In the latest episode of AXS TV's "Rock & Roll Firsts", HALESTORM's Lzzy Hale discusses the first song she ever learned on an instrument, the first concert she attended, the first album she purchased and the first gig she ever played. Check it out below.

"Halestorm Reimagined", a collection of reworked HALESTORM original songs as well as a cover of "I Will Always Love You", the love ballad made famous by Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton, was made available on August 14.

Lzzy said in a recent interview with SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk" that she is using the downtime during the COVID-19 lockdown to keep working on material for HALESTORM's fifth studio LP.

HALESTORM has been writing and demoing material since January, with Hale saying she can record almost everything except drums in her home studio.

The next HALESTORM album will follow up 2018's "Vicious".

IMPERISHABLE, the new South Carolina-based extreme metal band created by NILE guitarist Brian Kingsland, will release a new EP, "Revelation In Purity", in the coming months. Before presenting the final cut, the band is teasing fans with a snippet of its upcoming debut single, "Exclusion Continuum". The track will be dark, aggressive, and catch the overall feel of the forthcoming EP, which summons riffs molded around power rather than flash. No overthinking, just pure unadulterated metal.

Kingsland says: "From a compositional standpoint, IMPERISHABLE's mission is to deliver material that is dark and aggressive, yet, memorable. In my opinion, we achieved that objective with 'Exclusion Continuum'."

Rounded out by Alex Rush (bass) and Tommy Harrison (drums), the trio is determined to deliver ferocious material while retaining memorable hooks. Grinding yet groovy, this mindset allows the group to focus on what inspires them: headbanging compositions.

"Exclusion Continuum" will be released in the coming weeks and made available on Bandcamp, Spotify and Apple Music.

Tony Martin's pre-BLACK SABBATH band THE ALLIANCE will reunite after more than three decades to record some of its early, mostly previously unreleased material.

Martin recently shared a photo of the reunited band on Facebook and he wrote in an accompanying message: "Its really exciting to be doing this .. We have discovered potentially 35 songs, which could mean 3 albums worth of material, mostly previously un released. Rock on!!"

Based in Birmingham, England, THE ALLIANCE got a break in 1985 when it was invited to record three songs for Tommy Vance's BBC radio program "Friday Rock Show". A short time later, THE ALLIANCE signed a deal with Warner Bros. and few more songs were recorded in demo form before the group disbanded without ever making an album.

Some of THE ALLIANCE songs eventually ended up on a 1993 album from the band's onetime guitarist Misha Calvin, titled "Evolution". "Evolution" was re-released in 2001 (Panoramic Music) and 2004 (Majestic Rock), including six bonus tracks, listed in the credits as the "Evolution Studio Sessions" archive tapes featuring Martin on vocals.

As previously reported, Martin has set "Thorns" as the title of his long-awaited new solo album, due in the coming months via Battlegod Productions and Dark Star Records.

Among the guest musicians set to appear on the LP are Scott McClellan (who helped write the album), Danny "Danté" Needham (VENOM), Magnus Rosén (HAMMERFALL), Greg Smith (ALICE COOPER, RAINBOW, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT) and Martin's youngest son Joe.

BLACK SABBATH released six albums with Martin on vocals: "The Eternal Idol" (1987), "Headless Cross" (1989), "Tyr" (1990), "Cross Purposes" (1994), "Cross Purposes Live" (1995) and "Forbidden" (1995). Eventually, Martin and his "Forbidden"-era bandmates were ousted when guitarist Tony Iommi reunited with SABBATH's fellow original members.

Martin's last solo album, "Scream", was released in November 2005 via MTM Music.

Vital, venerated, and vintage, when DIAMOND HEAD first released "Lightning To The Nations" forty years ago in 1980, few could have predicted the importance it would carry — and establish — with regards to heavy metal's new wave and sound. Stacked and packed with riffs, "Lightning To The Nations" would be one of the prime catalysts for a movement known as the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). It would also prove the premier template for a band who would become the biggest rock band on the planet, METALLICA. But back then, in their humble Stourbridge, U.K. home, DIAMOND HEAD had no real idea that the seven songs they had recorded for that debut album would have such a reverberation.

