Jack Russell says that he is putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to the GREAT WHITE album "Great Zeppelin: A Tribute To Led Zeppelin".

Released in 1998, "Great Zeppelin: A Tribute To Led Zeppelin" was a covers album dedicated to songs of LED ZEPPELIN. It was recorded live in December 1996 at the Galaxy theatre of Santa Ana, California and was made available through the French label Axe Killer.

Speaking to Rockin' Metal Revival about his plans for the upcoming collection of ZEPPELIN covers, Jack said (hear audio below): "We're just in the process of mixing it and doing all the little tweaks to make it sound as good as it can. It's great, because it's different songs, and some of them are heavy ones and more keyboard-laden… 'Houses Of The Holy', 'Trampled Under Foot' — songs like that. 'Kashmir' — that came out brilliant, [it] came out amazing. So I'm really proud of that and I wanna get that out as soon as possible. I just don't wanna inundate the public with JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE. 'They've got another album coming out? They just came out with one last week. Jeez, these guys don't stop.' So we wanna time it right and we wanna make it to where, like I said, we're not overinundating the people. But, yeah, it's a beautiful record. It came out really good — beyond my expectations."

Jack also reflected on GREAT WHITE's decision to perform a stripped down version of ZEPPELIN's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" during a 1990 appearance on "MTV Unplugged". Asked if he knew he and his bandmates were going to get the response they got from that performance, Russell said: "No, I did not. You know what was really weird? When they put it in regular rotation on MTV, and the weirdest thing was when they did a LED ZEPPELIN special and they put our version in the LED ZEPPELIN special. And I was blown away. I'm, like, 'There's no way they just did that.' I had goosebumps for days, thinking, 'This is incredible.' Robert Plant, I saw him a couple of different times commenting, 'Oh, that Jack Russell guy, he sounds more like me than I do.' Another one he said was, 'He sounds more like me on a good night.' And I heard this from people that I really respect and know and wouldn't make that stuff up. So it was great."

Russell was fired from GREAT WHITE in December 2011 (after being on hiatus from the group since 2009). He sued his onetime bandmates the following year over their continued use of the GREAT WHITE name after Jack had taken a leave of absence from the band for medical reasons. A short time later, Russell was countersued by Mark Kendall, Michael Lardie and Audie Desbrow, claiming the vocalist's self-destructive behavior was damaging the GREAT WHITE name (they also alleged he was charging promoters less for his own touring version of GREAT WHITE). The parties settled in July 2013 without going to trial, with Russell now performing as JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE while the others are continuing as GREAT WHITE.

In addition to Jack, JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE features former GREAT WHITE bassist-turned-guitarist Tony Montana (as a guitar player and keyboardist), Dan McNay (MONTROSE) on bass, Robby Lochner (FIGHT) on guitar and Dicki Fliszar (BRUCE DICKINSON) on drums.

JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE's debut album, "He Saw it Comin'", was released in January 2017 and featured the singles "Blame It On The Night", "Sign Of The Times" and "Love Don't Live Here".

PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix spoke to Singapore's LAMC Productions about how he and his bandmates have been spending their coronavirus downtime. He said (see video below): "As we've been, I guess, quarantined in our homes for a while, we've been doing a lot of songwriting. And we have probably about 10 songs written at this point, and we are going to write some more music as we're home. And we're gonna drop an album probably early next year. And that's really exciting for us. We just signed a new record deal, which is very exciting for us as well."

PAPA ROACH's eleventh studio album will be the follow-up to "Who Do You Trust?", which was released in January 2019. That disc was produced by Nick "RAS" Furlong and Colin Cunningham except for the song "Top Of The World", which is helmed by Jason Evigan.

In a new interview with Beverly Hills Magazine, POISON frontman discussed the recent release of his personal scrapbook memoir, titled "Auto-Scrap-Ography". The book is an amalgamation of Michaels's timestamped photographs, inspirational musings, landmark memories, and deep thoughts, penned by the singer himself.

Speaking about some of his biggest life regrets, Michaels said: "One regret is that I couldn't be there for some of the events my children had at school. I've been to everything I could physically get to, but if it's when you have to play a show and it's also the night my kids are doing a recital, those are the things that I regret. I've never missed a birthday or a Christmas, but some of the other things you do miss. Another regret is a huge fist fight I had with C.C. [DeVille], my guitar player, and he's one of my best friends. It was a lot of time on the road, a lot of heated discussions about what songs we wanted in the set, and little things that fester and turned into a knockdown, drag out, nose breaking, teeth missing fist fight. We are like brothers, and I regret the physical end of it. It didn't need to go there, and it's one of my biggest regrets, especially because it happened twice in the same week, once in New Orleans and once backstage at the MTV Awards."

