SEETHER To Release 'Vicennial - 2 Decades Of SEETHER' Career-Spanning Compilation

SEETHER To Release 'Vicennial - 2 Decades Of SEETHER' Career-Spanning Compilation

SEETHER's upcoming album, "Vicennial - 2 Decades Of Seether", tells the remarkable story of the South African quartet's career and chart-topping success. The 20 songs on this compilation have amassed 16 No. 1 chart positions and all are Top 5 multi-format radio hits. This collection is an audio summary of the first 20 years of Billboard's No. 8 all-time Mainstream Rock artists, which covers the 40-year history of the chart's existence. The album, due for release on October 15 via Craft Recordings, was carefully curated by frontman Shaun Morgan and highlights tracks from his band's eight full-length albums — including early breakthrough singles "Broken" and "Fine Again"; the recent No. 1 on both the Rock and Active Rock charts, "Dangerous"; as well as their fan favorite cover of WHAM's "Careless Whisper". Known for their dedication to their fans, SEETHER selected fan submitted artwork for the album cover. Pre-orders for "Vicennial - 2 Decades Of Seether" begin today, including a Seether.com-exclusive 1,000-unit limited-edition custom mixed opaque purple 2-LP vinyl.

On October 7, to celebrate the album's release, the band will perform all 20 tracks in sequence live one time only At Ace Of Spades in Sacramento, California. This event is an Aftershock After Party for the opening night of the sold-out Aftershock festival, where the band will be appearing on October 8 with METALLICA, RANCID and others.

Since SEETHER isn't able to tour outside of the U.S. right now, they wanted to find another way to bring this special show to their fans around the world. On November 11, the band is hosting a special "Vicennial - Live Online" event through a partnership with the premium digital live platform Moment House. There will be shows at 6 p.m. PST, 6 p.m. GMT and 6 p.m. JST where fans are able to vote for that time zone's 10-song set. Additionally, the band will be appearing live for question-and-answer sessions and virtual meet-and-greets. Tickets for "Vicennial - Live Online", as well as bundles that include merch and an exclusive 500-unit limited-edition custom mixed opaque pink color 2-LP vinyl of "Vicennial", are on sale now at Seether.com.

Reflecting on the band's career, Morgan says: "Twenty years is a major milestone for us; we've been on an amazing ride — alongside our fans — and we plan to continue that journey. Putting 'Vicennial' together gave us a chance to look back on our body of work over the years, and to rediscover some of our older songs during the pandemic that brought us all to a standstill. We hope that everyone enjoys the compilation as much as we do now, after this historic lockdown, and we look forward to seeing our fans again at live shows in the future."

"Vicennial - 2 Decades Of Seether" features the following tracks:

01. Fake It

02. Remedy

03. Fine Again

04. Broken

05. Words As Weapons

06. Country Song

07. Let You Down

08. Rise Above This

Watch Maskless COREY TAYLOR Perform SLIPKNOT's 'Wait And Bleed' With His Solo Band For First Time

Watch Maskless COREY TAYLOR Perform SLIPKNOT's 'Wait And Bleed' With His Solo Band For First Time

Corey Taylor performed the classic SLIPKNOT song "Wait And Bleed" live with his solo band for the first time this past Thursday (August 12) at Fargo Brewing Company in Fargo, North Dakota. The SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR singer also played the track the following night (Friday, August 13) at The District in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Fan-filmed video footage of both concerts can be seen below.

"Wait And Bleed" was the lead single from SLIPKNOT's self-titled debut album, which came out in 1999. The song was written by Taylor and SLIPKNOT's founding drummer Joey Jordison, who passed away last month. Jordison told Kerrang! about the track: "I wrote the music for 'Wait And Bleed' on my own… I showed it to the guys at rehearsal, and then Corey wrote some lyrics really fast in our practice space… He took us to a new level immediately." Taylor added about "Wait And Bleed"'s lyrical theme: "The song's about that switch in your head that can go at any moment. You go from being a civilized human being to someone who can commit terrible acts. I've always been fascinated by the fact we represent ourselves as civilized when, at any moment, we can become animals."

Taylor, who plays his solo shows without SLIPKNOT's trademark masks and coveralls, told Ireland's Overdrive in a 2019 interview that he couldn't see SLIPKNOT ever going unmasked. "It's such a part of our art," he said. "It's also part of the reason why we change the masks with every album. Unlike KISS, they have always used the same makeup and it never evolved. For us, we've changed with every album and not only the masks but also the outfits. You can totally tell every album by the uniform. I think things like that have kept SLIPKNOT relevant, it's kept the music vibrant, it's kept the live shows different and it's kept us from stagnating. So, no, I could never see us losing the masks. If we ever got the notion to do SLIPKNOT unmasked, I think I'd be, like, 'Well... eh, no.' We are all in our 40s now and we still very much have a love/hate relationship with what we do but every time we step on stage, we're absolutely prepared to give it everything we've got. So, for me, personally, when that feeling stops, when we start trying to cut corners and try to make things easier, just so we can 'get on with it,' that's when it's gonna be time to call it a day."

Taylor kicked off his "CMFTour" summer 2021 tour on August 6 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada. The trek features special guests CHERRY BOMBS, led by Taylor's wife Alicia Taylor, on all dates. The shows find Taylor and his band running through anthems from his critically acclaimed solo debut "CMFT", choice cuts from his SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR catalogs, and various covers and surprises.

2021 has been as busy as ever for Taylor. Having recently wrapped the sold-out spring leg of his "CMFTour", which he documented in a series of "Tour Diaries" for Rolling Stone, Taylor also recently released an inspired new cover of CROSBY, STILLS, NASH & YOUNG's "Carry On" and fronted GROUND CONTROL, a supergroup also comprised of Taylor Hawkins (FOO FIGHTERS), Dave Navarro (JANE'S ADDICTION) and Chris Chaney (JANE'S ADDICTION) performing at "The Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day" in tribute to the late David Bowie.

"CMFT" made impressive debuts on charts around the world in October, entering at No. 1 on Billboard's Current Hard Rock Albums chart, while claiming No. 2 on Current Rock Albums, No. 6 on Vinyl Albums, and No. 9 on the Top Albums charts. Furthermore, "CMFT" landed Top 10 on the official album charts in Australia, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, with Top 20 debuts in the United Kingdom, Finland and Japan (international chart).