The first single/video to be released, "It's Electric", shows levels of fresh energy and the potency of timeless riffage that will blow the doors and socks off all who hear it. On the song, founding member, lead guitarist/songsmith Brian Tatler comments: "It was written on the 15th of June 1978; it was the forty-fifth song DIAMOND HEAD ever wrote. It was kind of our version of an AC/DC song. I had noticed that AC/DC had gaps in their riffs so I thought I would do one in that vein and out came 'It's Electric'. It was fast and exciting and soon found its way into our live set. We had the pleasure of opening for AC/DC in January 1980 and performed 'It's Electric' in the set. I looked over to my left and noticed we were being watched by Bon Scott!"

"It's Electric" was the first DIAMOND HEAD song that Lars Ulrich ever heard on the 1980 MCA compilation album "Brute Force". "It seemed so right, it seemed so fresh, it seemed so effortless and above all, it seemed so fucking special. Three and a half minutes after the needle hit the record on 'It's Electric' by DIAMOND HEAD, I was hooked."

"METALLICA covered this song on their 1998 album 'Garage, Inc.'," continues Tatler, "Sean and I wrote 'It's Electric' in the key of G but METALLICA transposed it to F# to make it easier to play. I have played it their way ever since. "

"Lightning To The Nations 2020" will be released on November 20 via Silver Lining Music in CD digipak, double gatefold vinyl, and digital formats as well as special D2C bundles.

As the fortieth anniversary loomed, "Lightning To The Nations"' resonance and importance are since long-established, which meant a celebration was in order and Brian Tatler, alongside vocalist and producer Rasmus Bom Andersen, knew exactly what they wanted to do. "We thought it'd be great to re-record the debut album with this lineup and the modern technology available," says Tatler. "The original album was recorded and mixed in a week, and we were very young; still 19-20 years old when it was recorded, so there's a lot of that youthful energy. But we didn't have the technique, time, or craftsmanship to record it with the sort of power that we could now. So that was a real thing to savor: the opportunity to go in the studio and record these songs fresh and vibrant."

"Lightning To The Nations 2020" is an achievement along those lines and then some. It is, quite simply, a scintillating shot of fresh metal energy, with DIAMOND HEAD utilizing all their skill, experience, and revitalized energy to breathe so much new life into these freshly recorded takes that it feels like experiencing the earth shaking all over again.

Recorded over several sessions between various locations from France to band member home studios, "Lightning To The Nations 2020"'s central hub was Andersen's Raw Sound Studios in London. It's where Tatler and Andrew "Abbz" Abberley did the guitars in February and March of this year. With the COVID-19 chaos striking, Andersen worked on the album between April and July, with Tatler's watchful ear inspecting final mixes and tweaks in early August before sending off to mastering at Metropolis Studios. It is, however, fair to say that the crunch, scream, and crackle of the production is yet another feather in Andersen's producer hat.

As if these carefully shaped recordings weren't enough, there are four supreme cover versions rounding out the release, with DIAMOND HEAD spreading their wings and creating the heaviest of homages to LED ZEPPELIN, JUDAS PRIEST, DEEP PURPLE, and... METALLICA. With DIAMOND HEAD having featured so heavily in METALLICA's early career, the cover of "No Remorse" seems especially appropriate.

Concludes Tatler: "'Lightning To The Nations 2020' is packed with ideas and riffs, but there is some thought gone into it all, and maybe that's why it still sounds really good now and we're still having conversations about it."

The 30th-anniversary edition of LOUDNESS's "Soldier Of Fortune" album will be made available in Japan on September 23. The expanded version of the LP will include rough-mix recordings from the "Soldier" sessions, previously unreleased demos, the "You Shook Me" music video, footage of a Japanese TV show performance and video of LOUDNESS's 2015 reunion with singer Michael Vescera at the Loud Park festival in Japan. Billed as SOLDIER OF FORTUNE, the group performed material from Vescera's time in LOUDNESS (see video below).