Michaels rose to fame in the 1980s as the singer of POISON, which still tours periodically. He later became a reality TV personality in such shows as dating contest "Rock Of Love" and on "The Celebrity Apprentice". Most recently, Michaels was one of the contestants on Fox's smash hit "The Masked Singer".

Earlier in the month, POISON, MÖTLEY CRÜE, DEF LEPPARD and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS announced that "The Stadium Tour" has been postponed until the summer 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"The Stadium Tour" was scheduled to kick off on June 18 at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida and run through September 5 in Los Angeles. The bands reportedly also booked time at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville to rehearse for the tour.

Fire From The Gods’ AJ Channer could not sit on the sidelines for one more day. When the world erupted in protest of the killing of George Floyd, he set out right away for Minneapolis. THE PRETTY RECKLESS performed a quarantine acoustic version of "Death By Rock And Roll", the title track of the band's forthcoming album, during a June 18 iHeartRadio Facebook Live session. You can now watch it below. The LP will be released via Fearless Records in the U.S. and Century Media Records in the rest of the world.

"In a lot of ways, this new album feels like a rebirth and our first single, 'Death by Rock And Roll', represents that salvation that my favorite music brings me," said vocalist Taylor Momsen. "Rock is freedom and this song is about living life the way you want, and now that belongs to everyone who listens."

Momsen recently confirmed in an interview that RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist Tom Morello guests on "Death By Rock And Roll". Morello appears on a track called "And So It Went".

Morello joins previously announced guests Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron from SOUNDGARDEN. The song with Cameron and Thayil, called "Only Love Can Save Me Now", was recorded at Seattle's legendary London Bridge Studios, where seminal LPs like PEARL JAM's "Ten" and SOUNDGARDEN's "Louder Than Love" were laid down.

"Death By Rock And Roll", the fourth studio album from THE PRETTY RECKLESS, will arrive in late 2020 or early 2021.

According to Momsen, "Death By Rock And Roll" "almost feels like the first record in the sense that we really threw everything that we had at it — we worked so hard on it," she said. "And I'm just excited for it to be out and have people come on this journey with me and see where it took us. I think it took us, in my opinion, to a new level. It's a new and improved PRETTY RECKLESS."

Since forming in 2009, THE PRETTY RECKLESS has quietly made history. The group's 2010 debut, "Light Me Up", ignited this rise. It was 2014's "Going To Hell", however, that set the whole genre ablaze. It debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200, spawning three No. 1 hits — the gold-certified "Heaven Knows" (the biggest rock song of 2014), "Fucked Up World" and "Follow Me Down" — a feat that had not been accomplished by a female-fronted group since THE PRETENDERS in 1984. MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee spoke to Australia's Studio 10 about his decision to cover Prince's "When You Were Mine" on his upcoming third solo album, "Andro". He said (see video below): "I, forever, have been a Prince fan; I've had the opportunity to meet him. I've been a fan of his forever, and this was a really cool opportunity, with my buddy Lukas Rossi [formerly of ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA] to redo a Prince song. But I took a really kind of a happy, boppy — I mean, the tempo of 'When You Were Mine' is really fast, really uptempo. We slowed it down and made it super dark and sexy, and it is a monster. I can't wait for you guys to hear that one."

"Andro" will be released on October 16. The LP includes Tommy's two recently released singles, "Tops", featuring female South African rapper Push Push, and "Knock Me Down", featuring the up-and-coming rapper Killvein.

Lee's new set of tracks seem to truly represent the music that's he was meant to make — and that definitively reveals the depth and range of his musical fascinations. They also represent the male and female sides of music — equally important and equally powerful, thus the name of the album, "Andro". Androgyny is a combination of the essences of male and female genders and the album is the manifestation of the concept.

Regarding the album title, Lee told Studio 10: "Half of the body of work that I created had all this male energy, and the other half had this female energy. And when trying to sequence the record to listen the best, it wasn't quite working, having them kind of play randomly the way I kind of thought it would be cool. I separated the two and put the female energy on one side of the album and the male energy on the other side of the album and let them sort of play separately but yet together. And that's kind of how it went down, and that's why the record's called 'Andro', short for androgyny."

