SPIRITWORLD Unveil 'Death Western' Video For "The Bringer Of Light"

SPIRITWORLD Unveil 'Death Western' Video For "The Bringer Of Light"

The American frontier: Where lost highways stretch into darkness and undisturbed deserts speak a language as ominous as it is otherworldly. This is the tableau of SpiritWorld. Self-described as 'Death Western', Spiritworld is the aural vision of Stu Folsom, a Las Vegas native who has taken the intensity of that desert heat and given it voice on the band’s debut, Pagan Rhythms, for their new label home, Century Media.

Today, the band has shared another offering from the LP, in the form of a new music video for "The Bringer Of Light", which you can watch below.

Speaking about the new video, Folsom comments: "The film for 'The Bringer Of Light' has been a long time in the making. The director, Todd Hailstone, and I met in high school. He roadied on my first band's first tour and we lived together at the infamous Hammer Lane junkyard squat when we were young, dirt poor and wild as fuck. It was incredible to reconnect artistically after all these years and hand the reins over to someone that I have spent hours punishing with my plans for the fiction and film sides of the SpiritWorld project."

window._taboola = window._taboola || [];
_taboola.push({
mode: 'alternating-rec-reel-3n4-a',
container: 'taboola-mid-article-thumbnails',
placement: 'Mid Article Thumbnails',
target_type: 'mix'
});

Stu adds, "I asked Todd to come up with a treatment that would introduce the world to the characters of [my book] Godlessness and Pagan Rhythms, on a budget that should barely cover another tired 'band in warehouse headbanging' video, and he was able to completely nail the John Ford meets 70's horror vibe anyway!!!! I am so thankful to all of the talented actors and crew that helped create this video, it turned out super cool and I can't wait for people to check it out!"

Conceived entirely by Folsom and produced by Sam Pura (The Story So Far, Self Defense Family), songs like "Comancheria" or the blast-beat propelled "Unholy Passages", courtesy of drummer Thomas Pridgen (The Mars Volta/Trash Talk) who plays on half the album, with ex-Apiary skinsman Adam Elliot playing on the other.

“It’s about trying to write killer songs and craft a classic record,” says Stu, whose love for the likes of George Jones or the legendary LA punk band X runs as deep as his metallic roots. “With ‘Pagan Rhythms’, I set out to distill my love of thrash, old school death metal, and hardcore into something new that would hit like a tomahawk right in the face. When I first started telling people about this idea, I had to merge Western imagery, horror fiction and heavy metal into an all-out sonic assault, it seemed ridiculous, but I truly believe that if you make great records people are a lot more willing to embrace your weirdness and come along for the ride."

The debut album, Pagan Rhythms, will be re-released on November 5 via Century Media Records and is now available (physically) for the first time outside of North America.

The album is available to stream on your platform of choice and is available in the following formats for pre-order:

- Ltd. 180g black LP + Art Print (with alternative cover artwork) - this format is only available for the 1st pressing.
- Ltd. Edition apple red LP + Art Print (with alternative cover artwork) - this format is only available for the 1st pressing. Expected to ship Spring 2022.

MINISTRY's AL JOURGENSEN Urges 'Knuckleheads' To 'Do What's Right' And 'Get Their Vaccines'

MINISTRY's AL JOURGENSEN Urges 'Knuckleheads' To 'Do What's Right' And 'Get Their Vaccines'

Last month, it was announced that MINISTRY's upcoming tour — most recently scheduled to kick off in October — had been moved to March and April 2022. THE MELVINS and CORROSION OF CONFORMITY will now appear on all show dates as the tour's special guests.

Each show date will celebrate 30 years of MINISTRY's landmark album "The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste" as well as debut songs from the band's 15th studio LP, "Moral Hygiene", which came out October 1 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Speaking about MINISTRY's decision to postpone the tour, mainman Al Jourgensen told SPIN: "It's still not safe [to go on the road] until these fucking knuckleheads do what's right so society can function and get their fucking vaccines. There are some states on that tour where there's less than 50% vaccination rates. [Travelling on a tour bus], you're literally on a 45-foot-long petri dish. You have 12 people with an average of three feet of personal space in an enclosed chamber, breathing all the same stuff. While at the same time being exposed to thousands of people nightly and their droplets. It's a recipe for disaster and nobody felt fucking safe. So hopefully by March we will be at herd immunity."

"Moral Hygiene" was recorded with engineer Michael Rozon (also behind the boards on "AmeriKKKant") at Scheisse Dog Studio, Jourgensen's self-built home studio and creative lab. As with all MINISTRY albums, all songs are written and performed by Jourgensen. Additional contributions come from Billy Morrison (BILLY IDOL, ROYAL MACHINES), Cesar Soto (MAN THE MUTE), John Bechdel (KILLING JOKE, FEAR FACTORY), Roy Mayorga (STONE SOUR, SOULFLY, NAUSEA), Paul D'Amour (TOOL, FEERSUM ENNJIN), Arabian Prince (N.W.A.), Jello Biafra (DEAD KENNEDYS) and sitar player Flash.

The album's first single, "Good Trouble", was released in early July. The song, inspired by the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests and the activist work of the late congressman John Lewis, was accompanied by a video that includes sampling from last year's demonstrations in Los Angeles as captured by Jourgensen and his partner Liz Walton.

Jourgensen told Australia's Heavy about the "Moral Hygiene" musical direction: "Same old stuff. Just a progression of the MINISTRY sound that's been refined for the last 30 [or] 40 years. And I think we hit a good one this time. There's a couple that I wish I could have back, and there's a couple that I'm really gung-ho about. But this one's in the 'gung-ho' category. This one makes a lot of sense for the times that we're living in."

As for the lyrical themes covered on "Moral Hygiene", Jourgensen said: "We cover everything — from the actual pandemic to climate change to the political climate now. And I don't mean so much the politicians as much as the rise of fascist tendencies all over the world and in various countries. And a lot of life topics like th

CARMINE APPICE: 'Nobody Knows If The Vaccination Is Really A Vaccination Or Something To Kill Everybody'

CARMINE APPICE: 'Nobody Knows If The Vaccination Is Really A Vaccination Or Something To Kill Everybody'

In a new interview with Rocking With Jam Man, legendary drummer Carmine Appice was asked if he ever thought anything as crazy as the coronavirus lockdown and the pandemic would happen during his lifetime. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "No. I think it's all political. But we won't get into that. It went to the election. I think it was all planned. But anyway, we won't get into that."

