For His Movie Reboot Of 'The Munsters'Rob Zombie has released the first teaser trailer for his upcoming movie reboot of the classic 1960s sitcom "The Munsters".
Zombie's film reboot of "The Munsters" reportedly began filming in May 2021 and will feature Zombie's wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, cast as Lily Munster, and Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster. The cast will also include Daniel Roebuck co-starring as Grandpa Munster. Richard Brake ("31", "3 From Hell") is playing Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang. Catherine Schell ("Space: 1999", "The Return Of The Pink Panther") is playing "Zoya Krupp the gypsy queen." Dee Wallace, Cassandra "Elvira" Peterson and Jorge Garcia will also star.
Zombie told EW that "The Munsters" is more family-friendly than his previous films.
"Yeah, it's 100 percent in the spirit of the show," he said. "I didn't want it to be different. I wanted to totally retain the vibe that it had in the '60s."
Regarding his choices for the actors in the movie, Rob said: "I wanted to cast people that had worked together a lot. I couldn't risk getting on set in Budapest [Hungary] and going, my leads aren't getting along, they have no chemistry. So that's why I chose the cast I chose. Jeff Daniel Phillips and Sheri Moon Zombie and Daniel Roebuck, they work together a lot and I knew they would just fall right into it."
As for how Petersen ended up playing real estate agent Barbara Carr, Rob said: "We've been friends with Cassandra for I don't even know how long. She was at our wedding, she was at Sheri's shower. We've been friends with her for at least 25 years. So that was another good person that could come in and fit right in, totally familiar."
"The Munsters" will be released this fall by Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production arm of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group.
The original "The Munsters" aired on CBS for two seasons from September 1964 to May 1966.
Zombie, who is a massive "Munsters" fan, joined Butch Patrick for a commentary track for the film "Munster, Go Home!", which was released on Blu-ray by Scream Factory in 2020.
A musician, filmmaker, and author, Rob Zombie has directed eight feature films, including 2019's "3 From Hell", 2016's "31" and 2012's "The Lords Of Salem". His other directing credits include the cult favorite "House Of 1000 Corpses" and its companion, "The Devil's Rejects", along with the 2007 re-imagining of John Carpenter's "Halloween", plus its sequel, "Halloween 2". Zombie also developed his own comic book series into an R-rated animated feature, "The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto".
Zombie admitted to The Pulse Of Radio a while back that it's been tough for him to break out of the horror genre. "The movies I've made up to this point have been pretty dark and pretty much in that world because those are the opportunities that were presented," he explained. "You know, the people that put up the money for these things know that if I stick to that sort of thing, it's easily more profitable. So it's a much bigger challenge to break out of it."
Zombie released his seventh studio album, "The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy", in March 2021 via Nuclear Blast. The LP marked his first new album in nearly five years.

JOHN CORABI Urges Gun Control Reform: 'Stop With The Thoughts And Prayers And F***ing Do Something'Former MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman John Corabi has blasted the U.S. Congress for being unwilling or unable to pass substantial federal legislation to curb gun violence in America. Speaking to Australia's Silver Tiger Media, the 63-year-old singer, who lives in Nashville, said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "It's really funny. They were just talking about it on the news. Ninety percent — it's a pretty big number — but ninety percent of Americans are okay with stricter gun policies. Not taking the guns away — just stricter policies in the purchase of. So you look at that and you go, 'Wait, ninety percent. Okay, well, they should be able to sit down at a table and pass the law.' But for some reason, that ten percent and these NRA companies, like these lobbyists, have completely paid off all these politicians in Washington. And they're, like, the same guys are, like, 'Our thoughts and prayers are with the families. Our thoughts and prayers are with the communities.' And it's just, like, 'Dude, stop with the thoughts and prayers and fucking do something so that our kids feel a little safer going to school.' And it'll never get done."
Corabi made his comments just a couple of weeks after a mass shooting in a Uvalde, Texas elementary school resulted in the deaths of at least 19 children and two adults. The massacre came only 10 days after an 18-year-old gunman in body armor killed 10 shoppers and workers at a supermarket in a predominantly black area of Buffalo, New York.
Whenever there's a mass shooting, the ongoing debate over gun control comes back into the national spotlight. But amid all the arguing and finger-pointing that always accompanies a topic this controversial, nothing seems to break the legislative stalemate that exists on this issue.