Vescera joined LOUDNESS in 1988 following the firing of the band's original frontman Minoru Niihara, who remains LOUDNESS's official vocalist after having rejoined the group in 2001. In pursuit of greater commercial success with English-speaking audiences, Vescera and the rest of LOUDNESS recorded two albums, "Soldier Of Fortune" (1989) and "On The Prowl" (1991). However, the pairing did little to improve the band's status in America and also took its toll on LOUDNESS's Japanese fan base. Vescera exited LOUDNESS (and joined Yngwie J. Malmsteen in 1993) during the group's American tour in 1991 and was eventually replaced by EZO vocalist Masaki Yamada.

Vescera rose to metal popularity at the age of 18 years old as the legendary vocalist of the band OBSESSION. A classically trained pianist, Mike chose the path of a metal frontman instead of Julliard.

In recent years, Mike Vescera has gained a reputation in the business as being a masterful producer and engineer working from his studio The Toy Room, which was located in the hills of Connecticut just outside of New York. A number of years ago, the studio moved to Nashville, where Mike now makes his home.

Mike continues to front OBSESSION and ANIMETAL USA, the American counterpart to ANIMETAL, the Japanese heavy metal band which specialized in metal covers of popular Japanese anime/tokusatsu theme songs.

Paul Stanley has blasted people who are defiantly skeptical of mask wearing, saying they are posing a risk to themselves and to all those around them.

On Thursday (September 17), the KISS frontman took to his Twitter to share a CNN article about an Idaho pastor who was hospitalized with COVID-19 after calling himself a "no-masker" during a service and repeatedly questioning the veracity of coronavirus case reporting. Stanley added in a message: "YOU figure this one out. I can't. A hoax and non-existent virus has put this guy in the ICU. If you're so concerned with a loss of your freedom , Why do you stop at red lights? Don't let the government control you!! Drive right through!!! PUT YOUR MASK ON."

This is not the first time Stanley has blasted people who refuse to wear a mask in public spaces to protect others from possible infection. Back in early July, he took to his Twitter to share a photo of him and his eight-year-old daughter Emily wearing masks, and he included the following message: "Sunset at the beach with Emily. WEAR YOUR MASK! Don't listen to conspiracy theorists or graduates of The Internet University Of Medicine. While the credible authorities and experts continue to learn more about Covid 19 they remain in agreement about safety protocols. End of story".

Earlier this summer, the U.S. Surgeon General urged people to wear face coverings, saying they will promote freedom during the coronavirus pandemic.

In a study published in June, researchers from Texas A&M University, the California Institute of Technology and the University of California San Diego, concluded "that wearing of face masks in public corresponds to the most effective means to prevent interhuman transmission."

This past Wednesday, the head of the Centers For Disease Control And Prevention, Dr. Robert Redfield, told a Senate panel that wearing a face mask might offer more protection against the spread of coronavirus than a vaccine.

According to a recent New York Times poll, a majority (59 percent) of Donald Trump voters support requiring masks (only 18 percent are opposed), and 81 percent of Trump voters who support mandatory masking think Trump does as well.

Trump has repeatedly added to the confusion with mixed messages about the importance of face masks and social distancing. He belatedly endorsed face masks to slow the spread of the virus, but has mocked Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden for following the guidelines he recommended.

STILLWELL, the band featuring KORN bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, vocalist/guitarist Anthony "Q-Unique" Quiles and P.O.D. drummer Noah "Wuv" Bernardo, has just released its third album, "Supernatural Miracle". The official lyric video for the disc's first single, "Gasoline", can be seen below.

We're doing this mostly for ourselves and the songs we write are the songs we love to listen at home, hoping they will reach also to other people, as to ourselves."

