Unleashing their new album Ascend To The Throne earlier this month on July 10th via Head Rattle Productions INC., Vancouver's Saints Of Death are sharing with fans their new lyric video for the track "God Can’t Help You Now". The band wrote the song about governments and religions hiding behind a false sense of security. Waging wars and dividing humanity for power and control of the nation, all in the name of god
For fans of Pantera, DevilDriver, and Arch Enemy, check out Saints Of Death's new lyric video with its double bassist assault:
Saints Of Death's new album Ascend To The Throne is a 7-track ripping and cohesive release, and the second in the Saints Of Death repertoire following the 2015 self-titled EP. With a different lineup than the debut effort, Saints Of Death now boasts a more robust group that is tighter, more aggressive, and more melodic than ever before along with still featuring their signature sound of having two bassists.
The band comments: "This album has been a long time coming, and we look forward to getting it into the ears of our fans, new and old alike. After dealing with lineup issues for a few years, we finally have a solid lineup and are back to kicking ass. The current lineup has been together since 2018 and we have really gelled as friends and as band members. Naturally, with this kind of chemistry going on, it was finally time to record a new album."
"Like the first EP, there is diversity between each song, allowing each of them to stand out as hard-hitting singles. There is also the consistency that allows the songs to come together as a great album. We talk about important topics such as the trials of society, corruption and corporate greed, mental health as well as a few other topics on this album. Saints put a lot of hard work and passion crafting this album and making it what it is and we're excited to share it with the world!"
Tracklisting:
“Call Of The Kings”
“Ascend To The Throne”
“Watching Me Die”
“God Can’t Help You Now”
“Repentance”
“You Can’t Run”
“Soldiers Of Metal”
On September 25, The Ocean will release their 8th full-length, Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic, via Metal Blade Records (CD / digital) and the band's own Pelagic Records (vinyl). Watch a drum playthrough for "Jurassic | Cretaceous" below:
In 2018, The Ocean released Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic - the first half of a sprawling but superbly cohesive paleontology concept album. Now, the group is ready to release the concluding parts of the Phanerozoic journey.
The album can be preordered on MetalBlade.com in the following formats:
- Deluxe edition CD (tri-fold digipak)
- Instrumental CD (Remus spine digipak w/ UV gloss)
- Box set completion bundle (tri-fold vocal version CD digipak, instrumental version CD digipak, 2 posters, pin, and sticker)
* Exclusive bundles with shirts and merch items, plus digital options are also available!
Widely hailed as their finest work to date, Phanerozoic I brimmed with moments of wide-eyed melodic brilliance, alongside the expected warping and weaving of post-metal conventions. "The first part of Phanerozoic really is a 'no-regrets' album, which is quite rare," says guitarist Robin Staps. "Maybe even the first time I can ever say that."
In contrast with the compositional directness of Phanerozoic I, the new album - Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic - is a vastly more progressive and perverse piece of work. "Phanerozoic II is more experimental, more eclectic in musical style and direction, and more varied in terms of tempos, beats, guitar work and the use of electronics," notes Staps. "This was an intentional choice: we wanted Part I to feel rather streamlined and to have a strong cohesion between the individual songs. We wanted to create a certain vibe to linger from the first until the last note throughout the whole record. We kept the weirder, more daring and more progressive material for Part II."
Tracked in Iceland, Spain and Germany and produced by esteemed studio guru Jens Bogren, Phanerozoic II is underpinned by some of the most imaginative and challenging music that The Ocean - completed by drummer Paul Seidel, keyboard maestro Peter Voigtmann, bassist Mattias Hagerstrand and guitarist David Ramis Åhfeldt - have made yet. Divided into two sections - Mesozoic and Cenozoic - the album once again showcases the detail and depth that have become two of The Ocean's most enduring trademarks. While ostensibly delving into the extraordinary realities of the Earth's shifting temporal tides, Staps and his comrades have long drawn hazy parallels between their chosen subjects and the emotional experiences that their music strives to convey. Phanerozoic II is essentially an album about time, with some very poignant and pointed allusions to the modern world woven into the new music's spiritual fabric.
Staps explains, "The outcome is a record that is a real journey. It starts in one place, and concludes in a totally different place. In a way, it relates to 2013's Pelagial, which was similar in that it was also a journey: but a more guided, focused and predictable one. Phanerozoic II on the other hand is closer to the experience of free fall."