According to CNN, the number of U.S. deaths from gun violence in 2019 was about 4 per 100,000 people. That's 18 times the average rate in other developed countries. Multiple studies show access to guns contributes to higher firearm-related homicide rates.
Corabi isn't the only rock musician who has called on lawmakers to enact stricter gun control. Four years ago, LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe demanded action instead of just thoughts and prayers after a troubled former student opened fire with a military-style rifle at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
He wrote: "No more 'thoughts and prayers,' please. You can take those and put them towards something that only God, fate, random chance, the universe, whatever you believe/do not believe in can affect — they might do some good there.
"Instead of 'thinking and praying,' here's a CONCRETE ACTION you can take — you can contact your legislators and DEMAND that there be some reasonable, common-sense gun law changes. DEMAND IT AND KEEP DEMANDING IT.
"Most of the American people, including a lot of gun owners, want this. Why isn't this happening? How many more kids have to die until WE THE PEOPLE get fed up enough to force the government to do something?
"The time for 'thoughts and prayers' is long past — it's a slap in the face of people who continue to die as a result of crazy people armed with LEGALLY obtained high-powered semiautomatic weapons, weapons that are designed for JUST ONE THING — killing human beings.
"I grew up in the country with guns in the house — these were shotguns, used for hunting. You don't use an AR-15 for hunting deer, you use it for hunting MEN or (apparently) CHILDREN.
"Some people don't like the term 'assault rifle.' Okay, cool — why don't we call them 'Kid Killers' then? Is that a little better? Can we get a little KID KILLER control happening? Is it still 'too early' to start talking about getting these KID KILLERS off the streets? Are the students who survived the massacre in Florida and who are publicly begging us, the adults in charge of things, for gun law reform 'politicizing' the whole thing? Is it 'too early' for THEM to bring it up? Should we just tell them to shut up because they are children and don't understand adult matters, stuff like why crazy people can easily buy assault rifles and then SHOOT THEM DEAD in the classroom?
"NO MORE THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS — THEY AIN'T WORKING."
A year and a half ago, Dee Snider and Sebastian Bach called on politicians to address gun violence in America after a string of mass shootings, including one that killed 10 people in Colorado. Snider took to his Twitter to respond to a four-week-old tweet from staunch Second Amendment supporter Lauren Boebert, who represents Colorado's 3rd Congressional District, in which she wrote: "The people who think we need more gun control are the same people who think the 'AR' in 'AR-15' stands for assault rifle." The TWISTED SISTER singer fired back: "I thought it stood for 'You AR a fucking idiot!' - sincerely, Dee Snider. Proud gun owner, 2nd amendment advocate AND BELIEVER IN INTELLIGENT GUN CONTROL!!! If you need an AR-15 for self defense...you are a terrible shot."
Bach apparently agreed with Snider, sharing Dee's tweet and writing: "The people that believe that it's the year 1776 & the 2nd Amendment applies literally in 2021 do not understand the difference between a Musket and an AR-15." The ex-SKID ROW frontman also replied to a 2019 tweet from former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in which she wrote: "Democrats say we have guns in America because of 'corruption'. No, we have guns because it's our God-given right enshrined in the Constitution." Sebastian tweeted: "God does not give a shit about guns and he does not give a shit about what you say. Stop using God to justify murder and your ignorance".
Bach had previously voiced his views on guns several times, including in August 2019 after back-to-back mass shootings in the United States left at least 29 dead and 53 injured in Texas and Ohio. At the time, Bach repeatedly lambasted then-President Donald Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Vice President Mike Pence and other Republican leaders for their inaction on gun regulation. "You and your useless Republican party don't give a fuck about the safety of the citizens of the USA," the singer wrote in response to a tweet of consolation from Ohio senator Rob Portman. "Your 'prayers' are a slap in the face to the 30 people who were mowed down yesterday because of your uselessness."
Several other high-profile musicians have called on lawmakers to take action when it comes to gun laws in the United States, including Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT), Paul Stanley (KISS), Nikki Sixx (MÖTLEY CRÜE) and Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT).

Funeral Doom Act ANGMODNES Sign With Black Lion Records; Debut Album Teaser AvailableFuneral doom act Angmodnes will release their debut album on September 30th via Black Lion Records. Three tracks of pure funeral doom for fans of Evoken, Frowning and Shape Of Despair
The Weight Of Eternity is Angmodnes' first offering; an album in the works since 2013 and finally completed in 2022. Within its 36:21 runtime, it paints an utterly bleak and hopeless picture of one damned to live on forever, after everything and everyone has long since passed away. The doom laid upon this wretched soul can be seen metaphorically, as those who have lost any sense of attachment to this world and who are so far removed from life as to scarcely be able to think about anything other than death, are they not just as alone?
