STARGAZER Release Official Video For "Sentimental Guy"Stargazer have released a video for "Sentimental Guy", a track from their latest album, The Sky Is The Limit, released in October last year via Mighty Music. Watch the new clip below:
Stargazer’s first album received great reviews from the hard rock-based media all over Europe back in 2010. In 2019, nine years on, Stargazer was back with their second album entitled The Sky Is The Limit. After years of struggle on the tiny hard rock scene of Norway playing festivals and support for bands like Jorn, Stage Dolls, DAD, Gary Moore, Nazareth and more, Stargazer were now ready to take on the world.
With a worldwide release provided by Mighty Music at hand, Stargazer set out to be a beacon on the hard rock scene. A bright shining star emerging with energy and power, capacity and skills, and a lyrical universe that both explores and recognizes the heart of darkness in humanity, yet fighting with passion always to light up a light in the gloom of nothingness. With Stargazer, you can hear and see evidence of the will to keep on keeping on.
If you are into “in your face” classic melodic hard rock with elements of Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Dio and Deep Purple; then Stargazer is a band for you.

MEGADETH, ANTHRAX Members Guest On 'Metal For Kids United''s Cover Of DEEP PURPLE's 'Burn'"Metal For Kids United - All-Star Charity Jam" will celebrate its fifth anniversary with the worldwide release of an all-star video jam tribute to the fathers of heavy metal with an extended version of DEEP PURPLE's classic "Burn", featuring 25 metal artists from around the world.
The Italian organization will once again support the Peter Pan Association, a voluntary association helping children with cancer and their families since 1994 through free hospitality in Rome during treatment at Child Jesus Hospital.
"Due to sudden spread of the coronavirus pandemic, we were forced to cancel the 2020 edition of the annual benefit show booked in Rome for April," says Fabrizio Troiano, president of "Metal For Kids United" and organizer of the event. "During the spring lockdown period, we asked old and new friends of 'Metal For Kids United' to jam together from their own place to celebrate our fifth anniversary and keep the promise made to the association."
Rock and metal lovers will have the chance to enjoy a new and contemporary rendition of the DEEP PURPLE classic for free and will be invited to support the initiative with donations or by purchasing the merchandise.
The lineup of 25 performers includes thrash metal legends such as bassist David Ellefson (MEGADETH), guitarist Scott Ian (ANTHRAX), along with classic-power metal artists from around the world like German screamer Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR), Bay Area singer Brian O'Connor (VICIOUS RUMORS), Brazilian guitarist/singer Rafael Bittencourt (ANGRA), Japanese guitar virtuoso Syu (GALNERYUS), drummer Thomen Stauch (BLIND GUARDIAN, MENTALIST) and guitarist Jens Ludwig (EDGUY) from Germany as well as Italian keyboard player Mistheria (VIVALDI METAL PROJECT, BRUCE DICKINSON).
The list includes also other well-known and internationally established Italian heavy metal/rock musicians from bands like DORO, EXTREMA, VISION DIVINE and LABYRINTH, to name a few, reunited with the aim of raising awareness of children cancer and raising funds for voluntary associations which are striving to carry out their daily mission in such hard times.
By releasing the all-star video, cultural association "Metal For Kids United" will make an initial donation of 2,000 euros (approximately $2,300) to the Peter Pan Association to kick off and boost a fundraising campaign available on link textGoFundMe platform.
Over 12,000 euros have been donated to non-profit organizations working in Italy to help children with the four past editions.
"We are very proud of the achievements over the years and we hope, despite the impossibility of making a physical event as in our tradition, we can once again share fun together, raise funds for the kids in need and give the chance to the people from all over the world to experience the 'Metal For Kids United' spirit of solidarity," Troiano adds. "Don't forget to play it loud, make metal horns, headbang and share the video."

LED ZEPPELIN Celebrates 50th Anniversary Of 'III' Album With Reissue Of 'Immigrant Song' Japanese 7" SingleJimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jones released "Led Zeppelin III" 50 years ago today in the U.S., on October 5, 1970, with the U.K. and other countries following a few weeks later. The band's third album in less than two years, it would top the charts in several countries — including the U.S. and the U.K. — on its way to selling more than 13 million copies worldwide. Beyond its overwhelming commercial success, the album also represented a turning point musically for LED ZEPPELIN as the group expanded its hard-hitting sound to embrace a wider range of styles on acoustic-based songs like "That's The Way", "Tangerine" and "Bron-Y-Aur-Stomp".
In celebration of the record's 50th anniversary, the band will reissue the Japanese version of the album's only single — "Immigrant Song" backed with the non-album track "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do" — on seven-inch vinyl. Limited to 19,700 copies, it comes in a sleeve that replicates the original artwork. The single will be released on January 15, 2021 and can be pre-ordered at www.ledzeppelin.com starting this Thursday.
"Immigrant Song" was a Top 20 hit in the U.S. and has gone on to become one of the band's most popular and enduring songs, currently ranking as their second most-streamed track worldwide. It's also had an enduring impact on pop culture thanks to several memorable appearances in blockbuster motion pictures such as "School Of Rock" and, most recently, in Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok".
"Immigrant Song" and its lyrical references to Norse mythology were inspired by the band's concert in Reykjavik, Iceland on June 22, 1970. Six days later, the song made its live debut in England at the Bath Festival Of Blues And Progressive Music. That fall, it would appear as the lead-off track on "Led Zeppelin III".
Following the whirlwind success of the band's first two albums and near constant touring, there was an initial rehearsal with Plant and Bonham where Page presented "Immigrant Song", "Friends" and what became "Out On The Tiles". Page and Plant then took to the now famous Bron-Yr-Aur cottage in Wales in 1970 to have a musical sabbatical. The remote 18th-century cottage — which lacked electricity and running water — became home to "That's The Way".
Page and Plant later convened with Bonham and Jones for rehearsals before recording began in earnest that May with engineer Andy Johns. The band recorded the album in several locations, including London's Olympic Studios and Island Studios. Following the recording sessions, Page, who produced the album, took the mixed master tapes to Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, to make the cut for vinyl. Fueled by classic tracks such as "Since I've Been Loving You", "Out On The Tiles" and "Celebration Day", "Led Zeppelin III" has been certified six times platinum in the U.S. alone while also achieving multi-platinum status in many other countries.
Beyond the music, the album is noteworthy for another reason — its innovative artwork. When it was originally released on vinyl, "Led Zeppelin III" came packaged in a gatefold sleeve, conceived by Page and designed by multi-media artist Zacron (a.k.a. Richard Drew), whom Page had met in the early 1960s when Drew was attending Kingston College Of Art. For his design, Zacron created a surreal collection of images (planes, birds and butterflies) surrounding several cutout holes. Behind the cover, he placed a rotating disc (volvelle or wheel chart) that featured more images, including photos of all four bandmembers. When the disc was turned by hand, different images would appear in the openings to create an interactive visual experience. 4