Stockholm-based heavyweights, Mass Worship, have used the break not only to work on new songs, but also to go back to their self-titled debut album that was released in the winter of 2019. Søren (guitar), Gustav (guitar) and Dadde (bass) sat down in their homes to film their individual parts for “Serene Remains" (Guitar & Bass Playthrough). Watch below.
The band comments: "While eagerly waiting to get out on the road again, we decided to make this playthrough for ‘Serene Remains’. Tune down to #A standard and get riffing!”
The band previously released a lyric video for “Sibylline Divination”, also taken from their self-titled debut album.

Austin, Texas heavy riff masters, The Sword, have released footage from their first live performance together since the band went on hiatus in 2018. The first track, taken from their virtual, lockdown jam session shows the band putting their own awesome, riff-heavy spin on the classic T-Rex classic, "Children Of The Revolution", which can be seen below.
The Sword's triumphant live return from hiatus was scheduled to be with Primus this summer as part of their mammoth A Tribute To Kings US trek. But the pandemic had other plans. Not wishing to deprive fans of the live performances they've been waiting so long to see, The Sword got creative and so was birthed the Conquest Of Quarantine lockdown session.
Explains bassist Bryan Richie, “It was a lot of fun getting together with Kyle and Jimmy to record these tracks, and thanks to the miracles of modern technology we were able to lay down a wicked session with JD all the way from North Carolina. Crank this from the comforts of your couch, Conquest of Quarantine brought to you with minimal overdubs and maximum rocking.”
Today's release of “Children Of The Revolution” will be followed by two further clips, each released a week apart.
Norwegian high-octane metallers, Fight The Fight, have released a new music video for "Dying" - the third single off their sophomore album Deliverance, to be released on September 18 via Blacklight Media Records (North America) and Indie Recordings (worldwide excluding North America).
Punchy beats and catchy alternative metal reigns on Fight The Fight's "Dying". Reminiscent of Mudvayne and Sevendust, the verse creates a very hypnotizing feeling, due to Lars Vegas' voice and its great vibrato. The Northlane-esque grooves also make this song enormously bouncy.
"Dying" is the perfect alternative metal song for the festival season - but even if there are no festivals happening this summer, the band will be able to bring you some festival vibes through your speakers! Watch the clip for "Dying" below.
Fight The Fight once again delivers well-structured songs and mischievously captivating, irresistible refrains on their new album, Deliverance. Pre-order here.
Bay Area thrash legends, Heathen, will release their fourth studio album, Empire Of The Blind, on September 18 via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, the band releases the second album trailer. Watch as they discuss their origins as well as the current lineup, below:
"We are very pleased to announce Empire Of The Blind," states a recent message from the band. "It's been another 10 years but we are finally back with a new Heathen album. Fine wine takes time! Everyone in the band worked their asses off on this record. Zeuss absolutely nailed it and more than realized our vision for the sound. Travis Smith perfectly captured the bleak atmosphere that we imagined for the artwork. It was a year in the making and we couldn't be more proud of the outcome. The 1st single 'The Blight' is just the beginning... behold the rising Empire!"
Empire Of The Blind was for the most part engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered by Christopher “Zeuss” Harris at Planet Z Studios. Additional details - rhythm guitars, etc. - were put to digital “tape” by Kragen Lum at SubLevel Studio in Little Rock, AR. The album features guest appearances by Gary Holt (Exodus, Slayer), Rick Hunolt (ex-Exodus) and Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen).
The cover art for Empire Of The Blind was once again handled by renowned artist Travis Smith (Overkill, Exhorder).

Icelandic Viking metal giants, Skálmöld, will release their second live album and the first one as solo band 10 Year Anniversary - Live In Reykjavík, on September 25 via Napalm Records. Three consecutive sold-out shows at the Gamla Bíó in their hometown Reykjavík were the adequate setting to celebrate the 10th anniversary together with their devotees. 10 Year Anniversary - Live In Reykjavík transports the mythical atmosphere directly into their fans' homes.
With propelling drums and heavy rhythms, underlined by Björgvin Sigurðsson’s unique vocals comes "Niðavellir", the first single fresh off the new live opus. Watch the live video below. The single, originally released on their 2016 album Vögguvísur Yggdrasils, leads the listener straight into Myrkheim, the land of the dwarves. "Niðavellir" became one of Skálmöld’s trademark songs since then and in this live version, the energy coming from stage during the performance is palpable in every corner of Reykjavík's legendary Gamla Bíó.