Lead guitarist / songwriter Voi Cox adds:"We were always influenced by Swedish style and sound when we were kids, that's why it is a big honor to us to have Bjorn from Soilwork on this album, also Fredrik Nordström from Fredman Studio who basically invented that sound. We grew up listening to Soilwork, At The Gates, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames and ofc Death, and that's why we're so excited that Steve is in this project, too. So we are very much influenced by those bands but that doesn't mean that our songs will sound like that and you will hear all that in our debut album."

"Finished!! The recording of the new album Sophia - Eon is now officially complete. What a journey...

Next week I'll be heading to Vancouver to hang out with Dave Padden and deliver the sessions so he can start mixing this thing. We're almost there! Here's an unmixed clip of the last two minutes of the album. I'm tired, and my butt is sore."

Cordell recently posted a clip from the studio featuring some more vocal tracking:

BraveWords spoke with Cordell about ex-Annihilator fromtman Dave Padden's reported involvement on the new album, and he offered the following:

"I'm basically doing everything again. I am having Dave mix it with me; he's mixed one of the songs and it's really banging! It's too early to say if he'll sing on it, but I may have him do a vocal or two. Not sure yet. But mixing, yes!"

Tuesday, October 6 will see the release of the documentary film "Bay Area Godfathers". Issued as part of the popular "Inside Metal" series, "Bay Area Godfathers" was directed by Bob Nalbandian and produced by Warren Croyle, and features in-depth interviews with Bay Area metal icons and pivotal players — musicians, managers, journalists and label execs. "Bay Area Godfathers" is a two-part movie (part two will be released separately) and is the fourth movie in the "Inside Metal" series. The previous titles "Pioneers Of L.A. Hard Rock & Metal", "L.A. Metal Scene Explodes" and "The Rise Of L.A. Thrash Metal" all received rave reviews worldwide.

This past Sunday (September 20), guitar icon Joe Bonamassa truly stole the show. Performing live, in real time, from Ryman Auditorium, Bonamassa played his new studio album "Royal Tea" (recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London) in its entirety, a month before its release on October 23, along with fan favorites from his recent 20th-anniversary album, "A New Day Now", which is his 23rd No. 1 album.

The legendary venue typically seats 2,300, but for one night only, the real crowd was the size of a major stadium, and in-house nearly every seat was filled with a custom cardboard cutout. The event sold over 17,000 tickets, reaching 44 countries, bringing audiences of all cultures and backgrounds together, worldwide for one very special live music presentation. Considering the number of households watching concerts together from home, one ticket could actually account for an entire family, so the true number of viewers would likely skyrocket. Furthermore, there's still time to check out the action — tickets for the livestream are available through the entire rest of the week until September 27.

Between ticket sales and donations during the After Party Showcase, the event raised $32,000 already for Bonamassa's Fueling Musicians program, presented by his non-profit Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation (KTBA). The showcase featured some of the genre's most talented, emerging acts of this generation, with over an hour of non-stop performances from artists, including Ally Venable Band, The Cold Stares, Elles Bailey, Ida Mae, Jared James Nichols, Jontavious Willis, Katy Guillen & The Drive, Robert Jon & The Wreck, Southern Avenue, Tyler Bryant and Vanessa Collier.

Tickets purchased this week will continue to support the cause, benefiting touring musicians unable to make a living due to COVID-19. To date the program has raised over $350,000 in total and has supported more than 190 touring musicians impacted by the pandemic.

Tickets to the pay-per-view concert on demand are available at $35 for the All-Access Pass. The All-Access pass includes on demand admission to the virtual concert until September 27, the "Royal Tea" digital album available on October 23, and a one-year pass to Bonamassa's on-demand video service. Bonamassa's video service includes more than 17 concert releases from Bonamassa, BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION and ROCK CANDY FUNK PARTY — available at anytime on most devices

Following the ticketed event, the concert is in the works to be broadcast on public television and will be available on DVD at a later date.

Legendary rockers VANILLA FUDGE have released a remastered version of their cover of LED ZEPPELIN's "Immigrant Song" via Golden Robot Records. Check it out below.