A teaser is available below.
Tracklist:
"Weight Of Eternity"
"Hollow Earth"
"Under Darkened Vaults"
Line-up:
Y.S. - Compositions, guitars, bass, vocals, recording, mixing & mastering

No Foul Play Suspected In Death Of Founding BON JOVI Bassist ALEC JOHN SUCHAccording to TMZ, founding BON JOVI bassist Alec John Such asked a friend for help in the middle of the night over the weekend, just hours before he was found dead.
Horry County chief deputy coroner Tamara Willard told the site that Alec woke up at his South Carolina home at around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday (June 4) to use the bathroom. On his way back to bed, Alec called out to a friend who was staying with him. The friend helped Alec get back into bed and then left the room. When the friend came back later to check on Alec, he was dead. An ambulance was called but the paramedics couldn't revive the 70-year-old musician. It's believed he died of natural causes. No accident or foul play is suspected.
The news of Alec's passing was broken by BON JOVI leader Jon Bon Jovi who took to his social media on Sunday (June 5) to write: "We are heartbroken to hear the news of the passing of our dear friend Alec John Such. He was an original. As a founding member of BON JOVI, Alec was integral to the formation of the band. … To be honest, we found our way to each other thru him — He was a childhood friend of Tico [Torres] and brought Richie [Sambora] to see us perform. Alec was always wild and full of life. Today these special memories bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. We will miss him dearly."
John Such, who also played in an earlier band with Sambora, THE MESSAGE, before ultimately joining BON JOVI, remained in the latter group until his departure in 1994. He was replaced by bassist Hugh McDonald, who became an official member of the band in 2016.
"When I was 43, I started to get burned out," John Such told The Asbury Park Press in 2000. "It felt like work, and I didn't want to work. The reason I got into a band to begin with is because I didn't want to work."
John Such was in BON JOVI when the band released its third album, "Slippery When Wet", a massive hit which sold 12 million copies. Its follow-up, 1988's "New Jersey", was just as successful.
John Such was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2018 along with the rest of the original BON JOVI band. At the time, he said in his acceptance speech: "When Jon Bon Jovi called me up and asked me to be in his band many years ago, I soon realized how serious he was and he had a vision that he wanted to bring us to, and I am too happy to have been a part of that vision."
He continued: "These guys are the best. We had so many great times together and we wouldn't be here if it wasn’t for those guys. Love them to death and always will."

AMARANTHE Parts Ways With Singer HENRIK ENGLUND WILHELMSONSwedish modern metallers AMARANTHE have parted ways with longtime singer Henrik "GG6" Englund Wilhelmson.
Henrik announced his exit from AMARANTHE in a social media post earlier today (Wednesday, June 8). He wrote: "I'm sorry to say that I got some sad news for ya'll! I will no longer be a part of AMARANTHE.
"After 2 years at home caused by corona, something hit me. I freakin loved being at home with my family and started to dream about doing something else. Something more important and also to NOT spend more time away from my kids. For many reasons I also slowly stopped enjoying life on the road with AMARANTHE. It became more of a job and something i pushed myself to do. Not like back in the days when I had some serious fun all the time!
"I want to thank all my fans for your support over the years and I promise I'll be back with killer 'GG6' stuff in the future when the mood and creativity finds it way back to me!
"Cheers n love and good luck to AMARANTHE in the future."
The remaining members of AMARANTHE stated: "We fully respect and understand Henrik's decision, and we wish him all the best on his future adventures. Henrik is truly one of the world's foremost growlers, as anyone who have seen him rip through our songs live knows, and we can't wait to see what he comes up with next! Keep your eyes peeled to his socials to stay up to date with forthcoming GG6 madness!"
AMARANTHE added: "This summer's shows will be performed by two special guests, stay tuned!"
Last December, AMARANTHE dropped a music video for its latest single "PvP" (gamer speech for "Player Versus Player"). The track, which was released in November, was the official anthem for the Swedish team at the international e-sports world championship. The clip was directed by Poland's Grupa13, which previously worked with AMARANTHE on the "Archangel" and "BOOM!1" videos.