Asked if he enjoyed having a break from playing shows during the pandemic, the 74-year-old musician said: "No. I made do of it. But I didn't enjoy it. I would have rather been playing gigs. I used to do 60 gigs a year, and last year I did four. This year [I will end up playing] maybe 18, if they all happen. We still don't know. Like when we did me and my brother's gig, we had one gig in the middle that was blown out because of COVID. So, hopefully they won't be blown out, and everybody's getting vaccinated. And nobody even knows if the vaccination is really a vaccination or something to kill everybody.

"I had to get vaccinated to travel," he revealed. "But it's crazy; it's all crazy. This is the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. In all my years, I've never seen anything this crazy."

Dr. Arturo Casadevall, chair of molecular microbiology and immunology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, told CNBC that COVID-19 vaccines "are extremely safe," noting that the risks of the side effects from the vaccines are significantly lower than the health risks posed by the virus. "COVID, on the other hand, is deadly, unpredictable."

COVID-19 vaccines have been studied in humans for more than a year now, and more than 185 million people have been fully vaccinated in the United States alone. There are several robust safety monitoring systems in place for these vaccines that can detect the very rare adverse events.

Fully vaccinated people are 29 times less likely to be hospitalized because of the virus compared to those are unvaccinated, according to a study released by the CDC.

Research shows that fully vaccinated people experience milder symptoms and are half as likely to develop several symptoms in the first week of illness compared to unvaccinated people.

Appice is the original drummer of VANILLA FUDGE, with whom he still records and performs today. He has also played with CACTUS and BECK, BOGERT & APPICE, in addition to spending stints in the bands of Ozzy Osbourne and Rod Stewart, co-writing the latter's No. 1 hit "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" Carmine was named the 28th greatest drummer of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

Appice is widely considered to be one of the most accomplished showmen in rock and is the recipient of numerous awards, including dozens of gold- and platinum-selling records. Carmine has broken new ground in every aspect of his career as a performer, as a teacher, and as a writer, and he continues to inspire drummers and listeners throughout the world with his originality and his unwavering dedication to the art of drumming.

Carmine's autobiography, "Stick It!: My Life Of Sex, Drums, And Rock 'N' Roll", was released in May 2016 by Chicago Review Press.

Under the moniker APPICE, Carmine and his brother Vinny released "Sinister", their first joint studio album, in October 2017 through SPV/Steamhammer.

KIX Drummer JIMMY 'CHOCOLATE' CHALFANT Recovering From Heart Attack

KIX Drummer JIMMY 'CHOCOLATE' CHALFANT Recovering From Heart Attack

KIX drummer Jimmy "Chocolate" Chalfant suffered a heart attack at his home on the evening of Wednesday, September 29 and was rushed to the hospital. He had immediate surgery to insert two stents in his heart then another surgery the next day for another stent. Good news is he is feeling way better, has been discharged from the hospital and is doing well resting at home. However, he may have a bit of a road in front of him for cardiac rehab to allow him to make a safe and full recovery.

KIX remains committed to playing all shows that are currently booked. The band states: "We want to stress that NO shows are being cancelled or postponed. We are committed to fulfilling ALL of our contractual obligations. With Jimmy's blessing, we would like to announce that Will Hunt (EVANESCENCE, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, SLAUGHTER) will be taking over drum duties for the upcoming Monsters On The Mountain in Pigeon Forge TN on October 15th. Will is excited to perform with KIX and we are lucky to have such a seasoned veteran able to step in last minute. For all other shows post Monsters On The Mountain, we would like to announce that our good friend John Allen (STONE HORSES, CHILD'S PLAY, SR-71) will be sitting in on drums until Jimmy is able to play again.

"Jimmy asks that the fans throw their full support behind our temporary drummers. He is fully dedicated to improving his health and he intends to be back on his throne in his rightful place as soon as physically possible."

KIX was founded in 1977 and released its first, self-titled album on Atlantic Records nearly 40 years ago. Their breakthrough came with 1988's "Blow My Fuse", which sold nearly a million copies, thanks to "Don't Close Your Eyes". The band continued to ride the hard-rock wave until 1995, when KIX took a hiatus. Nearly 10 years later, KIX reunited and started touring regionally. A 2008 performance at the Rocklahoma festival led to more gigs and the release of a live DVD/CD called "Live In Baltimore" in 2012.

In 2014, KIX released its seventh full-length album, "Rock Your Face Off" (Loud & Proud Records), the band's first studio effort since 1995's "Show Business".

KIX guitarist Ronnie Younkins is currently unable to tour with the band because he has been placed under house arrest after repeatedly getting in trouble with the police. He is being temporarily replaced by Bob Paré, an accomplished musician who studied at the Music Institute in Los Angeles and taught music theory and guitar at several institutions, including Western Maryland College and Maryland Institute of Music.

JEFF SCOTT SOTO Says His Collaboration With DAVID ELLEFSON Is 'On Hold' In Wake Of Sex Video Scandal

JEFF SCOTT SOTO Says His Collaboration With DAVID ELLEFSON Is 'On Hold' In Wake Of Sex Video Scandal

Jeff Scott Soto says that his project with David Ellefson is "on hold" while the former MEGADETH bassist is working through the fallout from his sex video scandal.

This past March, Soto and Ellefson announced that they had been collaborating on some new material under the moniker ELLEFSON-SOTO. The ELLEFSON-SOTO version of the RIOT classic "Swords & Tequila" was simultaneously released across all digital streaming outlets via Ellefson's Combat Records.

Asked in a new interview with Dr. Music if the rest of the material he recorded with Ellefson will eventually see the light of day, Soto said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I'm hoping it will at some point. I've given David, as many people have, the space and the time to kind of deal with his own things.

"We were full-on getting that thing ready to bounce and to drop, et cetera, and, obviously, things were put on hold for that reason," he explained. "And it's just better for things to just kind of go away and kind of calm down, because we don't need the kind of press that comes with it, especially the comments [from] the Internet cowboys out there. Let it go away, let it just kind of slip under the rug, and I'm sure that stuff is gonna resurface. And the idea of it will resurface and get us out there… I'm sure we'll revisit it when the time is right."

Five months ago, Ellefson was fired from MEGADETH after sexually explicit photos and video of the bassist leaked online along with allegations that he had been grooming a fan, which he vehemently denied. A short time after after the messages and video footage involving him were posted on Twitter, Ellefson filed a report with the police department in Scottsdale, Arizona alleging unlawful distribution of sexually explicit images of him by unknown offenders. In the report, Ellefson admitted that he had been exchanging sexual text messages with a Dutch teenager, who captured a video of several of their virtual "masturbating encounters" without his consent and shared them with friends. (According to Ellefson, the woman was 19 at the time of their first virtual sexual encounter.) Ellefson, who lives in Scottsdale, first became aware of the video on May 9, when the claim "David Ellefson of MEGADETH is a pedophile" appeared on Instagram. Ellefson told police he was notified on May 14 by MEGADETH that the band would be parting ways with him. Three days later, he was fired.

