ROSE TATTOO To Release Blood Brothers On Limited Edition Red VinylRose Tattoo has always been a major player in Australian rock, and has been at the helm of the music scene for decades, reaching a cult status here and overseas. Blood Brothers is a rock ‘n’ roll album that mixes traditional and modern styles and is a tribute to previous band members no longer with us. Originally released in 2007, the album was reissued with bonus tracks on CD in 2018 via Golden Robot Records.
This Blood Red Double Vinyl LP features 17 tracks, including the original 11 on LP 1 and six live tracks on LP 2, and will be released by Golden Robot Records on August 20. Preorder at Golden Robot Records.
In the category of “cult bands”, Rose Tattoo has been at the top of the pile since 1976. Their raw style of blues rock that the Australians manage to create out of a hot mix of slide guitars, pounding hooks with a sharp and tight rhythm, along with the unmistakable voice of their front man, Angry Anderson, is what gives the fans a welcome feast in what is today a fast pace orientated music business built around TV shows. They have influenced some of the biggest rock bands around including Guns ‘N Roses and L.A. Guns, and are still going strong after 40+ years.
Their sound is hard rock mixed with blues rock influences, with songs including “Bad Boy For Love”, “Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw”, “Nice Boys”, “We Can't Be Beaten” and “Scarred For Life”. Rose Tattoo are one of the all-time greatest Australian bands.
Australian rock music historian Ian McFarlane comments that Rose Tattoo are “one of the most revered bands of all time. The Tatts played peerless, street-level heavy blues with the emphasis on slide guitar and strident lyric statements.”

THE WHO's Career-Spanning Documentary 'Amazing Journey: The Story Of THE WHO' Available On THE CODA COLLECTION"Amazing Journey: The Story Of The Who", the acclaimed Grammy-nominated career-spanning documentary chronicling the history of THE WHO, is now available to stream for the first time exclusively on The Coda Collection.
Directed by Murray Lerner and Paul Crowder, and featuring interviews with the group's co-founders and surviving members Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, "Amazing Journey" is the definitive story of the British rock legends. Including rare and previously unseen footage, a treasure trove of performance clips and investigative forays into the group's music and history, the film captures the band's origins and influence over the course of their 50-plus-year career.
"Amazing Journey" also documents pivotal moments in the band's trajectory, including the emergence of 1960s mod culture, the group's reputation for destroying their instruments on-stage, how their hit "I Can't Explain" got them a record deal on the spot, embracing new formats with their rock opera opus "Tommy", the sudden deaths of Keith Moon and John Entwistle, the delicate creative relationship between Daltrey and Townshend, the group's historic appearance at The Concert For New York benefit in 2001, and much more. In addition to in-depth interviews with Townshend and Daltrey, the film features commentary from industry figures associated with the band's career, as well as musical peers Eddie Vedder, Noel Gallagher, Sting, The Edge, Steve Jones and more.
"It's not easy to capture in film the power and energy of any rock band, especially the four characters that made up THE WHO, the brilliance of Pete Townshend's music, and the magic that happened between Pete, John, Keith and myself. But WHO fans tell me 'Amazing Journey' does just that," THE WHO's Roger Daltrey said. "From the moment that Keith joined us in The Railway Hotel back in 1964, it was like a bottle of champagne being uncorked. We just clicked. And here we are, all these years later — we've lost our dear bandmates Keith and John, and Pete and I continue to play together and carry this story forward. Thanks to Coda for putting this show up, and enjoy this film about our journey. I'm still living it!"
The Coda Collection has also debuted "Six Quick Ones", a complementary piece featuring six mini-documentaries which offer an extended profile of each band member and further explore the group's unique musical chemistry.
Launched at the beginning of 2021, The Coda Collection is a subscription streaming offering featuring an exclusive, curated selection of the most iconic music documentaries, concert films, and episodic series spanning decades and genres via Amazon Prime video channels paired with a complementary website exploring new perspectives on music. The Coda Collection offers hundreds of hours of exclusive concert and documentary content from artists ranging from such legendary icons as Jimi Hendrix, THE ROLLING STONES and John Lennon and Yoko Ono to contemporary premieres of new material by such diverse artists as EVANESCENCE, JANE'S ADDICTION, THE CURE and the critically acclaimed Dave Grohl-directed documentary "What Drives Us".
The Coda Collection is available to Amazon Prime members in the U.S. now for $4.99 per month, with a free seven-day trial, and will roll out globally throughout the rest of the year.

RICK ALLEN Says DEF LEPPARD Will Present Some New Music In Not-Too-Distant FutureDEF LEPPARD drummer Rick Allen spoke to Jimmy Kay and Alan Dixon of Canada's The Metal Voice about the progress of the songwriting sessions for the band's next studio album. He said: "There's always new music on the go. And I'm happy to announce that in the not-too-distant future we'll be able to present that.
"I think that's one of the nice things about technology these days is that we can be all over the planet and still sharing ideas or coming up with new songs," he continued.
"So, yes, that's a given [that there will be a new DEF LEPPARD album]. It's always something that we pride ourselves in, is the fact that we come up with new music and we don't try and rest on Christmas past."
Last month, DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott confirmed to Cleveland.com that he and his bandmates have been trading ideas virtually during the pandemic and are "ahead of the game" with respect to the new LP's progress.
In May, Joe told Download festival host Kylie Olsson that "there's a lot of work to be done" before the completion of the new DEF LEPPARD album. "But we have not let the year go to waste," he said.
Addressing the fact that it's been nearly six years since DEF LEPPARD last released album, 2015's self-titled effort, Joe told Download: "The industry being what it is, we're all aware of the fact that there's an element of the media that can't let go of the fact that records aren't that important anymore. And I know that's a sad thing to say, but it's a fact of life. Touring is massively important — way more than it was when you went out promoting records when they were important. Especially for legacy bands or whatever you wanna call 'em. Listen, I went to see THE ROLLING STONES in 1989 in case one of them died. That's 1989. They haven't had a death since the 1960s.
"I'm aware of the fact that when you've got a history — whether it be THE EAGLES or FLEETWOOD MAC or any of the bands from the '80s, like us and [IRON] MAIDEN and whoever else, we've got this legacy audience as well that wanna see us continue the journey, if you like. And that's become way more important.
"When we finished that [2015] album, we never really thought about making another record until we just felt the timing was right," Elliott explained. "And we always just fall into place. We're constantly writing songs, so when it comes to piecing songs together, it's not like they're all absolutely brand spanking new, just written, hot-off-the-press stuff. Some of them are ideas that have been percolating for a year or two with a piece missing. And you wait and you wait and you wait, and then you have this epiphany, or one of the other guys goes, 'Why didn't you ask? I've got a bit that would fit in there perfect.' So there's been a lot of that going on. But that's a constant; that's nothing to do with coronavirus. We've been doing it since the 'Def Leppard' album came out, and we will continue to do it, whether we release an album or not. We've got songs in our heads."
DEF LEPPARD's "The Stadium Tour" with MÖTLEY CRÜE, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS was recently officially postponed until 2022.