Former CLUTCH Touring Guitarist BRYAN PORTER HINKLEY To Release 'We Live Through It' EPGuitarist, songwriter, singer, producer, and owner of Gratitude Sound, Bryan Porter Hinkley will release his debut solo EP, "We Live Through It", on October 16. The EP features Jean-Paul Gaster (CLUTCH) alongside Hinkley. Recorded in Hinkley's home during quarantine (with Gaster's parts recorded in Maryland), it was mixed by Benny Grotto at Mad Oak and mastered by Jeff Lipton and Maria Rice at Peerless — all in the artist's hometown of Boston.
"We Live Through It" is a three-song EP primarily written and recorded in a makeshift home studio during the spring and summer of 2020. It features three frenetic, upbeat, catchy and danceable tunes played on an acoustic guitar (a first for Hinkley) and anchored by the propulsive groove of Jean-Paul Gaster's drumming. It reflects on the constant human struggle with change.
The EP opens with "Redbull And Gasoline (Living For A Change)" , an observation about the change that's always happening around us, and in us, as well as the current changes happening in the U.S. A song about staying present, enjoying the moment, and the delicate balance of life. Hinkley says: "Life is constantly in flux. Do we choose to resist it or embrace it? Either way, the change is going to happen."
Next up is "Hand In The Fire", an observation about the search for understanding and a need to learn from our mistakes. In an effort to get back to his roots, Hinkley stripped all the production back and focused on writing a song with only his voice and a guitar. Then added bass, drums, and percussion back into the fold. The result is a stomp along, sing-along that will easily be at home on a sweaty dance floor in the non-socially distanced future.
A new wave-esque drumbeat kicks off the closer, "No Time". Hinkley's telephone vocals contemplate the perception of time, "time's catching up, not slowing down." Gaster's robust drum fills punctuate the chorus' declaration of, "there's no time better than right now!"
Hinkley is no stranger to the music industry and has had a dynamic career filling many different roles. His love for music developed at a young age when he would sneak out of his bedroom at night to listen to his mother and her folk/bluegrass bandmates rehearse in the family living room. Inspired by those jams, Bryan took up the guitar and by the time he reached middle school, he was producing four-track demos in his bedroom.
As a high school student in suburban Boston, Bryan played guitar in the hardcore punk/alternative metal band TREE — which also featured his brother, Billy, on drums. They toured internationally for over eight years and frequently shared the stage with bands like the MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES, CLUTCH, and THE DROPKICK MURPHYS. Subsequently, the Boston musicians developed a friendship with the Maryland hardcore/stoner rockers CLUTCH. That friendship developed into Hinkley joining CLUTCH on tour as a guitar tech/stage manager, where he was asked to grab a guitar and jump on stage for a song or two every night. That experience evolved into an invitation to write and record with the band for CLUTCH's album "From Beale Street To Oblivion", recorded at the famed southern California studio Sound City.
After five years touring with CLUTCH, Hinkley decided to step back from the road to stay at home in Boston with his young family. He and his brother Billy founded NEVER GOT CAUGHT and gigged regionally as well as a few short runs outside of New England. Around the same time, Hinkley was introduced to writing music for advertising after a friend from an ad agency used one of his tracks for a Dunkin' Donuts commercial.
In 2014, Hinkley founded Gratitude Sound. The agency provides supervision, original music, and licensing for advertising agencies and production companies. Working with a team of composers, established artists, and emerging talent, Bryan is responsible for the daily operations as well as the creative direction. His composition work has been featured in multiple TV commercials, films, and network television shows and the company has won numerous awards for original composition.

MOTÖRHEAD Releases 'Faces Of Lemmy' Face MasksMOTÖRHEAD has released a "Faces Of Lemmy" three-pack, a package of three cotton masks with two ear loops and images of late frontman Lemmy Kilmister's face across the entire design. The set of face masks can be purchased from the band's official store for just $20.
Lemmy died in December 2015 at the age of 70 shortly after learning he had been diagnosed with cancer.
He had dealt with several health issues over the last few years of his life, including heart trouble, forcing him to cut back on his famous smoking habits.
MOTÖRHEAD had to cancel a number of shows in 2015 because of Lemmy's poor health, although the band did manage to complete one final European tour a couple of weeks before his death.
This past June, it was announced that Lemmy will get the biopic treatment. The upcoming film, "Lemmy", will be directed by Greg Olliver, who previously helmed the 2010 documentary of the same name, "Lemmy".
"Lemmy" will go into production next year, with VMI introducing the film at the Cannes virtual market. It will follow Kilmister's life growing up in Stoke-on-Trent, becoming a roadie for Jimi Hendrix and a member of seminal psychedelic rock band HAWKWIND before forming MOTÖRHEAD. 2