Lee has had a mega-popular Netflix film ("The Dirt"), starred in and produced three network TV shows ("Tommy Lee Goes To College", "Rockstar: Supernova", "Battleground Earth: Ludacris Vs Tommy Lee"), had a New York Times bestseller ("Tommyland") and has appeared on scripted and interview TV shows — most recently, a hilarious appearance as a professor on ABC's "The Goldbergs".

Lee's METHODS OF MAYHEM rap-rock side project released its self-titled debut album in 1999 and was certified gold in the U.S. A follow-up effort, "A Public Disservice Announcement", came out 11 years later.

Lee also collaborated with METHODS OF MAYHEM's DJ Aero on the "#MSND" EP, which was released in 2013.

Fretless / harp guitarist Tim Donahue - who released the self-titled Madmen & Sinners album with Dream Theater's James LaBrie in 2004 - has posted a new fretless guitar playthrough of his 1996 instrumental track "Riff Raff". It is taken from his solo album Voices In The Wind, which featured bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers.

Donahue spoke exclusively with BraveWords about his activity over the last month, which has seen him revisiting music in his catalogue and remastering it to post on Facebook.

Donahue: "Since live performances are no longer possible, I've been keeping a pace with remastering older material, and material that has never been released. So much material... I wonder how I ever had the time to make so much music. So with the COVID crisis, I have the time to go back to hundreds of works and enjoy them while making simple vids to go along with each post on FB."

Donahue previously posted a remastered version of the track "Skyrocket" featuring vocalist Kelly Hansen (Foreigner, Hurricane), taken from his 2000 album, Into The Light.

Hellenic black metal masters Varathron will release their 30th anniversary live album titled Glorification Under The Latin Moon on September 25 via Agonia Records.

Recorded in its entirety on August 4, 2019 in São Paulo (Brazil) during the final show of Varathron's 30 Years Of Darkness Tour, the historic setlist boasts some of the band's finest compositions, from 1988 and beyond, most notably including the entirety of classic His Majesty At The Swamp from 1993, to most recent songs, taken from the acclaimed Patriarchs Of Evil album, which made it to an awful lot of year-end lists in 2018.  

Varathron had this to say about its first live album since its 1988 inception: "During these weird and uncertain days we wish to all our friends, brothers, and sisters health and better days to come. In recent years we had the chance to meet wonderful people! We are happy to share with you some important news especially dedicated to you, our supporters and friends: we present to you our new - first time ever - live album! Glorification Under The Latin Moon was recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the last show of our 2019 adventure in South America. The album includes a historic setlist with songs since 1988, our latest opus Patriarchs Of Evil and His Majesty At The Swamp in its entirety. The show was organized by our tour manager and friend Robson Calura and Storm Productions. Lots of thanks to every photographer, engineer and organizer who helped us create something truly special!”

Night Laser has released their first video single, “Street King” feat. Gerre (Tankard) from the new album Power To Power.

Dealing With Demons I showcases the supreme form of the band - Dez, guitarists Mike Spreitzer and Neal Tiemann, drummer Austin D’Amond and bassist Diego Ibarra. This isn’t just some of the most vicious DevilDriver material to date, but some of their most lethally memorable too. Co-produced by Steve Evetts and guitarist Mike Spreitzer, it’s a triumph for teamwork and tenacity.

Dez Fafara says about the band’s writing and recording process: “I said to the guys, ‘if we just met today, what kind of music would we make? How would we stand the test of time, stand apart from others and stand above the competition? Let’s not focus on the past sound. Instead let’s kick into the future together.’”

With new milestones like Dez Fafara’s eerie verses on “Wishing” and the frontman’s first co-authored lyric (“Nest Of Vipers” was written by Dez and Neal Tiemann), Dealing With Demons I ferociously delivers the goods while kicking open several new doors for DevilDriver to power through in the future. It’s a vital and violent clearing of the emotional decks, but it’s also powerful evidence that Dez and his band mates have given DevilDriver a volatile, visceral kick in the ass. Demons are getting dealt with in the harshest of manners.