Watch COREY TAYLOR Join NIGHT RANGER On Stage At ROCK FEST To Perform 'Don't Tell Me You Love Me'Corey Taylor joined NIGHT RANGER on stage during the band's July 16 performance at Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin to perform the veteran rockers' 1982 single "Don't Tell Me You Love Me". Video footage of his appearance can be seen below.
NIGHT RANGER singer/bassist Jack Blades explained to Ultimate Classic Rock how the collaboration came about: "[Guitarist] Brad [Gillis] and I had met him a few years ago, with Eddie Trunk on 'That Metal Show'. We were excited to share the stage with him at Rock Fest and I asked him if he wanted to sing the second verse of 'Don't Tell Me You Love Me'… and if he knew the words. He said, 'Hell yeah,' and out he came and killed it." Blades went on to describe the SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR frontman as "a brilliant songwriter and an amazing talent. We are happy to call him our friend."
Last month, Taylor announced new "CMFTour" summer 2021 tour dates. The new headline run will kick off on August 6 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature special guests CHERRY BOMBS, led by Taylor's wife Alicia Taylor, on all dates.
The new summer dates will see Taylor and his band running through anthems from his critically acclaimed solo debut "CMFT", choice cuts from his SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR catalogs, and various covers and surprises. Additionally, CHERRY BOMBS will kick off each night of the tour with a high-octane, high-flying performance.
2021 has been as busy as ever for Taylor. Having wrapped the sold-out spring leg of his "CMFTour", which he documented in a series of "Tour Diaries" for Rolling Stone, Taylor also recently released an inspired new cover of CROSBY, STILLS, NASH & YOUNG's "Carry On" and fronted GROUND CONTROL, a supergroup also comprised of Taylor Hawkins (FOO FIGHTERS), Dave Navarro (JANE'S ADDICTION) and Chris Chaney (JANE'S ADDICTION) performing at "The Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day" in tribute to the late David Bowie.
NIGHT RANGER will release its 12th studio album, "ATBPO", on August 6 via Frontiers Music Srl. "ATBPO" stands for "And The Band Played On", an ode to making music during the COVID-19 era. It will be available on CD and vinyl (several limited-edition, color vinyl versions), as well as digitally across all streaming platforms.
NIGHT RANGER began writing the album in early 2020, amid the onset of the global pandemic. After narrowing down the song selection and tightening them up to their well-known rock and roll sound, the band hit the studio, although separately, due to the times we are in. Throughout "ATBPO", we hear NIGHT RANGER continuing their hot streak that kicked off with 2011's "Somewhere In California". Ten years on, and two highly acclaimed albums later, "High Road" and "Don't Let Up", the band's latest studio work shows them still burning with that high-octane hard rock energy they are known for. NIGHT RANGER has always had a knack for killer melodies, intricate instrumentation, and captivating lyrics; "ATBPO" delivers all of that and more.
Having sold over 17 million albums worldwide, performed across more than 4,000 stages, and enjoyed a radio audience that exceeds one billion, NIGHT RANGER has both epitomized and transcended the arena rock sound and style well beyond that era.
NIGHT RANGER is Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (lead and rhythm guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards), and Keri Kelli (lead and rhythm guitars).
?”Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends”?
Thanks to Corey Taylor for joining us yesterday at Rock Fest!

ARCH ENEMY Drummer DANIEL ERLANDSSON Posts Playthrough Video Of SLAYER's "War Ensemble""Here's a drum cover (possibly the first cover I ever did, maybe not the last) of Slayer's 'War Ensemble'," says Daniel Erlandsson of Arch Enemy.
"The original features the one and only Dave Lombardo, who nailed this song 30 years ago. This is a tribute to him and Slayer and is in no way perfect. Pretty proud to say though, I filmed this exclusively with an iPhone... next time I'll use more cameras haha. As always - thank you for watching. Enjoy!"
Two of Europe’s most revered metal bands are set to combine forces to bring their European Siege 2021 tour to the old continent in fall 2021. Sweden’s Arch Enemy and Poland’s Behemoth are joining together for these special dates, bringing their longtime friends and metal legends Carcass in the special guest slot. Opening the evening’s thunderous proceedings will be hotly-tipped gothic metal newcomers, Unto Others (formerly known as Idle Hands).
Arch Enemy’s founder and guitarist, Michael Amott informs us, ”As we’ve been going through these troubled and challenging times lately, I think we all need something to look forward to. A reason to believe, right? Well... this is it!! The European Siege tour, featuring Arch Enemy, Behemoth, Carcass and Unto Others is undoubtedly the ultimate metal tour of 2021 - see you there!”
Behemoth’s frontman and creative visionary Nergal mirrors Amott’s sentiment, “After more than a year’s break from live music, we can think of no better homecoming to our beloved Legions than delivering to you a performance of new music and an event for the ages: The European Siege - a crushing combination of Carcass, Arch Enemy and Behemoth. We also proudly present the uniquely brilliant, Unto Others who will warmly welcome you to this night of metal magic!”

MORDRED Debut "All Eyes On The Prize" Music VideoMordred have released a video for "All Eyes On The Prize", the latest digital single from their upcoming album, The Dark Parade.
"This song is based on the idea of manifest destiny here in America, set to the backdrop of the transcontinental railway construction of the late 1800s," explains guitarist Danny White. "I was watching a show called 'Hell On Wheels,' and it just struck me that manifest destiny and the idea that ruling America at all costs, plundering its resources and subjugating its indigenous inhabitants is somehow divinely preordained seemed antithetical to what a divine being originally intended. Colonization is an ugly business.”
Outside of their 2015 single “The Baroness”, 2020 EP Volition marked the first new Mordred music since the band’s 2013 reunion. The four songs on that effort saw the group return to the scene with a revitalized energy and successfully recapture their classic sound, which is rooted in thrash metal but veers off the straightforward path for more adventurous musical explorations by utilizing funk-infused musicianship and hip-hop influences. The Dark Parade is the continuation of the aural momentum that Mordred regained on Volition and showcases a band that sounds as fresh now as they did during their initial decade of existence.
The Dark Parade is Mordred’s first full-length album in over 25 years. Set to be released via M-Theory Audio on July 23, the record - which will be offered on CD, digital, cassette, blue vinyl with orange splatter and a limited-edition, mail-order exclusive white vinyl variant - can be pre-ordered here.