Skálmöld on the CD/DVD/Blu-Ray: "In late 2009 we started Skálmöld. Nothing serious. Was just supposed for the pure fun of meeting up once in a while to play some metal music. Fast forward 10 years and we are celebrating the release of 10 Years Of Skálmöld - Live in Reykjavík. Recorded in the heart of Iceland's capital at one of our 3 amazing sold out shows. Here is Skálmöld in its purest form - on stage, feeding on the energy of our beloved fans. We feel really proud and happy to present this to you. Enjoy!"
Skálmöld on 10 Year Anniversary - Live In Reykjavík: "Growing up and slowly beginning to descend into the world of metal music there was one album that really left its mark on my young self: Iron Maiden - Live After Death. At 10 years old, in awe, dreaming that one day I could play in a band, play shows, record it and release for others to enjoy was just that - a dream. But now all these years later my band celebrated 10 years of existence. 5 albums and countless shows all over Europe. We just had to capture this moment. So here it is. 10 Years Of Skálmöld - Live in Reykjavík. Here we are doing what we enjoy the most, playing a sweaty sold out show in front of our most dedicated fans. Well that was truly a night to remember. Skál!"
Starting off with their chant-worthy song "Heima", Skálmöld had concert-goers screaming along from the first second. Quickly transforming into "Árás", fans almost immediately got to see the wild side of the band which manifests in menacing vocals, fast riffs and protruding drums. Skálmöld classics, like the story of Loki's son, "Narfi", and just how dangerous and manipulative Loki’s children truly are, were essential for the setlist. "Niðavellir", the obscure home of the dwarves, tells the story of tombs and caves, underlined with propelling drums and heavy rhythms. A catchy guitar riff and alternating vocal lines that exude the energy of Skálmöld’s smashing live performances make "Að hausti" an absolute stunner. This is pure Viking Spirit!
10 Year Anniversary - Live In Reykjavík will be available in North America in the following formats:
- 8 Page Digipack with Sleeve: 2 CD & BluRay
- 2LP Gatefold Black Vinyl
- 2LP Gatefold Edition in Black & White Vinyl (strictly limited to 300 copies)

Sweden's Perfect Plan have released a video for the title track of their upcoming sophomore album, Time For A Miracle, out September 4 via Frontiers Music Srl. Watch the clip below, and pre-order/save Time For A Miracle here. T-shirt bundles are available at the US store.
Sometimes the stars align and create a perfect balance of talent within a group. A band like Perfect Plan is the “perfect" (pun intended) example of that: a superb singer, a well-oiled group of experienced players, and great songwriting talent with a knack for unforgettable melodies and driving rhythms. Add to that the right single released at the right time and Perfect Plan’s emergence as immediate rising stars on the melodic rock scene is no surprise. The song that “built” their reputation is of course the awesome “In and Out of Love,” the first single/video that kicked off the promotion of the band’s 2018 debut album All Rise, released on Frontiers in April of that year.
Now the band returns with their sophomore release and, hyperbole aside, this is a major step forward across the board. Opting for a slightly heavier and more “in your face” sound, Perfect Plan have matured and created an outstanding balance of melodies and energy, with the obvious references to the sound of the classics (think Foreigner, Survivor, The Storm, Giant, etc.) and Scandinavian AOR with a recognizable and personal feel.
The band features the extraordinary singer Kent Hilli together with the extremely talented musicians Rolf Nordström on guitar, Fredrik Forsberg on drums, Leif Ehlin on keyboards, and new bassist Mats Byström.
Perfect Plan are now ready to capitalize on the acclaim of their debut and become one of your new favorite melodic rock bands.

British death metal band, Ingested, have released a video for the song "Another Breath", feat. Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein. The clip, directed by Shayne Minott, can be found below.
Ingested toured the UK with Crowbar in 2018 and both bands hit it off instantly, which led to this collaboration.