AMARANTHE has spent the last decade establishing itself as a formidable, positive and fervently melodic force for metallic good. From their explosive self-titled debut in 2011 to the more sophisticated, streamlined likes of 2014's "Massive Addictive" and its immaculate follow-up "Maximalism" (2016),AMARANTHE has masterfully blurred the lines between melodic metal, crushing brutality, cinematic sweep and futuristic sparkle. Led by the endlessly ingenious songwriting of guitarist Olof Mörck and powerhouse vocalist Elize Ryd, their rise to prominence has been a joy to behold.
Widely acclaimed as a dazzling live act, the Swedes reached a new peak of creativity on 2018's hugely successful "Helix": an album that pushed the band's vision to new heights, breadths and depths, while showcasing the brilliance of Elize and her co-vocalists, Wilhelmsson and recent recruit Nils Molin.
After 9 years and four albums together, Henrik "GG6" Englund Wilhelmson has now chosen to end his journey with...

ARCH ENEMY: 'Deceivers' Album Release DelayedExtreme metal masters ARCH ENEMY have pushed back the release date of their 11th studio album, "Deceivers", to August 12 from the previously announced July 29.
Earlier today, ARCH ENEMY issued the following statement regarding the matter: "Dear ARCH ENEMY fans, due to unforeseen circumstances, the release of the new album 'Deceivers' has to be postponed two weeks. The new release date will be August 12th. This is later than expected, but we promise it will be worth the wait. We want to thank you for your great support and hope to meet as many of you as possible this summer!"
Last month, ARCH ENEMY released a new seven-inch single, "Sunset Over The Empire", with the title track also appearing on "Deceivers". The official music video for "Sunset Over The Empire", directed by Grupa13, was made available the same day.
In a recent interview with Tampa Bay Creative Loafing, ARCH ENEMY singer Alissa White-Gluz stated about the band's decision to release more singles than usual this time around.
"I think over the course of the last couple of years everyone has had to rethink how they release because of the way music is consumed now," she said. "We put equal time into all the songs, but then, maybe only two or three of them get highlighted as singles. But that's not to say that the rest of the songs didn't take just as much time and energy and heart to create. We have fans who know every single song, but we wanted to give people an opportunity to discover a little bit more about our sound."
ARCH ENEMY played the first show of "The North American Siege 2022" tour with BEHEMOTH and NAPALM DEATH on April 16 at The Marquee in Tempe, Arizona. ARCH ENEMY's set included the first three new songs the group released over the last few months: "Deceiver, Deceiver", "House Of Mirrors" and "Handshake With Hell".
ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott previously stated about "Deceivers": "Having just celebrated our 25th anniversary as a group and now releasing our 11th studio album, one could easily assume that we would be cruising along and going through the motions at this point. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to ARCH ENEMY and our new album, 'Deceivers'.
"It is, without a doubt, always a challenge to raise the bar each time in both the songwriting and production side of things, and it can feel a bit daunting before we get into it. But once we do get started and fully immerse ourselves in the creative process, it's really like there is nothing else in the world and we are very focused. And believe it or not, for the most part, we have a ton of fun making this music! Creating 'Deceivers' was no different. Once again we shut out the outside world and went deep into the artistic zone. I believe we pulled out some really interesting musical and lyrical themes this time, a few things might even raise an eyebrow or two — while retaining all the signature elements of the band. In the end, it's ARCH ENEMY at full speed and power."
ARCH ENEMY will appear at select summer festivals before embarking on the rescheduled "European Siege 2022" trek (with BEHEMOTH, CARCASS, UNTO OTHERS) in the fall. 6

BELPHEGOR – The Devils Album Pushed Back To July 8 Release Due To Manufacturing DelayNotorious European diabolical death metal squadron Belphegor has pushed back the release of their new album, The Devils, from June 24 to July 8.
The band says: “Belphegor legions, the manufacturing of the gatefold sleeves for our new LP The Devils will take a few weeks longer than expected, so we have decided to reschedule the physical and digital release of The Devils To July 8, 2022 to ensure you all may experience the new record at the same time!"
Belphegor recently released an atmospheric video for the new single, "Virtus Asinaria - Prayer".
"Virtus Asinaria - Prayer" is a change of pace with its more sustained yet inherently sinister approach, slowly luring you in with entrancing melodies and ceremonial chants that indicate impending doom. The video for the song was partially shot at the scenic and infamous Neudegg Alm in Abtenau, Austria, and it can be viewed below.
