Massachusetts metallers ALL THAT REMAINS have been holed up in a studio for the past month recording their fourth release. The new album, entitled "Overcome", is being produced by Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER) and is set for a late summer release.
Commented frontman Phil Labonte: "I'm really excited about this disc. It's a pretty different sound than our last one. It's shaping up to have a more biting tone. It's got tons of double bass, like twenty guitar solos and more hooks. It's a much darker record than 'The Fall of Ideals' and it's gonna reshape what people think when they think of ALL THAT REMAINS."
Immediately following the completion of the album, ALL THAT REMAINS will join the Warped Tour in progress for a three-week North American run.
ALL THAT REMAINS most recently completed a winter headlining tour across North America with support from CHIMAIRA, BLACK TIDE, DIVINE HERESY and LIGHT THIS CITY. Due up next is a nearly month-long stint on the main stage of Warped Tour 2008.
ALL THAT REMAINS' latest effort, "The Fall of Ideals", saw a July 2006 release through Prosthetic Records. Also recently released were a reissue of the band's previously out-of-print debut "Behind Silence and Solitude" as well as the band's first-ever DVD, "Live".