AC/DC's 'Shot In The Dark' Single To Arrive On Wednesday; New Teaser AvailableAC/DC will release "Shot In The Dark", the first single from the band's long-awaited comeback album, on Wednesday, October 7 at 12:00 a.m. EDT / 9:00 p.m. PDT (Tuesday night). The follow-up to 2014's "Rock Or Bust", "PWR/UP" features AC/DC's 2020 lineup of Brian Johnson (vocals), Phil Rudd (drums), Cliff Williams (bass), Angus Young (guitar) and Stevie Young (guitar).
A brand new teaser for "Shot In The Dark" is available below.
Last month, images seemingly taken from a new video shoot were apparently posted on the band's official web site before being swiftly removed. The photos, which were obtained by a Brazilian fan site, appeared to show Johnson joined by Rudd, Williams and Angus and Stevie Young. The pictures were the first of Phil and Stevie sharing a stage, adding weight to the rumor of Rudd's return.
Earlier in the year, prior to the coronavirus outbreak, it was rumored that AC/DC was about to announce a world stadium tour. The trek will apparently include Johnson, who was forced to leave the band mid-tour four years ago due to a dangerous level of hearing loss. He was eventually replaced on the road by GUNS N' ROSES vocalist Axl Rose.
More than two years ago, Brian and Phil, along with Angus and Stevie, were photographed outside Vancouver's Warehouse Studios. Based on the pictures, the assumption was that AC/DC was in the midst of making — or at least planning — another album, with Rudd and Johnson both back in the lineup.
Ever since AC/DC completed the tour cycle for its 2014 album "Rock Or Bust" four years ago — a turbulent trek that weathered the forced retirement and eventual death of co-founder Malcolm Young, plus the departures of Johnson, Rudd and Williams — fans have wondered whether sole remaining founding member Angus Young would keep the band going or decide it was time for AC/DC to pack it in.
In February 2019, a photo surfaced on social media suggesting that Williams has also returned to AC/DC and will appear on the comeback album.
A September 2018 report from JAM! magazine cited a "reliable source inside the AC/DC camp" as indicating that the band was recording a new LP which would utilize previously unreleased guitar tracks from Malcolm Young on all the songs.
Rudd was ousted from AC/DC when he was sentenced to eight months of home detention by a New Zealand court in 2015 after pleading guilty to charges of threatening to kill and drug possession.
Rudd, who has appeared on all but three of AC/DC's 18 studio albums, toured in support of his 2014 solo debut, "Head Job". It was the release of that album that led indirectly to Rudd's arrest, with the drummer allegedly so angry at a personal assistant over the way the record was promoted that he threatened to have the man and his daughter killed.

ORIANTHI Releases Music Video For New Single 'Impulsive'Australian guitarist Orianthi (ALICE COOPER, RSO, Michael Jackson) has released the official music video for her new single called "Impulsive". The track is taken from her first new studio album in seven years and her first new music as a solo artist in six years, "O", due on November 6 via Frontiers Music Srl.
Says Orianthi: "'Impulsive' is a fun track. I wrote it pretty fast with my friend and producer Marti Frederiksen. The video was was a blast to make at the Dollhouse in Los Angeles with the great director Jim Louvau."
"O" track listing:
01. Contagious
02. Sinners Hymn
03. Rescue Me
04. Blow
05. Sorry
06. Crawling Out Of The Dark
07. Impulsive
08. Streams Of Consciousness
09. Company
10. Moonwalker
In other news, Orianthi will host a livestream of a set from the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California on Saturday, September 19 at 9 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. CST / 6 p.m. PST. Tickets are available here.
This past April, Orianthi told the "Australian Rock Show" about her upcoming fourth solo album: "I'm so excited about this record — really excited. "We did it in 28 days in Nashville. [I made the record with] Marti Frederiksen, who's a dear friend of mine, an amazing songwriter, producer. I just go out to Nashville, where my management is at, and I love it over there. I made actually my last record too, with Dave Stewart there, at Blackbird [studio]. There's some kind of energy in Nashville — it's just a great feeling when you get there. So many musicians are there. And we just jumped right into the studio. Marti and I wrote and recorded, in 28 days, all the songs. And, yeah, it was just a great, fun experience."
Regarding the musical direction of her new material, Orianthi said: "This record is not too much of a departure from my past stuff, but it is different. So I think people will get what they sort of expect, with that heavy riffage and big solos, but there's a lot of different sounds going on and textures, with drum loops and synths. It's not just staying with one tone throughout the whole record… There's some heavy tracks on there. There's some lighter tracks [and] bluesy tracks. As I said, it's different, but it's kind of what people were sort of expecting.
"The thing is you have to keep on evolving and changing," she explained. "You don't make the same record over and over again; I would just bore the hell out of myself and everyone else. So I wanna keep on changing. And I'm already thinking about the next record right now. Marti+- and I are writing next week for it."
Asked if all the songs for the follow-up to 2013's "Heaven In This Hell" were written specifically for this project or there were some which she had previously written that were later "finessed for inclusion," she said: "A couple were finessed, but pretty much the majority of them were just all written for this record. A song called 'Sinners Hymn', which I had for a minute, I brought that in, and we added the chorus to it, 'cause it had a different chorus, and made it sound a little heavier. And I think that's kind of it. 'Cause the rest of it was just written all for this record. And one was written with Nikki Sixx from MÖTLEY CRÜE, which was amazing. [He wrote] killer lyrics. He e-mailed them to me, and I was, like, 'Woah! These are amazing.' So, yeah, we wrote a song with those lyrics — Marti and I. I'm really excited for everybody to hear this record. And hopefully they dig it as much as we enjoyed making it."
Born in Australia, Orianthi was inspired to learn guitar at a young age after discovering her father's vinyl collection. She rose to international fame at age 24 after the release of her hit single "According To You" and a high-energy performance backing Carrie Underwood at the 2009 Grammy Awards. Although she had already been invited to jam with the likes of Carlos Santana and Steve Vai, mainstream audiences had not previously heard of this captivating guitar prodigy.
Her recognition increased even further when Michael Jackson called with an offer to be his guitarist for his dates at the O2 Arena in London. Although the concert series was not to be, the release of the behind-the-scenes documentary "Michael Jackson's This Is It" showcased Orianthi's masterful playing as well as her creativity and collaboration. 3

EVANESCENCE's AMY LEE: 'There's So Much Happening In Our World That Feels Frustrating'In a new interview with the FM99 WNOR radio station, EVENASCENCE singer Amy Lee talked about the inspiration for the band's long-awaited new album, "The Bitter Truth", which will arrive in the coming months. "It's a lot," she said (see video below). "We had a lot of time and experience to pool from to put towards this.
"I'm in a place right where meaning is at the forefront for me — more than a sound, more than a sonic space or energy," she explained. "It's coming from putting the meanings and the lyrics kind of in the front of my mind as a big part of the driving force for my need for music right now. Maybe that doesn't sound like a big difference, but…
"As a musician, it's fun to just jam — create music 'cause it feels good to your heart and it doesn't have to have words or mean anything; that kind of comes later. And that's sort of my comfort zone in general. But this time, there's just so much to say. There's so much happening in our world that feels frustrating, in our country and in the world, and just feeling so many strong feelings of just like an animal in a cage. Things need to come out. And on top of that, over the last decade, as a band and as individual people, we've been through a lot. We've had some serious losses in our band family. And I became a mom. Just a lot of big life perspective change.
"I've always said music is my therapy — it's always been true — but I am remembering and living it in a very real and real-time way right now," Amy added. "I make music every day because it is healing my heart."
This past August, EVANESCENCE released a new single, "Use My Voice", which was written to celebrate the power of speaking out in order to promote more justice in the world. The track, featuring contributions from THE PRETTY RECKLESS's Taylor Momsen and HALESTORM's Lzzy Hale, was chosen by HeadCount in the USA to encourage voters to register, check their registration, or find out about their remote voting options amid the COVID-19 pandemic at UseMyVoice.org.
EVANESCENCE's new music is being produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who also worked on 2011's self-titled LP.
EVANESCENCE spent much of the last two years recording and touring in support of 2017's "Synthesis", which contained some of the band's best-loved songs — as well as a couple of new ones — reinvented with full orchestra over a deep electronic landscape. 7