When Ellefson's collaboration with Soto was first announced, David said in a statement: "Jeff and I have been friends for so many years that it's great to finally collaborate on some material together. He has such a distinctive voice and perfect style for some new ideas my guitarist Andy Martongelli and I have been composing. We are excited about the progress of it all and thought this would be a perfect time to give a little sneak preview."

At the time, Jeff added: "As COVID-19 became a big negative around the globe, it actually offered many artists a chance to finally collaborate with one another that might have never happened otherwise… As I have known David for many years, I knew from our other efforts outside of our day jobs that we could come up with some badass jams…and here we are, letting you in on our cool little secret."

Jack Frost's BROTHERS IN ARMS Premier Lyric Video For "The City Never Sleeps" Feat. FM, DIAMOND HEAD, HARDLINE Members

Jack Frost's BROTHERS IN ARMS Premier Lyric Video For "The City Never Sleeps" Feat. FM, DIAMOND HEAD, HARDLINE Members

Brothers In Arms is the brainchild of guitarist/composer Jack Frost (Savatage, Seven Witches, Lizzy Borden), who along with several recruited iconic rock brothers, has made it his mission to prove rock music will never die. The guys unified to take a stand against the doubters and cynics who have claimed that it's simply not possible to resurrect this celebrated music in which so many lasting and fond memories were built around. Banding together, Jack & the Brothers forged ahead with one main goal: To make quality music that would both represent and immortalize the days of the sold-out legendary rock venues, to show the world that rock is not just a thing of the past.

Brothers In Arms just released a lyric video for “The City Never Sleeps” and features Jack along with vocalist Steve Overland (FM, pictured above), drummer Karl Wilcox (Diamond Head), and bassist Alex Jansen (Hardline).

Jack had this to say about working with Steve, “Wow City Wow. Being a child of arena rock I always lent my ear to bands like Kansas, Styx, Journey, REO, Shadow King, yes Shadow King, and then I saw a video for 'That Girl' from this UK band FM, and I was blown away by a Steve's vocal range, melodic feel and his choice for notes on guitar. I always wanted to do a track with all those elements and when Steve agreed to writing the track with me, all my prayers were answered. I love this tune, totally takes me back to a time of when Miami Vice was on TV and when arenas around the world where packed singing each phrase of the songs. Please do yourself a favor check out Steve's work he's a master and a great guy. He just nailed it on this song. What a pro and such a nice guy to work with.”

MOTÖRHEAD's Cover Of DAVID BOWIE's 'Heroes' Surpasses 50 Million Views On YouTube

MOTÖRHEAD's Cover Of DAVID BOWIE's 'Heroes' Surpasses 50 Million Views On YouTube

MOTÖRHEAD's cover of the song "Heroes" has surpassed 50 million views on the band's YouTube channel. The David Bowie track was one of MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy's favorites.

MOTÖRHEAD's version of "Heroes" originally appeared on the compilation album "Under Cöver" — a collection of some of the band's best covers — which was released in September 2017.

Laid down during the "Bad Magic" sessions in 2015 by Cameron Webb, "Heroes" was one of the last songs MOTÖRHEAD recorded together.

"It's such a great Bowie song, one of his best, and I could only see great things coming out of it from us, and so it proved to be," says Phil Campbell, "and Lemmy ended up loving our version."

"He was very, very proud of it," says Mikkey Dee, "not only because it turned out so well but because it was fun! Which is what projects like this should be — fun!"

MOTÖRHEAD's cover version of "Heroes" was released as a seven-inch picture disc on Record Store Day in April 2018. The single's art was a new "sketch" take on the classic war-pig. The flip-side was "Heroes (The Wacken Family Choir Mix)" with previously unheard audio of the crowd at 2017's Wacken Open Air festival singing along to the single as it was officially launched via the festival P.A.

BMG has set an October 29 release date for a new career-spanning MOTÖRHEAD set, titled "Everything Louder Forever - The Very Best Of". The definitive collection will be available on 2CD, 2LP and 4LP. The 2CD digipak and 4LP fold out sets will feature 42 tracks, including "Ace Of Spades", "Killed By Death", "Overkill", "I'm So Bad (Baby I Don't Care)", "The Game" and many more. The 2LP set will include 22 tracks in a gatefold package.

MOTÖRHEAD are the true embodiment of rock 'n' roll excess. A hybrid of rock, punk and heavy metal played with relentless, ear-curdling power, they were a force of nature and nothing short of life-changing for millions. As for their approach to life and music, there was no "off" switch, and they became legends as a result.

Fronted for the entirety of their career by Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, they released 22 studio albums over their 40 years together, amassing chart-topping records, a Grammy Award and racking up 15 million worldwide sales. Their signature song "Ace Of Spades" perfectly captured everything great about hard rock, heavy metal, and punk, amped it all up to 11, and came racing out of the gates at what felt like a million miles an hour, pushing at every musical boundary. Nothing was harder, nothing was faster and certainly nothing was louder. Anyone disputing this fact need look no further than any heavy metal gig and play "spot the MOTÖRHEAD T-shirt and jacket." MOTÖRHEAD fans still outnumber anyone else, hands down.

MOTÖRHEAD has truly become a lifestyle for several generations of rockers, metalheads, punks, bikers, athletes, rebels, outcasts, and freethinkers all around the world. Few bands in modern history can instantly ignite the adrenaline of music fans the way they can. They changed the course of hard rock...forever.

JUDAS PRIEST's RICHIE FAULKNER On Setlist For '50 Heavy Metal Years' Tour: 'The Reaction We're Getting Has Been Really Positive'

JUDAS PRIEST's RICHIE FAULKNER On Setlist For '50 Heavy Metal Years' Tour: 'The Reaction We're Getting Has Been Really Positive'

JUDAS PRIEST guitarist Richie Faulkner spoke to Lana Morgan of the 102.9 The Hog radio station about the setlist for the band's first pandemic-era tour, the rescheduled "50 Heavy Metal Years" North American trek, which kicked off on September 8 at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania.

As was the case with their appearance at the Bloodstock Open Air festival in August, the British heavy metal legends, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary, threw in several rarely played songs in their set, including "One Shot At Glory" and "Invader", as well as several tracks that hadn't been played in a long time, such as "Rocka Rolla", "Exciter", "Hell Patrol", "A Touch Of Evil" and "Blood Red Skies".