VANILLA FUDGE will release a new album in 2021, "The Supreme Vanilla Fudge", which will see them rework 10 songs from the legendary THE SUPREMES done in the classic FUDGE way. "The Supreme Vanilla Fudge" will feature all four original members: Mark Stein, Carmine Appice, Vinnie Martel and Tim Bogert (who no longer tours but will appear on a few tracks on the record), along with touring bassist Pete Bremy.

VANILLA FUDGE's Mark Stein said: "'Immigrant Song' by LED ZEPPELIN is one of the monster tracks of all time. How do you top that? Well, you can't, but we decided to just have fun with it. I came up with this 'On Green Dolphin Street' kinda chord progression as the intro on the synth with a heavy-duty brass sound that worked pretty well. The guys fell into it right quick and it rocks the house. Carmine did a great job with the drum track and Tim and Vince killed it. I did the vocals in Florida and sent it back to Carmine in Los Angeles and he mixed it. Hope you dig it."

Mark Alexander-Erber, president and founder of Golden Robot, said: "GRR is honored to have such a classic band on the label. Considering they had the main song 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' in the recent Quentin Tarantino movie 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood', it shows you their legacy will continue for some time yet. VANILLA FUDGE was one of the first American groups to infuse psychedelia into heavy rock sound to create "psychedelic symphonic rock," an eclectic genre which would, among its many offshoots, eventually morph into heavy metal.

Although, at first, the band did not record original material, they were best known for their dramatic heavy, slowed-down arrangements of contemporary pop songs which they developed into works of epic proportion.

Originally, VANILLA FUDGE was a blue-eyed soul cover band called THE PIGEONS, formed in New Jersey in 1965 with organist Mark Stein, bassist Tim Bogert, drummer Joey Brennan and guitarist, vocalist and U.S. Navy veteran Vince Martell. They built a following by gigging extensively up and down the East Coast and earned extra money by providing freelance in-concert backing for hit-record girl groups. In early 1966, the group recorded a set of eight demos that were released several years later as "While the World Was Eating Vanilla Fudge".

The East Coast, in particular New York and New Jersey, created a sound all its own. Inspired by groups such as THE RASCALS and THE VAGRANTS (fronted by guitarist Leslie West of MOUNTAIN fame), THE PIGEONS reworked many of their own existing arrangements of covers to reflect their unique interpretation of this "East Coast Sound."

In late 1966, drummer Joey Brennan moved out to the West Coast. THE PIGEONS immediately drafted drummer and vocalist Carmine Appice, a disciple of the renowned Joe Morello (DAVE BRUBECK BAND) and a seasoned veteran of the club scene. In early 1967, THE PIGEONS manager Phil Basile convinced producer George "Shadow" Morton (producer for THE SHANGRI-LAS and Janis Ian), to catch their live act. Impressed by their heavy-rocking, trippy and psychedelic version of THE SUPREMES' "You Keep Me Hangin' On", Morton offered to record the song as a single. This resulted in a deal with the Atlantic subsidiary Atco, which requested a name change. The band settled on VANILLA FUDGE.

VANILLA FUDGE celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017 and is still rocking the world as hard as ever.

ANTHRAX has created its own hand sanitizer.

The Stop Spreading The Disease hand sanitizer will be made available soon via Global Merchandising Services, which represents the worldwide merchandising rights for the band.

The bottle features a variant of the cover artwork from ANTHRAX's second album, 1985's "Spreading The Disease".

ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante broke the news of the sanitizer's upcoming availability, writing on Instagram: "Stop spreading the disease #handsanitizer coming soon @anthrax #covid_19 #stayhealthy #clean @globalmerchservices"

ANTHRAX is named after a bacterial disease primarily found in livestock that the Centers For Disease Control And Prevention (CDC) has recognized as a potential agent of bioterrorism.

In 2001, a week after the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center, five letters containing powdered anthrax were mailed to media outlets in New York. Three weeks later, another two letters were sent to U.S. senators. The attacks killed five people in total.