Listen To YES's Cover Of JOHN LENNON's 'Imagine'To mark what would have been John Lennon's 80th birthday, YES has released "Imagine" as a single through BMG Records. The track was recorded at the Hard Rock Hotel, Las Vegas during the encore on the final night of YES's 2019 U.S. "The Royal Affair Tour" and will be included on "The Royal Affair Tour Live From Las Vegas" album, due for release on October 30.
Lennon would have celebrated his 80th birthday on October 9. As one of the creative forces in THE BEATLES, he remains one of the most influential musicians of all time and "Imagine" is one his best-loved songs. It was recorded in May 1971, after THE BEATLES' split, in Lennon's studio at his home in Berkshire and featured soon-to-be YES drummer Alan White who was a member of Lennon's PLASTIC ONO BAND ensemble.
YES first covered a BEATLES track on its eponymous debut album and chose to include "Imagine" in its set for "The Royal Affair Tour" in recognition of White's part in this iconic recording, almost 50 years before. As YES played "Imagine", a film was shown behind the band of John Lennon recording the song in his studio with George Harrison, Klaus Voormann and a very youthful Alan White.
"They put a special film together with footage from that time. We played 'Imagine' on the YES tour, and they'd run it behind me. The first time I saw it, I turned around and went, 'Who the hell is that guy?!'" Alan laughed.
"The Royal Affair Tour: Live From Las Vegas" features many classic tracks across the period 1970 - 1980. The set opened with "No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed", the Richie Havens cover from YES's second album "Time And A Word" (1970). "Tempus Fugit" was taken from "Drama" (1980), Geoff Downes's first as a member of YES, while "Going For The One", "I've Seen All Good People" and "Siberian Khatru" are from some of YES's iconic mid-'70s albums. The set included a rare live performance of YES's cover of Paul Simon's "America".
"The Royal Affair Tour" live set and album, recorded at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in July 2019, reaches a climax with two of the best-loved YES tracks "Roundabout" and "Starship Trooper", always a high note on which to close the set.
YES is Steve Howe (guitar), who joined in 1970; Alan White, drums since 1972; Geoff Downes (keyboards), who first joined in 1980; vocalist since 2011, Jon Davison; Billy Sherwood, who played guitar/keyboards in the 1990s and was the late Chris Squire's choice to take over bass/vocals in 2015. Jay Schellen played additional drums.
"The Royal Affair" tour also featured an exhibition of original art by Roger Dean whose artwork is synonymous having designed the iconic YES logo and the band's best-loved album covers. Roger Dean recently painted "The Royal Affair" tour album artwork live on Facebook while also fielding questions from fans.
"The Royal Affair Tour: Live In Las Vegas" track listing:
01. No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed
02. Tempus Fugit
03. Going For The One
04. I've Seen All Good People
05. Siberian Khatru
06. Onward
07. America
08. Imagine
09. Roundabout
10. Starship Trooper

View a trailer for Music, Money, Madness... Jimi Hendrix In Maui:
A video for "Foxey Lady" Live In Maui, 1970 can be found below. Pre-order Music, Money, Madness... Jimi Hendrix Live In Maui documentary/Live In Maui album here.
By the middle of 1970, Jimi Hendrix was working on a follow up album to Electric Ladyland with his bandmates Mitch Mitchell (drums) and Billy Cox (bass), headlining festivals and arenas across the U.S. and building Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. Completing this state-of-the-art recording facility was proving to be a costly endeavor, so his manager Michael Jeffery procured a $500,000 advance from Warner Bros. to fund the remaining construction required to complete the studio. At those same meetings, Jeffery convinced Warner Bros. executives to finance a film called Rainbow Bridge that was to be shot in Maui, in exchange for rights to its soundtrack album consisting of new Jimi Hendrix studio recordings.
Inspired by Easy Rider and directed by Warhol acolyte Chuck Wein, Jeffery’s film centered around the idea of a “rainbow bridge” between the unenlightened and enlightened worlds. It was envisioned to feature everything from surfing and yoga to meditation and Tai-Chi and filmed without the aid of a script or professional actors. It proved to be a rambling assemblage of hippie excess and Jeffery grew concerned that his investment was being squandered. The Experience were already booked to perform a concert in Honolulu at the H.I.C. Arena on August 1, 1970. Chuck Wein, desperate to feature Hendrix in some capacity within the film, devised a plan to film a free ‘color/sound vibratory experiment’ on the lower slope of the dormant Haleakala volcano. Word of mouth about a free Jimi Hendrix concert led a few hundred curious Maui locals to the Baldwin cattle ranch in Olinda where a makeshift stage was constructed and the audience was arranged by their astrological signs. The performance was a success – the trio was at the height of its powers and played two sets flawlessly against a stunning natural backdrop.
In the aftermath of his performance on Maui, Hendrix would return to New York and his work at Electric Lady Studios. He had no further involvement in Rainbow Bridge. He left for Europe at the end of August to headline the massive Isle Of Wight festival and begin a European tour. Tragically, he would die in London on September 18, 1970.
The Cry Of Love, the first album of posthumous Jimi Hendrix recordings, was issued in 1971 to wide commercial and critical acclaim. Jeffery readied Rainbow Bridge and its accompanying soundtrack to be the next release. Despite its Hendrix association, the film was a commercial flop. Rainbow Bridge confused moviegoers, many of whom were under the impression they were going to see a concert film. A scant 17 minutes of haphazardly edited Hendrix concert footage was used in the final cut, and it proved to be the film’s saving grace. Due to technical problems inherent in the original recording of the Maui performances, Mitch Mitchell had to overdub his drum tracks at Electric Lady Studios in 1971 just so those performances could be featured.
Eddie Kramer recalls, "Mitch did a tremendous amount of work on the overdubs. If he didn’t get it in one take, he certainly did in the second one and I was so blown away by his ability to duplicate the parts he had already played! He was determined to fix what suffered on the recordings due to the 50 mile an hour winds because they were playing on the side of a bloody volcano! After Jimi died it took a while before I was able to go back to the closet with all the tapes. Mitch was a trooper with a can do British attitude. It’s all very well to overdub drums, but to do it so you can’t tell, that’s the magic. He knew the material extremely well and it’s a tribute to his sensitivity as a great musician and an equal and willing partner of Jimi’s.”
The posthumously released Rainbow Bridge soundtrack album, prepared by Mitch Mitchell, Eddie Kramer and John Jansen, was first rate and featured classics such as “Dolly Dagger” and “Hey Baby (New Rising Sun).” The album, however, did not include audio from the Maui concert, which may have also added to consumer confusion.
Directed by John McDermott and produced by Janie Hendrix, George Scott and McDermott, Music, Money, Madness... Jimi Hendrix In Maui incorporates never before released original footage and new interviews with firsthand participants and key players such as Billy Cox, Eddie Kramer, Warner Bros. executives and several Rainbow Bridge cast members, as well as its director Chuck Wein. Their fascinating account tells the definitive story about one of the most controversial independent films ever made.
The documentary sets the proverbial stage for Live In Maui – the two full Jimi Hendrix Experience sets, including breathtaking renditions of crowd favorites like “Foxey Lady,” “Purple Haze” and Voodoo Child (Slight Return),” as well as then-unreleased songs like “Dolly Dagger” and “Freedom” that showcased the new direction Hendrix was moving toward.
“Jimi loved adventure and there was certainly no shortage of it during his time in Hawaii, a place he also loved,” said Janie Hendrix. “The back story of Rainbow Bridge and these recordings paint a picture of Jimi’s uncanny ability to turn the bizarre into something amazing! We’re excited about this release because it gives the world a closer look at Jimi’s genius.”