MAYANK Feat. GUI OLIVER Release Streaming New Song "We Are One"Mayank is a new melodic rock band centered around Brazilian vocalist Gui Oliver, who is joined by Swedish guitarist Rolf Nordström (Perfect Plan), keyboardist/producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, and drummer Nicholas Papapicco. Their self-titled debut album is out August 6. Pre-order here, and listen to the song "We Are One" below.
"I was really inspired by the songs Ale [Alessandro Del Vecchio] sent me for this album. I wrote the melodies and the lyrics around them. The ideas came so naturally, like they were already in my mind and heart. Especially some lyrics that are a kind of redemption to me. My musical background is the classic bands such as Strangeways, Giant, FM, Signal, Survivor, and Journey and I think you can hear that in these songs," says Gui Oliver.
Frontiers President Serafino Perugino, who signed Gui’s band Auras back in 2010, has long admired the Brazilian vocalist’s talents and wanted to give him another platform to showcase his amazing melodic rock vocals. Thus, Mayank was born with the intent to build a group with amazing talents from the melodic rock scene who are all on the same wavelength musically and would come together seamlessly as a musical unit.
The name Gui Oliver is certainly a familiar one to melodic rock connoisseurs. In 2010, fans first got to know his soaring vocals through Auras' debut album New Generation. Gui’s voice, resembling such giants as Steve Perry, Jimi Jamison, and Mickey Thomas, immediately put him in the spotlight after the release of said debut. Unfortunately, the group disbanded after releasing their lone album and playing a few shows in their home country, Brazil (including support gigs for Jeff Scott Soto and Jimi Jamison).
Gui however later on joined Landfall, another great Brazilian melodic hard rock act, who soon found their way to the Frontiers label. Landfall was put to Frontiers attention by producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, who had developed a strong friendship with the band. Landfall would go on to release their debut album, The Turning Point via Frontiers in 2020.
Because of the friendship between Del Vecchio and Landfall, Ale and Gui started to exchange musical ideas and make plans to do a record together. The pandemic lockdowns and quarantines of 2020 became the perfect time for the two to work together on a record. A very special addition to the album comes in the form of Rolf Nordström of Sweden's Perfect Plan, who joined the fold to bring his excellent guitar skills to the music. The result is the debut album from Mayank, We Are One, a culmination of hard work and passionate musical output between Gui, Ale, and an amazing team of musicians and songwriters.

California’s RUIN To Release Spread Plague Death Album In AugustNameless Grave Records presents Spread Plague Death, the decimating new LP from long-running Phelan, California-based death metal collective, Ruin. Confirming the record for late August release, the label has posted its cover art, track listing, preorders, and the lead single, “Ornaments Of Flesh.”
Ruin was spewed forth in 1991 by Mihail Jason Satan (Dead Conspiracy, ex-Gravehill). Many band members came and went and after incarcerations, deaths, and disappearances, the band went on an extensive hiatus until 2015, when MJS decided to get this dismal and rotting corpse back up and ready to kill again. Former member Phobic One was on board to release the demo Spread Plague Hell on his label Nero One Records in 2015. Live assaults started that year, and the band has since released a massive number of EPs, splits with Violation Wound, Anarchus, Anthropic, Absconder, Anatomia, and more, and two full-length albums, Drown In Blood and Human Annihilation.
With MJS on vocals, the Ruin lineup currently is currently fleshed out with drummer D-Muerte (Aeternum, Oscuros, ex-Mictlantecuhtli), bassist Spine, and guitarists Carsten Brix (Destroyed in Seconds, ex-Gravehill) and Bodybag. 2021 sees the collective prepared to release the crushing blow if their third LP, Spread Plague Death. Packing thirteen tracks into the record, Spread Plague Death features additional assistance with soundscapes by Scott Lee Martin and Alex Allenruso. Recorded at Trench Studios by John Haddad and The Church Of Sacrifice by Carsten LaRoque in late 2020 and early 2021, with mixing handled by LaRoque at The Church Of Sacrifice as well as at the Ascension Falls Blk/Str Cabin at Apache Junction/Helican Gate, Spread Plague Death was mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound Mastering, and completed with original paintings by Janine Wunsch and photography by Carmen Canchola/CSGF and The Death Metal Cult.

BLINK-182's MARK HOPPUS Reveals The Type Of Cancer He Is BattlingBLINK-182 singer and bassist Mark Hoppus, who went public with his cancer diagnosis last month, has confirmed that he is battling a blood disorder called stage 4-A diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, the same type of cancer his mother previously beat.
Hoppus discussed his health issues during a recent Twitch question-and-answer session. Saying that he will soon undergo a PET scan which will shed light on whether his chemotherapy treatments have been working, he added: "Ideally I go in tomorrow and they say, 'Congratulations! Your chemotherapy has worked and you are all done and you'll never have to think about this cancer again for the rest of your life. Even if the cancer's totally gone from my whole body, they give me three more rounds of chemo just to make sure."
Hoppus also described his experience with chemo thus far, saying: "The first chemo, I felt like I was a zombie that fell onto an electric fence and was just being shocked… The second round of chemo, I just felt very weak and tired. Really just like the worst flu ever. The third round of chemo, I started retching. Nauseous and that whole thing."
Despite the nature of the disease, Hoppus has seemingly maintained a positive attitude about his ordeal. "We're beating this cancer," he said. "It's just a matter of time."
The musician broke the news of his diagnosis on June 23 by posting a photo of himself in what appeared to be a doctor's office surrounded by medical equipment. He wrote in an accompanying caption: "Yes hello. One cancer treatment, please."
The 49-year-old Hoppus is BLINK-182's bassist, co-vocalist and sole remaining founding member.
BLINK-182's latest album, "Nine", was released in September 2019 via Columbia Records and includes singles "I Really Wish I Hated You", "Darkside", "Happy Days", "Generational Divide" and "Blame It On My Youth".
Since its humble beginnings in 1992 in San Diego, BLINK-182 has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and rocked audiences around the globe, becoming one of the defining and inspirational rock bands of its generation.
BLINK-182 is Hoppus, Travis Barker (drums) and Matt Skiba (vocals/guitar). A guitarist and singer with ALKALINE TRIO, Skiba replaced original BLINK-182 singer Tom DeLonge in 2016.
BLINK-182 released its first post-DeLonge album, "California", in 2016. 3