Despite the fact that ANTHRAX had been using the name without controversy since 1981, it was being attacked in the media for appearing insensitive. The band issued a press release jokingly suggesting that it would change its name to "BASKET FULL OF PUPPIES."

"Before the tragedy of September 11th the only thing scary about ANTHRAX was our bad hair in the 80's and the 'Fistful Of Metal' album cover," the band said at the time. "Most people associated the name ANTHRAX with the band, not the germ. Now in the wake of those events, our name symbolizes fear, paranoia and death. Suddenly our name is not so cool."

Hoping to help anyone searching the Internet for medical advice about anthrax, ANTHRAX also temporarily changed the band's web site (anthrax.com) to contain information about the spread and treatment of anthrax.

Portuguese metallers MOONSPELL will play a special Halloween live show in the South of Portugal, an ancient town named Beja, on October 31. At the local theatre Pax Julia, originally built in 1928, the band will deliver its annual and own brand of Halloween to the world: An exclusive live concert for 300 guests but that can be witnessed worldwide by the wolfpack, scattered and lying in wait for this to happen since the quarantine left all boats on shore.

On October 31, Saturday, a full moon, with the show starting at 21:30 (PT/UK), 22:30 (Europe), 1:30 p.m. (PDT), 4:30 p.m. (NY/EDT), 5:30 p.m. (MX /CDT), 6:30 a.m. (November 1/GMT+9), 7.30 a.m. (November 1/GMT+10), MOONSPELL will put an amazing show, a dedicated production and the chance for you to watch live and comment.

MOONSPELL recently played its first shows in Portugal since the world went on lockdown (see video below), and has seemingly proven Portugal is in the lead when it comes to organizing shows in these uncertain times.

The band commented: "Under a beautiful Portuguese sky, we returned to our live performances. Congrats to the Wolfpack who, even with a mask and sitting down, took our wolfheart to tragic heights. MOONSPELL recently parted ways with original drummer Miguel "Mike" Gaspar and replaced him with Hugo Ribeiro (no relation to MOONSPELL singer Fernando Ribeiro). The band will enter the studio in October to record its new album with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano (PARADISE LOST, ULVER, GHOST). An early 2021 release via Napalm Records is expected.

MOONSPELL's latest release was the "Lisboa Under The Spell" live DVD/CD, which came out in August 2018 via Napalm Records. The live DVD/Blu-ray/3CD package captured MOONSPELL's performance before 4,000 fans at the sold-out Campo Pequeno arena in their hometown of Lisbon, Portugal on February 4, 2017.

MOONSPELL's fourth album, 1999's "The Butterfly Effect", will be re-released on August 7 via Napalm Records. The reissue will include two new remixes, a completely re-designed cover and layout artwork, as well as an exclusive excerpt from the Butterfly FX chapter of the band's official biography, "Wolves Who Were Men".

MOONSPELL's most recent studio album, "1755", came out in November 2017. The Portuguese-language disc was written about the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, also known as the Great Lisbon earthquake, which occurred in the Kingdom of Portugal. In combination with subsequent fires and a tsunami, the earthquake almost totally destroyed Lisbon and adjoining areas.

Former DIO guitarist Rowan Robertson has praised the Ronnie James Dio hologram, saying that "it's like seeing the DIO songs brought to life in a different way."

The former vocalist in BLACK SABBATH and RAINBOW, who died in 2010 at the age of 67, is now the subject of a touring show in which his three-dimensional representation is backed by members of his band DIO.

Robertson, who was 17 years old when he joined DIO, was asked for his opinion of the Ronnie hologram during an appearance on a recent episode of the "Music Mania" podcast.

He said (see video below): "I really enjoyed it. I saw it at the Wiltern [in Los Angeles]. And I think it's like seeing the DIO songs brought to life in a different way, with wonderful visuals. And you get to enjoy the songs. I mean, what's not to love? It's great."