WARRANT Guitarist ERIK TURNER Looks Back On "Auditioning" For MEGADETH - "I Met DAVE MUSTAINE, We Talked, And That Was It; I Never Got Past That"Warrant guitarist Erik Turned recently guested on The Chuck Shute Podcast. During the interview, found below, Turner discusses working with former Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin, auditioning for Megadeth. opening for Mötley Crüe on the Dr. Feelgood tour, the 30th Anniversaries of the Cherry Pie and Dog Eat Dog albums, and more.
On auditioning for Megadeth
Turner: "When I was 16, there was a paper called The Recycler in Orange County, and there was an ad in there. I had never heard of Metallica at the time, but it says ex-Metallica guitarist forming new band, Megadeth, inquire if you're interested. So I contacted Dave (Mustaine) through the paper, the phone or whatever. And I went down I think it was Huntington Beach, and it was his mom's apartment or something there that he was staying at. I don't know whose, I think it was his mom. I don't know, I could be wrong. But anyways, I met Dave, we talked, and that was it. I never got past that... Audition is to the next level of actually jamming with. But, years laterr we lived in the same apartment building in Sherman Oaks. I would see him at different places and say hi. And I reminded him of that story. And yeah, he's always been super cool to me."
Turner and his son, Noah, recently performed a quarantine acoustic cover of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance". Check out the video below.
"We Warrant's can’t wait to rock with you again and hope that y’all are doing great," states a message.

PAPA ROACH's JACOBY SHADDIX: Being A Father Has Changed The Way I Approach Everything In LifePAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix spoke to the "Behind The Vinyl" podcast about how fatherhood has changed his perspective on life and touring. He said (hear audio below): "Being a father has definitely evolved the way that I approach everything in my life, to be honest — in a lot of good ways, I feel. And the relationship that I've been able to build with my boys over the years, and they've been able to travel with me and see life from a different perspective. And I think that's important. I've also struggled a lot with being gone so much.
"Sometimes I'll talk to my kids, I'm, like… I've asked my kids straight up, 'Do you resent me for being gone all the time? Are you mad at me?'" he continued. "And their answer to me at the time was, 'We're not mad at you. We don't resent you. We get sad. We miss you.' But it's also important to do what you love and to follow your passion. I wanna teach my kids, if you just get stuck in this wheel of you're not, I guess, feeling like you're fulfilling your purpose, life can get real monotonous and dull and dark. So I keep chasing this dream out here.
"My boy Jagger, my middle son, he loves music, loves metal music, loves punk music, loves hip-hop. He plays drums. He's been playing drums since he could tap and beatbox, so, like, two years old, three years old, and now he's 15 and he's shredding. His favorite thing to do is play along to SLIPKNOT; right now, that's his deal. He's got his double kick going and he loves it.
"My older son, he doesn't wanna pursue music at all, but he loves music.
"This rock and roll circus of being a father and a frontman, it's like wearing two hats, but it's the life that we chose and the life that I'm living. And I've got some good kids. And more importantly, my wife, she just holds it down, man. She's a badass. If I didn't have a wife that was kicking ass like her, I don't know what my life would look like.
"I've got friends in bands that when they go away on tour, they don't know if the house is burning down," Jacoby added. "So it's good to know that the house is not burning down when I'm on tour."
PAPA ROACH recently spent time at a studio in Southern California writing and recording material for the follow-up to last year's "Who Do You Trust?" album.
This past July, Shaddix told Rock Sound TV that PAPA ROACH's next album will be released through band's own record company. Jacoby also said that PAPA ROACH recently completed a new song called "Bloodline" which he described as "P. ROACH meets SYSTEM OF A DOWN meets DEVO."
"Who Do You Trust?" was released in January 2019. The disc was produced by Nick "RAS" Furlong and Colin Cunningham except for the song "Top Of The World", which is helmed by Jason Evigan. 2