Guitarist Sam Yates explains: "In 2018 we opened a fantastic tour in the UK with Crowbar and they were all such down to earth great dudes. Super tight, crazy heavy and had the best stories! Kirk and his wife Robin were so genuine and cool and all of Crowbar would hang with us and shoot the shit most nights. I was on public transport in the piss down rain writing lyrics for Where Only Gods May Tread and I wanted the opening of what became 'Another Breath' to be this epic, heavy, sad song by someone who could actually sing. My first instinct, my first choice for this song was Kirk. It was that “I wonder if…” moment."
As the deadline for the album hand-in loomed, Sam finally reached out to Crowbar bassist Shane Wesley who set the whole thing up.
Sam continues: "Shane took time out of recording with Crowbar to engineer the guest spot himself, and Kirk brought the all-time goods. It was exactly what I had in my mind and he smashed it in record time like an absolute professional. It’s my favourite song from the record; Kirk is truly one of the most slept on metal greats and he was and always will be “The Man”."
On the video, Sam comments: "The director for this video was Shayne Minott at Budget Blood Productions. Seeing his style the idea was to do this all out 90s throwback, dark claymation video. Just like the ones that used to play on music TV when we were teenagers. The story was the ideas and themes of the song itself: defeat, self-loathing, the human condition, shame and control. I wrote the basic outline of the plot and we sent him a lot of content and he came up with what we wanted. Great to work with and considering his medium he absolutely worked his ass off and knocked it out the park."
Ingested's new album, Where Only Gods May Tread, is set for release on August 14 via Unique Leader Records. Where Only Gods May Tread was mixed and mastered by long time producer of Ingested and Cryptopsy guitarist Christian Donaldson (Despised Icon, Beneath The Massacre, The Agonist), engineering was handled by both Nico Beninato and Sam Yates at Foel Studios in Wales. The artwork was created by legendary artist Dan Seagrave (Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Hypocrisy, Entombed, Rivers Of Nihil, Gorguts, Decrepit Birth).

Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Devin Townsend recently teamed up with the four members of SEPULTURA to record a quarantine version of SEPULTURA's "Mask", taken from the 2011 album "Kairos". He also took part in a live chat with SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser and vocalist Derrick Green. Check out video below.
SEPULTURA's latest LP, "Quadra", was released on February 7 via Nuclear Blast Records. It is a concept effort created at Sweden's Fascination Street Studios with renowned producer Jens Bogren.
SEPULTURA comprises vocalist Green, Kisser, bassist Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr., and drummer Eloy Casagrande.
SEPULTURA was formed in Belo Horizonte by brothers Max and Igor Cavalera, who are no longer with the band.
"Quadra" is the follow-up to "Machine Messiah", which was SEPULTURA's fourteenth studio album and the eighth since Green joined the ranks.
Last month, Devin released "Empath - The Ultimate Edition". This comprehensive version of 2019's acclaimed album contains the original record and bonus disc across 2 CDs, plus 2 Blu-ray discs. The first Blu-ray contains the 5.1 Surround Sound mix by Devin, with visuals for the full record, plus a stereo visualizer. The second Blu-ray contains a raft of bonus material, including "Acoustically Inclined - Live in Leeds", a recording from his April 2019 acoustic tour where he performed tracks including "Love?", "Deadhead", "Thing Beyond Things" and more. It also features the full "Empath" documentary, a "Genesis 5.1 Mixing Lesson", a full album commentary and more. The four discs sit inside a beautiful art-book that contains new liner notes and images from the making of the album.
Townsend released "Empath" in March 2019 and embarked on the "Empath - European Tour Vol. 1" last November.
Since disbanding the DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT, Devin has been tracking down players of excellence to form a new live band, the initial incarnation of which he presented via a video message in September.
"Empath" saw Devin incorporating all the styles that make up his current interests in one place.
Video of California rockers PAPA ROACH performing the song "Binge" as part of their second live streaming experience iteration called "Infest In-Studio" can be seen below. The program was a special virtually ticketed, live HD broadcast, which took place June 20 from Sacramento, and it featured PAPA ROACH performing its multi-platinum, classic album "Infest", live in its entirety to celebrate the LP's 20th anniversary, along with exclusive discussions and reflections in a unique studio environment.
"We couldn't take not performing any longer," said frontman Jacoby Shaddix. "Having performed the 'Infest' album in full as a surprise one time before (during the band's sold-out 2015 gig at London's Roundhouse on the album's 15th anniversary), we decided to open this infestation to every living-room in the world to celebrate the 20th anniversary with us!"