"It's always a challenge, going into a new tour, to put a setlist together," Richie said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). "They've got, like, a million songs. You're always gonna miss out on someone's favorite. But you've gotta put something together that's dynamic, it flows, it has good peaks and troughs and tension and drama — and you put a setlist together like that — and you've also gotta hit on the old songs and new songs, all that sort of stuff. So we've put together what we think is the most dynamic and exciting and dramatic set. And it seems to be going down really well. And as we move on into the tour, if we come back to the States or we do different markets around the world, we're not opposed to putting new songs in there — different songs, I should say. We could re-evaluate the setlist a bit and make it a bit more exciting, change it up.

"The reaction we're getting to the setlist at the moment has been really positive, and it's got some really surprising tracks in there — some that the band hasn't played in a long time and some that the band has never played live at all up until this point," he continued. "So, as a fan myself, it's great to be out there playing these songs and experiencing the band playing these songs for the first time in some cases."

On October 15, JUDAS PRIEST will release "50 Heavy Metal Years Of Music", a mammoth limited-edition box set which will include every official live and studio album to date plus 13 unreleased discs. This is the most extensive release of previously unreleased music the band has made from its vast archives — a real treat for fans. Restored and mixed by Tom Allom at La Cucina W8 and mastered by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios, this special release will be made available via Sony Music.

In early April, JUDAS PRIEST's European tour, which was scheduled to kick off in late May, was once again postponed due to "ongoing COVID-19 vaccine issues." The trek will now run from May 27, 2022 in Moscow, Russia until July 31, 2022 in Oberhausen, Germany.

JOHN BUSH Revisits His Time With ANTHRAX During METAL ALLEGIANCE's Long Island Concert (Video)

JOHN BUSH Revisits His Time With ANTHRAX During METAL ALLEGIANCE's Long Island Concert (Video)

This past Saturday (September 25), METAL ALLEGIANCE reassembled and hit the stage for the first time in nearly two years on Long Island, New York — where METAL ALLEGIANCE began back in 2014 — at Stereo Garden in Patchogue, New York (their first show since before COVID-19). The night featured music from METAL ALLEGIANCE's self-titled album, "Fallen Heroes" EP and "Volume II - Power Drunk Majesty", as well as a special set of covers picked just for this show.

In METAL ALLEGIANCE fashion, an all-star lineup performed in Patchogue, including core members Mike Portnoy (ex-DREAM THEATER), Mark Menghi and Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT) as well as Phil Demmel (VIO-LENCE, ex-MACHINE HEAD), Mark Osegueda (DEATH ANGEL) and John Bush (ARMORED SAINT, ex-ANTHRAX).

METAL ALLEGIANCE's setlist was as follows:

01. Can't Kill The Devil

02. Leper Messiah (METALLICA cover)

03. Fast As A Shark (ACCEPT cover)

04. The Accuser

05. Bound By Silence

06. What Doesn't Die (ANTHRAX cover)

07. Power Drunk Majesty (Part I)

08. Power Drunk Majesty (Part II)

09. Dying Song

10. Iron Fist (MOTÖRHEAD cover)

11. Mandatory Suicide (SLAYER cover)

12. Symptom Of The Universe (BLACK SABBATH cover)

13. Murders In The Rue Morgue (IRON MAIDEN cover)

14. Lights Out (UFO cover)

15. Room For One More (ANTHRAX cover)

16. Only (ANTHRAX cover)

17. Pledge Of Allegiance

Encore:

18. Tear It Loose (TWISTED SISTER cover) (with Mark Mendoza)

19. Whole Lotta Rosie (AC/DC cover)

20. Cold Gin (KISS cover)

This past July, Bush told Pierre Gutierrez about the possibility of embarking on a special tour during which he would perform material from his time as the singer of ANTHRAX: "Some ideas are being explored right now regarding doing it in some capacity. So we're just trying to figure out the right scenario to make it happen. But it's becoming a very good possibility."

Bush also once again said he wanted former ANTHRAX guitarist Paul Crook to be involved in the hypothetical ANTHRAX tour featuring material from his era of the band. "I love Paul," he said. "And we have been talking about some things. Once again, it's just whether or not all the situations kind of merge together and make it work. You've gotta kind of deal with all that logistics and stuff."

John continued: "For me, it would be a little bit [difficult to put together], only because I'm just really lazy. All I wanna do is kind of do the singing, and I don't wanna do all the nuts-and-bolts things about putting the band together and getting rehearsals and doing some of the business. That's the daunting part. If I could just go on stage and, like, 'Okay.' I have to learn those songs again too, if I do it. But there's all that stuff that is just a little bit different than just going out and singing. So, we'll see."

In September 2020, Bush told Canada's The Metal Voice that he first talked to his booking agent about the ANTHRAX tour idea "several years ago." He said: "We talked about it, and I think he sniffed around for some feelers to see what people would think. And I don't think we got the response that we really wanted to. It wasn't like we were looking for millions of dollars or anything, but we wanted to make it worthwhile to do it, and do the proper shows. It's not like something I wanna go out and do six months of touring with. It'd be fun to do some sporadic shows. I'd have to put a band together to do it. I'm probably a little lazy about that, quite honestly. But that's what would be involved in doing it. And I don't think we were pleased enough with the response that we tried to push it ahead and make it happen."

Bush went on to say that he was "caught by surprise" by ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian's comment that was not opposed to taking part in a special concert featuring most of the singers that have fronted the band over the course of its nearly four-decade existence. "I was, like, 'Wow. Okay.' And I thought that's a great idea. That would be really cool," Bush said. "I think that would be an amazing thing for the fanbase. But what I keep saying is that Joey Belladonna is the singer of ANTHRAX, and Joey should be the singer of ANTHRAX, as far as I'm concerned. And if this happens, it needs to have his approval, really, quite honestly. Because I wouldn't want him to feel like, 'Well, this is not my idea, and I don't wanna do this,' because he is the singer who'd be sharing the stage [with the rest of us], quite honestly. So I think it would be something that Joey would have to give endorsement to, for that to happen, if that's an idea. And again, I think it would be a fun thing to do a couple of handful of shows, sporadic stuff."

ANTHRAX has had a number of vocalists — including Bush, Belladonna, Neil Turbin and Dan Nelson — over the last 39 years, with Ian and drummer Charlie Benante remaining the sole bandmembers who have appeared on every one of the group's studio albums.