PRIMAL FEAR Bassist Working On New SINNER Album, New VOODOO CIRCLE Single To Be Released SoonPrimal Fear bassist Mat Sinner, who is a member of bandmate Alex Beyrodt's Voodoo Circle and fronts his own band, Sinner, has checked in with the following update:
"Already October 2nd and regular shows are still pure speculation. Well, enough rocking these days with the new Primal Fear release and video including a huge surprise! Writing some heavy stuff at the moment with Tom Naumann (guitars) for Sinner, and we're finishing the last couple of files for the new Voodoo Circle album today, with the first single release just around the corner!"
Primal Fear recently released their highly anticipated 13th studio album, Metal Commando, which has entered the charts worldwide, achieving their highest entries ever and six Top 10 positions; including #7 in Germany, #6 in Switzerland and #4 in the UK Rock charts. Today, the band release a new video for the new single "The Lost & The Forgotten".
Mat Sinner comments: "'The Lost & The Forgotten' follows the Primal Fear tradition for example our songs 'The End Is Near' or 'Hounds Of Justice' of the last albums, and shows the more brutal, modern side of the band, which will be a very strong contender for the forthcoming live shows. Thanks to the team for their fantastic hard work to realize our vision of the song, especially Markus Staiger, Bodo Hayen and Ubikmedia!"
The title of the album is self-explainatory - Metal Commando contains 110% Primal Fear and is full to the brim with their signature power and energy.
In celebration of the release, the band issued the new single and video "Hear Me Calling". Watch the clip below.
Bassist Matt Sinner comments: "The special thing about 'Hear Me Calling' is, that we are combining the vibes of the first PF albums with the new Primnal Fear of 2020. It's great, because Tom (Naumann) was a part of the song-writing and the basis of the song was made in my studio. Ralf (Scheepers) made the lyrics, perfectly interpreting all the emotions and with a really strong chorus. Far away from home, in a shady plane somewhere between Peru and Bolivia, thinking about home... a strong combination of powerful guitar riffs, awesome melodies, groove and a great hook!"
Metal Commando was produced by Mat Sinner and mixed by Jacob Hansen - an experienced dream-team. The album will contain 11 tracks.
Tracklisting:
“I Am Alive”
“Along Came The Devil”
“Halo”

Former CHILDREN OF BODOM Drummer JASKA RAATIKAINEN Joins New Band MERCURY CIRCLEDrummer Jaska Raatikainen, best known for his time behind the kit with Children Of Bodom, has updated fans on his current activities:
"Hello everybody, hope you are all good. Busy times here, but now it’s time for an update and I am happy to say that something’s cooking with the new band scene. As some you might know, I recently joined a new band called Mercury Circle. The band’s musical style is quite different from Bodom, and I’m really excited about the upcoming album. I wanted to share with you a little bit about the process of making it, so here it goes.
Preparing an album with Bodom was always quite disciplined: we arranged, practiced and fine-tuned the songs months before the studio, and the actual recording was quite straightforward from my point of view. Recording the drums took about a week. With Mercury Circle the whole thing was from another planet. I came familiar with the songs only about a month before, and the style was new to me too. I first listened the raw material very intensively and then started to practice, 2-3 hours per day for 2-3 weeks. It was a very naked feeling to go to studio because the way of working was so different from what I was used to, but at the same time it was very creative. Some of the best ideas came to me only a few days before we started and tons of creative work was done in the studio. Also, this time the studio time was only two days, including setting up the kit and sound check, etc.
Our vocalist and songwriter Jaani had a somewhat clear vision of the album, but he was open to all ideas and you could say that the outcome is a result of dialogue, throwing ideas, repeating and experimenting. A very 'go for it' attitude all the way. I spent around two hours recording one song, which was a breathtaking speed considering most of the arrangements were made on the go. Stressful, but extremely rewarding experience. I had to put all my skills and experience to the game, and actually learn very fast in the process. Some of the songs require powerful, slow and quite silent drum sounds, and that’s not exactly the case with the previous material I have recorded. We wanted to get everything out of the drums, and had a very percussionistic approach to the sounds (more on that later). I also got to record some linear drumming, something I have been waiting for a long time.
The work continues for some time with recording the other instruments, vocals and mixing it all together. Release date will be early next year. Meanwhile, mixed activities with some construction efforts, other band hobbies, and whatnot.
Take care,
Jaska"

MEGADETH Guitarist KIKO LOUREIRO - "Imminent Threat" Playthrough VideoIn the video below, Megadeth guitarist Kiko Loureiro can be seen performing a playthrough clip for his new song, "Imminent Threat":
"Imminent Thrreat" appears on Kiko Loureiro's new solo album, Open Source. Order your copy here, and find a full audio stream below.
A recent message from Kiko states: "By definition, 'open source' is related to softwares which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. It brings us a higher sense of community, enhances our creativity and creates new possibilities. So why not take this concept to our art, our music? How much richer a song could be if others had access to its source code? What if the song's original composition wasn't the final product? What if it was just the beginning? Something that could be constantly updated and evolve over time. And as well as a machine, we as humans are also minded to enhancements, being an open source ourselves, constantly moving and growing, through technology, science, spirituality… and art. This is the mindset which I bring now to my fifth solo album, that was named... guess what? OPEN SOURCE!"

BRAVE THE COLD Feat. NAPALM DEATH's MITCH HARRIS And MEGADETH's DIRK VERBEUREN: 'Blind Eye' Music VideoBRAVE THE COLD, the new project led by longtime NAPALM DEATH axeman Mitch Harris, has released the music video for its second single, "Blind Eye". The track is taken from BRAVE THE COLD's debut album, "Scarcity", which is being released today (Friday, October 2) on all digital outlets worldwide via Mission Two Entertainment. Limited-edition, colored vinyl and CDs will be available December 11. The album was produced by Logan Mader (MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY).
"We're all excited about BRAVE THE COLD's 'Scarcity' digital release today!" exclaims Harris on the debut of his new album. "To kick it all off, we have a cutting-edge video courtesy of legendary Polish director Marek Skrobecki."
"Blind Eye" and its Gregorian chants kicks off "Scarcity" as the album itself can be described as a "precursor to prophecy."
Fronted by Harris and rounded out by MEGADETH drummer Dirk Verbeuren, BRAVE THE COLD is a two-piece formed in 2018 as the two metal conglomerates focus their energies into a new level of aggression. The culmination is "Scarcity", an eleven-track collection of ferociousness breathing much-needed life into the heavy metal scene of 2020. The disc was produced by the Logan Mader, who has previously worked with GOJIRA, FEAR FACTORY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY and W.A.S.P., among others.
BRAVE THE COLD's glitchy, byzantine death metal doesn't just shift gears — it whips, stutters and jumps sideways into heavyweight dimensions. The entire "Scarcity" theme is a well-researched, scenic debate combining dystopian views ranging from anti-elite, anti-media, anti-division, anti-oppression, end of days philosophies, post-apocalyptic poetry, mind control, economic instability, educational infiltration and global political deceit that compromises our spirituality of one collective voice. This is a global agenda that was a long time coming. It's a reflection on how government can create urgency out of necessity.
Harris has been taking a leave of absence from NAPALM DEATH since late 2014 to focus on his family life.