Dez Fafara adds: “It’s time to lay it all out, on two records. I’m never gonna revisit these subjects again. I’ve been writing about this sort of human nature, disloyalty and dishonesty, love and loss, since the beginning of my career. I am going in a more lyrically woke direction in the future. A lot of people say my music gives them strength. But what they don’t realize is that these topics haunt me. Over the course of these last few years we fled from wildfires, my wife battled cancer and now we are going through a pandemic… so it is what it is… let’s dump it all on the table and purge. I want to go through different topics in the future, so here we are now. I’ve laid it all out on a double record for all of you to hear.”

This is just the beginning - fans should be prepared for the onslaught of what is to come with the impending second volume of the double album, which promises to go even harder. This is a two-part acceleration into the future - after witnessing Dealing With Demons I, listeners will be clamouring for the second half!

Dez adds about the upcoming remainder of the Dealing With Demons saga: “Volume two will get into some very heavy topics as well. You’ll see the band progress even further musically as we finish this ode to the purge of all things Demonic.”

The Scorpions' epic live album World Wide Live celebrates its 35th anniversary today. Released on June 20, 1985, it was recorded during the Love At First Sting tour and features hits such as "Blackout", "Still Loving You" and "Rock You Like A Hurricane".

World Wide Live peaked at #4 in the German and Austrian charts. It's since been certified Platinum in Canada and The United States, as well as Gold in Germany and France.

To mark this momentous occasion, Scorpions has released a two-part mini-documentary, The Story Of World Wide Live.

Reaper Entertainment announces the signing of southern German death metal brigade, Necrotted.

Necrotted convinces with a brutal mixture: Sweeping guitar riffs and dashing blast beats come upon stomping slam parts and catchy refrains, which are presented by deep, guttural vocals. Over the years, the five guys have become a hard-hitting brand for massively heavy and ferocious death metal. Now, the band signed a world wide record deal with the up-and-coming label, Reaper Entertainment Europe.

The band states: "We’re very happy with our new partner Reaper Entertainment Europe. The focus on quality and its international network convinced us to cooperate with the young and ambitious label. We’re looking forward to a good collaboration!"

Flori Milz (Reaper Entertainment) states: "I know the guys from Necrotted for a long time, because we come from the same area in southern Germany. I am very happy that we will work together in the future and release great death metal albums. Stay tuned!"

Zakk Wylde, Nuno Bettencourt, Rudy Sarzo and Eddie Trunk recently guested on the livestream, Oh Say Can You Stream, hosted by Thom Hazaert and David Ellefson along with rock photographer Mark "Weissguy" Weiss celebrating the release of his book, The Decade That Rocked. During the stream, Bettencourt reflected on sending in an audition tape to Ozzy Osbourne at the age of 15, and later turning down a spot in Ozzy's band aaafter Zakk Wylde stepped down.

Bettencourt: "I remember reading Circus or maybe Hit Parader and there was an ad, a little ad that said, 'Ozzy looking for a guitarist,' and 'Send your demo here.' Learn a couple of tracks and send them. I just quit high school, I don't know how fucking old I was, and I'm like, 'This is my gig! I'm getting this gig!' You know, you believe it at 15 years old. So I literally borrowed an Eventide Harmonizer from one of my producer friends to get that Randy (Rhoads) sound. I put it in my bedroom, locked the door so nobody would come in, and thought I was nailing 'Crazy Train.' I was like, 'I'm gonna send this bad boy with a letter, put it in the mail, and I'm just gonna wait 'cause this gig is mine!' (laughs). And I wanted, and I waited... 'What do you mean it didn't come in?! That's impossible!'

That was in '82. Now, cut to 1994 and, on tour, in London, opening for Aerosmith, and Rod MacSween (agent) comes over. He comes to the gig, pulls me over to the van, really seriously, and 'Hey, I need to talk to you...' And this is when Zakk, I believe, had split. He says, 'I just got a call from Sharon (Osbourne) on the way here. She said, 'Talk to Nuno; if he wants, there will be a jet somewhere at London Heathrow. If he leaves right now, he can go straight on tour. No audition.' And he's telling me all this, I haven't said a word, he's going on, he's giving me all the details... and you know how when somebody talks in movies and their voice disappears and it's just silence? When he finally finished, all the sound came back, and all I could muster when I looked at him was, 'They heard the cassette? They finally heard the cassette?!' And he's like, 'What cassette...?' 'Never mind, never mind!' This was torturing me for 12 years. 

And what did I say? 'No, I can't do it. I'm in my band' and whatever. Which was a stupid mistake because then my band broke up three weeks later."