"CMFT" was recorded at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas with producer Jay Ruston and Corey's recording band — Christian Martucci (guitar), Zach Throne (guitar), Jason Christopher (bass), and Dustin Schoenhofer (drums).

SABATON Announces 'The War To End All Wars' Album

SABATON Announces 'The War To End All Wars' Album

Swedish metallers SABATON have announced their new album "The War To End All Wars".

The band stated about the upcoming disc: "For almost two decades we have been singing about historical battles and wars from all over the world.

"Two years have passed since the release of our latest album 'The Great War', a concept album telling stories from World War I. Since then we've all been trying to decide on the next chapter of our storytelling. Will it again be Swedish history? The American Civil War, the story of Napoleon, or maybe the Crusades?

No dear friends.. We will focus once again on the beginning of the 20th century.

"We give you: 'The War To End All Wars'!

"We believe there's more to discover in this particular moment of history. There are still so many stories from World War One to be told. In time we will learn them all..."

In a new interview with Canada's The Metal Voice, SABATON frontman Joakim Brodén said about the musical direction of the band's new material (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "It's very much a SABATON album in that way. We've been an evolutionary band always and not a revolutionary band. There's always surprises on a SABATON album but we're never gonna flip the coin and do something totally different on every song on a new album. There's gonna be surprises on every album. I'm actually listening to and approving the master of the new album right now.

"It's always subjective," he continued. "I think it's pathetic when an artist goes, 'It's the best album we've ever made,' and they keep promoting the same tired line. I say it's up to the listener to decide that, but I know for a fact that everybody in the band, without even sitting in the same room together, because I sort of shipped out the pre-mixes to everyone, and everybody — this is the only time in our history this has happened — everybody came back with, 'Fuck. That sounds great.' Everybody is super happy with the production. We were always happy before, but it was, like, 'Maybe this, maybe that.' Now it was more like, 'Okay, yeah, I have some suggestions and ideas, but wow.' We're really happy with the sound."

Brodén also confirmed that none of SABATON's recently released singles — including "Livgardet", "Defence Of Moscow" and "Kingdom Come/Metal Trilogy" — will be included on the upcoming full-length effort. "They're totally separate from the new album," he said. "We had some time, and we don't like sitting still. Those are not on the album at all. We have a complete album, plus those tracks, plus a bit more."

SABATON is arguably the most important band to emerge from the modern Swedish metal scene, journeying forth with confidence on a steady ascendance that's rewarded them with five Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards (including "Best Live Band" three different years) and multiple nominations for the Swedish equivalent of the Grammy Awards, the Grammis. In 2016, "The Last Stand" debuted at No. 1 in three different European countries and cracked the Top 3 in four others. Brodén, Pär Sundström (bass), Chris Rörland (guitar), Hannes Van Dahl (drums) and Tommy Johansson (guitar) curate a festival of their own, Sabaton Open Air, that started back in 2008, as well as their own forward-thinking Sabaton Cruise, that is being held since 2009. Their last album "The Great War" cracked the Top 10 in 11 countries, including No. 1 positions in Switzerland, Germany and Sweden.

SABATON announced its "Tour To End All Tours" last month: in spring 2022, SABATON will be visiting 26 cities in 17 countries, bringing their ground-breaking modern metal to the people and delivering breathtaking live shows in a setting that will once again set new bars for concerts of this kind. SABATON will be supported by Mongolian rock band THE HU and Finnish heavy metal veterans LORDI.

SABATON will be the special guest on JUDAS PRIEST's upcoming "50 Years Of Metal" U.S. tour that starts September 8 in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Watch VINCE NEIL Play Two More Solo Concerts This Weekend

Watch VINCE NEIL Play Two More Solo Concerts This Weekend

Fan-filmed video footage of MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil performing two separate concerts this weekend — Friday, August 13 at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana and Saturday, August 14 at The Regalia in Lake Ozark, Missouri — can be seen below.

This weekend's shows came more than two months after Neil struggled to complete his solo concert at the Boone Iowa River Valley Festival in Boone. Based on fan-filmed video footage of the gig posted on YouTube, the 60-year-old rocker, who hadn't performed in more than a year and a half due to the COVID-19 pandemic, began losing his voice several songs into his set, which consisted exclusively of CRÜE classics and cover songs previously recorded by the band.

14 songs into the performance, Vince attempted to sing CRÜE's smash hit "Girls, Girls, Girls" but gave up mid-song, explaining to the crowd: "Hey, guys… I'm sorry, you guys. It's been a long time playin'. My fuckin' voice is gone… Eh… We love you, and we'll hopefully see you next time, man. Take care."

After Neil walked off the stage, his backing band — which still consists of bassist Dana Strum and guitarist Jeff "Blando" Bland from SLAUGHTER, along with drummer Zoltan Chaney — continued to play the song, singing along to what appeared to be pre-recorded backing vocals.

MÖTLEY CRÜE's "The Stadium Tour" with DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS was originally scheduled to take place last summer but ended up being pushed back to 2021, and then to 2022, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In December 2019, CRÜE manager Allen Kovac told Fox Business that "some of" the bandmembers had enlisted outside help to get in shape for the trek. Kovac was referring to criticism of Neil for his supposed diminished singing ability and weight gain, as well as the health status of guitarist Mick Mars, who has been dealing with a chronic form of arthritis that led him to undergo a hip replacement.

Kovac explained: "Some of them are working with a trainer, some of them are working with a nutritionist to make themselves the best they can be. The greatest insecurity for an artist is: Is anyone going to care about my music? Is anyone going to buy a ticket? We were in November [2019] when the discussions were happening, and these guys were already into regimens of how they get ready for a tour."

Speaking specifically about Neil, Kovac added: "Let's see what Vince sings like and looks like when the tour goes out."

CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx also said that Vince was "killing it" while working with "trainers" and "nutritionists" in preparation for "The Stadium Tour".

GENE SIMMONS On DONALD TRUMP Presidency: It Was 'Beyond Anything I Ever Thought Imaginable'

GENE SIMMONS On DONALD TRUMP Presidency: It Was 'Beyond Anything I Ever Thought Imaginable'

In a new interview with Yahoo!'s Lyndsey Parker, KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons spoke about the negative response he gets from some of his fans every time he shares his pro-vaccine stance on Twitter.