WAYLAND Releases “No More” - The Official Anthem For Survivors Of Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence & Human TraffickingMichigan Rockers, Wayland, have released their brand new single “No More" via Fearlyss Entertainment.
Written by Phillip Vilenski and Mitchel Arnold of the band, along with Michael Gurley, (Dada, Billy Boy On Poison) and Jude Cole, (Lifehouse), Gurley co-produced the track alongside Shane Soloski at Audioshire Studios (Brian Wilson, Five For Fighting). It was mixed by Florian Ammon (Rammstein, U2) and mastered by Dave Collins (Alice In Chains, Metallica). The band was joined by Eliza James Stevie Wonder, Disturbed) who played the live string arrangement and Kenley Shea (Kelly Clarkson, Alice In Chains) who sang backing vocals. This song is an anthem for survivors of human trafficking, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
Michael Gurley brought the unfinished song in a co-writing session to the band in 2014 and after completing the track, the band began playing it on the road to an unexpected and overwhelming crowd reaction. The band had no idea so many listeners had lived the very story they were telling. The first meeting band manager Alyssa Hoffman took on their behalf was with Rock Against Trafficking three years later in a full circle moment.
The band began selling tshirts on the road with 100% of profits benefiting the organization, co-produced the anti-human trafficking film, Unseen in 2019 with Mother & Daughter Entertainment and played the annual gala for survivors for nonprofit and international organization Forever Found. The band aligned itself over the past three years with additional organizations including Operation Underground Railroad, Destiny Rescue, Unseen, and an organization by the same name, No More in an effort to reach as many ears and hearts as possible to share the important message behind the song that releases in perfect timing right now.
Phillip Vilenski says, “The song’s 'soul' purpose is to bring awareness and shed light onto the darkest darkness there is, which is sexual abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking. When we first wrote the song we didn’t have a personal connection to any of the events we were singing about, but after learning and listening first hand to accounts from survivors, we offered the most powerful thing we have directly from our hearts, and that’s the music.”

Wayland is a six time charting rock band hailing from a town of the same name in Michigan. Starting off by touring the world with performance group, The Young Americans teaching children music, their understanding that music is medicine has been their dharma ever since. Wayland toured three hundred days per year for eight years shaking every hand of every individual Wayland Warrior they made along the way, instilling their midwestern work ethic and sense of gratitude in everything they did. Wayland’s mission is to administer the very medicine that is their music dose by dose, town by town, every night they can.

ACE FREHLEY Tried To Get PETER CRISS To Guest On 'Origins Vol. 2' AlbumAce Frehley says that he tried unsuccessfully to get his former KISS bandmate Peter Criss to appear on "Origins Vol. 2", the sequel to Ace's 2016 collection of cover songs that inspired the ex-KISS guitarist.
Released on September 18 via eOne, "Origins Vol. 2", features cover versions of THE BEATLES' "I'm Down", DEEP PURPLE's "Space Truckin'", LED ZEPPELIN's "Good Times Bad Times", THE ROLLING STONES' "Jumpin' Jack Flash", THE KINKS' "Lola" and THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE's "Manic Depression", among others. A cover of the 1975 KISS tune "She" also appears as a bonus track. Guests on the set include CHEAP TRICK's Robin Zander, Lita Ford and former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.
Asked in a new interview with Meltdown of Detroit's WRIF radio station if there were any musicians he approached about appearing on "Origins Vol. 2" that he couldn't get, Ace said: "The only person I wanted to get on the record that I couldn't get was Peter Criss. He had injured his shoulder, and I wanted him to do at least one drum track, and he was more than willing to do it, but he didn't wanna do it unless he was a hundred percent, so maybe we'll get him on 'Origins Vol. 3', which we actually are planning in a couple of years to put out."
Frehley's latest collection of all-original material, "Spaceman" — a title suggested by KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons himself — features two songs the pair wrote together, and the duo completed a joint summer tour of Australia, after which Frehley fired his solo backing band and hired Simmons's. KISS frontman Paul Stanley, meanwhile, appeared on Frehley's previous studio album, the 2016 covers set "Origins Vol. 1".
Criss first left KISS in 1980. Since then he's worked with other bands and released solo albums. He teamed up with KISS again for a reunion tour in the 1990s and most recently in 2004. He was replaced by Eric Singer.
The four original members of KISS were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April 2014 by RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist Tom Morello.
KISS did not perform — the Hall Of Fame wanted the original quartet only to play, while Simmons and Stanley insisted on the current lineup — which also includes guitarist Tommy Thayer — performing as well. In the end nobody won that battle. 3

ANTHRAX's CHARLIE BENANTE Pokes Fun At TRUMP's Years Of Tax AvoidanceANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante has poked fun at Donald Trump over the revelation that America's 45th president allegedly used loopholes to avoid paying any federal taxes at all in 10 of 15 years beginning in 2000 by writing off his own losses.
A New York Times exposé of Trump's tax returns Sunday revealed Trump paid just $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017 each, and he took huge deductions — including $70,000 to take care of his hair — while also writing off hundreds of thousands of dollars paying his daughter Ivanka as a consultant to the Trump Organization.
On Sunday, Charlie took to his Twitter to write: "Over the past 15 years, Trump paid more for sex than he did in taxes. Just sayin . #taxesareforsuckers". The musician's comment was an apparent reference to the fact that Trump admitted in 2018 to reimbursing his lawyer for a $130,000 payment made on the eve of the 2016 election to porn actress Stormy Daniels as part of a settlement about her alleged 2006 sexual encounter with Trump.
When one of Benante's followers implored Charlie to stay out of politics, the drummer replied: "Calm down ! Nothing to do with politics, it's all about the rest of us paying OUR taxes and someone hasn't". Another follower wrote: "Stick to drumming, Chuck. Just sayin.", to which Benante responded: "Why? I thought that was funny and truthful".
In recent months, Benante has sent out multiple tweets that were critical of the Trump administration. In January, the drummer implied that Trump authorized the killing of Qasem Soleimani, the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Quds Force, to distract the public from his impeachment trial.
Back in November 2018, Benante told Ireland's Overdrive that he no longer shared his political views online because he didn't want to come under criticism from his fans. "I've stopped posting things about my own beliefs and political standpoint on things because of the bashing I think I'll take for it, and I don't think that's fair," he said. "I'm an American, I pay my taxes and all of this stuff affects me just as much as it affects the next person."