Watch FOZZY Debut Brand New Song 'The Vulture Club' At Iowa ConcertFOZZY debuted a brand new song, "The Vulture Club", during its concert Wednesday night (July 14) at Wildwood in Iowa City, Iowa. The band also performed its latest single, "Sane", live for the first time. Fan-filmed video footage of both tracks can be seen below.
In May, FOZZY dropped a breathtaking video for its first new song in two years, "Sane", which hit one million views in its first two weeks. This first-of-its-kind video was filmed on the longest wooden roller coaster on the planet today. Get a first-hand view of the madness as the band literally defies gravity, by reaching top speeds of 70 mph and terrifying drops of 154 feet, rocking to the crushing new track every track of the way!! It's an edgy, heart-stopping thrill ride that represents both the power and physicality of FOZZY's music, along with the bombastic nature and "who gives a shit" attitude of their live show.
This past February, FOZZY singer Chris Jericho told Detroit's WRIF radio station that the band's follow-up to 2017's "Judas" album would "continue with the momentum that [the] 'Judas' [title track] started for us three years ago."
Last summer, Chris revealed that FOZZY's next LP will contain 12 songs, including one cover.
In May 2020, Jericho told Australia's Triple M radio station that FOZZY has "so many great songs" written for the new LP that "it's gonna be hard to pick the singles."
Guitarist Rich Ward and producer Johnny Andrews once again did "the lion's share" of the songwriting for the new LP, which was recorded primarily in Atlanta, Georgia.
Released in August 2019, "Nowhere To Run" was FOZZY's third single to hit Top 10 on rock radio, following "Judas" and "Painless".
In addition to producing "Judas", Andrews previously co-wrote FOZZY's "Lights Go Out" track back in 2014. He has also written songs with the likes of ALL THAT REMAINS, THREE DAYS GRACE and HALESTORM.
In November, FOZZY appeared in its first global live streaming event from Madison Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
FOZZY is Chris Jericho (vocals), Rich Ward (guitars, vocals), Frank Fontsere (drums), Billy Grey (guitars) and P.J. Farley (bass).

MINISTRY Shares 'Unity Mix' Of 'Good Trouble' Single Featuring N.W.A.'s ARABIAN PRINCEThe passing of the late congressman John Lewis on July 17, 2020 had a profound impact on MINISTRY creator Al Jourgensen and inspired the new song "Good Trouble", a term often associated with the lifelong social activist work of the late congressman who was monumental in the civil rights movement.
Today, in honor of one year since Lewis's passing, MINISTRY shares the new "Unity Mix" of the song that features N.W.A.'s Arabian Prince and guitarist Cesar Soto. This unedited version is meant to bridge the gap between black and white and be a unifying call to arms to keep the fight for what's right moving forward.
Says Jourgensen of the intent behind the song: "If you look at the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, it took 100 years to actually make the unwritten Jim Crow laws of segregation illegal. And it's now taken another 50 years to bring these issues to the forefront of consciousness again. Seeing the grassroots movements springing up in 2020 and continuing today, coupled with the legacy and loss of John Lewis, I thought it was time to put a voice to that. Human beings deserve the right to be human beings and seeing this massive groundswell fighting for equal rights inspired this song."
Arabian Prince adds: "Working with Al is always a blast, but this song is special as the powerful message must be magnified and spread across the globe. Just to read the words of John Lewis on video will be something I will remember forever. Thanks, Al, for allowing me to bless this song."
Soto also says: "All the riffs that you hear in 'Good Trouble' were inspired by a reconnection that I've had not only with myself, but a reconnection with the universe through sobriety. Mix that with a country that was falling apart during a pandemic, and a home studio, and you have a winning formula and endless riffs. The song definitely means a lot to me and I can connect with it because I am a product of racial inequality. Being Latino, I've dealt with racism and still deal with racism, so I have a strong connection with the song."
The special "Unity Mix" of "Good Trouble" is only available to watch/share on MINISTRY's socials and will not appear on the band's upcoming "Moral Hygiene" release. It's intended solely to be a tribute to the work, the legacy, and the words of John Lewis.
"Moral Hygiene" will be made available on October 1 via Nuclear Blast Records. Containing some of MINISTRY's strongest and most inspired material to date, the 10-track follow-up to 2018's "AmeriKKKant" is Jourgensen's societal manifesto and plea for civilization to get back to a set of standards that lives up to and embraces our humanity.
"Moral Hygiene" also includes the previously released "Alert Level" that sounded the alarms about our collective dissonance towards the pandemic, climate change and the man formerly in the White House, bolstered by the song's overarching question posed to listeners: "How concerned are you?"
The new album also adds perspective to the countless lives that were tragically lost to the COVID-19 pandemic on the haunting track "Death Toll" while "Disinformation" describes the too frequent willingness to accept everything — even mistruths — as fact.
Other musical jewels on the upcoming release include a collaboration with Jello Biafra (Jourgensen's cohort in side project LARD) on "Sabotage Is Sex" and a unique take on THE STOOGES' "Search And Destroy" that features guitar virtuoso Billy Morrison (BILLY IDOL, ROYAL MACHINES). Morrison is also heavily featured on a number of songs on the album.
"Moral Hygiene" was recorded with engineer Michael Rozon (also behind the boards on "AmeriKKKant") at Scheisse Dog Studio, Jourgensen's self-built home studio and creative lab. As with all MINISTRY albums, all songs are written and performed by Jourgensen. Additional contributions come from Morrison, Cesar Soto (MAN THE MUTE), John Bechdel (KILLING JOKE, FEAR FACTORY), Roy Mayorga (STONE SOUR, SOULFLY, NAUSEA), Paul D'Amour (TOOL, FEERSUM ENNJIN), Arabian Prince (N.W.A.), Jello Biafra (DEAD KENNEDYS) and sitar player Flash.
"Moral Hygiene" will be available in CD, vinyl and digital download formats.
Born in 1981 in Chicago, MINISTRY has been the lifetime passion project of Jourgensen, considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. In its early days, MINISTRY was identifiable by its heavy synth-pop material in line with the new sounds and technology that were being developed in the '80s. MINISTRY's output began with four 12-inch singles on Wax Trax! Records in 1981 before the first LP, "With Sympathy", in 1983 via Arista Records. As time progressed, however, so did MINISTRY, quickly developing a harsher, and more stylized sound that the band soon became infamous for on seminal albums "Twitch" (1986), "The Land Of Rape And Honey" (1988), and "The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste" (1989). With the release of "Psalm 69: The Way To Succeed And The Way To Suck Eggs" (1992), MINISTRY hit an all-time high in the mainstream musical realm and received its first Grammy nomination. In total, MINISTRY has been nominated for a Grammy Award six times. Eight more albums would follow before an indefinite break in 2013, only to be unearthed again in 2018 with "AmeriKKKant", continuing to reflect Jourgensen's views on the frightening state of society and politics. 1