"It's been politicized," he said. "The gentleman who was in office, the former president [Donald Trump], I knew before the political world. It's the same person I knew before; the stripes of a tiger don't change. And the unfortunate thing is that… Look, we all lie to some extent, but what happened the last four years was beyond anything I ever thought imaginable from people who had lots of power — not just him, but the administration, everybody. And unfortunately, that disease — The Big Lie notwithstanding — has really infected a large portion of the population.

"So the Earth is not flat. This guy that came with guns and started shooting up a pizza parlor 'cause he thought there was child trafficking in the basement and stuff, something Hillary [Clinton was supposedly involved with]," he continued, referencing "Pizzagate", a debunked conspiracy theory that went viral during the 2016 United States presidential election cycle. "And when the cops came and took him down, he was screaming, 'Save the children.' He believed in the lie. All these QAnon people.

"I do have to say one thing: if disillusionment and semi-insanity... they're still Americans," Gene added. "And I think just keep pushing fact and not fiction; keep fighting it. Because whether you do it with a religious symbol hanging over your head or 'Q' on your t-shirt and all that stuff, they're lies, and science is the only friend you've got, whether you like it or not. So, you just have to keep pushing [facts]. Then there are religious folks who don't like to be told… 'Don't tell me what to do in my church.' Well, okay, but as soon as these people are gonna start suing each other, you're gonna be in a court of law and your God is not gonna save you."

Asked to elaborate on his previous comment that Trump is "the same person" he knew when he was a contestant on Trump's "The Celebrity Apprentice" series, Gene said: "We were in a restaurant together, and I happened to be with an attractive young lady. And he walked up and said, 'Hey, Gene, you and I, we're exactly the same. We like the hot chicks.' That was a strange thing to say, but yeah, I guess that's true. But I think it's the same person. And maybe that was the appeal and continues to be. People are sick and tired of politically correct language and stuff.

"In a political dialogue, if somebody spews complete fiction and QAnon stuff, you wanna be able to have somebody who says, 'Are you out of your fucking mind? Did you just shit your diapers and forget to wipe it?'" Simmons added. "We're looking for that politician who just says instead of watching your language. Because the other side will spew garbage and lies and everything. This guy [Governor Ron] DeSantis in Florida, who's a wonderful human being — I'm sure he loves his family — and yet won't come out and say there's a real problem [with his approach to the COVID-19 pandemic]. 'We leave it up to parents to decide [whether their children should wear face masks in schools].' No. It should be a mandate. What do airlines, Microsoft, Facebook and all these other entities know that your school shouldn't know, which is children can infect everybody. You're in a closed environment. Okay, we're not gonna force you to vaccine your children. At least wear masks in school."

Back in 2019, Simmons said that Trump had "forever changed" politics. He added that "earth has never been in better shape" than it was in the summer of 2019. "I know — climate change and a polarized political thing — but there are no more world wars," he stated at the time. "I mean, imagine what London looked like 60 years ago. This is the best of times. Unemployment in the United States is the lowest it's been in 50 years — 5-0. When I rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange at their behest, the Dow [Jones Industrial Average] was about 8,000. It's almost 27,000 today. More people are working. More people are making more money. Unions are more powerful."

In the past, Gene had defended Trump's occasional off-color remarks and frequently outrageous statements, saying: "I don't know anybody here who hasn't said stupid things publicly or privately. You've said potty words and so have I. So I'm gonna give the guy who was duly elected a chance to show us what he can do, and then I'll judge his legacy."

Simmons said that he "didn't necessarily vote for Trump or [Hillary] Clinton" in the 2016 presidential election, adding that "it's really nobody's damn business" whom he voted for. "I think you'd be surprised by my choice — but he's President Trump, because even if you don't like the man, you must respect the office of the presidency and the will of the Electoral College," he said.

In 2017, Simmons confirmed that KISS was inivited to perform at Trump's inauguration but turned it down because it was "not a good idea."

JOHN CORABI Says A Lot Of People Started Treating Him Differently After He Joined MÖTLEY CRÜE

JOHN CORABI Says A Lot Of People Started Treating Him Differently After He Joined MÖTLEY CRÜE

In a recent interview with Guitar Wishes, former MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman John Corabi, who joined the band in 1992 as the replacement for original singer Vince Neil, discussed some of the lessons he has learned from his three decades in the music business. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "When money comes to play, in between a relationship, when money becomes whatever, you really find out who your friends are. People, you can be great friends with 'em, but 'it's just business,' is the line you hear all the time.

"I did a few things early on in my career with contracts and different things, thinking, 'We're bros, man. They'll never screw me over,' just assuming that everybody would look at it the way I look at it. People don't. And that's something that I had to learn. The other thing I had to learn was when I was in MÖTLEY, there was a lot of people — and Tommy [Lee, drums] and Nikki [Sixx, bass] told me in the very beginning that this was gonna happen. And I was, like, 'Nah, nah, nah. Not my friends.' [They told me], 'You're gonna find out people treat you differently because of the situation you're in.' And at first I didn't think it would happen. And then I really kind of realized, 'Oh, I'm still the same guy. Everybody else around me is changing.' Everybody started calling me, 'Hey, dude, can you lend me five grand?' 'Hey, dude, can you get a limo and get us tickets for the TESLA show?' 'Hey, dude, can you…?' And then as soon as it was over, it was like crickets. But I had a few very tight little circle of friends that were with me before MÖTLEY, during MÖTLEY and after MÖTLEY. And then I went, 'Ah, okay.' So I would tell myself, 'Listen, you're gonna get this MÖTLEY gig. Everybody else is a clinger. Those little batch of friends that you've got there, those five or six people that aren't ever gonna be afraid to tell you, 'You're an asshole…'' Whatever.

"I think, really, that's it," he added. "I wouldn't change anything. Everything happened the way it happened. And I actually have it tattooed here [on my chest]; it's Italian. But I firmly believe even when shit goes wrong for you, regardless of whether you're a musician, whether you're a plumber — whatever — this phrase says, 'Life is as it should be.' Even when something bad's happening, you have to look at it, make some adjustments, move forward and learn from it. And I think I have, with everything."