Turbin sang on ANTHRAX's debut LP, 1984's "Fistful Of Metal", before getting booted and being replaced by Belladonna. Belladonna performed on four ANTHRAX albums, including the fan favorite "Among The Living" (1987) before he himself was fired over creative and stylistic differences. Bush fronted ANTHRAX between 1992 and 2005 but was sidelined when the band reunited with Belladonna for a 20th-anniversary tour. When that collapsed, and relationships disintegrated with next frontman Nelson, Bush returned for a time before Belladonna took the job back in 2010.

GEOFF TATE Performs QUEENSRŸCHE's Entire 'Empire' And 'Rage For Order' Albums In Orlando (Video)

GEOFF TATE Performs QUEENSRŸCHE's Entire 'Empire' And 'Rage For Order' Albums In Orlando (Video)

Fan-filmed video footage of Geoff Tate's September 27 performance at Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida can be seen below.

The months ago, the former QUEENSRŸCHE singer announced rescheduled dates for the next European leg of his tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of "Empire" and "Rage For Order" albums.

1986's "Rage For Order" introduced a much more polished look and sound for QUEENSRŸCHE. The album featured keyboards as prominently as guitars, and the group adopted an image more closely associated with glam rock or glam metal than with heavy metal (of which glam metal was a subgenre). A video was filmed for the song "Gonna Get Close to You", originally recorded in 1984 by DALBELLO.

Released in 1990, "Empire" included the hit ballad "Silent Lucidity", which reached No. 9 on the Billboard singles chart, helped propel "Empire" to No. 7 on the album chart and earned two Grammy Award nominations.

Prior to the launch of the trek in early 2020, Tate told MisplacedStraws.com that he would take the "Empire 30th Anniversary Tour" to "as many countries as I can and playing the album in its entirety, which I've never done before. So that'll be real fun. In fact, I think there's some songs on that album that I've never, ever played live before, so it'll be a treat — for me, as well, I think, for the audience too," the former QUEENSRŸCHE singer said. "I'm really looking forward to that."

Tate told Eonmusic that one song from "Empire" that was rarely performed live is "Anybody Listening?" "When QUEENSRŸCHE was together, we never really put that song in our set," he said. "We just had a hard time playing it, for some reason; it just never jelled or felt right. And I'd really like to play that song again, and play it right."

In April 2014, Tate and QUEENSRŸCHE announced that a settlement had been reached after a nearly two-year legal battle where the singer sued over the rights to the QUEENSRŸCHE name after being fired in 2012. Original QUEENSRŸCHE members Michael Wilton (guitar), Scott Rockenfield (drums) and Eddie Jackson (bass) responded with a countersuit. The settlement included an agreement that Wilton, Rockenfield and Jackson would continue as QUEENSRŸCHE, while Tate would have the sole right to perform the albums "Operation: Mindcrime" and "Operation: Mindcrime II" in their entirety live.

Tate was replaced in QUEENSRŸCHE by former CRIMSON GLORY singer Todd La Torre.

Geoff recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of "Operation: Mindcrime" on European and U.S. tours.

CONVERGE Announces Collaborative Album 'Bloodmoon: I' Feat. CHELSEA WOLFE, BEN CHISHOLM And STEPHEN BRODSKY

CONVERGE Announces Collaborative Album 'Bloodmoon: I' Feat. CHELSEA WOLFE, BEN CHISHOLM And STEPHEN BRODSKY

"We wanted to do something grander than the typical four-piece CONVERGE music," says CONVERGE vocalist Jacob Bannon in reference to the inspiration that eventually bloomed into "Bloodmoon: I", the new collaborative album created by the legendary hardcore band alongside dark songstress Chelsea Wolfe, her bandmate/writing partner Ben Chisholm, and CAVE IN vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky. "Bloodmoon: I" is out November 19 on CD/digital via Epitaph Records and on vinyl June 24 via Deathwish.

The collaboration first began in 2016 at Roadburn festival in The Netherlands where the seven-piece performed revamped CONVERGE material under the name BLOOD MOON. The energy and rapturously received appearance inspired the group to want to make music together, though it would take several years before their schedules allowed. In late 2019, they were finally able to begin working on new material together at CONVERGE guitarist Kurt Ballou's GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts. Future sessions were planned for 2020 but the pandemic would see the remainder of the record be finished remotely.

Produced by Ballou, "Bloodmoon: I" is a harrowing and atmospheric collaborative effort that sees each performer working together and outside the comfort zones in order to create something that is truly unique to the project. "I feel like everyone just kept the music in mind and wanted to do what's best for the song," notes Brodsky.

"The project stretched my vocals in new ways. It's so different than what I normally sing over that I was able to open up and be vulnerable with my vocals," says Chelsea Wolfe. "Our dynamics are pushing and pulling in all different directions on this record, and I find that to be creatively rewarding," adds Bannon.

Today, the seven-piece offer the first glimpse of "Bloodmoon: I" with the lead track "Blood Moon", which can be heard below.

"Bloodmoon: I" track listing:

01. Blood Moon

02. Viscera Of Men

03. Coil

04. Flower Moon

05. Tongues Playing Dead

06. Lord Of Liars

07. Failure Forever

08. Scorpion's Sting

09. Daimon

Watch METALLICA's Performance For 'Global Citizen Live', A Worldwide Concert To Fight Global Poverty

Watch METALLICA's Performance For 'Global Citizen Live', A Worldwide Concert To Fight Global Poverty

METALLICA played the songs "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and "No Leaf Clover" during its September 24 show at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky as a contribution to the Global Citizen livestream, a worldwide charity event which was broadcast over 24 hours around the world on Apple Music, Apple TV app, YouTube and Twitter. Video of METALLICA's performance is available below.

METALLICA previously stated: "We're honored to support the work that our friends at Global Citizen do day in and day out to help to make the planet a better place."

Global Citizen, an international advocacy organization, staged events and performances across six continents on September 25 to help unite the world in a bid to defend the planet and defeat poverty. The broadcast featured simultaneous live music events in cities including Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; Lagos, Nigeria; London, England; Paris, France; Sydney, Australia; Seoul, South Korea; and Los Angeles and New York in the U.S.

Back in 2016, METALLICA played an abbreviated set at the Global Citizen festival in New York City. The free event on the Great Lawn in Central Park aired live on MSNBC.

"I love my sons. I want them to 'inherit the Earth,'" METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich said at the time of the band's participation in the event. "We keep waiting for future generations to solve the problems… I want lawmakers and laws to impose change. Nothing else will keep this world safe for my sons."

Regarding METALLICA's philanthropic work, Ulrich said: "We do as much as we can… The hardest thing about these types of things is just finding the right balances between how vocal you are about it, because sometimes when you're really vocal about it, there could be a fear of … just tooting our own horn."