Helmuth states: "Our new video for the track 'Virtus Asinaria - Prayer' pairs Belphegor's bizarre live procession with an intimate ritual of sulphur, passion & blood. For he shall rise, heretic goat of flesh & lust! It stands for what Belphegor has always stood: liberty and the everlasting spiritual & bodily manifestation of carnal sin upon this rotten world!”
With The Devils, long-running diabolical death metal titans Belphegor unleash their twelfth studio album upon the masses, which proves to be one of the strongest and most elaborate records in the group’s career. Mixed & mastered at renowned Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren (Kreator, Rotting Christ, At The Gates), The Devils sounds absolutely crushing and dynamic, sonically pushing the immense variety of the eight tracks to new heights.

DEATHWHITE Streaming Entire Grey Everlasting Album Ahead Of Friday ReleaseEnigmatic dark metal outfit, Deathwhite, will release their third studio album, Grey Everlasting, on June 10 via Season Of Mist. An advanced album stream can be found below.
Written just as the global lockdown began in March 2020, Grey Everlasting is an album of diversity and depth. While the band’s clean vocal delivery set to the backdrop of unyielding dark metal remains ever-present, some new wrinkles are added to Deathwhite’s sound. Extreme metal elements - a reference to the band’s musical background - as well as heavy keyboard orchestration have been brought to the fore. The album also treads more atmospheric paths while staying true to Deathwhite’s melodic underpinnings.

HYDRA To Release Debut Album, Point Break, In August; "Stop The Madness" Music Video StreamingFrontiers Records announce the signing of Hydra, a new melodic rock band from Sweden. The group's debut album, Point Break, will be released on August 5.
Today, the band has released the first single and video from the album, "Stop The Madness". Watch the video below, and pre-order/save Point Break here. A second single, "Bringing Down The Moon" is also available today. Listen here, and below.
Hydra is the brainchild of Swedish songwriter/musician Henrik Hedström, who has been a songwriter based out of Stockholm for many years and a friend of drummer/producer Daniel Flores (First Signal, Find Me, The Murder Of My Sweet) for the past 15 years. Flores drums and plays keyboards on the album, vocals and lead and rhythm guitars are handled by Andi Kravljaca (Aeon Zen, Seventh Wonder), and bass and fretless bass by Jonny Trobro (Find Me, First Signal). Henrik plays keyboards and acoustic and clean guitars in Hydra.
In his own words, Henrik Hedström was "kind of a musical prodigy and always sang or played piano at the school celebrations." In Stockholm, Henrik started and joined a few bands through the years, serving as a singer, guitar player, and songwriter. He eventually decided to start a solo career and began working with Swedish producer Anders Bagge. After some time with Anders, Henrik started a new band, Hydra. Around the same time, Henrik was signed as a songwriter by Warner/Chappell, writing pop music, but this ultimately wasn't where his heart was and he eventually started a career outside of music.
In 2007, Henrik met Daniel Flores, whom he was introduced to through a mutual friend, Andreas Novak (Mind's Eye, House of Shakira). The two wound up recording some pop music demos for Warner/Chappell, but again, Henrik's heart wasn't really in it and in 2009, he ended his deal with Warner/Chappell. In 2019, Flores reached out to Henrik and asked him to send over some old and newer versions of his songs, particularly the rock ones. Later in 2019, Henrik's song "A Million Miles" was recorded and released by First Signal and in 2020, "Beat Them All" by Angelica, both releases coming via Frontiers Music Srl.

GREAT WHITE's MARK KENDALL Says Reuniting With JACK RUSSELL Was Never A Consideration: 'For Us To Go Back To That, It Just Feels Dark'Earlier this week, GREAT WHITE announced that it has parted ways with singer Mitch Malloy and has replaced him with Andrew Freeman (LAST IN LINE). Malloy had been in GREAT WHITE for nearly four years, having joined the group in 2018 following the departure of Terry Ilous.
In a new interview with Dr. Music, GREAT WHITE guitarist Mark Kendall stated about the band's latest addition (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "[Andrew] sat in with us, I wanna say maybe eight months ago or so [when Mitch wasn't able to make the show]; we played with FOREIGNER up north [in Modesto, California in October of 2021]. And he blew our minds. [Editor's note: See video below.] So right then we kind of knew we wanted him. But because he was doing something, and we were really busy — [there was] not enough time to rehearse and stuff like that. And we saw this window of opportunity, [and] he was totally into it."