With Corabi on vocals, MÖTLEY CRÜE released one critically acclaimed full-length CD, which ended up being a commercial failure in the wake of grunge despite a Top 10 placing on the album chart. When Neil returned to the fold in 1997, Corabi was left on his own and formed the band UNION with ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.

Corabi in 2016 said that he would avoid talking about MÖTLEY CRÜE in the future because he didn't want his comments about Sixx to descend into a feud.

In an interview with Sweden Rock Magazine, Nikki said that writing the "Mötley Crüe" LP with Corabi was a prolonged and difficult experience. He went to call it "a very unfocused record" that was "painful for me, because John Corabi can't write lyrics, and I had to do all that work."

In February 2018, Corabi released a live album of his performance of MÖTLEY CRÜE's entire 1994 self-titled album, recorded on October 27, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee. "Live '94: One Night In Nashville" documents the album in its entirety along with the bonus track "10,000 Miles", which was originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the "Quaternary" EP.

Watch YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Perform In Houston

Watch YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Perform In Houston

Fan-filmed video footage of Yngwie Malmsteen's July 31 performance at Warehouse Live in Houston, Texas can be seen below.

Yngwie's new album, "Parabellum", was released on July 23 via Music Theories Recordings/Mascot Label Group. Only four of the songs on the LP feature vocals. The album title is Latin, translating as "Prepare For War".

After working with some of the top hard singers of the past four decades, Yngwie now handles much of the lead vocals himself in his own band, backed by a lineup that includes keyboardist Nick Marino, bassist/vocalist Ralph Ciavolino and drummer Brian Wilson.

In June, Yngwie announced a month-long fall 2021 U.S. tour. Support on the trek will come from former MARILYN MANSON and current ROB ZOMBIE guitarist John 5.

During a recent YouTube livestream for his 58th birthday, Malmsteen was asked if he would ever consider making an album that is reminiscent of his earlier efforts, as requested by some of his biggest fans. He responded: "Obviously, I'm very flattered that so many people like what I do, but I'm also aware that a lot of people don't like what I do. So what I end up doing is I don't make albums on request — except [2019's] 'Blue Lightning' [which paid homage to those from the blues world who have inspired him] was a little bit like a request album, a little bit, although I did what I wanted anyway. But especially on this last album, 'Parabellum', it's a very, very honest album. It's exactly what comes out of me — exactly. And some people have heard it and they say that it reminds them of the older days. And that's fine. And if it doesn't, it doesn't. It wasn't intentional."

He continued: "I just do what I feel like doing. And what I've done in the past is in the past. And I'm not gonna go back, 'Oh, yeah, maybe I should do that. Maybe I should not.' I don't work like that. I actually let it flow naturally. It has to come to me like a spontaneous thing for me to love it. And even though I actually could do things on request — if you want me to, I can write a country and western song right now; I could do that, but I don't want to do that. I wanna make music that comes from within me as a spontaneous, honest expression. And if people love it, I'm very happy. If they don't, I won't change it anyway."

ERIC MARTIN Says He Is Partly To Blame For MR. BIG Not Continuing After PAT TORPEY's Death

ERIC MARTIN Says He Is Partly To Blame For MR. BIG Not Continuing After PAT TORPEY's Death

Eric Martin says that he "might have put the kibosh on" MR. BIG doing something again in the foreseeable future.

The singer made the comment while discussing MR. BIG's decision to go on hiatus following the passing of Pat Torpey. The drummer died in February 2018 at the age of 64 from complications of Parkinson's disease.

Speaking to Metal Edge magazine's "Another FN Podcast With Izzy Presley", Eric said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "When Pat passed, I was pissed, sad that this happened and I didn't know what was gonna happen with the band. I was so scatterbrained when that happened.

"Matt Starr was playing with us as [the main] drummer, and Pat was playing a cocktail kit on the side and doing all the background vocals. And he was great. And he passed away, and we had some gigs booked — a tour booked, in Australia with EXTREME. And we also did some clubs and festivals in Europe with FOZZY. And I look back and Pat Torpey is no longer there, and it's just Matt. And the band sounded so different to me. It was the music, but it's a different sound to MR. BIG. And then we got off the road and we discussed maybe getting another drummer to do a last tour — the last hurrah. And I suggested this kid — his name is Edu Cominato. He was a great drummer. He played with Jeff Scott Soto and Geoff Tate too. And he was a phenomenal drummer and could sing. And he loved Pat Torpey. And he had his snare drum toned down, the whole bit. And Paul [Gilbert, guitar] actually went to South America and did some clinics or some shows and met with Edu and they had played together.

"I don't know what happened," he continued. "I was starting to get phone calls from other drummers. And I love Edu. And he's probably gonna hear this for the first time. I'm the one who brought him up, and I kind of cockblocked him in a way. Other drummers were coming out of the woodwork saying, 'Oh, I'd love to play on MR. BIG's record.' And I was thinking record — I was totally thinking Edu to play on the record. But I was also thinking — me and my big mouth — I was saying, 'Gregg Bissonette.' 'Ray Luzier.' I brought up all these names, and I could totally tell Billy and Paul were just… They were going through the grieving process as well. And I was too much of a scatterbrain. I didn't have my shit together. I made another bad choice. I thought it was a great choice because it was paying homage to Pat. All the people who Pat loved, and that kid in South America who loved Pat. But I couldn't make up my mind. And I think Paul and Billy — mainly Paul — just went, 'Let's just take a breather.' And we've been taking a lot of breaths for a long time. And then the COVID thing happened, and all I thought about was that. But, yeah, I might have put the kibosh on the MR. BIG gig for a while."

Eric added: "I would love to do a record because I enjoy making music with MR. BIG and writing with Paul — and Billy as well. I would like to close the door on MR. BIG in a good way. Not, like, 'Pat passed away and then…'

"I'm not blaming myself completely. I'm just saying I think I might have had a little to do with not moving forward. My intentions were great; they were honorable. I was thinking of Pat, but I thought about Pat so much. I [was], like, 'We have to have a great drummer. We have to have an amazing drummer, somebody who's that level.' And, ugh — me and my Mr. Big Mouth strikes again."