Asked why METALLICA wanted to perform at Global Citizen, Ulrich told the New York Post in a 2016 interview: "The festival has been on our radar for a few years. I was watching [Stephen] Colbert last year and Hugh Evans [co-founder of Global Poverty Project] came out. I was super-impressed at how passionate and personable he is. Not to rank do-gooders, but sometimes you wonder if there's an ulterior motive. But he has an earnestness that is very infectious. And there's a politically neutral tone to what he does."

Watch Final Preview Clip From RATT Singer STEPHEN PEARCY's Official Documentary, 'Nothing To Lose'

Watch Final Preview Clip From RATT Singer STEPHEN PEARCY's Official Documentary, 'Nothing To Lose'

"Nothing To Lose - A Stephen Pearcy Rockumentary" is available now on ASY TV on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Firestick or at ASYTV.com. Follow RATT singer Stephen Pearcy's story from his childhood home in San Diego to the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, eventually finding platinum success and playing to sold-out arenas around the world.

Check out the fourth and final "sneak peek" clip from "Nothing To Lose - A Stephen Pearcy Rockumentary" below.

This past June, Pearcy spoke to Vintage Rock Pod about his upcoming follow-up to 2018's "View To A Thrill" solo album. He said: "So much time has passed since we started writing, Erik [Ferentinos] and I — my guitar player and co-writer guy [for] most of my solo [stuff]. It was so long ago. And the record was done; we had the songs written, like, six months ago. And that was a year process. Since then, I've been writing like a fool and writing with him, and all these new songs [came out]. So I figure let's do a double record and give it all you've got — just go in there and lay it down and say, 'Here. This is what happens in two years when you write tunes.' 'Cause they're way different. It goes all over the place, this record. Our new bass player, Jerry Montano, he did time in HELLYEAH; he's more of an aggressive writer/player. So these songs could be real heavy, heavy or they could be RATT sounding, obviously, if I write 'em. I'm trying to take 'em outside. I'm trying to do a lot of different things. And it's gonna be interesting, because it's gonna go all over the place, so good luck."

According to Pearcy, fans shouldn't expect to see his new solo LP until sometime in 2022. "It's been put off," he explained. "We're gonna try to get through this year. I've got some things to take care of with what the band RATT's gonna do… And once I get in the studio, I don't mess around. That's one thing I learned from [producer] Beau Hill, is you make shit happen. Don't waste time. And we don't. I crack a whip."

Five months ago, the 65-year-old founding RATT vocalist, who has been focusing mostly on his solo career while the band has been off the road, dropped the official music video for a previously unreleased solo song called "Don't Wanna Talk About It". The track was written "circa 2000s" entirely by Pearcy and features Stephen on vocals and guitar, Ferentinos on lead guitar, Mike Duda on bass and Greg D'Angelo on drums.

"Don't Wanna Talk About It" arrived two months after the release of Pearcy's cover version of DURAN DURAN's 1981 hit "Girls On Film". Prior to that, Pearcy issued another new solo single, "Night Flight", a collaboration between Pearcy and Ferentinos, which is expected to appear on Stephen's upcoming LP.

Pearcy's fifth solo LP, "View To A Thrill", came out in November 2018 via Frontiers Music Srl. The follow-up to 2017's "Smash" was produced by Matt Thorne and Pearcy and was mixed and mastered by Thorne and Ferentinos.

Pearcy and bassist Juan Croucier are the sole remaining original members in RATT's current lineup, which made its live debut in July 2018 in Mulvane, Kansas. Joining them in the band are drummer Pete Holmes (BLACK 'N BLUE, RATT'S JUAN CROUCIER) and guitarists Jordan Ziff (RAZER) and Frankie Lindia.

In January, Pearcy told SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk" that he was open to the idea of making a new RATT album with all the surviving members of the band's classic lineup.

RATT hasn't released any new music since 2010's "Infestation" LP.

KORN's MUNKY Shows Off His Double-Neck Guitar Signed By LED ZEPPELIN's JIMMY PAGE (Video)

KORN's MUNKY Shows Off His Double-Neck Guitar Signed By LED ZEPPELIN's JIMMY PAGE (Video)

AXS TV puts the spotlight on an eclectic array of passionate collectors and the incredible music items they hold dear in the all-new music memorabilia series "Rock My Collection". The series, which premiered on August 15, is produced by Critical Content, with executive producers Jenny Daly, Tom Forman, R. Greg Johnston, Ahmet Zappa and Matt Pickel.

Hosted by Ahmet Zappa — the best-selling author, producer, musician, and head of the iconic Frank Zappa estate — "Rock My Collection" is a celebration of some of the world's most legendary music artifacts connected to an impressive roster of industry trailblazers. Collectors are invited into the studio each week, joining both in-person and zooming in from their private collection spaces, to showcase their prized memorabilia, share their personal acquisition stories, learn more about the history behind each piece, and ultimately find out its potential value. Ranging from weird and rare to deeply personal and possibly even priceless, the series highlights notable items including a copy of Yoko Ono's book "Grapefruit", signed by Ono and John Lennon on the day he died; Stevie Nicks's stage-used microphone from FLEETWOOD MAC's "Rumours" tour complete with remnants of her lipstick; Tom Petty's scooter; an Italian roadmap signed by guitar great Jimi Hendrix; handwritten lyrics signed by late METALLICA bassist Cliff Burton; a zombie suit from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video; a cymbal signed and played by NIRVANA; Bob Marley's first 45, released as "Bobby Martel;" Brian Wilson's 1983 driver's license; love letters written by Axl Rose; and a pair of Elvis Presley oddities that truly must be seen to be believed, among many others.

In a preview clip from this upcoming weekend's episode, James "Munky" Shaffer from KORN shows off his double-neck guitar signed by the legendary LED ZEPPELIN guitarist Jimmy Page.

Regarding how he got Page to sign the guitar, Munky said: "I was on tour, and I was really getting into [LED ZEPPELIN's album] 'Physical Graffiti'. There was a song. I was, like, 'I've gotta learn how to play that song.' And so I wanted a double-neck guitar. We had a tour manager named Eric Barrett, an English guy. We were going through London, and he's, like, 'Guess what. I have a guest — you're never gonna believe it — coming to the show.' 'Okay, who is it gonna be?' He's, like, 'Jimmy Page is gonna fucking come to the show.' And I was, like, 'C'mon!' He knows him; they're friends."