STEEL MOUNTAIN CROSSING Feat. Former QUIET RIOT Singer MARK HUFF To Release New EP TomorrowSteel Mountain Crossing featuring former Quiet Riot vocalist Mark Huff and Dennis DiNunzio (Tiger Claws) will release its new EP, Roads To Riot tomorrow, October 1 via Dragon City Demo. The EP will be available on Bandcamp the same day.
Exploding back into action for the first time since their debut 2019 release Gora Zima, Huff and DiNunzio have returned to claim their throne as some of the United States premier metal musicians.
The music sparks of energy and freshness from the experience they had jamming together. Roads To Riot is the manifestation of their commitment to music and the start of everlasting life for some of their favorite Quiet Riot songs.
DiNunzio states: "Mark is a great singer and we are in it for the long run, for sure. Our goal was for Roads To Riot to capture the spontaneous energy of our songs and Quiet Riot songs. I followed the band through various incantations over the years, and when the chance to work with Mark unexpectedly presented itself, needless to say, I didn’t have to mull it over. Things naturally fell into place and the result speaks for itself.”
The new album gives the band a chance to play their favorite songs so near and dear to their hearts and when they do things can get incendiary. Roads To Riot features new single “Forever" with timeless classics from Randy Rhoads and Kevin Dubrow.
Recorded at Cheap Mikes in NY, Roads To Riot was produced by Jason Futterman Huff and DiNunzio ensuring that this crushing EP has street credentials to spare.

Exclusive: DAMN YOUR EYES Return With “Heavy Is The Head” SingleNew York-based metal band Damn Your Eyes has returned with a vengeance, sporting a new lineup and an even heavier approach on their brand new single, “Heavy Is The Head.” Check out the new single, premiered through BraveWords, below!
“‘Heavy Is The Head’ is a song that deals with people that think they are top dog,” explains guitarist Artie Alexander. “The narcissistic idea that they can do whatever or say whatever they want about people without receiving any backlash. Be careful what you say about people, especially people that haven’t done anyone wrong but know about all the horrible things you have said and done.”
Formed in 2015 by Artie Alexander and former drummer James Baldassano, Damn Your Eyes immediately hit the ground running. As respected musicians in their local scene with extensive recording experience, the band quickly recorded an EP, released it to local acclaim, and rapidly returned to the studio to record their upcoming international full-length debut, Kill The Outside in 2019. But as the band was building a following, it seemed to its members that there were some missing pieces to the Damn Your Eyes puzzle.
“We needed players that could boost the energy and technical growth of Damn Your Eyes,” Alexander says. “We were kicking around the idea of adding another guitarist for some time, but this band is a family unit and you just can’t bring people in that are good, it needs to be right on every level.”
Enter former Cro-Mags guitarist Gabriel “Gabby” Abularach, who played on the Alpha Omega and In The Beginning releases. “I always though Gabby’s style was better suited for metal than hardcore,” says Alexander. “He’s so well versed and a pure monster as a player. I always told the guys that if we added another guitarist, I would want it to be Gabby.” Alexander’s wish came true when the two met for dinner one night and he discovered that Abularach was planning to leave his band. “On the spot, I asked if he would be interested in playing with Damn Your Eyes. He really liked our music, so he joined us right there in a Mexican restaurant! What a difference and a pleasure his presence in Damn Your Eyes is.”
After searching for a new drummer to complete this powerhouse, Darren Markoff, 24-year veteran of Long Island metal band Korotory stepped in to complete the puzzle. “Darren is exactly what this band needed on so many levels,” Alexander says. “His style is in lockstep with what we are trying to do and is an outstanding individual. We needed someone with the technical ability that also had the groove that is the backbone of this band.”
Damn Your Eyes entered the studio with this bone-crushing new lineup in July to record several new tracks, which will be released individual over the coming months. Consider “Heavy Is The Head” as a warning of things to come from Damn Your Eyes!

HATEBREED - 40 Breakdowns In 30 Days; New Weight Of The False Self Album Trailer Streaming (Video)Hatebreed are set to release their eighth studio album, Weight Of The False Self, on November 27 via Nuclear Blast. The 12-track album is stacked with pit-starting anthems and is available for pre-order here.
In this new video trailer, Jamey Jasta and Wayne Lozinak discuss writing 40 breakdowns in 30 days for the new album:
Weight Of The False Self was produced by frequent Hatebreed collaborator Zeuss and it arrives on the heels of Hatebreed's sold-out 2019 anniversary shows and the unprecedented success of 2016's The Concrete Confessional. Not only did the latter rack up over 42 million Spotify streams, but the single, "Looking Down The Barrel Of Today" also clocked over 30 million Spotify streams.
Renowned for their ability to provide an intense, cathartic release for their fans, Hatebreed challenged themselves and their writing style in order to produce material that is exceptionally relatable in a contemporary world flooded with overstimulation, emotional dampening and lack of social patience.
"Weight Of The False Self is a perfect representation of Hatebreed in 2020, a fresh onslaught of soon-to-be classics with all the elements that led you here since day one," explains guitarist Frank Novinec. And drummer Matt Byrne shares, "There's no shortage of beefy riffs and adrenaline-fueled drums on this record. I'm proud to say that we will consistently provide a soundtrack to which you can mosh in your living room and destroy your apartment."
The album artwork was created by Eliran Kantor.
Tracklisting:
"Instinctive (Slaughterlust)"
"Let Them All Rot"
"Set It Right (Start With Yourself)"
"Weight Of The False Self"
"Cling to Life"
"A Stroke of Red"
"Dig Your Way Out"
"This I Earned"
"Wings of The Vulture"
"The Herd Will Scatter"
"From Gold to Gray"
"Invoking Dominance"
"Weight Of The False Self" lyric video:

Chris Beattie - Bass
Frank Novinec - Guitars
Wayne Lozinak - Guitars