In May 2020, Sheehan gave an interview to the "Music Mania" podcast in which he claimed that a "mastering problem" with MR. BIG's latest album, "Defying Gravity", which came out four years ago, made the LP "unlistenable." He went on to say that "the label ruined the record" by insisting on having the album and "putting it out when it's not ready." He explained: "If we had another day to get it to proper mastering and get it done right, it would have been fine. 'Cause I was there for the final mixes — I went in there every day and listened to mixes. Pat was there with us too. We went through the mixes, and they were sounding great. And, unfortunately, we got screwed.

"I've seen it before in many other situations with many other bands," he added. "We've got the marketing department and they're ready to go and they've gotta have the record now. And then I've also seen other bands just say, 'No. The record is not done. You're out of luck.' And I wish we would have just said that, because I just don't think the record had the kind of life it had when I heard the final mixes."

A short time later, Frontiers Music Srl released a statement clarifying that it wasn't the label responsible for "ruining" "Defying Gravity", which marked Torpey's final recorded appearance with MR. BIG.

"Defying Gravity" was released via Wowow Entertainment, Inc. in Japan and Frontiers Music Srl in most of the rest of the world.

After announcing his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2014, Torpey continued to write, record and perform with MR. BIG, who also recruited Matt Starr to share drum duties.

MR. BIG, formed in 1988, produced numerous hit songs that ranged across a wide array of rock genres — be it ballads, heavy metal, or blues rock. Their hits include "Alive And Kicking", "Just Take My Heart" and the chart-topping ballad "To Be With You".

This past February, MR. BIG released a new live set, "Raw Like Sushi Mega Edition - Revive 2017: 2017 Japan Tour Official Bootleg Box". A complete collection of MR. BIG's 2017 performances in Japan, it features all nine concerts which took place between September and October of that year.

PARADOX Streaming New Song "Mountains And Caves"

PARADOX Streaming New Song "Mountains And Caves"

When today’s thrash metal classic Heresy was released in 1990, the world was different. The internet was nearly unknown. Mobiles were as big as buffalo bones. Wacken Open Air was a party for the village louts. These are stories from a long forgotten time. But Charly Steinhauer and his band Paradox are still here and September 24 will see them release their brand new, eighth studio album, Heresy II - End Of A Legend, via AFM Records.

The roots of the band go way back to 1981. After several changes of names, Paradox was born in 1986. Their debut, Product Of Imagination (1987), came like a fresh breeze blowing through the scene, their concept album “Heresy” was the international breakthrough and catapulted the band into the first league of cult thrashers. More than 30 years later, Paradox is finally releasing its worthy successor, Heresy II - End Of A Legend.

After previously-released album singles, “Priestly Vows” and “The Visitors”, today Paradox premier another blistering song taken from their upcoming magnum opus. Listen to the brutally fast-paced thrash juggernaut, “Mountains And Caves“:

Watch IRON MAIDEN's BRUCE DICKINSON Sing A Cappella Version Of 'Tears Of The Dragon' In Nottingham

Watch IRON MAIDEN's BRUCE DICKINSON Sing A Cappella Version Of 'Tears Of The Dragon' In Nottingham

Fan-filmed video footage of Bruce Dickinson belting out an a cappella version of "Tears Of The Dragon", the first single from his second solo album, 1994's "Balls To Picasso", during his August 7 spoken-word show in Nottingham, U.K. can be seen below.

Earlier this week, the IRON MAIDEN singer confirmed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 after being vaccinated.

Dickinson received a positive diagnosis just days after he abruptly postponed the last two dates of his U.K. spoken-word tour because a member of his immediate household contracted the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

Bruce told Rolling Stone he took a lateral-flow COVID test after he started feeling like he was getting a cold, and it came back positive. "I thought, 'Oh well, shit,'" he said. "I was kind of sneezing a bit. For a couple of days, I felt a bit groggy, kind of like the flu, and that was it. And I'm 63 years old. I've pretty much got no doubt that had I not had the vaccine, I could be in serious trouble."

IRON MAIDEN's new album, "Senjutsu", will be released on September 3 via BMG. It was recorded in Paris with longstanding producer Kevin Shirley and co-produced by bassist Steve Harris.

The video for the LP's first single, "The Writing On The Wall", was made by BlinkInk based on a concept by Dickinson with two former Pixar executives. It followed a month-long teaser campaign and global "treasure hunt" for clues about the track title and concept.

GILBY CLARKE - "Rock N' Roll Definitely Keeps You Young; It's The Freedom To Be Yourself"

GILBY CLARKE - "Rock N' Roll Definitely Keeps You Young; It's The Freedom To Be Yourself"

In April 2021, Gilby Clarke released his first new solo album in nearly two decades via Golden Robot Records! Gilby’s new album The Gospel Truth is full of fist-pumping rock ‘n’ roll songs with fat choruses, bluesy licks and his trademark solos! It’s classic rock, a new version of what Gilby likes to do and that’s… loud guitars!

Clarke recently spoke with Guitar World about the record. Check out an excerpt from the interview below.

GW: Your last solo album, Swag, came out in 2001. Why such a long gap?

Clarke: "I actually never set out to be a solo artist; it was just something I did in my spare time. I had songs, I made a record, then another. As time went on, I started getting a lot of live dates as a solo artist and never really considered that I needed to make a record every couple of years. But then I just thought, goddamn it, you have to make records, it’s the creative part of who you are."

GW: I always say rock ’n’ roll is the elixir of youth. You barely seem to have aged in 20 years. Would you subscribe to this theory?

Clarke: "I agree. It is amazing, because I’m 58 and when I go back to see my friends who are the same age it seems like they’re all getting on a bit (laughs). I do have to dye my hair, though (laughs). Rock ’n’ roll definitely keeps you young; it’s the freedom to be yourself and not follow the same rules as everybody else."

Read the complete interview here.

Behold the teaser for The Gospel Truth:

The Gospel Truth features legendary Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx, as well as drumming from John Mellencamp, Chickenfoot sticksman Kenny Aronoff and Stephen Perkins from Jane’s Addiction, Porno For Pyros, and Infectious Grooves.