The Dio hologram was created by a company called Eyellusion and made its debut at the Wacken Open Air festival in August 2016 in front of more than 75,000 fans.

The Dio hologram production uses audio of Ronnie's live performances from throughout his career, with the DIO band playing live, consisting of Craig Goldy on guitar, Simon Wright on drums and Scott Warren on keyboards, along with Bjorn Englen on bass. Also appearing with them are former JUDAS PRIEST singer Tim "Ripper" Owens and LYNCH MOB frontman Oni Logan.

Two other former DIO guitarists have publicly expressed their doubts about the Ronnie James Dio hologram. Last December, Tracy "G" Grijalva, who played for DIO from 1993 through 1999, said that the hologram "looks creepy" and resembles "a puppet." Nine months earlier, Doug Aldrich, who was in DIO between 2002 and 2006, told XS Rock that "Ronnie would probably not" like the hologram. "He would probably be, like, 'This is not what I signed up for.' A hologram? It's not really what he would want to be. I'm just guessing, you know, that it's something that [Ronnie's wife and manager] Wendy [Dio] thought about and she decided that Ronnie would be fine with it. But I knew Ronnie well enough to know that he was very particular and he would prefer for them to let him just die and be in peace."

After the tour's initial seven-date run was completed in December 2017, Ronnie's hologram underwent some changes before the launch of the 2019 leg of the "Dio Returns", which took place in May and June of last year.

The "Dio Returns" 17-song set consists of seven tunes sung by the Dio hologram — the rest feature Owens and Logan separately or together — and encompasses material from Dio's lengthy career, including his earlier days in RAINBOW and BLACK SABBATH.

Robertson played on DIO's "Lock Up The Wolves" album, which came out in 1990. The guitarist stayed with DIO until Ronnie James Dio rejoined BLACK SABBATH in 1991.

Just over two decades since their formation, New York's If Hope Dies have partnered with Sakers Music released their entire catalog on all digital and streaming services, most available for the first time ever. This includes the band’s long out-of-print demos and early self-releases Amongst The Catacombs Of Auburn, NY (1998-2001), their 2002 debut Siege Equipment For Spiritual Decline, 2004’s The Ground Is Rushing Up To Meet Us and 2006’s Life In Ruin.

TESTAMENT guitarist Alex Skolnick, who has been an outspoken critic of America's 45th president on social media, has released an anti-Donald Trump song called "Trump Sucks". The funky track features Skolnick's rap-style rhymes in which he touches upon a number of his familiar grievances regarding the Trump administration, including alleged corruption, nepotism and criminality on a scale never before experienced.

Late last week, Skolnick said it was "more urgent than ever" to vote Trump out of office in November.

The 51-year-old guitarist has made no secret of his political views, frequently tweeting against Trump's policies, including the current administration's handling of the outbreak of of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus first observed in China. In March, the guitarist blasted Trump for not being able to "convey a sense of reassurance during a time of emergency."

TESTAMENT's latest album, "Titans Of Creation", was released in April via Nuclear Blast.

Helion Prime have released a lyric video for the fourth single, "Photo 51", off of their upcoming album Question Everything, due out on October 5 in North America along with Europe via their label Saibot Reigns and October 28 in Japan via Ward Records. Saigon Kick guitarist Jason Bieler recently checked in with an update on his forthcoming solo album, Songs For The Apocalypse:

"Today, I arise draped in my Power Puff Girls 'tracking accomplished' robe and I’m feeling so very thankful that David Ellefson, Devin Townsend, Benji Webbe, Clint Lowery, Butch Walker, Andee Blacksugar, Bumblefoot, Clay Cook, Todd LaTorre, Ricky Sanders, Pat Badger, Edu Cominato, Kyle Sanders, Kevin Scott, Stephen Gibb, Jeff Scott Soto, and Emil Werstler said yes. Granted I had to stand in front of their respective houses with a boombox over my head blaring 'In Your Eyes' by Peter Gabriel… it was awkward but it worked!