Ex-CRO-MAGS Frontman JOHN JOSEPH Calls Out DAVE GROHL For Playing 'Vaccinated-Only' Shows: 'What Kind Of Bulls**t Is That?'Former CRO-MAGS frontman John Joseph has called out Dave Grohl for playing vaccinated-only shows.
A vaccine passport is a physical or digital document that displays whether someone is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Critics say that such passports are a violation of privacy and an example of government overreach. Meanwhile, supporters point out that federal immigration law already requires that immigrants provide proof of vaccination status for several diseases.
FOO FIGHTERS essentially asked for a vaccine passport last month when they performed at Madison Square Garden in what was the first major concert in New York since the pandemic began. Days earlier, the Grohl-fronted outfit performed a small warm-up gig in Agoura Hills, California where fans wishing to attend had to show photo ID as well as proof of vaccination in order to pick up their non-transferable tickets. Both events featured dozens of anti-vaccination advocates who demonstrated outside the venue for "segregating" the vaccinated from unvaccinated.
Joseph, who has been vocal on Twitter about his concern regarding pharmaceutical company motives and the relationships between government agencies, vaccine manufacturers and providers, discussed his feelings on the issue in a new interview with Christina Rowatt of The Void With Christina.
Addressing the prospect of fans needing to have vaccine passports to gain entry to gigs, John said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I forget what the dude's name is — he's in some big fucking band — he's, like, 'I'm not playing any vaccinated-only shows. He was in a big English band; I forget what the name of 'em is. [Then] you've got motherfuckers like Dave Grohl who used to play drums for [1980s Washington, D.C. hardcore punk band] SCREAM and open up for the CRO-MAGS, now he's with the FLU PFIZERS, the FLU FIGHTERS, and it's, like, 'We're playing vaccinated-only shows.' What kind of bullshit is that? What kind of fucking bullshit are you fucking dealing with in your fucking head that you would play a vaccinated-only fucking show?"
There's plenty of precedent for having to show proof of vaccination whether for work or travel. For a century, nearly every school in the U.S. has been requiring proof of vaccinations for students to enroll. Dozens of countries across the globe require a "Yellow Fever Card" to enter their borders.
Proponents of vaccine passports, including several high-profile heavy metal musicians, have touted them as one of the most effective ways to reopen the nation's economy in a safe manner.
This past April, TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider said that he was in favor of some kind of a coronavirus vaccine passport program whereby concert venues can ask patrons to show proof of testing or vaccination before attending certain events. Snider addressed the hot-button issue in a tweet, writing: "I get that some people are wary of this, but I want a vaccine passport in the worst fucking way! I wave my vaccination card around like a flag! I've got nothing to hide and if a vaccine passport will let me go places without all these covid protocols sign me the fuck up!"
Earlier that same month, TESTAMENT guitarist Alex Skolnick said that the recent announcement by various clubs and promoters around the country that they would begin staging events for only those guests who show proof of full vaccination was "what we need to do." He explained: "To go to certain countries, we need to get a yellow fever shot, and we carry this card that's put out by the World Health Organization that is proof of vaccination. What's the difference? We've been doing this for years. We wouldn't think otherwise. We don't wanna risk getting somebody else sick. So why would there be an issue here? And then, when people complain about the vaccine — 'I don't know what's in it. I'm suspicious…' Well, are you suspicious of the polio vaccine? 'Cause I think everybody gets that. I don't think you leave the hospital without getting certain vaccines."
Alex added: "I'm just amazed how people aren't aware of this. There's measles, mumps, polio… There's vaccines that we've been getting for years, and that's why we're not getting measles or mumps, or why we're not being forced to not be able to walk because of polio — because we get these vaccines. And the same medical and scientific communities that are behind those vaccines are behind these vaccines.
"My patience is running thin for these types," Skolnick concluded.
Every business has the right to decide whether or not you can come in once they roll out this draconian vaccine passport bullshit - just as I also have the right to not give them my money and I won’t - they can fcuk off ?

The WHO (which is corrupt as fuck and run by the pharmaceutical companies and Bill Gates) claims that people refusing to take this experimental shot are the biggest health threats. No mention of big Pharma which has killed tens and millions of people across the planet.

AUTOPSY Parts Ways With Longtime Bassist JOE TREVISANOAUTOPSY has announced the departure of longtime bassist Joe Trevisano.
The highly influential U.S. death metal pioneers made his exit official in a social media post on Saturday (July 17).
The band wrote: "Surreal as it is, our long time bass player and friend Joe Trevisano has left the band.
"Joe has been making records and kicking ass on stage all over the world with us for the entire chapter two of AUTOPSY going back to 2008. And before that he was in ABSCESS going back to 1997, and even before that...we knew Joe from the local scene around 1991 when he was in VON, so we have a long history together.
"Let it be known the split is on good terms. Joe has decided to shift his focus to his family and we support him on this 100% and will always consider him part of the AUTOPSY gang. In the meantime fear not, AUTOPSY will continue to forge ahead and we will keep you all posted on developments. We are not done crushing your skulls yet, so consider yourselves warned."
AUTOPSY's first official live album, "Live In Chicago", was released last October via Peaceville Records. It was made available on double gatefold black vinyl and CD format.
"Live In Chicago" was recorded at Reggie's Rock Club on March 7, 2020, and contains 66 minutes of classics spanning the whole 30-plus-year career of the death metal legends. The release also notably includes the brand new track "Maggots In The Mirror", giving fans something to chew on while the impending next studio release takes shape.
With mixing carried out by Adam Munoz, notable for his work on AUTOPSY's studio albums, "Live In Chicago" captures the band in all of its ferocious, gory glory, with artwork once again conjured from the masterfully warped mind of Wes Benscoter (SLAYER, NILE, KREATOR).
One of the early breed of U.S. death metal acts, AUTOPSY formed in 1987 in San Francisco and released four albums on Peaceville Records, beginning with the classic debut "Severed Survival" in 1989 — before disbanding in 1995, with members going on to form ABSCESS. AUTOPSY triumphantly and officially returned from the grave after a 15-year hiatus with the 2010 EP "The Tomb Within". This was followed by the release of the band's fifth studio album, "Macabre Eternal", in 2011, to great acclaim, and the band has subsequently remained at the top of the death metal pile since.
AUTOPSY's latest studio release, the "Puncturing The Grotesque" mini-LP, arrived in November of 2017 via Peaceville Records.