Foundation Of Bones is the new EP from death metal practitioners Enterprise Earth. Released today via Entertainment One (eOne), the EP serves as a surprise bridge piece from their latest full-length effort, Luciferous, into the work being laid down for their forthcoming LP and also marks the band's first self-produced output.

"Foundation Of Bones was a spur of the moment idea that quickly came to fruition," elaborates Enterprise Earth guitarist Gabriel Mangold. "After returning home from our canceled tour, we began writing and finishing up new material. While listening back to some new demos and being stoked on the quality of the mixes, we thought, 'Fuck it. Let's give self-production a go and release an impromptu EP!' Dan [Watson] tracked vocals at home in Indianapolis. Brandon [Zackey] recorded drums with our good friend/sound engineer, Chris Ghazel, in Los Angeles. I did guitars, bass, production, and handled mixing/mastering duties in my tiny home trailer studio rig in Taos, New Mexico. After several days of tweaking, we had a mix that we were all very stoked on and felt comfortable moving forward with our first self-produced release. I don't think we intended to accomplish anything specific with this EP other than releasing new music that we were very excited to show the world. However, throughout the process, we realized that we were attaining something vital in addition to releasing new music: the ability to self-produce. The sound we're developing is what we want to sound like, and we've all become that much more connected to our music now that we're at the reigns throughout the entire creative and production processes. We are very excited to continue developing our sound and have decided to self-produce our next LP."

Foundation Of Bones features one new song from the band (the title track), two cover tunes -- Lamb Of God's iconic "Now You've Got Something To Die For" and Necrophagist's "Fermented Offal Discharge" -- an acoustic interpretation of "There Is No Tomorrow" from their Luciferous LP, and an instrumental version of the new track.

Notes Mangold, "The covers were something that we had in mind for some time, and the opportunity to do this EP prompted us to take action. Lamb Of God and Necrophagist are two huge inspirations on us, so covering these tunes was a no-brainer. We experienced a ton of electric energy tracking these as they are songs that we've loved since we were kids; hopefully, we did them justice!

"The acoustic version of 'There Is No Tomorrow' was a cathartic experience," he continues. "It was inspired by bands that have done incredible acoustic renditions of their heavy tunes, namely Alice In Chains, The Contortionist, and I See Stars. Our sonic inspirations and musical expressions go much deeper than just being brutal, and we wanted to express that sentiment and develop another facet of our sound. We love melody, peaks, and valleys within a song, acoustic jams that take you on a journey, and most importantly, we love writing music that resonates strongly within us. 'There Is No Tomorrow' is easily the most melodic and emotional song from Luciferous. If any tune from that record deserved an acoustic rendition, it would be that one. That it's our collective favorite from that record, also made it an easy choice. Expect more of these acoustic renditions in the future."

“In many ways, it is a new beginning and also a tribute to where it all began,” reflects Cro-Mags founder Harley Flanagan on the band’s new album, In The Beginning, out today via Mission Two Entertainment and Arising Empire. This marks the Cro-Mags first official release since the album Revenge (2000). In The Beginning is streaming in full below:

“I'm not afraid to break the so-called rules of hardcore, I never was,” admits Flanagan. “That's why our music stood out and always has. I am so proud of In The Beginning, it was a long time coming but I feel redeemed. It’s a culmination of everything I am as a person, my personal evolution. It is 100% Cro-Mags.”

On the album’s artwork, Flanagan explains, “The front of the album is my old building I used to live in, called ‘C Squat’ where I wrote most of the music for 1986’s Age Of Quarrel album. The rear of the record shows me looking down at the site where the building once stood, essentially, it’s me looking at my past and where everything began.”

Cro-Mags, rounded out with guitarist Gabby Abularach and drummer Garry Sullivan, hit the road last year supporting the reunited Misfits and compiled footage for their first music video in 27 years with “No One’s Victim.”

As the Coronavirus pandemic took hold of the world this year, the legendary NYC outfit took swift action and was one of the first artists to deliver an honest, raw, in-your-face concert set with “The Quarantine Show,” filmed live in NYC on March 15, 2020.

May 18, 2019, Europe's biggest crossover band, Rise Of The Northstar, was back on stage after a 2 year hiatus away from the French capital, armed with its new record The Legacy Of Shi. The band took this opportunity to film and record a few songs from this sold out and memorable show. They have released their first live EP Live In Paris, and to celebrate the occasion, the band has revealed a new live video for their track “Samurai Spirit”.