Joining Zappa on this entertaining musical odyssey is Stephen M.H. Braitman of MusicAppraisals.com, an accredited senior appraiser affiliated with the American Society Of Appraisers, who specializes in music archives and memorabilia and has worked directly with many notable artists and estates. Using his encyclopedic knowledge and unparalleled expertise, Braitman delivers a unique perspective on the origins of each item and is on hand to provide a detailed estimate.

"Collecting memorabilia is often an emotional experience for fans and a way for them to connect with their musical heroes on a much greater level," Zappa said. "Some of the collector's priceless pieces on the show are truly moments of rock and roll history that you can hold in your hand, they have the power to teleport appreciators back in time with an all-access pass, right into the lives and careers of some of the worlds most legendary musicians. Each piece has a tale to tell, and I'm excited to be joining forces with AXS TV to discover how these rare items became part of their current owners collection and unearth the stories behind these rocking artifacts for everyone to enjoy."

After appraisal, collectors will have the opportunity to keep their items or put them up for auction. In addition, AXS TV has partnered with auction powerhouse Gotta Have Rock And Roll, a popular online auction house that specializes in music memorabilia, presenting an exciting interactive component that allows viewers to get in on the action and own a part of music history. Viewers may bid on select items by visiting AXS.TV/RockMyCollection with new auctions going live following each premiere episode.

"It's a real privilege to be able to get up close and personal with these items, many of whom have played important roles in the legacies of some of music's biggest names," Braitman said. "It's also great to share in the passion and excitement of these fellow music enthusiasts, and help give them a more complete picture of the items they possess. There are so many iconic pieces to show and stories to tell, and we look forward to sharing them with our viewers when 'Rock My Collection' premieres on August 15."

"Rock My Collection" also features all-access segments highlighting field trips to music landmarks and "instant memorabilia" signings where iconic musicians zoom into the studio to share their own collectible stories, and sign a personal item live on the show. Participants include shock rock pioneer Alice Cooper, beloved HEART founder Nancy Wilson, 4 NON BLONDES founder Linda Perry, alt-rock hero Gavin Rossdale, and rock renaissance man Todd Rundgren. Viewers will again be able to bid on these pieces via the "Rock My Collection" site, with proceeds from the celebrity items going to the National Independent Venues Foundation (NIVF), benefiting the invaluable small music venues and personnel who have been impacted by COVID. Additionally, field trip destinations include tours of the Grammy Museum, with a preview of their upcoming Dave Matthews exhibit; as well as Rockaway Records, home to a world-famous wall of rare BEATLES memorabilia, the "cage" at Gotta Have Rock And Roll with items belonging to Prince, Michael Jackson, Drake, and more; and an exclusive look inside the Zappa estate, honoring the enduring life and legacy of music mastermind and the host's father Frank Zappa.

"'Rock My Collection' is an all-out celebration of music artifacts and the passionate collectors who love them. These storytellers provide a unique glimpse into the origins of these rare and unique pieces that represent unforgettable moments in music history," said Sarah Weidman, head of original programming, development and multi-platform content for AXS TV. "Ahmet and Stephen are true music lovers with extensive knowledge of music history and memorabilia. Their undeniable chemistry and personable charm adds a fresh and fun perspective. Additionally, AXS TV is excited to partner with Gotta Have Rock And Roll to give viewers a chance to take some of these incredible pieces home to add to — or even start — collections of their own."

LUCIFER Release New Single And Music Video "Crucifix (I Burn For You)"

LUCIFER Release New Single And Music Video "Crucifix (I Burn For You)"

Lucifer will release their new album, Lucifer V, on October 29 via Century Media. The band has released the new single and video, "Crucifix (I Burn For You)". The song is available on all major streaming platforms, and you can watch the video below.

Speaking about the music video for the new track, vocalist Johanna Platow Andersson shares: "We are thrilled to release the music video for our new single 'Crucifix (I Burn For You)'. The sequel to our last video 'Bring Me His Head' was shot in one take with a vintage 70s tube camera just like its predecessor by photographer Crille Forsberg and directed by Amir Chamdin. It has been a true honor to work with them, especially considering the astonishing portfolios they have under their belt. They've literally worked with anyone from The Hellacopters to Adele, from Ghost to Pharrell Williams. Very notable for me personally was Crille shooting David Bowie's very last video 'Lazarus', that shook me to the bone. Well, and now they've worked with Lucifer. And what a bloody workday it was!"

We want to give a massive thanks to our formidable manager Richard Gamba (Sphere Manage), who saw something special in this band and made this deal possible. We are so excited about our future together! To Thomas Waber and InsideOut Music for putting his trust and faith in us. To our publisher Nicolas Ramaget (Editions Hurlantes), for his tireless support and counsel. But of course, none of this could happen without the unbreakable support and belief of our families, friends and our fans! Thank you all and let’s get to work!”

UNTAMED LAND - Old Western-Inspired Atmospheric Metal Project Reveals Cinematic Third Single "The Heavenly Coil"; Lyric Video

UNTAMED LAND - Old Western-Inspired Atmospheric Metal Project Reveals Cinematic Third Single "The Heavenly Coil"; Lyric Video

Ohio, US-based project Untamed Land - the world’s very first metal band incorporating the feral sounds of classic, old western cinematics - will release its sophomore release, Like Creatures Seeking Their Own Forms, via Napalm Records this Friday, October 8.

Today, following the release of their soaring, intricate recent singles, “Clothed In Smoke” and "A Nameless Shape", alongside breathtaking official music videos, Untamed Land has revealed a third single in advance of the new album release. 15-minute opus “The Heavenly Coil” proves an instant standout with organ, harpsichord and acoustics before intertwining with progressive blackened metal ingredients instilled with outlaw temper.

Project mastermind Patrick Kern says about the track: "This song features the most dissonant and intense riffs on the album, but eventually transitions to a sparse and atmospheric mood of contemplation. When the distorted guitar comes back in, the tone is much different and the story has taken a dramatic twist. You'll have to listen to the album to see where it goes from here!"

While exploring influence and nuances from various strains of atmospheric metal, Untamed Land traverses wild new frontiers - evoking the ambiance of classic Ennio Morricone/Spaghetti Western soundtracks and traditional old western instrumentals. While some listeners may be quick to label this a purely black metal album before diving into its depths, this description only scratches the surface.

Untamed Land mastermind, composer and sole performer of all instruments (except for accented violin performances by Rita Torrens and vocal contributions by Caroline Joy and Jacob Wherley), Patrick Kern, was initially inspired by what he describes as pagan, cosmic and even “doomy” black metal when writing the album, but the material bloomed in a way that is much more multifaceted to be categorized so singularly.