SEBASTIAN BACH Pays Tribute To CINDERELLA's JEFF LABAR: 'He Did Not Deserve To Leave Us So Soon'Former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach has issued a brief statement regarding the passing of CINDERELLA guitarist Jeff LaBar.
Jeff was found dead by his wife, Debinique Salazar-LaBar, on Wednesday, July 14 inside his apartment in Nashville. He was 58 years old.
On Friday, Bach took to his Twitter to share a photo of him with LaBar, and he wrote in an accompanying message: "Rock in Peace to my buddy Jeff LeBar. We had some good times together and he did not deserve to leave us so soon. To his son Sebastian hang in there dude & be strong from the other Sebastian your dad will always be by your side".
LaBar joined CINDERELLA in time to record the band's debut album, 1986's "Night Songs", which peaked at position No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and was eventually certified triple platinum. It included CINDERELLA's biggest hit, "Nobody's Fool", which reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. CINDERELLA's second album, 1988's "Long Cold Winter", was also certified triple platinum. The band's third LP, 1990's "Heartbreak Station", went platinum before the rise of the grunge movement effectively killed glam and hair metal, resulting in drastically lower sales for the band's final release, 1994's "Still Climbing".
LaBar released a solo album, "One For The Road", in 2014.
Although CINDERELLA hadn't released a new studio album since "Still Climbing", the band started playing sporadic shows again in 2010 but had been largely inactive for the last few years while frontman Tom Keifer focused on his solo career.
Back in 2016, LaBar accepted blame for CINDERELLA's prolonged period of inactivity, explaining that his "drinking problem" caused a rift between him and his bandmates. He told "Another FN Podcast With Izzy Presley": "I can only speculate, but I believe it's all my fault. It's no secret that I've had a drinking problem. And it showed its ugly face on one of those [cruises that CINDERELLA played]. I guess that's what caused a rift… When I fell out on one of those cruise ships in front of everybody — like, basically O.D.'d — that's when the band, and mostly Tom, took notice and was, like, 'What the fuck?'"
Asked if he was sober at the time of the interview, LaBar said: "No, I'm not. Which is the problem. Which is probably the problem. Like I said, I can only speculate, because I don't talk to the other guys anymore. I talk to Fred every now and then. Eric [Brittingham, bass] lives 20 minutes from me. We haven't talked lately, but Eric and I have been the most consistent of all my bandmates throughout the past 32 years. It's just Tom and I that don't talk anymore. And I can only speculate that he's very disappointed and doesn't wanna see me die. He doesn't wanna witness me dying."
Rock in Peace to my buddy Jeff LeBar. We had some good times together and he did not deserve to leave us so soon. To his son Sebastian hang in there dude & be strong ✌️ from the other Sebastian ✌️ your dad will always be by your side ? pic.twitter.com/jqGoToBNYL

Bassist LEXXI FOXX Quits STEEL PANTHERBassist Lexxi Foxx has left California glam metal jokesters STEEL PANTHER.
The band announced Foxx's departure in a tongue-in-cheek social media post earlier today (Saturday, July 17).
STEEL PANTHER wrote: "The End of an Era
"The great pandemic of 2020-2037 has affected all of us. For some though, it has opened doors of opportunity and been a catalyst to seek out one's true calling in life. This is Lexxi's story. He started his side business, 'Sexy Lexxi's Prettiest Pets,' to bring in money for Botox during the lockdown. But something miraculous happened. He realized that his love for making pets pretty was greater than his love for being pretty himself. Lexxi discovered a greater love. Possibly, the greatest love of all.
"Lexxi has chosen to hang up his mirror and focus on his newfound passion. Making ugly dogs pretty. Anyway, after nearly 40 years of rocking together and taking STEEL PANTHER from the Viper Room to headlining Wembley Arena, it is with heavy hearts —but great heavy metal memories — that we bid Lexxi Foxx farewell. We love you and we wish you a wonderful future putting eyeliner on chihuahuas.
"STEEL PANTHER will continue to rock the world. And though we may not ever find a bassist quite as beautiful as Lexxi, it shouldn't be hard to find one to match his towering intellect.
"Good Luck… And goodbye Lexxi Foxx!!"
Back in December 2018, Lexxi, whose real name is Travis Haley, sat out a STEEL PANTHER tour after being admitted to "sex rehab." The real reason for his absence was never officially disclosed.
Last December, STEEL PANTHER released a re-worked version of its song "Fuck Everybody" from its latest album, "Heavy Metal Rules", now re-titled "Fuck 2020". The newly recorded version included updated verses that reflect the insanity of last year.
"Heavy Metal Rules" was released in September 2019. The disc, which is described in a press release as a "heavy metal version of a self-help manual and ultimate party album combined," was once again produced by Jay Ruston, who collaborated with the band on all of its previous recordings, including 2017's "Lower The Bar".
STEEL PANTHER specializes in imitating and exaggerating the less flattering aspects of 1980s hair metal, with unrepentantly crude, non-PC sexual content as a favorite lyrical theme.
The group's music has been described as "VAN HALEN meets MÖTLEY CRÜE meets RATT meets 'Wayne's World', complete with operatic shrieks, misogyny, shredding guitar solos and libidinal overdrive."
Thirteen years ago, STEEL PANTHER changed its name from METAL SKOOL to its current moniker and shifted the focus of its act from '80s metal covers to originals. 15

COHEED AND CAMBRIA Is Working On 'Modern' New Record: 'It's Looking Forward, Not Backwards'COHEED AND CAMBRIA frontman Claudio Sanchez has confirmed to Consequence Of Sound that he and his bandmates have been working on new music during the coronavirus downtime. Regarding what fans can expect, he said: "I'll be honest. A lot of times, with bands who've been around and built a strong fanbase like we have, I think there might be a tendency, intentionally or unintentionally, to try to give the fans what they want and not take too many risks. But after making music for so long and entering a pandemic, we didn't want limitations to the creative process. The [next] record is going to be what I hope people perceive this band to be in 2021/2022."
He added: "It's a modern record. It's a COHEED AND CAMBRIA record, but it's looking forward, not backwards."
As for what is influencing COHEED AND CAMBRIA's new music, Claudio said: "I think the biggest influence of the record is my son and navigating parenthood within this strange new world we all found ourselves in."
It's been over two years since COHEED AND CAMBRIA's 2018 album, "Vaxis I: The Unheavenly Creatures", was released as the band's "return to concept" album. After stepping away with a more introspective album in 2015, Sanchez and the band returned to the sci-fi universe of "The Amory Wars" in what was said to be the first of a five-part series of albums. With 2021 upon us, and a major summer tour now announced, the volume of fans' chatter for "Vaxis 2" and what and when that will entail are loading up the band's social media pages.
COHEED AND CAMBRIA is a rare band whose music can transcend "scenes" and effortlessly cross genres of rock — from indie to progressive, to metal and pop-punk to classic rock. The band is frequently compared to progressive, operatic rock bands of the '70s, ala QUEEN, SUPERTRAMP or RUSH, due to their thrilling concept albums that take you on a grand journey of sounds and often clock-in around 110 mins, but still somehow include sugary pop-laden hooks.
The group's following has grown steadily every album, partly due to their ferocious live show that brings fans to their knees with an equally expansive light show. This summer, the band will be performing songs from their expansive catalog, and we can only imagine they'll pull a few new tricks from up their slee