The EP also includes the bonus studio track "Sayonara," recorded in 2017 at Silver Cord Studio (NYC) with Joe Duplantier. This mammoth of a song, with its Japanese chorus, was not available digitally before and was featured on the Japanese edition of The Legacy Of Shi as well as the vinyl version of the album. In these particularly tough times for the music industry, Rise Of The Northstar brings its own answer to not being able to perform live: "If you can’t come to our show, we’ll bring the show to you".

Revered metalcore trailblazers Misery Signals are mounting a major resurgence in 2020 with the release of their highly-anticipated, self-released 4th studio album, Ultraviolet, on August 7th. Ultraviolet marks the return of all founding members Ryan Morgan (guitar), Branden Morgan (drums), Jesse Zaraska (vocals), Stu Ross (guitar) and Kyle Johnson (bass). The band spent the last few years writing and recording one of their finest releases yet and a true return to form, drawing on a resuscitated storm of creativity and camaraderie not witnessed since their debut Of Malice And The Magnum Heart.

"Jesse has this really clear voice, and even in his most vicious screaming the vulnerability gets through first,” says Morgan. “People will hear the record and there won't be any need for decoding the emotional content. ‘Sunlifter’ was the first song we wrote for the record and it set the tone thematically for the lyrics on the album, which came to be about ambition and striving and all the parts of ourselves that are in contradiction with each other."

Zaraska comments on the lyrical direction of the album, “It is a record that purveys a much greater sense of hope than those that preceded it, and I think that as older individuals this was important from the onset of the process. I tried to create a Misery Signals record that was lyrically more positive than the previous outings, something that I could get behind as a father. Though there still exists a fair amount of tension and darkness, there shines a great amount more light."

Testament drummer has uploaded a drum playthrough of Nepalese metal band Underside and their track, “Wild”.

Hoglan explains the cover: “In December 2019, Testament had the honor of performing at the Silence Festival in Kathmandu, Nepal. We were hosted by the festival’s organizers Underside and their management, Flower KC.

“In transit to a band dinner the night before the show, it was learned that Underside’s drummer was not able to fly into the show from his native India due to the massive unrest that his home country was currently undergoing.

“I felt the supreme disappointment from the band’s management and immediately sympathized with their plight. After all, Underside are the Silence Festival’s promoters, who rightfully utilize their position as such to promote themselves by playing on the Silence Fest’s stage, and now that action was in absolute peril. Without ever hearing the band, yet heartened by my newfound friendship with them and their management, I casually mentioned that I would be happy to play their set for them. This seemed to bring a little hope to them at a seriously dark moment.

“Little did I know what an incredible band Underside is. And that no matter what, not knowing their material, no rehearsals, very little sleep, I was going to try to do as much justice to their songs at the show as I could. And it is in that spirit that I started this little project of tracking a series of songs we performed that day.”

"Okay, so, a few years ago, myself and the DTP band had the privilege of playing a show with friends Opeth and Gojira at their show at the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in Colorado. Both of those bands professionally filmed and recorded their shows and have released DVDs of it. I did not record this show, but have been asked by people if I could find a song from it.

Fortunately, a few people on YouTube posted footage (thanks to MRYNCRISPY, TwilightCalzone - who we could reach for approval - and also I used a bit from videos by Melanion and Trapper, whom we wrote but couldn't reach, but hopefully its cool) as well as our good buddy Neil Lim Sang for his great still photos here as well. This is truly a very lo-fi live video, but it at least gets the point across. It was a fun show and it was nice to be invited to play.

Canadian rockers have released a new single, "Find What You're Looking For", which is now available on all digital platforms. Check it out below.

Mike Krompass (Mike K) is a multi-Platinum music producer, songwriter, mixer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist and programmer. He recently signed Platinum-selling Canadian rockers Honeymoon Suite to his new label, 1225 Label Group, and is currently working with the band on a new album. Release details are not available as yet, but stay tuned for updates.

In late 2019, Honeymoon Suite released a new single entitled "Tell Me What You Want". Check out the official video for the song below.

German bashers Primal Fear have released their first album trailer discussing the songwriting for Metal Commando. Check it out below.

Primal Fear will release their 13th studio album, Metal Commando, on July 24. The second single, "I Am Alive",  will be released on June 19.