Kendall continued: "There's a lot of different sides to his voice too, so he's not one-dimensional, even though he delivers the LAST IN LINE thing [like] an in-your-face metal screamer. But he can sing a ballad like Satan; I mean, it's killer. So that's what I like. His voice is so well rounded. And the guy, he vibrates at a frequency that you like to be around — he's just this chill dude. There's no nonsense, no ego, no weird trips or anything, so you feel the brotherhood forming straight away. And that's what we like. We're into being a band — all of us, together — go places together, do things together and just enjoy each other. No weird trips. Because we've been through it all. If somebody's a little funny, it's, like, 'Really?' It's almost like if you see cocaine, you go, 'You still have that?' [Laughs] So any kind of weird head trips, we just don't understand it.
"So, yeah, we're just loving it," Kendall added. "We cannot wait for the fans to hear this guy sing some of our big songs. And we're real pumped about making new music, 'cause I have a lot of stuff, Michael [Lardie, guitar/keyboards] has a lot of stuff. We've done things together and just haven't quite put it together. But now we've got this guy that can do anything. Believe me, man, we wanna get something with him on it, 'cause it's gonna be ridiculous."
As for Mitch's departure, Mark said: "We were going in separate ways in the sense that he was always by himself; he didn't really talk to us much. He just kind of showed up… That's just not the way a band works, as far as we're concerned. He's a wonderful singer. I don't think he's used to him not being in full control of everything because he's been a solo artist for so many years. He's a sweet guy. I really liked him. I think a few of our songs are a little out of his range, so it's a little bit of a struggle. But nothing real heavy — no big, huge fights. Nothing ever came to fisticuffs, if you will. [Laughs] So it wasn't a case of that.
"We canceled a gig — or we were going to have to cancel a gig for him to do a VAN HALEN show, a tribute show," Kendall explained. "He gave us warning about this. But when FOREIGNER canceled [our show with them] because of some COVID thing, we rescheduled the date and it fell right on when he was gonna do that VAN HALEN show that he warned us about. So, regardless, it was probably pretty tough for him to get out of it. But it ended up being a blessing for us because we got Andrew to fill in. When we heard him do that show… And the whole band FOREIGNER was on the side of the stage going, 'Oh my God, man. This is pretty good.' So that was nice of them to acknowledge we had a good show. So that's when the seed of the idea was, like, 'Man. God.'"
Kendall went on to say that he doesn't think Malloy is upset about being out of GREAT WHITE. "He likes his solo career," Mark said. "I saw his post [about his exit from GREAT WHITE] where he said, 'Get ready for my VAN HALEN experience. And I'm gonna be doing an acoustic show, a storytellers show,' and all this stuff. So I'm encouraging people to go check him out when he gets in your area and wishing him to do well."
Asked if he and his bandmates had given any thought at all to the idea of reuniting with original GREAT WHITE singer Jack Russell, Mark said: "That's the other thing. [People say,] 'Why don't you patch things up with Jack?' What people don't understand is we never even got in fights [with Jack]. In 25 years together, we might have gotten in two arguments. The thing that took him out is the horrible demons of addiction, and it's really affected his health. I just saw a video the other day where he's not even standing — he's using wheelchairs and he's sitting in a stool. So for us to go back to that, it just feels dark. I'd rather remember him… 'Cause I'm very proud of our career — I'm very proud of the past. I'm so lucky to be a part of it. And I wanna remember it like that, where he's flying around on stage and getting the crowds pumped and singing his heart out — not a sick person. So going to that…
"My goal has always been to deliver the best show we can possibly deliver and have the fans be beyond impressed," Kendall explained. "And the way Andrew sings, I really like the way he delivers the songs, because it's what you wanna hear. So that's important to me, just to have the songs — the big songs, especially — be sung right and with full power. It just makes everything — it makes us play better, believe it or not. So that's the whole thing with me."
GREAT WHITE's current lineup is rounded out by Audie Desbrow (drums) and Scott Snyder (bass).
Ilous, frontman of '80s L.A. hard rockers XYZ, joined GREAT WHITE in 2010 after stepping in for touring vocalist Jani Lane (WARRANT).
The Ilous-led GREAT WHITE released two albums, 2012's "Elation" and 2017's "Full Circle", before Terry was dismissed from the group.
This version of GREAT WHITE is not to be confused with JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE, which features Russell alongside Robby Lochner (FIGHT) on guitar, Dan McNay on bass, Tony Montana on guitar and Dicki Fliszar on drums.