The album has already spawned three killer singles in "Rock n’ Roll Is Getting Louder" (a pure rock n’ roll track doused with the influences that run through Gilby’s veins), "Tightwad" (featuring Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx) and the title track, a song about the concept of truth today. DAVID LEE ROTH Shares 'La Covida' Artwork

DAVID LEE ROTH Shares 'La Covida' Artwork

Since April 2020, VAN HALEN singer David Lee Roth has spent much of his time creating COVID-themed drawings — he calls them comics — and then sharing the finished works on his social media channels. His latest three pieces of artwork, including two that he calls "Dixie" and "La Covida", can be found below.

According to a New York Times profile from last summer, Roth picked up the pen and ink during his coronavirus lockdown, but he had long been interested in art.

"My approach is the best of both worlds: vintage and hyper-atomic digital," he said. "Sort of like watching 'Dragnet' on your iPad.

"You know, I moved to Japan for two-plus years to study Sumi-e and calligraphy, and four nights a week I trained and then I did homework. Jesus, I've spent thousands of hours learning to operate a horsehair brush with a block of ink that I grind myself. Hasn't changed its recipe in 700 years.

"So everything in the comics is hand-drawn — all the typeface, all the colors, the line work, the lighting," he explained. "And once I'm done, I work with Colin Smith, the Led Zeppelin of Adobe Photoshop. Together we scan everything, and then I'm able to move into areas that otherwise weren't graphically available without decades of effort."

This is not the first time Roth has shared some of his visual art with the public. Back in 2009, Roth released dozens of his own drawings and artwork, which he called at the time "authentic originals and incompetent imitations." He offered them up as "an official answer to the question 'what do you do in your spare time?'"

According to the Van Halen News Desk, the VAN HALEN frontman always been into art. Throughout his whole life, while touring the world, you could find him doodling on just about anything — setlists, tour riders, female body parts, etc. He was always a major part of the visual side of VAN HALEN, and always tried to make the stage show "look like the music sounds." He designed stage clothes, orchestrated photo shoots, came up with the stage choreography, etc. He also had a hand in designing VAN HALEN's early tourbooks and a few of their t-shirts.

In March 2020, Roth postponed the final six shows of his Las Vegas residency due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Roth performed as the opening act for the February/March 2020 North American leg of KISS's "End Of The Road" farewell tour.

VAN HALEN guitarist Eddie Van Halen died of cancer in October at age 65.

Roth, who performed with VAN HALEN for the last time in 2015, tweeted shortly after Eddie's death: "What a long great trip it's been."

DONNA CANNONE Featuring SOILWORK Frontman BJÖRN "SPEED" STRID On Guitar, Ex-THUNDERMOTHER Members Release New Single / Video "Nothing To Do"

DONNA CANNONE Featuring SOILWORK Frontman BJÖRN "SPEED" STRID On Guitar, Ex-THUNDERMOTHER Members Release New Single / Video "Nothing To Do"

September 25th, 2020 saw the release of the debut single from Donna Cannone, "Cross The Line". They have released the new single "Nothing To Do", what the band describes as "a song about the division, isolation and negativity created by the frenetic usage of social media. An inspiration to look at the real world and to explore friendship that might be right there, next to you".

"It all started as a game, something fun to do. As it should be."

And with that, Donna Cannone was born. Former Thundermother member Giorgia Cateri (guitars) and her fellow Italian ex-pat Luca D’Andria found themselves heading to a rehearsal room a short while ago to play some music and, in their own words, "have some fun." Giorgia's former Thundermother bandmate Tilda Stenqvist was brought in on drums as the trio began putting together a number of new songs. A knock at the door brought a surprise as, guitar in hand, Bjorn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork, Night Flight Orchestra) had heard what the band were up to and wanted in. Soon the quartet were recording demos, and one of these demos fell into the hands of Swedish label Despotz Records and a deal was soon done.

"It is with great excitement we announce our signing with Despotz Records. We believe we can achieve some amazing things together and this unit is currently brewing something very interesting. -Something real, wicked, and fiery, that will both cross bridges and cross lines."

The first fruits of this collaboration is the band's debut single - the infectious "Cross The Line", taken from their upcoming album scheduled for early 2021.

PARALANDRA Release New Single / Video "Despicable"

Paralandra, fronted by Casandra Carson - who also sings in The L.I.F.E. Project alongside Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand - spent the Spring of 2021 in the studio with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Alter Bridge, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators, Sevendust).

Kicking things off with this track, here’s what vocalist / guitarist Casandra Carson had to say to RJ Frometa of Vents Magazine: "We are so incredibly excited to finally unleash 'Despicable' to the world! Our producer, Elvis Baskette, truly brought our idea to life, and we couldn’t be happier with the final product."

This song was written by Casandra about some people in her life who constantly criticized her for being herself, and pushed their beliefs on her; calling her despicable. But she has reversed the roles with this song. Calling them out for their hypocrisy, and owning her truth.

GHOST BATH To Release Self Loather Album In October; "Convince Me To Bleed" Visualizer Video Posted

GHOST BATH To Release Self Loather Album In October; "Convince Me To Bleed" Visualizer Video Posted

Atmospheric black metallers, Ghost Bath, will release their fourth full-length album, Self Loather, on October 29 via Nuclear Blast Records. On the album, the band closes out the trilogy - tragedy, ecstasy, and dread/hatred - and hosts their most devastating and dark music to date.

Today, the band releases the first single, "Convince Me To Bleed". Check out the visualizer below.

Dennis Mikula comments, “'Self Loather' was always a part of my creative vision. I had imagined this final record of the trilogy to be heavier, more devastating, dark, and vicious. It is by far the record most filled with hatred. The three basic human emotions I wanted to capture were tragedy ('Moonlover'), ecstasy ('Starmourner'), and dread/hatred ('Self Loather'). While at the same time, all of these express depression and sorrow. I believe in this record we found our sound. The original title was Sunloather, and though I hate the sun, I found that it did not fit with the theme of everything we were forming. There is something I hate much more than the sun. And so we made the decision to forego the cosmic prefix and replace it with the true nature of this album. Self."

Pre-order your copy of Self Loather here. Pre-save the album here.

Self Loather will be available in the following formats:

- CD Jewel
- CD Digipak
- Vinyl

CARNIFEX Release Live Video For "Slit Wrist Savior" Single

CARNIFEX Release Live Video For "Slit Wrist Savior" Single

Carnifex have returned to ignite sonic memories of albums past with the scorch of old-school sound. On September 3, the band will release their eighth studio album via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, they release tthe live video for the track "Slit Wrist Savior". The video, filmed during their Road to Rock Fest 2021 tour, can be seen below.