"'I Am Alive' is the opening track of the new album and a statement in these rough times. Between the speed of the double bass drumming plus grooves and fat guitar riffs, is one of the best Primal Fear hooks ever. We are currently filming a video clip for the song that will be released along-side the single. You can look forward to a real banger of a song that is representative of our new album - Metal Commando", comments bassist and producer Mat Sinner.

Neal Schon says that "five new songs" are "in the making" for the next JOURNEY studio album.

JOURNEY's most recent LP, "Eclipse", was released in May 2011. The Walmart exclusive debuted on the Billboard 200 album chart at No. 13 — eight spots lower than the band's previous album, 2008's "Revelation" — which also went on to hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart.

Schon discussed JOURNEY's plans for new music during an appearance on Thursday's (June 18) episode of SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation". Speaking about how he has been spending his coronavirus downtime, the guitarist said: "It's been a crazy year, and many, many changes to come. And [I'm] just staying busy. The best thing I can do is stay busy, stay healthy and write music. And so I've been taking advantage of this time off. We had already taken a year off from touring. We were expecting to tour this year and it didn't happen. And so [I'm] writing music, coordinating a lot with Jon Cain [keyboards] and Narada Michael Walden [drums] and Randy Jackson [bass] and Arnel [Pineda, vocals]. And we are off and running, man. We have, like, five new songs in the making right now, and hopefully a single coming out in July sometime."

According to Neal, he and his bandmates "have not yet been able" to get together in person to work on new music. "Arnel has been in the Philippines, and there's a whole bunch of hoops that you have to jump through for him to get over here, with quarantine and everything else," he explained. "I've been working in the studio here, 'cause Narada lives close by, and I'm working at his studio and I'm laying down tracks with live drums and guitar, much like I've done with many, many records. And so it's a comfortable situation for me. I like playing with guitar and drums, and it's a great way to create, especially rock. And I've created many records like that, going back to Jan Hammer. So we're in a good flow right now. And Randy is recording his parts in L.A., Jonathan is recording his parts in Florida, Arnel is recording his parts in the Philippines. And it's a virtual record right now. But I am looking forward to getting together in the same room… In the meantime, I feel like we should just continue doing what we're doing and creating new music. I feel by the time that we actually get out, we could possibly have two new records done."

Asked when fans should expect a new JOURNEY single to arrive, Schon said: "The first song that we recorded, Arnel had just finished vocals on it, I believe, yesterday. And so now we're gonna get it into the mixing stages. Hopefully, I think sometime in July — sooner or later in July."

Neal also talked about JOURNEY's recent lineup changes, with bassist Ross Valory and drummer Steve Smith having been replaced by Jackson and Walden, respectively. In early March, Schon and Cain filed a lawsuit against Valory and Smith, who have been members of JOURNEY on and off since the band formed in 1973, claiming the two attempted a "coup" in order to gain control of the JOURNEY trademark.

"There's not a lot that I can actually share openly right now, as we are in legal right now," Schon said. "But I do feel very confident about my position and position that we're taking, having not agreed with a lot of the changes that they were trying to make come down.

"JOURNEY is a name… The name in itself says it all," he continued. "It means movement. And we've had many, many lineup changes throughout the years and survived that. And so I feel very confident in where we're going and what we're gonna do. And I'm very excited about the new music. That's more what I'd like to talk about, because we haven't gotten there yet. There's nothing really I can say legally that will do anybody good, especially us right now, before we actually get there."

Asked about his desire to keep producing new music when most of his classic rock peers are content to just hit the road and perform their greatest hits, Schon said: "It's something that's in my DNA. I need to know that I'm moving forward and not just being stagnant and resting on the laurels that we have already. Of course we're gonna go out, we're gonna play greatest hits, but there's many, many ways to scoop up and make the show better. And also, I think if you're gonna create new music, it's gotta be different. Look at THE BEATLES — they didn't recreate the same song over and over and over. And that is where my head is at — I don't wanna recreate a song, or that's in the same vein as a song that we already have, that we're already gonna be playing; I wanna create what we don't have, that I feel that we can use in our set to completely become that much stronger than we are."

The new JOURNEY lineup performed a socially distanced version of "Don't Stop Believin'" for UNICEF USA's virtual event "UNICEF We Won't Stop", which aired on May 23 on MSNBC.

JOURNEY was supposed to launch a North American tour with THE PRETENDERS in May, but canceled the trek amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