Listen To SEETHER's 'Feast Or Famine' From 'Wasteland - The Purgatory' EPSEETHER will release "Wasteland - The Purgatory" EP digitally and on CD July 30 and on vinyl October 22 via Fantasy Records. The five-track set includes the fan favorite "Wasteland", from the band's most recent album, and features three never-before-heard songs, and an alternate/stripped down version of "Wasteland". Written and produced by Shaun Morgan, engineered by the band's newest member Corey Lowery, and mixed by Matt Hyde, "Wasteland - The Purgatory" EP follows the August 2020 release of SEETHER's eighth album, the acclaimed "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" ("If You Want Peace, Prepare For War.") The first two singles from the album both hit No. 1 on the Active Rock and Rock charts: the anthemic "Dangerous" and hard-hitting "Bruised And Bloodied".
The second single from the "Wasteland - The Purgatory" EP, "Feast Or Famine", can be streamed below.
"Wasteland - The Purgatory" EP special vinyl edition will be released on 45rpm 12-inch vinyl on October 22. The band's online store will have a 500-unit super limited-edition custom Smoke and Translucent Red split color vinyl and a limited-edition Custom Clear with Smoky White Swirls color vinyl, while record stores will carry Custom Mixed Translucent Red with Smoky Black Swirls color vinyl.
SEETHER frontman Shaun Morgan comments on this new release: "We are really excited to release 'The Purgatory' EP as a companion to our latest single, 'Wasteland'. I'm especially proud of how the alternate version of the track turned out and really happy that people will finally hear it!"
"Wasteland - The Purgatory" EP demonstrates SEETHER's dynamism and creative versatility. Seething with dark muscularity, the urgent "What Would You Do?" is a beautiful and cathartic baptism-by-fire that never lets up. With PIXIES undertones and BEATLES accents, "Will It Ever End?" is a startling, pandemic appropriate head trip that, like the voice in your head, goes to places unforeseen and unforgiven. "Feast Or Famine" sounds like the unholy progeny of AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne-era BLACK SABBATH. The EP is bookended by two versions of "Wasteland", the original album version and a stripped-down alternate version that features touches of piano and cello, but still retains the original's tormented drive. This latest release finds SEETHER, one of hard rock's most enduring and prolific bands, at the very top of their very productive game.
Last month, SEETHER announced they will join 3 DOORS DOWN on the latter band's "The Better Life" 20th-anniversary tour as special guests on select dates throughout the summer. These shows kick off on July 17 in Huber Heights, Ohio and will see the bands play amphitheaters in major markets across the U.S. Additionally, this fall will see SEETHER play several festivals, including Louder Than Life 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky and the sold-out Aftershock festival 2021 in Sacramento, California.

THE WILDHEARTS Drop New Single, 'Sort Your F**king S**t Out'THE WILDHEARTS will release a new studio album, "21st Century Love Songs", on September 3 through Graphite Records. It is the follow-up to "Renaissance Men", THE WILDHEARTS' highest-charting album since 1994's "P.H.U.Q.", which debuted at No. 11.
The LP's latest single, "Sort Your Fucking Shit Out", can be streamed below.
THE WILDHEARTS frontman Ginger (real name David Walls) said: "We all have habits or irritating behavioural patterns that we know we ought to quit. Whether it's smoking, drinking/eating too much or simply having a shit temper, at some point we point the finger at ourselves. This song is about that moment, giving yourself a bollocking. It's important to give yourself a stern talking to. Unless your problem is talking to yourself, of course. In which case you probably ignore this advice."
With THE WILDHEARTS' classic line up of Ginger, CJ, Ritchie and Danny still holding strong, this creatively brilliant band, who helped change the landscape of British rock through the '90s, is showing no sign of slowing down.
"21st Century Love Songs" will be available in usual CD and vinyl formats plus an exclusive limited-edition red vinyl. There's also signed photocards with each format whilst stock lasts, as well as t-shirt bundles available from the band's webstore.
Ginger previously stated about "21st Century Love Songs": "'Renaissance Men' reminded me of our first album, 'Earth Vs The Wildhearts'. No one knew how the fans and press would receive it, so it was balls-to-the-wall rock, and fuck 'em if they don't like it. Going in again, for '21st Century Love Songs', naturally reminded me of our second album, 'P.H.U.Q.', where we got to flex our creative muscle and show everyone what we're capable of. This time we let the songs simmer until absolutely ready. We let the theme of the album present itself. There's a subtlety to this album, something that people don't often associate with THE WILDHEARTS, and a sense of adventure in the unorthodox arrangements of the songs. This is where I become a fan of the band, when we ditch the rule book and just follow our instinct. Sarcastic, fun, angry, proud, experimental and belligerent, all wrapped up in a big 'fuck you', this is the sound of the band in their natural habitat. This time we're in control."
To celebrate the release of "21st Century Love Songs", THE WILDHEARTS will embark on an 18-date U.K. tour in September. The tour will start in Cardiff on Friday, September 3 and conclude in Southampton on Saturday, September 25.

ANTHRAX's JOEY BELLADONNA Sings JOURNEY's 'Don't Stop Believin'' With STEEL PANTHER At Wisconsin's ROCK FEST (Video)ANTHRAX singer Joey Belladonna joined STEEL PANTHER on stage on Thursday, July 15 at the Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin to perform a cover version of the JOURNEY classic "Don't Stop Believin'". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below (courtesy of YouTube user "Concert Mania").
Two months ago, Belladonna told "The Johnny Dare Morning Show" thar his recently launched JOURNEY tribute band called JOEY BELLADONNA'S BEYOND THE BAND (formerly JOURNEY BEYOND) was "working on some recordings."
JOEY BELLADONNA'S BEYOND THE BAND, which also features keyboardist Doug Carter, bassist Paul Arntz, guitarist Matt Basford and drummer Justin Ward, made its live debut in March 2020 at The Beacon Theatre in Hopewell, Virginia.
Belladonna also touched upon his reasons for launching a JOURNEY tribute band, saying: "People ask why the hell I do it. I just like the songs. I've liked the band forever. And I just wanted to do it because I think it's a cool challenge and it's just fun music. I can't think of many bands that I'd like to do a whole evening of without trying to dress up and do everything they do. We just wanna be a band that plays that music. I don't care about the whole lookalike-type stuff. It's just about music. That's really all it is."
In an April 2020 interview with SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk", Belladonna stated about his approach to singing material that was originally written and recorded by Steve Perry: "Obviously, when you do [something like this], there's always open ground for [people to say], 'You didn't do that part, 'You didn't do this.' [But] I didn't wanna copy it note for note. Sometimes I just like to do my own thing with it. Represent it and do what you can, but I love to mess around with things. Not so much to try to be too different, but just make it cool and do it your own way versus trying to get every note. I'm sure some guys study every second of it. Even with ANTHRAX, I do songs different a lot of times. It's just fun that way. To do things off the cuff is fun for me versus trying to follow everything… I can study it all day, but I just don't feel like doing that. I wanna have a little fun doing my own thing with it."
When he is not busy touring and recording with ANTHRAX, Belladonna has been spending time playing drums and singing for a classic-rock covers band called CHIEF BIG WAY. The upstate New York-based group, which also features Dave Mickelson on bass, Joe Precourt on guitar and John Goodwin on keyboards, plays versions of songs from JOURNEY, AC/DC, ZZ TOP, BOSTON, CHEAP TRICK, FOREIGNER, PINK FLOYD, VAN HALEN, COLLECTIVE SOUL, THE WHO, THE DOORS, SHINEDOWN and BON JOVI, among others.
In a 2005 interview with MusicDish, Belladonna was asked about the rumor that he came to the table with a JOURNEY tune during his 1985 audition for ANTHRAX. "Actually, what happened was I went into the room and they said, 'Just go on in,' and they hadn't heard me sing," he said. "They'd heard of me and they asked me to come in, but we were going in to start tracking and stuff, to get the mic set up and all that and they said, 'Let's get you in there and get you warmed up.' I hit the mic and belted out some JOURNEY… I think it was [the song] 'Lights'. I didn't know what the hell I was getting into in the first place. I just wanted to lay some vocals or something. Just to kinda give an idea and that's what happened. It wasn't really anything more than that. I just kinda belched it out. I think I did 'Oh Sherrie' [written by Steve Perry], too, or something. I dunno why, but I just did. It was something off the top of my head I could do a cappella and it was kinda challenging. I thought maybe in range or something that would be kind of intriguing. It was definitely one they weren't expecting."
ANTHRAX's 2013 EP "Anthems" EP included the band's cover version of JOURNEY's "Keep On Runnin'" alongside classics by RUSH, THIN LIZZY, AC/DC, CHEAP TRICK and BOSTON. 2