The band comments, "We revisited 'Slit Wrist Savior' all these years later to remind ourselves where we started and to remind the fans what having fun in the pit is all about.”

Carnifex’s Graveside Confessions is no stranger to the harsh world in which it was created. While all of humanity experiences the turmoil of pain, weakness, and betrayal, it is also deeply ingrained in our nature to keep these notions closely protected; to keep them secret. Often as we approach death, we feel an insatiable need to reveal these things to one another; to confess.

The album arose just in time to aid in celebrating the 15 year anniversary of the debut Carnifex album, Dead In My Arms. The band revisited their first album to re-record three songs, but now with huge advancements in production technology. A return to their roots, these songs act as the completion of a circle; a return to where things first began.

Graveside Confessions will be available in the following formats:

- CD Jewelcase
- Red Cassette
- Vinyl
- Red & Pink Swirl W/ Black Splatter
- Clear W/ Red & Black Splatter

Pre-order your copy here. Pre-save the album here.

With the engineering of the record completed in-house by drummer Shawn Cameron, the band recorded the album at Back Lounge Studios in San Diego, CA almost entirely themselves with the help of Mick Kenney for the mixing and mastering. This process especially compared to Carnifex albums of the past developed a far more satisfying and concentrated artistic vision for the band. Carnifex enlisted English artist Godmachine, who has worked on the two previous albums, to create the next instalment of visual art for Graveside Confessions.

Graveside Confessions tracklisting:

"Graveside Confessions"
"Pray For Peace"
"Seven Souls"
"Cursed"
"Carry Us Away"
"Talk To The Dead"
"January Nights"
"Cemetery Wander"
"Countess Of Perpetual Torment"
"Dead Bodies Everywhere"
"Cold Dead Summer"
"Alive For The Last Time"

NORTHTALE Release New Version Of "Follow Me" With New Vocalist GUILHERME HIROSE; Studio Playthough Video Streaming

NORTHTALE Release New Version Of "Follow Me" With New Vocalist GUILHERME HIROSE; Studio Playthough Video Streaming

In August 2019, power metal newcomers Northtale released their successful debut album, Welcome To Paradise. After a recent lineup change, the band announced their new vocalist, Guilherme Hirose from Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Now, with a new album and a big tour on the horizon, the band is happy to present a special single to shorten the wait: Today, Northtale releases a music video for their re-recorded version of the 2019 track "Follow Me" with Guilherme Hirose on vocals. Watch the clip below, and
get the single digitally here.

Guitarist Bill Hudson comments: "As most of you know, we have recently welcomed our new singer, Guilherme Hirose, to the band. While the world was hiding inside their homes, a lot of musicians just went into the studio to create new music, and we were no different. Guilherme has blown our minds in the studio, and I am pretty sure we've created a much better record than our debut. This also made me want to listen to him sing some of our old songs, so we recorded a few of those in the studio and we get to show them to you now! Sadly, it'll be a few months before our new album is out, but rest assured, it'll come out in time for our European tour with Unleash The Archers and Striker this winter! We will start it off with my favorite song in the entire album, 'Follow Me'!"

New singer Guilherme Hirose adds: "I'm very happy and thankful that I was able to put my interpretation and soul on some of the songs from Northtale's debut album! I can't wait for everyone to save those songs on their favorite playlists!"

HAKEN Frontman ROSS JENNINGS Releases "Violet" Single And Music Video; New Solo Tour Dates Announced

HAKEN Frontman ROSS JENNINGS Releases "Violet" Single And Music Video; New Solo Tour Dates Announced

As lead vocalist and co-songwriter of successful modern progressive metal band Haken, Ross Jennings has been involved in some of the biggest releases in the prog metal world over the past decade.

Now, Jennings has written, recorded, and self-produced his debut solo effort, titled A Shadow Of My Future Self, which is set to be released on November 19 via Graphite Records.

A Shadow Of My Future Self finds Ross on a musical journey fans have not heard him explore professionally before, writing very personal songs in what can only be described as a love letter to Ross’s extensive record collection and eclectic musical upbringing that were the foundation to his musical inspiration. This album in question starts on the fringe of a country road, navigates indie pop, anthemic rock, power ballads, and culminates in some epic prog.

Ross has the following to say about the project: “Despite my history, I rarely regard myself as a metal singer, so I was in desperate need to scratch a long time itch and make a record that appeals to the broader spectrum of my musical palette. With A Shadow Of My Future Self, I unashamedly wear my influences on my sleeve but this is the kind of music I always imagined I’d be making before I took the path less traveled into prog metal… Needless to say, this is somewhat more accessible and radio-friendly stuff!”

Today, Ross unveils a new video for the single "Violet", which you can watch below.

“The lyrics of ‘Violet’ once again deal with navigating through the highs and lows of close, long-term relationships. For the video I reconnected with an old friend from my days in film school, ‘Ben Jones’ (aka Vidiotbrain) (https://www.instagram.com/vidiotbrain/). Among my vast notes for the video treatment, I showed him Peter Gabriel’s video for ’Sledgehammer’ and asked him to take the spirit of that and crank it up to 11…be careful what you wish for they say! I couldn’t be happier with the results.”  - Ross

You can also stream the track here. The album is available for pre-order here.

Tracklisting:

"Better Times"
"Words We Can't Unsay"
"Violet"
"The Apologist"
"Rocket Science"

CADAVER Release "Feed The Pigs" Music Video

CADAVER Release "Feed The Pigs" Music Video

Back with a vengeance and hell-bent on destruction, Norwegian death metallers, Cadaver, are back in business and ready to reign. Edder & Bile, the first full length from this band’s new incarnation of Anders Odden’s original, extreme metal vision, was unleashed unto the world in November of 2020 via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, the band releases the music video for the single, "Feed The Pigs", which was directed by Julio Mendoza. Watch below.