Patrick Kern adds about the album: “I would hesitate to call this a black metal album. It's meant to be a cinematic journey into a dark and fantastical old west setting, and various genres and sounds are used to bring that story to life. Lyrically, whereas the previous album dealt with the eternal struggle of the solar hero, this time we delve into a sort of gnostic "Beauty and the Beast" story, ultimately revolving around the feminine role in creation and the tension between the world of matter and the world of forms. The album ended up reflecting my own spiritual journey that occurred all throughout the writing and production process. I had a great time experimenting with many different styles and sounds for this release and am excited to share this new chapter in the Untamed Land world!"

The album begins with a haunting, yet whimsical old western inspired introduction, “Once Upon A Time In The Kenoma”, before ascending into the grimly epic, piano-laden "A Nameless Shape" - blending ghostly acoustics, doom-drenched riffs and icy screams as it cascades into a wave of blast beats, rhythmic guitars and operatic accent vocals. The track closes with a backing of dominant horns before leading into the introductory organs and forsaken rhythms of the dynamic, ebbing and flowing "Clothed In Smoke" - one of the album’s most movielike offerings. 15-minute standout “The Heavenly Coil” entrances with organ, harpsichord and acoustics before intertwining with progressive blackened metal ingredients instilled with outlaw temper. Like the veil of first dawn’s light, Spanish guitar and spirited drums close the track before effortlessly crossing into triumphant album closer “Achamōth”.

Like Creatures Seeking Their Own Forms is unique in all its facets - not only is it original, inspiring and an impressively ecle

NONPOINT Singer: Fans Made It Possible For Us To Return To The Road Following Trailer Accident

NONPOINT Singer: Fans Made It Possible For Us To Return To The Road Following Trailer Accident

During the first week of September, NONPOINT was on tour for the first time in two years. While traveling from one show to another, the band's trailer unhitched and crashed into a wooded area, damaging equipment and merchandise. While all of this was going on, two of the bandmembers also contracted COVID-19 and had to leave the tour altogether.

NONPOINT singer Elias Soriano told Tucson's rock station Rock 102.1 KFMA about the band's recent mishaps (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "It started out as health concerns. Robb [Rivera, drums] wasn't feeling well, and I wasn't feeling well. A couple of tests came back positive, so we decided to pull off for a couple of days, hopefully, and see if we can get back on. We started kind of routing towards Blue Ridge [festival in Danville, Virginia] to hopefully continue and have some guest drummers to do our set for us on Blue Ridge, we hit Tennessee and we lost the trailer on the highway. We hit a bump that apparently was a common place where there's constantly accidents. The bus hit a bump, the trailer hitch hit the road really hard and completely broke off. The gear went off into the forest in Tennessee."

Soriano went on to credit NONPOINT's fans for making it possible for the band to "recover" and get back on tour.

"We put up a fundraiser to kind of fill the hole that we made, trying to get everybody back home, trying to get back out on the road, trying to replace the gear," he said. "So we put up a special shirt and priced it a little higher and let people know, 'Hey, this is priced higher because we're gonna try to take some of this and turn it into repaired gear,' I guess. And people came to bat for us, man. It was great… We wouldn't be here without 'em, for sure."

In early September, NONPOINT rescheduled just under a dozen shows on its current tour after "multiple members of the band" tested positive for COVID-19.

Prior to the launch of the trek, Soriano told Bernard Cana of The Photo Pit about his band's plans to offer "VIP experiences" to its fans on the tour: "I'm nervous because of what's going on with COVID, to be able to be that up close and personal on this next run. We're having a VIP experience where we're trying to give them some kind of experience where they get to see us up close and ask questions and take pictures with us without possibly catching it from one us, God forbid — if we happen to catch it. So, what we're trying to do and what we've done and decided in our camp… We're all vaccinated. We're gonna stay inside the bubble. We're gonna make sure that the backstage area is pretty much situated and taken care of, keep our crew — especially our tour manager and our merch person, who's really gonna be in and out the crowd a lot, try to keep them safe and keep people around them masked up, hopefully, if there's that ability to do so.

"Our fans are very understanding; they always have been for years," he continued. "So I think they'll understand what we're having to deal with. I'm hoping to God that [the pandemic situation] starts to turn around very, very fast, but if it doesn't, we already have a very, very strong Plan B that's gonna keep our fans very excited and happy that isn't gonna cost 'em an arm and a leg."

NONPOINT has toured with major acts like DISTURBED, PAPA ROACH, MUDVAYNE and SEVENDUST, to name a few. They have also been featured on the main stages and support stages of iconic festivals like Soundwave, Rock Am Park, Rock Am Ring, Ozzfest, Rock On The Range, Welcome To Rockville and many more.

In June, NONPOINT released the music video for "Ruthless", the title track off the band's upcoming EP. The single was made available through the group own label 361 Degrees Records LLC and was this year's featured track on AEW's "Blood And Guts" on TNT.

NONPOINT launched its independent record label 361 Degrees Records LLC in January of this year. They filmed the process of starting the label and making new music in a docu-series titled "A Path To Independence" that can be seen on the band's YouTube and official web site.

"What to do when you do not recognize yourself anymore? You fear that others will note what is happening to you. You do everything in your power to hide it from their eyes. But the transformation is oblivious to your will, fears, needs. You already bear its marks for everyone to see."

The band blends together different subgenres from the past and present to create a unique brand of psychedelic death metal. Their musical approach mirrors the narrative of the album, that moves in multiple time and space dimensions based on fragments of articles about a formerly unknown psychoneurological condition.

"We were so sure of ourselves. So sure we were in control that we forgot we all were, first and foremost, biomass. Biomass that consisted of trillions of bacteria inside our own bodies whose sole reason for existence w

PAUL STANLEY Talks Forthcoming Netflix KISS Biopic Focusing On The Band's Early Years - "I Think It's Too Big A Story To Try To Chronicle All Of It"

PAUL STANLEY Talks Forthcoming Netflix KISS Biopic Focusing On The Band's Early Years - "I Think It's Too Big A Story To Try To Chronicle All Of It"

Speaking with Ultimate Classic Rock, KISS frontman Paul Stanley discussed the band's End Of The Road tour and the forthcoming Netflix biopic, Shout It Out Loud, which will focus just on the band's first four years, through their breakthrough of the Alive! album.

Stanley "We weren't looking to document the band's history. I think it's too big a story to try to chronicle all of it. I think the dynamics of how it started and how it reached the boiling point and got that initial success are really engaging. There's loads of great stories afterwards, but that's the foundation that we built on. That's what made everything else possible, so that's the story to tell."

Stanley calls the film "a work in progress," with casting and other announcements expected before year's end.