PAPA ROACH's first live streaming event, "Infest In-Conversation", broadcast on the 20th anniversary of "Infest"'s release (April 25, 2020), drew 1.8 million live viewers on five platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube and VK. That program featured the band showing rare videos and photos and reminiscing with each other for nearly four hours along with members of DEFTONES, LINKIN PARK, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, KORN, as well as with Dave Buckner (the band's original drummer and founding member) and director Marcos Siega (Grammy-nominated director of the "Last Resort" and "Broken Home" music videos).
"Infest In-Studio" was co-produced by Papa Roach Productions and 10th Street Entertainment and directed by Push. It is available for streaming exclusively via VierLive.com.
"Infest" peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and has been certified triple platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America) for sales in excess of three million copies in the U.S. alone. The album featured the iconic hits "Last Resort" and "Broken Home" plus fan favorites "Blood Brothers" and "Between Angels & Insects".
This past February, Shaddix said that plans were afoot for PAPA ROACH to mark the LP's two-decade milestone.
"We've done some really cool things in the studio around some of the previous recordings, and we have some awesome stuff to release here throughout the year, so we're going to celebrate this album for sure — one hundred percent, definitely," the singer said.
Shaddix also spoke about the enduring popularity of "Infest"'s rap-rock anthem "Last Resort", which recently passed 100 million views on YouTube.
"That's our classic," he said. "That thing, it's given us such a relevance, even in pop culture. People are making memes — 'Cut my life into pizza.' I love that. 'Cause now I don't take it all too seriously, because it's embedded itself into pop culture, but then also the reality is that it's spoken to a lot of people's hearts that have been in that darkness, and going, 'Hey, man, there's some hope. You can come out of this. You don't have to stay in there.'"
Earlier in the year, PAPA ROACH completed a European tour with ICE NINE KILLS and HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD.
Sammy Hagar joined Dave Mason and a several other legendary rockers, including Mick Fleetwood, Michael McDonald and THE DOOBIE BROTHERS to record a quarantine cover of the 1968 TRAFFIC classic "Feelin' Alright'".
Dubbed DAVE MASON AND THE QUARANTINES, the group's recording features Mason singing along with Fleetwood, Hagar, McDonald and THE DOOBIE BROTHERS' John McFee, Tom Johnston, John Cowan and Pat Simmons. Also appearing on the track are Dave's longtime drummer Alvino Bennett, as well as Pat's son Pat Simmons Jr.
Over the years, "Feelin' Alright" has been covered by several dozen artists, including Joe Cocker, THE JACKSON FIVE, Lou Rawls, John Belushi, THREE DOG NIGHT, GLADYS KNIGHT AND THE PIPS, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, ELO, Freddie King, WIDESPREAD PANIC and THE BLACK CROWES.
"Who would have thought that this would go on to be covered by so many different artists and bands, you just never know," Mason said in a statement. "But what I do know today is that people need some hope and comfort and especially music, which is why I called up some friends to rerecord a special version of the song. To do this remotely was somewhat challenging, hence the name 'THE QUARANTINES,' but the spirit of strength, hope and heart prevail."
Added Hagar: "I've always been a fan of Dave Mason since TRAFFIC. He's written some classics that I've cut my teeth on... learning how to play and write songs myself. 'Feelin' Alright' is one of my favorites.
Mason is reportedly working on a re-imagined release of his classic album "Alone Together", due this fall as "Alone Together… Again".
Mason and Steve Winwood are the only surviving members of the original TRAFFIC lineup, which was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.
Winwood last toured as TRAFFIC in the mid-1990s with the band's drummer, Jim Capaldi.
Boston’s The Offering are anything but orthodox. The high-flying quartet have a way of cleverly suffusing all their influences—from black and death to heavy and modern to thrash and power to nü and hardcore—into their story-like songs. Over time (and across many refinement sessions), The Offering have developed their all-in dynamic into a signature sound.
The band used the recent downtime to film a playthrough for the song “Waste Away”:
Nishad George (guitars) comments: “We were sick of being inside all day, so Spencer and I decided to head to the beach to for a playthrough in the heat. You can bet that touring is the first thing we’ll get to when this pandemic settles. Until then... here’s ‘Waste Away’.”
“Waste Away” is taken from their debut album, Home, that was released in August of 2019.