Watch KORN Play First Show With SUICIDAL TENDENCIES Bassist ROBERTO 'RA' DÍAZKORN played its first show with Roberto "Ra" Díaz (SUICIDAL TENDENCIES) last night (Friday, July 16) at the Upheaval festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Fan-filmed video footage of the concert can be seen below (courtesy of the "BREWtally Speaking" podcast).
Díaz is filling in for Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu on KORN's current tour. Fieldy announced last month that he would sit out the trek in order to "heal" after "falling back" on some of his "bad habits."
"We appreciate your kind words of support in response to the recent tour update about @Fieldykorn," KORN wrote in a social media post on July 12. "While our brother takes some time to heal, we wanted to let you know that we are bringing our friend @Ra_Diaz from @SuicidalTendencies out with us this summer to fill in on KORN bass duties. We've all been rehearsing to get ready to bring the heat, and we can't wait to see you next month."
On June 21, Fieldy broke the news of his absence from the trek, writing in a social media update: "To all KORN fans worldwide. The past 6 years I've been dealing with some personal issues that at times have caused me to fall back on some of my bad habits and has caused some tension with the people around me. It's been suggested to me to take some time off to heal. I'm going to respect what was asked of me and take that time. Unfortunately you will not see me on stage with my band. I will be working towards getting the bad habits out of my system. In the meantime I will be staying creative to keep my mind & soul in a good place.
"I'm thankful for all of your support, patience & understanding as we all have something that we deal with.
"Jonathan, Munky, Ray and Head, I love you and I don't want to bring any tension or bad vibes to the circle."
A short time later, KORN's official social media shared Fieldy's statement, along with the following message: "We love and support our brother, Fieldy. Health and family always comes first."
In May, KORN announced a U.S. summer tour featuring special guests STAIND on all dates. Produced by Live Nation, the coast-to-coast 28-city outing will kick off August 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida and make stops in Long Island, Detroit, Irvine, Phoenix, Austin and more, before wrapping up with a performance at Dallas' Dos Equis Pavilion on September 21. Furthermore, both bands will perform at Louisville, Kentucky's Louder Than Life festival on September 23.
Back in 2017, METALLICA bassist Robert Trujillo's then-12-year-old son Tye Trujillo filled in on bass for KORN's South American tour after Fieldy was unable to make the shows due to "unforeseen circumstances."
Fieldy's 2009 memoir, "Got The Life: My Journey Of Addiction, Faith, Recovery And Korn", detailed his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction during KORN's early years and how he became a born-again Christian to help get his life together and get sober.
Fieldy's STILLWELL side project released its third album, "Supernatural Miracle", last September.
KORN's latest LP, "The Nothing", arrived in September 2019 via Roadrunner/Elektra. The follow-up to 2016's "The Serenity Of Suffering" was once again produced by Nick Raskulinecz. 3

Watch POP EVIL Perform With DEVOUR THE DAY Bassist, TED NUGENT DrummerFan-filmed video footage of POP EVIL's July 16 performance at the Upheaval festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan can be seen below.
POP EVIL's current touring lineup includes two session musicians: drummer Jason Hartless (TED NUGENT) and bassist Joey "Chicago" Walser of EGYPT CENTRAL and DEVOUR THE DAY.
Last weekend, POP EVIL's longtime bassist Matt DiRito announced his exit from the band, saying in a statement that "the details surrounding my departure are only known by a few people, and respectfully it will remain that way."
"Walking away from something I've helped build is not easy — but it is the best thing for the band, myself and our respective futures," he said. "POP EVIL will continue on and so will I, just not together."
POP EVIL drummer Hayley Cramer is being forced to miss the first couple of weeks of the band's U.S. tour because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
The U.K.-based musician, who joined the Michigan rockers in 2016, announced her absence from the first shows of the trek in a social media post on July 8.
She wrote: "Hey everyone! As I'm sure some of you have noticed, POP EVIL have started rehearsals yet I'm still here in the UK. So I just want to fill you all in with where we are at with regards to some travel logistics back to America.
"We have been able to secure a meeting with the consulate on the 21st of July to get my P1 visa renewed. The embassy is extremely backed up due to the pandemic, but our immigration team have really delivered. Some people are still waiting to obtain an appointment! This does mean unfortunately I will be missing the first couple of weeks of tour.
"I can't wait to get back to play shows in front of you all again. In the meantime, a fantastic drummer Jason Hartless will be filling in for me and will deliver a kick ass performance for sure!!
"I want to encourage you to continually show your love, encouragement and support to bands, musicians, crews and venues. We need all the help you can give to rebuild our precious yet vulnerable music industry. Live music in particular!
"Big love to you all. See you soon."
POP EVIL's "Versatile" tour kicked off on July 14 with an outdoor show in Lake County, Illinois and will run across the U.S. until September 23 including stops at several of the major rock festivals — Rocklahoma, Aftershock and Inkcarceration — as well as supporting SHINEDOWN. Support on the trek will come from special guests ZERO 9:36, BRKN LOVE and LIKE MACHINES (on select dates).
POP EVIL's latest album, "Versatile", features the No. 1 mainstream rock hit single "Breathe Again" — the band's sixth No. 1 single to date — alongside heavyweight tracks "Set Me Free", "Let The Chaos Reign" and Top 10 single "Work".
We got Jason M Hartless on drums dough
Miss you Chuck Alkazian!!!!