Anders Odden comments, “The first song Dirk Verbeuren and I wrote as we resurrected Cadaver back in 2016 was 'Feed The Pigs'. At the time, I was looking for a singer and as the song pays tribute to the Florida scene (the 80s and early 90s) Kam Lee from Death and Massacre was on my shortlist to fill the role. When he got the demo he got super inspired and wrote all the rest of the lyrics and recorded a demo within 24 hours. We were blown away and kept this original idea when we recorded the album in 2019. As the pandemic destroyed all interactions with social distancing, we thought of making a video that reflects our time. All of us have done several COVID-19 collaborations where musicians jam across their bands and film themselves. This video is a tribute to the post-apocalyptic world we live in, enjoy.”

Edder & Bile was produced by the band as well as Adair Daufembach who also handled the engineering. The album was recorded and mixed at Northwood Sound Studios in Hollywood, CA. The album features vocal cameos from death metal icons Kam Lee (Massacre) and Jeff Becerra (Possessed) ensuring that this crushing rebirth has underground credentials to spare. The photo for the artwork was taken by Hannah Verbeuren and the layout was created by Justin Bartlett.

Buy or listen to Edder & Bile here.

DESTRUCTION's SCHMIER Says Founding Guitarist MIKE SIFRINGER Has 'Disconnected From The Band'

DESTRUCTION's SCHMIER Says Founding Guitarist MIKE SIFRINGER Has 'Disconnected From The Band'

DESTRUCTION frontman Schmier says that the band's founding guitarist Michael "Mike" Sifringer has "disconnected" from the rest of the group and is not featured on DESTRUCTION's just-completed new studio album.

Schmier addressed Sifringer's status with DESTRUCTION just a couple of weeks after the band performed without Mike at the Area 53 Festival in Leoben, Austria.

Asked in a new interview with Metal Pilgrim to clarify where Sifringer stands with regard to DESTRUCTION, Schmier said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I would like to know myself too. It's a very difficult question because he disconnected from the band some months ago already. It means we went to the studio and recorded a new album, and he just didn't come. We did demo sessions, writing new songs, and he didn't come to write songs with us. After I tried to face him with the problems, he disappeared and he kind of disconnected with us. There's definitely some deeper problems I don't know yet. We'll still give him a little time — till the 19th [of August], till we have the press release.

"We recorded a new album. We wrote new songs. And we will also have a special surprise on the 19th for the fans.

"Of course, we're not gonna stop," he continued. "Mike is a founding member, and he was always important for the band, but if he doesn't wanna do this anymore, I cannot help him. And I also cannot look behind the curtain. Nobody can be forced to do what you wanna do.

"For me, it's disappointing in one way. It's also shocking. But I've been in this business for too long. I know those things can happen. I always told him we're not gonna close the door on him. It's his decision. And we'll see what happens.

"For me now, I have to survive," Schmier added. "I have to keep the band alive. We had some really difficult moments keeping the band together, finding a new label also — we switched from Nuclear Blast to Napalm Records also. We had to finish the live album also, even knowing that Mike might be leaving us after the release. So it wasn't easy for us. But I'm trying to focus now on the future of the band. And I'm happy we have a great team around us. We have a great team in the band. And we're all good friends. And what happens to Mike, it's in his own hands, basically. So, hopefully, in two weeks we're gonna have a press release with an announcement that exactly shows what's gonna be it for him, at least. Because the band will continue nevertheless.

"Some people said, 'DESTRUCTION is nothing without Mike Sifringer,' which is understandable. But I'm the main songwriter in the band. I wrote all the DESTRUCTION songs. Mike wrote with me sometimes; a lot of stuff I wrote myself. Even though I'm not a guitar player, but I'm the main songwriter in the band. Not all the fans know this. But the band will continue nevertheless. And we're not gonna change our sound, we're not gonna change our style. I just hope the fans are gonna give us a chance and see that we're not there to die yet."

Schmier went on to confirm that Mike's apparent departure from DESTRUCTION didn't happen overnight.

"Some fans came to me and said over the last years, 'What's wrong with Mike? He looks unhealthy,'" he said. "I tried to communicate this with him, [about] his lifestyle. It's always a lifestyle thing.

"Some people like to live healthy, do sports, [stay] clean — no drugs, no alcohol, or have at least kind of a regulated life. And some other people like to… They don't give a fuck about the way they treat their body. And it's kind of obvious, if you look at Mike's health the last years, he didn't wanna change his lifestyle. Drinking and smoking and whatever comes in, when you get older, you've gotta change something.

"I'm not a huge fan of THE ROLLING STONES, but I think their way of doing it till they're old… I have so much respect for this," he continued. "Because one day in your life, you've gotta cut down all that shit. You've gotta cut down the drugs and the fucking drinking and the hangovers every day, because you wanna perform for your fans on a high level. And it's only possible when you have some discipline.

"When we were 17, music was fun and was a hobby and it was great to party. We didn't have sleep, we didn't care because we could still perform. But when you get older, you need to be on top of the shit and you need to watch yourself. That's something that I had a different vision than Mike. And that's all I can say about this.

"He's his own person. He can do whatever he wants. And if he wants to live his life this way, it's his call."

Sifringer is the only member of DESTRUCTION to have remained constant throughout the band's career. Schmier appeared on DESTRUCTION's first three albums before leaving the band and being replaced by POLTERGEIST vocalist André Grieder. André's sole recorded appearance with DESTRUCTION was on the "Cracked Brain" album, which came out in 1990. Schmier rejoined DESTRUCTION in 1999.

DESTRUCTION will release a new Blu-ray and CD, "Live Attack", on August 13 via Napalm Records. The 22-song release includes footage of the band's nearly two-hour livestream concert from January 2021 at the legendary Z7 venue in Pratteln, Switzerland.

In May 2020, DESTRUCTION delivered a treat for fans stuck at home and unable to attend live shows: "Born To Thrash - Live In Germany", the band's first live album with the most lineup, was made available digitally on all streaming and download platforms.

DESTRUCTION's latest studio album, "Born To Perish", was released in August 2019 via Nuclear Blast. The disc was recorded in January and February 2019 with V.O. Pulver (PRO-PAIN, BURNING WITCHES, NERVOSA) at Little Creek Studios in Switzerland and is the first DESTRUCTION album to feature Randy Black on drums and second guitarist Damir Eskic.

Damir is a Swiss guitar player of Bosnian decent who works as a guitar teacher, himself being a former pupil of Tommy Vetterli (CORONER). He also plays in a heavy metal band called GOMORRA and previously contributed three solos to DESTRUCTION's 2016 album "Under Attack".