The Offering partly tracked Home at Carriage House Studios in Stamford CT, a place where diverse pop, rock and metal artists recorded influential albums including Pantera, Fates Warning, Overkill, Deftones, BoySetsFire or Sugar. Home was then mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and many more).
Fredrik Nordström about Home: “This is the most crazy and insane music I ever worked with, I love it!”
Belgian death metal band, Carnation, have released a new live video for their recently released single, "Sepulcher Of Alteration". The video was shot during the band's demolishing performance at the Hellgium Festival that took place in Belgium in 2020. The track is taken from the bands upcoming full length, Where Death Lies, which is due September 18.
Frontman Simon Duson comments: "The debut live performance of our newest track 'Sepulcher Of Alteration' took place at the Hellgium Livestream Festival earlier this month. We have been yearning to perform this track live, ever since the day we finished writing it. Sadly, we were unable to witness your reaction in the flesh, but with the ongoing pandemic, this felt like the only possible way for us to take this track to the stage anytime soon, and we'll take what we can get!"
Where Death Lies is out on September 18 via Season Of Mist. Pre-order the album in various formats here.
Where Death Lies was recorded from January to April 2020. The drums were recorded by Wojtek & Sławek Wieslawski at the Hertz Recording Studio in Białystok, Poland and the guitars, bass & vocals were recorded by Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio in Nijlen, Belgium.

Celebrate with us the release of VANISHING POINT’s second aspiring musical creation and it’s new highly elaborate lyric video!
Frontman Silvio Massaro says of "Salvus": "You know there are times and moments in ones life, which are completely put into perspective. There could be many things that happen in your life that you wish you could relive or wish you had done all again. Truth is no matter how hard you try to reach out and take back the time that escapes you like smoke in the air from every birthday candle you blow out. Salvus is a reminder to simply STOP and try not to think about the mundane routines and step outside yourself and look at the ones around you that truly mean more to you than life itself. Because after all 'We don't have to change the world' but we can cherish every single moment and memory of those you love past and present."

played a "socially distanced" concert last night (Friday, July 17) at Dr. Pepper Park in Roanoke, Virginia that featured special guest guitarist Reb Beach (WINGER, WHITESNAKE). He was filling in for DOKKEN's longtime guitarist Jon Levin, who had opted to sit out the show due to the coronavirus pandemic which is sweeping the globe.
Fan-filmed video footage of last night's show can be seen below.
DOKKEN frontman Don Dokken explained the guitarist switch in an interview with Greg Prato of Songfacts. He said: "Reb is coming to fill in because Jon can't go on the road right now — he doesn't feel comfortable with the COVID because his father is 90 years old and he's the primary caregiver. He said, 'Man, if I get COVID and give it to my dad, he'll die.' And I said, 'I get it, Jon. I respect you and your father.' So, I got Reb coming in to fill in for these two shows, and I just told Jon, 'Let's hope for the best. Let's hope the COVID thing gets better and they come out with a vaccine. Until then, if you don't feel comfortable getting on a plane, then don't.'"
Beach is best known for his work in the band WINGER and for being a member of WHITESNAKE since 2002.
After WINGER disbanded for a period in the mid-1990s, Beach first joined Alice Cooper's band and later replaced Lynch in DOKKEN. With DOKKEN, he recorded one studio album, titled "Erase The Slate", and a live DVD, titled "Live From The Sun".
Since leaving DOKKEN, Beach has been a part of several different recording and touring projects. In addition to sporadic touring with WINGER, he released a solo effort titled "Masquerade" in 2002. Since 2002, he has been a member of David Coverdale's current incarnation of WHITESNAKE and has been the longest-serving guitarist/member of the band to this day, excluding Coverdale.
In a 2019 interview with The Aquarian Weekly, Beach stated about stepping into another guitar hero's shoes in both WHITESNAKE and DOKKEN: "It might cross my mind for two seconds. I don't sound anything like [DEEP PURPLE's] Ritchie Blackmore and I don't sound anything like George Lynch. I never will. I was more nervous stepping into DOKKEN than with anything else, 'cause it was right after Lynch left. During our first live show together, this guy took off his sneaker and whipped it at me, striking me right in the head. He came to the show expecting to see George Lynch and not me. There were a few people not happy to see me. By the end of the show, however, they were happy."
